I watched Beastars s2 last week and was reminded of years ago when I drew some of the members of the Five Leaves as animals :3 I'm busy with other stuff, but still had to doodle Dog Masa and Raven Matsu. It's a quickie and I'm still not great at it, but it was fun hahah

Looks like I'll be getting a slovakian wirehaired pointer and a scotch collie then. Both breeds already on my "want to own" list so that's fine by me.

NuxiDoggo with some orphan puppers (tried to do the NPC Kiddos) for the ‘International Dog Day’ Art Mission. Would have liked more time to work on the designs but hey, time constraints.

Nuxi meant to be a Large Munsterlander of some sort— for kiddos, are quite an assortment lol.

So I looked into more types of similar dogs, because Springers look a bit too... droopy? to be Jammer. But I did find another option. Munsterlanders!

Here's one I found on Google who's face looks just like Jammer's (other than the pattern and colors), like, check out this side by side

His tail isn't in the picture but it curved a bit, like that first full body

(I'm trying to figure this out because eventually, I'd like to try and get another dog like Jammer. Probably won't be for years down the line, but I might as well start researching early. And what I'm seeing for information on Munsterlander temperament, Jammer was pretty typical, which is great.)

While I’ve heard Munsterlanders are great dogs, they are rare in most parts of the world and rescuing one, even a mixed breed one would be unlikely (but it could be possible though!)

My mind still goes to potential Springer or Springer mix, and keep in mind there’s a huge split between field and show versions of them. And it’s possible he’s a Brittany mix too! But unless he was a French Brittany (they are also uncommon but less so than Munsterlanders), they don’t come in that color though so he would definitely be a mix of some kind. Here’s some field springers and some French Brittany’s for comparison to see how it matches how you remember him
