I have MANY HEADCANONS for these dysfunctional families so I’ll pick up my favorites and put them into character ‘catalogs’ to be easier. First Aftons then Emilys.

William Afton

I think their family essentially mirrors the dynamics of a narcissistic family, but I think there’s no ‘golden child’, and all of the kids are on a constant pendulum of scapegoat, lost child and golden child depending on William’s needs. In addition, Clarice fits the role of the enabler parent, but has her own twists of narcissistic behavior, and tends to woe herself way too much.

Sees his family (and even Henry) as trophies he was worth having, and obstacles like (grown-up) Michael, Charlie and Cassidy are his main targets to eliminate.

Doesn’t like when people pick up on his kids because it hurts his ego. His kids are expansions of himself and so he expects them to act out whenever something’s bothering them, no matter how ‘small’ it can be. Yet, he berates them when their reactions get out of control. That makes the Afton kids extremely sensitive, with a short temper and bossy behavior.

Has a very specific deprivation and excess of love system to keep his children at line. William treats them equally bad until one of them does something he judges worthy of his attention, and so, begins showering said child with love, attention and admiration, ultimately making the other two jealous. Said act can make all three fight with each other, but they are unaware/used to that system and William relishes on that fact.

He didn’t mourn Evan’s death the same way a normal parent would. I think his death was a catalyst for him to excuse his behavior, and then have a reason to take out his anger and other frustrations (some that didn’t come with the loss of a child) in others, most of his targets obviously being his family, Henry and coworkers.

Finds out about possession after he spots different behavior in the Marionette, relating it to Charlie’s death. He tries to recreate her possession in the other animatronics with the MCI children right after. It doesn’t work, and so William catalogues there are different kinds of possession.

His separation with his wife begins because the police has their eyes on him. Since William doesn’t want to lose his things, he tries everything in his power to not lose them in the divorce. In this process, he promises Elizabeth a present if she’s willing to help him out (which is to witness against Clarice in court) and he ends up winning her and Michael’s custody. As he wins, William begins the construction of the Funtimes; at first with no kidnapping intentions but that idea grows as he sees potential in experimenting and possibly recreating Charlie’s possession of the Marionette.

Manipulates Michael to gather remnant in fnaf2’s location for him but he fails, and is almost charged for damage of property and identity theft as Fritz Smith. Years later, long considered dead, William contacts Michael once and tells him to go to SL’s bunker.

What makes him possess Springbonnie is because his death was inside the suit. That method makes the soul become more aware and less controle by the AI. The same way happened to Cassidy and Charlie, who died right into their respective robots, but not with the MCI, who were already dead by the time their bodies were put into the suits. His death wasn’t planned though—it was a frenzy act he did in an attempt to scare the ghosts away

After fnaf3’s fire, Springtrap manages to escape with dangerous damages, and so he needed to find other parts to reconstruct himself. Those parts come from an old, equally damaged golde Freddy suit, that he merged and so brought Cassidy back (I saw a theory a long time ago about this, I’ll try to find it! Will edit later). How Michael found out about him was because they were rumors around this rotting creature wandering and attacking people in the town.

William dies in UCN’s torment, but Glitchtrap is not actually William Afton but rather a representation of him, who shares the same principles, morality and behavior

Michael Afton

I don’t draw that often but he has central heterocromia! The centre of both of his blue eyes is brown.

Broke his arm once because he was trying to do skate tricks. Never touched his skateboard ever again

The masked bullies were his only friends :( Jeremy is the one he kept more contact with, but after the death of Cassidy (his sister), Jeremy took out his anger on Michael and they had a big fight about it. They didn’t see each other ever since (and Jeremy doesn’t know Michael is Fritz Smith).

Was very close to his mother, and he felt bad for her.

Had a tendency to be a reclusive child, and that was aggravated after everyone’s death. It didn’t help that after everything William began homeschooling him once they moved out, basically locking Michael inside his house.

Michael feels bad for the death of Elizabeth as if it was his fault. It wasn’t, because he wasn’t even together with her during the opening

Michael likes Henry but thinks he can be a tryhard. As an adult, he resents Henry for never helping him or his siblings as he knew about William’s behavior, but then feels guilty because he knows Henry had his own issues and William was his only friend.

Kinda wishes he listened to his gut feeling that told him his father was bad. He was too alienated to ever confront him though

Was a mechanic engineer but didn’t want to act out in that area. After his death, he becomes a paranormal investigator and constructs his equipment

Helpy was made by Henry as one of ffps’s mascots but Michael made it sentient because he thought it was funny

Michael listens to Gregory ramble about fnaf for hours on end just to then tell him he believes in DreamTheory (he knows it gets Gregory angry)

Is the middle child. She is a very energetic and bossy girl, but in her home she is eerily quiet

William and most of the adults don’t tend to take her seriously

If she grew to be an adult, she would’ve become goth and work as a tattoo artist

Loves rollerblading! Was beginning to learn how to use them before the opening of CBPW

Has a lot of freckles in her skin

Is very reckless with her toys. Like, they give her cuteness aggression

Definitely had a dollhouse and forced the other boys to play tea party with her (Evan liked more)

Has a really sweet-tooth

Hair is always long and silky. Wanted to bleach it redder to resemble Circus Baby

Gets along better with Michael than with Evan. After the bite, she was scared of him, but upon seeing Charlie’s death and the other kids missing she grew afraid of being the next one, so she tries to trust Michael again

After dying to Circus Baby, her soul was blended with the AI. Being ejected from Ennard and reconstructing herself as ScrapBaby manage to give her more will to overpower the AI, and while it’s the soul of a little girl, it is corrupted by murderer robot tendencies.

Evan Afton

Full name is Christopher Evan Afton, but he hates being referred as Chris or any variants (and I personally like to pronounce Evan as ee-van, as if it where the Pokémon JEHEIW)

Youngest child. Would have grown to be tallest of the three during his teen years

Also loves stuff related to airplanes and spaceships

She is Mrs. Afton! She met William during his sessions in physiotherapy after having a mild accident with a springlock suit when it was in prototype

He lost contact with Michael up until ffps, where they would send each other emails unt they managed to team up and execute ffps’ plan.

I kinda make him a morally grey character. Like he is a better father and person than William, but he is flawed as well. Corrupted by his grief and seeking revenge, Henry fails to see that William was the one responsible for everything and how he treated Michael.

He grew pretty much apathetic to Michael’s situation, thinking he would willingly advocate for his father.

Charlie Emily

Charlie is a twin, but her twin brother Sammy died during birth along with their mother. Because of birth complications, Charlie has a very frail health, which can make Henry feel paranoid about any disease she contracts.

Thinks giving presents is the best way to showcase love. She loves to handcraft bracelets, collars and tiaras. She is also learning how to sew and crochet

Would help Henry with character designs

Her birthday is on Halloween day

After Susie, Charlie is the youngest dead child, yet she gained more maturity than most of the others

Esme LOVES animals and owns quite a number of them lol. In the main series, there's two dogs (a German Shepherd named Macaroni and an Australian Shepherd named Saju), a handful of hamsters and guinea pigs, a hedgehog, some rabbits, a few goats, three pot bellied pigs, several goats, and a number of chickens.

Esme is very relaxed and casual when it comes to her wardrobe. Jean shorts, yoga shorts/pants, sweats, leggings, tanks and t-shirts (she loves to wear Tyler's shirts, though), and quite a number of cotton sundresses. But she does have some 'fancy' clothes; designer pantsuits and formal dresses (and some expensive bling to go with them). She also owns a lot of Uggs and Crocs lol

Other than English, Esme speaks French, Spanish, Russian, Italian, Pashto, Dari, and some Czech (from her time living in Prague)

Esme is extremely self conscious about her looks (especially since having so many kids), and can be irrationally jealous (the thirsty bitches for example) and a tad neurotic (okay, maybe more than a tad lol)

Esme is stoic, even if she's falling apart inside. The only death she's been through (although Tyler's come close), and that was when she was seventeen and her father passed away. But even then she felt she needed to be strong and resilient for those around her.

Esme knows her fair share of swear words lol. But for the most part she's vibrant and bubbly when she speaks, often giving people the impression that she's childish or 'ditzy'. In reality, she's extremely intelligent and well read AND spoken. And that comes out to play quite often.

She does enjoy the arts. Reading, writing (journaling), and creating (knitting and crocheting). But she also enjoys theatre, concerts (of all genres), and spent a lot of time in NYC and Prague touring museums and galleries

He wants to fix Ragatha by getting rid of whatever this parasite is, but she immediately thinks it might be a baby since she always wanted to have one. It sounds ridiculous until the ringmaster actually confirms it. Everyone is shocked, especially Jax, who doesn't know what to do. Meanwhile, Ragatha is overjoyed and can't wait to meet their little bundle of joy

And here's the big arrival of the twins

Although the pregnancy goes smoothly, Jax quickly notices that Ragatha eats and vomits more than a regular pregnant woman. She doesn't seem to mind, thinking it's just because they're in a digital world where everything is different from the real one. Soon the rabbit and the rest of the circus members notice that Ragatha is also gaining more weight than she should, but she doesn't even seem to notice. Jax is very worried that something is wrong and often wants to argue with Caine. Apart from that, everyone is very supportive and helps Jax take care of Ragatha until she gives birth…

...to twins. In their first moments of life, the two babies are tiny blue rag bunnies with a bit of soft purple hair on their heads. As soon as Jax sees his sons, something inside him changes. He finally has what he never knew he longed for: a family with the woman he loves

But who said raising Jax's kids would be easy?

Owyn and Ethan are little copies of their dad. Always fooling around, throwing food and toys at everyone just to see if they get mad (they don't because the kids are too cute), and becoming literal angels whenever their mom is around. This changes over the years, and after they turn 3, they begin to develop their own personalities. Owyn becomes calmer and more attached to Ragatha. He gets on well with grandpa Kinger, and soon he knows almost every type of insect in the whole wide world. Meanwhile, Ethan remains the same, still causing trouble. Jax teaches him how to play pranks on Pomni and Zooble and that's why they are Ethan's main victims. The twins are still inseparable though and enjoy doing many things together, even though they have very different hobbies

With Caine changing reproduction from a glitch to a real thing possible in the circus, Jax and Ragatha decide to have another baby

No one can really say who had the idea first. Ragatha says it was her because she always wanted to have at least three children. Meanwhile, Jax smugly says it's him because he just thinks his rag dolly gets extremely cute when she's pregnant (she smacks him on the head afterwards lol)

Because Owyn and Ethan are small kiddos, they don't understand the concept of pregnancy. One day, Ragatha takes them for a walk around the tent and explains that there's a baby growing inside mommy's belly, and soon they'll have a younger sibling. The twins are excited and eager to meet their new brother or sister. It's fascinating how attached they are to the baby, even before it's born, and Jax often finds them sleeping in the most adorable way: resting their heads on Ragatha's belly and feeling their sibling's movements. On the other hand, Jax gets jealous of his own sons when they spend too much time with their mom. Some time later, Pomni bangs on the door of their room, her whole jester self covered in paint and mud because Jax has ordered the twins to go play with their auntie Pomni instead of bothering Ragatha, who needs a lot of rest these days. And by rest, he meant kissing, cuddling, and having her all to himself 24/7

Unfortunately, a defect in the code causes complications

It's not even the end of the pregnancy when Ragatha suddenly starts to feel worse. She throws up again, has trouble getting out of bed, refuses to eat, and suddenly becomes depressed. Jax tries everything to make her feel better, but nothing works. Meanwhile, the twins are only allowed to see their mother when she seems to be at her best, which is rarely. Jax becomes more and more frightened, his anger intensifies and he yells at everyone for nothing. His friends try to calm him down by telling him that Ragatha and the baby will be fine, but it only makes things worse. Caine also doesn't know what to do anymore, he sits in his office all the time trying to find some defect in the code

All of this leads to little Arabella being born prematurely. She's a rag bunny just like her older brothers, but she's much smaller and missing an eye, which means she'll need more attention. That doesn't change the fact that Ragatha loves her baby Ellie so much and makes her a button eye that resembles her own. Unfortunately, Jax isn't the most optimistic about this and distances himself from his daughter, spending more time with Owyn and Ethan and leaving the baby more in Ragatha's care. He tells himself it's because Ellie is different from her brothers and will be a burden from now on. The truth is that Jax is just afraid of failing to raise and protect her as he is still not the best father material. It takes him some time to even hold Ellie for the first time, and when he does, they form a special bond. Jax is surprised when the little girl turns out to be no trouble and recognizes him as her daddy and wants to play with him

How does the relationship between the kids actually look like?

It's messy. As Ellie grows up, Ethan finally has a new victim for his pranks and at one point even bullies his younger sister. This doesn't last long, though, as Ragatha scolds Ethan for it and he quickly promises to be mama's good boy. Ellie spends more time with Owyn, reading books and playing together. Though they can fight a lot, they don't want to be separated for long, and during adventures, Owyn and Ethan keep an eye on Ellie, who tends to get lost a lot (once, as a toddler, she almost gave Jax and Ragatha a heart attack when they heard her scream, but it turned out she was also giggling because she was also being chased by some dog)

What the other circus members think of Bunnydoll family?

Pomni has been named the children's auntie and becomes their official babysitter whenever Jax and Ragatha are not around. At first she thinks the twins are cute, until they grow up a bit and start causing trouble. There are moments when she thinks they're even worse than Jax, but that doesn't change the fact that she loves them and sometimes (when she doesn't want to throw Ethan into the Digital Lake) treats them as her own children

Gangle is Ellie's favorite, and they often have tea parties and fashion shows. Ellie is also the one who designs a new set of comedy masks for the ribbon girl, which makes her tear up a lot. Gangle also plays the role of the kids' second auntie and babysitter, plus she's the one who teaches Owyn how to read, making it his favorite hobby

Zooble doesn't want to deal with Jax's kids, at one point they even manage to tie Ethan to a tree when he isn't looking as punishment after he did the same thing to them some time ago. Ragatha has to calm Jax down when he finds out about this and tries to convince him to talk to Zooble instead of throwing his hands at them. As for Owyn and Ellie, they has nothing against them as long as they don't act like Ethan. Actually, Zooble likes to participate in Ellie's fashion shows, but they won't admit it

Kinger is their proud grandpa. He teaches Owyn about insects, gives Ethan candy (which is why the boy never plays tricks on him), and builds forts with Ellie. At first, Jax thought Kinger would be irresponsible with them, but to his surprise, the chess piece is very careful and his grandchildren's safety is now his priority. He often says he doesn't have a favorite and loves them all equally, but it's clear he's leaning more toward Owyn

Last but not least, the circus ringmaster Caine proclaimed himself the children's godfather and often arranges special adventures for them. He doesn't mind their sometimes chaotic behavior, but he strictly forbids them from going to certain places. The only one who is allowed to see him working is Ellie, as she seems to be fascinated by how the digital world works, and since she was affected by the defect in the code, Caine does some tests on her from time to time to make sure she's completely healthy now

Oh and there's Bubble, but he has a restraining order against all three of them…

Family time!

The kids sleep with their parents until they are old enough to have their own rooms. As twins, Owyn and Ethan are forced to share a bedroom, and both are jealous that Ellie has her own all to herself.

Ragatha is the best mom in the digital world. She does everything she can to make sure all of her kids have fun. She sings them lullabies, fixes their toys, makes them new clothes, and sometimes even lets them sleep with her and Jax when they have a nightmare. If anything happens to any of them, Ragatha will go into her protective mama bear mode and is even capable of beating up any NPC that tries to hurt them

Jax is the cool dad who lets his sons do whatever they want as long as they don't get into serious trouble. With Ellie, he is extra protective, and sometimes he doesn't like the pranks Ethan pulls on her. Still, he enjoys taking them on more dangerous adventures, even though Ragatha forbids him, and it usually ends with a few bruises and smiles on the kids' faces

The couple doesn't have much time to themselves now, so whenever they get the chance, they sneak out to go on a date, watch some movies, and just rest together, knowing their children are in good hands

At one point Ragatha jokes that maybe they should try for one or two more babies, but even though Jax finds the idea quite appealing, he's still worried about Ragatha's well-being, remembering what her last pregnancy was like. However, Owyn, Ethan and Ellie probably won't wait long for their parents to announce they're having a baby...

One day I was bored and went to character.ai to have some fun with the Bunnydoll bot. I made a story where they had 7 kids, while Owyn, Ethan and Ellie were supposed to be the next triplets, which meant they had 10 kids in total lol

Amy would absolutely love collecting MLP. Has a huge collection, many gens but I feel like she would be a big g3 fan. Lots of cute pink or pastel colored ponies. Also many extremely rare ponies. She likes them all to be perfect mint condition and will restore them if they are anything less than perfect.

Sonic and the boys probably aren't too interested, but if they watched the cartoon Sonic would like Rainbow Dash. Obviously.

Shadow is also not interested in collecting them himself but when Amy shows him her collection he's like "...Cool."

Cream the rabbit has a collection of lovely old g1 ponies passed down to her from her mama Vanilla. Lovely ladies like Peachy, Posey, ect. Not mint condition because they're old but well taken care of and loved.

I think it would be incredibly funny if Vector the crocodile picked up a few of them as toys for Charmy at a very very cheap second hand store (doesn't like spending money, but like. His kid Charmy is 6 so he needs at least some toys. So goodwill bins it is-) And Charmy's ponies are all in horrific condition because he plays like a little terror. Cuts their hair and accidentally stains them while playing and they never get cleaned. His favorite is Bumblesweet.

Espio sees Amy's collection and is like "Oh we (Charmy) have some of those too" and then when she comes over she is Absolutely Fuckin Horrified by Charmy's cut hair, filthy, rusty messy little horses LOL. Smiling through gritted teeth as Charmy excitedly shows her.

Rosamund has many nicknames within her family as a result of having the longest name amongst her sisters, ones like "Rosey, Rosa, Sammy, and primarily Minnie" based off her name itself, but is equally called a variety of petnames such as "Gremlin, Bunny, Goblin, Kitten, Pest, Brat, and Lion Cub/Cub" all being used by some combination of her family members due to her combined high-spirited, some would claim chaotic nature, and being the youngest girl and second youngest overall of her family. Though "kitten" has come from Lady Cerelle's fondness for keeping cats herself, and "bunny" in turn has arose since Minnie took to keeping rabbits with equal enthusiasm; she currently has four, named Foxglove, Strawberry, Acorn, and Tulip, and while she's not generally known for a nurturing nature, Minnie loves animals of all kinds, gentler with them than any other living creatures, also keeping a pair of extremely well loved Ferrets (Pip and Squeak) and an equally well cared for pair of canaries (Itsy and Bitsy) as well.

Minnie's dynamics with her siblings is extremely variable between them, Cerelle and Tyshara are both in some ways nearly and in other ways more maternal figures in her life than their own Lady-Mother; Cerelle, however, is more of a caring and nurturing presence whereas Tyshara's own fiery personality leads her to be both more of a "fun" influence and to take on more of an authoritarian when required, though they both encourage and reprimand certain habits of hers in equal measure. She admires Cerenna the most and in some ways idolizes her but in practice this often means they have a much more touch and go relationship depending on when Minnie finds Cerenna admirable and when Cerenna wants Minnie to view her behavior as such. Leila and Minnie are basically the same personality with the exact opposite manifestations which means they agree and think the same the vast majority of the time and yet drive each other crazy, because that small mismatched portion leads them to argue very frequently. Basic info:

Name- William Vincent Afton (I do this fun thing where the characters fan-made names are their middle name)

Birth: February 21, 1948

I’m not going to go in depth in his life, maybe another day, but basically

He lived in Manchester, England as an only child. His father, Thomas, was neglectful and emotionally abusive while his mother, Maria, was much kinder. His mother ends up dying when his 14 from pneumonia, causing him and his father to basically not interact unless necessary. In 1966 he left England to live in Utah and got easily got into Dixie Technical College (I think it might’ve been changed to Utah Tech in like… 2022 but I’m not sure) due to his intelligence. He meets Henry in college, they make Fredbear’s Family Diner in 1972. William marries Clare in 1968 due to getting her pregnant at a college party (they both despise each other). Micheal’s born in 1969, Evan’s born in 1976, and Elizabeth’s born in 1979. They end up getting divorced in 1978. Clare runs off to some state to try and actually enjoy her life, leaving William as a single father to three kids.

He learned to be charming at a young age to gain attention and respect from teachers and adults. He can be extremely impulsive. He ends up becoming a bit childish in his adult life due to not really ever being able to be a kid, but mostly tries to just play it into his fun and over the top entertainer role. Despite usually being outgoing and talkative, he isn’t the biggest fan of having to interact with people, entertaining them is fun but actually talking to them is just draining. I like to think he’s weirdly flexible and fast, mostly because I want him to be Henry’s opposite; while Henry is big, strong, gruff, and scary in the “wow he could beat me up easily” way, William is lean, quick, nimble, and scary in a “wow he could easily sneak up on me and stab me” way. He has a chewing habit, he’ll chew on just about anything he’s holding, which is the biggest reason he and Henry have separate tools. This also leads to his lip biting habit; his lips aren’t dry, just scabbed. Henry was the first person to like… actually give him love, that wasn’t just “aw cute charming child”. William was (and is) extremely gay for Henry, and it took him a couple minutes for him to come to terms with that once he actually realized it. Ruin isn't that great from a gameplay perspective.

I do like that Steel Wool took a lot of criticism to heart and they improved Ruin in the Story department way more comparitively to the base game ten fold.

Like imagine having a Rabbit antagonist show up more than twice and is a constant presence throughout the game???? Imagine a protagonist with actual motivation and backstory to why they are there with relatable emotions?

I'm sure Vanny is sure jealous of MXES right about now. (Gregory to Cassie too probably and that's how the game ended how it did but that's another post)

But here's the thing that really soured me on Ruin. Especially on repeat playthroughs, and it was something I was easily discovering as I played through the first time.

There's really no creditable danger in the majority of Ruin.

The atmosphere is darker, and it is spookier.... But it is all literally in your head. The danger and horror is all an illusion.

Mr.Glitchy Malhare man can't harm you directly. He can only summon animatronics after you, or send an animatronic to kill you automatically if you stay too long in AR. Which you tend to recognize the sound ques and can easily get out of situations if you're trapped in AR.

The thing about MXES summoning animatronics to you....

All the animatronics AI from the Base game has been severely nerfed.

Monty can no longer jump and you can out walk him fairly easily. YEAH. WALK. I had never had to run from Monty. He'll despawn if he loses sight of you.

Roxy and Chica behave in a similar functional way.

Chica is faster, and gets distracted less easily if you have her chasing you. And her tight corridors prevent her from despawning but she can easily be out walked.

Sun and Moon won't even chase you and have to go out of the way to see the jumpscare.

You can become invisible to the endos.

And you don't need to run into Roxy as an enemy if you don't want and just use the very obvious intended camera speaker mechanic.

All the animatronics move slower than your base walking speed so I never found them that credible a threat and tended to get bored by them.

The tedium of the puzzles didn't help ease that boredom that much.

The only times of this game that felt genuinely horrifying to play were the Bonnie bowl section and the Freddy chase.

Freddy moves faster than your base running speed and he WILL get you a few times if you don't know what you're doing. It was one of the most horrifying experiences in the game for me.

I know horror is subjective. But once I learned quick that MXES couldn't hurt me, and all the animatronics AI was dumbed down to extremely basic.... I found everything an annoyance rather then a threat.

Not only that, Cassie mechanically is not fun to play. (CHARACTER WISE I LOVE HER but for another post)

She runs slower then Gregory and jumping around and running just isn't as fun. I suppose it makes sense. Gregory is dodgy cus he lives on the streets. Cassie just came home from eating carrot cake.

I have replayed the base Security Breach over five times because it's so fun to play. And yes. I typically play the game straight without many crazy glitches.

Ruin, I have only played twice and I got sick of it. The animatronics aren't fun to run from if they all function the same.

I did like it when MXES was approaching as I was solving puzzles. It lead to some genuinely tense moments.

Steel Wool is so close to making the perfect FNAF game.

I REALLY think that the animatronics needed some more AI tweaking or just copy how their shattered AI worked in base game.

I'm kinda glad that the game wasn't TOO hard. But it lead to a lot of situations where I was just casually walking away from the animatronics and it wore off it's novelty in repeat playthroughs.

Meanwhile I can play Security Breach for weeks and never get bored.

Reminder, this is just my opinion, and I'm just talking about the game mechanically.

Story wise, it's definitely an improvement and I did enjoy it alot and I will talk more in depth on that later

Jacob Durazzo

This serves as an extension of the info post dedicated to Alessandro and Liza Durazzo, focusing more on their eldest son, Jacob Durazzo. A Ravenclaw wizard turned curse breaker with a love for books and travel who is the son of a squib and a muggle.

Jacob Durazzo was born to Alessandro Durazzo and Elizabeth ‘Liza’ Clenovitch on January 10th, 1963 and was their first born child. As Alessandro and Liza were a squib and a muggle respectively, they expected to have normal children who weren’t magical like Alessandro’s side of the family. However, as Jacob grew up, he started exhibiting signs of magic that Alessandro, and other relatives of his, confirmed were legit and meant he was a wizard. These signs usually consisted of the books around his mother’s bookshop flying around or him floating up to the top of the bookshelf when he wanted to do a prank or protect his frying pan from being confiscated by Alessandro.

Jacob’s maternal aunt, Daryna Clenovich, was often amused by Jacob’s pranks and shared a close bond with her nephew, often playing with him or watching him for Liza and Alessandro occasionally. As a young child, Jacob called her Auntie Dara as he had trouble saying her full name. He was also willing to listen to history, a subject he’d normally despised, as long as she was talking about it, believing she was much better than his history teacher at Hogwarts who made everyone fall asleep. Daryna was fascinated by Jacob’s magical ability and enjoyed hearing about his pranks he used his magic to pull off

As a baby, Jacob was also very attached to his maternal grandmother, Margaret Wotton. Baby Jacob resembled Margaret as he inherited black curls and bright blue eyes. Even though she wasn’t fond of Alessandro, whom she believed was trying to take her Liza away from her and was a bad influence, Margaret also adored her young grandson. She even once gave Jacob a toy frying pan which freaked his father out whenever little Jacob would proudly show it to him as Margaret, and her father, often threatened him with a frying pan back when he was dating Liza. However, Margaret was diagnosed with cancer later in life and the disease eventually claimed her life when Jacob was two years old in 1965.

Little Jacob was very attached to his mother as well who would read him bedtime stories and teach him how to help around the bookshop (although Jacob enjoyed causing trouble more than helping which Daryna always teased her sister about every time she found out). As Alessandro was often busy with his trips for work, Liza was the main parent in his life, although Alessandro would teach Jacob how to play piano, Italian, and would also gift him, and later his siblings, with souvenirs from the places he traveled to. Inspired by his aunt’s own collection in her flat, Jacob decided that he also wanted a job where he could travel the world to get his own souvenirs

Jacob always wanted a younger sibling and got his wish in 1969 when his younger brother, Mateo Durazzo, was born. Unlike him, Mateo was not magical and far from as chaotic as he was. In fact, he was attached to Liza and extremely helpful in their mother’s bookshop. Jacob didn’t mind it all too much since he didn’t feel as pressured with inheriting the bookshop with someone like Mateo around. At around this time is when Jacob first got his pet Lizard whom he named Scalington whom Jacob often used to playfully prank his brother. Mateo started to grow jealous and asked Liza if he could have a pet and she agreed, taking him to a pet shop where he got a rabbit who he named Bob (which was his uncle’s suggestion) and would often perform his own magic and card tricks which Jacob never understood how to do himself despite having actual magic

Before going to Hogwarts, Jacob had a partner in crime when it came to his pranks in the form of Adeline Raleigh, a family friend as the daughter of his father’s close friend, Richard Raleigh. She was also fond of chaos however they did disagree about books as Jacob enjoyed them greatly while Adeline always preferred movies. She would often visit the Durazzos with her parents and two younger siblings, Agatha and Andrew, who mainly spent their time in the bookshop while Jacob and Adeline pulled their various pranks. Alessandro and Richard (Adeline’s Father) also thought they’d make a good couple when they were older but this idea was scrapped as both moved in different directions with their careers.

Jacob was also the first Durazzo to attend Hogwarts and was excited to attend a place where none of his family members had gone before (although this was before he realized his mother had distant magical relatives who also went to Hogwarts). He also got sorted into Ravenclaw and befriended his Ravenclaw housemate, Zym Mufaro, who taught him about various forms of divination. He also befriended other peers such as Ebrill Beddoe, Phoebe Larkin, and Olsen Haugen. Going to Hogwarts didn’t cause Jacob to stop trying to get into trouble as he would often sneak into the restricted section of the library to read books on ancient and forgotten magic.

When he was thirteen in 1976, Jacob received a letter informing him that his mother had recently given birth to his little sister, Nerissa Margaret Durazzo, whom he met during his first visit back home. At the same time, Jacob attempted to try out for the Ravenclaw Quidditch team but crashed in an embarrassing and extravagant fashion and ended up in the hospital wing for a few days. While he didn’t make the team, many of Jacob’s peers such as Phoebe Larkin (Hufflepuff’s seeker) and Ember Brathwaite (Gryffindor’s chaser) were skilled flyers and quidditch players who Jacob would cheer for when their team’s played at the quidditch pitch.

While Jacob got into trouble and detention plenty of times, along with his friend who helped him with his chaos, Olsen Haugen who he would go on to work with in the field of curse breaking. In Ravenclaw he was seen as a person who could always cheer someone up with his goofy antics (even Dorothea a Ravenclaw in his year who never seemed to smile). He also met Jackie Midway who was a few years younger than him and also interested in curse breaking. As a seventh year, Jacob would joke around with his friends that the fourth year Jackie Midway was inspired by him.

After Hogwarts, Jacob perused a career full of adventure in the form of becoming a professional curse breaker. Despite him not seeming all that serious, Jacob quickly rose through the ranks and became a powerful curse breaker who was tasked with many different jobs all around the world. Since he was traveling so much, he also learned more about different cultures and their languages, even learning to speak some of the somewhat fluently depending on how long he was in a particular country. He often enjoyed missions where he was stationed in Italy as it gave him time to visit his relatives in Genoa, particularly his uncle Gregorio, who he was extremely close with as both were wild spirits. He also met Melody Midway during his journey as a curse breaker, and Orion wasn’t particularly pleased with him, always believing he was flirting with her.

When he was twenty five, his aunt Daryna asked him if he could serve as Roman’s guide to the wizarding world after it was discovered he was magical. Jacob happily accepted the favor and managed to get his curse breaking jobs for at least the next year to all be based somewhere in the United Kingdom and Ireland in order to provide him with more flexibility to help Roman if needed. He was also the one who helped him get his supplies in Diagon Alley. During a trip to Ollivanders, Garrick helped with finding a wand for Roman while Jacob caught up with his friend from school, Phoebe, who was there visiting her grandfather. It was during this encounter that it was discovered that Roman possessed the unique gift for wand making.

Roman was curious about this, especially when he learned that wand making was typically a genetic skill, and Jacob was determined to give his little cousin an answer. He initially assumed that Roman must have somehow gotten the talent from his biological father somehow since Jacob assumed his magic solely came from his paternal family and not his maternal family (which was where the connection between Roman and him could be found). Phoebe confirmed

there was a very little chance that Roman got the wand making talent from a relation to the Ollivanders but didn’t throw it out completely. However, through examining other wand making families, she did find one possibility of a more distant connection, the Wottons, who, despite having ended their wand making, still had one member of the family still alive

This interested Jacob as he remembered his grandmother’s name was Margaret Wotton. As such, he took Roman with him to visit their grandfather, Boris, to see if he could tell them any additional information, with Boris revealing that he did know that Margaret’s father was a squib named Erasmus Wotton. With this information, he and Phoebe (Roman was at school at the time) went to Wotton Manor and talked with its mistress Georgiana Wotton. Jacob told her everything and about his great grandfather to where she revealed that Erasmus was her brother. After hearing that Roman had a wand making talent, she invited not only him to visit Wotton Manor, but the rest of Jacob’s family as well.

In 1990, Jacob had learned from the daily prophet about the death of Defense Against the Dark Arts Professor, Cynthia Midway. Shortly after, he spotted Jackie Midway in Nottingham and invited him to the bookshop and his family’s home for dinner. Jackie expressed how he was having trouble with figuring out his future, especially for what would happen after R was defeated. Jacob offered to help Jackie get a curse breaking job, using his connections in Italy, however Jackie denied in that moment to be there for his sister, but eventually took Jacob up on his offer.

Jacob would also go on to mentor Jackie’s little sister, Melody Midway, as she pursued professional curse breaking, even though Melody had plenty of experience due to dealing with the cursed vaults. Jacob himself claimed that Melody hardly needed a mentor but was happy to find a friend in her like he had with Jackie. They went on curse breaking missions together, including one to Japan.

In 2001, Jacob rushed to St Mungos upon learning that Melody had been sent there after a near death experience in curse breaking that claimed the life of her colleague. During this visit, Jacob witnessed Melody hearing the voices that came from her curse. Melody was quite surprised when Jacob revealed he had seen something like it before in the form of his own classmate Ebrill Beddoe, and insisted that he take Melody to see her when she was able to leave St Mungos.

As he got older, Jacob decided to move all of his jobs to be closer to home, while still taking occasional trips abroad. Liza became a bit more satisfied with this, but was still worried since her eldest son showed no signs of settling down any time soon. While he dated a few people before, such as Alicia Green and Phoebe Larkin, none of his relationships tended to last more than a couple of years. However, she received a delightful surprise when he started dating and eventually marrying Angelica Cole. Jacob would have four kids with her named Sandy, Cereus, Dominic, and Remy, who were all magical like their parents, and, with the exception of Dominic, all members the eagle house.

Personality: Quiet, distant still. So used to being alone that when they’re with friends they’re still quiet. Determined to get over that. They become jealous of people who have personalities unlike theirs easily—confident, exuberant, extroverted people specifically. So much so they get intrusive thoughts of hurting said people, though they never act on them. They have a bad habit of assuming things about strangers due to their black-and-white thinking. They get nervous easily when talking to others. Usually, they try not to say anything that would count as personal information, just in case whoever he’s talking to turns out to not be real.

Backstory: Didn’t have the best home life. Because of his quiet and distant nature, many kids stayed away from them. His constant solitude made them learn the hard way to stick with themself. They developed MADD because of these events. School wasn’t anything too terrible, barely got picked on because nobody even wanted to get to know him. In high school they had their first psychotic break, and had a hard time getting meds. Maybe about a year or so experiencing hallucinations and delusions they finally got medication, and it’s helped moderately. Now that they’re living on their own, they want to regain control of their life, by trying their hardest to get back into reality and get back the years they were lonely and confused. Friends help, and so does literature. Met Wendalyn in the local library, where she works. He liked her for her kindness, and how she didn’t judge him based on his looks or behavior. She was patient, and he would talk to her every time he visited. Met Syd + others through her.
