Just realised, I probably spent more time near Odysseus on his odyssey than Athena, even if he never realised it.

For a bit secretly convinces his men to open the windbag.

Then, helped him get through the Underworld without getting lost.

And finding him trapped on Calypso's island until he opened the windbag a second time.

So, it's almost 4 years and a month, I think

I don't think people realize how powerful the notion is that Odysseus rejected immortality from Calypso and what that says about his character and the love for his wife and son.

Odysseus had been to the underworld! He KNOWS what awaits him after death! He has seen those souls wandering about in the dark sometimes even forgotten by people above. He has even spoken with Achilles who told him that he'd rather be the last servant and unimportant and alive than king in the underworld. The proud ACHILLES told him he'd rather be a beggar than dead! Showing indeed Odysseus what it means. Even Eurylochus spewed some facts when he said that "all mortals avert death because it is so scary to them"

Odysseus is not just scared of death. HE KNOWS how it looks like! And despite the fact he is no longer young and in a dangerous situation and knowing what dying looks like he STILL rejected Calypso and immortality just to go back to his wife and child and home!

I never paid much attention to the floating souls in the Underworld. I thought they drifted around freely, but it appears that they only spawn around Sora and will follow him around the room.

Just like Hades fell in love with Persephone, whose name means ‘bringer of destruction’, Nico di Angelo fell in love with Perseus, whose name means ‘destroyer’.

Nico casually brought up Persephone’s garden in conversation with Apollo and Meg and Meg instantly became curious and so she started begging Nico and Apollo to take her.

So off Nico, Will, Apollo and Meg go into the underworld to visit Persephone’s garden. Persephone finds Meg adorable and insists on taking Meg everywhere and showing her everything.

So this'll probably sound kinda weird but sorta underworld themed mood board? Like Greek underworld with Hades and Persephone. For example being a little kid in the palace, a sort of gentle but spooky, vintage, royalty childhood. Also masc-neutral please, ranges from about 4-7. Thank you!
