i had a dream that i was the Onceler and i was just wandering around in the fucking backrooms until Cyrus from pokemon came sprinting towards me, stopped in front of me, and was very out if breath for a few seconds before he offered to help me out. and he smelled like raw meat i guess. However, not only was I the Onceler, but I was also disguised as an old lady, which meant that Cyrus did not recognize me as the Onceler, which was good because I, as the Onceler, for some (likely malicious) reason, summoned Cyrus to the backrooms and if he knew that I was the Onceler he would likely attack me. Then I woke up

So in making this edit it got me thinking about hand framing and stuff again

and I remembered post-s6 trailer I made this post, which noted that the "bloodied by Aaravos" hand that Callum holds up is not the hand usually highlighted (even when doing dark magic the first time or when holding the snake tail on Finnegrin's ship)

It is, however, the same hand in all of these scenes, representing the hand that both unlocks Finnegrin's ice grip and remains metaphorically chained by his other hand, and the one Callum clenches when making his second request to Rayla about the Promise

It is interesting to me that after 5x08, the hand framing is consistent again, just with the other hand — something something framing to represent Callum's epiphany and how it's permanently changed him in tandem with the Ocean arcanum being a permanent part in him — even if I don't think it's personally... quite that deep (for that I think I'd need him to hold the snake tail in 5x08 in the same hand as above rather than the one he does in canon) but I do always appreciate forms of consistent framing, and thought this one was worth pointing out. I think the hand being the same both times in 6x03 from the nightmare to Callum making his request again Is intentional, for example, and doubly deserves appreciation
