This wasn't meant to happen is the first thought that crosses Niki's head as she looks at the gun pointed towards them. She's not even really aware of what the man is saying, she can certainly imagine but his actual words aren't going through her brain fog.

Finally she does manage to get something out, a whisper to Tommy- Theseus- her baby brother, the youngest of them, "Stay behind me, I can take a hit."

He was the baby and so he needed to be protected, what kind of older sister would she be if she let him get hurt? She remembers when he was first born, he'd been such a tiny little thing and the others had cooed over him and wouldn't let her get near because they wanted him at to themselves.

She doesn't hear him if he responds, but she is aware of when he finally moves behind her. Some of the tension that had built in her shoulders finally releasing, he was relatively safe now. Safer then being out in the open where their assailant could shoot him.

This way she was the only target, if she could just keep him safe then everything would be fine. If her little brother is still alive and safe and doesn't have bullets riddled in his body then it's fine.

oh Absolutely the first two. getting a plant or a pet would fix like. 75% of her problems. a child is. a different matter. it depends on the circumstances. how old is the child? how long is she taking care of it? if its like, a baby for one week or smth, she could probably do fine as long as she has a parent or other guardian in contact. a toddler or older would Not be her forte though. she could take care of them physically, but not emotionally without some telepathy, and she figures thats kinda frowned upon with kids.

oh interesting. ive never really thought about the dreams they might get, i always kind of stuck to the canon dreams. hmmmm. if i had to say itd probably be dreams about the void, since cynthia was the most shaken up about what actually happened there. the way the void touched her mind was Deeply unsettling. also, in the non-canon version of her that goes to the hollowground meeting as eve (and where she has high subterfuge), she gets frequent dreams replaying her connection with hg after Situations in the rev demo. its equal parts comforting and distressing.

24: indulging in art is a little hard, since i kinda like shino x reader most, but i do like nejiten art, especially set in boruto! and indulging in fanfic is lovely lol, i love reading (obvi) and i love it when authors are so happy and proud of their works!

Krow has on idea that what it was born for is gone, that the bloody crown it fought for was destroyed. The hell it was born to lead is no longer, and it has nothing. STARR has never cared for survivors, and nobody wanted to bring Krow with them. And Magic, the only other clearing two survivor... seemingly gone. For the first time, Krow is truly alone, and it finds itself scared. Most people think of it as violent and dangerous, if they hadn't watched season 29 they'd heard about the cult, and didn't trust Krow.

since none of y'all know how the music program at my skl works i can rant so bands for next year came out today right

like 5 minutes ago

and in that time i have screamed eight times, lied down on the floor twice and almost broken my clarinet three and a half times this is because:

1. how the fuck did j move up and i didnt i am like 20 times better than him and this isnt ego its literal facts (but hey at least he's gone)

2. jazz bands havent come out yet ???????? why

3. i just found 2 new keys that dont work on my clarinet and i realised that i broke the barrel even more

4. also we have no fhorns cos they all moved up or are still in the band below which is sad but also wtf why we deserve fhorns

5. mhgfgjhkgybj i thought the tree licker was gone but i forgot she also does percussion so i still have to deal with her unfortunately (she moved up for trumpet btw)

6. why did s move down a band he deserves better

7. my sister didnt move up to the top band but other worse people did and thats not ok she deserves better

9. c should have moved up she was the best out of all of us but yet shes still in my band (shes first clari tho)

(in tears) this was so hard to decide. [mom] is a side character who shows up in the beginning and is the source of internal conflict for the main character (NOT the narrator) but i really fleshed her out somehow.. sorry. shes a single mother because her husband left her for a couple of reasons (he didn't like the city is the most basic one but i want to make it clear he always loved her and probably still does. but mostly it was because she was never very affectionate and he was and he couldn't like deal with it so he left) but she NEVER takes it out on her daughter she's a great mom (her only issue that shes been denying that her husband left) um . she loved deeply and wholly but she's just not one for words and all that. she doesn't know how to deal with grief so #repression and #denial and honestly. felt.

i dont knowwww she has long hair and shes short and her husband always liked curling into her if thats anything. shes beautiful (although hes the one that says that and rose tinted glasses so...)

Artekai is an athletic man in his early twenties. He has long, wavy chestnut hair that reaches past his shoulders, worn loose except for a braid on his left side. His default outfit consists of a blue sleeveless top that bares his midriff, a blue tulip skirt with red and yellow accents that doesn't reach his knees, and tall, light brown winter boots with red accents and blue fabric wrapped around them. He has brown eyes, cut scars all over his body, and a large burn scar on the right side of his torso and over his right forearm.
