FNAF SPOILERS! SCROLL! TALKING ABOUT THE SPRINGLOCK SCENE!
i’ve seen so many people discussing the springlock scene in both negative and positive ways and i think it brings up really cool points about how matthew played that scene and balanced fan expectations with his own characterisation.
i think the discussions around this movie have rlly exposed the disconnect between fanon and canon in fnaf, especially talking abt the core games in isolation, bc frankly in the game universe (ignoring the books) we get Very Little characterisation for William other than the obvious, but Matthew managed to add so much in the way he talks and his body language.
in the reveal scene, we see afton at arguably his peak. in his first scene, he comes off as somewhat demeaning and judgemental until he recognises mike’s name, at which point he seems to have this nervous energy, rushing to cover it up but stumbling slightly, his reaction to the tables being turned even slightly is massive.
this is a man who committed multiple mrdrs in essentially broad daylight, hid the bodies in the most obvious place, and still got away with it, and then kept the crime scene as a trophy of his actions, and an ongoing prison sentence for his victims. he has been in complete control for decades, and is confident that he can deal with any kind of threat quickly. his confidence in his reveal is palpable
it changes when vanessa shoots him. the whole parallel with vanessa and the animatronics is hugely interesting too- how william refers to the animatronics almost endearingly as “kids” when he wants them to obey, how both vanny and the animatronics have an unearned loyalty to him, almost a pseudo-adoption through what he did to them, taking them from their parents and keeping them under his thumb, forever stuck as naive, forgiving, obedient children. vanessa breaking from that control shakes him, but the mask slips back into place almost immediately.
then, he’s outsmarted by the brother of one of his victims, and the child he planned to end next. his pseudo-children turn on him and he can no longer manipulate his appearance or shed his skin to escape. he explodes on them, and his language is incredibly telling that he is being dishonest.
he calls them small, trying to belittle them into submission, even though they are ten feet tall metal animatronics powered by rage. he is grasping at straws to regain control, and failing miserably.
finally, the springlocks go off. the locks in the movie look more like a ribcage, so the first two likely puncture his lungs. they’re slow, and painful, but he doesn’t scream or beg or sob. he grunts and groans, gritting his teeth and only letting out sounds of pain that sound almost involuntary. there is no way in hell he would visibly let himself show weakness or pain in front of these creatures that he believes he has control over. he isn’t brought to his knees until there are eight metal spikes embedded in his abdomen. he doesn’t let the mask fall for even a second, until he literally PUTS THE ACTUAL MASK ON and finally collapses. even then, he’s fighting for consciousness, twitching and writhing with no control over his body. william afton thrives on control, and his soul will not rest until he gets it back.
it’s why he keeps the pizzeria- he always comes back. he can’t help but return to the scene of the crime, putting on his old costume, continuing his killings. he revels in being a constant threat on the horizon. and now, he knows he is going to die, and he knows the suit will bring him back, and noone will be able to get rid of him then. so he puts the mask back on, and waits.
in terms of the sfx- they’re pretty accurate. with stab wounds, you need to leave the knife in the wound as long as possible for best chance of survival, as it stops the blood from escaping. in terms of the springlocks, there wouldn’t be copious amounts of blood as the locks are keeping the wounds filled- which is good because it means a slower, more painful death.
#fnaf#fnaf movie#eden rambles#william afton#matthew lillard#springtrap#five nights at freddy's#fnaf spoilers#idk i thought it was a great scene#ppl just need to manage their expectations of what fnaf 1 Actually Is in isolation#not the years of other media and fandom and lore and theory#we literally saw him get springlocked one time in 8 bit with no audio and four frames. how is this worse in comparison#wanna make another post talking abt how the film explores images vs the reality when you look deeper#specifically abby and her drawings/the drawings at freddys vs mike’s motivation being based on the images he sees in his dreams#and how it’s so perfect for fnaf 1 being a game almost entirely made of just scary images without actually exploring the reality#that these robots are Children and Scared and Lost#tldr the fort scene was necessary

I love your joker and grabber crossovers and I would love more of those if you’re interested in writing more but when I was looking at your fics specifically the one where reader has a yellow bunny and I instantly thought of William Afton.
So now I can’t get out of my head a fic of reader dating or married to William but Albert wants them too. (Or vice versa) Preferably fem reader or gen neutral.
Oh Anon I so love this! And I know which fic you mean. The yellow bunny Grabber fic was a request by one of my followers who showed me a lot of support :) It was before Afton came around the corner, but oh boy... imagine this!
That bunny was actually a plush Yellow Bunny/Springtrap. Given to you by the man you were dating. Perhaps you always fancied older men. Perhaps you met him through work, as you applied to work at Freddy's. Perhaps you knew him through your parents. Whatever it was, he gave that bunny to you so you could always cuddle him when he wasn't near.
How thoughtful. How romantic of him.
And there you are, in the Grabber's basement, curling in on yourself with tears pricking your eyes, arms wrapped around your knees against the cold, praying for your lover to rescue you.
Will he arrive in time? Before the Grabber can defile you?
Or would your rescue be too late? Them dragging you out, bruised and covered in grime, dirty beyond the physical.
And that yellow bunny you thought you lost would be pressed into your hands before you'd gotten home or had the chance to be checked by medics or given a shower. It's the first thing handed to you once you're out of that dreadful house.
Will the Grabber have survived? Is he out there? Or captured? Or dead?
And William? Would you have been his one and only or was he still married at the time - possibly never have told you about it?
How will William react when he finds out that his (secret) lover has been held hostage and is now free again. Oh, he'll be so angry, he'll be seething. He'll set out for revenge.
You might know he fits the rabbit suit, but you might not know all the horrors he's bestowed upon the town. Those kids who are dead? He isn't any worse than the man they just freed you from.
Will he go and enact his revenge? Will he and the Grabber come to some sort of mutual understanding? Luring in victims? Learning to share (you)?
Hmm, I don't think so. I think they'd be too consumed by whatever danger is overtaking their black souls, unable to even entertain the idea of having to share you with anyone.
If the Grabber wins then be prepared to watch your little yellow plushie burn, much the same as the grown-up man burned in his yellow suit, springs broken and blood seeping out - threatening to quench the fire.
If William wins, whatever relationship he might have been in before will end, and he'll take you to his cosy home and treat you just right. Until you find out about his hobbies, of course, and the many atrocities he has committed. I mean, it wouldn't take long to figure them out. There's a familiar man in a spring-lock suit in his cellar downstairs. He'd want you to watch as he ended him.
Would you let him? Or would you turn just as foul as him and decide that two can play this game? Develop a new spring-lock-suit-fetish and have him dress up, keep both men to your own.
~
Anyway, I can imagine so many different outcomes. What would you think would happen? :3
Thanks for stopping by and talking to me, anon 💚

Spoilers for what might be in FNAF Survival Crew down the line. You’ll only get a description and a link to the image in question (plus some spoilers in the tags), but yeahh.
TL;DR: Very cool Chica costume and a Bonnie outfit that’s making my William detect-o-meter go wild. You’ll see why in a second.
-
Okay, are you ready? Cool.
Plague Doctor Chica’s going first. Just so I can gather my thoughts a bit more.
And, yes, I’m not kidding. Chica has a Plague Doctor variant now. And she. Looks. Wonderful.
The detail in her outfit! The cool cane that is a separate model! The overall menacing vibe she has!! She might actually be my favorite Chica design now. Too bad she probably won’t get merch until the game actually comes out..
..And too bad I don’t have a proper segue into the other animatronic I really want to talk about: Burlap Bonnie.
Now, I could very well be wrong. There’s a very high chance of that, knowing my track record.
But I think this is our very first look at a William Afton model. Or it’s referencing a design for him that’s on the way.
The burlap head is yellow with a Springtrap-ish look to it, there’s a necklace that looks like it’s carrying a rabbits foot (which might be a trait carried from the FNAF movie), and the fact that it looks like a human apart from the obvious Bonnie feet.
If I am right (or at least close), then that means three things.
(1) William is a snazzier dresser than I gave him credit for
(2) William still has that “must keep rabbit mask on at (almost) all times” thing from the Silver Eyes. [And, as a result, I am suspecting there’s another reason besides keeping a low profile.]
(3) BIG BOY WILLIAM’S CANON TO THE GAMES, BABYYYY. 🎉🎉
*ahem* Sorry, got a bit too hyped there. It’s cool that one of William’s pre-MCI traits (I.e. being a lot pudgier) from the Silver Eyes might’ve been carried over. It’s extra cool for me, since I’ve drawn my own pre-MCI William with that body shape for a while.
Speaking of him, I guess I gotta go draw his possible new outfit. Thanks for taking the time to read this, if you did.

I'm intrigued what's the everybody's alive but nobody grows up AU about???
Ok I might start rambling because getting asked about AUs is really exciting!
The premise is that William is arrested for Charlie's murder before The Bite happens or Circus Baby has the chance to catch Elizabeth. The Afton kids all survive to adulthood, but end up really emotionally stunted in the process without any stable parent figure.
The kid's mental ages are stuck at roughly 16, 12 and 7 respectively, even as they get into late teens and 20's. They all end up moving out and living on their own when the time comes, but have a lot of issues for quite a while.
Michael continues being a bully, which is now worse because he's also the 'dad'. Without having a reason to redeem himself he turns out just as bad as William, minus the murders. Unlike his father, he's not trying to put up a friendly exterior so his roughness is super obvious. He also takes over Afton robotics when he's old enough.
Elizabeth acts like a lovestruck tween, gushing over actors in movies and such. She's not into 'fashion' as much as 'pretty sparkly things' Her coping strategy is to try to looking at romance to fill up the hole left behind without parental affection, the problem is, all her choices are incredibly questionable. Michael's only real redeeming trait is that he actually cares about her not running off with a man who'll ruin her life. He tends to keep her suitors away with threats. (He's still a schoolyard bully inside, after all)
Evan is... oddly normal. On the outside. Just don't look in his bedroom. It's been decorated the same way for about 20 years now and he'll only eat things like chicken nuggets and juice boxes. Even if his speech patterns are mature enough, he immediately snaps back into being 7 years old when he gets home or something stressful happens. For a while they were the same thing.
William's time in prison seems to have had little effect on him. In fact he looks only a few years older then when he was arrested 30 years prior. The authorities can't get him to say a word about how he did it. He didn't keep Remnant a secret all this time to give it up now.
The plot isn't very concreate right now. At one point Mrs. Afton leaves because she starts seeing the cracks in William's facade and pretty much leaves her first family behind. Michael tries to move back in with her after the arrest, but tensions with the step family are so high that he takes his siblings and leaves pretty much as soon as he's 18. Gotta wonder if his distrust of authority had something to do with that. Henry's still around, but he wants nothing to do with the kids of the man who killed his daughter, so Michael's on his own there too.
Evan and Elizabeth start their own families when they're old enough (by a miracle) and it does a whole lot of good for them. Elizabeth finally gets unconditional love and Evan is able to heal his inner child by raising his own kid. (Vanessa and Gregory are Elizabeth and Evan's kids respectively) Michael was married for about 3 years and got divorced because he was just so bad at it. This also means that he gets William as a room mate when he gets released from jail
#getting questions about AUs is probably the best thing ever :D#fnaf au#Everyone lives but doesn’t grow up au#long post

so. have some more Golden No Longer au things, specifically in regards to what i call The Glitchtrap/Malhare era! (i personally like the name Malhare better, because it matches with O'Hare, which is what i changed Springbonnie's name to)
so, a few lore things to keep in mind for this:
- i ignore a good 95% of shit from the books, including Remnant. it's for the sake of the timeline and my sanity.
- Golden No Longer is...kinda a rewrite, but is more or less my own version of the Fnaf timeline that has been made so that the timeline is much simpler than it is canonically and also makes Some Kind of sense.
- Malhare, at least in Golden No Longer, is basically a small piece of Afton's soul left behind that grew into its own thing. Afton, who is still in Ultimate Custom Night Hell thanks to Cassidy, is completely unaware of its existence, at least for a while.
- once we get into The Malhare Era, the plot Definitely shifts around a lot. new characters get introduced, there are some Familiar Last Names in there, and just some Funky Plot Stuff happens.
so! let's start off with some names. i'm sure some sound familiar :)
- Tabitha "Tabi" Smith
- Gregory Schmidt (well...he technically isn't aware that's his last name, because Orphan)
- Cassie Emily
- Vanessa Warren (not necessarily a familiar one, but there is an Easter Egg with that last name ;])
- Summer Afton Atkins
...so. you're probably wondering What The Fuck. well! i can answer those real quick!
- Fritz Smith (yes the Fnaf 2 Night 7 nightguard) had kids. plural. Fritz Jr. and Jeremy, the missing kids, being two of them. Tabi survived to adulthood, though.
- Mike Schmidt, who is different from Michael Afton in GNL AND is Cassidy's younger brother, married a nonbinary partner who he had a child with. that child ended up having a child (Gregory) that they weren't ready to care for, and thus gave up. Greg is entirely unaware of his technical last name, and the history of that name.
- Sammy Emily, after having a whole crisis after his father died in Pizzeria Simulator (he's dedicated his entire life for the past few decades for avenging his sister's death, as well as the deaths of several other children), married a woman that he adopted a child with. he also worked as a technician in the Pizzaplex. he wants Bonnie back >:/ Cassie doesn't know much about her father's history, but she has heard tales of her "dear Aunt Charlotte/Charlie" who died way too soon.
- Vanny. that's just her.
- so...long story short, William had some siblings, specifically a brother. :) this brother actually had kids that lived long enough to have children of their own. :) Summer is Afton's great niece, and he is the Tape Girl (Summer is genderqueer). oh yeah, they and Vanny are dating.
some brief plot things:
Summer and Vanny move to the Fnaf Town (i think it's called Hurricane?), and upon Summer introducing themself, they find people...looking at them weird, like there's something wrong with her. he feels confused; did it do something wrong?
the pair get jobs working for Fazbear Entertainment, and the pre-Help Wanted story stuff happens. Malhare causes problems for the couple, and they both reluctantly get involved with this shit.
Summer starts having nightmares of meeting Afton in Hell (UCN), and while he's hostile and closed off at first, he realizes that this is likely his only chance to talk with another person, so he eventually starts (unknowingly) chatting with his great niece. Summer views their chats as being more disturbing than anything else. Afton still doesn't know who Summer is, and vice-versa.
Summer Now Has A Glitchy Hare In His Brain, And So Does Vanny (but he causes more problems for Summer).
they go to work at the Pizzaplex, Vanny getting a job as a security guard, and Summer getting a more technician-type job.
Vanny is definitely more of a Reluctant Follower of Malhare (the idea of child murder is...unsettling for Vanny), but less so than Summer (Summer Fucking Hates All Of This).
Tabi, the younger sibling of two of the MCI kids and another security guard, has...rather negative opinions on the last name Afton, so to say...so Summer changes its last name to Atkins to avoid drama with her.
Malhare realizes Gregory exists and goes You Wanna Know What Would Be A Funny Idea? and that's how Security Breach happens.
Tabi's just trying to find Gregory so she can get him home or at least somewhere safer. Vanny is just trying to get the child murder over with so that she doesn't back out of this/get cold feet and piss off the Literal Glitchy Hare That Can Probably Kill her, and Summer is trying to fight off Malhare and lead Gregory to safety so that nothing bad happens.
everything works out, The End, Gregory is safe but the Pizzaplex is destroyed. Malhare is Pissed and is making that rather clear to Vanny and Summer. they're both relieved, though.
The Ruin DLC happens, and Malhare (as the Mimic) decides to go Alright You Guys Aren't Gonna Help Me Murder A Child? Fine, I'll Do It Myself. because yes Malhare, The Last Time Someone Killed An Emily Kid, That Ended Really Well For Them, Right? :) Sammy has dedicated his life to avenging a family member before, Malhare, don't fucking make him do it again, because you don't know how far he is willing to go.
Cassie survives, but just barely. Greg manages to help her get out, but not before Malhare and him lock eyes for a moment. Gregory booked it out at that point.
idk what happens from here, but. Probably Something
anyway, this is a brief plot summary so far. as always, feel free to send asks! ("Summer Is Effectively Being Forced To Start A Cycle All Over, And They Fucking Hate It So Much" is the best summary of this whole mess right here)
#fnaf#fnaf au#Golden No Longer au#Dandy goes 'baa!'#Summer Is Going Through It. So Is Vanny. But Vanny Is Still On Board With The Murder Stuff. She Draws The Line At Child Murder Apparently#like. remember when she was known as a 'Reluctant Follower?' i decided to add that back into her character#she might be kinda on board with this. but she still feels...hesitant. uncertain#is this all really for the best? is it really?#but then again...would pissing off the Glitchy Murder Hare necessarily be the best option either?#then you have Summer who isn't even having a moral dilemma; she's already gone 'Fuck You Malhare'#her struggles are more with Malhare being in his head 24/7. the Afton Hell Nightmares.-#-and the fact that xe's related to A Fucking Child Murderer#so yeah! neither of them are having a good time!

"First Glance"(Apprehensive Fazbear Frights) (Soft Redux AU) Mike: What the fuck are you?! file_name:mimic1_SLIVEREYES: WHAT'S WRONG MIKE? MISS YOUR OLD PAL, CHARLOTTE? COME GIVE YOUR OLD MAN A HUG!" (Soft Redux AU) Mike: WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK?! (3, 2, 1, GO!) FUN FACT: Mike actually survive in the ways the other (normal Soft) Aftons died in Catastrophe Fazbear Frights: 1. Stay Vigilante (Soft William and Perv Glitchtrap) Mike isn't buying any of file_name:mimic1_SLIVEREYES' bullshit and is able to survive a sneak attack from the thing. (hence the scars). 2. Don't taunt it. (Soft CC/Bastard Chris): Soft Chris is more then inclined to taunt and mock file_name:mimic1_SLIVEREYES, bring up past trauma of theirs and stuff, he died shortly afterwards. 3. FUCKING DODGE! (Soft (Bitch) Elizabeth): Soft Liz could have survive, with at least losing an arm if she, just, FUCKING, DODGED! 4. Took the shot when he has the chance (Soft Miss Afton/Lovesick Clara): To be fair, she was confronted with the dead bodies of her kids and husband. Oh, Mike gets a firearm later on in the song.

Oh ok where to start?
To start, let me say: in my personal opinion the lore in fnaf is so conveluted and confusing at this point the best way to enjoy fnaf is to just cherrypick what you like. I used to have a google slides presentation but it got too long.
In the year 1987, in a small town called Hurricane Utah, a child's head got bitten off by an animatronic bear in a freindly small town dinner(Run by William Afton and Henry Emily). This was the cause of parents not watching, deadly animatronic malfunctioning, and bullying. The kid was the child of the restaurant's owner, Williams Afton. He was bullied by his older brother, Michael Afton. After the childs injury, he was sent to the infurmary where he survived for 5 nights but was truamatized by nightmares (making fnaf 4). When he died, William was at his beadside and caught a glimps of a light leaving his son's body and capturing it before it could leave.
William gained an idea to revive his son stole the body and decided to murder to try and learn more about this substance he decided to name remnant at first he killed a child who was sadly sitting out in the rain. Little did he know that the child was Henry's daughter, who had an animatronic built for her to take care of her when he was busy working. This animatornic named the Marionette (or puppet, depending on who you ask), noticed the child missing and went out in the rain to comfort her as she died. This caused the remnant to become attatched to the Marionette and the kid possed it.
Later, William realized he didn't collect the remnant and went a killin again and murdered a child named Susie by luring her to the back rooms. He collected a part of the remnant, but feeling guilty for murdering a child, he tried to kill his workers, but could not capture their remnant (these workers later became Shadow Feeddy and Shadow bony/Rwqfsfasxc [<- my fav char]). Meanwhile, the Marionette finding the body of Suise decided to give her new life by shoving the corspe inside one of the animatronics, Chica, who was possedes by Suises remaining uncollected remnant + her agony. Afton worried where the body went when he came back to clean up, shrugged it, and continued pretending to be a normal businessman.
Afton needing more remnant went on a lil murder spree during a kids birthday, killing Gabriel, Fritz, Jeremey (the first of 4 separate characters named Jeremy), Cassify and, Mike Brooks. He collected them remnant and weent to put it in jars or something. Once again, Marionette shoved their bodys in suits, and so they went in Feeddy, Bonnie, and Foxy. But they were ruining out of animatornics, so Mari shoved the other two in the decomissioned Fredbear, who still had some soul left over from when the bite victum died. (Fun fact we actually have a date for this it lands June 26, i hc still in 1987)
The nasty circumstances of the animatornics having rotting corpse in them cause the place to be shut down only for William and Henry to make a second location and use the old bots for parts. A young worker known as Jeremy Fitzgerald starts working there. While he is working, William gets a killing again, and the new animatronics all become possessed and become to hate adults because they can't identify who the killer is. Jeremy gets moved to dayshift and when the animatronics become active they bite Jeremy causing a second bite of 87. (I headcanon this is why there is so much confusion around the bite of 87, there are 2 one in spring and one in november. The stupid 1 in 100 chance of seeing a tv saying 1983 is stupud and probably just when the franchise gained a show like "fazbear and friends since 1983" or something there is so much more evidence that it should have been 1987.)
Meanwhile, William afton decided that a more streamlined method of murder would make life easier and founded Circus Baby's Pizzaworld with animatornics meant to lure children away, distract parents, and capture their bodies/remnant. This failed horribly as His daughter, Elizabeth, had wandered off from him and gotten murdered by Circus baby. William shit it down, blaming it on a gasleak, and went crazy from greif as all attempts to raise his child from the dead have failed.
I have to get ready for work. I'll send more soon!!! Ty for letting me ramble. Im currently working on writing a fanfic of my headcanon timeline, but it's going very slowly.
okay. so where does the security officer come in? is that jeremy fitzgerald? also the only thing i know about fnaf lore is purple man.

Gregory isn't hopped up on soda but he's definitely got a vindictive streak to him on top of his will to survive. That said, without spoiling too much, Sun and Moon are definitely Not Acting As They Should, Moon to a DANGEROUS degree, and Gregory didn't want to die. Also without spoiling too much, all of these robots are definitely abused to hell and back, and it would not at all surprise me if Sun was given too many kids and not enough help.
Ah, I see. I figured I was a bit off on that assumption, that's why I keep clarifying that it's all speculation, ha 😅😅😅
I swear, Fazbear Entertainment couldn't be any more devious then if they just went ahead and changed thier name to Weyland-Yutani and sent some scientists into space with an android under strict classified instructions, haha amirite? 👀
I have a sneaking suspicion that there might be some relevant information in the AR Special Delivery game as well, but since I can barely play it due to my area being not very good with games like that (it's hard enough to keep up with everyone in Pokémon GO, lol), because the the Freddy Files complete edition includes a section of relevant information pertaining to "company emails" that seem to take place about the time the Afton Virus came to fruition, and they've included ones in particular that seem to be telling us exactly how the virus was introduced... You might find this interesting
Of course, I'd have to wait to get the game itself and the game guide that's slated for release later this year before I can be sure, but we all know by now that every detail can't be disregarded in this series, lol.
I do have Help Wanted, so I'm well aware of the Anomaly and Tape Girl's tapes and how Afton got himself affixed to the circuit boards (yes, I also have some Fazbear Frights books, including... THAT one), so I'm trying my best to get an idea of what to expect when I get the chance to play it. I'd get it for my laptop if i could be sure it wasn't going to fry my system trying to download it since I'm in rural nowhere and we don't have the best bandwidth... 👀
Either way, Gregory does seem like a pretty cool player-character and it's not often that you get a kid character that's actually acting like a child would in such a crazy situation. I probably would have done the same at his age... Actually, I'm pretty sure I would have definitely, I was not very popular with child services in my youth because of how distrusting I was of people and how I didn't accept adults' answers to my questions at face value (see, back in those days, that sort of behavior would get you deemed as "domineering" and "problem child", but like... It's CPS and they're not explaining to me what's going on, of course I'd be difficult)

FNAF Security Breach AU ~ Underground Bunny Burrow
AU is Underground survival with Bonnie being a guardian for the Night maintenance lady Kiania
Follows Vanny Good Ending with a combination of the Afton Ending in one idea to explain why parts are happening. The theory that Vanny decommissioned Bonnie to use his parts is why he's not coming back (No, I have nothing against Monty, he's scary and badass in his own right I love him for it.)
The Glitchtrap virus has been taking effect for over 2 weeks. Kids have already been disappearing so suddenly over that period of time. Everyone thought it to be some coincidence since always involved with them disappearing during closing time with ‘no evidence' of them being still in the building.
Vanessa introduced her fellow coworker that is night Maintenance Kiania. One of the best in her line of work, been going there for a long time as a kid so she familiar with the place and animatronics with business. With her anxiety, she took the night shift to avoid stress working.
Vanny took a high interest in the young lady's talents better yet her being on the night shift. So after coming to an agreement with Glitchy that if She ever has the hope to get Glitchy body to be new with free movements like the Glamrocks. She needed working parts from the bunny bot and someone knew how to make those big repairs. She knew how to program but not build. She was fed up wasting more time learning from Glitchy how to restore and rebuild. Made more apparent that having Kiania around there would be issues just because she had the ability to take out the virus.
Vanny Decommissioned Bonnie after he for one saw Vanny bring a kid to the back after hours, two were for his bunny-built endo with abilities Vanny sees fitting for Burntrap the most. Left a notice he had disappeared as she hide him away in the underground for later.
Vanny tested her control programming with the glitch virus. Let everything in the building lead the lady to her during the night shift. All the way to the main surveillance room purposely.
Kidnapping the girl when she was out of breath and energy from being consistently chased.
Forced Kiania to tear parts from Bonnie to build Burntrap new body structure and features.
After days of being held hostage, she finally figured out a chance to get away from Vanny. She escapes after getting Bonnie working again. Becoming a duo that has to explore and find a way out of the endless underground hallways and garbage dumps to escape. Dealing with staff bots and more, when Vanny isn't chasing Gregory she down there hunting to kill the Kia and tear Bonnie apart before they could tell anyone about her master or the operation she has going on.
Bonnie's chest cavity is storage inventory since she teenager size.
Runaway faster Bonnie holds her or piggyback rides away.
unlike Gregory, this spans over a few days and nights.
Lots more action and robot dismantling in this. Since Bonnie system tweaked by Kia best she could into his safe mode. Letting willingly protect and fight other staff and others if needed. Let him override his programming hopefully protect him for the Glitch affecting everything and people.
Bonnie doesn't hesitate to protect and fight after a bit of time. Our boi isn't afraid to punch another bot since everything trying to tear him apart and his friend.
She has anxiety problems can get overwhelmed after a fight. Bonnie sings to her as he carries her to let her rest, if finds a guitar he strung a soft song to calm her nerves as well when they safe and Vanny left (go do her actually job or after Gregory depending on when). His very calming presence tries to keep her spirits high.
Of course, he's a dork who will do or find ways to have fun when they're safe or not. Anything to have fun when it isn't risking their lives is worth it to give them a break from the tension. Even if its locked in a room to sleep for a while.
When the lights go out of above with Greg I'm gonna say it becomes nearly pitch black in the underground. Since it's dimly lit anyway. (Outside sun gonna burn). Bonnie eyes glow for him leaving Kia to her flashlight only hoping it keeps working. If not she'll charge just let Bonnie carry her to be safe. (There's so much garbage and scrap metal that's old she could hurt self easily)
Kiania nicknames are Kia or KeKe, 21 years old that self-taught with a lot experience in a shop for robotics and animatronics. Been going the Pizzaplex for a long while. Got a big time pass because her mother use work for the company. (Where Kia has gotten lot of knowledge from previous places from). She gotten to be friends with animatronics in time she got to be night Maintance to her luck. Was allowed to come in before closing. So she got truly hanging out with the whole band happily.
Kia can help majorly with the animatronics and Vanny. If they just get to the surface.
Just quick sketch and colors of the AU idea.
Everything still working progress so changes may be made while making it. (Written and/or Art)

Hello as of recently while watching game theory I've begun to create my own hypothesis in reguards to some of the details and blank spaces from their theories. In particular I began noticing stuff that seemed to fit together in their 'This changes everything' theory and the last part of the 'Not what we thought' theory so PLEASE GO WATCH THOSE FIRST IF YOU HAVEN'T ALREADY, this won't make sense otherwise.
First of all I believe Michael Afton is in fact the big brother's real name aswell as the name that the little brother (crying kid) is known as in the games. I say this because I think that the little brother has taken up the big brother's identity (I will from this point on refer to The older brother as Michael and crying kid as Mike as to avoid confusion). I came to this conclusion after Matpat theorized that the immortal and the restless where the immortal always starts the show off with 'The baby isn't mine' is refrencing the relationship Between William and Mike which made me start wondering if it was not referencing their relationship but Williams relationship with his other son Michael the elder brother instead in which case he would have a bad relationship with him but have a good relationship with the younger who he thinks is his son.
This would lead the elder to possibly getting Jealous enough to start bullying his younger brother only worsening the relationship Between William and himself and ultimately completely destroying it when he by accidentally killed Mike. At this point William promises to put Mike back together again and manages to do it but there's one small tiny problem, a dead kid can't suddenly come back to life again so he needs to get Mike a new identity. Luckily there is an easy solution to his problem in which he can get his youngest son back into the family and get rid of a son that he never thought was his own and probably hates for killing his youngest son. To put it simply I think he murdered his eldest son Michael Afton and gave his identity to his recently revived and amnesiac younger son.
This is why I personally think that Mike is using his brothers name instead of his own which we know he does not remember thanks to golden Freddy. Talking about golden Freddy and Mike, when Matpat theorized that there was in fact two souls possessing Golden Freddy; A female spirit named Cassidy and the vengeful spirit from UCN, a male possibly called Kelsey, a lot of pieces began fitting in place for me. For example remember how in UCN the voice lines kept referring to ' the one you should not have killed' golden Freddy as a he when we were sure that the spirit was a she up until the latest reveal where it makes sense again because it is referring to the male spirit in golden Freddy not Cassidy the female spirit.
I think that Mike had a close relationship with Kelsey both when he was still alive and after he dies and posses golden Freddy. I say this first of all because of how golden Freddy writes to Mike in the survival logbook as if trying desperately to jog his memory by referencing memories from his childhood (E.g. 'Was your favourite toy a purple telephone?' and 'Does he still talk to you?' And even at one point tries to be more direct by saying that 'the party was for you', you are the younger brother not Michael the elder brother)and directly asking him if he remembers anything including asking if he remembers his name. I also believe that phsycic friend fredbear was not the mind switching robots(which I actually think inspired by phsycic friend fredbear after William saw his sons interactions with the fredbear plush and realizing an actual soul inhabited it) Matpat theorized it was in a previous video but Kelsey extending his control outwards from golden Freddy onto the plush that his friend carries everywhere so that he can monitor his friend despite being stuck in the fredbear suit in the back room where we see a tuft of his hair coming out of the suit. It's also important to note that the only place that phsycic friend fredbear doesn't appear is inside the restaurant but is clearly still there because of his voice speaking to Mike which would make sense if he doesn't need the plush to see Mike there because it's where his body is stored anyway.
I think this is entirely possible as Kelsey is clearly able to appear outside of the golden Freddy suit in a completely different form to the actual golden Freddy as seen in 1:35 am's 'The New Kid' where he takes on the form of a kid and lures several children from nearby schools into old Freddy places where he then kills them with the golden Freddy suit so it is entirely possible he could be the plush Mike carried everywhere. His relationship with Mike could also explain his motivation for killing all of those kids by luring them to the golden Freddy suit, he was probably extremely angry when he lost his best friend despite his best efforts to keep him safe in the bite of 83 and thus takes it out on kids like the bullies in Fnaf 4. He does this by basically testing the kids to see if they'll try to put him into a springlock suit like the bullies did to Mike and if they do he kills them and moves on to the next victim.
To summarise it up Kelsey was probably Mike's best friend who at some point got killed by William and stuffed into a suit but due to pure determination his spirit stayed so that he could stay by his best friends side(unlike the other animatronics who stay because of Agony as confirmed in Game theories 'Your pain fuels us'which may explain his many extra abilities as they would be necessary to be by his friends side), this determination then turned to anger when he was unable to save his friends life or put his soul into something else like he was probably planning to do when William cut his dialogue off in the final cutscene of Fnaf 4 with 'I will put you back together' in a slightly different shade of yellow. So he starts killing kids like the bullies to try and get Vengance just like the other animatronics kill nightgaurds to try and get their Vengance. Eventually he realises that somehow miraculously Mike is alive and he figures out why which leads to him possessing the survival logbook to try and communicate with him and bring back his memories which he successfully does to at least a small extent. He probably sees this as a second chance for Mike at life but can only watch as instead Mike throws his life away in pursuit of his father and then completely gives up his life in the blaze that stops his father and frees the other spirits. Once again frustrated and beyond angry that he had to watch as his friend died again he blames his friends father William this time and so makes sure that he suffers for it by becoming his personal tormentor in hell instead of moving on like everyone else did.
This would explain several odd details such as why golden Freddy's phrase is it's me as he was probably trying to tell Mike that it's me Kelsey as well as why Golden Freddy will still attack you after entering your office instead of attacking as the spirit who is in control of (or has the most control of) Golden Freddy at that moment is Cassidy who wants to kill the nightgaurd and not Kelsey no wants to protect Mike. It also explains why Kelsey would go after kids instead of nightgaurds and why Golden Freddy is so interlinked with Mike.I also believe that like Matpat suggested Mike knew some of the other missing kids and by association so did Kelsey, but he may have had a more distant relationship with them only really hanging out with them because his best friend Mike or the crying kid as he is also known did.
Thanks for reading this, it is not really a theory as is lacks evidence but as a writer who has to clarify things I write in a logical way, this is how I filled in the gaps for Matpat's theories in a similar way to how I do when writing stories. I may come back to this later with a more fresh mind but it's really late now so goodnight.

Fnaf sb predictions from the trailer these have been in and out of my drafts during and since the trailer came out. I watched dawko stream it live so that's always fun.
These are completely unorganized.
(possible spoilers lol)
- the security girl is actually Vanny and my only proof of this is purple fingernails. Sounds sus tbh. They also sound the same... But who knows... (. ❛ ᴗ ❛.)
- either the animitonics are programmed 'bad' in the beginning and we have to fix their programming (or if william afton is possessing them, undo that) OR they're 'good' and protecting us and get possesed.
-either way, security girl is a pro fnaf player if she says "theres more going on here than you know" like either she knows what goes on during the night OR she's definitely related to glitchtrap some how...
- can't wait to play wii golf and mario kart ☺️
- is the crying child dead???? Bc kid looks like the crying child (same shirt and dark hair). And maybe scott realized you can live after loosing your frontal lobe and maybe scott actually listened to Mat Pat talk about people surviving and never feeling fear after that 🤔🤔 that's why gregory won't fucking leave.)
We never saw that kids face, he might have a massive scar who knows :\
- Monty is Purple. Sounds important. BUT BUT BUT the fingernails and monty being purple could be misdirection. 🤔🤔🤔
-also I bet monty in the trailer is possesed by glitchtrap. (ALSO AHHH HIS VOICE!! I'm smitten)
-are you fucking telling me the security girls name is Vanessa. And we know Vanny is the rabbit girl. 😕. Gee, I wonder who's under the mask. No, I don't really think this is misdirection. 😐😑😐😑😐😑😐. OR maybe Vanny is an alter ego.
Literally the chance that Vanny and Vanessa are different people is slim.
- note the cupcake. That's the security desk!! :000
- I like the little show rooms! I bet we'll either go in or come out those security doors between levels.
-GOD WE CAN SEE IN THE VENTS. GOD NO.
-why is the kid here, and why won't he leave. Hes not getting paid or have a responsibility to be there.
- Maybe the animitonics aren't chasing with malicious intent as much as they're programmed to get kids out by a certain time! Maybe they think he's lost...
But I definitely think there's possession I there with malicious intent. Proof being their red eyes. You know who else has red eyes? Vanny...
- hate the watch. Why are we giving kids the ability to see the cameras.
- the sun animitonic and the moon animitonic. I think their in the books but I've heard Sunrise and Moondrop be thrown around idk.
-hate the "s.t.a.f.f. only" with Vanny. They're really punching that in huh.
- also the ending this is definitely glitch trap (*sigh*) and it's book glitch trap. The big one. The really big one. The "amalgamation".
Probably gonna add more if I feel like it but idk. I've been playing help wanted for the past week and I'm like 85% done!!

Okay......I think have pieces of the the AU's plot down. Again, keep in mind I’ve barely scratched the surface of lore (I mean...I know stuff, but not everything) and also some of it I just straight up won’t use in the AU because canon is confusing and I’m just here to have fun.
But here’s the general plot:
It has Mike, alive and human. He did end up being nearly killed back during the incident, but by some miracle he survived with a head injury and severe paranoia. His brother even ended up somewhat nicer to him, though he ended up running away from home and not coming back before Mike hit thirteen. Their father, however, only grew colder, and barely acknowledged Mike as he was growing up.
While Mike recovered....about as well as one could in that situation, he ended up with a deep seated fear of the Fazbear franchise and also no knowledge of his father's murders. All he knows is that one day, cops showed up to their home saying that William Afton was dead due to some kind of accident at work and that was about it.
Cut to years down the line when Mike is an adult, returning to his old hometown after a failed marriage and no job. He drives by the old pizzeria where he nearly lost his life (and maybe where William lost his, but I don't know if it's the same place. Maybe it will be in this AU), with a Help Wanted sign in the window. He continues driving past at first, but eventually turns around and applies. He's an adult now, and maybe it's time to try and face his fears. Besides, he hears that the animatronics have long since been replaced with smaller ones, due to that very incident he was a part of. He's flattered?
In any case, he starts his first shift. However, it's not until he hears the instructions left by the last guard (who is probably still alive, he just quit), telling him about how the animatronics move around during the night and get a bit....playful? Oh, good. Wonderful. Mike is so glad he's hearing about this DURING his shift instead of before. That'll DEFINITELY help with his paranoia. But he sticks it out, and doesn't really see hide or hair of the animatronics moving about, aside from the occasional glimpse on the monitors.
It's about night three when one of them manages to get in the office, and it's Freddy. He's not very big, and Mike KNOWS he probably can't do much damage, but he's suddenly freaking out when the bear's right on top of him, getting flashbacks to his bite and nearly in panicked tears as he's trying to pull the bear off. He tosses him across the office and gently bounces off the wall, before sinking against the opposite wall and begging for it not to happen again. It was a mistake to come back after the last time, he thought he wasn't afraid anymore... (Poor guy) Freddy, instead of attacking him, gently toddles over to him and says "Mikey?" curiously and innocently, in the voice of one of Mike's childhood friends. That stops Mike's tears dead in his tracks. He hasn't heard that voice in years, not...not since some time after the incident.
The more Mike thinks about it, the more he realized how many of his friends disappeared around that time. The parents didn't tell him anything about what had happened, he had just been a kid trying to recover from a bad injury, surely more bad news (especially news regarding the pizza place) would've made recovery harder.
In any case, Mike stares at the little bear and asks him to say his name again. It does, in the same voice, much more familiar to him than before. There's no denying that it's the voice of his friend (I can't remember which kid possesses Freddy but it's that one). Of course, Mike has a million questions. Like "What?" and "How?" and "I have to be dreaming. This is a nightmare brought on by paranoia and fear, I can't be talking to a teddy bear that sounds like one of my best friends from childhood who randomly disappeared one day." But it's real, and so is Freddy. He doesn't remember anything except Mike's name, and what he was told by his parents about the incident. That Mikey got hurt real badly and couldn't play for a long time, according to his father.
Of course, that only confuses Michael further and he just starts pacing the office, trying to make sense of everything, and completely forgetting to check the other cameras. So all the other little baby animatronics (Golden Freddy included) come pouring in, but Freddy stops them from attacking because "that's Mikey, we can't hurt Mikey!". All the others are confused, and start talking over each other and asking "Mikey? Mikey's here?" curiously, which only further stresses Mike out because oh, wonderful, they ALL sound like his childhood friends. This is just WONDERFUL for his paranoia and mental state.
But he does eventually...not calm down, but stop pacing and at least try and talk to them, or let them talk to HIM. He's not entirely sure if this is all real or not, but he's calming down. He's okay. They're not attacking, and that's okay. He's okay. He does further confirm their identities by asking for their actual names, but none of them can really remember those names. Which could've very well debunked Mike's theory, but at the same time, they know his name. They remember HIM. So how...just how? What happened to them? One of them, Bonnie, mentions how they remember him not leaving the house much while he was in recovery. Or how his father wouldn't let them come visit. Which is....odd to Mike. After the incident, his father never showed much interest in him. So why would he bother to keep visitors away?
Chica pops up with how they had invited him to one of their parties at the pizzeria back when they were younger, but while his father had declined the offer for Mike, he had promised to bring a gift since he had been scheduled to work that day. But none of them can remember anything after that day, actually. In fact, the last thing they DO remember is seeing Mr. Afton. This raises some red flags in Mike's mind, and he tries to question them further, but 6am hits and they scamper back to the stage, leaving Mike with a head full of questions.
In any case, Mike ends his shift and hurries home to do some research on his father, and the pizzeria. Turns out surprised, dad was a child murderer! who had not only tried to murder his own son, but played a hand in his daughter's murder, AND murdered plenty of other kids, including his five friends! And not only that, he played a hand in designing the animatronics who attacked his kids, in the hopes of using them to do the same thing again and again!
Mike....is tired. Tired, stressed, confused, ANGRY at his father. Feeling pity for his friends who are now apparently trapped in tiny animatronic bodies, forced to perform and attack. Exhaustion over returning to his hometown to start over but he's right back to having to deal with fears he thought he had conquered ages ago, and not only that, dealing with the realization at just how bad his father was, and how others weren't as ''''lucky'''' as him when it came to that damn pizzeria.
He stops. Lets himself think. Gets some sleep. He could always pack up and leave town again. Start over somewhere completely new.
But he thinks. And he thinks. And he realizes...he has the chance to start over. He's ALIVE. He has that chance. They don't have any chance, not stuck in that pizzeria.
So Mike decides to return. He not only returns, he takes all of them home with them. Determined to at least give them a CHANCE, even if they're stuck as little animatronic animals, to be happy. To have a new life, to at least LIVE as best as they can. And not only that, he finds out that his father's blood trail carries over to other parts of the franchise. He's not only going to give his friends a chance, he's going to give them all chances. His sisters, the other victims, himself... They're all going to get a chance to heal, to LIVE.
Except his father. He's taking that bastard down.
Maybe at some point he meets up with his brother and/or Henry during the AU (I know I want Mike to give him the Puppet because of course), but I'll work on that part. In any case, Mike gets a big family full of little chaotic animatronic animals and a chance to properly start his life over. By stealing from pizzerias and beating up his dad’s ghost! The dream!
