Managed to squeeze in a third today! Genuinely surprised I was able to but hey, my mind was ready!

so here's the question: when was it crafted? while she was pregnant? in the leadup to the proving? after the child's birth?

We know Teersa crafted a lantern for Aloy, which could indicate that if for some reason the mother cannot do it a matriarch will take on the task. Which, I can see that. They're supposed to be the mothers of the tribe and all.

And as a High Matriarch, permitted inside the sacred cave, Teersa might have felt as though she was crafting the lantern for the sake of All-Mother, who of course has no mortal hands with which to craft.

I really am curious, though, since we already know of at least one character with a dead mother. What happens when it's Arana's turn to run the Proving? Will it be Thok who crafts the lantern, or one of Arana's grandmothers, should they still be alive? What about kids orphaned by the red raids?

Looking south from the overlook near the Northern Embrace Gate, the snow capped mountains in the distance, Mothers Cradle nestled in the valley below, her defensive towers marking the borders of the village. To the east out into the Nora hunting lands the ominous sound of machines breaking the otherwise peaceful valley.

The Embrace (also referred to as All-Mother's Embrace) is a small valley located in the southwestern section of the Nora Sacred Lands in Horizon Zero Dawn. It is a protected region where much of the tribe’s population resides. The Embrace's perimeter is defined by three gates: the North, South, and Main Embrace Gates. The Searcher's Course River is the primary waterway that flows through the region.

At the heart of the Embrace lies All-Mother Mountain, situated along a mountain ridge in the southwest. This mountain, along with the nearby village of Mother's Watch, serves as the religious centre of the Nora tribe and is home to the matriarchs. The mountain is regarded as the physical embodiment of the Nora's deity, All-Mother, and the surrounding land is considered sacred, encompassed within the embrace of the All-Mother. #gaming #ambience #horizonzerodawn

The giant sandstone outcroppings that form the walls of Red Rocks Amphitheatre are higher than Niagara Falls and are part of the geological Fountain Formation, deposited approximately 280 million years ago. Believe it or not, the Rolling Stones weren't around yet, and, in fact, Red Rocks didn't get its start as a music venue until the early 1900s, when Renaissance man John Brisben Walker set up a makeshift stage among the rocks. A famous opera singer came to perform and declared it “acoustically perfect,” and it’s been revered by musicians ever since.
