Aah, Aïcha and Jean, my beloved... So yeah, those are their names ! They're my original characters, they're best friends, and they've lost one another. Death does that to someone... But what happens to the one still living ? They're both very dear to me, their bond is really interesting to explore. Did you know that Jean saw Aïcha as a sun, a star, when they were kids ? Did you know he used to cheer her on during her basketball matches ? Did you know that Aïcha considers Jean as her metaphorical legs, as the one keeping her moving forwards ?

What happens when Jean loses his light ?

What happens when Aïcha can't seem to walk anymore ?

Happy holidays everyone ^_^ This is for @sixteenth-day-event using the prompts: A hearty platter and family reunion (they're not exactly "family" but they are connected through this one event so I thought it fit well enough)

I came up with the idea of essentially the Red Banquet but Christmas Banquet, trying to fit in all the characters was defiantly a challenge but it was fun to draw everyone in their red banquet outfits!

What's an otome?

You read a picture book to romance fictional characters, anon.

(for reference: on page 2 the second panel characters are from Steam Prison. Vita touch mechanic mention is Bad Apple Wars and the sexism call outs is in Sweet Fuse.)

I struggle personally with the self-insert intended otome because I look at characters and go "that's my son now" and I can't romance my son! That's why I prefer games with a designated design and some bare-bones personality protags. THEY can romance my son.
