I've decided I want to put in an ask for Gabe.(You can ignore this part if you want, it doesn't really matter as much as the actual ask)

So: Gabe, what made you decide to leave TGG? I'm curious. Was it regret? Guilt? The realization that certain targets were actually quite good people(such as Whitty)? A combination of those? Or was it something else entirely?

Gabe sits quietly for a moment, finding the right way to explain it.

"I suppose it's because of all of those reasons. The company tended to... 'start us out young', persay. At least, that was my case. You never interact with these so called "monsters" until you stray from your duties. I hesitated one time with Whitty, and... well, I suppose he noticed that and took the chance to talk me down. It wasn't until weeks of talking to him that I realized just how corrupted that company is."

He adjusts his glasses for a moment, them smiles. "Either way, I will never regret choosing to abandon that company. If that makes me one of their targeted 'monsters', then so be it."

Hey so I watched a circus recently and I had no choice but to make a gravity falls AU

(theres my spitballing initial ideas yippee)

Basically, at some point, Stan starts a circus that travels around the country (so no mystery shack). Dipper and Mabel have to run away for some reason, and the only place they can think to go is the circus. (I'll flesh it out later whatever.) (or they don't run away and their parents just send them to hang with stan. who knows)

The first 'Episode' or whatever is the kids trying to get stan to let them stay.

after that, it's kind of a rewrite where instead of fighting monsters in gravity falls, they fight monsters as they travel along the western US.

When they start out, the kids would be a part of the clown show, which Mabel would enjoy and Dipper would loathe with his whole being:

(their clown names are 'Shooting Star' and 'Little Dipper.' Dipper is the butt of many of their clown gags.)

Eventually, they would get a different act, where they are known as the Mystery Twins!

(They wear fun sparkly costumes and show off crazy fantastical creatures that Dipper catches while the audience goes "woooow, those are some impressive practical effects!")

There will also be other acts, like wendy will probably have an axe throwing act, and gideon's role is essentially the same but he works for stan (at the beginning). And Soos will be there as the ever faithful handyman.

Ive only been thinking about this for a few day, and i've been busy, so I dont have all the details thought out yet, so this is all the idea vomit for now

(OC) v quick siwons... drew that first one as a joke aldjskdjs korean military buzzcut... wanted to see if he's still recognizable even when bald... thanks to the mole it still retains a siwon essence i think🫣 this wouldnt be canon tho bc i dont think the story takes place in korea.... (in the dream the cast was pretty diverse so.. i think there'd be more freedom to set it in a us-inspired setting. like promare)

Typically in the past I've searched for "links meet au" and that will yield results, though a lot of it is already known au's and whatnot. Otherwise I don't know what are good terms or tags to search for au's or redesigns, etc. sorry augh :'] hopefully anyone who reads this might have better suggestions!

(thank you!! i'm glad you enjoy them <33 tbh i think Twilight and Legend are my favorites out of all of them (warriors is my least favorite but thats because making primary colors + green work together is ROUGH and I hate looking at him sometimes he makes me so angry (he doesn't make me that angry i'm being dramatic but once i get my hands on him for a second draft its all over)), tho I'm thinking of repurposing those redesigns for an au of sorts. a little :3c if you will)
