The Chapter Master.

His name is Gideon. He's the most formidable warrior of the chapter. His strategies and ploys have won him battles uncounted. His kindness, temperament and charisma earned him the name Sialunnguaq.

His presence is like the summer rain. He's the storm that grinds down the mountains.

He is Gideon "Sialunnguaq" Rosing, The Lord of the Summer Rains and Chapter Master of the Abyssal Seals.

So I went and kitbashed a new chapter master to replace the one I had. I wanted him to look real dynamic like he's bounding towards the enemy. Got super excited about him while I was making him. Was listening to "The Smell of the Game" from Guilty Gear Strive on repeat the entire time I was building and painting him, so now that's the theme of the chapter.

As for his name, I gave him one of my grandpa's 4 middle names and the title/moniker Sialunnguaq which can roughly be translated to sweet rain(sialuk means rain, the suffix -nnguaq means small/little but in names can be translated as dear/sweet/cute). Also the surname Rosing because I like that one and it's one of the many germanic surnames(Rosing/Motzfeldt/Kreutzman/etc.) that float around in Greenland.

Headcanons for which the source is I made it the fuck up

-Bruce Wayne is a stupid Himbo. Like he is a genius detective and engineer and hacker etc. But this man is dumb. When the cowl is off no thoughts head empty.

-Dick Grayson is also borderline brain dead. Like again yes genius detective, polyglot, icon, etc. But this man is running on a 2+2=fish operating system. He is a useless pansexual be patient with himmmmmm.

-Tim and Damian are lowkey spoiled brats. Like not in a bad way. I say it with love. But these two are the living embodiment of that Arrested Development meme about the price of a banana. They have no idea how money works.

-Dick and Jason had braces.

-Dick legit has never noticed he has a thing for red heads. He looks at Wally/kory and is just pretty red people make brain go brrrrrrrrrrrrr.

-Damian likes to be an annoying vegetarian at galas. He makes up dietary restrictions cause he knows these rich old farts will never research them.

Raven Lair Treasure

Rescued from storage exile, I present my boxes full of shiney treasures to make your corvid/goblin/gremlin/dragon brain go brrrrrrrrrrrrr...

Well the blue Sun&Moon box is empty, but the box itself is a treasure, and will be filled with shines soon...

The light brown roundish box contains a bunch of treasures that usually reside in a space dedicated to faeries. Some of the treasures will find their way into the Sun&Moon box.

The cigar box with decorative elements is a creation I made for a Steampunk event I participated in; the event was also the inspiration for a character creation andnthe name Korva.

My group created a steampunk themed natural history curio tent, and I also created the character Dr. Korva Tempus; a time traveling, dimention shifting naturalist.

I imagined Dr. Korva Tempus as a cross between naturalist Charles Darwin (but like a badass Chuck D) and Alice from Alice in Wonderland; with some Wizard of Oz vibes thrown in the mix. Steampunk was the first aesthetic I fell into, but I feel like my inner corvid was peeking out through when creating and collecting things for Dr. Tempus.

This piece is ment to be a time traveler's watch/compass, given to Korva by the Queen of Hearts.

I made several pieces that acessorized my LARP as Korva, and had variety of items that worked as props for Korva's character. I attended the Handcar Regatta event 3 years in a row. It was wonderful. But I think what O got most out of it was the chance to make altered art. I still love steampunk, and cyberpunk for that matter, but my home is amongst the creatures ans cryptids.

And last, but not least, the black wooden trunk. My adventure trunk. My treasure trunk. My pride and joy...lol. But seriously, this trunk holds many of my best curios and adventure artifacts. And I promise to make a proper post about the contents of my black trunk.
