Any new thoughts about hsfr?

Also how do they meet? Are they all places into a big group in the beginning? Picking each other up one by one? (The classic chain meets character, mostly wild) are they first travelling around as duos and trios before meeting the entire group?

New thoughts: not quite new but I've been thinking about him a lot, Hunter. I think a lot of portrayals of tp Link have his major sad being from Midna leaving him (which was understandably devastating) but I think that he's dealing with a lot on top of that, just in general. He's always been different than the people around him and I'm not completely convinced that he was unanimously adopted by Ordon, in general, he (Like hero/ oot Link) grew up around people who were different from him and he noticed. He tries to fit in and he does get along well with most of the people but he never felt quite right. It's only until after the twilight invasion that it really becomes an issue.

There's also something about him embracing the beast he's turned into. He knows that many people would see him in his wolf form as a monster, and in a way, he is. But instead of it being a terrifying secret, he accepts it as part of himself. Maybe he is a monster. Only a monster can kill other monsters after all. He's not showing it off, but he's not really hiding it anymore. People are afraid of him more than they are thankful for the deeds of the hero, but he doesn't mind. Don't get me wrong, he still has a mushy soft heart and is still a sweetheart around kids and animals, he's just also a bit emo at the same time.

For how the Link's meet? I haven't made any concrete decisions, but I think it would make the most sense for smaller groups to meet before they all meet each other. It creates compound dynamics that would be really interesting to explore, like if someone beyond the timelines were orchestrating who would get along with who so that there wouldn't be complete chaos. General, King, and Guardian would be the knight group, Hunter, Gish, and Captain would be the 'eyeliner and life crisis' group with Hunter trying his best to be in charge, Sage, Linkle, and Hero, (and if I add a MC Link this is were they would be), as the 'weird little nature girl' group.

So they spend a bit together, long enough to figure out what's going on and to trust each other a little until they all stumble together. That way everyone can witness Sage and Hunter's reunion and the mindfuck of Sage and Guardian meeting.

Also, they quickly make sure that there's no default leader and that each of them has different strengths which means they each lead in different situations. Like during a fight, General and Guardian are typically in charge as they're both used to fighting in big groups, Gish and Sage (and Hunter) take charge while traveling as they're both very experienced with tracking and survival. If they're at Sea, Captain is in charge, If they're trying to get King used to ordering people around, King is in charge (he does not love being in charge), If they're in a mysterious forest filled with trickster spirits, Hero takes charge. If there are Cuccos involved, Linkle is in charge. That kind of thing. I just have a feeling that none of them are really begging to be the leader yk?

Book 2 au: sparring sessions and short hair katara

They like to have sparring sessions in order to keep their bending skills sharp. They allow themselves to go all out and not hold back at all cause they know if anyone got hurt, Katara could just heal them

So I was doing some math, and I THINK Skully is almost as tall as Malleus without his horns

I think the main reference to his height is Epel being surprised they're the same age because he's taller than Sebek, yes? which I find interesting, considering Jade and Malleus -- two of the tallest guys in the main cast -- are also there. and, since I've never been one to not think waaaay too much about the absolute stupidest minutiae about fictional characters, I see two possibilities:

one is that Epel is extremely good at eyeballing heights (I actually do feel like he could be? like. I'd believe he can estimate someone's height fairly accurately by calculating based on the life stages of an apple tree, or how many apples tall they are, or something else apple-related like that.) and Scully does, perhaps, fall into that narrow margin between Sebek and Jade in height.

OR two, out of the three certified Tall Guys there, Sebek is Epel's main frame of reference because he's the only one he's had any real interaction with for, let's be fair, pretty obvious reasons.

SO in conclusion, we still have no concrete answers and will probably have to wait until next year when we get his card profile, alas alas. 😔

I gotta say I would 🍿🍿🍿 some post s5-identity reveal with major prpr vibes. Like Adrien and Marinette realize they've been dating their crime-fighting partners unknowingly for a whole season but instead of immediately jumping to the "oh wow I love you even more, we know each other sooo well and even better than we thought" mood, they go back through yet another awkward phase, not knowing how to act with each other anymore. Like they realize that they know each other less before understanding it's more

Adrien tries to hold her hand and she just gives him a handshake. Marinette attempts to kiss his cheek but he gives her a very awkward "la bise" instead. They sneak each other not-so-sly glances in class or friends hangouts and turn away as soon as their eyes meet, but overthink the reason the other is looking at them. They give each other awkward back pats to congratulate or compliment the other as Ladynoir, and wave at each other for an embarrassingly long time with too-wide smiles when they meet for patrol. They don't know if the other considers they're still dating but they're too afraid to ask so they just avoid their usual romantic gestures as to not find themselves in embarrassing situations (and freak out when they notice the other is avoiding them too because does that mean the other don't want to date anymore?? Should they avoid them even more then if that's what they might want? Or attempt something then pass it off as something else if caught?)

also i never poster about this- but i had another forgettable dream. it didn’t make any godamn sense. I woke up and drew the only scene I could remember:

Wingdings and Sans had a fight and ig wingdings killed Sans 😭😭😭 in a stairwell for some reason

and current Sans, Papyrus brother Sans, is like watching all of this and was brought here by Lancer like a Ghost Of Christmas Past type situation. Idk why. I choose not to attempt to make sense of this anymore. But i swear this is an actual dream i had 😭
