I had a friend in high school that I think was in a one-sided dependent relationship with me and sometimes I lie awake at night wondering if they were in love with me or not

So. Not to be looking too far ahead.

But.

Matt is the original Critical Role DM. He then was a PC in ExU, which Aabria DMed. She then was a PC in ExU Calamity, which Brennan DMed.

The only two main CR cast members who haven’t done ExU are Laura and Taliesin.

So this summer, I would love another ExU with a new DM, and Brennen, Laura, and Taliesin as PCs.

I want to see it.

is something falling down the side of my bed one too many times really going to be the driving force of me moving out of this shithole

#my phone has fallen and i can't reach it so if anyone is trying to message me it will be late tomorrow before there is even a chance i c it #desktop version won't display messages anymore so yah #(i clicked something by mistake via ublock origin ages ago and idk what i did so i can't reverse it to be able to view messages again)#it used to be so rare that shit would fall down the side of the bed now it happens at least once a month and it's a nightmare to fetch #whatever it is that's fallen (usually one wireless earphone or my phone) due to the shite layout of the room (nothing can be moved anywhere #i can view and answer asks via inbox just not dm/pm

having rewatched season one in its entirety my chief fear for season five of stranger things is the end of the final episode will be where they reveal the entire story has just been a dnd campaign the entire time, echoing the finale of season one (sort of like the hollow season one but worse actually). and they call out all the plot holes and fan theories in a terrible Wink Wink Nudge Nudge slash Fuck You moment to the audience, thus actively undoing all meaning and impact and symbolism in the entire show. and robin wasn't even real.

#stranger things #im sure the core party would be like the players and mike the dm to have a callback to how the show started and how s1 ended #but also consider my nightmare scenario: its the duffer brothers

watching rome read crime and punishment is reminding me of my favorite scene in that book in which raskolnikov passes out in a bush after drinking a wine glass full of vodka and has nightmares about a dead horse

I'm playing in a D&D WWE-themed oneshot this Sunday, and while absolutely nothing can come between me and my dream of playing a monk, I will admit that I am ever so tempted to play a character based off of the Wolf from Puss in Boots: The Last Wish.

#the valley is playing d&d #i kind of want to dm a mini-campaign based on the premise of the last wish #there's a magical site in an enchanted forest that grants one single person a ninth level wish spell #everyone in the party would need to come up with a strong reason why their character wants that wish #and the forest would change to match each character's psyche (like in fhsy with the forest of the nightmare king)#...help i want to dm this but it's so much work to set up
