i dont know if you answered this before, but whats your favorite Codywan headcanon?
I hope you have a great day, bye :)
that they openly flirt with each other without knowing that they are doing it.
eheh for example
obi-wan purposely leaving his lightsaber around the ship for cody to find (only spots cody would look) or purposely dropping it in battle for cody to grab and emphasiseing to anakin when cody is close to him that “this lightsaber is your life”
and with cody
just straight up calling him sweetheart in mando’a (cant think of it rn) and obi-wan being the dumbass he is it goes over his head
#heheh#anon <33#they are both stupid when it comes to each other#the 212th and the 501st all have bets on it#star wars#star wars: the clone wars#the clone wars#codywan#obi-wan kenobi#commander cody#cody could say i love you and obi-wan wouldnt notice#gay

Oh, Captain - Rex (TCW)
Summary: The 501st is getting a new Co-General and Rex wants to be prepared. His brothers, however, dare him to flirt with a woman at 79s the night before. Length: 1370 words Warnings: Unnamed Female Character (Can be Read as OC or Reader); Rex's Horrible Flirting Skills; Fives is a Menace
79s was packed full of clones as usual, though the color scheme of the night was predominantly blue and yellow for the 501st and 212th. They had just finished a battle together in the Mid Rim and returned to Coruscant to resupply before they shipped out again. And in the case of the 501st, they were on Coruscant to pick up their new Jedi general.
It was the only reason why Rex went out that night in the first place.
He had to make sure that all of his men were presentable for their meeting with the new assistant general, who had been assigned to the battalion so that General Skywalker could be called away more often. General Skywalker assured Rex that the new assistant general wouldn’t be that much of a stick in the mud, but Rex didn’t want to take a risk.
“Oh, come on, Rex, you heard the General. The new general’s fun. Have a drink for kriff’s sake,” Fives urged, placing a drink in front of Rex.
“I’m all set, Fives,” Rex replied, pushing the drink away from him.
“Who is the new assistant general, anyways?” Echo asked curiously, leaning over. “The Commander didn’t have a name.”
“I bet they’re a brand new Jedi. Young like General Skywalker,” Jesse stated, earning some nods. “He mentioned that they trained together.”
“It’s not for us to speculate,” Rex replied, earning a sigh from some of his brothers. “We need to be prepared. I don’t want the new general’s first impression of us to be that we look sloppy.”
“Oh, relax, Rex,” Cody spoke up, causing the rest of the 501st to perk up. If anyone could talk some sense into Rex, it would be Cody. “You’re going to be fine. Have a drink. We were just in trenches on a dustball for fifteen rotations. Or maybe make a new friend.”
“Like her,” Fives interjected, smacking Rex on the shoulder.
The entire table turned to watch a humanoid woman take a seat at the bar. A woman alone in a clone bar? It would be about five seconds before she was swarmed. But there was something about her that intrigued Rex. He couldn’t put his finger on it, but there was just something about her that drew all of his attention without any work at all.
“I’ve never seen her here before,” Echo stated as the woman ordered a drink.
“I wouldn’t mind seeing her around,” Fives spoke up before glancing at Rex. “And looks like you wouldn’t either, Captain.”
“Not all of us think with what’s under our codpieces, Fives,” Rex grunted in return.
“I’m thinking that they are, though,” Jesse pointed out, gesturing to two clones who made their way over to the mysterious woman. “Hopefully her first experience with a clone isn’t one of Fox’s shinies. She’ll never come to a clone bar again.”
Rex glanced over at the woman again before getting up from his seat. Fives looked over at Echo with a shit-eating grin, to which Echo simply rolled his eyes. Rex walked around the bar, nodding to his brothers that he passed, but keeping his gaze on the mystery woman and the two clones that sat down next to her.
But before they got too far into a conversation, she seemed to say something with a seductive smile and his brothers got up and left her alone without a word of protest. Now, downright curious, Rex found his legs carrying him over to the woman. She turned her head and their eyes met for the first time. His heart seemed to stutter as he took the last few steps toward her.
“They weren’t bothering you, were they?” Rex asked, causing the woman to smile.
“No, not at all. I told them that I was just looking for a drink and nothing more. They seemed to do the rest of the math.” She took a sip of her drink, peering over the rim of her glass and practically into Rex’s soul. “Sorry if you were planning on playing hero, Commander.”
“It’s Captain, actually. Captain Rex,” Rex introduced himself, causing the woman’s eyes to widen a small fraction.
“My apologies, Captain Rex.”
And there was that arrhythmia again. Was this woman part-siren or something?
“You can just call me Rex,” he assured her, causing the woman to smile softly. “And what exactly should I call you, ma’am?”
“Anything but ‘ma’am’,” she quipped, taking another sip of her drink. “You’re making me feel a little too old, Captain.”
Kriff, he could get used to her calling him that.
They got to talking. Not so much specifics about themselves, but rather life around them. The GAR, galactic politics, the drink menu. Rex didn’t even realize that he literally didn’t know any basic facts about the woman until she got up to leave for the night.
“Do you come to this part of town often?” Rex asked, causing the woman to chuckle.
“Not usually, but I suppose I could make an exception . . . Captain.”
Rex watched her walk out the door before he was suddenly swarmed by brothers, rattling off question after question. Up until Cody, as the highest ranking officer of the bunch, took control of the situation and asked one simple question.
“What’s her name?”
Rex opened his mouth to reply, but instead winced, causing his brothers around him to groan.
“He’s hopeless,” Fives sighed, shaking his head.
“He was hopeless the second that he decided to follow your advice,” Echo pointed out.
*~*~*~*
Rex walked through the rows of his men, inspecting them one last time while the General and Commander brought aboard their new General. Co-General. Whatever. Either way, Rex wanted to impress them. And that meant that his men had to be in tip top shape. But when he heard the doors to the hangar open, Rex quickly took his place at the front.
Only to nearly drop his helmet when he recognized the woman walking with Anakin and Ahsoka. And when he heard Fives’s giggle, he could only swallow down a choice set of words.
“And here’s our captain, Rex,” Anakin introduced, causing their eyes to lock for the first time since the bar. “The best of the best.”
“I would expect no less,” she replied with an easygoing and mischievous smile. “It’s nice to meet you, Captain Rex.”
“You as well, General,” Rex practically choked out, trying to not sweat through his blacks.
“Rex, this the new co-general,” Ahsoka introduced, adding the general’s name. “She was Master Plo Koon’s padawan and served with the Wolffe Pack.”
“Why’d you leave it, General?” Rex directed towards the new general, who smiled at him.
“The Jedi Council needed someone to babysit General Skywalker and because I value public service above my own sanity—”
“—This whole spiel again?” Anakin complained, causing her to turn to him.
“You're just upset because Admiral Yularen laughed in your face when I told him what happened back on Corellia when you—”
“—Perhaps we should move on to the rest of the tour,” Anakin stressed, causing her to smirk.
“Of course.”
Anakin and Ahsoka led the way through the rows of troopers, though she lingered behind them. Looking over her shoulder, she offered Rex a smile that made his heart stop for a moment all over again.
“I’ll be back to meet the full battalion formally once the rest of my briefings are concluded. If that fits with your timeline, Captain?”
“Yes, of course, General.”
“Great.” She offered him a curt nod before that smirk returned. “And next time we’re at 79s, drinks are on me, Captain.”
The galaxy was testing him today, that was for sure. Rex watched her walk off with Anakin and Ahsoka before slowly putting his bucket back on his head.
“Fives,” he growled out. “You have exactly five seconds before—”
Fives took off in a sprint across the hangar and Rex took off after him. Echo sighed and shook his head before turning to his comms. Sending Commander Cody a message that Rex did learn that the woman that he was flirting with last night was the new general, Echo couldn’t help but laugh as he watched Fives evade Rex.
“Well, this is going to be interesting.”

Thinking abt an au where Rex and the 501st adopts Boba instead of letting him go to jail… I feel like Rex has a lot of the mando genes urging him to adopt feral children
Fives would tease boba and say that he’s like a little angry tooka
Tup would be happy to not be the youngest anymore and would be really sweet to him
Hardcase and fives would both help him cause chaos
Echo would try to teach him some of the regs but end up letting him do whatever because he has cute little tooka eyes that works very well
Rex would treat him sort of how he treats the domino twins, but would probably be more openly affectionate and would make sure that he’s never on the field (he totally doesn’t steal boba from the barracks and lets him sleep in Rex’s quarters and holds him like a pillow… it’s okay Boba likes it, he missed having a dad)
boba would try to sneak out on campaigns, but the 501st all collectively agreed that clone or not Boba was their baby brother and he is not going to an actual battlefield
they also have a teensy bet on who boba actually listens to the most (it’s echo but Fives refuses to accept it)
Anakin, to Rex’s dismay, would teach him how to be a pilot
Ahsoka would help with any chaos
The 212th would try to get him transferred to them because they want a baby brother too but Cody would just say “we already have a baby brother (Wooley) and they’d probably kill us if we took Boba”
Plo Koon would start trying to get the Wolfpack placed in more campaigns with the 501st and Wolffe also starts helping with a bit of chaos (both Wolffe and Boba are biters and you can’t convince me otherwise)
A lot of them would ask what Jango was like and Rex would storm up and cuff them on the back of the head because “wtf this kid is still grieving give him a god damned minute”
And yes they put him in the center of the clone piles when Rex doesn’t steal him (Rex will join usually anyway)
But the bad thing abt this would be when one clone doesn’t come back… after the citadel Boba would’ve been devastated to hear about Echo. After Umbara he would’ve been crying himself to sleep from all the deaths. When Ahsoka left he would’ve clung to Rex or one of his brothers because what if they leave too?
Boba is a hurt child and needs his brothers to fully heal, but when he’s with his brothers he can still get hurt

Merge the Timestream AU.
This came about because the amazing @bitter-chocolate-stars muse for the AU idea Merging the TimeStream flew out and bit me. I would highly recommend reading it first, because it is awesome and I could not do it justice.
Now onto the madness.
It is a mission to a Force Temple, old enough that no one knows which side of the Force it was for (or if it was for a specific side). There were rumors that there was an ancient artifact that could change the tides of the War, so The 212th and the 501st were dispatched to get it before the Separatists.
Five people went into the final chamber to search(There was a description of the artifact in the temple. Only four words had been able to be translated-Past, Present, Future, and Knowledge): Obi Wan Kenobi, Anaking Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano, Commander Cody, and Captain Rex.
It was these five people who were caught by the artifact. Each of these five were split into three. The present version of themselves, a future version, and a past version.
I bet you all can see where this is going.
Obi Wan’s past version is from Melida/Daan, two days before Cerasi died. The future is Old Ben, coming directly from his own beheading on the Death Star.
Anakin’s past is nine year old Anakin, hours before he would meet Qui Gon Jinn and Padme Amidala for the first time. The future is Vader (I hope none of you are surprised), a month after he cut off Luke’s hand, and just after he fully realized that it meant his and Padme’s child had always lived.
Ahsoka’s past is three years old, just Found by Plo Koon. Her future is Rebels Era Ahsoka, aka Fulcrum, before she found out that Vader was Anakin.
Rex’s past was a physically four year old cadet, the only survivor of his batch (who were decommissioned because of their blonde hair mutation-Rex’s scores were so high that he was kept). The future is Old Rex, post Empire (I always headcanon that Rex survives to see the end of the Empire because of spite).
Cody’s past is ARC Trainer Cody, after the war had started but before he was assigned to be Obi Wan’s commander. His future had just deserted the Empire and doesn’t even know about the chips yet.
Frankly it likely would have been better if one or more of those people had arrived unconscious. Alas this was not to be.
Upon arriving, Little Ahsoka immediately started crying to the visible concern of both Cadet Rex and Child Anakin (both were concerned about punishment at the noise). Before anyone could even think to do anything, Vader pointed a dramatic finger at Old Ben and went ‘You’ and followed up with ‘Why didn’t you tell me my son lived?’
Old Ben caulked his head, ‘Even leaving aside I thought I had left you for dead for a decade, Darth, why would I trust you with your children after the march on the temple?’
Now Darth Vader rocked back on his heels, “Children?” and then a moment later “Leia Organa”
Old Ben sighed deeply, ‘Surely we can both agree that the fact you tortured your daughter does prove me right to keep them from you.’
‘I cut off Luke’s hand too’ Vader said absently
Old Ben just buried his face in his hands.
Now all of this was with the background tune of little Ahsoka still crying. Former padawan Obi Wan is the one who reaches her first, and picks her up, smoothly herding Cadet Rex and Child Anakin behind him, away from the adults in the room. Former Padawan Obi Wan is radiating a vicious, desperate protectiveness.
The movement caused Old Ben to look away from Vader at the rest of the room. His brow furrows. He looks back at Vader, “Do you remember this?”
Vader’s black mask turns to take in the rest of the room, his breath rasps somehow louder than the crying Ahsoka. At last he says ‘I do not’.
Post Empire Rex snorts and says, with an unimpressed deadpan ‘It is probably Force Shit’.
It takes another half hour to get any kind of semblance of calm and start to piece together what is going on. In spite of the fact that neither Old Ben, nor Vader want to admit who they are (for different reasons), no one in the room is actually stupid.
There is a moment when Rex is obligated to give Old Ben shit for the fact that he told Luke that Vader killed Anakin Skywalker, to which Ben responds ‘I was just passing on what he’ points at Vader, ‘told me’.
At another moment Fulcrum throws up her hands and shoes at Old Ben ‘I thought you were dead, again. Why didn’t you tell me you survived.’ Old Ben blinks at her, ‘Leaving aside I also thought you were dead, my dear, for the last decade I have had the single highest bounty in the empire’ Old Ben looks to Vader, who nods solemnly after a moment, ‘I would have thought that would be telling.’ Fulcrum actually pouts and mutters, ‘I thought that was a plan by the Rebellion to draw Vader’s attention.’
There is just…so much trauma in this room. Like it is possible that this group has the highest concentration of trauma in the entire galaxy.
Deserter Cody appears to be having multiple concurrent panic attacks, his face swinging between Old Ben and General Obi Wan almost constantly. Between the residual guilt of having his general shot at, the horror of the long held belief that Cody had caused Obi Wan’s death, the combination of relief and horror at the news of the chip in his head, the combination of relief and confusion at Old Ben (who is proof that Obi Wan Kenobi did not die on Utapau), the confusion of being confronted with two other versions of himself all culminates in the fact that Deserter Cody is going through some things.
ARC Trainer Cody is going through less, mainly horror at the chips. He is also very much a shiny as far as his reactions to the Jedi are concerned. He is confused at being transported from Kamino, and does not know if he was transported to the future or they were tanspote to the past. Frankly by all measures ARC trainer Cody is one of the most stable people in the room.
Current Cody is sure that his younger self should not meet any members of Ghost Company on the basis that he would never live it down. He is also facing the horror of the chips, confusion at the triplicatation that is going on. His horror is that much deeper than his younger self because he knows and cares for Obi Wan (Light CodyWan for the win). He is also quite worried for his older self.
Melida/Daan Obi Wan is still not sure if he is willing to let any of the adults in the room near the other children. He is also doing slightly better with the fact that he grows up to be a general then the fact that he went back to the Jedi. He is also very much a child soldier with all the trauma therein.
Old Ben is not sure if this would be his heaven or his hell. On the one hand he could feel in the Force that he was before Order 66, all the lives he had felt snuff out were alive and well. On the other hand, there were three Anakins in the room, at least one of which hated him. Also he thought getting beheaded would get him out of dealing with more Skywalker BS.
General Obi Wan Kenobi is more than a little horrified. His connection to the Unified Force means that he is perceiving echoes of Order 66 through the future counterparts AND the variety of trauma that exists in the younger counterparts simultaneously. In addition, both his younger self and Anakin’s younger self are each triggering unresolved trauma.
Padawan Commander Ahsoka Tano is staring at her older self in awe, when she was not staring at Vader in horror. She has also been herded to one corner of the room by Former Padawan Obi Wan, despite the fact that she is 16 to his 14.
Fulcrum makes the decision that she CANNOT deal with the Vader/Anakin revelation at this point and is blocking it out. Instead she is staring at Old Ben. And glancing at her younger self, wondering how much being Anakin’s padawan had damaged her view of the Order.
Little Ahsoka has calmed, now that she was securely held by a warmer than average Cadet Rex.
Post Empire Rex is so, so done. This was supposed to be retirement. Being dragged back to the clone wars is not retirement. It was nice to see Fulcrum again though.
Cadet Rex is the definition of stress. He is not sure what test is going on, nor who these new trainers were but he would not fail.
Captain Rex is not sure what to do with the proof that he would survive the war. Nor the fate of his general as he stares at the tall black clad being.
Darth Vader, in addition to all the issues he always carries, is looking at his younger self covetously. Had he had a way he would have tried to possess his younger self, who has everything he wants. At the same time he wants to sit this younger version down and tell him exactly how to avoid everything that Vader is (It should be noted that Vader has no idea how to avoid all that Vader is). He is also boiling angry at every version of Obi Wan, though distantly looks at the little angry version and wonders if this was a way to get his brother back. The knowledge of Luke’s survival is drawing him back toward the single selfless thing he has done in decades, but he is still very much a Sith.
Child Anakin is deeply confused and frankly ecstatic that he hasn’t blown up yet. It is very clear they are not on Tatooine and nowhere near Watto. He is also not impressed that he somehow escaped slavery only to become enslaved again (in his perception Vader is also chip controlled and thus enslaved).
General Anakin Skywalker is freaked out by Vader, who is radiating a weird greed at him, and also by the implications of everything the future people have said. He is also heartbroken over Palpatine being evil (even Vader agrees, in his own way, that Palpatine is evil). Everything strikes deep enough that Anakin actually decided he needed a therapist (There is something about the casual way that Vader talks about torturing Anakin and Padme’s children that cements that decision).
It turns out that the Artifact is the entire temple, so removing it is not feasible.
Like in the original idea, I am not sure if the past and future versions find themselves eventually returning to their own times, or if they are stuck in the present. Though there is something that is amusing about the Jedi now having to deal with three of each of these five people, one of which is a Sith. Particularly since Vader both wants to kill them all and wants to protect them all (to prevent Anakin’s Fall).
It does change so many things though.

Time for more Clone wars Head Cannon time:
-The 501st and 212th defiantly have bets against each other of the state of Anakin and Padmé’s relationship but also Obi-Wan and Cody’s. Ahsoka, Rex, Waxer, and Boil organizing these bets whenever the two legions are together (of course under the noses, of General Skywalker, General Kenobi, and Commander Cody).
-Kix sleeps literally with one eye open, due to his Jedi trying to escape the medbay every time he falls asleep. Every time he drags them back to bed he always mutters something along the line of “stupid self sacrificing jedi ideology, whoever thought the force was a free pass to self neglect will feel my wrath.”
-Speaking of Kix, the entire 501st and also the 212th by extension are terrified of him, once 10 droid invaded his medical tent and he took them all out on his own without a blaster. He also can single handily drag one of his jedi or troopers to the medbay without effort.
-Fives and Echo, the chaos twins who bring destruction wherever they go, will try to sneak into Anakin’s council meetings get into his line of sight, and try everything that is possible to make him laugh. During one meeting where they are more particularly funny Anakin just stands there in a council meeting trying to be silent and stiff as a board while he’s shaking from laughter and mace goes “Is something funny skywalker?” and fives falls on his head from doing a handstand at that moment and Anakin loses it and bursts out laughing like a maniac but refuses to explain why to the council ever. So for the rest of the history of the council, they all think Anakin finds Yoda going on mission to be kriffin hilarious.
-After tough missions the troopers of the 501st like to huddle together in a cuddle pile (although only Ahsoka calls it that), Ahsoka discovering this one night while they were all sleep in their huddle, hopped into the pile and snuggled up with them as she couldn’t fall asleep because of a nightmare that has her in a panic attack and Anakin was no where to be found. Cut to the next morning Anakin is panicking about where Ahsoka is and bursts into the barracks to ask the troopers if they’ve seen Ahsoka just to find her in the pile of his troopers between Jesse and Fives. He finds the sight too wholesome to disrupt so he takes a picture of it and leaves. Letting his children sleep in. He ends up framing that picture in his quarters much to Ahsoka’s annoyance when she finds it.
-Sometimes when the clones in the 501st have a illness like a cold instead of going to Kix (much to his annoyance) they to to their General. Sometimes they just want General Skywalker’s hugs, reassurance, and help. Appreciating the fatherly presence and warmth he gives them. He also happens to be really good at spotting when his troopers are ill, which Kix does actually appreciate because better they get General Skywalkers help then no help. (And Anakin does eventually tend to bring his sick troop to the medbay to make sure they’re alright)
-Sometimes on missions where locals are around a person or two has flirted with Ahsoka making her annoyed and uncomfortable as most of them tended being men older than her, but even the people who are age appropriate make her uncomfortable too as she isn’t interested in anyone at all. Usually Anakin would cut in and tell them to Kriff off and get away from his Padawan, but this time, Rex, Fives, Echo, Jesse, and Hardcase beat him to it. With Fives punching the 30 year old guy in the face, Echo shoving him to the ground, Jesse kicking him in the side, Hardcase stepping on him hard so he can’t move, and Rex telling him to never speak or go near his little sister again, telling him to kriff off before he faces a fate worse than death. Anakin smiles at them proudly while Ahsoka silently cries happy tears in the background from being called a “little sister” by her vod.
-I believe it’s already canon or a really universal headcanon that the clones speak mando, but I believe once Anakin and especially Ahsoka learn this they are both immensely determined to learn how to speak it, much to the hesitance to the 501st initially, they aren’t sure as it’s something that their’s. But quickly they get really close to both the commander and general and adopt them as their Vod’ika and Buir and teach them a few words until by the near end of the war it escalates to basically the entire language. (Anakin cries a lot when he learns what Buir means)

You’ve Got a Nice Ass
(Obi-wan x Reader)
This is a funny little story I found in my drafts from another fandom and thought, why the hell not. Obi-wan is hot and I like him so sue me (please don’t I’m broke).
This is something just really fun and kinda flirty so I hope you enjoy it!
Warnings: playful teasing, clones being funny, a little bit of hurt/comfort, reader is slightly insecure, obi-wan being a teddy bear, love confessions, friends to lovers, ass slapping (very mild), fluffff
Words: 3.5K
—————
I was sitting in the mess hall of the Resolute with my tray of food, a book in hand while soldiers came in and out of the mess. Most were sat at tables talking and joking with one another as they always did which always put a smile on my face. Obi-wan, Anakin, Rex, Cody and Ahsoka were sat with me at a table speaking amongst themselves before a certain conversation seemed to catch all our attention.
"I'm saying master Yoda could totally kick general Windu’s ass in a fight!" Waxer argued, his voice carrying from where he sat at the table next to us.
"Are you kidding? General Windu would woup Master Yoda’s ass," Boil defended, argued back, a few of the 212th and 501st boys taking sides and placing bets on who they think would win.
“I’m with Waxer, my credits are on Master Yoda.”
“Well then you’re wrong Vod cause I think General Windu would win.”
“How am I wrong when that’s your opinion Hardacse?”
“Because Boil is right and therefore that makes me right too cause I agree with him.”
“That’s not how that works you di’kut!”
"Alright men. I think this argument as well as this bet have gone a little too far already,” Obi-wan chimed in over the sounds of the boys yapping at each other. He was so calm and level head but still kept a smile on his face which made me swoon slightly. He carried such a power with him and that made even most compose of people squirm. I loved it when Obi-wan was like this. He was serious like a warrior at times but at others he was a cute, cuddly and fluffy teddy bear that you just wanted to squeeze.
At the sound of their general’s the boys immediately quieted down, looking to Obi-was with a sincerity apology as they went back to eating their food and conversing about a different topic.
I had liked Obi-wan for a long time now, being Anakin’s older sister, I went with him when Master Qui-gon found Anakin. I had stuck by my brother as well as Obi-wan when the council had refused to train us. I was there when master Yoda changed his mind and I was there when Anakin and I were officially made padawans.
I’ve stuck by them both since the beginning, helping Obi-wan to understand how to teach Anakin and well as how to navigate things with two of us. I tried my best to make his life easy and I like to think that it has worked well. Ever since becoming a knight around the age of 24, I’ve always hoped that Obi-wan would see me in a different light, even if I used to be his student. I’ve been by his side through everything and I would always admire from afar because deep down, I knew I would never have a chance with someone as amazing as him. He followed the code to a T and would break it especially for someone like me.
"Yes sir, sorry general," Boil said apologetically, turning back to his tray of food as snickers could be heard around them.
"Let's just say that they could both kick some major butt,” Waxer said and his brother smiled at him as they gave a highfive, a few of the other boys asking for their credits back now that the bets were off.
However, Waxer and Boil refused, saying that those credits were bet fair and square in a legitimate bet. There were more groans of protest and more arguing before food was thrown in Boils face, the 212th trooper looking shocked as all eyes turned to Fives.
“Oh god, here we go,” Rex said as he face palmed, glaring daggers at Fives who had a triumphant look on his face before it was wiped away as he was tackled to the ground.
"Well-" Obi-wan said as he stood up from the table and stretched, his muscles flexing and making my mouth water from behind my book, "-I'm gonna go the training room for a bit." I watched him walk toward the door and out, turning down the left hallway towards the training rooms, my eyes following until the door closed behind him.
“Fives! Enough, you di’kut!”
“Give me back my money!”
“It was better fair and square!”
“Was not! General Kenobi called the bet therefore it is void.”
“You just don’t want to loose.”
“Enough!”
I let out a sigh and slumped into my seat, my book falling from my hand as I silently watched Rex and Cody break up the brawl that was currently happening.
"You ok (Y/N/N)?" Anakin asked as he and Ahsoka finished snickering at the clones and their fighting.
"Ya just.....thinking," I said and tilted my head back, staring at the ceiling. My mind was swirling with thoughts that I shouldn’t be thinking, feelings that were against the Jedi code. I sighed again as I leaned my head down and rested it against the table, my try of food long finished and pushed to the side.
"About Obi-wan?" Anakin sing-songed. He was the only one who knew about my crush on Obi-wan besides Padme because she was my other best friend and sister-in-law. I could never hide anything from her.
"W-what!? N-no!" I said defensively.
"Ok then suit yourself," he said and continued to watch Cody and Rex scold their men as if they were children.
Ahsoka turned to me with a small smile and took my hand, knowing that Anakin could be a little too teasing when it came to certain things. She was a good fit as his padawan, keeping him in line and grounded when Padme or I couldn’t.
“I’ve heard master Kenobi say things about you too you know,” she said and winked, peeking over as Rex escorted, Fives, Jesse and Hardcase out the door, Cody doing the same with Waxer, Boil and Longshot.
“Like what?” I said wearily but curiously, my emotions getting the best of me. I wanted to know because deep down I thought that maybe, just maybe, I had a shot.
“I’ve heard him talk about how determined you are and how kind you are. I’ve heard him talk about how much he admires your courage and bravery,” Ahsoka sat and wiggled her eyes, her markings moving with her eyes.
“I’ve heard things too you know,” Anakin chimed in, his full attention now back on the conversation that Ahsoka and I were having. I blushed and hid my face behind my hand, this kind of topic not one I was used to talking about in such an open space where anyone could be listening.
That was the moment that Rex and Cody came back to the mess hall, coming to sit back down at our table.
“What have you heard?” I said quizzically, trying my hardest not to show my emotions on my face, but Anakin could read me like book.
“That he liked you baaackk,” Anakin said in a singsong voice again. I reached over and smacked him somewhat playfully, it wanting him to say it out loud.
“Oh are we talking about General Kenobi’s giant crush on you?” Cody said and smirked at me, going back to eating his food as if he hadn’t just said something that big. My face went redder than the Tatooine suns at night, my body wanting nothing more than to sink down under the table and disappear.
“Yes we are,” Anakin said triumphantly, looking at me with a shit eating grin.
“Oh it’s bad. He talk as about you all the time general. Even when he thinks no one is around, he talks about how amazing you are and I can hear him scolding himself about having those thoughts. And then the next second he talking to me about how he can’t help it,” Cody spilled, seemingly feeling no shame for airing Obi-wan’s feelings.
"Really?" I asked dumbfounded, looking between Anakin, Ahsoka, Cody and even Rex who was nodding his head along with Cody.
"Yes really. You should go talk to him and tell him how you feel. I promise you he feels the same,” Cody said with a smirk, one that made me question if they were bullshitting me. I took a moment to process all that they had said, looking at the faces around the table. Ahsoka was the one to do it for me, he smile genuine and eyes shining with nothing but truth.
I smiled at her and thanked the group, standing up and taking my tray to the cleaning station before making my way out of the mess, my mission? Tell Obi-wan how I feel.
~Time Skip~
I made my way to the training room, thinking of how I could tell Obi-wan my feelings without making things awkward. I was still weary of everything the others had said, especially Cody. I wanted to believe them but what if they were secretly wrong? What if he was still in love with Satine or if he was sticking by code and willing to report me to the Jedi high council for having such feelings.
My heart sank as I thought about it, uncertainty swimming in my heart as I played the different scenarios over and over again in my head. I stopped in my tracks as I reached the training room, my resolve crumbling and my heart beginning to break.
What if he doesn’t love me the way I love him? What if this is all a joke and I’m being made a fool of?
My mind began to race a million miles a minute, so many things happening internally that I also chickened out. It took me a few moment to calm my mind, making it up just to get it over with and if Obi-wan didn’t feel the same, I would find a way to live that. I would find a way to be okay.
When I got to the sliding doors of the training room, I found them already open, the locking mechanism initiated so that they stayed opened. Obi-wan was stood there, a blind fold over his eyes and his top layer of robes discarded, his under shirt and training pants all that he was wearing. Even through the undershirt, his back muscles were very defined and detailed, his body looking as if it had been sculpted with delicate hands.
His training pants left a little less to the imagination, the material tight against his body but stretchy enough that it moved with him. His legs were very muscular, years of training and hard labour giving him very powerful looking legs. But what what drew my attention most, as weird as it is to say, was his ass. The material of his training pants left little for me to imagine, the globes of his ass looking very defined and round, ass plump and bouncing ever so slightly as he moved around the training mat.
'He's got a nice butt.' I thought to myself, keeping my distance as I watched him train with his saber.
I saw Obi-wan’s head whip around, the blindfold being lifted as he stared at me wide eyed and that's when I realized I said it out loud. My eyes filled with horror at the realization, my body rapidly filling with fear.
"W-what?" He asked bewildered, looking at me with slight embarrassment as he pulled the blindfold completely off his head.
I stood as straight as a board and turned right around, practically running out of the room while trying to control the blush on my face and the growing nose bleed I had. I could hear Obi-wan calling out to me but I ran as fast as I could to my quarters on the other side of the ship. I could feel tears welling in my eyes at the sheer unbridled embarrassment I felt, knowing that I had fucked up my chances royally.
~Time Skip~
After making it back to my quarters and cleaning up my bloody nose, I fell onto my bed, letting my face hit my pillow. I screamed into my pillow letting out all my embarrassment and emotions. Tears welled in my eyes again as I thought about just how much I had fucked up. The ridiculous idea to tell the man I love that I had a crush on him was just that, a ridiculous idea. Like a terribly made fairy tale where the girl doesn’t live happily ever after.
I sighed and flipped over onto my back, holding my pillow and string at the ceiling. I did my best to wipe my tears but more and more kept coming, my heart breaking with every passing moment.
"What was I thinking? Of course he doesn't like me like that. How fucking cliche to think he could see me as more than a colleague. How stupid to think they were telling the truth," I mumbled to myself, my palms digging into my eyes as I muttered to myself about how stupid I was.
"I don’t think that’s the kind of language you should be using when speaking about yourself my darling," I heard and bolted up, throwing my pillow full force towards the source voice. I heard a chuckle and looked up towards the door to see Obi-wan standing there, freshly showered and wearing actual clothes, my pillow hanging in midair.
"H-How long...." I got managed to get out before Obi-wan stepped fully into my room, placing the pillow gently on the end of my bed as the door slid closed. I moved myself backward to the head of my bed, wanting to put as much distance between myself and Obi-wan as I could.
"Long enough to hear you call yourself cliche and other words that I don’t think are representative of you in the slightest," He said, sitting on the edge of my bed. Ge picked up the pillow and used the force to slowly bring it back over to me, as if knowing I was terrified for this encounter. I took the pillow in my hands and rested it on my knees, bringing my knees up to me chest and burying my face in the pillow again.
"(Y/N), look at me," he said, moving closer and placing a hand on my knee. I turned just enough out of my pillow so he could see my left eye, bloodshot and tears still seeming to gather in my waterline.
"I'm not mad darling. And I don't think any less or different of you if that's what you're thinking," Obi-wan said and I turned my head a bit more to see his face better. He gave me one of his award winning smiles and I gave him a small smile back, still feeling the lingering embarrassment.
Obi-wan moved even closer to me, slowly and gently pulling the pillow from my arms. He placed it down next to me at the head of the bed before gently taking my hands in his. My eyes were still downcast, refusing to fully meet Obi-wan’s gaze even as he tried to look into my eyes.
“Darling look at me, please?” He said and lifted his fingers to tilt my chin up. I did so willingly, letting him use his thumb and pointer finger to lift my chin up. I looked into his eyes, trying to find any hint of discomfort or disappointment but there was nothing but understanding and what seemed to be…adoration?
He looked me in the eye before his eyes flickered to my lips, the movement quick but noticeable. I gulped down what air I could, my hands shaking with anxiety. He said nothing for another few moments, just looking at me with an adorable smile and keeping my head up and eyes on him.
“You’re very beautiful you know that right?” He spoke softly and I blinked, not expecting such praise to leave his lips. I blushed and tried to time my head away but Obi-wan kept a firm grip on my chin, his hold still gentle.
“Say it.”
“Say what?”
“That you’re beautiful.”
“Why?”
“Because it’s the truth.”
“But-“
“Say it,” he said, moving his hand from my chin to my cheek, hold it there and stroking his thumb along my cheekbone. My eyes remained glued to him, still not believing what he was saying to me or what he was asking me to do.
“(Y/N) say it.”
“I-I’m be-beautiful,” I whisper, my voice cracking as I spoke those words. I knew deep down that I was attractive, but speaking those words especially in front of Obi-wan after such an embarrassing moment felt wrong.
“Say it again.”
“I-I’m beautiful,” I spoke again, this time my voice a little louder but still slightly shaky.
“You’re extremely beautiful. You know I would never lie to you,” Obi-wan spoke again, his tone teasing only slightly. That got a laugh out me as I smiled, nuzzling into his hand and bringing mine up to hold his on my cheek. He smiled and leaned in to me slowly, giving me time to pull away if I wanted to. Instead, I leaned as well, matching his intentions as he kissed me softly and with so much love I could've melted.
My eyes closed and I leaned more into it, starting to feel more comfortable with what was happening. I smiled into the kiss before breaking away, making a bold move and wrapping my arms around Obi-wan’s neck. He laughed a hearty laugh and wrapped his arms around my waist, holding me to him. The position was a little awkward for us but at that moment I didn’t really care, just content to be in his arms finally.
Obi-wan smiled and pulled me into his lap, winking at me before kissing my nose. I giggled and returned the kiss before burying my face in his neck again, just breathing in his natural scent of birch wood and earl grey tea. He did the same, cradling my head to his neck and rubbing his other hand up and down my back.
"I love you (Y/N). I have admired your determination and courage since I met you. Your loyalty to your brother and how eager you were to learn,” Obi-wan confessed, pulling away from our embrace ever so slightly and held my hips, gently massaging circles into them.
I smiled and leaned in to kiss him again, smiling as he chased my lips when I pulled away, “I love you too Obi. You’ve always been there for me through everything, even when you didn’t have to be," I said shyly. He lifted his hand and tucked a stray piece of hair behind my ear, holding my cheek again once he did so.
“I will always be there for you my Dear, even if the council doesn’t approve. I will fight for you, for us,” he said lovingly and I smiled, tackling him to the bed and giving him a big hug. He laughed and held me as we almost rolled off the bed, moving to adjust us so we were lying down properly against the pillows.
We smiled at one another before he sat us up, helping me stand up and holding my hand as we walked to the door.
"Where are we going?" I asked as we made our way out into one of the halls of the Resolute.
"Well, now that you and I are an item, I must at least treat you to a miniature adventure before we can go on a real date,” He said and sent me a wink. I blushed and laughed before letting go of his hand and stopping.
He turned back to me with a look of confusion on his face before I laughed and ran up to him, giving his ass a good slap before I tried to run away. He yelped in surprise at the contact, reaching out and grabbing my waist before I could get away.
I laughed again as he spun me around, only stopping when we both began to get dizzy. I smiled as he turned me in his arms to face him, leaning down to place a soft kiss to my lips again. I smiled again and leaned into him, allowing our lips to move together in sync. When we pulled away, I gave his ass another little pat, smirking as he rolled his eyes at me.
"That is a nice ass," I said. He looked at me and smirked before rolling his eyes again and throwing me over his shoulder like a sack of potatoes.
We both laughed as he carried me through the halls of the ship, doing our best to avoid people with me still over his shoulder. I wasn't complaining though,
I had the perfect view of that gorgeous ass.

I do think Obi-wan has a great ass, change my mind.

Talking with @milfcutlawquane and @lost-on-kamino about AU stuff always yields amazing results. I love you guys <3
Previous Posts: [X] [X] [X] 501st Species Swap Examples: [X]
There are clones that take longer to change species. This is either due not having any impactful experience with another species of sentient and thus the infection process stalling, or due to not being in contact with other clones for very long periods of time.
Examples of clones who take a while to change are:
Ponds, who worked primarily with humans so it took a while for a species to actually stand out and stick with him (getting abducted by bounty hunters sure leaves an impact on a person).
Boba, who was majorly isolated from other clones so he became infected when he came into contact with Ponds and the clone officer (even so his changes only began when he entered puberty, so for a while he thought he was immune).
Gregor, who was MIA for a very long while so he wasn't exposed until he regained his memories and managed to get back to the GAR all on his own (some people started making bets on what he'd become due to him being virtually the last fully grown clone to be affected).
Another set of fun developments from my conversations with Rey and Rogue are:
Ponds gets to survive in this AU and he decides to take in Boba rather than just let the kid get tossed into prison. It takes some convincing (not because Mace doesn't think Boba learning from the clones wouldn't be good, but because he's concerned the war will not give anyone the time necessary to actually get the kid on the right track), but Ponds gets his way and he's officially named Boba's custodian. The kid also has mandatory supervised community service and classes he has to take, but honestly he's got it good compared to the alternative.
Ponds becomes a Palliduvan due to his encounter with Aurra Sing, and Boba becomes a Trandoshan a year after he's taken in by Ponds.
Cody becomes a Kaleesh, which honestly surprises no one considering the 212th's close shaves with General Grievous. He has joked about potentially altering his bucket to resemble a mixture of clone helmet and Kaleesh mask, since people keep remarking his face looks a little naked when bare.
Gree becomes a Mirialan, which he uses as an opportunity to learn more about their culture and customs. By showing a newfound eagerness to learn from them, Gree and the rest of his battalion become much closer to Luminara and Barriss. This has a majorly positive impact on Barriss especially.
Wolffe has to learn to come to terms with the trauma Ventress caused him since he's become a Dathomirian. He feels isolated from the rest of the 104th who've become Kel Dor, and it doesn't feel fair to him that she stole more than his eye from him, and that she had more of an effect on him than he's comfortable admitting to.
Bly finds that thanks to him and the majority of his men now sharing a species with their general, Aayla is no longer the center of unwanted attentions. He knows his general can handle herself (and would have no qualms beating up anyone who tried anything funny), but it always bothered him that some people had a tendency to openly drool while watching her. As it stands now, it's hard to find one attractive Twi'lek lady among many attractive Twi'lek men, although come to think of it, now they're all being gawked at which is not ideal either. That's the only aspect of being a Twi'lek he's not overly fond of. The blatant fetishization.
Fox has no option but to just accept he's an Amaran for reasons unknown to him and has to learn how to keep his emotions hidden all over again. His poker face is still flawless, but now he has a tail that reacts to his moods and it's a bit of a nightmare learning how to control it. It doesn't help that his Commanders and Shinies all seem enthralled by the dang thing.
There's a lot of positives to the change, but they do not outweigh the one negative that sets the Coruscant Guard on edge: Why is it that now that they don't look like clones, people suddenly accept that they're not soulless meatdroids? They have ALWAYS been individuals, so why should a change of species/appearance be the thing that convinces the people that used to not trust/hate them? The Guard doesn't like how shallow a change of perspective this is, and only trust the few people who've always been kind to them.

Do you think Cody and Rex would have had a custody battle over the Domino Squad (shut up they all lived okay) after Rishi? More than half the squad are in the medbay watching the two argue over them, and you can see the rest of the 501st and the 212th are watching while taking bets.
Cody gets Hevy and Droidbait (I love you bby), Rex gets the usual two, and Cutup ends up going with 104th because he heard they're really cool, but visits both sets of battalions when he can.
99 is just the already chosen grandfather, and gathers them all for a big meal when he's snuck onto one of the ships from time to time :)
Idk, just a fun idea I was thinking about at work <3

The Son’s of Clones
Part 2 of my crazy crack au plan.
This came together a lot faster than I thought it would......Huh......
Anyway,
Second verse is same as the first. Except for Leo and Rosh, all of these fine gentlemen are the biological sons of Clone troopers. They are all currently soldiers in the Rebellion and have various roles.
Most of them are in the crackfic I am writing, and I will drop a link below.
Starting from left to right.
Lieutenant Arrow Fett. Code name Trigger. Like Tally and Nyx, Arrow's biological dad was a clone trooper from the 212th. Arrow grew up in a fairly typical village and had next to no clue who or what his dad was.... until the Empire came knocking. With his world turned upside down overnight, Arrow did the only thing he could think of, pick up his dad's sniper rifle and defend his home. This landed him in a holding cell alongside Gregor, of all people. Who immediately recognized him as a clone kid and practically kidnapped him when the Rebellion busted him out. He's been with the Rebellion ever since.
Quirks
Amazing shot
Resident conspiracy theorist
Adjusting to being a big brother.
Twig Fett. Code name Due 2. Twig is Branch's twin brother and the son of a clone from the 501st. Like his sister, Twig is half Twi'lek and a stellar pilot. Unlike his sister, Twig isn't one for the spotlight and tends to just "vibe out" in the corner. Honestly, if it wasn't for his sister, Twig really wouldn't be in the Rebellion. When the Empire attacked their home, Twig wanted to run and hide with the rest of his family. But when Branch got captured, Twig went on a one-man mission to save his twin. He ran head first into Numa along the way.... who then later brought back to the Rebellion, and the rest was history.
Quirks
A bit of a Quiet boy
Loves to cook
Is the accountant behind Branch's betting ring.
Max'sym Fett, or Max for short. Code Name: Fett (He could be more creative.) Max is the biological son of Dogma and a Mirialan woman. Raised in a strict but loving household. Max ran away from home to join the Rebellion after a few of his uncles paid Dogma a visit. Despite what his dad said, Max just felt like he had to help his family, regardless of the consequences. Dogma and Max haven't spoken since. He gets along pretty well with his mom tho.
Quirks
Gets nervous really quickly.
He is a Jack of all trades but most work as a mechanic.
Total mama's boy.
Mako Ikaika Code name Bonito. Mako is one of the oldest of the Clone kiddos and the one who started it all. Mako's Bio dad was the medic for the Wolfpack who spent a wonderfully drunk night with a Zabark spice smuggler. They went their separate ways in the morning and never spoke to each other again. Fast forward to post-Order 66, and Wolffe needs help. This weird Zabark lady demands to talk with his long-dead medic about caring for their son. One very loud argument later, and Wolffe found himself the proud dad of one Mako. Things just exoculated from there. Wolffe deserted the GAR, ran into Rex, and found himself in the outer rim with a bunch of other clone deserters and one small child. Eventually, the group found an old abandoned base from the old republic and decided to make it their home. Wolffe named it "The Den," and Botta-bing botta-boom; the Clone Rebellion had a home base in the outer rim. Most of the Squad Kiddo end up at The Den at some point.
Quirks
Team medic
He is a strong voice. Like STRONG.
Takes after his grandpa Plo
Leo? Code name: Leo. Leo claims their full name is need-to-know, and no one needs to know right now. Yeah, the others don't fully get it, either. No one fully knows where or when Leo showed up in the fulcrum unit he just was just there one day. He works mainly as a code breaker and hacker for different fulcrum teams. Never really settling down with any one group or unit. That was until he met Nyx and Fae. Those two looked at this skinny loner and said, "Oh, we're so keeping him." Within a week, Leo was forcibly adopted by half of the clone units and glared at by the rest. He's not complaining tho.
Quirks
Hacker voice "I'm in."
Lives off of coffee and Cheetos.
Secretly loves and respects the entire clone unit but will never admit to it in a million years.
Rosh Okoye. Code name: Usizo. Rosh is a bit of an odd duck in the clone unit. His family worked as healers, doctors, and medics in different refugee camps through the outer rim but never really crossed paths with the GAR or the Rebellion. That was until Mako showed up at one of the camps. Mako may have gotten a little (cough, cough, a lot) turned around while on a recovery mission. He completed the task, but it would take the squad another two or three days to pick him up. So, he decided to work while he waited; helping Rosh and his family out in the clinic. The two became best buddies, and by the time the squad swung back around to pick Mako up, Rosh decided to tag along. He figured that the Rebellion could always use another medic.
Quirks
Tall Boy. Like very, very tall.
A bit of an airhead. He spaces out from time to time.
Love spicy food.
And! Now I am done.
Good lord..... that was a lot.
Anyway, I hope that you like the boys. And the girls. I plan on drawing them more here soon-ish...... but I need to recharge the old batteries before I do that.
I should have a new chapter up for the fic here soon too. It's like 90% written, just needs some editing.
Night Y'all.

Honestly the 212th are all insane, and the way (in canon and in fanon) people view Cody as by-the-book and boring is so funny. Where do you think they learned it from? And honestly that fact that the bad batch like Cody is the only character ref needed to back this up
There was a chain of clips I watched, with various 212th pulling dumbass stunts like:
-dog piling grievous
-punching a droid ( this was on Christophsis so I'm not sure it was confirmed 212th and not 501st)
-kicking a droid
-etc
I couldn't find the one I watched, so please have this meme that's fairly close:
https://www.reddit.com/r/CloneWhoPunchedADroid/comments/rfrvhf/there_is_more_droid_beaters_in_the_212th/?utm_medium=android_app&utm_source=share
(the whole subreddit is pretty good)
Yeah no the 212th is insane and the only reason no one notices is because Cody is good at pretending to be a Professional Soldier. I bet he gave his trainers so many grey hairs.

I made another Clone Wars sketchdump, whoops ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Here are some more of my Star Wars ramblings/head-canons: - I very much ship Ahsoka and Rex as siblings. ‘Soka is 100% the 501st’s little sister. After the clone wars, their relationship evolves from big brother and little sister to just brother and sister. As equals. - Cranky sleepy Rex is inspired by a fanfic called ‘Regrettable Life Choices’ by Project0506 on AO3. I keep going back to it. It’s so funny XD - As you can see by my cadets sketch, I also head-canon Rex as being born with blond hair. It just seems too unrealistic to me that he bleaches and dyes his hair every few days while there is a war going on. I think it’s much more likely that it’s a genetic mutation. Jango had a blue eyed, blond sister after all. - I think Rex and Cody have known each other since they were cadets. I imagine Cody taking pity on Rex being bullied about his hair and taking him under his wing because he sees his potential. So Rex serves in the 212th first, under General Kenobi and his padawan Skywalker. When Anakin gets knighted, Cody recommends Rex for ARC training, after which he is assigned his own battalion under the newly knighted general Skywalker. I bet Cody regrets that choice more than once. - In this house we stan clones with curly hair.
(I used Kibbitzer poses from their Patreon packs as references and adjusted them to my needs)
Image ID under the cut
[Image ID: six pictures showing several characters from Star Wars. The top left is an image of Rex in his Phase 2 armor carrying Ahsoka, with her season 3-6 outfit, on his back. She has a bandage on her leg but doesn’t seem too worried about it. Rex is looking a bit exasperated but fond at the same time. The top right image shows Echo and Fives. They’re wearing their blacks and the bottom half of their ARC armor. They look like they have just been through some intense training. Echo is doubled over, his hands on his knees. Fives is next to him, sitting down, his arms leaning on his knees. He’s looking at Echo, exhaustion on his face. Below that is an image of Rex dressed in his blacks, laying on his stomach in bed. There is a strip of light from a door shining exactly in his eyes. He has one eye closed and the other open in a squint. He looks extremely annoyed. On the left of that is an image of Cody and Rex as cadets. Rex is slightly shorter. They’re both wearing cadet uniforms and have their hair semi long and curly. Cody’s being dark while Rex’s being blond. Cody is facing the viewer looking at Rex from the corner of his eyes, while Rex is standing with his back to Cody, looking over his shoulder at him. They’re both trying to look serious. On the middle right is an image of Kix, Jesse and Hardcase in their phase 2 armor. Jesse is in the middle and has his arms slung over Kix and Hardcase’s shoulders, grinning. Kix is on the left, facing forward, a grumpy expression on his face. Hardcase is on the left, slightly facing Jesse, an equal grin on his face. On the bottom left is an image of Fives and Tup. Fives has his ARC armor and Tup his phase 2 armor. Fives has his hand on Tup’s shoulder, smirking at him while gesturing something. Tup is facing Fives, an attentive look on his face, his arms held in front of him in a lightly nervous gesture. 501st / 212th Hijinks
· If you think Hawk and Odd Ball use every mildly acceptable opportunity to drag race, you’re absolutely right. Most non-mandatory flight exercises are just an excuse to let them go at it.
Helix and Kix have dart guns locked and loaded for any officer or Jedi avoiding sleep or medical. They’re fed up and they’ve got good aim. Once the ‘hours without sleep’ clock hits 24, The Most Dangerous Game begins.
Fives and Ahsoka are loveable hellions and must be kept away from each other when not being supervised. They’re too powerful alone together.
Force help Lux Bonteri if the 501st ever found out he was playing flirt with their Commander Tano. The only men she needs in her life are her dads, grandmaster and limitless supply of older brothers/uncles. No Seppie is dating their ‘Soka.
They are, however, very interested in updates on this Mon Calamari King that Ahsoka has become pen pals with.
One of the most disturbing things these legions have witnessed was not an act of war, but a carnivorous 14 year old taking down a large ungulate on some remote planet and proceeding to tear into it raw…before asking if they’d wanted any.
Tup was in fact not yet in the legion to witness that event and his brothers had the pleasure of watching him alone scream bloody murder at an equally bloody Ahsoka walking back into camp.
If there is a clone pile to snuggle into, Ahsoka will be in the middle of it. If there isn’t, she’s either sleeping on Anakin or Rex, or both.
There’s a running bet between the 501st and 212th on who can get their COs together first. The 501st was dealt a heavy blow when General Kenobi called Commander Cody “dear” during a meeting, but this will not deter them!
Their COs have been together in secret for months and just enjoy watching the men’s not-so-subtle antics. They’ve agreed the next ‘leg-up’ will be Anakin holding on too long after helping Rex up, patting his shoulder and watching the boys silently lose their minds.
Waxer, one of Ghost company’s best scouts, is great at hide-and-seek. Obi-Wan took him to visit the temple creche on leave once, and the man had the time of his life hunting down kids and in turn hearing them get frustrated when they couldn’t find him until he let them.
Longshot is the only one not allowed caf because it seriously screws with his aim.
Fruit is a highly sought commodity when the men are planetside; when all your meals taste like a load of nothing with a hint of cardboard, fresh fruit is like candy. Nevermind actual candy. Fights have broken out over single pieces of candy going missing.
Shaak Ti acts as a way for Ahsoka to have connection with their culture, and when the two go on field trips to Shili they take some men with them as a guard (read: they also get a cultural field trip); there’s a waiting list so everyone gets a turn.
Anakin and Obi-Wan were able to land those little ice cream cups with the wooden spoons as a treat for their troops during a long campaign. Hardcase had twelve and proceeded to have a sugar high that still gives Rex nightmares. It lasted long enough that come time to move they just set him on the Separatist base they were to clear and he did most of the work while laughing like a maniac.
It’s not that Kix and Helix are bad patients, it’s that they don’t trust any of their squadmates to be medics. They will patch themselves as best they can but anything beyond jamming a stim in their necks will be left until the other can arrive to their location. Kix would rather nearly bleed out than trust Fives to put an IV in his arm; he will do it himself or wait for Helix.
Someone once shaved half of Boil’s face but no one has been cruel enough to rat them out.
Wooley has a habit of collecting small soft things, whether or not he means to and whether or not the soft thing is an animal or an object.
Kix has a very pointed preference for breakfast food.
Cody and Rex don’t have favorites—they don’t! The love all their brothers in their own way. One of those ways is in how Echo and Wooley have given them the least headaches.
Pictures are routinely taken (discreetly) for wedding albums, of Obi-Wan falling asleep on Cody’s shoulder and of Anakin and Rex co-parenting their disaster carnivore of a teenager.
Anakin and Ahsoka have absolutely shown the men basic lightsaber forms, both to show off and in a worst case scenario if the men should need to use one.
One of the funniest things to ever happen at a strategy meeting was one Marshal Commander Cody walking in and dropping a heaping armful of robes on the holotable, staring square at one General Kenobi, and deadpanning “You dropped these, Sir.”

Working on a clone Batch, and I gave them to Mace's battalion
There is (so far) Rumor, Grunge, Bludgeon, and Synth
Rumor
Has a speakerphone painted on the sides of his helmet
He hears everything in all battalions, often used to settle bets.
Rumor was once called Gossip
Until everyone realized he had a 9/10 chance of being right
And the 1 chance would take a week to correct itself
Rumor can't keep a secret (to the vode) he can keep quiet around natborns, goes into listening mode
He is
ALWAYS LISTENING
Likes to hang around 79s for juice. And to collect bets
Rumor has known about anakin and Padme from day one,
And set up the bets with the 212th and 501st
Let it stew for the betting pool to get bigger
Then collected on it
Then
Grunge
Named for the music that he is always listening to
You can hear it from the outside of his helm, and he plays it out loud while working out
Always loud rock music, he's good friends with Rumor, mostly because they noticed they had similar tattoo and paint designs, Rumor having a speaker and Grunge having a headset on the sides of their helms
Grunge has REALLY long hair, and pins it up on top flat so it looks like he has bangs, It's a pain to keep up and the only thing keep it together is the helm, but he refuses to cut it, nothing hair gel can't fix, Rumor gave it to him to help
he has a nasty scar across his face, from ear to ear wrapped around his lower half of his face
Only his batch knows, on kamino a training grenade blasted right in his face, he managed to cover his eyes, hence why his upper half is unscarred (his arm is scarred though) but his hearing was greatly damaged, he's barely managing and can hear a little, he has aids, but military standard issue, not the best, so he saves charge on them by only using them when necessary, during a mission or briefing,
THAT is why he always plays his music so loud, he loves his music and doesn't want to give it up or waste his hearing aid, so he just turns his music up really loud to hear it
Grunge who can barely hear, rumor who's always listening, and then
Bludgeon
He got his name for using his gun for anything but shooting.
He's just
A really bad aim
Turns out he's actually near sighted but thinks how he sees is normal. They've all accepted it and did eventually get glasses for him, but he constantly forgets it as he's used to not having much sight. He has an eye with a teardrop on it over his visor... when asked if it obstructs his vision... well he barely had it to begin with.
Synth
Grunge's twin, Don't ask how they are twins, Grunge will say they came from the same tube, Synth will say they were decanted at the same time
Synth also enjoys music like Grunge, but he has different tastes in music, Synth is a trained splicer, given extra lessons into it on kamino when he showed skills. He is known for getting secret access to the holonet on kamino.
Give him a datapad and some music, time will be forgotten and he won't get up, or eat... or sleep
Synth has some circut board tattoos around his ear and has his hair short around the sides to buzz new patterns into and keeps his top hair poofed up and curly

Clone Shanties and Songs to Keep Track of
As of now they aren’t in any particular order or grouping by genre. This might change.
Some of these songs did not have titles in their original posts/submissions so some of these are working titles. Send in an ask and we’ll change it to whatever you want to call it. Same policy for the short descriptions afterwards, if you want anything added let us know and we’ll fix it.
The 501st On Leave (Drinking Song) - to the tune of the Colonel Bogey March [An upbeat song about the kind of antics that the 501st gets up to when they’re not fighting the good fight; Under a cut for adult implications (including references to drinking, drugs, violence, gambling, and sex.)] by @crystalshard
The Negotiator comes - to the tune of the Wellerman [Sung by the 501st when they are waiting for the 212th for reinforcements] by @songbird-wings
What Will We do with a Drunken Jedi? - to the tune of What do you do with a Drunken Sailor [sung by the 501st and the 212th; nobody’s quite sure which Jedi they’re talking about in the last section, a series of bets has been placed since there’s been multiple reported sightings of several Jedi sneaking off with politicians] by @songbird-wings
Leave her, Brother - to the tune of Leave her Johnny! [sung by the Shinies leaving Kamino for the first time] by @songbird-wings
The General’s Robes are Gone - [I don’t know the tune, but it just gets louder as every trooper joins in, and definitely something to make fun of Obi Wan specifically for a great time] by @alderaani
Jetii at Our Side - to the tune of My Jolly Sailor Bold [I think it speaks for itself, or sings for itself in this case] by @rose-blooms-red
He’s Got No Robes At All - (don’t know the tune) [Another song about how General Kenobi loses his robes, although maybe more popular amongst all the battalions since it seems that all Jedi adhere to a strict code of dramatics] by @the-stars-are-warring
Corrie Guards’ Guides for the Shinies - to the tune of Excursion ‘Round the Bay [Fun song about all the things you can do wrong and be put on Commander Fox’s bad side. A rejected, suggested title was going to be What does the Fox (Make you) Say] by @leias-left-hair-bun
“Bless” ‘em All - to the tune of Bless ‘em All [I love this song. It’s so great. I love it. It’s incredible and sensational, and definitely speaks to the Clones’ ability to deal with every single thing with a shit-eating grin as they mentally curse all the bad ideas and plans that they have to deal with. I do recommend listening to the version by Sods’ Opera (warning for language though)] by @leias-left-hair-bun
When the Last Ship’s Launched - no particular tune, suggestions welcome! [It’s sad, you have been warned. Also a ShantiesOfTheGAR original] by @shantiesofthegar
Growing up on Kamino - (don’t know the tune) [The clones bond about many things, and they share many things, being clones. And while they disagree on many things, one thing they can all agree on, is that Kamino Cloning Labs was a shitty place to grow up] by @kyber-queen
Good Soldiers Follow Orders - (no tune yet) [You might say “this is a poem”. And you’d be correct. But aren’t all songs just poems put to a beat. Certainly read better poetry than a lot of lyrics out there. This is very good and was prefaced with the phrase “Jesse Angst”. This is a very apt description. I’m going to go out on a limb and guess that it’s not made popular until after the Clone Wars, deals with thoughts, feelings and the fallout of Order 66.] by @pro-fangirls-unsocial-life
#clone shanties#clone culture#Jo does other things too#It's a masterpost folks#Wanted to get a consolidated list out there first#I'll get back to shanty writing soon#If anyone has suggestions on how to group things I'd be absolutely ecstatic to hear them#Currently am thinking of dividing them up as Songs about Obi Wan/Everything else#This is a joke#Might go back and specify whether it's a GAR special or a Corrie Guard Special or etc. later
