PT2 | MAUGA & VENTURE × READER headcanons

[ PT1 HERE ] writing some more for them cus i cant get enough of their dynamic

Mauga wouldnt mind sharing you, polyamory was nothing new to him and he knew better than anyone about the need of exploring ones options and the fun that can bring. Plus, whats better than one lover?

Venture on the other hand... was not so keen on the idea. Not at all actually. They werent so much the possessive type and felt quite secure about their relationship with you, but what really irked them was that it had to be him out of all people.

Not only was Mauga full of himself but he also had no respect or consideration for anything other than materialistic goods and shiny things, or at least thats how Sloane viewed him.

If you had some fun with Mauga, Venture would know. Not because you bragged about it but because the sneaky bastard would leave hickeys only others could notice. Some behind your ear or the back of your neck, something you could, and often did, very easily miss.

If him and Venture had yet another argument prior, he would no longer bother trying to hide his markings. Instead, he would make sure they were as dark and as many as possible and would then leave the problem of covering them to you. He knew that Sloane would know it was him and that only irritated the archeologist further.

Forget about Mauga, what irritated Venture the most was how he pulled these little stunts and played these games at your expense.

But Venture was no better. Venture tried being the bigger person but they just couldnt. They were both childish in that sense.

So Venture played along. And when you spent the night with them instead, they'd make sure to leave something for the eyes too. Something for theirs and Maugas eyes only. Little bruises and marks along your chest, ribs or thighs, something they knew only Mauga would have to see sooner or later. Venture would then coax you to mark them as well in easy to spot places; neck, jaw. Hoping for that to be a silent but strong enough 'fuck you' to Mauga. They would even strain their neck and keep their chin high to make sure he would notice.

Even tho they disliked eachother they knew how to act civil and put aside their bickering when they wanted to. Sometimes, all three of you needed a break, some time to relax, so you would go out to a bar. Sometimes it would be a club, depending on the mood.

Mauga would keep ordering you a round of shots or some fun sounding cocktails, or whatever you picked out when he offered to get you something. It was cute at first, issue was he didnt know when to stop. Or he didnt want to stop.

With one large arm around your shoulders, he would pass you drink after drink.

Whatever you picked he ordered for himself too. There being a very obvious difference in mass, he wouldnt feel a difference while you felt the alcohols effect very quickly. But Mauga didn't see a problem. You were all here to let loose, no?

Venture would juggle between nonalcoholic beverages and some light booze while they cautiously watched you drink, unsure of Maugas intentions. With each passing glass they saw you get more bubbly, more chatty and more touchy... with everyone.

For the sake of your own dignity, they told themself, Venture would keep you close to them so you wouldnt wander off getting touchy feely with some stranger, or even worse, Mauga.

They'd keep you close as they held you by your waist. At this point you were practically wasted, your eyes could barely stay open, so you were both sat. Venture was sure you wouldn't be able to stand if you tried to. Your hands still feeling grabby held tightly onto and squeezed their arm as you leaned heavily into their body.

Mauga, enjoying himself like nothing, would try and snatch you away for a dance, feeling only slightly tipsy now, but Venture would quickly swat his pesky hands away letting you rest unbothered some more.

thank youuuuuuuuuu <33 and the truth is. idk. i am kinda just winging it and making a lot of adjustments as i go.... im not very orderly about it and have my thoughts kinda all over the place. heres some examples under the cut w what process pics i could find

first did a pencil sketch for big shapes. was just placing stuff down. i wanted to make ref sheets for an art trade but didnt want to make a traditional type bc i hate drawing ppl standing full body (bc im bad at it 👍) also i did not have specific outfits in mind and was going more for a reference of the general vibe of the characters, so i just wanted a full body pose + face close up. to avoid having to show specific details. bc i was cheating. was originally going to have multiple text bubbles around for the character facts

did like two sketches digitally. messed around a LOT with placement. the little emote heads came out of me feeling like it was empty and boring on its own and they are fun to draw so why not include them. the multiple text bubbles seemed like a bad idea now so i took them out and just did one text wall.

i actually dont like the text wall now and think breaking it up wouldve been more fun visually but that would've required effort i didnt wanna put in LOL

^ i lost the pencil sketch for this one (i always do a pencil sketch) but it was actually just the two half body drawings at first with none of that shit at the bottom or the close ups until i was like fuckkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk i gotta add smth around to make this look like theres stuff happening..... the idea was to draw the two main characters of the labb novel in some kinda comic format w panels around and i then. kept adding things until it seemed like i was getting somewhere. thats kind of my process for everything TT i think it helps to stay in a workshopping stage for longer if needed to get somewhere but i often get impatient LOL

im putting a stupid note abt this here bc im still annoyed at myself but in this novel, there was a bit about a crossword puzzle related to a murder case and i only thought of it afterwards that it would be kinda cool to put the sugar cubes in like a crossword puzzle formation....... why didnt i do that......

^ and heres some of the process for this one, but i lost a LOT of the steps for this. the beginning was totally different. the character wasnt as pathetic and scared looking at first but then i was like uhhhhh lets draw him that way :)

the first pencil draft was from a different perspective and it was gonna have a mirror composition to it kinda? but i wasn't able to make that look appealing so i deleted it. it still had the curtains tho but then i also included stuff with framed mirrors + other frames around

i decided to instead make the curtains be the focus of the whole piece to not make it so cluttered. character's pose was so different at first it was so bad i dont even wanna remember it. i took out the frames entirely bc i didnt think they added much to the piece in terms of the atmosphere. since like. the more i worked on it w the character's + the goat's expressions the more it gave a 'being hunted' feeling to it and portrait frames dont fit that vibe. which feels funny bc u look at it and thats all u can think abt but i wasnt even gunning for that when starting out. BE FLEXIBLE. TRUST THE PROCESS.

Are Sun's stupid? or are they stooped from learing?(EaPs)

ok I had this ramble inside my head after seeying the last EaPs episode with Sun kidnaping Captinal Foxy..be warned, is a mess is Sun really.. dumb? or is that maybe .. just maybe.. he doesnt retain Information as long as the rest? I'll make this into two points so this ramble has some order.. How do they learn? sharing a mind does come with issues? now, we know this universe is way different from the one we know, not only both DCA stared up aware of themselves, But they also seem to be coded way different.. I know most things said in old videos dont always stay canon due to the VAs forgetting it, but I know theres key details they try to keep relevant.. and I feel THIS video comes to play a major role on learning how similar both DCA's duo are.. How do they learn?

Both Moon's seem to learn by watching and Copying, Moon said that himself (along side the knowladhe extractor, but thats cheating) while Moonpea ha been showed to us this. He had grew smarter as both Eclipse and Monty helped him on his game and overall tech issues.. one by speaking outloud and the other by direct touch, Moonpea inteligence comes from the literally two people that often times come to tutor him.. (and dare I say.. Eclipse plays a way major role in teaching as he is the one closer and one Moon trust the most with his KC) And Sunpea? thats the issue here.. unlike Moon, he recives less attention and less teaching's from Eclipse, is mostly Ballora that had mention to try and helped him out but we havent see that yet.. Sun from SaMs had been seen to learn by steps guides and repetition, mostly from his Spell lessions but we can assume he had learned to mature by having to teach Lunar how to behave, then NewMoon and now Dazzle , aside from having to learn all Universe stuffs by being told too many times.. (plus driving, is mostly by repetiton too, at least is here) Sunpea in the other hand seems to spend his time alone, unless Pups or Ballora visit him, he doesnt seem to gain much exposure or outside knowladge besides how to type and open apps.. he's has knowladge tho, but that seems to only come out when is needed ,and that is basic human/child care.. aside from that, he's mentioned to not care about tech talk, so most times he space out while Moon does his nerdy talk.. we Know Moon had tried to teach him, keep him company and be there for him, but Moon himself is young too, and Im sure he doenst get the energy to bring Sun back from LuLu Land every day.. sharing a mind does come with issues? one issue adressed is the lack of teachers for Sunpea,,but say he does get it.. would it stay? we werent told exactly how the memories and space bewtween both AIs work, we knew SaMs had separated memories therefore if one learned something the other didnt ..this made even more clean after separation but the peas? does Moon developing faster has a side effect on Suns maturity? is maybe one taking more space than the other? is maybe the lack of troubles and not fighting a major point? we dont know.. and I feel like maybe this is the reason why Sun seems to stay more childish than Moon..

is because none of them have any need to mature fast, theres no danger to their lives YET, there's no fight for control ,meaning to pushing each other down..and no need to actually change.. Sunpea is happy on his little bubble, he seems to not have any indications or motives to develop,yet we know Moon's trying his best I just think Sunpea just need a space and reason to develop more,, and with the addition to Capitan Foxy and his increase on Obssesion.. I think we may finally see more of Him!

There has been a development in his opinions about the Pink Posse storyline.

He walked into the living room and went ‘i was up all night thinking about the Pink Pus-Posse thing. And i have several thoughts and even more disappointments…..so far but that’s to be shared when i see how bad it goes…i have zero faith’ he thought it out and came up with two different versions of his own opinion because and i quote ‘one is for serious and one is for shits and giggles because how can i take them seriously?‘ and in order to explain it to me he DREW STICK FIGURES. So please bare with me while i try to explain this shit. The “serious” opinion drawing is two stick figures representing britin and theyre standing close together with a heart above their heads. And then the Justin stick figure has two thinking bubbles, one is britin kissing and the other one is a stick figure Justin and a baseball bat. And Brians stick figure only has 1 bubble that’s like split in middle and it’s Justin and a baseball bat(Basically same as Justins) and Cody and Justin. And then on a bit further from them is another stick figure thats cody and his thinking bubble is bunch of stick figures with Xs as their eyes. Clearly I am related to picasso. And basically his opinion is that Justin is split between being free and happy and gay and between anger and revenge. And he has to decide between cody and brian(except he thinks it could be another ethan type plot). Meanwhile Brian only thinks this will lead to the prom scene again. And in fact he thinks thats what they might do in the season: hurt justin on a patrol and Brian freaks and then gives him an ultimatum for the first time and that leads to the i love you (you gotta give it to him, he’s persistent with the i love you), he also fully thinks Brian and Cody will meet and have a confrontation (which ngl now i am suddenly wishing we had that bc his reenactment of what he thinks will happen was entertaining). i was actually impressed by this bc so far he has taken the posse plot only half serious which i get. Even tho i was confused about the drawing but he said that at 3 am this is the only way he could make sense. Now the unserious version is a drawing that is basically a reenactment of Drag Race. Brian is in the middle instead of Ru and he has Daphne and Jen on each side and they are making fun of a stick figure Cody. Jokes about the buzzcuts and the pink shirts are written in little speech bubbles.

I now really wish the unserious opinion/drawing came to life because it would be a dream. Daphne, Jen and Brian just roasting anybody would be funny as fuck. Even if it’d be Justin

WOW! Your Brother is basically writing fanfiction (gap filler, Pink Posse arc) right now. I think the serious version could be an amazing fic - Brian confront Cody during the arc.

Also, I am DYING LAUGHING because if Brian is Ru and Daphne and Jen are on either side, that means one of them is Michelle Visage and the other is the-hilarious-Ross-Matthews or style-super-star-Carson Kressley. And I am living for this. And it makes me want to abandon middle-aged exes-to-lovers and write my RPDR/QAF crossover fic.

Oh, yeah, 1000%! Different tastes for different plates, no need to change anyone’s mind regarding this, haha. Sorry if I gave that impression at all, thats my bad. Its just fun to dive deeper into other people’s takes!

Poison’s shoes are veryyy amusing. Extra wrapped to be safe??? Or to protect the floor from the substances on her shoes, LOL, dalnfdakljn- The way the shoes squish down…theyre very intriguing. The colors are very fitting and I definitely prefer when a concept oversells than undersells! Interestingly, I think my favorite factor that contributes to it is her jacket, its a very modern design while also giving the bubbling vibes of chemicals. Thought it was very clever! The hair is really goopy, which I think is part of what pushes me away, but gotta give credit for its contribution too! Reminds me of oobleck, lol.

The goggles and mask looks really cool, ahhh! Im a sucker for gas masks myself, haha. And mad scientists can be very fun~! I can see why she appeals to you tons! Despite my major gripes with SWSH, I think the region’s Pokedex was really good, actually.

Oohhh, I get what you mean. Psychic arguably has a lot more going on with it in terms of accessories and colors, so I feel that! We’ve talked about how Psychic’s is perfectly cute, so its boringness doesnt come from aesthetic/design, just from a lack of conceptual embodiment/potential, I guess, haha. I could see how Sirfetch’d themself also limited the design by not just necessitating a swordfighter design but also one that has to be regal, so you can say the Miku got tamed down too much! I do like the leek hair as well, I think its probably Fighting’s most clever aspect, hehe-

I think your feeling towards Fighting actually is similar to my feelings towards Grass, like, it works, a cheerleader and a marching band pair, but I think the palette is flat so its kind of boring to me. Smack some green everywhere, put some leaves, totally Grass type, right?! I like the idea, but I think they got stuck on it and couldnt think of anything more interesting beyond it- I digress tho, haha. Im always easily forgiving when I cant think of a better execution and I dont hate the design, so it passes at the end of the day… Now that I think of it tho, they couldve had her as one of those baton twirlers/color guarders to better match the marching band theme and done something interesting with that…..but I guess being a cheerleader is more in line with Miku’s vocal role, so oh well!

”Oh, relax, big baby, its a fake gun,” Jinyoung said with an eye roll.

You looked at the man on top of you with a baffled expression, he flipped the gun around and shoved it to you, “see, carry it.”

You looked at the gun, then at the man, then back at the silver object with a gulp. You took the gun out of his hand, and to your relief it was indeed fake, with it being very lightweight and looking at it up close. Props to whoever made this gun look really realistic, at least at a distance.

Jinyoung laughed at your relieved expression, “did you really think I’d bring an actual gun?”

You shrugged at him, “I wouldn’t be surprised to be honest,” you jokingly replied to which Jinyoung opens his mouth agape. Now it was your turn to laugh, “I’m joking, baby,” you patted his cheeks and he pouted in response, “you’re fucked up, (y/n).” He says that as he laid on top of you.

There was a moment of silence until you began questioning why he had the toy gun. Jinyoung fidgeted with his fingers, sort of hesitating with the words he wants to say. “Baby?” Your calling for him sounded more dragging rather than a questioning call, as your hold on him got tighter. “I kinda wanted you to use it on me,” He blurted, not baring to look at you, while you looked at him with a confused expression.

“It’s not that I don’t want to, it’s just what if I’m gonna hurt you with the gun?” You held Jinyoung, which endearingly smiled at you. He admires how no matter how hard you go on him, he still can see how you’re very loving and caring towards him. The last thing you wanted to do is to harm your baby Jinyoung.

You’ve given yourself sometime to think about it. Jinyoung made it absolutely clear that he won’t do anything that would make you uncomfortable. Once the coast was clear, you’ve turned off your phone, turned back to your computer screen and turned on the video.

Typically, you would laugh at his typically private yet adorable affections, but you could only look at him with semi blank stare.

He noticed the stare in your face, his face shifted into a worried frown, “whats wrong? you’ve been acting weird since yesterday.” You looked at Jinyoung with your hands in his face. You couldn’t help but smile at the clueless boy in front of you, “Jinyoung, have I ever mentioned you’re gorgeous?”

Jinyoung’s confusion starts to get even bigger as his eyebrows furrowed. Not knowing what to say, he just went along with, “yeah?” It was clear evident confusion and you weren’t dumb. You knew he‘d be confused, thats the point, you want him to be clueless and confused about the whole ordeal.

“What if I told you that you’re all I think about?” You whispered, as you began caressing his face. His face was still grimacing in confusion, however he would lie if he said that the thought of you thinking about him nonstop makes him feel good and excited. “I love you so much…”

“(y/n), cut the bullshit, whats goin—” Jinyoung has had enough with your suspicious act and decided to confront you, up until he felt something on his jaw, which he ended up cutting his words with a gasp. It felt something cold against his pulse, his eyes were dragged to the source only to see something he wasn’t expected to see, yet is pleased. It was the toy gun he handed to you. His mouth was open agape, and you said, “I thought much through about it, and I decided why not,” you had a loving and evil smirk on your face, and he simply just smiled back at you, “and besides,” you leaned closer to his ear.

#94. so this one came with a head bandage and a little medical looking case to carry them in. i used the carry case as like an ‘ambulance’ or med helicopter to put ‘sick’ pets in and carry them to the hospital, and this pet had chronic illness so they were always the roommate patient at the lps hospital.

#10 and #142, the goldfish couldnt be taken out of the bowl if i remember correctly so. he felt sad and isolated but the seahorse was his best friend who was able to go anywhere so id stick him in the bowl with him a lot to hang out n make him feel better. solidarity

For my physical appearance, I'm African/Filipino, my hair is really curly and brown, and goes to about my shoulders and I'm tan. I'm 5'3" and on the heavier side, most of it is carried in my thighs and tummy :")(and it don't even make sense how much body fat i have with how active I am, smh, really annoying. Making me all insecure,, and for what?) my chest is also big tho, got them DD's lmao. I have brown eyes, they're kinda small tbh, and I wear glasses. My nose is kinda flat and big and my lips are even bigger lol

I tend to have varying aesthetics, I go from wearing fishnets, ripped jeans, band tees and docs one day to athletic clothing the next day and then wearing pink dresses and flats. I also wear a shit ton of flannels. It is overall in the alt type of feel tho. Sometimes I will gave more of a farmer look to me tho, not as soft as cottage core, but it looks like I've been out with cattle all day or doing gardening. Straight up, I look like a farmer, and I vibe with it. My nose is pierced and I have just lobe piercings rn(I want more tho).

As for hobbies, I am really interested in learning languages. I speak English, Italian and ASL, im currently learning Japanese, Spanish and Russian. I actually plan to double major in a foreign language and either saxophone or jazz, I'm not sure yet. But as you can probably tell from that, I'm also a band kid. I have over 20 instruments in my room that I play and I can play even more that I can't afford to buy. Music is a lot of my life, last year, I spent 40+ hours each week on band alone(I was in 4 different bands, marching, 2 jazz, and concert). I've been a musician since I was little. I actually have just been a performer since forever. I've danced, and still do dance. Currently I'm doing Folklorico, and that's what I plan to stick with. I have done ballet, hip hop, jazz, and tap. I'm also a circus performer, I mainly do aerial silks and flying trapeze, but I've also done hoops. At some point, I want to be a circus mermaid at some point tho. I really just love to put on a show for people. That's honestly just what I live for. Keeping people entertained is always fun for me, even if I get exhausted lol

I dont really have an ideal partner, just someone who i can trust and who trusts me. Also someone who will be willing to put up with how much I do and even maybe give me feedback on how something sounds or looks. My love language is physical touch and quality time, so if thats any help

Alright.. So the opening crawl was very.. politics which to be honest as i’ve got older I actually kind of enjoy that side of Star Wars but it doesn’t really add anyhting to the actual film because I think everything thats in it could be picked up by just watching the film. 

I kinda like the battle droids.. weird soft spot for them. I like the big ship ones too and Droidekas i thought were the coolest shit ever when i was a kid and i stand by that. 

I’m not all that bothered by the racial stereotypes because like.. i’m not the races they’re sterotyping but i can see why it’d be problematic.

Jar Jar isn’t as annoying as everyone makes him out to be.. don’t get me wrong.. he’s annoying.. but he’s not cancer. 

Aesthetically the Gungan City is pretty cool, giant underwater bubble city.. i bet there’s cool fan art of it somewhere.

Alright.. Film done. 10/10 Best movie ever. Naa tbh I enjoy the prequels more than most, obviously if you’ve stuck with me this long you know that but it clearly has its flaws.. still.. I enjoyed it! Not a lot happened, but hey. Another week.

Destiny #015

1) Hold the fuck up. Wait wait, just for a minute. There was a lot of shit that just happened and I'm precessing it. But lemme get this one thing straight. Sapphire is NOT dead. Obviously Peter would want her alive for Kyogre, but before that little but of info. I was CONVINCED that she was dead. I mean, I was just sitting there in shock and like telling myself "Yep, this is the point where I cry." but I didn't. And she's not dead. So I am assuming that the actual deaths in this fic are going to very... well I dunno how to say it. But it's going to be sad. But still on the topic of Sapphire, I am so happy she managed to (somewhat) get over her fear of salamence! This is a huge step for her! And it's really symbolic in the way that she was the one who defended Ruby from that claw, and just hmm so happy for her. Well, my happiness is taken with a bucket of salt as to how badly injured she is, but i'm happy nonetheless.

Oh! And something I forgot to mention in my last review was about the gym leaders, if the dexholders are going to win against Peter. They'll need the help of the gym leaders. And isn't it just funny that right as I was going to say that Sabrina saved them. Oooof if she hadn't saved them, then Blue would have been completely right. There would be mope than just a couple (if not many) deaths at that battle. They fought bravely, but dam are they underprepared.

Speaking of Blue, I found it sweet, but irritating for sure, that Blue was worried over Silver and (to some extent) Red. These were the things I was thinking before. What did they do to you? And here she was betraying them. And although she should have thought of the other dexholders and told them to flee, at least she told those two. I understand her reasoning-I need not to repeat it as Blue has said it multiple times, not to mention the whole controlling watchamacallit-but grrr. These were younguns that had no part in this battle and you didn't even wish them good luck. Well, she sort of did at the end. With the whole wishing for Sabrina to rescue them. Which I actually found interesting that she recognized as Sabrina's doing. It's no brainer, but stilll... interesting.

And the highly anticipated moment for me has arrived. The confrontation between Blue and Green! It was marred by the fact that I had to stop halfway through for something, but the moment was great for me nonetheless. And I thought you put up a great point during this! With Green saying why Blue was going to such lengths for revenge, I thought was a great way of explaining things to the reader. That may or not have been your intention I'm not sure, but I still thought that was nice. Because sometimes authors find lazy ways to justify a character's actions-or lack thereof-and it leaves the reader confused. Or if not confused, it sort of ruins the story for them as they realize that if it were not for that single action, half the drama in the story would not have occurred. But it was nice to see her response to it, and have her realize sort of what she was doing, and that she didn't really mean for it, but that she was just hurt. Perhaps there was no need tho as it was obvious that she was just hurt from the start. Well, I just wasted an entire paragraph on that, but I'll keep it here anyways as it's something that happens quite often in stories. And that pisses me off.

Oof, now tbh. i have nothing more to say on your writing. I've already touched on it a lot on my past reviews, and i feel I have not much more to say about it. I mean it's so hard to find good writing about pokemon, on , and you're one of the few I know. Anyways, thank you again.

Yep. Sapphire is NOT dead! Dex Holder blood has been shed, but no one died yet! And yes, Sapphire stands up to Salamence, which is a development that ORAS lacked (among many, many things), and also unlike ORAS, the claw actually hit her instead of pretending like it did for about a minute.

It’s the kind of underlying theme in Destiny. A casual player can never be prepared against someone who utilizes the full game mechanics. And every single Dex Holder is a casual. And so... they are not prepared. And yes, Gym Leaders can help, but... not by THAT much in terms of direct force.

Blue being hostile to the juniors is... well, another misunderstanding that could be cleared if she just got to talk to Red or Green. She was isolated from them for so long, and then finds out that Mega Evolution existed during the whole Mega Hunter event, and also finds out that there were far more junior Dex Holders after the Hoenn cast, and that said juniors were fighting alongside the others. It’s not much of a leap that the first thing she’ll think is “I have a lot more juniors and no one ever told me”. Ouch, huh?

Poor Blue, huh? She’s just so... hurt, with no one to really rely on. And... well, I do try to explain in-story why everything is happening. If I forget, I try to have it explained in the next chapter or something. ... And I better keep doing that, then!

Destiny #016

1) Well. Shit. I always suspected that fighting Peter upfront would do them no good. It's obvious. I've said it before there's no way. But that brings me to the huge thing that's happening in Kalos. I have no fucking idea what this one's gonna be. Nada. Pretty much anything about Peter you write so well the the reader cannot guess jack shit about his past, and what he's going to do. Much less his MOTIVE. Basically get the legendaries blah blah we've seen it a million times before, but for WHAT. This time's it's different. It's not some stupid ass reason that the writers put in as a shitty reason, this time it's obviously more sinister and he might actually accomplish it before the dexholders can stop him. That's what I imagine, that he actually does whatever he's going to do, and it's all chaos for a bit. But then the dexholders pull their shit together and manage to ruin that. Now this is one of my less convincing theories, because as I said. I have no idea what's gonna happen. But the way this is going, thats how I feel it will be.

Also like, I am so excited for the part where Blue and Green make up. I'm sure it'll happen. That's inevitable. I'm just not sure how, and I'm a sucker for oldrival so that'll be a treat,,,, (tho I know they're not a pairing in this fic, just let a girl dream)

One last thing before I end this, I just keep thinking that, I'm not even halfway through and so much has already happened. What the fuck is gonna happen next. Obviously a lot and it worriesssss meeeee. These are the things that keep me up at night, that's a lot of time for injuries and death and whatnot. (Obviously I'm exaggerating my sleep is unharmed by this fic lmao). But that's also a lot of time for plot and explanations. Oh boi am I excited for the explanations. Like actually, I wanna know why.

Anyways, thank you as always.

I try to write stuff like this partly as if this was an RTS game. SA did this, Destiny did it, and Legacy does and will do it. The story is mostly focused on the Dex Holders, with occasional tidbits from the bad guys. So the story is told from the Dex Holder perspective, so if they don’t know something, the readers won’t either. Mostly. It’s like the fog of war in RTS. You don’t know what the opponent is doing, and vice-versa. ... Or so you’d hope, anyways. You don’t know what’s going on in Kalos? That’s because the Dex Holders don’t. As the Dex Holders uncover “the plot”, so do the readers!

I* won’t burst your bubble, so don’t worry. I will make it grow bigger instead. They DO get to reconcile** soon***.

Indeed it’s a LOT of time for injuries and/or death and/or fates worse than death. And I try to avoid having a death occur “too soon” unless it’s absolutely necessary for the rest of the plot. So... there is still time~!

I look forward to seeing more reviews from you! You’re starting to get into the “good stuff”! ... I think.
