have you ever tried this one ?! - 3rd years
in which you remember the song 'juno' and start to perform in your bedroom. forgetting you invited someone over.
author's note: (not edited, just thoughts) i promise, im trying to churn the fics. but hehe... i got the idea from my brainrot of crowley bringing your world's music to you.
content: can be read platonic/romantic (leaning on romantic), gn! reader, suggestive (its juno positions, what did u expect ?!)
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
As you stay in the privacy of your own room, you remember the old playlist Crowley gave you. You roll your eyes, out the of the many ways Crowley can help... He brings you music? He stresses that "It is a good way to connect with your home! And, who knows, this is a key to get you back?"
He said that and still insists he can't find a way. However, one step closer, right? You sigh and look at the limited music that was summoned. Looking at the music choices, you laugh as you saw "Juno." You decide to chime in and remember how you performed it back in your own privacy.
"Have you ever tried this one?" You say in a very flirty tone as you strike a pose, similar to what Sabrina would do in her tour. Mortified, you saw someone at the door.
trey clover
being confident in your own privacy, you dance and be as sensual as you want. usually, you wouldn't. but hey, a bit fun never killed anyone? plus, the position you pulled was fairly tame. it was just you pushing your butt a bit more out there, which may have shown something...
you gasp as you realize trey was there, standing, mortified and red. he looked shocked as the song in the background still played. it came to the part where Sabrina declares she was "so fucking horny." you were still in that specific pose before you stood up apologizing. trey coughed and shook his head, trying to shake off the image of you being that sensual.
"the look in their eyes, oh sevens. and the way that pose with uh.." trey's thoughts grow frantic as he apologized and tried to close the door
"prefect! i'm so sorry! let me just... next time, maybe lock the door? that was.. quite the show." you can basically hear the smirk.
cater diamond
cater was vlogging on the way to the dorm and to your room. he was hearing how you sang from the hall, he was excited to catch you off guard with a video. he giggled at his plan and barged in, but as he barged in, you were posing with that flirty tone cooing out of your mouth.
he nearly dropped his phone and his mouth was agape. your pose was so perfectly tame and lewd, he couldn't help but loose some air. cater tried to cover his eyes and try to laugh it off
"dear sevens, not now. don't let my imagination do the rest!" cater begs in his mind as he tried to grab his phone and shuffle out the door.
"nice voice though, bestie! uhm... maybe learn to lock things? that wasn't really... uhm. ah! let me just edit this, don't worry i won't post it!"
leona kingscholar
leona was annoyed how he had to get out of his nap. however, your dorm was oddly very comfortable, and you invited him over. it won't hurt, right? he stalks the halls, annoyed how you didn't bother to see if he arrived.
hearing your footsteps, he heard some tunes and decided to open the door to your room. leona was about to complain when you both were caught in a stare down of a very explicit pose. you were quiet and tried to make yourself decent before
*slam* leona closed the door. he was appalled and a bit too invested in the pose you just did. his tail was swishing around and he tried to avoid the heat building up, "what a show" he thought
"if you're gonna invite me to do that, wine and dine me first, herbivore. as a prince, i expect better" he teased
vil schoenheit
vil was expecting that you'd remember his promise of pampering. as vil walked to your room, he was wondering why you haven't noticed the way he nagging. vil made sure his voice was heard.
imagine his horror when he bursts the door open and see such a vulgar display of yourself towards him, though he did have to give where credit is due. you performed well and... got the reaction you wanted.
"hmm. not bad, that did get a reaction from me. ah, i got bested once more" vil thought as you scramble to be more decent, vil's glare causing you to hurry up. but that didn't stop the song to continue playing.
"horny? potato, what are these songs? hm, but your performance... i have some strong words" vil said as he listened in, you blush and turned it off.
rook hunt
let's be honest, he was watching the whole performance. your invitation was just a signal of when he will arrive at your door. he notes each note and decided to watch the spectacular performance up close.
as rook bursts through your door, he was blushing at the fact he realized that the innuendos were becoming serious. he was shocked to see you in such a pose. but that pose!
"ah, such perfect angles. if only i could've captured this moment, what a waste!" he thinks as he tries to take in the view of your pose.
"ah! my dear prefect! what a show! and that pose, such grace and vulgarity! and what's this? you are willing to try it?" rook said with so much enthusiasm. you glare.
idia shroud
he was honestly just about to ask something but that question died when he entered the room. he was floored when all you did was something not even his idols would dare to do.
idia didn't know what to do but panic and yelp as you try to calm him down in case he'd faint (he was close to doing so). your pose was now ingrained in his mind, he can't remove how your eyes and...
"oh sevens! oh sevens! that was so?!! oh im... is it obvious?!" idia panics as he pulls down his hoodie before overheating and tripping to the door.
"stupid... you should've locked the door. now i forgot why am i even here and-" idia tried to push his hoodie and hide somewhere
malleus draconia
he was excited to see you as he heard how you were singing and performing, he found the first lyrics odd, but he was strolling with ease. malleus just wanted to check up on you, and the shock he felt when you were posing
at first, he tried to be reasonable. but as his ears cannot deceive him, and his eyes too. he was shocked and speechless and the way you were displayed. you gasp and realize you nearly flashed the strongest one among the student body.
"how do i tell my child of man the implications of their words and actions?" malleus worries as he felt the blush creep in at the awkward situation they were in. he coughed and offered some space as he stood in front of the door
"does that mean... no. but ah, i can't have such feelings just yet. what enchantment has my dear done?" malleus said embarrassed.
lilia vanrouge
lilia was like rook, he saw it from a mile away. however, unlike rook, he was willing to not barge in. lilia calmly stalked you and appeared upside by your door. however, he was shocked and nearly fell at the display.
that pose and flirty tone was enough to cause such scandals. you yelp and try to stand up as quick as you can as lilia giggled at the notion. he went down on the ground and tried to calm your frantic explanations, humming alongside the song. he found it good.
"oh! that is quite a display. hmm, do they know how scandalous they are being right now? and quite the nice melody over something so raunchy." lilia giggled as he smirked as the song played on.
"quite the scandal, dear. keep the door locked next time, fufufufu~ though, i must say, the song is quite a treat. i would love to learn it on my guitar, i can hear that guitar solo after~"

Saw you were asking for twst requests…
Can I request the dorm leaders + Rook and Floyd reaction when mc/Yuu turns into a goose? I was thinking something like mc/Yuu turned into a goose from a potion class accident, and they act like the goose from Untitled Goose Game, but cuddlier. Like they are still a little menace, but also want to be pet and cuddled. Idk just have had this idea for a while but don’t really write fics or headcannons.
If you don’t want to do this request I completely understand as it is a bit odd. I hope you have a great day/night!
P.S.
here’s a turtle for u 🐢
Would you still love me if I was a goose? 🪿
Tumblr media
Sypnopsis - how the Twst dorm leaders + Rook and Floyd would act if Y/n became a goose.
Warnings - destruction of property, miscommunication, swan favoritism, not fully edited (I'm writing this late at night)
A/n - this was so adorable poor Twst boys having to deal with y/n lol!
Leona
Would not stop making fun of you. How could you be so stupid as to mistake that potion for your water? Now you're a goose for 24 hours. He can not stop cracking up as Crewel removes him from class. He’s given the assignment to take care of you. Animals other than beastmen aren’t normal around campus someone like Ruggie might just try to cook you up.
After he tells you this you honk in fear trailing behind him. “Let’s go to your dorm some beastmen might smell you and try to dig in,” he laughs. You bite his tail in retaliation and he slaps you with it knocking your small body on the ground. “Sorry, I didn’t realize how fragile geese are.” He picked you up by the wing to examine you.
Your hair was still the same color and despite having no human features he could still see your scowl. “Cute as always he chuckled.
Riddle
Was awe-struck as Ace and Deuce told him the story. But he was even more awestruck at your behavior. Dating him meant following the rules but your new form brought out a new you. One that terrorized anyone in the rose garden. Your behavior of biting, honking, and chasing members away caught his attention.
“What is the meaning of this behavior,” he yelled. You honked back running away from him. He followed you as you shifted through bushes to your usual hangout spot. “Oh I see you just wanted to lead me here,” he grinned.
“Even in goose form, you’re the same.”
Vil
Would come home to find his dorm room a mess. Most of his makeup was half opened and he almost died in that spot seeing his flower knows collection spattered about. “Who would do something like this,” he gasped.
He turned to see you hiding in a corner of his bed behind his weight. He picked you up by your legs dangling you upside down. You honked at him so loudly that the hair blew away from his face.
“What’s the problem spudling you keep wailing about?” You honked turning your head to his nightstand. Vil looked dropping you on his bed. “I do makeup,” he stuttered. “Oh, you want to do my makeup?”
“You still have your priorities straight even in goose form I see.”
Azul
“You’re staying in here until you can stop harassing my customers.” Azul slammed the door to his office locking you in. The mostro lounge was an absolute mess and as much as he loved your presence normally you oh were now bad for business.
Jade and Floyd had to chase you and you were an expert at hopping over tables and into customers food. Such a wide variety was in your hands you ate squid and caviar. It was yummy until they finally caught you. “You’re lucky we don’t cook you up geese meat is hard to come by,” Azul smirked.
You wailed around trying to escape his grasp but he ultimately caught you. Now you waited in his office hopping and flying off his desk. “I’m back.” He came in his office kicking off his shoes and sitting in his office chair exhausted as usual.
You honked as quietly as possible trying to get his attention before you flew into his lap. Your head settled on your body as you relaxed.
“You still want to sit in my lap even in goose form? God you helpless,” he huffed.
Kalim
Would be understanding. Animals and him just clicked he shared no blood with beastmen yet they were always friendly to him. People side-eyed the both of you running along Scarabia’s open architecture.
You played the iconic game of duck duck goose. This new form wasn’t anywhere as limiting as you thought. Your boyfriend took good care of you bringing you were ever you requested and feeding you bird food they already had on hand.
At the end of the day, you honked happily snuggling with him. “Aww was that a I love you,” he asked.
Rook
The day with him would be a content one. He kept you in his room hidden away from Vil and others that may be upset with you there. Geese aren’t exactly a form of beauty they aren’t white and pure like swan. But Rook didn’t care to him you were the most beautiful bird to grace the planet.
That's why he watched you like the huntsman he was. He noted how your mannerisms stayed the same. Your head moved although you were rolling your eyes as he whispered sweet nothings to you. And you plopped down on his chest like normal.
“I’m sure you’d be beautiful even as a frog darling. But I don’t think that can compare to this form.”
Floyd
This would be the best day of his life. He just couldn’t stay bored while dating you. Now instead of his lil Shrimpy you’re a goose. One that looked dangerously small in his large hands.
He was tasked with watching you meaning you had to go with practice and work with him. You tried your best to sit on the sidelines but people were quick to almost trample over you. So you bit their legs. Eventually, the others protested over your presence and agreed to kick you out.
You honked them out and flipped them off with your imaginary hand. “Y’all heard them,” Floyd chuckles. Obviously, he wouldn’t be able to bring you to work. That was boring anyway he had better ideas.
“How about we test your swimming skills, lil ducky?” You honked instantly trying to escape his arms.
Idia
Would be in full-on panic mode. You an animal near his thousand-dollar equipment. You could kiss that dream goodbye. Ramshackle would be your habitat. He dropped you off there saying he had a 1v1 to handle with a sweat. He rushed back quickly not noticing you wailing behind him.
Soon he was in Ignihyde preparing for his match. “Ortho prepare your applause,” he snickered. He turned to look at his doorway expecting his brother but no you were there tiny in fracture but bold enough to disturb his peace.
“Ahhh how are you even more annoying as a peaceful animal troublemaker,” he sighed.
(I had no idea what I could’ve done for malleus sorry 😶)

Please may I request the dorm leaders reaction to Y/n running all over Campus delivering presents to their friends and boyfriend before they leave for the holiday break
This is super late. I’m sorry!
Reader is not Yuu, but is a part of Ramshackle. Gender-neutral reader.
Tumblr media
Riddle Rosehearts
He was packing his things, already hating the fact that he had to leave NRC just to visit his mother. He was not looking forward to it, especially when he had to leave behind his dearest rose. That was the part he was loathing the most.
He heard the doorbell ring, and he was wondering who on Earth it could be. When he opened it, he let out a sigh of breath that he didn’t even know he was holding in. His rose came to see him before they left! Ramshackle had the privilege of leaving first out of all the dorms.
He invited you inside, only for you to refuse by saying you had to leave to give the others their gift. You placed a box of mini strawberry tarts into his hand before placing a gentle kiss on his lips and leaving to chase Ace and Deuce. His face was so red as a dopey grin was making its way to his face.
Tumblr media
Leona Kingscholar
He didn’t need to pack a lot of things because he still had most of his stuff back in his palace. What he wouldn’t have was his significant other. He already loathed going home, but since you wouldn’t be there he really did not want to.
He heard his door open. He turned around and it was you, who looked like you were out of breath. You eventually got it out that you had to leave soon but you needed to drop off his gift. You quickly handed him a gift bag before placing a kiss on his lips and leaving.
He opened the bag and saw that it was your favorite sweater, and you hadn’t washed it yet. That meant that it still smelled like you. Sure, this ‘vacation’ was going to absolutely suck, but this would make it suck less.
Tumblr media
Azul Ashengrotto
The Coral Sea would’ve been frozen over by now, so he wasn’t going home. It would be difficult to swim with a bunch of tentacles while dodging glaciers. What he hated was that you wouldn’t be there with him because you were heading home.
He heard the Mostro Lounge door open and was about to greet the person like it was any other person until he saw that it was you. He rushed over because you were doubled over, trying to catch your breath. Through gasps of air, you somehow managed to tell him that you had to leave but you gave him a box, a kiss, and yelled bye as you left.
He opened the box to see a few photos of the two of you. One of them was of him and you just in the moment on your date to a local park. There was a note on the back of the photo, saying ‘I figured you would miss me, so I printed these out for you! Love you! -Y/N’. He could’ve died a happy cecaelia right then and there.
Tumblr media
Kalim Al-Asim
He also didn’t go home because he was busy training his dormitory because they came last in the Spelldrive tournament. He was sad though, since you wouldn’t be there with him. He would miss you soooo much, Y/N!
All of a sudden, as he was pouting in his room, he heard your voice call out his name. He had never run so fast before, and he nearly tackled you into a hug. You managed to catch yourself before quickly pressing a kiss to his lips and making your way back out the door. Kalim was so surprised that he didn’t even notice you pushing a gift into his arms.
He opened it and saw that it was a nicely decorated headband with a bow for him, kind of like the ones he wore. It was also in your favorite color! You knew just how to make him feel better, didn’t you! On the days you are gone, he always wears the headband. He even makes sure to match his outfits to it!
Tumblr media
Vil Schoenheit
He had to go home because his modeling agency needed him to do a winter photoshoot. He was a bit annoyed, but he understood that it was around this time that companies made the most amount of money. He just wished he could be doing it with you.
He was disrupted from his thoughts when he heard a knock on his door and saw you out of breath. What a delightful surprise! He walked over to you and had you breathe with him before you told him that you had to go soon. You gave him a box before giving him an air kiss (you didn’t want to ruin his makeup) and leaving.
He went and took a seat at his vanity and opened up the box to find a few different essential oils that are typically used for relaxing. You really did care about his well being, didn’t you? Oh, how precious of you, dearest potato.
Tumblr media
Idia Shroud
He had to go home as well, so he was packing the essentials (a few of his video games, some equipment and tools for Ortho, etc.) that he might need. He was very close to going into a depressive episode because he wouldn’t have his emotional support Y/N.
He was interrupted when he heard his door open and huffing. He turned around and saw you, and he ran into your arms. You, after panting for a bit, told him that you had to go but you were here to give him a gift. You quickly handed it to him, gave him a kiss, and ran back out the door.
His hands were shaking when he processed the fact that you gave him a kiss, then he gently opened up the gift. It was a plushie version of his favorite anime (which was the one where you fell asleep on his chest while watching). The ends of his hair went bright pink as he remembered that lovely night.
Tumblr media
Malleus Draconia
He was saddened that you wouldn’t come with him to Briar Valley, as he very much wanted to introduce his future spouse to his grandmother. However, your family must want to see you, if not your friends from your homeland.
He heard a knock on his door and he was very happy to see that it was you. Perhaps you have changed your mind? No, you were just here to drop off a gift. You gently handed it to him and placed a kiss on his lips before you said your goodbye and left to try and find Lilia to give him his gift.
He opened up the box and found that it was a picture in a gold frame. It was of the two of you, in the style of a royal family portrait. What was different from typical portraits you might find in castles was that you two were looking at each other with the love you had for each other in your eyes. Malleus let a small smile on his face before placing it on his desk.

Celebrating White Day with the Dorm Leaders?
{YES i love this algihalie- i wanted to get it done today since it's white day- i hope it came out ok for you anon!! i wrote it as if reader gave them something for valentine's day}
Tumblr media
Riddle Rosehearts
Riddle had been trying to figure out what to get you for the entire month between valentine's and white day
he knew your favorite sweets and snacks, but what if you didn't like them anymore, or if you preferred to get a stuffed animal or-
Trey and Cater helped calm him down, Cater directing him to your Magicam account to show off some of your recent favorite things
he ended up getting you a few things and made them into a gift box; your favorite snacks and sweets, a small mouse plush, and some home-made chocolates Trey had helped him with
he nervously approached you after your last class, gift box in hand; he fumbled out a confession before shoving the box into your hands, face bright red as he waited for your response
Tumblr media
Leona Kingscholar
Leona was usually pretty confident in his ability to read you, but recently he'd been second-guessing himself
what if you'd just given him chocolates on valentine's because you felt like you had to?
then again, you'd been spending more and more time with him since then as well
he decided to throw caution to the wind and go all in, inviting you out to a movie date in his dorm on white day
he also managed to snag a few of your favorite chocolates, and while they weren't home made he hoped that your love of them would make them just as good
Tumblr media
Azul Ashengrotto
Azul’s initial thought was to just let you pick something off the menu at the lounge for free
that felt too impersonal, though, and like he would be disrespecting your feelings for him
instead, he decided to spend the week leading up to white day learning how to make chocolate
his mother's pastry chef had been more than happy to help, helping the octomer learn how to temper and shape the chocolate to his liking
when white day came, he approached you before classes and handed you the small chocolate box, containing a large octopus sculpted from your favorite type of chocolate, holding a little card asking you on a date
Tumblr media
Kalim Al-Asim
Kalim had been so excited about white day, begging Jamil to let him throw an entire party for you
when Jamil refused, he instead asked for baking lessons so he could make you something special
between Jamil and Trey, they managed to help the eccentric dorm leader make a single good version of your favorite sweet
he proudly approached you the morning before classes on white day, hands outstretched to give you the box
"I made this just for you! So, will you accept my feelings?" he asked cheerfully, grinning widely at your blushing face
Tumblr media
Vil Schoenheit
Vil wasn't sure if his best options was to spoil and drown you with gifts or to go simple
he figured going simple would be a bit more meaningful, so he asked Rook to collect information on your current likes and dislikes
once he had them listed, he started to put together a small gift box of some of the items
he'd managed to put together an impressive gift, including tickets to a show you'd been wanting to see
he handed you the bag on white day, smiling as you opened the gift and stuttered out an awed 'thank you', his smile turning to a grin when you asked him to go to the show with you
Tumblr media
Idia Shroud
Idia had zero idea what to do for you for white day; he'd never really thought about having a partner on white day before
he ended up binging a bunch of otome games, to see what the characters got for each other
he nervously started to collect a bunch of ideas, organizing them to the best of his ability
eventually he decided on getting you a game you'd been begging him to play with you
he nervously presented it to you, gasping in surprise when you hugged him tightly and thanked him repeatedly
Tumblr media
Malleus Draconia
Malleus had so, so many ideas; Lilia and Sebek had to physically restrain him from buying anything he saw that you might like
he wanted his first white day present to you to be impressive and as perfect as possible, after all
he eventually was persuaded to just get two or three things and write a heartfelt note
he'd managed to get a first-edition copy of one of your favorite novels, using that as the base for his other gifts
he handed you the small package after classes, smiling as you thanked him with wide eyes

Worthy of Being His
whoaaa lune is multi fandom now! That’s right folks, @yanderebloodlust got me into Twisted Wonderland, and now I’m in too deep. This is also a thank you for a gift they gave me, haha.
It’s Yandere! Vil Schoenheit/Reader! I had a lot of fun with this one, but BOY, did I go overboard
Word Count: 5k
Warnings: yandere, emotional abusive behavior, stalking, kidnapping, probably inappropriate uses of curses
Also, Read on AO3!
It started with lip balm. He had noticed how it was left on the table, picking it up after he had gotten up to get himself some water. Vil wasn’t the type to be eating after a certain time of night, but sometimes even he too woke up with a dry throat. It probably wasn’t something he should’ve noticed, it sort of just… Stood out. It wasn’t his brand, so what was it doing here? He had already given everyone what they were supposed to use.
Of course, his answer would come soon enough, as you bounded down the stairs, looking around wildly, only to brighten up when you saw your precious lip balm in Vil’s hands, jogging on over to him.
“Ah, thank god you found it! I was tearing apart my room for it. Can I have it back?” You asked, looking up at him. He was shorter than he usually was, those thirteen centimeter heels really giving him a boost, but he was still a lot larger than you would’ve expected. Aren’t pretty boys supposed to be on the shorter side?
“Lip balm? Shouldn’t you be asleep, why are you worrying about this?” Vil’s voice was so sharp, to the point where you wanted to cower. You swallowed, looking away and letting out a nervous laugh. His presence was always so imposing, commanding respect that you wanted nothing more but to run away.
“Ah, well, I was reading over some of my notes for magical history, so I stayed up. When I was finally getting ready for bed, I realized my lip balm wasn’t anywhere to be found. I put it on every night before bed. I had to clear out all the stuff I usually just keep in the bathroom since you all are here, so I just misplaced it..” You told him, finding yourself unable to meet Vil’s eyes, instead just looking at the ground. Why was this feeling more like an interrogation than a normal conversation? Vil just paused, looking over the container, reading it. It was just some cheap, drugstore lip balm. Nothing like his products, but it was something. He never expected that out of all the people here, you would be the only one who at least paid SOME attention to that sort of thing.
“Why use this? If you need something, you could’ve just asked. I can get you some of my lip cream, I have more than enough. This must have only cost two hundred madol, and probably only works that well.” He replied. You laughed a bit, shaking your head.
“It was one hundred fifty, actually. But I can’t accept it. That lip balm is important to me.” You said. Vil raised an eyebrow, as if shocked you would dare to tell him no, before you quickly tried to explain yourself. “I-It’s not like I’m rejecting your kindness, I just… I earned that. I bought it with some money I earned after helping out at Monstro Lounge.” You told him. Vil scoffed at that, crossing his arms.
“You actually work at that place? I thought you would be a classier person than that.” He scolded. You held back a small sound of fear that you wanted to let out.
“I mean, I’m not a regular employee or anything! They were just busy, and I uh… Well, money is money. The Headmaster gets me what I need, but I really don’t need much. I have clothes and shoes and notebooks, but that lip balm… That’s something that’s entirely mine, not just a uniform and notes everyone else takes. Does that make any sense?” You told him. Vil paused for a moment, before dropping your lip balm into your hands.
“No.” He said flatly, before walking off. Suddenly he wasn’t so thirsty. “Get to bed. We have practice early tomorrow, and I’m not going to tolerate it if you don’t get up in time.” He told you as he started to climb up the stairs. You looked down at your precious thing, holding it to your chest. Thank goodness, Vil had given it back. You watched as he walked up the stairs, going off to his room. Why was he like that?
The second incident was after the VDC, while you were walking to class after breakfast. Epel had joined you along with everyone that morning, since class 1-A and 1-B were having a joint session for alchemy.
“By the way, Prefect. You need to stop picking at your face, it’s going to burst open and then scar.” Epel told you, leaving you to immediately put your hand down. You couldn’t help it. Every time you spoke, you felt the pimple that had developed right under your lip.
“You should just pop it. It’ll get it all over with, and then you can wash it out.” Ace told you, leaving Deuce to shake his head.
“You learned nothing about your skincare training camp, did you?” He scolded Ace, leaving Ace to shrug.
“Come on, it can’t be that bad, can it? There’s whole Magicam accounts about pimple popping, you just need the right technique.” He said, before looking down at you with a mischievous grin. “Come on, Grim, hold them still. I’ll pop it right now.” He said, only for Epel to laugh as you stepped back, giggling all the while.
“I’m not letting you anywhere near my face! You probably didn’t even wash your hands!” You said, laughing as you started to jokingly run away from them, both Ace and Grim chasing after you.
“Come on, it’ll be easy! Like bursting a bubble!” Ace teased.
“You say that only after watching videos of it on Magicam! Epel would definitely be the expert, not you!” Grim told Ace, leaving you to laugh, you didn’t even notice he was there until you ran right into his chest.
“My my. Is this anyway to act in front of your Upperclassmen?” You looked up, only to see you had bumped right into Vil. You gasped, backing up a bit, but before you could get back to your respective personal space, Vil grabbed you by the chin, looking over the blemish on your face.
“Well, the Prefect’s dead.” You heard Ace behind you, and you just felt yourself go pale, averting your eyes. You never felt like you could meet his eyes.
“I… I’m sorry, Vil, we were just fooling around, I didn’t see you there…” You told him. Something about the way you spoke made Vil’s heart speed up, but he ignored it for now.
“It’s inflamed because you won’t leave it alone. What kind of cleanser do you use that allowed this to happen?” You said, before getting even more nervous.
“Uh… Just soap. But I try not to touch my face, so it uh, evens out, right?” You said, before Vil gave you what was possibly the most disgusted face you had ever seen.
“Is this… The example that you are giving? After all I’ve taught all of you, this is what you’re doing.” Vil said, letting you go.
“Hey, it’s not their fault! The Headmaster only gives them the bare minimum! Half the time, they’re taking in laundry just to buy new pens!” Grim complained. Vil raised an eyebrow, looked down at you, but you refused to meet anyone’s eyes.
“I… I have everything I need. I’m grateful for everything that I have now.” You said, turning away. You hated thinking about that, hated talking about that. It didn’t matter. You didn’t need anything here. You could survive off the bare minimum, bide your time until the Headmaster finally found you a way home. So, why did you feel your eyes watering? Vil just looked down at you, still holding onto you, until you finally pulled away when the bell rang.
“I’m going to be late. Excuse me.” You said, running off. Vil saw that Ace the others quickly came beside you, trying to comfort you, but you just shook them off, You didn’t need their comfort. And Vil watched you, remembering how he saw your eyes water. It shouldn’t bother him. He was used to making underclassmen cry at this point. But for some reason, he felt… Bad.
Later that day, you let yourself cry. You could long for home when you were alone. When you heard the doorbell ring, you almost wanted to just let them sit there, but you just wiped your eyes and went to the door. But when you opened it, no one was there, only a box with your name on it. You looked around, but you didn’t see anyone. When you opened it, you gasped, blinking a bit as you opened it up, only to find fancy skincare products in it. You gasped, looking around to try and find who gave it to you, mostly so you could give it back, but no one was there. Well… It would be a waste not to use it, right? You brought it inside, and let yourself enjoy the small luxury. The next day, Epel even commented on it.
“It does look a lot better than before. Just make sure it doesn’t get infected.” He told you. You just smiled.
“It’s all thanks to you. Please, you have to let me repay you somehow.” You told him, but he just raised an eyebrow.
“What do you mean?” He asked. You just laughed.
“You don’t need to play coy with me. I know you’re the one who left that box outside of my dorm. None of those idiots would ever actually remember what it is to treat this sort of thing.” You told him, but Epel just stared at you, bewildered.
“I didn’t leave any box for you, I promise.” He told you. You blinked, opening your mouth to respond, only to hear Epel get called out to by Rook.
“Ah, sorry, I have to go. I hope everything works out with you and your face.” He told you, grabbing his books and running off. You watched him leave, sitting and thinking to yourself. If it wasn’t Epel, then who could’ve…
You didn’t ever notice Vil around the corner, watching you, trying to force his heart to calm. He was disgusted, this was something he expected someone like Rook to be doing, and here he was. You were ugly, a potato, not worthy to even be looked at by him. And yet, he couldn’t look away.
The third incident left you laying your head over the textbooks as Deuce looked over your test.
“Wow. You did even worse than me. I didn’t think that was possible.” He said, leaving you to sigh.
“I know, I know. You don’t have to state the obvious. I really need to study this, or else…” You went pale, pulling yourself and staring down at your textbook.
“I’m surprised. Usually you do really well in school. Did something happen?” He asked. You sighed. You couldn’t just… Say what you felt, because it was stupid. You couldn’t just say that you felt like you were suddenly being watched by someone without proof you were actually being watched. It was stupid. You were stupid.
“I guess my mind was in other places. Don’t worry, I’ll just study hard, and then ace the makeup. I got this, really.” You told him. Deuce just sighed, giving you a worried look.
“Are you sure you don’t want me to sit and study with you?” He asked, but you just smiled, shaking your head.
“It’s not fair of me to keep you. I don’t mind if you go on, really. Besides, you only scored a few points higher than I did. Let’s face it, you probably are as clueless as I am right now.” You said, only for Deuce to wince.
“You’re blunt to the point of being unkind. Alright, but… Just text one of us if you need anything, alright?” He told you. You just smiled and nodded, watching as he walked off, before burying yourself back in your readings.
Maybe you should’ve accepted his help. Two hours in, and you felt like you had gotten nowhere, sitting and looking over the same words over and over again. God, what now? Maybe you could beg Deuce to try and make a joint study session with the two of you and Riddle? He always knew what he was doing in Alchemy. Ah, but you weren’t sure if you wanted to subject yourself to that sort of… Study techniques. You were so lost in thought on what to do, that you didn’t notice as he came up to your table?
“Not running through the walls today?” You looked up and saw Vil glaring down at you, immediately looking away. Maybe it was for the best that you didn’t look at Vil, for that way you didn’t notice the dark, strange look in his eyes.
“Ah, no. I’m in the middle of studying. I have a makeup test tomorrow.” You told him. Vil actually scoffed at that.
“A makeup test? You’re the Prefect for your dorm, you shouldn’t be having to take things like that. It’s shameful.” He scolded. You just let your nails dig into your palms. God, why was he always so mean to you? You tried to let it roll off your back, but with how stressed you were about this exam, it really wasn’t working.
“Well, it can’t be helped. I can’t do anything about it now, so I just need to study hard and do well tomorrow.” You said, looking down at your textbook, just staring at the pictures in hopes that it would drill something into your brain. Vil looked over your papers, before sitting down, grabbing one of your notebooks and looking it over. You gasped as you looked at him, how his eyes pored over your notes, before he sighed.
“Your first problem is that you take bad notes. You try to write down everything the book says, instead of figuring out what the meat of work is and going from there.” He told you, before grabbing your textbook right from under you. “Chapter 12, huh? Luckily for you, I got a perfect score on that test. As long as you promise to put in the effort, I can help you. But I’m not going to go easy on you either.” He told you. You blinked as you looked at him. Vil. Cruel, awful Vil, was going to help you. You couldn’t help but ask.
“W… Why are you-” But before you could finish your question, he answered it for you.
“Don’t think I’m doing this for you. Next year, if more students get sorted into Ramshackle Dorm, then you’ll officially be a dorm head. That means, your actions and behavior now reflect your dorm, and thus, the school as a whole. I won’t let your lack of effort be something that brings our school’s reputation down.” He was oh so good at lying too. He was so good at pretending that this wasn’t just an attempt to spend some time with you, that he wanted nothing more to bask in your presence. Why? Compared to him, you were nothing. Nothing but one of the hundreds of faces that he had seen. But ever since that night at the dorm, you wouldn’t leave his mind. This was all just something of a phase. Once he spent some time with you, it would wear off. But the way you looked at him, before smiling, was well…
“Well then, I’ll be in your care, Vil. I promise to do my best!” It was just too damn cute! He barely was able to keep his blush down at your words, before looking over the textbook and getting a vague outline of what it was he needed to go over with you.
And god, you were just so attentive to him when he spoke. You wrote down what he said, despite him already scolding you to paraphrase, but you asked earnest questions, and you did your best to try and understand. By the end of the evening, you were able to recite the contents of any potion he threw at you, leaving him to smile. Perhaps… Well, if you were able to put in the effort like this, then you too could be polished into something marvelous.
“Gosh, thank you Vil, really. This is the first time I’ve felt completely prepared for a test in a while. You really are a great teacher.” You told him, and he couldn’t help but bask in your praise. Why? He got praise from people like you all the time. So why did yours affect him so much?
“Well, we’ll see. Do tell me how you do on the exam tomorrow.” He said, standing up as he looked at the clock. “It’s late. I’ll walk you back to your dorm.” Vil told you, but you just shook your head, gasping as you saw the clock.
“God, Grim is probably worried sick! And the cafeteria is closed by now…” You sighed, before looking over at Vil as you packed up your things. “Don’t worry, I’ve kept you late as it is, with all my silly questions. When I get my test results, you’ll be the first person I go to! Is there anything I can do to repay you?” Maybe… He wasn’t as bad as you thought. Sure, his personality was poisonous, but he had a good heart underneath it all.
“Hmm… I’ll think about it. But yes, show me the results. We’ll see if you actually paid attention.” Vil said, smiling as you waved goodbye, running off back to your dorm. He held a hand to his chest, noticing that after everything, his heart did not slow. So this… This was the true thing. It was said that the curse of the princess in legends was broken by true love’s kiss. Was it possible that love could’ve…
“You’ll be mine. You’re the one who cursed me with this, you’ll have to take responsibility.”
The fourth incident was a week after the exam, when you got your results back. You grinned as you looked it over.
“Perfect marks. It seems even bad puppies can become obedient. You did a very good job, Prefect. You should be proud.” You smiled at Crewel’s words. When he had called you after class to “talk” about your makeup exam results, you expected the worst, not praise. But you weren’t going to throw it away.
“It’s all because I had an amazing teacher.” You told him, letting him preen under the misunderstanding. If he wanted to believe you meant him and not Vil, that was fine.
“Oh, you do know just what to say. Go on now, you’re released. I expect to see this level of achievement from now on.” He told you, leaving you to run off. You had to find Vil, you had to tell him just what you got. You even zipped past Ace and Grim, telling them that you would talk to them later. You just ran to the Pomefiore dorm, zipping past other students, before finally getting there. You saw Rook, taking a deep breath, before jogging over to him.
“Ah, La petite souris has come to visit us. What is it that you need today?” He asked, only to leave you to smile.
“Um, is Vil here? I have something I need to tell him about. It’s good news, don’t worry!” You smiled. Rook just gasped.
“Oh? Could it be about your makeup exam? How did you do?” He asked, leaning to look over at your paper. “Ah, toutes nos félicitations! He’ll be very proud of you.” Rook got up, but you just tilted your head to the side, blinking.
“How did you…” It seemed everyone was answering your questions before you could finish them.
“Vil told me about it. I like to know why my dorm head breaks his own self mandated curfews, after all.” He chuckled, before pointing you down the hall. “He should be in his room. You’ll know the door when you see it, trust me.” Rook smiled, and you couldn’t help but smile back. Something about his positivity was infectious.
“Ah, thank you! I’ll be seeing you!” You told him, running off down the hall as Rook watched, smiling to himself.
“Alors la souris va à la rencontre du chat.”
You really could tell when it was Vil’s door. It was decorated to really suit him. Normally, you would be scared to just knock on his door willy nilly, but this was a special occasion. So you knocked proudly, standing and waiting.
“God, what is it that you need that you couldn’t text me Roo-” Vil said, before his eyes landed on you. He stared down at you, wide eyed, before taking a deep breath, looking down at his phone to check himself over. Good, he was fine. “It’s… it’s just you. What is it?” He asked, only for you to grin and hold up your test.
“Look! I told you that you would be the first person I would come to, right?” You said, grinning as Vil looked over your test. Hmm.. You actually did very well. He smiled, before making a decision. Then, it was finally time. It was earlier than he planned, but you came to him. No one could fault him for that. “Well then, come in.” He told you, walking inside and expecting you to follow. His dorm was actually nice, well kept. You noticed some textbooks out, leaving you to gasp as you shut the door behind the two of you.
“Oh, did I disturb your studying? I’m sorry, I can go if you’d like.” You said, but he just motioned for you to sit, opening up a cabinet.
“You’re lucky. I just brought a pot of tea in here for my studying. It’s lemongrass, perfect for studying while keeping in good form.” He told you. You just smiled as you watched him pour the tea, but you were still quite concerned with looking over the room, admiring his silken sheets or beautiful curtains. Maybe if you had paid attention, you would’ve noticed him whispering out a spell, before handing you the teacup. You took a sip, before your eyes widened at Vil.
“Wow… This is really good! You’ll have to give me your source on the tea leaves, I’m so jealous.” You told him.
“Do you drink a lot of tea?” He asked. He was realizing that he really didn’t know a lot about you. He had been able to weasel information out of Epel after his obsession started, how you were from another world, unable to use or detect magic, but you were hardworking and occasionally weak willed to other people’s whims. You really were perfect.
“I used to be indifferent, but ever since I came here, I’ve ended up drinking a lot of it. I guess since a lot of my friends are in Heartslabyul, I just got accustomed to it. Riddle doesn’t let you off the hook if you aren’t a dorm member, haha.” You told him, taking another sip, unnoticing about how Vil clenched his fist. That was another emotion that you caused. Whenever he saw you with another student, even one of his own dorm members, there was something… Ugly that fluttered. Something that hated how you spoke to kindly to them, how you spent your precious time with them. Your time should only belong to him-
“I see. Well, certain teas supposedly can help you become more beautiful, according to some. I don’t believe in any of those diet teas though. There’s no shortcut to beauty, only hard work and perseverance.” He said, taking a sip of his own tea.
“Aha, yeah. That’s Vil for you. No one can ever say you don’t work hard.” You said. This was his chance. He smiled as you, placing his cup down and looking at you. There was a warmth in his eyes, making you feel at ease.
“You know, if you were to work, you could be beautiful too. I’ve already seen such record improvement after you started using my gift.” He told you. You gasped, looking at him wildly.
“Ah, so you were the one that left me those creams?! You didn’t have to do that, please, I’ll pay you back for them-” You started, but Vil held up a finger, silencing you.
“You should let your upperclassman finish speaking before you reply. That’s a habit we’ll have to work on.” He told you. You paused, before nodding. You wanted to appease your upperclassman, just like you did with any other upperclassman and your teachers. You really were such a good Prefect.
“But there’s still work to be done. Even now, I can see breakage in your hair, chewing on your nails, wrinkles in your uniform, and so on.” Vil told you, you felt shame rise to your face, looking down into the tea, seeing your reflection. Did you… Really look that bad? “That doesn’t mean there isn’t hope, however. I can start the paperwork so you’ll be an official member within a week. Sure, you’ll start at the bottom rung, but you’re a first year. It’s not like you won’t move up, and I promise you’ll be a lot happier here than in that poor, Ramshackle dorm. The room right next to me is open, so I’ll be able to keep a nice eye on you.” He told you. Your eyes widened as you stared at him, trying to process what he had said. You… A member of Pomefiore? It was something you couldn’t even imagine, but still… The idea of being in a dorm, a regular dorm member like everyone else was nice. You could have built in friends, a group of people you could rely on, and Vil would help you. No more ghosts, or having to constantly try and work to keep back cobwebs. You could be a respectable student, rather than someone everyone gawked at.
“I won’t put you through any special rituals, you’ve already proven you’re more than worthy to be here. So, what do you say, Prefect?” Vil said. He could see the want in your eyes. It was a good idea for him to start earlier, to give into his instinct to have you sooner rather than later. With this, he could finally give into the beating of his beautiful heart.
“... I’m sorry, but I can’t.” Then why did you say that? He stared at you as you looked down at your tea, smiling softly to yourself. He loved that smile, but why were you smiling now?! “Even if it sounds nice, I can’t give up my duties at Ramshackle Dorm. What would Grim do without me? And besides… I’m going to leave this world one day. It would be terrible to have to disappear on you all.” You told him. Vil just sat there, staring at you dumbfounded. He wasn’t used to people telling him no, that was for sure. And it made him mad, but he couldn’t just go off and say it. Instead, he laughed. It was a hearty, jovial sound, something that made you nervous.
“You really are a great Prefect, aren’t you? I’m surprised more people haven’t made this offer to you. But then again, you would’ve rejected all of them too.” Vil chuckled. His word put you at ease, making you sigh as you set your teacup down.
“I’m sorry to disappoint you. I’ll let you get back to your studies.” You told him as you stood up, collecting your things and moving onto the door. Vil still chuckled to himself, but you just ignored it, until you stepped to the door. You just… stood there. You didn’t know why you stood there, but before the door, you couldn’t move a muscle. You couldn’t reach out to the doorknob, with Vil’s laughter only becoming louder in your ears.
“W… What did you do?” You asked, turning back to Vil, staring at him as he gave you a wild look, in a way that you could only describe as deranged.
“Anyone who drinks this tea will be unable to leave this room without the permission of Vil Schoenheit. It’s a simple curse, but quite effective.” He told you. Your blood went cold as you tried to step back, trying to reach out beyond all hope to the doorknob, hoping beyond all hope that this was nothing but a sick prank, that he was just messing with you. And yet, Vil let himself drape his arms over you, pulling you close to him as he touched you, finally able to touch you without any regrets. You were warm, as warm as you were when you bumped into him that day. He reached and touched a piece of your hair, relishing in this without any regrets.
“It’s fine if you don’t accept it now. I’ll simply keep you here until you do.” Vil purred, leaving you to struggle against his hold, looking for some sort of escape from the beautiful room that was quickly becoming a personal hell.
“You can’t do this. You have to let me go, people will be looking for me.” You begged, but Vil just shook his head.
“Idia only shows up to class via a phone half the time, and Malleus is a famous no show. It’s practically tradition among dorm heads not to show up. It’ll be awhile before people really look.” He told you, rubbing small, soothing circles along your back. “I’ve already prepared a schedule for us, so you’ll begin your training as soon as I finish setting up my curses on you.” Vil told you. You gave him a look of despair, but even that, in a way, was beautiful, wasn’t it? Your lips, that you had taken so well care of with that lip balm you loved you so much, were prime to be made his, and he would let himself relish in it, pressing his against yours and he pushed you ahead the door, pressing his body against you in a fervour. Vil couldn’t help but drown in you, and you had no choice but to accept it, whether you liked it or not. When he pulled away and looked into your fear ridden eyes, he just smiled.
“I’ll turn you into a person worthy of being mine.”

Poly headcannons or oneshot between the Dorm leaders and MC? I saw you do poly stories which I don’t see alot, so I thought is was pretty cool!
My lovely this was a very fun oneshot to write. I have to say writing large group poly’s is certainly difficult but I love how this one came out. Hope you enjoy!
You sighed and laid back on the cushioned floor of your room. When your lovers went away it was always so lonely. They had all gone home for spring vacation and you hadn’t been able to travel with a single one of them. A whole week had passed since you saw any of them and you were honestly a little bit on the edge because of it.
Earlier you snapped at Grim which you were sorry about, but you couldn’t help feeling negative with a lack of attention. You had gotten used to being pampered on all sides but now that everyone was gone you felt miserable.
You huffed and sat back up, curling in your knees and putting your head down on top of them. Why couldn’t they come home already? You knew it was illogical to expect them home so soon. There was still a half of a week to go.  A pout formed on your lips and you tried to block the sad thoughts out of your mind. What could you think of that would distract you?
“Aww does someone miss their lovers. What a shame they have to be gone so long.” You groaned. Now you were officially delusional. Hearing Leona’s teasing voice above you had only confirmed the inevitable. You were insane. A pair of muscled arms slid around your waist and a face was pressed against your neck. Ok maybe you were more crazy then you thought.
Spinning suddenly you caught sight of one of your boyfriends and felt your jaw drop in shock. “Leona!” You lept onto him and kissed him deeply. “Hey, why does he get all the attention?” You looked up, breaking the kiss and ignoring Leona’s growl of disapproval. “Azul!” The white haired man chuckled in amusement and you tugged to get out of Leona’s vice like grip. The lion man growled again and held you closer.
“Kingscholar, be careful not to squeeze my sweet potato too hard. If you leave bruises behind I will declaw you.” Another familiar voice drifted into the room as the Pomefiore dorm leader made his entrance. “Vil!” He smirked and quirked a perfectly shaped brow. “Vil is absolutely right about this Leona. I’m afraid that if you hurt our rosebud I would have to take your head as punishment.” Riddle walked into the room and drew his magic pen in warning.
The lion beneath you grumbled and loosened his hold on your middle but didn’t quite release you. A few chuckles drew your attention back up to the door where Idia, Azul and Malleus walked in smiling. You gasped and started pushing up again. Afraid that you were going to tumble forwards and hurt yourself Leona sat up and spun you around before gently setting you on your feet and slowly letting you go. As soon as you were free your feet pattered quickly over to the rest of your boyfriends.
Smiling you turned to them all and shook with excitement and also hesitated, not knowing who to reach for first. Vil took the initiative and swooped you into his arms before dabbing your favorite chapstick on your bitten lips. “Tut tut you shouldn’t bite. It will make your lips crack and dry out even easier.” Despite his scolding Vil leaned down and kissed you gently. You pushed up on your tippy toes to reach him when he wore his massively high stilettos. The kiss was only barely deepened when Riddle pulled you from Vils arms and kissed your cheeks.
“Hello rosey you look a bit sad. Are the roses the wrong color today?” You giggled and shook your head kissing him back and laughing more when his face flushed more than it did when he was angry. “Alright it’s my turn.” Azuls confident voice and arms pulled you away for a passionate kiss and hug. “That’s enough. I would like a turn with our darling.”
You yelped a bit when Malleus lifted you away from Azul and into a bridal style hold before he leaned down and brushed his lips across your own. “I had a feeling you would miss me darling.” He whispered huskily. “I was so lonely without you as well.” His lips pressed against yours for a long and deep kiss. He nipped at your bottom lip when he pulled back and smiled at your flushed face.
Back on the ground you turned to the last boyfriend that you had not greeted and saw Idia shifting anxiously. You strode forwards and threw your arms around him sighing as his extraordinary heat engulfed you. His eyes shut and he rested his chin atop your head, trying to fight the blush that always seemed to creep its way onto his face when he was with you. It was quiet and calm for a moment but it didn’t last as one more voice rang out through the room.
“Y/n! Baby I’m back! Hey I want hugs too!” Kalim’s bright smile flashed and Leona rolled his eyes as the white haired teen rushed over and tackled you into a hug. The two of you tipped and fell to the floor where you sat up and giggled as Kalim still held you and pressed quick kisses to any part of your body that he could reach.
“Kalim, do try to be more careful. Y/n could have gotten hurt. Honestly you and Leona.” A growl came from the prince of the savannah. You smiled and laughed. It was a beautiful laugh and all 7 of your boyfriends stopped to admire it. They shared glances with each other before you were lifted off the ground and placed gently in the padding that you called a bed. Each of them lay down near you and you sighed, snuggling up to the closest body.
It happened to be Idia since he gave off the most heat. Malleus’ hand rested on your torso and he pressed up behind you. Your head sat in Vil’s lap and he began to braid your hair with delicacy. Azul sat near your left thigh and Kalim on the other side. They watched you yawn and huddle into your cocoon of boyfriends. Leona lay across the others to rest his head in your lap and you giggled softly at his purrs.
Soon your eyelids drooped as sleep took over. The seven dorm leaders had rested on the way here so they took the time to admire you and appreciate your existence in their lives. If you had to leave someday it would be hard but they loved you enough to let go. They could only hope however that even if the door didn’t open, you chose to stay with them for the rest of your life. They would make you the happiest person alive.

Leech Twins X Gem! Reader
It was another slow and cold winter in the Coral sea, as the icebergs slowly blocked out the sunlight from the surface. Yet lately many Icebergs have been falling apart lately, they would suddenly collapse and reveal the sun's rays from above.  Azul and the twins would wonder why that's been happening lately. Out of the many years, they lived there this was not a normal occurrence during the winter season.
"I don't mind it, finally we get some sunlight down here in the winter," (child)Floyd sighed.
"It fine I guess, but I don't like the banging noises it makes when they start falling apart. Plus it makes it dangerous to swim near the surface when that happens,"(child) Azul groaned.
Suddenly the iceberg above started to screech and whine as two large icebergs scrapped against each other. The three covered their ears as the sound became unbearable when suddenly that was a loud bang above the surface. Large chunks of ice fell into the water as it revealed an opening to the surface, letting in the sunlight from above.
"Ahh, warm sunlight,"(Child) Floyd smiled.
"What is that?" (Child)Jade asked as he pointed to a sinking figure.
"Probably just some unfortunate human, but I don't think humans are supposed to sink that fast. Jade, Floyd catch them," (Child)Azul said simply.
Jade and Floyd shrugged and same to catch the figure, which was surprisingly heavier than they expected. The twins managed to softly land the figure on the soft sand, and when they stepped to examine the figure they gasped at the sight. The figure had a lovely face, but what was off was the large cracks that ran down her face, and her hair didn't look like anything they've seen. It gave off a beautiful shimmer of Aquamarine.
"Nee, Jade this person is so shiny,"(Child) Floyd smiled as he hugged the figure, " But not so squishy, they're solid as a rock,"
"Careful, you might shatter them,"(child) Jade said with a smile.
"Jade, Floyd what is it?" (Child)Azul asked as he swam as quickly as he could.
He looked over the figure and gasped at the large cracks on her face. Thankfully Azul was able to fix it with coral sap, making the figure look good as new. Suddenly it began to stir as its eyes slowly fluttered open. Revealing beautiful ocean blue eyes she stared blankly at the three faces.
"W-who are you?" The girl asked nervesly, " Where am I?"
The poor girl had lost her memory, and couldn't recall who or what she is or even where she even came from. So Azul simply gave the girl a name, Y/n, but Floyd would nickname Y/n as Aqua or Aquamarine at times.
Y/n was a freak of nature to the twins, she wasn't soft and completely made out of precious stones, from her hair down to her feet. She didn't require food to keep her going, or even air for that matter. She just required sunlight or light from glowing jellyfish.
"Nee, Aqua-chan try this, it's Takoyaki. It's delicious,"(Child) Floyd smiled as he shoved food in Y/n's face.
"O-oh, no thank you, Floyd," Y/n smiled as she feeds it back to Floyd. He happily chomped down with a smile.
"You never eat, are you sure are okay?" (Child) Jade asked.
"As long as I have light, I should be fine," Y/n smiled as she patted Jade's head.
Floyd and Jade smiled as they hugged her arms. Y/n was nothing Like Floyd or Jade had seen before, so they like to drag her around everywhere they went. As they glided through the water Y/n quickly followed behind as she ran across the sandy ocean floor.
"I don't see why I'm needed to go to school with you," Y/n said as the twins pulled on her arms.
"Cause school is so boring, We want you to be by outside," Floyd said as he pulled at Y/n.
"Plus it will be interesting to see how our classmates react," Jade laughed.
The powder that covered Y/n's arms, legs, and face soon washed off revealing her gem surface underneath, but as time went on Floyde and Jade grew. Once small children that were half of Y/n size grew to be taller or longer than her. The twins and Azul grew to be handsome young men, but Y/n seemed to be forever frozen in time and remained the same.
-----------
As Time went on as the twins and Azul started to prepare for the expected arrival of the black carriage. Y/n's mind began to wonder, as she began to wander near the town edge of the Coral Sea, but the Twins don't let her wander too far from them.
"Nene, Aqua-chan what are you doing all the way out here?" Floyd asked as he hugged her from behind.
"Yes, home is the other way. You wander off again," Jade smiled.
"Oh, I'm sorry, but shouldn't you two be making your way back to shore soon?" Y/n asked the twin.
"Huh? You're not going to see us off?" Jade asked with a pained expression.
"You want me to come to see you off?" Y/n asked.
"Of course, you have to be there," Floyd said as he nuzzled Y/n's neck.
Jade picked Y/n up bridle style as they swam to a nearby shore, where Azul was waiting for them. Y/n staring up at the blue sky with wide eyes, this was the first time she saw the sky and sun in 9 years. She slowly wiggled out of Jade's grasps and took her first steps on land in what felt like forever. The microscopic organisms inside her gem body started to make more energy than it has before, she had never felt more awake in so long.
"Nee, Aqua-chan slow down," Floyd whined as Y/n turned to see Floyd and jade slowly crawling up the beach.
As they tried to stand on their new legs, Y/n chuckled and quickly tried to help the two stand. Yet the three once merpeople simply clung to the gem girl for support. So for the first few days, was full of Y/n helping them walk on their own, and watching them fall over many times, but they soon got the hang of things.
-----------
The time arrived when the carriage arrived, and Y/n though this was where they would part ways. Nope, Jade and Floyd managed to drag her into the carriage with them and bring her to the school, claiming she was the twins Familiar. Surprisingly the headmaster was okay with this, seeing that there was a couple of other students who had similar "Familiars". As the twins and Azul sat with the other students Y/n looked around the room to see other people like her. Near the Scarabia dorm students stood a girl with diamond hair, by a red-headed Heartslabyul student stood a girl with ruby hair, a Pomefiore man had a girl with Ametrine hair standing next to him, a girl with obsidian hair was holding a tablet that the Ignihyde dorm leader spoke through. Savanaclaw had a girl with long hair made of bort. Heck, the Headmaster seemed to have an assistant with Rutile hair.
Y/n simply stared in awe at the many varieties of gem people in the room. When the ceremony finished everyone funneled out of the room, as Y/n walked she felt a tap on her shoulder. She turned to see it was the diamond girl from the other dorm. The two chatted away when they had to part ways into the dorm. The Octavinelle Dorm reminded Y/n a lot of the Coral Sea, and the sense of sleepiness came over her at the sudden lack of bright sunlight.
"Nee, Aqua-chan who was that other girl you were talking to?" Floyd asked as he hugged Y/n from behind.
"That was Dia, and she told me that rutile plans to put us to work and we will be helping around the school," Y/n explained.
"So you won't be staying by our side then?" Jade frowned slightly.
"Awww, that sucks, I was hoping to have Aqua-chan by our side the entire time," Floyd whined as he rested his chin on her shoulder.
_______
So while Azul and the twins studied in the classrooms, Rutile leads the gems outside to help around the school. From wiping down the windows to mowing the grass in the fields. One day during P.E while the 2nd and 1st-year students ran laps the Gem girls were on the side slicing grass with some obsidian blad and while Vargus had to step out of a few minutes. As the students rested, Y/n noticed something odd in the sky.
"Riddle, what is that?" Ruby asked.
"I don't know, Ruby," Riddle said as the rest of the students stopped to look as well.
As everyone watched in awe as the sounds of instruments could be heard. The black cover vanished revealing something odd.
"It's so pretty," Obsidian awed.
"I don't know, something is off about it," Idia whispered.
"What even is that?" Vil wondered.
Y/n stared up in wonder when memories flashed in her mind as fear started t wash over her. The figures in the sky drew their bows and readied their spears and tossed them down on the gem humans below. A spear sliced through Ruby's neck like butter, time slowed as everyone watched Ruby's head and body fall to the ground. Everyone screamed in panic as more arrows and spears rained from the sky.
"We don't have our pens!" Leona growled.
"Everyone back to the school !" Jamil shouted as everyone tried to run.
But when they tried to run spears and arrows cut them off. Y/n turned back to see Riddle trying to carry Ruby's body with him.
"Riddle!" Trey gasped as he hurried Riddle and let ruby's pieces behind.
Y/n looked down at her blade and back up at the attackers in the sky, suddenly her body acted on its own as she ran towards the cloud.
"Y/N!" Jade and Foyd gasped.
"What is she doing?!" Azul gasped.
As Arrows and spears rain down she deflected them with a swing of her sword and tossed some of them back at the enemy. suddenly weird golden lines that ended with hooks and gem spheres. They quickly extended down and wrapped around a fellow gem Ametrine, and quickly dragged her closer to the cloud.
"Ametrine!" Vil cried out.
Ametrine dug her heels into the ground to stop herself, the moment she struggled and pulled. The pins in the gem spheres were pulled out and exploded. When the smoke cleared, Ametrine was blown to pieces. Everyone watched in horror as a few figures from the cloud climbed down to collect the shattered gem pieces. Dia quickly acted and sliced through the enemy. Bort and Y/n jumped up to the vessel and began to slice away at the enemy, who poof away once defeated.
Y/n ran to the tall enter figure and sliced it in half with ease, but more grenade hooks shot out from the bottom half of the figure. Before they could wrap around Bort, Y/n quickly pushed them out of the way and grabbed at the rope. She hopped down from the vessel and pulled at the rope above the pinned hooks. Dia quickly helped Y/n pull as they ripped the center figure off the vessel, causing the who thing to poof out of the air, but not before a pin was pulled causing the grenades to explode.
"Aqua-Chan!" Floyd called out.
Vargus and Rutile ran out to see the shaken students and shattered and Damaged gem figures.
-----------
"Y/n, Y/n please open your eyes," Said a familiar voice.
"Aqua-chan," Said another voice.
Y/n's eye's opened slowly as her vision slowly came to her. Staring down at her were a pair of 2 mismatched eyes staring down at her.
"Floyd...Jade?" Y/n groaned as she slowly sat up.
But was tackled back down in a bear hug from the twins.
"Your back!" Floyd smiled.
"What happened to.. outside?" Y/n asked.
"Rutile came and put you and everyone back together, while Vargus took the human students back to the school. You were asleep for a week. You managed to defeat the strange enemy from the sky," Jade explained.
"What were you thinking, running towards danger like that. That was stupid Aqua-chan," Floyd pouted.
"As long as I can be put back together, I cannot die-,"
"They wanted to take you away from us," Jade said as he pulled Y/n close to him.
"They were going to steal you from us. Your our treasure, no one else's," Floyd said as the twins sandwiched the girl in a hug.

BABYSITTER
Tumblr media
note/s :: literally just porn without plot. I vastly underestimated how long this would be. It’s completely self indulgent and based on the babysitter au idea I had earlier. This is probably shit but honestly it was so fun to write now that I don’t feel embarrassed while writing smut.
desc :: mari is a babysitter for epel. after tucking epel in, she finds rook in the kitchen and offers to cook dinner for him. she realizes that her two attractive bosses feel the same way about her.
word count :: 2263
pairing :: beautywings | rookvil x mari
Tumblr media
Mari stretched her arms as she exited Epel’s room. It took a bit of time in order to get the rowdy child to bed but she managed to tire him out enough. It was kind of a shame that she didn’t get to tell him a bedtime story like usual but Vil is very strict about the exact time he needs to be asleep. Sometimes it was a little tiring to meet his standards but it was all worth it in the end. The family paid well and Epel was a sweet child.
Her eyes landed on the man sitting in the living room. A small smile graced her lips. “Ah, I see you’re back from work, Mr. Hunt. Have you eaten dinner?” She asked him.
He shook his head, mirroring her smile. He tipped his hat to her in greeting, gazing at her like he usually did. It looked as though he was a predator stalking his prey. But as a hunter, it was just his thing, she reasoned with herself internally. He’s never done anything to harm her. In fact, he was always so charming and sweet. Mr. Schoenheit was a lucky man to have him as a husband.
“Then let me make something for you.”
Mari made her way to the kitchen in order to cook something up for the two of them, as well as Mr. Schoenheit. Hopefully she can perfect her skill in making meals the way her two employers like it, knowing how high the actor’s standards were for everything. As she placed the ingredients onto the counter, she felt a warm breath on her neck, causing her to jolt and drop the ingredients on it. His arms wrapped around her.
“M-Mr. Hunt, what are you doing—”
She was interrupted by him. “Fufu, I’ve always dreamed of getting to know you carnally on this counter. The thought of having you for dinner tonight makes me feel so excited.” He couldn’t mask the giddiness in his voice. His hands roamed her body, groping at every curve.
“Mr. Hunt, you’re married— Ah!” She moaned at him slipping his fingers through her skirt and panties and inside her warmth, massaging her insides. She felt his tongue drag across her neck and collarbone. A heat spread throughout her body from her abdomen.
“Mm, yes. You’re so wet, mon petit lapin,” he cooed as he grinded his hips against hers, pressing his hardness to her ass.
She bit her lip, trying not to be too loud. But accidentally let another moan out when he inserted another finger into her depths. A knot formed in her loins, squeezing tightly and aching for release.
“Let me hear all your beautiful noises, mon chéri. Show me how much of a whore you are,” he whispered into her ear, tickling it lightly. It caused her to gasp. For some reason, she felt her pussy twitch at his words.
But then came the sound of heels clacking against the marble floor. Her heart stopped, recognising the sound and her head whipped up to see the glacial gaze of Mr. Schoenheit piercing through her soul.
She was so fucked.
“Mr. Schoenheit, I’m so sorry—”
Vil glared at his husband. “How dare you start without me, Rook? I should punish you for your impatience.” He walked over and pushed him off of the girl.
“Wha—”
She couldn’t even get a full word in before he pulled her towards him and picked her up, carrying her bridal style to their shared room. “Don’t be so surprised, darling. I hope you really didn’t think we didn’t notice how you look at the two of us with such longing eyes.”
Her cheeks heated up, unsure how to respond to all this but she couldn’t bring herself to protest. He was right. But god, it felt embarrassing to know that they were aware of how she saw them this whole time.
The model laid her on the bed, the silk sheets were more inviting and twice as sensual on her skin. A click sounded from behind them, indicating that the door had been locked.
“Sit down.” His voice was commanding, so much so that his husband immediately sat down on the chair. He pulled his drawer and took out some brilliant red rope before expertly tying his husband in a manner that reminded the girl of shibari, such intricate and detailed patterns were so elegant that she felt unworthy of seeing Rook in such an erotic state. She rubbed her thighs together, trying to calm the rising heat between them.
He tied a blindfold over his eyes, concealing them. Then, Vil turned to her, causing her to tense up. Her breath hitched. “Strip for me. Slowly.”
Mari gulped and nodded, unbuttoning her cardigan one at a time. She took it off, revealing her bare shoulders and started to strip off her dress which left her in her underwear.
He tutted. “They’re decent, but you could do better, my dear.” He eyed her underwear, judging the way the fabric hugged her body, how the color looked against her skin tone, and other things.
“I didn’t exactly expect this to happen, sir,” she spoke, finally able to actually get a whole sentence out.
A frown pulled at his lips. His expression was one of exasperation. “We were meant to wait until I deemed you ready but Rook had gotten too excited, so now I have to punish him for that.”
Vil crossed his arms. “But before we proceed any further, I must ask if you are truly alright with this. You’re allowed to say no if you do not feel comfortable with this. Do not feel pressured by our status as your employers.” He seemed so genuine with his words, like he truly cared about how she felt. “You may go home and forget this ever happened and I can assure you that it won’t affect your job.”
She bit her lip, nodding meekly. “Yeah, I was just shocked that you guys would actually… want this. I’m still having trouble believing this is actually happening.” This felt too good to be true. The two men that she pined for had just suddenly shown that they were interested in her. She wondered if this was just a really spicy dream she was having after being sexually repressed for years. But it was really nice that Vil cared enough for her consent first.
He smirked, leaning closer. His finger hooked underher chin to make her look directly at his lilac eyes that held such lust for her.
“Then we’ll have the whole night to convince you that this is very real.”
His other hand went behind her and unhooked her bra with ease. It fell to the ground with a near silent thud. She shivered, feeling a cool breeze nip at her flesh. He took off her panties as well, dropping them so that she was completely naked.
Vil led her to where Rook was and instructed her to get on her knees in front of him. The girl unzipped his pants and was startled by his thick length springing up, leaking precum. “Place it in between your breasts,” the taller male ordered her. She obliged, leaning closer to get him between her soft mounds. Rook shivered at the contact, his cock twitched lightly.
“Now, lick the tip.”
Mari opened her mouth and circled her tongue over the head, causing the hunter to moan lightly. She then felt a pair of hands snaking down to her nether regions, rubbing circles on her clit. This caused her breath to hitch.
“Take it in your mouth and massage him,” Vil commanded her as he moved closer to her, their bodies had gotten so close that she felt his hardness against her.
She followed his orders. Rook groaned at her actions, wishing that he could see her but the blindfold prevented him from doing that. “Mon ange, please—”
The actor noticed and a mirthful smirk pulled at his glossy lips, enhancing his gorgeous features. “Begging already, are we?” He asked. “How pitiful. Usually you can last hours before you’re even pleading for release.”
“But I suppose it can’t be helped,” he continued on, “You couldn’t even wait until she was ready, and now I have to punish your impatience.”
“You’re not allowed to cum until I say so, got it?” His voice was commanding, so much so that Rook had nodded immediately.
“Keep going,” Vil whispered into the girl’s ear before he looked down at her sopping wet cunt. His fingers entered her, making her gasp around his husband’s cock. “Hm, I see Rook did one thing right. You should be wet enough.”
His hard length pressed against her ass when she continued to tease Rook, who was doing well when it came to holding back. She swirled her tongue around his tip. Looking up at him like this was a glorious sight to behold. His skin shone with sweat and his body was completely ripped. His chest heaved as he breathed. A nice red blush dusted his pale cheeks.
Mari cried out when she felt Vil’s cock enter her. The more intense vibrations around his manhood caused Rook to jolt in pain and pleasure.
Vil waited for her to adjust for a moment before moving his hips to grind against hers. The heat between her legs intensified, raging like a fire. She moaned at the sensation, feeling him hit all the right places.
The hunter wished for nothing more than to be able to see during that moment. It must’ve been quite a sight to see his cock between her soft tits while she sucked the tip as Vil pounded into her from behind. He groaned. “Roi du Poison, please… forgive me.”
Vil hummed before looking down at Mari. “What do you think, dear? Should I?” He asked her before angling his hips upward to hit her g spot.
“I think he learned his les-SON!” Mari felt herself go cross-eyed when he hit that spot within her. The knot tightening in her loins.
“Hmph, you’re certainly forgiving. But fine. As it is your first night with us, you’ll have your way,” he said. He turned to his husband. “You have our permission.”
Upon hearing those words, Rook immediately spilled his seed into her mouth, filling it with his creamy essence.
“Don’t swallow just yet. Take off his blind fold.”
Mari pulled away, tasting the thick saltiness of his cum. She leaned up to remove the blindfold from his eyes. Hunter green irises locked with milk chocolate-hued ones.
“Make him taste himself,” Vil commanded as he leaned down on her shoulder to leave a trail of kisses.
Rook’s eyes darkened with lust and hunger when she closed in on his lips. It was obvious just how eager he was when his tongue entered her wet cavern. He moaned, finding bliss in such an intimate act shared between him and the girl.
“Mon ange, my cum tastes divine on you.”
As they did this, Vil quickened his thrusts, hitting every sweet spot in the process and making her cry out. Her body felt as though it was on fire with every thrust. Her walls hugged his thick cock, tightening around it.
“Mr. Schoenheit… Mr. Hunt…” Mari gasped, breathing heavily as she pulled away from the hunter, his seed dripped onto her breasts. “It feels so good…”
Rook leaned down to lick her bud, nibbling on it lightly. “Oh, my dear slut, you’re doing so well. But please, call us by our first names.” he praised her. She bit her lip.
“Ara? You’ve tightened around me when you were called a slut.” Vil smirked. “Does that mean you want to be treated like one?”
Mari couldn’t answer as the knot tightened more and more, needing release soon.
Smack!
“Ah!”
He gave her an icy glare, slowing his thrusts to a torturous pace. “I asked you a question, whore. I expect you to answer.”
She nodded frantically, desperate for relief. “Yes! Please treat me like your cumslut. I am nothing more than a toy for your pleasure.”
He hummed, smirking. “That wasn’t so hard now, wasn’t it? And for that, you’re allowed to cum now. Remember to thank me for filling you with my seed.”
Vil started going at a brutal pace. Fast squelching noises could be heard. The room was permeated with the scent of sex.
“Ah! Yes, thank you, Vil! Thank you!” Mari cried out repeatedly as she started going cross-eyed with pleasure.
And with one final thrust to her g spot, she squealed. She saw stars in her vision as euphoric bliss engulfed her senses. The knot in her loins snapped. She felt his seed flood her cunt before he slowly pulled out, some cum dripped onto the floor.
Mari panted heavily before collapsing, then was caught by Vil. He brought her over to the bed, laying her on it. Then, he pressed a chaste kiss to her lips.
“You did well, my dear,” he praised her.
He turned around and started untying his husband’s constraints. The rope dropped to the floor.
Rook got up from the chair and approached her with a smirk. She looked up, a bit confused.
Vil turned to her. “I did say that we had the whole night to convince you after all. Don’t be so surprised.” He sat down, observing them with his lilac eyes.
“Ah, mon petit lapin, how I’ve waited to ravish you for so long.” Rook licked his lips as he neared her. “Now I can do it all night long.”

A frog princess
This came from animalgirl2018.tumblr.com idea of the story, my Oc is Antheny. Here info is right here-https://www.quotev.com/story/13788344/Once-Upon-a-Dream
Just to clarify, Antheny is not a student but a gardener in Botanical Garden and was just helping Grimm and Yuu (Enma Yuuken) and ended it.
Anyway let's start the chaos. Also the Italic means thought
It was once a good day in Night Raven College, but now it's nothing but chaos and chase. Each of the 7 dorms are trying to catch a tiny green frog.
Ace-*wearing bright red suit and use boutique to knock her* damn it! I almost got her!
Deuce-*blue suit and tried to use the blazer as a net only to fail*damn it! She miss!
Trey-*wearing a green suit and tries to trap her in silver lid* damn it! Cater!
Cater-*wearing orange prince attire and duplicate himself but the fail* she's fast!
Riddle-*wearing red prince suit and held his pen* sorry about this Antheny! Off with your head!
Anthy dodge it as the lock hit a random student.
Random student-WHAT THE?!
Riddle-drat! She manage to dodge it!?
Cater-What do you expect, she's a half-witch.
Trey-and a fast one too.
Deuce-let's hope the others get her.
Ace-still we better get her! I mean, not to blow my own horn but I know we are all in love with her.
Deuce-say to the guy who just got friendzone with me and Riddle.
Ace-*Sarcastic laugh* haha fuck you.
Meanwhile, Anthy manage to hid herself in Botanical Garden as she tries to catch her breathe.
Anthy-*thoughts* How did this happen?! Grim just have to drop one bottle and now everyone wants to kiss me! I just want to get out of this body! And the only way is potion or... -blush- Nope! No way I am going to be kiss by them! I'm already been kiss by Sam and Crewel...and-
"Anthy~"
Anthy-oh God...
Anthy look out from the bush to see Ruggie in fairy gala attire while Jack is still in his uniform along Leona (his too lazy to get dress) as they search her. Her eyes is now in tears as she want to go home but her key necklace are back at Crowley room.
Ruggie-come out~ we won't bite~
Jack-Ruggie stop she's scarred.
Leona-true but you want to kiss her even she decline you...
Jack-that's because she didn't want Yuu to be angry!
Ruggie-and still want too kiss her~
Jack-oh yeah? What about you two?
Ruggie-I'll kiss her cause she's cute and Leona want her.
Leona-true and I want her before that monster gets her and make a bride to her.
Anthy hop to one flower bush to a another but before she got to the rose bush, a hand grab her...it was Vil in prince attire.
Vil-found you my dear~
Anthy-*internal screaming*
Rook-*wearing prince-hunter attire* you gave us quite a chase my dear petite~
Epel-*wearing a cute prince attire* we promise you, we won't scare you Anthy!
Anthy struggle to break free but it just got worse...
Ruggie-found her! She's been capture by Vil-senpai!
Leona-oh good...hand her over. -held out his hand-
Vil-oh Leona, you don't look good in that, you know? How could Anthy love you?
Anthy-Someone please kill me.
Leona made a tssk noise and change into a prince attire, Vil dramatic gasp.
Vil-how dare you trick me!
Leona-*smirk* now hand her over.
Epel-Never!!!
Anthy quickly got out from Vil grip, jumping onto his face making him squeal and into Rook head then Epel hat then hop off quick.
Leona/Vil-get that frog!!!
She manage to lost them as she got back to the college ground only to cause the attention of heartslabyul and now three dorms chase her as she finds a way to get rid of them and found one.
She got to the gym area were there she saw Grim and Yuu.
Grim-look it's Anthy, but why is she coming back he-
Yuu-oh shi-
And just like that, all three dorms made a collision crash into the two students as Anthy turn and saw that the two groan in pain. But she scamper off. Unaware, a bat saw the whole thing and fly off to tell his master.
-Potion room-
Anthy use her tongue as she pull the book from the shelf as it drop in front of her and began finding the potion to revert her back as human.
Anthy-no, no, where is it?! I need to be quick before-
"Oh little froggy~"
Anthy-oh sweet mary elizabeth...not him, anyone but him!!
She hid herself in messy books as she saw Jade and Flyod in twin set prince attire. Jade look through he bottles while Flyod look through the bookshelves.
Jade-don't be shy Anthy, we just want to kiss you~
Flyod-yes even Azul agreed to turn you back~
Anthy body is shaken and tears is filled up, why does it have to be them!? That's when the book that hid her is lifted, her eyes look up revealing Azul in army wear.
Azul-found you pearl~
Anthy quickly hop onto the desk and proceed hopping, dodging Jade but hitting Flyod with her tongue and out of the room. She quickly need a place to hide or anywhere that's when she saw Kalim charging towards wearing Arabian attire and holding a net.
Kalim-sorry about this Jewel! But you leave us no choice!
Ortho-Big sis!
Jamil-get her!!!
She could see Ortho behind and wearing star attire. While Jamil wore the fairy gala.
Ortho-so sorry!
Anthy nearly dodge them and the two made a collision crash to the Octanivelle. She scamper off another room, which is lecture room. Luckily no students and teachers are there.
Anthy-Oh God, Idia...Ortho I'm sorry...
She hid under the table of Mozus Trein as she whimper.
Anthy-I hurt them...it's my fault...
"It's not your fault dear~"
She look up to see Lilia hanging upside down, this made her back against the wall table as she is now shaking. Lilia wore a vampire outfit
Lilia-no where to run~
Anthy tears willed up and began to cry, as he pick her up and comfort her...only for her to use her tongue to grab the book and smash his face hard then scamper.
Lilia-*dizzy* wow...that's a heavy hit...-faints-
Anthy dodge Silver and Sebek who wore their dorm uniform and Malleus who is surprise and just finish one class from gym. She got to the main ground and once she did, she saw Ashton Vargas talking to the other adults.
Ashton-your telling me, Anthy turn into a frog!?
Crewel-yes and she's causing more trouble!
Sam-*sees her* there's she is-
She jump inside Ashton, this made him scream like a little girl and began shaking himself.
Ashton-GET HER OFF OF ME!!!
Anthy-sorry!
She jump off and about to hop only for a black and white cat finally capture her. Ashton fainted
"Good job Lucius..."
Mozus Trein pick up Anthy who wanted to die but finally fell asleep in his arms. He kiss her top of head, and just like that she turn back into herself wearing a princess dress
Sam-woah! I thought it would be prince! But I guess it's not just true love or any romantic...but rather a love from her uncle..
Crewel-I'm jealous here.
Lucius-meow...
Anthy-t-thanks uncle...
Mozus-your welcome dear...although the dress is too revealing..
His uncle side is kicking in as he glare at the two as Crewel hand her a fur coat to cover herself while Sam look away, the remain students (except Idia and Malleus) halt and saw her in dress.
Leona-well damn...
Mozus-Anthy, can you go to headmaster Crowley?
Anthy-*nodded*
Mozus-*put her down* good..-crack his knucles-
Ace-ah shit! RUUUNN!!!!!

Can You Imagine? I
Summary: Freydis was dead. At least, when she’d lost consciousness, she’d been sure she was. But now she has woken up in a cold, sterile environment, one she is certain is not Valhalla, and the world as she once knew it has changed. People now have strange abilities, some of them, and people they call ‘scientists’ are trying to give them to her. The bigger issue, though, is the fact they have also woken the very man who killed her. Ivar the Boneless lives again as well, in the same way Freydis does, and if they want to survive... she may have to learn to trust him again.
A/N: As you can see from the summary above, I have... had a very strange idea. But! It’s one I look forward to exploring, and this is an AU of a sort that will be revealed as the story progresses :) If you have any ideas what the AU is exactly, I’d love to hear them! Otherwise, I would also love to hear any other feedback, and I hope you enjoy! Please reach out with DMs, reblogs, or asks if you’d like to be added to the taglist, which will be at the end of the post. Skål!
Warnings: Hospital-like environments, mad science, injections, human experimentation, etc. Google translated Norwegian and German, and Old Norse in Italics!
Masterlist
The World Turned Upside Down
The first thing Freydis noticed was the bright lights overhead, even if she didn’t know how they were so bright. She shut her eyes against them, and moved her arm to cover her face in an attempt to block them out. When her arm didn’t move, held down by something wrapped around her wrist, her heart lept into her throat. She had thought to wake in Valhalla, to be welcomed by the gods after her sacrifice in saving Kattegat from Ivar the Boneless, facing him with what she had done and still fighting to save her own life from him. But… this could not be Valhalla, she thought.
Wherever she was, it was cold, and almost unnaturally bright. Her eyes finally opened again as her chest rose and fell quickly. She was hyperventilating. Vaguely, she became aware of a strange, high pitched sound that was short and quick. People around her were speaking, she heard their voices, but their words were foreign and unfamiliar to her. It didn’t seem to her this could be Hel either. It didn’t match any description of what she knew from the legends and stories from home.
So… what was this place?
Freydis’s eyes soon adjusted to the bright lights, which she saw were coming from strange spheres, held up by… some sort of disk, on a pole? Her head turned to the side, and she groaned quietly. “Where am I?” she tried to call out. “Who is there?” Her voice was scratchy, and cracked under the attempted volume.
“Hun er våken,” she heard someone say, and she frowned. It sounded vaguely similar to her own language, but not quite familiar enough that she could make it out. She caught the first word, she, so… they were talking about her, weren’t they?
“Who are you?” she tried again.
A door behind her opened, catching her attention and making her quickly turn her head to look. The room began to spin with the speed she’d turned with, and she closed her eyes and swallowed hard.
“God morgen, Freydis,” the voice said, and her eyes opened to see a woman standing in front of her. The woman was dressed like no woman she’d seen before, in a strange white coat that came to her thighs, beyond which Freydis could see she wore loose pants, of a dark shade, and strange shoes which covered the front, sides, and back of her feet, but not the tops. “Ikke vær redd, vi er dine vinner, hm?”
She couldn’t understand enough of the woman’s words to respond, though she could catch not, we, and… friends? Was she saying they weren’t her friends? Her heart jumped again.
“What is happening?” the Viking woman tried to ask. When the woman put what was meant to be a calming hand on her arm, Freydis flinched and tried to jump away. A soft sob left her throat, one she hadn’t even realized had been building. “I don’t know what you want with me,” she started to say, “but please, just let me go. I will not cause you any trouble, I swear it.”
“Shh,” the woman said, beginning to stroke her hair. “Du er trygg her.”
You, and here. She wished they could understand each other, at the least. The woman looked toward the source of the strange sound, and sighed. It’s speed and frequency had increased. “Du er for stresset,” she mumbled. “Du må slappe av.”
“I cannot understand you,” Freydis tried to tell her, but the woman just shook her head.
“Du burde hvile,” she said. “Vi flytter deg til annet rom.”
The woman picked up a strange looking device, like a tube with some liquid in it, a long thing off the tip. Her breaths only became more shallow, more quick, as she brought the thing closer. “What is that?” Freydis asked. The woman didn’t answer, and she pushed the tip to her neck. A sharp pain immediately pierced her skin, and a soft cry came from the Viking woman. Something burned through her under her skin, making her gasp and writhe on the cold surface they had her strapped to.
“Hvil, Freydis,” the woman said. “Du vil føle deg bedre når du våkner igjen.”
The corners of Freydis’s vision were darkening, and she let out a quiet whine as she started to lose consciousness. Her chest ached in the worst way, feeling tight and strained. One last choked sob left her, and she descended into darkness.
When Freydis woke the next time, there was still darkness. Her head hurt, and her body felt stiff, but she could move. She was laid in a bed now, blankets laid over her body, her head resting on a pillow. It was better than what she’d been used to as a slave, the straw pallets she slept on, but not what she’d had as a Queen, as Ivar’s wife. The bed was small, with a firm mattress and flat pillow.
She sat up slowly, closing her eyes to combat again the way her head was spinning. Her hand went to her forehead as if that could help, brows creasing. Once she felt more steady, Freydis opened her eyes once again and started to look around, her eyes adjusting to the darkness. There was nothing else in the room, it seemed, aside from her little bed. But that was better than that harsh surface from earlier. The woman rubbed the back of her neck, sighing.
At least now, Freydis could see she was alone. Without that woman in with her, she began to mumble softly to herself- or, really, to the gods. “You gods, you cannot leave me alone here,” she whispered. “Here I know no one, and I have nothing. If I must remain, help me to understand what it is I am to do here, and bring me a companion, so the loneliness will not set in and take my desire to do your will.” She sighed, running her hands over the wall, which felt much like the cold, hard surface she’d been strapped to earlier. It must have been made of the same material.
“I do not doubt that it is my fate to be here,” she continued, “and I will not question your judgement of my fate. I only ask it be made more bearable for me. For your servant, Freydis.”
At that time, she heard a clicking sound, the same sound that before had signalled a door opening. Her heart jumped as she whipped around, looking for whoever may have entered the space. This time, she was joined by a man, one who still dressed in no way she had ever seen. He wore similar pants to the woman, though his shoes covered his whole foot, and he had no strange white coat. Just a long sleeved shirt, a vest over that, and a… strange sort of bow fixed around his neck. What sort of clothing did they have there?
(It should be noted, at this time Freydis had not yet noticed the far stranger garment she wore- an almost nightgown sort of thing that stopped above her knees, and opened down the back except for the three or four places it was tied together.)
“Hei,” he greeted, smiling at her. Freydis lifted a brow in response, and subtly pressed herself closer to the wall. “Snakker du norsk?”
“I… do not fully understand you,” she told him, more confident without being tied down. “I can tell this once you have asked if I speak Norwegian, but only because the words are so similar to my own. But I do not speak your language.”
The man chuckled a little. “So my theory is correct, then,” he said. Her eyes widened as she recognized every word that came out of his mouth. “The Norwegian spoken today is similar to the Old Norse spoken in your time, similar enough much meaning can be understood, but not similar enough for the languages to be interchangeable. Fascinating.”
“What do you mean, ‘the Norwegian spoken today’?” Freydis questioned. “‘The Old Norse spoken in my time’? Hm? I don’t deny I am glad to hear my own language spoken, but you must understand the unnerving situation I find myself in. I do not know where I am, who you are- only that you are not my friends- and it would appear that I am being held captive. All I want, is-”
“Who has told you we are not your friends?” the man interrupted her. “Of course we are your friends. We’re- well, we’re the reason you’re alive, My Lady.”
“That woman who came to me when I was restrained. She said we were not friends. And then she took my consciousness.”
“Yes,” the man confirmed. “You were having a panic attack. We knew there’d be no use talking to you, explaining anything, if you were panicking. My colleague chose to sedate you so we could restore you to a calmer state, and explain then. She does not speak Old Norse, or perhaps she could have calmed you better than she did.”
“Perhaps I should not have been restrained, if calming me was your goal,” she pointed out flatly.
The man’s cheeks turned a slight shade of pink, and her brow lifted. “Perhaps not,” he agreed. “But what we have done with you, has never been done before- not successfully. It has been attempted, but you are the first success.”
His words brought no comfort to Freydis, and her eyes narrowed, her head tilted slightly to the side. “What did you do to me?” she questioned. Her voice had turned more firm than before, losing any of its naturally amicable tone, as she demanded this answer.
“We brought you back to life, of course.”
Everything froze at his words, including Freydis herself. She watched him with wide eyes, her mouth slightly agape, and then she laughed bitterly. “That is a cruel joke. If you want me to believe you have brought me back to life, then I must first have died. But I know I have not died, as I have not seen Valhalla. I do not believe you.”
The man sighed, and bit his lip. “Could I convince you to come with me, then?” he asked. “I can show you proof of my claims. Then, perhaps, you will let us help you.”
“If it is true you raised me from the dead, then you should be horrified with your actions. You have stolen me from Valhalla, and the gods, and interfered in fate. They will be angry.”
“Or, perhaps you have found a new fate with us,” the man suggested. “Come. I’ll introduce myself along the way.”
Perhaps against her better judgement, as she had nothing else she could do, Freydis walked to the man, and allowed him to take her from the small room she was in.
The man led her out into a long, bright hallway that felt similar in nature to the first room she’d woken in. Large, white rectangles seemed to light the space, and she creased her brows as she looked up at them. Something about them made her quite uncomfortable. She swallowed again.
“You have not told me where I am,” she commented. The man merely chuckled in response. “Do not laugh at me.”
“My apologies, Queen Freydis,” he said. “I was laughing because you’re right. You don’t miss a thing, do you?”
Freydis narrowed her eyes at the man’s back. “No, I don’t,” she agreed harshly. “And I will not ask again. Where am I?”
“You are… in Germany, not that this will make any sense to you. You’d have known Germany as the Germanic tribes, which were part of the Frankish Empire.”
“Has it been taken from the Frankish?” she questioned. Her mind turned to her husband’s uncle, Duke Rollo, who had helped him take Kattegat. Freydis wondered vaguely if Rollo was alright.
The man chuckled again, but answered before he could anger the Viking woman behind him. “Many centuries ago, yes.”
A frown set on her lips as her brows creased harshly again. “I still do not believe you, that I have been dead before,” she said. “I fell unconscious at the Battle for Kattegat, and you have kidnapped me. Perhaps I am not even in the Germanic tribes.” She swallowed hard, making sure her voice did not shake, and no nerves were heard in her voice as she spoke again. “My husband will come and find me. You should return me to him before he destroys you and your people.”
She couldn’t see the way the man grimaced. History didn’t know that Ivar the Boneless murdered his wife after her betrayal. After all, she had been found sharing a tomb with him, buried like heroes together, and none of the sons of Ragnar had taken note of how Freydis had died- other than it was the day Björn Ironside took Kattegat. So, with her question, he was hit with the realisation that she didn’t know her husband was dead.
“He… is not a concern to us. We are safe, keeping you here,” he said vaguely. He hoped that Freydis wouldn’t realise anything about Ivar’s passing until she learned it truly was centuries later, and it would only make sense that he was gone, just as she once had been.
This caused Freydis to frown more deeply, and she suddenly stepped quicker to the man, grabbing his shoulder and slamming him into the wall. He immediately pulled away from her as best he could, though he did not escape her. His eyes squeezed tightly shut. Clearly, he was terrified of her.
“Ivar the Boneless will come for me,” she hissed out. “You would be wise to return me to him, entirely unharmed, before he raises up his Great Heathen Army again, to come and rescue his Queen.”
The man was shaking under her. Freydis wondered how little prepared these people must have been, if their men fell apart so easily. She wasn’t even a shieldmaiden, and yet he was terrified of her. “If- if we could get through this tour, I think you would see just what- what I mean about your husband, Your Highness.”
She huffed, and narrowed her eyes. “If you try anything, and he finds out, he will kill you. I’ll be sure of it.”
He nodded enthusiastically, still grimacing and trying to push himself into the wall. “Of course,” he said. “I’ve told you- we are your friends, here. We won’t hurt you.”
“See that you do not, or there will be Hel to pay.”
Eventually, he took Freydis into another strange room. Though this one was still different from all she had seen so far. It was filled with strange slabs of metal, all with moving images on them. People in the funny white coats, including the woman from earlier, were watching these moving images, and writing in a language she couldn’t read.
The images showed men and women strapped down the way she had been, the same strange devices put to their skin, sometimes multiple of them, and various liquids were pushed into them. The woman from earlier soon noticed Freydis’s presence, and she smiled, coming toward her. The Queen backed up immediately, and the woman’s face fell.
“Jeg antar at det er fornuftig at du ikke vil like meg, ikke sant?” she said. Freydis looked up to the man, as he had clearly understood her, and she didn’t understand this woman.
“Doktor Schmidt, sie spricht kein modernes Norwegisch,” the man said. This was yet another language, and Freydis frowned sharply. What the hell were they playing at.
“It is rude to speak in front of a guest in a way they cannot understand you,” she reminded him pointedly. “What are you saying to her, and what is she saying?”
The man turned to Freydis to answer, “I was telling her that you don’t understand modern Norwegian. She doesn’t speak the Old Norse you do, so I’m going to have to translate between you two, I suppose.”
“No need,” Freydis said. “She is the one who has brought me here, is she not? She put that strange liquid in me which took my consciousness. I will not speak to her.”
The man grimaced and relayed what she said to the woman, who pressed her lips together and sighed, before answering him. Freydis’s eyes watched his response intently.
“She is sad to hear this, but understands. Though, she asks your forgiveness for making you sleep earlier. You were beginning to have a panic attack, and she wanted to keep you from going through that.”
The harsh glare Freydis shot the woman revealed she did not have Freydis’s forgiveness. “Anxiety and panic are nothing I have not experienced before,” she said. “I would have been fine.”
Again, he spoke to the woman, but this time she didn’t stay to listen, her eyes catching on one of the moving images. She had seen herself flicker across it. An image of her sitting in a throne, eyes open yet unseeing, hovered in the upper right corner. She looked beautiful, if not… dead. Covering the whole thing was a moving image- the one in the corner was still- of people moving around a woman, strapped to and laid out on a cold… hard…
Gods above… she thought. It was her.
What Freydis was watching was footage of her being brought back to life by these scientists, who were testing various things on her corpse, monitoring her, until an order was given. A shot of something was put straight into her heart by one scientist, and then they all quickly cleared the room. It was then that she woke, and she watched the interaction she had had with the woman- now standing behind her- before she’d been rendered unconscious.
She watched as she was given a shot of a tranquiliser, and fell asleep, and then the image froze. “This is a monitor,” the man at her side said. “We play back videos on it, and can take notes on what we see in them. That video was of you being woken up for the first time- brought back to life. The picture in the corner there, that was your corpse as we found it. You were with your husband, Ivar the Boneless, in a tomb meant for heroes. Preserved. It was… it was incredible, really. To find you both so perfect, even after death. We were thrilled, naturally, and-”
Freydis stopped listening as another one of the ‘monitors’ shifted, and showed a different image that struck her to her core.
Ivar’s corpse, laid out on the same sort of table as she had been, and he was being injected with various things, just as she had been. She hadn’t seen that part of her own footage. She walked away from the scientists again, and up to the monitor, watching as an injection was given to him in his heart, just as had been done to her. The scientists in the room with him cleared out, and just as she lifted her fingers to the screen, her expression unreadable… Ivar the Boneless took a breath.
Freydis promptly passed out, and collapsed to the floor.

Mr. Gold/BelleFrench, Explicit (eventually)
Summary: A Rumbelle arranged marriage AU.
Chapter Summary: Gold and Belle have their dance, and after, a quiet chat.
Notes: IT HAS BEEN 84 YEARS. At least it feels like it. Pretty sure 2020 was like 84 years in a trench coat. Writing was so hard the last few months both because of the state the world, and because work literally went batshit crazy starting in September. But, this is a new year and I feel sort of renewed. No, much about the world hasn't changed magically with the flip of a calendar, yet there is a hopeful vibe to everything. We've seen the bottom and we survived it. Thank you to all who commented on this and any of my fics last year. Rereading comments were sometimes all I had to get me by. <3 I hope you enjoy the start of the never ending sexual tension train that this fic is about to become. ;) You're all going to hate me so much. This is Belle’s dress, for those who are interested.
[AO3]
Belle’s head felt like it was spinning as much as her body.
They came to the end of the room, nearer to the music and the fire, and she felt a flash of the heat as Gold stepped to the side and turned them again. Of course it was tradition for the lord of the estate to start things by leading the first dance, and she should have expected that as his wife she was the obvious and only choice for that, yet she had been momentarily startled when he’d asked. Fortunately, she had recovered and taken his hand in time that nothing appeared outwardly awkward or impolite.
He had quietly suggested a simple waltz, which was quite amenable to Belle. She had remembered the steps adequately for the few seconds they had been dancing, but she was grateful that it was at a slower pace than was typically favored for holidays and festivals. She presumed that was due to his leg which had a tendency to ache after too much movement, and the last thing she would want was for him to be in pain simply because of a dance.
She could feel the warmth of his hand as it held hers and the gentle pressure of the other at her waist; neither was not too tight or too loose, but reassuring and steady. Apart from the impulsive hug she’d given him while they were in Avonlea, it was the only time she had touched him this much. It felt strange, but also oddly comfortable, as if they did this every festival and season at the royal court.
Perhaps we will, she thought. They would need to at least appear to the world as though they were married, even if it was strictly a legal formality. The thought of more dances and social gatherings made her stomach dip, and she let out a shaky breath, wishing she’d had a little more wine to calm her nerves.
Belle’s eyes were fixed on the knot of Gold’s ascot, afraid to look anywhere else lest she forget which foot needed to move next, when she felt him stop. Her momentum carried her back and away from him, his hand slipping from its perch high on her waist as he raised their joined hands up over her head. The motion spun her around, sending her skirt flaring outward at her ankles and butterflies scattering in her stomach. She gasped as she came back towards him, her free hand bracing against his chest.
She let out a giggle of surprise and finally met his eyes, which seemed to sparkle with mutual delight, and she smiled as she moved her arm up to his shoulder.
“There you are,” he said, stepping smoothly to the side and guiding her along as if they hadn’t paused at all. “You seemed preoccupied.”
“Sorry,” she replied, her eyes drifting down the gold stitching of his coat. “I was concentrating so I didn’t step on your toes.”
“Oh, you did that several minutes ago. Hardly hurt at all.”
Belle’s eyes went wide, and as her mouth began to gape open, Gold laughed softly. “I’m teasing.”
She swatted her palm against his shoulder playfully as he spun them around the far end of the room. The moment had lightened considerably, and she felt her muscles relax, and the steps of the dance become automatic. “It has been ages since I’ve danced. I feel out of practice.”
“As do I,” he agreed, a light smirking pulling at his lips. “I don’t make a habit of attending balls.”
She laughed lightly at that, pleased that they seem to agree on that matter. While they would still be seen at occasions together, she did not fear being trotted out for every ball and party in the kingdom.
“Thank you for the dresses,” she said after a long moment.
He smiled. “You’re very welcome.”
“I wasn’t sure which to wear for the evening,” she admitted. “They were all so wonderful.”
Gold’s hand tightened around hers ever so slightly, and she looked up, meeting his eyes. They were soft and warm, and she felt her head spinning again as they made one last round past the musicians.
His throat bobbed above the scarf at his neck as he swallowed and said, “I’m glad you chose the blue.”
Her lips curved and she returned his faint squeeze with one of her own, her hands tensing briefly against both his hand and shoulder.
“It’s my favorite color,” she replied, and felt the hand at her waist shift, pulling her a little bit closer. The song began its conclusion, the pace of the violins slowing, and her head turned one way and then the other, catching only glimpses of the faces watching them. “Everyone is staring at us.”
“No,” he said softly, and she gave him a look. “They’re staring at you.” Her eyes widened, and he seemed to sense her discomfort and smiled reassuringly. “Not that I can blame them; you’re the most beautiful woman in the room.”
Belle’s breath caught, but before she could think of a response, the music ended, the horns fading as the strings played out the last few notes. They came to a stop almost exactly where they had started, in the middle of the room where there was a pattern of inlaid squares in walnut and cherry. Gold caught her eyes with his, right before she felt her body dip backwards. She let herself bend against his arm, his hand firmly splayed at her back, trusting that he wouldn’t let her fall.
It was no more than a second that he held her before he was pulling her upright, the movement as smooth and sure as their dance had been. Her right hand was still in his, her other gripping his arm lightly, and when she looked up, he was gazing down at her with an expression she couldn’t read. Her head felt light again, which she thought must have been from bending and straightening so quickly. She blinked, and inexplicably her eyes drifted down, realizing that his face was quite close to hers, so close that she could feel his breath on her skin.
Light clapping startled Belle and she stepped away, slipping her hand from Gold’s as they turned to face their audience. She found Astrid’s face in the crowd, beaming widely at her, and kept her eyes fixed on her friend as Gold walked them back to their table.
She dropped into her chair, immediately reaching for her glass of wine as several couples stood up and made their way out onto the floor. The music started up again, and she exhaled what felt like a breath she’d held too long. Her lungs seemed to burn and the lightheadedness persisted for several minutes, until Astrid came bounding over with Ruby and the two of them filled the space with idle conversation and gossip. She only half paid attention to it, her eyes following Gold as he made his way around the room to more intimately greet his guests.
The rest of the evening passed in what Belle would describe as a festive blur. Her face hurt from smiling almost as much as her feet hurt from dancing, and she smiled as she wiggled her toes against the plush rug. Her shoes sat to the side on the wood floor between the edge of the rug and the wall, discarded before they could cause any blisters. The last of the guests were leaving in their carriages, or being directed to one of the many guest rooms, and she had taken the opportunity to steal away to the library. It was cool and dark, save for the candles on the mantle and the fire, exactly what she needed after so many hours of being sociable.
Sighing, she pressed her palm to the window overlooking the patio, and then laid it against the back of her neck. Her skin had felt almost feverish from her first dance with Gold all the way through her last with Jefferson. In the middle, she’d whirled around the room with Astrid, Ruby, Leroy, Baeden, and so many others, her head buzzing with wine and sweets. There had been one more dance with Gold towards the end, though it was a line dance where couples traded off partners. She was once again surprised when he asked her, and had feared it would be like their first dance, until she saw the others arranging themselves.
Gold came into the library just as she was pushing both of her hands against the glass and transferring the cold to either side of her neck.
“There you are.”
She twisted and looked over her shoulder with a smile, amused that he’d repeated his earlier words and wondering if he’d even noticed he’d done it. “Sorry, I just needed a minute.”
He nodded. “No matter.”
“Everyone settled?” she asked, pulling her hands away from her skin and rubbing them together to rewarm her fingers.
Another nod, and then he sighed. “Only three rooms in use tonight. Martha Lucas, Miss Lucas, and the Countess. Everyone else has gone home.”
Belle smiled again. “You have very interesting friends.”
His eyebrows lifted and he glanced at her sideways. “I suppose that’s one way of putting it. I apologize if Lady de Vil made you uncomfortable. She can be - an acquired taste.”
She laughed softly and turned to face him, her back towards the chill of the window, which still felt quite nice. “No, she’s - she’s very nice.” He gave her a look, and she added, “If a bit... intense, at times. I think I would like to know her better, as you do.”
Gold smiled at that and nodded. “I’m sure she’d be delighted.”
Silence settled between them as they watched the light snow falling outside, but Belle had the sense that something had changed. There had been something about their dance together, alone in the middle of the ballroom, which felt...significant. It was their first true public appearance as Lord and Lady of the estate, the first time so many people had been watching them, and that combined with what he’d said to her - you’re the most beautiful woman in the room - had left her feeling even more dazed than the wine.
What was stranger still was that she liked it.
“Did you - did you enjoy yourself this evening?” he asked, his voice quiet and almost wavering with uncertainty.
Belle glanced up at him and smiled. “Yes, very much. My feet might not share that opinion, however.”
Gold chuckled softly and nodded towards her empty shoes. “I think my leg agrees with your feet.”
She laughed at that and bent to pick them up, hooking her fingers in the heels. “I couldn’t bear them another minute.”
“I’m not one to judge,” he said. “If mine didn’t have so many laces I’d do the same.”
“Does it hurt much?” she asked, looking sideways at his leg. He wasn’t using his cane, which didn’t necessarily mean he wasn’t in pain, just that he didn’t need it to walk.
Gold shrugged. “Some, but I’m sure Jefferson has already left something out for me to take before bed. I’ll be fine.”
“Good.”
Belle could feel sleep begin to pull at her, her shoes felt heavy in her hand, and her body had that telltale heavy sensation, growing the desire to sink into something soft like a sofa cushion or a mattress. She blinked and then a yawn forced its way up out of her that she only barely muffled with the back of her free hand.
“You should get to bed.”
She looked up at Gold, noticing not for the first time how even without her heels he was not too much taller than she was. When they danced her shoes had made her the perfect height, but even now, standing flat on her feet, she didn’t feel dwarfed by him as she had with Sir Gaston. It was strange to think of such a thing now, but it eased something inside her and made her feel as though with Cameron she was on equal footing. For the first time she felt that they could truly manage this strange marital arrangement, that they could be partners.
“So should you,” she said finally.
“Yes,” came his soft reply.
She turned to leave, but stopped when he said her name, so light it was almost a whisper, and met his eyes. They were as soft as they had been when he’d told her everyone in the room was staring at her. When he had told her she was beautiful. She swallowed and squeezed her fingers where they held her shoes.
“Thank you,” he said, giving her a small smile.
Her head tilted. “Whatever for?”
At that he shrugged and his grin widened, crinkling the corners of his eyes. “I - I don’t know. For dancing with me. For - for being - here.”
She reached out with her free hand and found his hanging at his side. Their fingers slipped together easily, and she gave them a light squeeze. “Of course.” Then she returned his smile. “We should do it again sometime.”
At that he laughed again, and nodded, swinging their joined hands. “Next time I promise to give you fair warning before I spin you around.”
Belle bit her lip and looked down at their hands, replaying the moment in her mind and longing for the fluttering sensation in her belly again. “No,” she said, before lifting her eyes to meet his, “don’t.”
Gold grinned and raised their hands, his thumb brushing over the ring on her finger, the one he’d put there barely more than two months ago. He bent his head, and Belle held her breath as he pressed his lips to the gold band. It was reminiscent of their wedding, except they were quite alone and the touch of his mouth was firmer, lingering for far longer than the brief brush that had propelled them to this point.
“Good night, Belle.” He caught her gaze and held it over the knuckles of her hand before lowering it a moment later.
She felt his thumb move again, this time over the back of her hand before his fingers left her. “Good night,” she managed to say before hurrying from the room.
In the corridor, Belle set her shoes down and pushed her sore feet into them again, bracing against the doorway of the library. She looked back, briefly, to see Gold facing the window, his hands folded behind him, and then blew out a breath. The wine had made her mind too fuzzy, she decided, and it was best not to think too much about the evening’s events until the morning.

Carlos was busy working on something with the three Erlenmeyer flasks filled with clear liquid and the flowers Carlos had requested as it boiled on top of Bunsen burners.
"Care to fill us in now C?" Jay asked impatiently as Carlos did his work.
"The mushroom Dude ate is of the hallucinogenic kind," Carlos answered. "This bulb's extract can ease the victim's hallucination." He explained. "That and I'm also extracting the bulbs' sedating properties." He added. "Or at least most of them."
"Hallo-what?" Jay's eyes narrowed in confusion.
"It causes hallucinations." Evie answered. "Where'd you learn this C?" She asked the other boy in the chemistry room.
"I happened upon someone with the same condition and together we discovered this flower's ability to cure the affliction," Carlos answered the question.
Jay and Evie looked at each other then watched Carlos separate the liquid extract from the dry extract.
"Let's hurry to Dude." Carlos exclaimed as he hurriedly placed the dry powdery extract in a container and capped it with a cork.

"That is what happened during my patrol," Arlus bowed at the elders present. "I deeply apologize for failing to return on schedule."
Carlos looked around, it seemed like Arlus brought him to a palace, the palace's audience chamber. He was surrounded by elderly centaurs, dwarves, dryads, and even satyrs. They made the council of elders in this place.
"At peace General Arlus," One of the elderly centaurs commented. "It is by Aslan's grace that you met a son of Adam during your patrol Arlus," She continued. "However, you may have just confirmed our fears."
"Why don't we make use of the Son of Adam's cure on everyone with this affliction?" An elderly dwarf suggested. "We need to administer them as quickly as possible, that we may restore peace in this land."
"I would really advise against that esteemed elder." Carlos voiced out in a respectful tone. "It may be too dangerous if the mushroom the others ate wasn't the same as that brown closed umbrella-looking mushroom." He cautioned the council.
Let it not be stated that Carlos and the rest of the VKs never learned how to talk to the ruling monarch or council during his stay in Auradon.
Ben may not mind the informality from his peers but, their AK friends, especially the AKs whose parents carrying a huge grudge on their respective villain counterparts, insisted that they learn the etiquette.
It was for their safety after all.
"Why do you say so, milord?" Another elderly dwarf questioned.
"It may do more harm than good," Carlos answered. "From where I came from, people's conditions worsened as soon as they ingest a cure meant for another sickness instead of their own." He shared.
"The Son of Adam makes a good point." One of the elderly dryads voiced her agreement as the others nodded.
"We have eyewitnesses claiming that those who made one tiny bite off of the devil's mushroom suffered the affliction." An elderly satyr relayed.
"Devil's mushroom?"
"It's the mushroom you saw me nib at milord," Arlus answered. "That's what eyewitnesses have also relayed to the council." He shared. "Even when I was cautioned about the toadstool, I was still entranced by its appearance, and for some reason, I was convinced to eat it."
"We have long suspected that magic was involved in those mushrooms," A Naiad commented. "Even those of us who don't eat those toadstools were entranced by it and were convinced to at least nib at them." She added.
Carlos frowned at the information shared. As far as he knew, none of the villains used food to gain an advantage against their enemies. There was Evie's mother, but other than her, no one used food to gain the upper hand.
As much as he wants to go back home, or at least find Ben, he can't, in good conscience, leave these Ainrans to this fate.
"If that is indeed the case, then I am willing to help," Carlos announced. "Just fair warning about the probable harm that this will cause."
"A son of Adam has never lead us astray before." One of the dryads shared.
"Haunted no more When Adam's brain is in fore. Seeing red they shan't be, clear skies they shall see, hauntings will cease and they will know peace." A few of the elders recited.
"We have complete faith in you Son of Adam." The elderly centaur from before smiled.
----------
Mal had just arrived at Evie's Castle when she noticed that the workshop had a sign saying that the business was closed due to an emergency. She opted to enter the castle's main entrance when she heard a dog growling and barking incessantly from inside.
Mal opened the door and went inside her home and followed the sound of barking and growling. She followed the growls up to a closed room she knew was vacant.
"Mal don't enter!" Carlos shouted as he ran up to his friend carrying with him a vial of purple powder.
"Where were you guys?" Mal asked. "What's happening?"
"Dude ate some bad mushroom and he's on a rampage," Carlos explained. "I'll just let him get a whiff of this powder and he'll be fine in a matter of minutes."
"Rampage?" Mal questioned in alarm. "Wait, wha-"
Carlos went inside the room without even registering Mal's response as Jay and Evie entered the castle.
"Carlos don't go in there alone!" Jay managed to yell as soon as the pair got to the hallways.
Jay's words fell on deaf ears as Carlos closed the door and locked it from the inside.
"What's happening?" Mal questioned in confusion.
"We don't know ourselves," Evie admitted. "Dude and Jay came back from their walk as I got Carlos new measurements when the dog fell ill." She narrated.
"That's when Carlos went panic-ky on us." Jay supplied worriedly. "Dude ate some bad mushroom and he got us to pick some flowers and extracted something from them." He finished.
"No." Mal's eyes widened. "This sickness has reached Auradon." She gasped in realization.
"What sickness?" Evie's eyes frowned.
Mal relayed to everyone present what happened in the King's castle.
"That's horrible!" Evie exclaimed.
The room's door opened once more as Carlos, with an unconscious Dude in his hands, got out. He gently carried his canine friend and faced his friends.
The trio looked at the state Carlos was in. His clothes had scratches and bite marks. Tears and dangling threads clung to his shirt's fabric while his pants were relatively unharmed.
"It's too early to assume if Dude's, Timon's, Pumba's, and Phil's case are connected, let alone one and the same." Carlos voiced. "For all we know, it could very well that they ate different kinds of mushroom that produced the same results.
"It couldn't hurt to try the cure you've concocted right?" Evie asked.
"Yes, it does." Carlos shook his head. "That's why it's ill-advised."
"Why?" Jay voiced out.
"They'd suffer overdosing effects," Carlos sighed. "The main ingredient, the only ingredient, for this cure is a plant known for making tranquilizers," He gently petter his unconscious friend. "It's not a guaranteed cure if the mushroom they've ingested is different than the one Dude has eaten."
"I see." Mal frowned.
Carlos was being cautious. Ever since he got out of the isle, he knew that anything in excess is bad for anybody: be it human or otherwise. There was a high chance that the cure for the brown mushroom would simply overdose the people who haven't eaten the mushroom.
Carlos was also cautious for another reason. He knew how the other VKs, who were enjoying their lives in Auradon, would be treated once the cure he made fails.
"If it turns out that what Phil, Timon and, Pumba ate the same mushroom that Dude ingested, then I'd be happy to help." Carlos smiled. "If you don't mind, I'd tuck the little guy in, he's still under the flower's sedating effects."
"Go." Mal nodded. "Go take care of Dude."
As soon as Mal gave her approval, Carlos immediately walked to his room.
"I'll call you later tonight for another fitting Carlos." Evie called out.
Carlos merely nodded in response as he immediately went to his room to tuck his canine confidant on the bed and observe what other side effects the cure had on normal animals. As opposed to the mighty creatures in Ainran.
----------
"Carlos said that Dude ate a brown mushroom that looked like a closed umbrella." Mal explained to her audience.
"And what of the dog?" Rafiki voiced his question. "Was he cured?"
"He's still under the flower's sedative effects," Mal answered. "Carlos is sure that he gave Dude the cure."
"Then what are we waiting for?" Rafiki questioned. "Shouldn't he share his discovery with the rest of the populace instead of hogging it for himself?"
"Tell me esteemed healer, Rafiki," Mal responded after taking a few breaths to calm herself. "What do you think would happen if the cure Carlos has concocted turns out to be a dud?" She questioned. "What then?"
"What are you implying milady?" Rafiki's simian eyes narrowed.
"Not implying anything esteemed healer," Mal replied coolly. "Merely letting you see the bigger picture. Not everything revolves around you, Simba and his subjects." She finished.
"Calm down Mal." Ben placed his hand on his fiancé's shoulder. "I'm sure Rafiki's aware of that." He assured.
"I apologize if I implied something uncomfortable milady." Rafiki bowed. "I think it's worth the risk to administer his cure." He offered. "I assure you no one will think ill of Mr. De Vil if the cure turns out to be, as you say, a dud."
"No!" Mal yelled as her eyes glowed green. "You don't get to make that promise!" She growled. "Not when a misplaced pen is immediately written off as 'stolen by some VK'." She snarled. "Just like what you just did."
"Mal is that true?" Ben asked worriedly.
"Oh dear!" Fairy Godmother gasped. "That won't do! That won't do."
"I understand what Lady Mal is trying to say." Simba voiced out. "Remember Kovu, Rafiki?"
"If I remember right, he's Scar's cub." Rafiki hummed.
"Lady Mal is merely saying that they have a lot more to lose if the cure turns out to be a dud." Simba stated as he glanced at the High King's fiancé. "Mr. De Vil more so than the others."
"I believe there to be more reason than simply prejudice Lady Mal." Lumiere offered. "If I remember correctly and, I'm sure Rafiki is aware of this as well."
"What would that be?"
"Overdose." Evie helpfully supplied as she entered the room before Lumiere closed the door behind her.
"Overdose?"
"Mal, when will you learn to stop making assumptions?" Evie sighed.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Mal pouted. "I'm only thinking of everyone's safety."
"Closing the Isle for good?" Evie raised an eyebrow.
"Then why won't he help Auradon? Everyone?"
"Like I said he's mindful of the victims getting an overdose," Evie placated her best friend. "We may not have known about that concept before Auradon, but it's a huge problem that has lethal consequences."
"Overdose aside, Carlos is not a licensed doctor, not yet at least." Evie stated as she walked towards her friend. "Practicing medicine without a license is illegal." She helpfully supplied. "The medicine Carlos made was for personal use, a small loophole he unconsciously exploited in the hopes of curing his friend as early as possible."
"She's good!" Rafiki whispered to Simba.
"She'd make a good lawyer." Simba agreed.
"Not unless the King gives Carlos the authority and a team of medical professionals to supervise Carlos's work." Evie finished.
"Ben?" Mal looked at the King.
"As much as I hate it, Miss Evie is right," Simba announced. "I think we need to make sure of what my subjects, Timon, Pumba, and Phil have eaten before making any approval regarding Mr. De Vil's cure."
"I have no doubt that it's the same mushroom." Rafiki stated. "However, it can't hurt to confirm things for ourselves."

The TV was on in the background as Quinn prepared lunch. It had been four years since the campaign had ended. Not much had changed. There had not even been an official statement from the king on the matter.
“Prince Ben made a ground-breaking announcement today,” Snow White said from the TV.
“Is he going to wear something other than blue and yellow for once in his life?” she muttered, digging through the fridge for the jam.
“I have decided that as my first decision,” The prince’s voice was a little nervous, but firm. “to allow four children from the Isle” Quinn’s head snapped up and she rushed to the couch. “to come to Auradon for a trial period.”
Quinn stared at the screen as reporters bombarded the young man with questions.
“Dad!” she called, eyes riveted to the screen. “You won’t believe this!”
Dad stepped inside as Prince Ben continued. “I have decided on four children who need our help the most: the children of Maleficent, the Evil Queen, Jafar, and Cruella de Vil.”
There were audible gasps for the reporters. Maleficent was widely considered the worst of all the villains.
“That kid has guts,” said Dad, sitting on the couch beside her.
“What does this mean for the other children of villains on the Isle?” one reporter asked.
“As I said, this is a trial period,” said Prince Ben. “But if it goes well, I am open to allowing more to come to Auradon. Not all at the same time, of course. I know that this is going to make things different around here, but I hope that we can all give these kids a second chance.” He bade the reporters a good day and the screen went back to Snow White, who looked a little paler than usual.
Dad and Quinn stared at each other, a hopeful smile spreading over Quinn’s face.
“This is unbelievable!” Quinn exclaimed. “Do you think the campaign had something to do with this?”
“Absolutely,” Dad said. “Where else would he have gotten the idea?”
Quinn looked back at the television, where they were now displaying the mug shots of the four villains whose children would soon be in Auradon.
“Let’s just hope those kids behave themselves,” she said.
•••
In the years since the fateful press conference and the fallout from it, Quinn had tried to retreat from the public eye. She spent nearly all of her time either in Sherwood or the Underground, passing through Auradon City with eyes on the cobbled streets, avoiding the gaze of anyone around her. People still recognized her, but fortunately mostly avoided her.
She had shut down all of her social media and lived reasonably contentedly with her old friends from Sherwood – many of whom had moved to the Underground – and new friends from the Underground. She helped Chloe run the shop and helped behind the scenes with Undergrounder campaigns, knowing that her association with any cause would harm it.
Occasionally she still watched the footage from the Isle, but less and less. It began to just make her sad, seeing them all living their lives in a harmful environment that she was unable to save them from.
•••
There had been quite a lot of drama at the coronation, but in the end, the VKs had behaved admirably, defeating Maleficent and saving everybody. While everyone had been frozen during the confrontation, the cameras kept rolling. Quinn watched it back many times and could help but tear up every time at their bravery. And, true to his word, the newly coronated King Ben had announced that he was working on a plan for the other children of the Isle. Quinn hoped he knew what he was doing and that his advisors would have their best interests at heart.
One afternoon, after she had closed the shop early, Quinn decided to request an audience with the king. She knew probably would not get to speak with him, but she had to try. She at least had more chance with him than she had with his father.
To her surprise, an hour later Quinn found herself standing at the door of a conference room in the palace. A guard opened the door and she stepped into the room.
King Ben and Mal, his girlfriend, stood at the far end of the room, speaking in low tones. They looked up when they head the door. Mal had grown up since Quinn last saw her, but she still had the look of a VK – on guard, vigilant.
King Ben strode over. “It is so good to meet you, Miss Little,” he said, holding out his hand.
“Thank you so much for hearing me, Your Majesty,” Quinn said, shaking his hand.
“Please call me Ben,” he said and then turned to the purple-haired teenage girl beside him. “And this is Mal.”
Quinn smiled. “Oh, yes, I’ve heard of you.” She shook Mal’s hand. “You are a brave young woman.”
“Thank you,” she said, looking at Quinn curiously.
They sat down and Mal said, “I’m sorry, do I know you from somewhere?”
Quinn froze for a moment but quickly recovered. “I headed up a campaign for villain kids a few years ago.”
Her eyebrows rose. “Really?”
“It did not have the greatest reception.”
“I can imagine,” said Mal.
“And I apologize for my parents’ lack of response to your campaign,” King Ben said quickly. “While I respect them, they are old-fashioned.”
“Thank you,” Quinn said. “That means a lot.”
“So, what did you want to discuss with me?” he asked.
Taking a breath, Quinn went over the points in her head. “So, I realize that you are focusing on the younger children of villains, which I understand. They are in the most need of help. However, I would like to suggest a program for the adult children of villains, like me.”
Mal’s eyes widened. “You’re a VK?”
Quinn nodded. “My biological father was Captain Hook’s first mate, Mr. Starkey, but I was raised here in Auradon.”
“A lot of the news coverage of you and your campaign was blocked on the Isle,” Ben added as an explanation.
“Anyway,” Quinn said, getting back to her main point. “I realize that the program will look very different, but I am happy to offer any assistance. I still have some resources and outlets and people who supported my cause.”
Ben nodded and turned to Mal. They exchanged a few micro-expressions and the turned back to Quinn.
“I’ll have to discuss it with my council,” he said. “But I think you can start reaching out to contacts and supporters now. I want you to be one of the people heading up the committee.”
•••
With the support of the crown, starting up the campaign was easier. Since the four VKs’ defeat of Maleficent and subsequent saving of Ben had been less than six months ago, the public was much more amicable to the idea of letting VKs come to Auradon.
Quinn worked in the background for the first while, agreeing that Mal, Evie, Jay, and Carlos should be the faces of the revitalized organization. So, she worked logistics, drafting plans on how they would actually get the kids to Auradon – how they could sign up, how they could prevent their parents’ interference, etc. All of the original members of Think of the Children showed up to help, plus so many more. They also drafted proposals to be sent to government ministries – especially the Ministry of Education – so that more of Auradon could change as well.
The first day she worked closely with the four VKs, Carlos pulled her aside. “Thank you for helping me and Jay that one time,” he said earnestly. He had grown up from that little blond kid she had met on the Isle – for one he was taller than her – but he had kept his sweet earnestness.
Quinn smiled. “I think you more than paid me back for that.”
“So this is why you came back?” he asked, gesturing around at the room full of people working hard. “To get all of us to Auradon.”
She nodded. “Yeah.”
He smiled. “Thanks.
Mal had also spoken to her briefly, after realizing who she was. “The Crew really changed after the whooping cough died down – after you left, I guess. They still had to fight, obviously, but they opened their doors to any kid who didn’t want to stay at home. They helped with schoolwork and taught first aid and everything.”
Quinn smiled. “I know that’s what Jax wanted the Crew to be. I’m glad he could make it happen.” She had wanted to ask about him, about all of them. How they were doing, what they were like. She wanted to hear everything about Jukes, how tall Jade was now, how Hugo was doing, what Blake was like. She had not quite realized how much she had missed everybody until she spoke with VKs who had known them. Instead, she said, “I’m sorry for trying to kidnap you.”
She shrugged. “We all did what we had to do over there. Don’t worry about it.” Mal was about to turn away but then looked back. “People still wonder what happened to you. A lot of people think you died and that’s why Jax changed the Crew.” She looked at her curiously. “You two were a fling, weren’t you?”
And Quinn had to stop herself from asking if he was seeing anyone. “Yeah.”
With every day that crept closer to a final draft of a plan, Quinn imagined seeing everyone again. She hoped they would all sign up, and not just the Crew; every VK needed a safe place, from the stifled kids from the Innocents and the Socialites to the girls from the Queens, angry at their bigoted parents and taking it out on the world, to every other kid who just needed to be away from the destructive presence of their parents.
•••
Finally, a plan was approved and the four VKs were dispatched to the Isle to spread the word. Quinn had wanted desperately to join them, but no one was supposed to know she had gone to the Isle, so she stayed behind.
And soon it was the night before the ship carrying all the VKs from the first wave of signups to Auradon would arrive, and Mark had invited her over to his apartment since she would not be getting any sleep anyway. They made tea and sat on the balcony overlooking the street.
“How likely do you think it is that Jax and I will still, you know, click?” Quinn asked finally, voicing the question that had been plaguing her. She was not worried about seeing Jukes or Nia or Nabil or Hugo or Sheela or any of the others.
“You guys went through a lot together,” Mark said. “There’ll probably still be some kind of affinity there, whether or not you pick up where you left off.” He looked over at her. “Is that all you’re worried about?”
“I know it’s super cheesy or whatever,” Quinn said. “But everything else has been handled and discussed. There wasn’t exactly a ‘Jax and Quinn’s relationship’ subcategory in the official plan.” She leaned back on the couch. “It’s been five years since we last saw each other. I was eighteen; we were kids.” When she looked over at him, she saw he was smiling. “What?”
“I never thought I’d see you, Quinn Little, who rolled her eyes and pretended to gag at me during the romantic parts of school plays, moping on the couch, wondering if a boy likes her.”
Quinn groaned and hit him with a pillow. “I am not moping. I just… I’ve missed him and…”
His smile widened. “You’ve missed him,” he said in an exaggerated tone. “Your high school sweetheart, your first time, your soul–”
“You’re not being very helpful or supportive.”
“Okay, sorry, sorry,” he said holding up his hands and trying to stifle his smile. “I think you should try to stop thinking about it since that won’t make a difference either way. I’m sure when you see him tomorrow, you’ll just... know, you know?”
•••
The day finally came. They had decided to do it in the summer, right after school let out, so the dorms at Auradon Prep would be empty. After a month or so of medical checkups and some much-needed counselling, the underage VKs would be sent to host families. A lot of VKs would be going to Sherwood and the Underground, the latter of which had nearly entirely opened up with the new high approval of the Think of the Children organization.
An empty apartment complex in the Underground had been put forward – by a unanimous vote of the Underground Council – to house the adult VKs. Quinn already knew Jax’s future address: apartment 5D.
Everything was ready. Quinn donned her old leather jacket and took a breath in the front of the mirror. She did not feel quite as giddy as she had expected, but that owed mostly to her not being able to entirely believe this was happening.
Chloe drove her, Mark, and a few others down to the shipyard. As they pulled up, Quinn saw that a crowd had gathered and for a moment her heart sank. But then she saw the ‘Welcome Home’ signs and realized that maybe things had really begun to change for the better in Auradon.
She had avoided crowds since restarted the campaign and although she knew their approval rating, numbers did not quite do what seeing the crowd of happy, welcoming Auradonians did to her.
Kids began to pour off the ship, chattering excitedly. Quinn searched the faces, recognizing some, but hardly any of the younger ones, reminding her once again of how long it had been.
In the back of her mind, she knew it would look odd to greet anyone with familiarity, but when Sheela came out of nowhere for a hug, she could hardly refuse her. Most of the Crew came through together and Quinn greeted them all, promising to catch up after they had settled in.
Jukes grinned at her after they had hugged. “Gotta say, I was doubtful, but you pulled it off.” They were nearly pulled along by the crowd. “Let’s get a drink later, and you can tell me all about it.”
Jade came by, taller than Quinn now, and grasped her hand tightly. “Thank you,” she said earnestly.
And there he was: confident swagger, red leather jacket, and all. Jade followed her gaze and grinned. “He was uncharacteristically quiet on the way. I think he was nervous.”
Jax looked at Quinn, eyes filled with so much happiness and love and pride, she thought that if she kicked the bucket right now, she would die a happy woman.
“I wasn’t nervous,” he said, with exaggerated cockiness. “I was rehearsing a very long, very romantic speech.”
Quinn smiled and rushed at him, jumping into a hug that nearly knocked him over. Jax held her tight as Quinn inhaled deeply, smiling as Jax did the same, and they relaxed into each other’s arms. He smelled like leather, sea spray, and him, like before.
“You did it,” he whispered into her hair, with a tone that said he never doubted her for a second.
“I missed you,” Quinn breathed.
He pulled back, looking in her eyes like they were the most important things in the world. “Of course, you did, who wouldn’t?”
Quinn laughed, eyes filling a little with happy tears. “You haven’t changed a bit.”
“I hope I did change a bit,” he said earnestly. “We tried to do etiquette and politeness lessons to prepare.” He grinned. “I missed you too.”
And Quinn did not think about whether anyone could see them, or what they would think, she just leaned in and kissed him. Jax pulled her close and Quinn looped her arms around his neck. Quinn kissed him with all the love she realized she had for him after leaving, and all the love that had flooded in when she saw his face again. Jax held her like he never wanted to let go, and Quinn loved him all the more for it.
For a moment, time stood still, a snapshot that Quinn wanted to remember. Kissing like the end of a movie in a crowd of friends and acquaintances who now had a shot at a better life. After years of hard work and disappointments, here they were, together again.
Perhaps that was the one thing fairytales got right, Quinn mused absently; if you work hard enough for the right thing, you will eventually succeed.

Uncle
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
So @oiseaunoir11 and I were chatting and I threw this idea into the void and he really liked it so here I am starting to write a Twisted Wonderland drabble story with an OC I made on the spot. Al this may involve Morad. Also this might involve @edda-blattfe HC about Rook so CW for Implied Abuse towards like... The end? And @twistedwonderlandimagines HC about Pomefiore vs. Savanaclaw. Rated T for like... One swear?
Uncle
Vil sleepily walked through the halls of Night Raven college. He had gotten a late night notice from Sam (although he's still questioning how the shopkeeper got into the dorm) that someone was waiting for him in the front office.
Headmaster Crowley's office, specifically.
Needless to say, he was a bit confused and pissed (who dare wake up the beautiful Vil Schoenheit?), but he went regardless, never changing out of his pajamas.
He finally reached the door, and rapped on it three times.
"Come in." he heard the Headmaster speak from inside. Vil entered, only to be nearly tackled by a hug.
"Vil, my dear little brother, it's so good to SEE you!"
Oh by the Evil Queen no.
"Phillis?" Vil raised a sleepy eyebrow at his brother.
Phillis was much taller than Vil, and looked nothing like him. He had pitch black hair, his eyes a sweet warm brown, and skin much paler than his, but cheeks having a beautiful rosy hue.
"That would be me, Vil! Thank you for stopping by, I was worried you'd continue your beauty sleep."
"I nearly did..." he peeked behind his elder brother to see a woman holding something wrapped in a blanket. "Oh, Casanine! You're here too?"
Casanine giggled softly, "Of course, Vil, you should know by now that my husband and I are joined at the hip!"
Casanine was nothing short of a doll. Her face was round and delicate, and her whole body was like china. She, too, had jet black hair that reached to her mid back. But instead of brown eyes like his brother, hers were a piercing blue.
Crowley cleared his throat as to gain their attention.
"Mr. Schoenheit, I believe you have something important to tell your brother?" he pressed.
"Oh! Yes!" Phillis suddenly grabbed Vil's shoulders lightly.
"We need you to look after Ebony."
There was a silence. Vil wasn't quite sure he'd heard right. Was he still asleep?
"Wh-What?" he stuttered. Phillis shook his head, bowing in apology.
"I know, I know, it's far too early, and you probably have quite a lot of work to do, but Cas and I have major tests till Friday, and my school rules state we can't bring our kids during those kinds of tests."
"But doesn't she have school?"
"No, it's Heroes Week, she's off of school for now."
"So I'm...."
"Babysitter from today through Thursday, yes Vil."
Phillis then picked a bag up off the floor, offering it to Vil.
"She's got her blanket, her stuffed bird, some snacks in case she doesn't want anything here, pajamas, spare clothes, toothbrush and paste, medicine and bandaids, and some storybooks in case she has a rough night."
Vil took the bag and slung it over his head and onto his shoulder. He then held out his arms to Casanine, who carefully handed him the little blanketed bundle that was his niece. She stirred a bit, looking up at her uncle.
"Uncle Vil?" she said, in a cute yet groggy and sleepy voice as she looked up at him with equally sleepy doe eyes.
"Good morning, Ebony~" he cooed, stroking her bobbed black hair before turning back to his elder brother and sister in law.
"You two go home and get some rest before testing. I'll take care of her."
"Thank you SO much, Vil," Casanine smiled, "This means the world to us!"
"Not a problem, Cas."
And with that, Vil left for his dorm, Ebony lightly snoring all the way.
--- --- ---
The next morning was hectic. Vil was the last one still asleep, and Rook was getting everyone ready. He left for Vil's private room for a moment, pounding on the door four loud times. He put his ear to the door.
"Uncle Vil! You're being robbed!" he heard a far too loud whisper.
Rook raised an eyebrow before Epel came by.
"Has he still not answered?"
"No, but I heard someone in there...
They put their ears to the door once more.
"Uncle Vil! There's two! Wake up!"
A rustle of sheets. Silence. A hurried rustle of sheets. Then Vil, quite loudly:
"I slept in! Oh by the GREAT SEVEN, I am laTE! Sweetheart, see who's at the door!"
Rook and Epel were surprised to hear the word 'Sweetheart'. They stepped back to allow said "Sweetheart" to open the door.
The large wooden door was opened, but Rook and Epel saw nothing.
"Uncle Vil, are these your fends or should I gab a boom?"
The duo jumped and looked down to see a small child, probably elementary school aged. She was pale, had shiny, bobbed black hair, and big blue eyes that looked far too big for her head.
"Rs, Ebony, remember to practice your Rs." Vil ignored the question, finally tying up his sash and grabbing a small, short sleeved denim jumpsuit from the bag on the floor. Ebony puffed her cheeks a little, then tried again.
"Are. These. Your. FrrrrrrIENDSSSSS... Or. should. I. GrrrrrrrAb. A brrrrrrOOOOOOm?"
Vil gave her a small smile, "They're friends sweetheart. Now go put this on, quickly, so we can get you something to eat as fast as possible!"
"Okay! You look RRReally pretty today Uncle Vil!" Grinning, the child grabbed the jumpsuit and ran to the bathroom to change. Vil looked at the gaping mouths belonging to Rook and Epel.
"My niece." he said, only causing the mouths to gape further.
Ebony was soon out of the bathroom, making a beeline for her pair of laced, red tennis shoes and purple socks. Vil glanced at the clock. They had 15 minutes to get to the Mostro Lounge to probably grab a quick bite before his classes.
"Ebony, honey, do you need help tying-"
"No thank you! Watch!" the child grew a cat like grin before quickly tying her shoelaces, "Look Uncle Vil! I did it!"
"Ahh! Look at you, tying them all by yourself!" Vil squealed as Ebony got the other shoe tied, "Such a big girl, I'm so proud! Now come along, let's go get something to nibble on!"
She grabbed her stuffed bird as he gently took her tiny hand before pulling her alongside him, Rook and Epel following close behind.
Upon entering the common room, there was an explosion of "Awwww!"s and "So cute!"s among the students. Vil paused for a bit.
"Everyone! This is my niece: Ebony Black Schoenheit, her parents can't take her to their school due to testing, so we have to care for her, understood!?"
A collective "Yes Dorm Master" was heard before Vil rushed out, niece in tow.
By some damn miracle, they made it to the cafe with 10 minutes to spare and at a minimal line. When they got to the counter, Azul took a quick glance at Ebony.
"Heroes Week?" he guessed. Vil was slightly taken aback at the guess.
"Yes, actually, how'd you guess? Oh, and two of the chocolate croissants if you can, Azul."
Ebony suddenly gasped, peeking into the glass cake cabinet.
"Morad!" she squealed, dashing behind the counter before Vil could catch her. Ebony practically tackled the poor, unfortunate child to the ground in a hug.
"Ah! Ebony!!" Morad squealed with equal delight upon realizing who was hugging him.
"Morad, get off the floor, you might trip someone." Azul asked politely, the two children getting up quickly, "Is this the Little Miss Ebony you've told me so much about?
Ebony grinned and bounced about, "Moraaad! You did tell your big bother about me!"
"Ebony, dear, I know you're having fun, but Uncle Vil needs to get to class!"
"Okay! Who's your fist class?"
"My FIRST class is Potions with Professor Crewel."
"Boom boom class?"
"Yes, Ebony, boom boom class."
"YAY!!" Ebony burst into a fit of giggles as she ran to her uncle, who handed her one of the croissants as they walked out the door.
--- --- ---
When they walked in, just as the bell rang, Divus spoke.
"Mr. Schoenheit, is there a reason you're bringing a child to my class?"
"My apologies, Professor, my brother and his wife had their own classes to go to, and they couldn't bring her today."
Cater went wide eyed, "You have a brother??"
"Yes, put a sock in it, Cater!"
"That's enough." Divus raised a hand, "Very well. As long as she doesn't get too close to any potions."
Ebony suddenly hugged the professor.
The room was silent.
Then a muffled voice came from the depths of his fur coat.
"Fluffyyyyyyy~~."
For the entirety of Potions class, Ebony practically stuck like glue to Divus, playing with his coat and occasionally asking her uncle what he was brewing. There was only one explosion throughout the lesson, which made her scream (and sent her into a concerningly gleeful frenzy).
Once that class was over, Vil gave her a key.
"Ebony, sweetie, go grab your blanket, my next class is going to be Professor Trein, he's a bit boring. Do you remember where it is?"
"Yep! On your bed!"
"Good. And if you get lost, you know what to do?"
"Find somebody and be caful."
Vil kissed her forehead and patted it, "Yes, find someone and be careful. I love you."
Ebony giggled, running off to the Pomefiore dorm as Vil went to History, only hoping that his niece would make it to both the dorm and class safely.
--- --- ---
Kalim and Jamil were just coming from the infirmary. Kalim had fallen off his broom during flight class and had needed to go get a few bones healed by the nurse. As they walked through the halls, they heard a little voice.
"E-Excuse me!"
They turned to see a little girl, holding a blanket and stuffed bird, trembling a few feet behind them.
"Hey kiddo!" Kalim grinned, "Something you need?"
"D-Do you know where M-Mr. Trein's class is?"
Kalim and Jamil glanced at each other. Was this Mozus' granddaughter or something?
"Yeah!" Kalim answered, "We're headed there now actually! You wanna come?"
She said nothing, only grabbing Kalim's hand and staying close.
Mozus was in the middle of a lecture when they came in.
"Mr. Viper. Mr. Al-Asim." he said, eyes brooding, "You are late."
"Yep! Nurse." Kalim chirped, handing his professor his and Jamil's late passes.
"And what of this child?" Mozus pressed.
"They finally adopted!" Floyd shouted from the back of the class, sending a small ripple of giggles throughout the classroom.
Ebony suddenly let go of Kalim's hand, making a beeline for her zoning out uncle. He only snapped out of it once Ebony started shaking him and squeaking a whisper.
"Uncle ViL!"
"Ebony! Oh Ebony, baby, what's wrong?"
Ebony nuzzled deep into Vil's chest before looking up at him with nearly falling tears and failing a whispered whimper.
"I DOn't liKE THE SHot scAy rED maaaaaaaN!"
The room was silent as only one thought ran thought ran through Vil Schoenheit's mind.
I am going to fucking murder Riddle Rosehearts.
"Mista, may I pet your kitty?" Ebony's attention was immediately taken by Lucius lazing about on Mozus' desk, all fear vanishing into piqued curiosity.
The class held their breath. Surely Mozus Trein had enough heart to-
"Absolutely not."
One could almost hear the imaginary mirror shatter into a thousand pieces.
"Aww... Okay!" Ebony piped, not seeming bothered as she snuggled into her stuffed bird and put the blanket over her shoulders.
Vil rubbed her back before Mozus continued his lecture.
---
15 minutes left. 15 minutes and he'd be out of this hell with Ebony in tow.
Vil was having much more trouble staying awake during Professor Trein's lecture on the History of Sirens. It also didn't help that he was constantly distracted by his niece's blanket, which just didn't want to stay over her shoulders.
He suddenly realized that he couldn't find Lucius. He wasn't on the desk, nor playing with some books in the storage room, so where...?
He heard a soft purr to his right, and he glanced over to see...
"Lucius, let the child sleep." Mozus interrupted himself for but a minute before continuing. He didn't get far though, as Lucius continued to seemingly nip at Ebony's hair. "Lucius! Let her sleep!"
Lucius suddenly grabbed a corner of the blanket, dragging it over her shoulder and tucking it in with his paws. He grabbed the other corner and repeated the process. Then, after the cat seemed satisfied with his work, he curled up, cuddling near Ebony's head.
Silence.
"Ahem! So, c-can anyone here, tell me, whyyyyyy-" Mozus struggled to keep his composure and continue the lesson. Several jaws nearly dropped.
The man had a weakness.
And they just found it.
Even once that class ended, Ebony was still asleep, so Vil loosely wrapped the blanket around her before picking her and his bags up, walking to the mess hall.
About halfway there, she stirred awake.
"Where are we going Uncle Vil?"
"Lunch, honey. Do you want me to put you down?"
"No thank you. Unless it helps you walk! Wait..." she suddenly hugged his neck, "Will the scay red man be there?"
Vil patted her head, "Yes, sweetheart. But don't worry!" he gave her a small, playfully happy pout, "Uncle Vil will take care of the scary short red man for you, okay?" he tickled her a little on the neck, sending her into a giggle frenzy.
"Okay! You're so strong Uncle Vil! And so pretty!"
They made it to the mess hall, and Vil sat his niece beside Rook. He then told Ebony:
"What did the scary man do, honey?"
"He sceamed 'Off with your head!', and I didn't know if he meant me."
"Okay, so Uncle Vil's going to fight the scary red man okay?"
Ebony started to tear up, "Please don't die Uncle..." she whimpered, bottom lip quivering. Vil kissed her forehead.
"I won't, Ebony sweetie. Go play with Morad! Maybe that will help."
And he rushed to the Heartzlabyul table while Ebony went to the Octavinelle table on the other side of the room.
"RIDDLLLLLEE!" Vil yelled, making the monarch nearly choke on his cupcake. He turned around with a fierce scowl.
"Schoenheit, how dare you yell at-"
"Do you want to explain why you were screaming in the hall?"
"My dorm members were being disrespectful!"
"Really!? Cause you done scared the shit out of my niece because she thought you were talking to her!"
Riddle was silent for a moment.
"You have a niece? How old?"
"Five, soon to be six. Wait no that wasn't the point of this conversation!"
Riddle went pale.
"Oh... I-"
Riddle paused. The words he were about to say felt so weird!
"I'm sorry. Is there a way I could make it up?"
"Yes, actually." Vil whispered something into Riddle's ear. Riddle let loose a small smile.
"Of course, Vil! I'll see to it by tonight!"
"Good. Now, I'm going back to my ta-"
"VIL!"
Vil snapped his attention to the voice, Epel quickly hurrying to him.
"Savanaclaw has Ebony!" he said, clearly panicking.
"Is she hurt?" Vil asked.
"Not yet!"
"Then what's wrong?"
"Y-You're not worried?"
Vil sighed, "One thing my brother taught me and his kid is that your decisions are no one else's but your own, and that as long as it doesn't harm yourself and others, be it in the short or long run, go for it. Trust your gut too."
Epel listened carefully to these words.
“So even if I hate those beasts’ guts, as long as Ebony is safe, I’m fine.
There was then a sudden scream.
"Uncle Vil!! Look!!! I'M SO HIGH!!!"
Vil looked over to see his niece on the first year's, Jack's, shoulders, eyes wide and face in utter joy.
The Pomefiore Dorm Leader and the Savanaclaw Dorm Leader locked eyes.
And suddenly Leona knew.
And Vil knew that Leona knew.
Leona looked at Ebony and seemed to tell her something. She frowned, but almost immediately perked up again before asking Jack something. He seemed hesitant, but eventually gave in to her smile and started walking towards Vil.
"So she's yours?" he asked.
"My niece, but yes." Vil smiled, "I see she already adores you. Must be the ears; she's always had an immense love for animals and anything animal-esque. Kemonomimis, Anthros, the like."
"Uncle Vil, Uncle Vil! I met a little blue fie haid boy!"
"A blue fire haired boy? Was his name Ortho or Idia?"
"His name was ORRRRtho and Morad said that they were bOOOOOOOYYfeeeeeeeends!"
Vil nearly dropped his niece as Jack passed her.
"Really now?"
"Yep! I didn't have the hot to ask him if he knew what that meant."
Vil chuckled. He had known Ebony knew what a boyfriend was, he was just glad she didn't flaunt her knowledge.
"You sure you're alright with her coming over to your our table?" Jack scratched the back of his neck a little.
"As long as you don't harm her, I see no problem."
"You seem like a good uncle."
Ebony hugged Vil tightly, "He is! Uncle Vil is the prettiest, bestest, funnest uncle ever!"
Vil felt himself blush and grin.
"Alright, alright, let's go back and eat lunch."
"Alighty!" Ebony chirped.
As they walked back, Jack heard Ebony fail to whisper.
"Uncle Vil, their eas were so FLUFFYYYY~!"
--- --- ---
After lunch was flight class with Mr. Vargas. As Ebony stayed outside the changing rooms, Ashton approached her.
"Hey there!" he squatted to get eye level with her, "You wanna fly today?"
The child giggled.
"Uncle Vil says I'm too little, sir!"
"Aww." Ashton made a childish pout, "Well, I hope I can see you flying in my class someday!"
Ebony giggled again, bouncing up and down as Vil came out of the dressing room, holding a broom.
"Ebony, can you stay with Mr. Vargas while I take today's lesson?"
"Okay!"
And that she did the entire class period, watching students zoom around on their brooms and cheering people on as they did a small race and game after lessons.
They walked back to the Pomefiore dorm, the rest of the day to themselves.
"Uncle Vil, may I have some chocolate?"
The man in question turned to see why his niece had asked such a question. He stiffened as he saw her staring into the windows of Mr. S's Mystery Shop.
"It's closed, Ebony sweetie."
The child whipped her head around, the look upon her face screaming "I'm not amused, now try again."
"It's fo-thity, Uncle, we have time."
"Yes, but it's very dangerous to go inside after three thirty."
"Why?"
"Demons."
"Well, they won't mind if we're only in there for a LITTLE bit, right?"
Vil looked at the pleading eyes of the child he cared for.
"Ebony Black Schoenheit, you know I can't handle those puppy eyes please stop."
Ebony continued, eyes almost seeming to get bigger and bigger.
"Fine..." Vil sighed in defeat, "Which one would you like?"
"Dawk chocolate!"
"Dark chocolate? A very good choice!"
"Really?"
"Yes! Why, did you know that that's healthier than the normal chocolate? Milk chocolate?"
"Really!? Wow! So... is it a healthy that it will make me as pretty as you, Uncle Vil?"
The dorm leader squatted to caress his niece's face, "Ebony. Ebony, my sweet little apple." he kissed her forehead, "You are already twice as pretty as I am. Cherish that."
With Ebony giggling, the family entered the store, the smaller one making a beeline for the seemingly specific bar she wanted before rushing to the counter.
"Why, hello, little lady! Are you paying for that?"
Ebony's smile died into a look of realization.
"Oh yeah I need money."
"Which is exactly why I'm here." Vil placed some bills on the counter, Sam handing the change back to Vil, who, in turn, gave it to Ebony to keep. They exited without a hitch.
--- --- ---
When it was time for bed, and Ebony was in her pajamas, she brought Rook a small book as he sat on the couch.
"Uncle Vil is aleady asleep. He had a vey tied day."
"A very tired day, you say? So you want me to read Sleeping Beauty to you?"
"Yeah! It's the only stoy about one of the Seven Heoes I like. Oh, but you have to stop after the Prince kisses her. Uncle Vil does that with ALLLL my stoies."
So Rook read to that part, closing the book.
"Now?" he asked.
"The kiss didn't work!" Ebony piped.
Rook was taken aback at her answer.
"Then what happened? How did Miss Aurora wake up?"
"Welllll...." Ebony pondered her answer, "I like to think her mommy and daddy found out. They were vey sad, so they visited her. Then they kissed her forehead to say goodbye..."
She seemed sad for a bit before perking up.
"But then she woke up! Do you know why?"
"I don't think I do! Enlighten me!" Rook asked with exaggerated and childish interest.
"Because a good mommy and daddy's love is REAL true love!"
She suddenly hugged Rook for but a second, recoiling almost instantly.
"Ow..." She whined, and Rook looked down in time to see a small ball of light disappear...
And her fingertips grow pitch black.
A fierce, unbearable cold that nipped her fingers to make them look like his.
"Your... Daddy did that to you?"
Rook noticed that Ebony's eyes had become his shade of green. It didn't last long, however; her eyes were soon back to blue and her fingertips normal.
"That's... That's not nice... Daddies shouldn't do that!"
"You saw?" Rook didn't mean to sound angry with Ebony, but... he really didn't want her telling.
"Yeah. Mommy says it's my hero power- what's gonna get me into a big school like Uncle Vil. I don't really get it though..."
There was a silence.
"Have you told him?"
"Who?"
"My uncle! Isn't he your friend?"
"Would you?"
Ebony nodded, "Yeah! I trust him!"
Rook thought for a bit.
"Well, what if you didn't trust anyone?"
Ebony took this question into consideration.
"... I'd make friends." she said, "Then I'd spend time with them so that I can know to trust them or not.”
More silence.
“Hey, you have to pomise me something.” Ebony suddenly stood on the bed so that she was somewhat eye level with the huntsman.
“And what do I have to promise you, Little Miss Schoenheit?”
“That by the time I get to big school, you’ll have told somebody.”
She held out her pinky and waited, presumably for Rook.
“Pomise?”
He contemplated, looking at the hand outstretched in front of him. Finally, with a small smile and tears at his eyes, he wrapped his own pinky around hers.
“Promise.”
--- --- ---
The week went by almost too fast. Soon, Ebony’s parents returned from school for their daughter. As they stood in the front hall, Vil assuring his brother that everything had worked out fine, Ebony suddenly hid behind her mother.
“What’s wrong, Ebby, love?” Casanine asked.
“It’s the scay red man, Mommy!” the child whispered.
Riddle approached them and knelt down, “It’s okay! I’m not gonna scare you this time!” he smiled.
He pulled out a small box and retrieved something from inside it.
It was a miniature cupcake with red icing.
“I heard it’s almost your birthday, so I asked this to be made for you. Do you want it?”
Ebony’s eyes widened, almost sparkling with curiosity. She slowly came out from behind her mother and shuffled up to the monarch. Grabbing the treat with a delicate hand, she then scurried back, this time hiding behind her father.
“Thank you!” she said once behind Phillis. Riddle got up from his knee, then bowing a little before heading back to where he had come from.
Phillis suddenly hugged Vil, who slightly recoiled at the touch before hugging back.
“Thanks, Vil. Ebony seems like she had fun. Any chance you could watch over her again?”
“Perhaps.” Vil smiled, “If Ebony wants to stop by again, that’s fine!”
At the mention of a possibility, the little girl nodded feverishly.
“Yes!”
