The "2SLGBTQI" cult loves to use any marginalized community to make themselves look inclusive until someone dates to criticize them. Even if that someone is a woman and survived addiction
By Shay Woulahan November 25, 2023
A museum in London, Ontario, has removed a female powerlifter from an exhibit on resilience in apparent retaliation for her vocal opposition to males participating in women’s sports. April Hutchinson said the move quickly followed her suspension from the Canadian Powerlifting Union.
Launched in October at the Museum London, the exhibition, titled “Resilient London: Meet Your Neighbours,” was intended to be an inspiration for the community and featured a diverse panel of locals alongside obstacles they had overcome. Hutchinson was featured not just as a local athlete, but also as a survivor of addiction.
But on November 10, Hutchinson received a letter from the Executive Director of the museum saying they were removing her feature from the exhibit. They stated their reasons were due to Hutchinson’s media appearances where she commented on male athletes competing in female sports. The letter accused Hutchinson of being at odds with the values of the museum, and claimed she was “denying” the existence of “transgender women.”
Signed by the museum’s executives, the letter continued by implying her public comments went against the Ontario Human Rights code, stating: “Misgendering someone intentionally is a form of discrimination.” The letter ended by saying they had made the decision to remove her from the exhibition because her comments were harmful to the “2SLGBTQI community.”
Speaking to Reduxx about her removal from the exhibit, Hutchinson expressed anger and sadness over the decision, which she says was a sudden, decisive move. Hutchinson says museum administrators were already aware of her views prior to her inclusion in the exhibit, and had still sought her out and worked with her on developing her contribution. At the time, the board director reportedly told Hutchinson that they would not police her online activity.
“I was devastated when they told me this information. I’m still so hurt. My friends and family and tons of people came out to support me. I’m still very angry and disgusted,” Hutchinson told Reduxx.
Hutchinson notes that it was only after she was suspended from the Canadian Powerlifting Union for her outspoken stance on women’s single-sex sports that the museum decided to take the opportunity to remove her display.
“The museum is basically telling women they don’t care about us. Our safety or our sports. It’s absolutely wrong. I am standing for truth and saying the things that 99% of society thinks. I will not lie to myself. I will not play charades and I will not give in to delusional thinking.”
After the Museum London removed Hutchinson, another member of the community who was featured in the exhibit celebrated the decision on social media.
Stevie Bees, a trans-identified female, took to Facebook to praise the museum for removing Hutchinson’s contribution.
“I am EXTREMELY proud to be on that wall and I also want everyone to know that Trans Women ARE Women! April Hutchinson SHOULD be deplatformed for spouting garbage like this,” Bees said, providing screenshots showing Hutchinson discussing her suspension from powerlifting for her stance on fairness in women’s sports.
Tumblr media
Hutchinson has been outspoken in her defense of women’s sports, both in interviews and on social media. She appeared on Piers Morgan Uncensored in August of this year where she argued that males should not be allowed to compete against females in powerlifting due to their inherent biological advantages.
Hutchinson has also spoken about how she approached Canada’s powerlifting governing body, the Canadian Powerlifting Union (CPU), about the issue of males participating in female competitions.
During an event hosted by Independent Council on Women’s Sports (ICONS) in June of this year, Hutchinson said the CPU told her the issue wasn’t a concern because there weren’t many trans-identified males competing in female divisions.
Tumblr media
Earlier this month, Hutchinson was suspended from competing and is now potentially facing a two-year ban from the Canadian Powerlifting Union for airing her grievances with biological males competing in women’s sports.
The suspension and potential ban follows Hutchinson voicing concerns about Anne Andres, a trans-identified male powerlifter who had bragged about beating women and labeled female competitors “weak.” Anne Andres recently set the all-time record at the Canadian Powerlifting Union’s 2023 Western Canadian Championship after scoring over 200kg more powerlifting points than the top-performing female in the same class.
Despite her removal from the exhibit and suspension from powerlifting, Hutchinson says she’s received an outpouring of support, including from other female athletes like Martina Navratilova. She also explained that her activism is motivated by a desire to ensure safety and equal opportunities for women in sports.
“Women need and deserve their own sports. The female category has always been protected,” she says.
“My platform is about fairness and women’s sports. It has nothing to do with hate or [being] anti-trans. The museum is basically sending the message that trans rights are more important than women’s rights
but women are fighting back and we will send a stronger message: Bodies play sports not identities.”

Bit of an update on that TIM powerlifter Anne Andres who outlifted his female competitors by over 200 kg and mocked them: One of the women who refused to compete against him has just been banned for 2 years by the Canadian Powerlifting Union for speaking out publicly and for referring to him as a biological male.

watching the canadian powerlifting union nationals competition because my brother's girlfriend is in it, and the announcer for her platform is like if dave grohl was dressed in a leopard print suit with a sequin vest and pointed-toed cowboy boots. so far he has gotten excited about the music, made approximately nine hundred harmless jokes about the lifters' names, got so amped about a national record that he stood up and paced around while the lifter was squatting and flat out yelled when the lift was good. i'm obsessed with him

Female powerlifter April Hutchinson dismissed Sunday's record-breaking lifts by transgender athlete Anne Andres as "completely unfair."
Andres, a 40-year-old biological male who identifies as female, completed squat, dead lift, and bench lifts for a total score of 597.5 kilograms, or 1317.262 pounds, at the Canadian Powerlifting Union's 2023 Western Canadian Championship, according to a report.
MANCHIN VOWS 'UNRELENTING FIGHT' WITH BIDEN ON INFLATION REDUCTION ACT'S ONE-YEAR ANNIVERSARY
"My boyfriend could basically walk in tomorrow, identify as a female, compete, and then the next day go back to being a man again," Hutchinson said. "No proof, no ID required, just basically going on how you feel that day or whatever gender you want to it."
Tumblr media
The score totaled by Andres was more than 200 kilograms, or 440.925 pounds, greater than the biologically female athlete who finished in second place.
"It's been very disheartening the national record that he broke," Hutchinson said. "Athletes have been chasing that for years ... and we're talking top athletes who have been training and training and training."

There were even athletes who chose not to compete in the championship after they learned Andres would be participating, the report noted.
"It's completely unfair," Hutchinson said. "It's bodies that play sports, not identities. Remember, bodies are biology, not identities that play sports."

Considering that women critical of self id in women’s sports are threatened and harassed Yes we do need more men to stand up do this. TRAs know the difference between men and women when it comes to who they can intimidate.
A male powerlifting coach self-identified into the women’s category and broke the Alberta women’s bench press record in an apparent effort to protest gender self-identification policies in sport.
Avi Silverberg, a powerlifting coach who has worked with Team Canada, self-identified as a woman last week to participate in the women’s category at the Heroes Classic Powerlifting Meet held in Lethbridge, Alberta. Silverberg was attempting to highlight the unfair advantage males have when competing in women’s athletics. In participating in the Saturday event, Silverberg unofficially broke the Alberta women’s bench press record for the 84+ kilograms category.
The Canadian Powerlifting Union (CPU) announced a gender self-identification policy earlier this year, explicitly allowing any males to participate in women’s competitions on the basis of “gender” alone.
In February, the CPU’s “Trans Inclusion Policy,” was released, containing an explicit statement that the CPU supported allowing transgender powerlifters to participate in the sex category of their choosing based on a guidance from the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES).
“Based on this background and available evidence, the Expert Working Group felt that trans athletes should be able to participate in the gender with which they identify, regardless of whether or not they have undergone hormone therapy,” the document reads, deferring to the “inclusivity in sport” guidance from the CCES.
The official women’s bench press title holder in the 84+ kilograms category is Anne Andres, a trans-identified male. Andres was in the front row and witnessed Silverberg’s demonstration at the Heroes Classic Powerlifting Meet.
Andres is a biological male athlete who identifies as a “woman” and regularly participates in female weightlifting competitions. Andres has won eight out of nine competitions he has entered in the women’s category, and is listed as a female on the Open Powerlifting rankings site.
In February, just prior to the CPU’s announcement of a gender self-identification policy, Andres gained significant notoriety after sharing a video of himself appearing to mock female athletes, asking why female powerlifters were “so bad” at bench press.
Tumblr media
In the video, Andres is seen sitting on a bench in a gym, leaning towards the camera in a casual manner and speaking directly into it.
“We all know that I’m a tranny freak,” Andres jokes about himself before going on to state: “
I mean, standard bench in power lifting competition for women, I don’t understand why it’s so bad.”
Riley Gaines, a spokeswoman for the Independent Women’s forum and an accomplished All American swimmer, shared a clip from the viral video on her Twitter in February, captioning it: “Anne Andres (male who identifies and competes as a woman) doesn’t understand why female powerlifters are so ‘bad’ at bench press
well idk Anne, but maybe it’s because you have 20 times more testosterone than them. Just a thought
”
ICONS Women, a campaign group dedicated to defending the rights of female athletes to single-sex sport, was first to post the clip of Silverberg at the Heroes Classic Powerlifting Meet on Monday, drawing attention to his act of defiance.
Tumblr media
Speaking to Reduxx, ICONS Women noted that Silverberg’s demonstration provided insight into the end result of gender self-identification policies in sport.
“What Avi so obviously points out is that policies allowing men access to women’s sports completely remove any integrity in women’s competitions,” the organization said.
“It doesn’t matter how Avi expresses himself or perceives himself. He clearly does not belong in women’s sport, and neither does any other male regardless of their motivation for wanting to participate.”
While some were confused by the display, others praised Silverberg’s ironic application of the CPU’s “Transgender Policy.”
“I can’t get enough of this guy, Avi for prime minister. It takes real balls to do this. I said this all along, any man can change their documents to say they are a woman then go in and take records. Finally someone did it for the women and proved policy is a disgrace,” one Twitter user wrote in response.
Many echoed the sentiment, calling for more male athletes to do the same.
Tumblr media
Women’s athletic competitions have become a major issue in the debate on gender ideology and its impact on women.
The issue mounted in public attention after a trans-identified male swimmer, Lia Thomas, began breaking women’s records and winning medals intended for female athletes in 2021. Since then, there have been several instances of trans-identified male athletes taking the podium in women’s sporting events.
Amidst growing pushback, the World Athletics recently announced they would be prohibiting transgender athletes who have undergone “male puberty” from competing in women’s world ranking competitions. During a press conference last week, World Athletics President Sebastian Coe cited scientific consideration and fairness for female athletes, stating he and the organization “believe the integrity of female category in athletics is paramount.”

April Hutchinson may not be able to compete for two years for speaking the truth but she won my heart and respect.
By Genevieve Gluck. November 8, 2023
A female competitive powerlifter for Team Canada who spoke out after a trans-identified male athlete set a women’s national record at a championship in Manitoba has been informed that she is facing a two-year suspension from her sport as a result. April Hutchinson shared the news to X (formerly Twitter), where she has received an outpouring of support after she slammed the situation as a “horror show.”
“I now face a 2-year ban by the [Canadian Powerlifting Union] CPU for speaking publicly about the unfairness of biological males being allowed to taunt female competitors & loot their winnings,” Hutchinson wrote.
“Apparently, I have failed in my gender-role duties as ‘supporting actress’ in the horror show that is my sport right now. Naturally, the CPU deemed MY written (private) complaint of the male bullying to be ‘frivolous and vexatious.'”
Tumblr media
Alongside her statement, Hutchinson shared images of the notice she had received, which reported that a discipline committee had convened on October 23 and had “determined that there is sufficient evidence for Major Infraction as a result of repeating offences, including prior warning.”
“Based on the information provided, the Discipline Panel is recommending that [April Hutchinson] have her membership to the CPU suspended for 2 years. We strongly feel this is a case of a repeated offence, and should be treated as such,” the notice read.
Hutchinson was reported to the CPU on August 23 by Anne Andres, a trans-identified male athlete who set a women’s national record at a championship in Brandon, Manitoba, on August 13. Hutchinson had publicly condemned his participation in the women’s category, and appeared on Piers Morgan Uncensored just days after the championship competition.
“I’ve been a powerlifter with the Canadian Powerlifting Union for about four years now. Over the last year, I have been fighting my federation to ban trans women — also known as men — from competing with women in powerlifting,” Hutchinson told host Rosanna Lockwood.
“They have ignored my pleas, as well as many other women who don’t agree with it. They’ve actually threatened to suspend me for speaking up about the matter,” she added. “The threats keep coming, and disciplinary action for speaking up has been ongoing over the last year.”
“The whole thing is disgusting. It’s disgraceful. It’s disheartening,” Hutchinson remarked. “I’ve been threatened with suspension. Two weeks ago, I received a letter from my Federation, stating that I cannot call Anne a biological male.” In response to news of Hutchinson’s potential ban, The Daily Mail reached out to Andres for comment. He responded by telling the journalist who contacted him that “the blood of LGBT people” was on her hands, and added, “Get straight f*cked.”
Tumblr media
Andres, 40, currently holds multiple records in the female division, including the women’s deadlift and bench press, and has placed first in nine out of the eleven competitions he has participated in over the past four years.
At the Canadian Powerlifting Union’s (CPU) 2023 Western Canadian Championship, Andres participated in the Female Masters Unequipped category, and beat out Michelle Kymanick and SuJan Gil for the first place award — with a total powerlifting score that was over 200kg more than the top-performing female in the same class.
A “total” is the sum of the heaviest weight lifted for the squat, bench press, and deadlift. Andres’ total would have placed him amongst the top-performing male powerlifters in the entire championship had he participated in the men’s category.
Tumblr media
The Western Canadian Championships was held under the umbrella of the Canadian Powerlifting Union (CPU), which announced a gender self-identification policy earlier this year. The policy, which garnered mass backlash from women’s rights advocates, explicitly allowed any males to participate in women’s competitions on the basis of self-declared “gender” alone.
In February, the CPU’s “Trans Inclusion Policy” was released, containing an explicit statement that the CPU supported allowing transgender powerlifters to participate in the sex category of their choosing based on a guidance from the Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport (CCES).
“Based on this background and available evidence, the Expert Working Group felt that trans athletes should be able to participate in the gender with which they identify, regardless of whether or not they have undergone hormone therapy,” the document reads, deferring to the “inclusivity in sport” guidance from the CCES.
Just prior to the CPU’s announcement of a gender self-identification policy, Andres gained significant notoriety after sharing a video of himself appearing to mock female athletes, asking why female powerlifters were “so bad” at bench press.
Tumblr media
The widespread outcry against males in women’s powerlifting events, prompted by news of Andres’ participation and taunting of female athletes, motivated the International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) to issue a policy change on August 21.
“For a transgender athlete to compete in the sport of powerlifting at any level, he/she must declare before competing that he/she is a transgender athlete. If an athlete fails to declare that he/she is a transgender and competes that violation leads to Disqualification of the result obtained in that Competition with all resulting Consequences, including forfeiture of any medals, points and prizes,” the IPF said in an updated policy document.
Increasing reports of male athletes identifying as female in order to compete in women’s events have attracted significant criticism. As previously reported by Reduxx, a Canadian powerlifting coach self-identified into the women’s category earlier this year and broke the Alberta women’s bench press record. Avi Silverberg was attempting to highlight the unfair advantage males have when competing in women’s athletics, in protest over the CPU’s recently implemented gender self-identification policies.
Not to show my age but the thought of men competing in women’s sports was funny when it was this guy

Women's sports is for women. Subpar or older male athletes can try something else or just retire with dignity
By Amy HammJuly 30, 2024
The Canadian Powerlifting Union (CPU) has issued a six-month suspension to Anne Andres, a trans identified male competing in women’s powerlifting, for uttering threats and engaging in a campaign of harassment towards several women and sports officials.
Andre’s six-month suspension was recommended by ITP Sports, an arbitrator brought in by the CPU after Andres targeted several women, as well at the Alberta Powerlifting Union (APU), and the CPU, with abuse, death threats, and harassment. In their disciplinary ruling, made based on the decisions of a panel, the CPU deemed Andres’ words “harmful, disparaging, insulting, or otherwise negative.”
In his response to the original complaint which led to his suspension, Andres simply said “Fuck the APU.” They noted that Andres demonstrated “a lack of remorse” despite having removed several of his harassing posts from his social media accounts.
Andres’ conduct included threatening to commit suicide if the APU refused to comply with his demands, lying about having been banned from the female sports category, and bullying and harassing the APU’s executive board.

It looked like a man punching a woman. Algeria’s Imane Khelif, at 5’10”, is only two inches taller than Italy’s Angela Carini; but watching the two in the ring of the women’s 66kg boxing at the Olympics, the difference between them was painfully obvious. Khelif’s hard, rangy body had more reach, and more power. After taking two ferocious blows, Carini abandoned the bout, receiving the final result in devastated tears.
It looked like a man punching a woman because, according to the International Boxing Association, Khelif is not a woman. In 2023, Khelif was disqualified from the World Boxing Championships along with Taiwan’s Lin Yu-ting  — “a result of their failure to meet the eligibility criteria for participating in the women’s competition”. This decision was based, not on testosterone levels, but on “a separate and recognised test, whereby the specifics remain confidential”.
A Russian-language statement (the IBA is Russian-led) put it more bluntly: “Based on the results of DNA tests, we identified a number of athletes who tried to deceive their colleagues and pretended to be women. Based on the results of the tests, it was proven that they have XY chromosomes.” Lin did not appeal, while Khelif initiated an appeal and then withdrew it, meaning that in both cases, the judgement became legally binding.

Update on a story I posted about earlier this week
President of Canadian Powerlifting Union QUITS in the wake of transgender controversy - as female competitor April Hutchison who was suspended for speaking out slams him for 'not protecting women in sport'
Shane Martin, president of Canada's powerlifting body, has resigned
Last week, the union suspended April Hutchinson for two years after she spoke out about a transgender rival
In August, transgender powerlifter Anne Andres set a new Canadian woman's national record
Hutchinson told DailyMail.com she plans on appealing her suspension
By RACHEL BOWMAN FOR DAILYMAIL.COM
PUBLISHED: 16:39 EST, 16 November 2023 | UPDATED: 16:56 EST, 16 November 2023
President of Canada's powerlifting body has resigned less than a week after suspending a female athlete for criticizing a record-breaking transgender rival.
Shane Martin, Canadian Powerlifting Union (CPU) president, submitted his letter of resignation on Sunday, November 12.
'This position has become something I no longer recognize and I am not the one to lead this organization,' he said in his resignation.
Hid decision came just days after the organization suspended powerlifter April Hutchinson for an appearance on Piers Morgan Uncensored in August where she remarked on the 'physical advantages that a male has over a female.'
Hutchinson told DailyMail.com of Martin's resignation, 'Anyone especially a federation leader that does not protect women and ensure fairness in sport should rightfully so resign.'
Tumblr media

Tumblr media
April Hutchinson praised his resignation, just days after she was set to be suspended by CPU for criticizing a transgender competitor
She began powerlifting four years ago, and said she started her campaigning against transgender athletes' inclusion in biological female categories around a year ago.
Despite being warned almost immediately she would be banned for her stance, she said she continued speaking out for the past year because, essentially, 'we have no policy at all to protect women and girls in sports.'
After slating the transgender athlete on TV, Hutchinson became the focus of an ethics investigation by the governing body, which she tweeted the results of.
'I now face a two-year ban by the CPU for speaking publicly about the unfairness of biological males being allowed to taunt female competitors and loot their winnings,' Hutchinson said.
'Apparently, I have failed in my gender-role duties as “supporting actress” in the horror show that is my #sport right now.
'This... Even though a 13-page letter was sent to the CPU in October thoroughly debunking all accusations. Obviously, someone had to pay the price for the IPF forcing CPU to be more female-friendly.
'Let this be a lesson to all female athletes to shut-up and put-up with #SexDiscrimination. In truth, my fight does not stop here.'
Hutchinson told DailyMail.com she plans to appeal the decision by the union to suspend her.
She shared her frustration in a fiery opinion piece for DailyMail.com where she pleaded for fairness in the sport and slammed trans competitor Anne Andres for mocking her female rivals as 'weak.'
She said Andres was 'taking to social media to mock females, to belittle us as weak, to rub it in our faces.'
At one point Andres even characterized a female rival as having 'little T-Rex arms'.
She said that when Andres won another contest, watching her put a stuffed toy T-Rex on the podium appeared particularly pointed - especially as she noted that the only two others on the podium were only there as every other competitor had dropped out.
Hutchinson said she was threatened with a suspension when she complained too, but said she won't stop her campaigning.
'Andres has been allowed to compete, take the podium in place of a biological woman and set national records that may never be broken,' she concluded.
'Everyone knows this is unethical. But the federation has been too cowardly to do anything because the Canadian government protects "gender identity" from discrimination, alongside race, gender and sexual orientation,' she said.
'As a result, the rights of biological women are trampled. Women must demand fairness, but even that is not enough.'
In August, Andres set a new Canadian woman's national record at the CPU National Championships – which is also an unofficial women's world record.
Andres lifted a total 597.5kg across the squat, bench and deadlift disciplines - 200kg more than her closest opponent, SuJan Gill.
Tumblr media

Tumblr media
Transgender athlete Anne Andres was criticized for remarks she made earlier this year about her female competitors, who she said were 'so bad' at bench press - she described one as having 'little T-Rex arms'
Tumblr media
Andres sparked backlash in August when she captured the Canadian women's national record, beating out her nearest competitor by over 200kg in total
Following Andres sweep, the International Powerlifting Federation (IPF) issued the CPU with an ultimatum to align with the international governing body's rules on transgender competitors after trans competitor Anne Andres trounced her female competitors.
IPF rules state that competitors must prove their gender identity with government-issued ID and disclose their testosterone levels, mirroring similar policies by international sports governing bodies.
Martin said in his resignation adjusting to these rules is not what he signed up for and somebody else would be better suited for the job.
'I wanted to focus on increasing budgets for refereeing and coaching, but the last year has shifted into something I can no longer do,' Martin said.
Hutchinson believes the policy is 'very strict' to get through.
'It's protecting women. The IPF have stepped in. They don't believe in discrimination against women, and it's not fair, so this policy is a step in the right direction for women and girls and sports,' she said.
'Right now, that means that Anne cannot lift. [She] will have to apply and go through all the testing, get all the medical documentation - it could take years.'
