I’d save you from Twitter if I could, friend. Not saying other sites are free of harebrained idiots. I have Getou and satosugu blocked here for a reason, and I’ve seen screenshots of rancid fucking takes from TikTok and Instagram. Even Reddit—and I’m talking about canon discussion subreddits that generally ban ship talk—didn’t spare me from having to see people’s most reductive takes on this ship. But Twitter in particular seems to be where brain cells go to die.

Nothing in the world can make satosugu compelling to me, but objectively, it’s a ship with rich potential—for angst, for drama, for fluff, for toxicity, for love, for hate, for all of it combined. Like you’ve said, one of the most interesting facets of their relationship is how their bond culminates in betrayal. I’m personally quite interested in the fact that Gojou killed Getou despite loving him, after sparing him for eleven years because of the very same love. It’s not like Getou was ever harmless—he was a special-grade curse user, not the kind of threat you want running around. His cult activities and killings weren’t exactly subtle either. That angle—the fact that love makes Gojou turn a blind eye to Getou’s actions until he crosses a line even Gojou can’t abide—is very, very interesting to me as someone quite obsessed with Gojou’s characterization. People who have an equivalent interest in Getou would find plenty there to peel apart, probably. The two of them together would also offer rich, nuanced grounds for exploration, and I’m sure there are people doing just that.

But fandom spaces as a whole have become exceptionally sanitized recently. I’m not talking about people who generally simply prefer fluff and write that regardless of canon dynamics; there’s nothing wrong with that. We’re all allowed our self-indulgent tastes. But what you’ve described—a tendency to erase characters’ dark or grey morality, to think along black-and-white lines that put people into neat little boxes, to remove unsavory or unhealthy elements from relationships—has been plaguing fandoms more and more, especially fandoms with a large number of young(er) fans. JJK is definitely one of those.

I’ve seen similar takes on a lot of JJK ships as well as platonic relationships, like goyuu shippers asking why fic authors write Gojou as predatory toward Yuuji in canon settings with their canon ages (yeah, a real mystery why a 28 y/o romancing/fucking a 15 y/o would be written as predatory) and dad!Gojou truthers earnestly arguing that Gojou has paternal feelings toward Megumi (or Yuuji or his students in general) and is also such a good dad. I’ve seen it with even sukugo and tojigo, in the brief days before both wound up on my blacklist.

Basically, it’s a fandom-wide issue in the English-speaking JJK sphere (I’m sure the Eastern side and other language/region-specific sides have their own debates and issues, but I’m unfamiliar with those), and because satosugu is the biggest ship in this sphere, it has a significantly larger number of voices making themselves heard—as well as a significantly larger number of nuance-allergic dumbasses making themselves heard. The latter tends to be so fucking loud, often drowning out the other voices. It can feel inescapable, even with filters and shit.

- She would say she's best friends with all the Afton kids! Although sometimes it feels like she's friends with the twins (Evan and Elizabeth) moreso by default/obligation,,, it was the little things that made her doubt their friendship (liz's violent behavior and evan's,,,undiagnosed autism that everyone just thought was him being a weirdo)

- She totally had a 'best friend's brother' crush on Michael when they were much smaller (think maybe, 7-8) she grew out of it thankfully lmao (Lizzie was likely disgusted whilst this phase was happening "It's Maikol!! He's desgustang!! 🇬🇧")

- Elizabeth was the dainty, princess friend whilst Charlie was the rough-and-tumble tomboy!! (Very stereotypical yes, but they worked well as a bestie unit) Of course this doesn't stop Lizzie from catching bugs with Charlie or Charlie having tea parties with Liz!

- Henry was also an overprotective father (not to the abusive extreme that William went to), but more of a "I don't want you hanging around *whoever Henry didn't trust*, you understand?" Which annoyed her severely

Actually, now im thinking about it, Tony and Mami have similar but distinct character flaws that ultimately lead to their doom in similar ways. It all comes down to trust, and lack of it.

Like for Tony? What sets him up to fail is being so willing to unravel the mystery of GGY, even when people warn him repeatedly- his parents, crystal- that he needs to be careful with either investigative journalism, and especially with sticking his nose into GGYs business. But he cant help himself- even after Crystals warning, he hands in that story based on GGY, and even goes to investigate further.

His big character flaw? Working by himself, and not working with his friends. Imagine, what would the three amigos had created together if Tony hadnt rushed off to make a story without them, if hed actually used his social skills to talk to his friends instead of a multitude of strangers, and convonce them to help him? It wouldnt have been the GGY story, thats for sure. It wouldve probably been more fictional, if Ellis and Greg had worked on it to begin with. And Greg probably wouldve suggested a better idea than researching some high scores on the arcades.

Just. Including his friends and trusting them to work with him wouldve saved his life by preventing him from ever getting on GGYs bad side.

And the thing that seals his fate? Is trusting Greg, and not putting 2+2 together to get "Omg, my new friend killed the therapists. And may kill me if I dont keep my mouth shut." If he does go to the pizzaplex with Greg afterwards... rip. Its over, rover.

For Mami? What sets her up to fail is making her wish and becoming a magical girl. Shes unlike any of the other magical girls in pmmm- she makes a wish selfishly, purely for her own benefit- begging Kyubey to save her life. Even if, she could have used that wish to save her whole family from the car accident. I cant blame her- she wouldve been scared to death, and just begging for anything that could help her at that point. And we know from later, that making wishes on behalf of others (like Homura, Sayaka, and Kyouko did) can also lead to tragedy.

But making that wish, regardless of how understandable it was, doomed her to be a magical girl. A fate theres only two ways out of. You die a magical girl, or you die a witch.

Her character flaw, of sorts, is similar to, but distinct, from Tonys. She works primarily by herself, like him. But she has wanted to work with other magical girls before, its just never really worked out. Shes made efforts in the past to work with others, and does a good job when with them. In timelines where madoka becomes a magical girl, they work together, alongside Sayaka, Homura and Kyouko sometimes. For the most part, she pulls off working by herself as well as she does working in a team. Shes self sufficiant, she can win her fights pretty easily using years of experience. Shes given chances to get out of her fate- Homura warns her against taking Madoka and Sakaya with her to battle Charlotte, warns her not to go. But she doesnt listen to Homura, instead ties her up out if the way. She doesnt trust Homura enough to let her help, because Homura keeps trying to kill Kyubey.

Working by herself in this timeline, having no family or friends to confide in, leaves her lonely. It leaves her susceptable to...

What ultimately kills her. Its trusting Madoka and Sayaka in the current timeline. Neither girls are magical girls at that point, but Mami learns to trust them in battle, despite that they cant actually help her in battle. She stops behaving in her self sufficiant manner, and thats what lets Charlotte get the drop on her. Mami got so used to working on her own, relying on herself, that the minute she thought she could get a reprieve from her loneliness, she dooms herself.

Theyre both just. You can track the trajectory of their tragedy, from the little mistakes they make. To the flaws that ultimately doom them. And in both cases, its trusting someone who cant be trusted. Madoka cant save Mami from Charlotte- she cant even save herself- shes not a magical girl! She and Sayaka just cling to one another as Kyubey begs then to pact with him and make a wish. Without Homura being set free after Mamis death- from the trap Mami put her in in the first place- both the girls wouldve also veeb eaten.

Tony, like Mami, made a very human mistake- trusting his new friend even if theres red flags that his 'new friend' isnt who he says he is.

Soo Gojo is a selfish dumbass but it seems that he has been steered by Rie this whole time with every decision HE has made regarding how he treats YN after their break up. The clown knows he is in the wrong too, but does it anyway, not giving a shit about whether he hurts YN since.

I feel as if, Rie returning to the city and going after GoHo was preplanned. god if i were to write like. a heavy au fic of drv3 i'd absolutely do protagonist kaede and sidekick miu. i call it the 'sidelined female characters with unfulfilled potential finally become plot relevant' au

i was talking about this with a friend once and the false protagonist plot twist wouldve worked better if shuichi was the initial protag and ended up executed in the first chapter. given that kyoko was the original ultimate detective, you'd instantly trust him and accept the idea that he was the main character so him jumping the gun and killing the wrong person in pursuit of the truth would've been more jarring. like as much as i love shuichi's character arc learning to trust his skills as a detective, i feel like kaede could have had a really interesting arc learning to be a leader when her talent as a pianist doesn't generally lend itself to that kind of thing. it's pretty clear not everyone thinks her music is as calming as she thinks it is so there could be a kind of disconnect of her not knowing the best way to help people

you'd still have the lingering paranoia of 'anyone can be driven to murder' because shuichi was the person everyone relied on to find the truth, but now you dont have a fridged female protagonist. like i don't think kaede was a character without flaws either, i think she was pretty well written for the single chapter she was in the game. she came off as pushy and a little bit impulsive sometimes and like kokichi was quick to point out that sometimes backfired, especially since not everyone could match her energy and got easily frustrated by that

in the character notes kodaka said that miu was supposed to provide more gadgets to help with the investigations like in the first chapter, but it seems like that idea was kind of pushed aside in favor of developing kokichi and the training trio. which is a shame because i feel like she and kokichi are very similar and they could have used that in a character foil kind of way instead of just killing her off. they were both kinda loud and obnoxious, had a tendency of pushing people away, had trust issues, and always put on a front to hide how scared they were in the killing game. that and the fact that there's a scene showing kokichi asking her to help with his plan could have made their relationship very interesting. kinda similar to how kokichi and kaito's relationship ended with mutual understanding. like they still hated each other but in the end they understood the other's motivations and the reasoning behind their actions better than anyone else

anyway im getting sidetracked i feel like the concept of miu suddenly getting her ultimate talent after coming out of a coma and subsequently being adored by everyone and attaching her self worth to her inventions was really good. she puts on a tough exterior to hide how insecure she actually is and tbh? if anyone could break that exterior it'd be kaede. she's stubborn enough to see the good in everyone. kaede could definitely recognize how smart miu is during the investigations and maybe that recognition outside of her skills as an inventor would be really good for her and get her to put down her walls. i just think they couldve done a lot more with kaede and miu

starting with a weird delivery on the "you drool when you sleep" line was a choice, i always though it was glib and slightlky mocking not a stoic statement. then we get grover being the opposite of empathetic talking to percy and percy himself not showing any signs of injury after being in what should be a 2 day coma.

moving on to the dionysus scene, percy isnt given the chance to figure anything out for himself, so rather than him being as smart as his is in canon we just get more exposition, some people love dionysus personally i think it completely undercuts the gravity the god has especially since we dont have anyone showing diffrence to him. in addition we have gotten rid of grovers core motivation by saying yes he did complete his task. no idea why hes still around when he can be a seeker wihtout further proving himself.

next up we go to the hermes cabin, where percy either doesnt care about posidon or hates him out right, instead of wanting to know his dad (which is a core conflict throughout). the cabin itself is either huge, far less crowded than the books, or both. either way it takes away a lot of the weight of kids being left unclaimed, it adds to kids feeling like they dont matter and i definitely think having chiron deliver that infomation rather than annabeth or luke makes it exposition again rather than kids being frustrated with their parents.

next we have grover meeting with the council of the elders, this one is probably quite personal but i dont like how inhuman they made the dryad. here we also have grover trying to figure out why sally isnt a physical corpse so he can tell percy shes actually alive. this takes away from the fact that percy thought she was dead and was going to try and pull an orpheus regardless, and makes it seem like hades was oppertunistic rather than directly aiming for percy, or atleast sally as a bargaining chip for his helm(honestly i find it werid that niether zeus nor hades tried to kill percy, makes being posidions kid far less of a big deal).

now we introduce the concept of "glory" (@percabeth4life probably has smt to say abt the use of kleos because sei mentioned its not a propper undersanding) . luke tells percy the only thing camp is good for is to get glory and satus. not only is this explicity a roman thing in the books, but camp is meant to be family and safety for demigods. we have clariesse introduced because of the pecking order ig, then we have percy introduced to the different diceplins. this is actually somethings i have irl experience wiht yayyy. its clear percy hasnt been given any guidance in these activities and the other campers are certainly up to debate. in archery any instructer worth their salt wouldve given percy a lower poundage bow and stopped him before taking that first shot because none of the form was anything close to correct and its clear he didnt have the strength to bring it to a full draw (notice the bent arms). the forging is just ridiculus, there isnt any world where you hit orange metal and it flies appart like it did, but i shouldnt expect much since they gave percy a ball peen hammer, which is typically used in cold metalwork, like peening over a nail or striking a punch. and i might as well mention what little we saw of the combat training. all i coaught were the frankly ridiculus limp writsts holding the lances.

next we have the toilet scene, for some reason clarisse knewpercy would be breaking curfew so she could attack percyfor stolen valour rather than just hazing, percy almost gets a swirly, then he presents unprecidented control in shooting the bullies wiht toilet water rather than just exploding the whole bathroom.

we have the dangers of being a forbidden chikd rather than a child of the big three, so rather than being more at risk because youre so powerful, your in danger because you werent meant to exist. bit weird and takes away from the impact of being a big three kid imo. then we have luke syaing they thought abt leaving annabeth because thatlia would attract monsters, asif annabeth didnt do that on her own, so theyd be condeming her. then we get the first part of hyping up a 12 yr old annabeth as the most powerful demigod, which... sure in four to five years time an argument can be made but not when she was 12, girly was arogant and overestimated herself.

next up theres capture the flag, which yay time to complain about how useles the armour is. the shields should be ateast twice the size especially since it should cover you and the soldier next to you, not just your forearm, the helmets should come down much farther so they cover some of the neck, most of the face, and the nose tang comes down to the top lip atleast. annabeth has layered pauldrons which just... werent really a thing as far as im awear. going onto the swords, theyre tiny, a sword is roughly as long as your leg on the short end, these are maybe as long as your forearm. now my beef wiht the fight coriographer starts up again, because clarisse definitely has no idea how to fight with a spear, theres so many instances where she shouldve just dropped it an switched to a short arm. her spear is broken because of stupidtiy rather than percy having a water boosted level of skill. to cap it off we have the claiming wich is really forced, rather than posidon being forced to claim percy becaue the kid had just been disembowled, theres some baby scratches that heal because annabeth shoved him in the "creek", then theres no reverence and fear of what it means to have a son of posidon present.

now that percy has been claimed we see his cabin. is it a comforting place that feels like home? no! its the ugliest temple ive ever seen made out of marble thats a shade of blue that flat out does not exist. now instead of seeing how the camp rejects percy, making him want to leave and get his mum back, we cut straight to dionysus arging like a petulant child, getting rid of the last dregs of respect you could have had. they claim posidon resents zeus for being king of the gods when theres a whole ass myth where Posidon Hera and Athena dethrone zeus and then lets him back because they want Him to be king, just better.

to tie the whole thing off, mainly because it was that last thing we mentioned in the gc, annabeth is just so stoic about the whole thing when she is one of the most emotive characters in the series, especially in the first book where shes constantly making demands of percy. it feels like shes had her post-hoo personality poorly grafted on to a 12 yr old.

i dont know, i get why people didnt like the ending but its. .. . it makes more sense in the comicverse. bc the squad doesnt really. .. interact outside of jobs? i mean, think of the moon landing story in ttt. that was booker and joe and nicky doing a job and andy only showed up a for a couple minutes after it was done. or the brunch in the first issue of opening fire. the squad arent as tight in the comic, and andy often seems to do her own thing outside of work, so andy saying 'i dont want to do work anymore' and the squad being like 'alright bye then' makes more sense in this universe than the movie one

also i feel like greg was Trying to set up a thing where nile becomes the Leader of The Squad after andy dies but like. its not very well done since. . . i mean, nile hasnt spoken to booker since opening fire, (and she only knew him A Day). and shes known joe and nicky all that time, but there isnt really anything that indicates that they have any relationship at all, much less one that's grown. in all the comicverse the only time nile and nicky speak is in FM, and in that scene nicky tells nile about noriko. nile goes from someone who needs to be set aside to have background knowledge explained to her to being the Leader of the group with nothing in between. it kind of... comes out of nowhere.

on the other hand tho... i felt really bad for andy thru the whole thing. well, i always felt bad for andy, but in this one she seemed so miserable, especially since it really felt like none of the others actually.... cared about her. when noriko came back no one asked andy how she was doing (big question ik, but it wouldve showed they cared at least), nobody ever expressed any concern for her, no one even really seemed to want to be around her. in opening fire everyone was more distant than in the movie of course, but there were little moments where she would joke with joe, or nicky would try and comfort her, or stuff like that, but in FM it really felt like they just didnt really care about her. & in opening fire it felt a lot like andy's relationship with nile breathed some new life into her, but in FM it felt like all they did was argue. i get theyre not *as* close in the comics but it really felt like the only person who cared about andy at all was noriko (which was probably also how andy felt) but it just seemed to come out of nowhere. honestly i was reading and i was honestly agreeing with andy that she might just be better off if she did just die. opening fire, on the other hand, never make me feel that way

tho everyone made it sound like when the squad split up it was one of those cursed 'the found family leaves each other at the end of the journey' tropes. but guys i mean,,, this is the second installment out of three. that isnt the End. theyll come back in the third one and Dramatically Reunite to fight some baddies (probably those 'others' noriko mentioned). im guessing yitzhak fits into that too somehow.

anyways it wasnt That Bad but it made me kind of sad and the only Sweet Found Family vibes in it were when they saved booker. also they shouldve beefed up that nilemoose romance, it underwhelmed me. 6.5/10

thinking about pok lives and goes on spring break au heres everything in my brain atm

Pok gets enough money working for the government to get a new house so they no longer live in an apartment and instead are in like a nice lil 2 bedroom 2 bathroom house and the bad kids come over freshman year bc riz is like "oh my dad should know something about these palimpsets i feel like he'd know about them" and he's not of much use but like. to give yall some perspective on how i imagine pok in this au he's like this goblin w huge scars covering him who is like?? kinda athletic?? and he is also still a spy and still goes on missions so when they first meet him hes in this fairly nice house in like a button up and cardigan w plaid pants and has his hair like tied back (bc i think he would grow it out) in a low ponytail drinking coffee. and they've never met Riz's dad but suddenly just everything about Riz makes sense this guy is his fucking dad?? and he works for the government as an accountant?? dude this guy is cool as hell wtf.

He's just very eloquently spoken and seems to know a lot about things accountants shouldn't care about (why did riz send us to his accountant dad to look at a palimpsest why would his dad know anything about this?) and so thus begins the convincing riz who knows what his dad does that his dad is in the mafia.

btw this isnt rlly dating headcanons so much as backstory, how you met, and shit leading up to actually getting together i went so fucking overboard and went the complete opposite way of what you asked ill do a part two with ACTUAL dating headcanons if youd like anon just tell me and ill do it

- i think you wouldve worked for garrison originally

- in season one when hange started the experiments on sawney and bean thats when you would've met them

- you had been a big fan of their research studies for a while, so being in front of someone you thought was so cool was a little nerve wracking

- you had just became newly appointed as a captain for a garrison squad, being one of the youngest recruits to get the position, which also meant some people thought you couldnt handle the job

- you were good at telling others what to do, and guiding them when needed, you took over the leader role very quickly, you had to if you wanted to keep the position

- although you thought you were a good leader, others didnt

- specifically older members of garrison who thought because you were so young, youd be naive

- and since you were a garrison captain, you worked closely with hange and moblit during their experiments

- any request they made for supplies or anything, went through you and youd get it for them

- they needed more help ? youre requesting three soldiers to the experimentation zone immediately. anything they needed you helped with, because you liked helping

- hange had quickly grown fond of you, they were so thankful that you were so willingly to have your squad help them. you remember the brunette grabbing your hand and saying "thank you for your dedication to this project and to science !" while bowing multiple times

- as unsanitary and childish as it was,,, you didnt wash that hand for a day

- hange saw how some members of your squad treated you, and it may have irked them a bit

- you immediately went into leader mode and started ordering your squad around "listen up ! i want this whole perimeter checked and searched for any evidence to help us find out who did this." a couple members groaned, and one man, who was in his early thirties made a comment about it. "theyre just stupid fucking titans. we're supposed to kill them, not keep them alive for some freak to experiment on them."

- yknow,, looking back on it maybe you shouldnt have went off on them the way you did, but you did because not only was the man questioning your authority and orders, he was blatantly disrespecting a section commander. "i am your captain. i am your leader. you will respect me, and you will listen to me. you either do i say or youll be suspended and taken off my squad immediately. and that goes for everyone ! do i make myself clear ?" you shouted. the man who had talked back raised his eyebrows, youd never once yelled or demanded things be done in a manner like this, and it clearly shocked him when you stood up for yourself.

- a bunch of murmurs came from your squad and you dismissed them, but not before stepping in front of your soldier in front of everyone. "between you and me ? you should be discharged for not only your blatant disrespect and defiance to me for months now, but also for your innapropriate and degrading comments about section commander hange. you wanna pull some shit like this in the future, not just to me but to anybody ? you should kiss your position in garrison squad goodbye, since youre too childish to keep your thoughts and opinions to yourself. now grow the fuck up and go do what ive asked please." the man looked scared as he stared at you, no one had seen you act like this before, his jaw clenched as he nodded and walked off, the rest of your squad dispersing with him

- you didnt notice hange calling your name until you felt their hand on your shoulder. you turned around and saw their sympathetic gaze on you. "thank you for defending me. are you okay ?"

- you rubbed the back of your neck and answered. "honestly ? i feel kind of bad, like i embarassed him or something." the survey corps leader tilted their head back as they laughed. "youre so kind y/n, but im proud of you." the comment, although lighthearted, struck a cord with you

- a couple days later you were requested to meet with not only the section commander but commander smith, as well as your superior, dot pixis

- the meeting only lasted about thirty minutes, but hange had boasted about not only your leadership skills but also your knowledge and ideas on various sciences. erwin decided to offer you a position to work under hange, and dot pixis agreed to have you transferred to the survey corps if you agreed.

- did your decision have to do with your crush on hange ? maybe. would you ever admit it ? no.

- pixis explained to you that youd be honorably disharged from the garrison regiment before being moved to the scouts' headquarters in trost

- you surprisingly got along well with others there. working in hanges squad was fun, and even though you were demoted from a captain back to a cadet you didnt mind

- hange had offered to share as much knowledge as they could with you, which led you to be in their office (as messy as it was) after work hours

- and thats where you met mike

- well, got to know him

- hange introduced you two when you first joined and the first thing the section commander did was NOT shake the hand you held out for him but to lean down and sniff around your hair and neck

- your face felt hot as you stuttered over your words, thrown off by his,,, unique, greeting

- hange and laughed and lightly pushed him away, before explaining to you that thats just what mike did

- back to being in hanges office

- for nights on end youd stay up together in their office, two chairs huddled beside one another while you read through books of research, not just from hange but from published scientists and anthropologists too

- mike had started joining you two only three days after you and hange started

- he would stay quiet, but would sit next to hange making them be sandwiched by the two of you

- after that you started to notice him more often

- down the halls he'd send you a small smile, which you brightly returned

- sometimes he'd be in charge of training that day, and he would wordlessly help you position your arms to properly block or punch when sparring with other members

- then he started bringing tea when he would come and listen to you and hange discuss different theories, articles and information together

- you didnt even know the two were dating until you accidentally walked in on them in hange's office

- they werent doing anything dirty, just giving each other a kiss, but you had walked in on them with a stack of papers captain levi told you to give to hange.

- you kinda,, stood there, slackjawed, while the two pulled apart slowly to look at you. hange had a mischievous grin on their face while mike just gave you a blank stare

- your face began to feel hot not just from seeing them but also because youre embarassing yourself by dropping the papers and just standing there like an IDIOT

- "uh,,, i- captain levi said to give you those documents you requested." your voice cracked at the end making you wince

- "you mean the documents that are spread out on my floor now ?" hange asked. you looked between them and the floor, then at mike, then back to the floor than back at hange. "yes." you said, and you could feel that warmth in your face spreading to your ears now too. "im sorry." you exclaimed, your voice sounding strained as you quickly walked backwords and closed the door in front of you

- you started avoiding hange and mike after that, and became hyper aware of everything that they did. they were TAUNTING YOU 🙄 you could feel it

- instead of small smiles in the halls, after you started ducking your head down when you saw mike, he would now give you head pats when you crossed him

- hange would let their hand linger on your shoulder or side as they shuffled past you during meetings or experiments, and would come closer than usual when handing you documents

- mike would give you teasing smiles when you got your ass handed to you during sparring

- and finally you were fed up ! did this count as workplace harassment ? you didnt know but you wanted answers ! so you went to the source, hange's room after dinner

- you didnt bother knocking, you just walked in with your eyes closed

- hange giggled, "what are you doing y/n ?" "making sure im not walking into something i shouldnt be seeing, section commander." "by that do you mean the kiss mike and i shared ?" "yes." "well we're not kissing right now." they said, and you peaked one eye open to be sure they werent lying, and they werent !

mike stood up from his chair and slowly made his way past you, closing the door. you took a deep breath before throwing all of your word vomit on blond and brunette duo. "so i dont know why you guys think teasing me like this is fun, but it isnt. it makes me flustered and nervous and feel weird and im not sure if it counts as abuse of power but i dont like it so it needs to stop." you huffed in a big breath of air after saying all of that, and hange rested their head in their hands.

"y/n do you have a crush on me ?" they asked. their voice was soft but they still had that stupid smile on their face. you could feel your face getting warmer by the second. your mouth opened and closed but no words came out.

" i uh, im gonna leave now." you turned around but hit something hard, and looked up at mike looking down on you, a smirk on his face. he put his hands on your shoulders and turned you back around to hange, walking the two of you over to their desk. he gave you a slight push, causing you to put your hands on the desk and lean on it, while mike kept his hands on you to keep you from running.

hange leaned into you, your noses barely touching. "i only ask because, mike and i have grown very fond of you." they said. you nodded a little bit, the tips of your noses brushing against each other.

"yeah well, id be a little sad if my superiors didnt like me, that would be kind of bad." you replied.

"can i kiss you ?" they asked.

and now is when your brain really stops functioning. thoughts fill your mind of mike and his relationship to hange. are they actually together or is it a friends with benefits kind of thing ?

"i uh, i cant kiss you." you replied, a bit breathlessly caused by both section commanders.

"why not y/n ?"

"well i'm not a cheater, or a homewrecker. i mean i assume that you and mike are together so, im not going to kiss someone in a relationship." you stammered out. this was making you very nervous, butterflies errupting in your stomach. you knew they were just teasing you, goofing around to make you flustered, but a part of you hoped youd be able to kiss hange, and maybe mike for that matter.

they chuckled a bit, before their brown eyes looking behind you to mike's towering form. "honey, can you tell y/n its okay if they kiss me ?" they asked. mike let out a small laugh through his nose before leaning down.

"only if y/n promises to give me a kiss afterwards." he whispered. he pressed a faint kiss to your temple, and you shivered from the contact. he was warm, very warm, and even though it was such a small amount of contact it did so many things to you.

you gulped before bringing your eyes back to hange. you looked to their eyes, and then to their lips, and continued that pattern silently in hopes theyd understand. you didnt want to be teased anymore ! you wanted something to happen.

hange got the hint and smirked, before leaning in again and lightly brushing her lips against yours. theirs were soft compared to mikes chapped ones, and the kiss was so slow, so innocent, it had you leaning in for more. it was a slow, lazy kiss, a kiss to test the waters, it helped calm your nerves, but also made your nerved explode with heat.

finally the researched pulled away, and put their hands on your cheeks, squishing them to pucker your lips, before giving a kiss to your forehead, nose and lips one last time. they let go with a soft smile on their face, and a blush of their own.

you could feel mike press his body down against yours, making your knees buckle slightly. he took his right hand off your shoulder to place it on hange's cheek, thumbing over the red pigmentation. he then turned your head up and to the side, before giving you a kiss of his own. this one was a bit more dominating, hard. his chapped lips scratched against your own but you didnt mind. in a weird way it made you feel at ease, having him take control of it, the same way hange did but his was just more, needy.

he pulled back with a shaky breath and looked at you before looking at hange. "so y/n," hange began. they stood up and made their way around the table, mike pulling himself and you up straight so hange could sit on the edge, pulling you in to stand between their legs. being sandwiched in between mike and hange made you so aware of them, and even though you were very new to something like this you felt weirdly safe and secure. "mike and i genuinely care about you, and we want to be with you the way that we're with each other. would you like that ?"
