I’m gonna be a little less silly and goofy here because these are some genuine things that need to be brought to light regarding my personal stance on this

They wrote a lot about g3n0c1de and Aang and considering that I am white, I’m not gonna speak on that. That’s for the people of color who have experienced these types of things to argue over. I am, however, going to say that I don’t think Aang, Katara, Sokka etc’s trauma was all that deep in the show. Once more, they were written by white men who havn’t experienced a day of being a minority in their lives. ZK’s have a tendency to look at things for a doylist perspective rather than a watsonian perspective that this person may be confusing.

Also, the STW was never a colony. Neither were the air temples. They were never “a [tribe/temple] under the full or partial political control of another [nation], typically a distant one, and occupied by settlers from that [nation]”.

My main point here will be addressing the whole “sending people to bully others” claim, because I 100% stand by it.

Take a moment to close your eyes and image the first thing that comes to mind at this term

If your imagination came up with something along the lines of “ship wars”, then you’ll probably understand where I’m coming from here.

Kat/ang and Zutara shippers are CONSTANTLY at each other’s throats. It’s one thing after another of constant harassment (from both sides). When I say that someone is “sending people to harass and bully” members of the ZK fandom, I mean simply that they do not care whether their post that emphasizes peoples names and blogs activates a certain sensitive group of people in this fandom to harass them.

In other words: is does not matter if you’re trying to or not, you not only included peoples blogs in your post, but reiterated who they were and why everything they said was “so wrong”. You can say what you want about being morally superior or whatever, but your actions speak louder than words (ew I sound like an elementary school teacher. The fact that I have to phrase it like one is crazy though).

“I never told anyone to bully these people”. You are so so right, you gave them the opportunity to, you quite literally led them straight to these accounts. You did nothing to ensure that “oh, maybe since this fandom is constantly trying to kill each other I should probably protect these peoples identities so they don’t get unnecessary hate.” Because it WILL happen.

And I probably wouldn’t be this bent about it if this persons ENTIRE account didn’t revolve around hating on ZK shippers.

This is my main problem with the discourse, ZK’s May hate a character or two, but KA’s hate the people.

So once again, I stand my ground.

So the both of you could spend the longest time just talking, its ow he fell for you in the first place, getting to know you through your words and quality time.

⤜♡→ If you’re looking for easy going look no further than Togame. He is perfectly content to just enjoy your company. He doesn’t need much or have to have anything extravagant so long as he has you by his side that’s all he truly wants. Whether its just taking a stroll along the beach or sitting at home contentedly watching you play one of your indie games. He’s happy as long as he’s with you.

⤜♡→ I’m so glad you brought up earthy/woodsy scents because that’s exactly how I think Togame smells. Just this comforting scent of the outdoors not too powerful or overpowering, just a nice amount that you can smell as he holds you in his arms.

You blink the sleep from your eyes at the sound of your phone ringing, checking the clock you see it reads close to 01:30 am. Who could possibly be calling at this hour? Checking the contact you see that it was Jo. It was unusual for him to call you at this late hour, thinking something was wrong you scramble to answer it. “Jo is everything okay?” It’s silent on the other line, only for a moment before you hear his voice on the other end. His voice comes out slurred, obvious he had been drinking. “Babesss” He drawls, Togame always had a habit of calling you countless pet names. “Why aren’t you here, where are you?” You could hear the pout in his voice. Togame, the usual calm and collected one of the bunch tended to get a lot more loose when he drank, it was always amusing how especially clingy he became when it came to you. “Jo its almost 1:30 in the morning I’m in bed.” You can hear his whine, trying your best to stifle your laughter. “Well get out of bed, I miss you, come here. I wanna kiss your face.” That was new. You felt your face grow warm with the intentions behind his words.

As you were taking a moment to recover from his words, there’s a significant amount of fumbling on the other line. Sako’s voice rings through, definitely more sober. “I’m sorry about that we’ve been trying to keep him from waking you up.” You hear a lot of movement on the other line, no doubt Sako avoiding Togame’s confiscation of his phone, hearing his voice once more. “Sako, you ass give me the phone, I wanna talk to her.” To which Sako just lets out a burdened sigh. You giggle, shaking your head as you pull yourself out of bed. “It’s fine Sako, let me come take him off your hands, you guys are at the auditorium right?” After he confirms, you quickly grab your letterman, heading out the door to come pick him up. Once you arrive, you can see him perk up immediately, rushing over to you instantly. He wraps himself around you, placing a good bit of his weight on you as hangs off you, the impact knocking some of the wind out of you due to his large stature.

He smiles, nuzzling his nose into the crook of your neck. “I missed you.” He mumbles, works slurred into your skin. You had a feeling it would take quite a bot to pry him off of you and he would be deeply regretting his actions in the morning with the hangover he no doubt would be having. After some minor convincing you managed to get him to leave with you. Taking him back to your apartment, you gave him some water and painkillers to try and prevent his head from splitting when he awoke. As you went to go set up the couch for yourself for the night, you feel his grip on your wrist, he tugged you into the bed with him. His body curling around your own. “Don’t leave me.” His words were so pleading, he was hanging on to consciousness as it was, so you decided to stay. He smiles as he rested his head on your chest. “I love you, I hope you know that. Wanna be with you for the rest of my life.” His words trail off and within moments his breathing evens out before soft snores fill the room. You lay there in shock from his words, but knowing even in this state that he meant them. You just hoped he wouldn’t be too embarrassed when you returned his confession in the morning.

QSMP has brought many great things, and sadly a lot of bad things too.

But I just want to say that despite all this awful situation, in the end I'm very proud that my fellow Brazilians took a stance to support the admins even though we could say, despite the xenophobia that has been happening for awhile, we weren't truly the ones on the line of the fire with the admin situation at first. And before that, we were usually so divided over stupid shit, so everyone leaving all these things aside to support what really matters made me relieved.

And I'm really happy that we got this unexpected French and Brazilian union. That even though we're in the trenches, we're at least together lol

I can't speak for everyone, but I will still be there trying my best to support and defend the admins. Especially the French ones, who are often ignored or dismissed because people care so little for them doesn't matter how much they try to be heard. And things are beyond difficult right now, but I still have hope they'll get their justice in the end :)

Also, thank you for always speaking up here despite Tumblr having so little support for what really matters compared to everywhere else.

The brazilian community has really been the strongest troopers tbh like you guys faced waves of xenophobia and were somehow always blamed and catching strays whenever something bad was happening and despite everything you stayed super active within the qsmp fandom all this time and were never scared to speak your mind and use your voices for important things 🫡

And same the Brazilian & French alliance was unexpected but it makes me so happy whenever I hop on qsmptwt and see these two communities interacting and supporting each other. It’s like one day we just said fuck it if we both have to eat dirt we might as well hold hands while doing it 🇧🇷🫂🇫🇷

Also rip, with the attention that some french admins are getting right now I almost miss the day the french were ignored /hj. Let’s support all the admins, of all nationalities, justice and recognition for them 🫶🫶

but idk how much of the dol lore i’ve shared on tumblr, mostly because i feel like i don’t talk about dol as much on here? so i guess here’s a bit of a dol lore dump if you must!!! and just some other stuff about the fic too!

but forgive me if i have LOL but for those of y’all that maybe don’t follow me on twitter, dol was actually inspired by something that happened to me!

i mention it in the first chapter of the fic, but the whole package scenario actually happened to me with my neighbor! i used to actually kind of have a tiny crush on my neighbor (nothing crazy i just thought he was cute lol) and my package got delivered to him!! but he lived directly across from me lol so i didn’t bother knocking or letting him know when i got my package but he saw me on the ring and then came knocking on my door a few hours later asking about the package lmfao 😭 it was super awkward in my case bc my dad answered the door and i had just gotten out the shower and i looked so bad LOL it was very embarrassing and i avoided him until he moved out a month later lolbut yea i like to think of it as a little butterfly effect in my life! bc it brought me to the fandom and stuff! so dol is really special to me in that aspect, i turned an embarrassing moment in my life into something special haha

and then in actual dol, hitch annie and sasha are really a big combination of all of my female besties (i have several lol), but i have a friend group of four, and their dynamic reminds me a lot of the of the four of us!! there’s so many convos and tidbits of their friendship lore, i’ve kinda stolen from my friends and i and our stupid escapades 😭 if you read the one shot i did of mikasa’s college days, there’s a few little tidbits that are actually just about me i slipped in! i really love writing their scenes bc i think about my friends and our friendship and what they mean to me! one of my fav scenes i have planned is from a really pivotal moment i think of often between one of my friends and i!

this is me actually really exposing the fuck out of myself too LOL but for eren’s character too, i’ve honestly put some traits of all my past romantic conquests 💀 i won’t say much more than that but yea LOL

and i’ve also expressed my experiences with grief a lot while writing dol too! my own personal experiences and just in the last few years seeing how those around me have handled it as well!

i think that’s why i just love dol so much bc it’s like little pieces of my life broken into the story, i like to say dol is a love letter to those around me and the people i love! it’s from the heart truly lol it’s not perfect but the love really is there and dol at its core (or at least i hope it’s being conveyed) is about love!!! platonic familial and romantic!! but that’ll make more sense later i think haha

but i am also obsessed with all the ackerman relationships!! i’m obsessed w kenuri too!!! i think they’re all peak tbh isayama went off w them he cooked i fear. BUT THANKS SM ABOUT THE ERURI 😭🤍 YOURE TOO KIND ANON! in glad i have a shooter!!! maybe i will write a little drabble about it bc dol eruri is kinda peak to me they make me emo i won’t lie 😭🩵
