While he was not in school for long in the Bronx, during the times he was he was noted for being too silent and too tall for his age and was often regarded as being socially inept. With certain scenarios, Jigen has no problems with just taking temporary leadership over the gang or any other group for that matter if he ultimately has too. But all in all, he’s more of a follower than a leader who refuses to rule over something for a long period of time. Despite being a follower however, he’s not afraid to speak his mind when he feels situations are getting out of hand and will outrightly question certain decisions, not out of stark disobedience, but simply out of concern.

He is the only one out of everyone lupin knows, who knows the truth about The First, and has kept the secret of his whereabouts and identity a secret for Lupin’s sake, even from the others.

While he wasn’t much of a “big time reader” growing up, his favorite book set was actually the “Arsène Lupin” books by Maurice Leblanc. This eventually lead to him being a big Arséne the first fan during his youth. Imagine his surprise when he met the Firsts actual Grandson

While he does not shy from starting loud firefights in public places, he will actively try to ignore civilians or politely tell them to flee in order to minimize innocent casualties and focus more on the target(s).

Does not handle stress well at all. Often disregarding or pushing away his feelings, he has come to develop a plethora of unhealthy coping mechanisms over the years, mainly of the alcoholic variety. Out of all of them, his most normal and healthy is when he goes down to the shooting range/open field away from civilization for hours and where he can unload magazine after magazine until his hands are numb and his ears are ringing.

Jigen and Lupin only call each other Daisuke or Arsène interchangeably when situations are dire, the pair have on a “first name” basis with each other shortly after they started working together, and if there’s ever a reason for them to use a name outside of that, it’s a clear indicator that something is terribly terribly wrong and they need to get the point across. As a result of this que, Jigen has become so intuned with things truly going sideways IF and only IF  Lupin uses his name “Daisuke”.  Even in the times of faking his death,  Lupin only ever called him “Jigen”, but the moment he calls him “Daisuke” is when Jigen knows shit is real and that Lupin isn’t kidding around about things cause he’s being formal. 

Jigen and Lupin share a matching blood-type while Goemon doesn’t. It has came in handy. Knowing how dangerous and how prone accidents are to happen during jobs, Jigen and Lupin share enough blood between one another that Goemon has taken to calling them “blood-bonded” which isn’t that far off the bat considering how close the two are actually and have been getting over the years. As a side note as Lupin is usually the one taking the brunt end of all the shit that goes on (either by his own fault or someone else’s) it's usually  Jigen who ends up on the giving end. 

Jigen is incredibly head shy- he doesn't like people touching his head/face unless it's absolutely necessary. But it's not just because of the hat, he just uses that as an excuse. It’s mainly because due to him being a gunman he’s extremely protective about his eye’s. Even the permanent loss of one eye can drastically screw with his depth perception and when your entire life is based around looking down the scope of a gun it’s no laughing matter. So far only lupin has been allowed to touch his head intimately or otherwise because he has the most trust in lupin. Because of this large bond of trust, forehead presses or face touching tend to be drastic indicators of how close the pair are to one another, since it seems only Lupin can get away with doing it. If it's not Lupin, expect Jigen to be tending to his own head-wounds by himself.

Renee Lupin (her brother and her are hawaiian/french/japanese) (older twin, uses a magnum most of the time, other times uses brass knuckles) (while both her and her brother were thieves, he was more of an artist about it and she was way more seedier when she went solo. pissed off too many people eventually and had both Interpol and many criminal organizations on her ass. the better shot between the two, she doesn't piss off as many people as she used to now lol)

Lupin IV (weapon of choice is a Walther PPK) (younger twin, won the Lupin name in the end(Renee wanted to claim his name) during a few years of him and his sister being rivals from the ages of 17-24. he saved her life from when she flew too close to the sun and they both became partners after that) (both love the thrill of being a thief, he prides himself in doing things his own way)

Haru Archer (Jamaican/Japanese) (ex-mercenary for hire that was trying to rise up the ranks in the mafia that hired him. his deceased dad was friends with Daisuke Jigen, both used to be some of the top snipers in the business and that carried over to Haru, who is a great sniper and good at hand to hand combat to fend off people that try to flank him. He originally just took this job because he knew he had a skill for shooting and wanted to support his family, but his huge extended family cut off ties with him when they found out he was killing people for a living. Misses his estranged siblings a lot. Joined the Lupin gang after he failed to kill Renee, who his boss had old beef with and tried to kill him for his failure. Renee kept him from getting killed and the two sparked a respect and rivalry for their skills with guns. Joined because of her, becomes Lupin IV's best bro later.)

Ryoichi Ishikawa (Japanese and literally the baby of the kids and the shortest. he's actually not in a life of crime or anything like that in in anyway, he's the youngest brother of Goemon Ishikawa XIV, and is majoring in Japanese History and Mythos, along with minors in world history. He wants to be a professor, and although he doesn't understand the route his brother went, he respects it since it's how their dad was and keeps in touch with his older brother. Sometimes gets dragged into Lupin IV bs and groans about it. Not much of a fighter but knows how to use a gun enough to not get killed.)

Goemon Ishikawa XIV (Japanese as well, older brother of Ryoichi. didn't inherit the zantetsuken, actually earned it in a duel with his father. took many years to achieve, though, his dad whooped his ass a lot LOL. while walking a similar fashioned path as his father, he also tries to understand all the strange choices his whole family has made. half of them were bodyguards for hire, which made sense, but some of them (especially his dad) would take part in stealing from others. he has a bit of a black and white mindset for a while until he meets lupin twins on his path of self discovery, he is set to kill them. he never really respected or understood the legacy or man of lupin iii even tho he only vaguely remembers meeting him twice as a child, so he has about as much less respect for his kids as well. after failing a month of killing him, the people who hired him put a hit on goemon as a lesson for being a 'piss poor hire'. he had been pretty well keeping up with lupin twins, they just happened to get lucky every time in not dying. after a big fight breaks out and he takes down a lot of guys, he still gets his ass kicked to the teeth and lupin iv and renee save him. while he's healing him and lupin iv have a big enlightening talk that i have saved somewhere but i dont wanna write this longer than it is atm lol. it basically ends in him finding a newfound respect for them and ends up joining them a lot, tho he still goes off to do his own thing too)

Sayuri Mine (is this her real name? who knows lol, both her and her sister are cheeky like that) (Japanese, youngest Mine sister and a world infamous jewel thief. She does espionage from time to time with her sister, she's very much like her mother in many ways but also a bit different. For example, she doesn't backstab nearly as much as Fujiko since she's a tad more sentimental though she keeps things interesting and still likes to come out on top of everyone. Easier that way to protect yourself. She had met the Lupin twins briefly here and there as kids but totally forgot about that since she didn't pay it much mind, and ran into them again when Renee and Lupin IV had just started teaming up as adults. She ended up getting way with a famous painting over them since her appearance seemed to throw them off, much to Renee's annoyance. Ever since then she found their partnership intriguing and would get roped into things, Lupin IV enjoying how much of a wild card she could be.)

Kiyomi Mine (japanese, older sister of Sayuri and more of a spy than a thief. She prides herself in her work and wishes to be the best of the best in the espionage business. Same age as the Lupin twins, her and Renee have an interesting rapport even though Yomi always calls her out whenever Renee is bitching at Sayuri. she cannot stand lupin iv most of the time, thinks he has a head up his ass and is going to get her sister hurt. sometimes teams up with the lupin gang (mostly initiated by her little sister dragging her into it), always is dressed in a fashionable suit and is pretty versatile in many weapons.)

Kiyoko Zenigata (Japanese. Might have an older sister, still working on that idea, but she has taken the route of going to interpol in a similar fashion to her father, but she isn't an Interpol agent because of the Lupin twins. She became one after showing explementary work in Japan and was invited to join Interpol. A good chunk of her superiors do respect her and she does have people when she takes over a new Lupin taskforce that respect her, but it wasn't easy. She was originally given the new Lupin case as a joke that she wasn't very happy about, she wanted nothing to do with the name Lupin (even tho Lupin saved her as a child, and she had a soft respect for him); she thought it was ridiculous because she was a Zenigata that she got stuck with two brats living it up off their dumb father's name. Eventually after catching them the first time, she realizes it's not like that and has a new resolve to catch them for good. She sees a challenge to take that is worthy of her attention and goes for it. Kiyoko is very headstrong and has a huge resolve just like her father, although she actually has more of a life outside of her than he does. But she takes the case very seriously and puts her everything into it.

She's a divorced single mom to a teenage boy as well. The oldest of the whole group.)

I really like the idea of them being childhood sweethearts, but also as the previous anon pointed out, it's unrealistic in that historical context, sooooo... you're getting TWO scenarios!!

This response has left headcanon territory and is trying to become a fanfic of its own.

Case one: self-indulgent childhood sweethearts scenario. Lup and Jig are both trans boys, Lup presents as a boy because his father lets him, Jigen is still in the closet, only out to Lupin.

Lupin and Jigen are in their early teens - twelve or thirteen - and they've known each other for a few years already. Lupin's visits to New York are not anything regular, but he'll be damned if he doesn't see his best friend at least once a year. This time, all the Lupin family is here, and Nisei is attending a fancy party thrown by a wealthy business man he's intending to rob blind. Nisei managed to get his son invited (this is part of mini-Sansei's training), and the invite said to bring a plus-one, so Lupin pestered Jigen until he agreed to come along. (Jigen really wanted to, he just thought it would be a terrible idea and everyone could see he wasn't part of the Wealthy People).

Because they're kids (and because this is my self-indulgent headcanon), Jigen is allowed to present as a guy at the party (which is an argument Lup used to convince him). Lupin is a bit star-struck when he sees his best friend emerging from the dressing room, donned in a fitted tux and with his hair slicked back, looking for all the world like he was born to walk among the high society. Jigen pokes fun at him for his reaction.

For a while now, Lupin has been playfully flirting with Jigen - nothing major, just the occasional teasing, and gifts that could be seen as a token of friendship. Jigen dismissed it as Lupin being an incorrigible lady's man and still seeing a girl in him. But this evening, Jigen is a boy, and Lupin is going all out with the suave gentleman persona, bowing to his partner and asking "May I have this dance?", kissing his knuckles when Jigen bashfully says "yes", making him waltz around the room and holding him close when the slow dances come on.

Jigen is at loss for words; he doesn't know what game Lupin is playing, and he feels like this is wrong, this should be wrong, but he's enjoying himself too much to break away from his friend. There's a small part of him screaming that Lupin has found out about Jigen's feelings for him and is playing a cruel joke; or that he's practicing on Jigen before he tries to woo a lady; or that he's just flirting for the heck of it, because Lupin doesn't need a reason to do crazy things.

To be fair, for all his act of self-confidence and suaveness, Lupin is just as nervous as Jigen is. This is the first time he's had feelings for a boy, and he doesn't know if Jigen sees him as anything other than a friend, or if he might take offense at Lupin's attempt at romance. But he wouldn't be Lupin the Third if he never took any risks, and this evening was enough to turn his burgeoning infatuation into sheer adoration for the beautiful blushing boy in his arms. He's fallen hard, and he can't turn back now.

The slow dance ends, and Jigen, with stars in his eyes and his heart racing, is about to tug his friend towards a quiet hallway outside of the ballroom, when an explosion goes off. Nisei has chosen this exact moment to put his plan into action, and the crowd is now running around in a panic. Lupin grabs Jigen's hand, heading towards the ballroom balcony where Nisei has told him to wait, watch and learn as he performs the heist; but in the chaos, the two are separated, and Lupin has no choice but to follow his father's instructions, leaving his friend behind.

They don't see each other again for several months, and Jigen spends that time convincing himself that he imagined the soft smile on Lupin's lips, the twinkle in his eyes whenever he looked at him, the euphoria of dancing with his crush best friend, of being allowed to be himself for one evening and still being liked that way. Lupin may be his best friend, the person who knows him the best in the world and the one he trusts the most, he's not the person in Jigen's dreams. Because all these fantasies can't happen in real life.

The next time Jigen sees Lupin, it's in the middle of the night, after the young thief climbed up the gutter of his apartment building and insistently knocked on his (third floor) bedroom window until it woke Jigen up. Lupin beckons his friend outside, and they climb the fire escape up to the roof. There, under the half-moon and the yellow lights of the street lamps below, Lupin puts on his most charming smile to hide the frantic beating of his heart, as he hands Jigen a small bouquet of roses he stole from the florist down the street. There is a few seconds of baffled silence, before Jigen shakily takes the bouquet from Lupin's hands, and works up the courage to give his friend a quick peck on the cheek. This was all Lupin needed to know that his offering was accepted, before he leans and returns Jigen's kiss - on his lips. It is quick, and hesitant, and leaves them both frozen in the uncertainty of what the other will do; until Jigen moves away, head bashfully bowed down so his hair will hide his eyes, but there is no mistaking the love-struck smile that he can't fight off his face.

The next times they meet, the exhilarating freedom of their strange friendship had taken new colors, and although their meetings are few and far between, and although they keep it secret, it's the best thing in both of their lives.

Uniforms

This is a Lupin III High School AU that no one asked for but me and some friends made anyway. This AU will include OCs they haven’t made an appearance just yet. Also this high school is a blend of American and Japanese high schools since I’m, unfortunately, more familiar with an American setting. I hope you enjoy.

The ICPO Academy’s name was a joke. Not to say the academy itself was a disgrace to the name of education seeing as the school produced several graduates that went on to become lawyers or doctors or more artistic jobs such as famous actors or architects. ICPO Academy was well known for its reputation as the hub for international learning and cultural acceptance, having the school built in Japan but accepting students from everywhere. Many would question why someone would call the academy’s name a joke with high test scores, amazingly well-funded athletic and arts programs, and a spotless background all being well-known facts.

ICPO: International Criminal Police Organization. The name was outdated and, as mentioned before, a joke, especially to the students who attended the school. The once militaristic educational institution was originally assembled by the Japanese government as a way to train the most elite future members of the police force; the international part only added later once other countries noticed how well the Alta maters excelled in their field. Time, however, was an ever-flowing river and soon more programs such as the arts were added to the school. The need for highly trained police officers was in little demand and the school’s talents for training the best were need elsewhere. The name never changed due to stubborn tradition, also due to the idea of the students needing to “remember their roots”.

Horrible naming aside, the school was strict with everything, from grades to clubs to sports, including school uniforms. That was how three students ended up in the principal’s office one early morning.

“Arsène Lupin, Daisuke Jigen, and Goemon Ishikawa,” the principal, a heavily balding middle-aged man, sighed. He looked like he hadn’t received any proper sleep in weeks. “You three realize the school year only started a month ago and yet you consistently end up here.”

“Sir, I think you are missing the point!” a tall dark-haired man shouted. He stepped forward, shoving aside the three students. The red armband on his left arm was labeled “Head Hall Monitor”. “These three have broken one of the school’s rules, one which is mentioned on the first page of the school handbook so they clearly know what they are doing!”

One of the students, a sophomore with a cocky grin and an even cockier look in his dark brown eyes, laughed. “Pops, you should know I never read any of those dumb manuals!”

“It’s paramount that you read the handbook! And quit referring to me by that ridiculous nickname!”

“Whatever you say, Pops.”

“Mr. Lupin, Mr. Zenigata, I order you to stop this nonsense!” the principal shouted over the arguing pair. “Mr. Lupin, despite you lacking in understanding the school’s policies, you are a sophomore, you should already know that wearing the school’s uniform is a requirement, that goes for you too Mr. Goemon, and especially you Mr. Daisuke, you’re a junior, for Pete’s sake!”

“Jigen.” a gruff-sounding teen muttered. Shaggy black hair covered the teen’s eyes. Unlike the well-dressed (although still against the rules) Lupin, Jigen chose to wear baggy clothes such as a worn hoodie and ripped jeans instead of his uniform. 

“Fine, Jigen,” the man said with an exasperated sigh. “Look, I’m going to cut to the chase since you already know what’s going to happen. I’m going to have the front desk call your parents so they can drop off your uniforms. Mr. Lupin, Mr. Jigen, you’ll be sent to detention for today and tomorrow and will have to use half of your lunch period cleaning the school along with the regular cleaning hours. Mr. Ishikawa, you will have the same punishment except you won’t have detention.”

“What!?” Zenigata cried.

“Is there a problem, Mr. Zenigata?”

“Sir, forgive me for my insolence, but I think this is highly unfair,” Zenigata turned his gaze to the last of the trio, a blue hakama-wearing boy with long but slightly uneven cut hair. “Goemon here is equally as guilty as the rest of them! Therefore, he deserves the same punishment!”

The principal let out a long groan. “I wish I could, Mr. Zenigata. Unfortunately, Mr. Ishikawa is a part of our Judo Team and we’re about to have a match against Cagliostro Academy so-”

“So it’s favoritism!” Zenigata bellowed, slamming his hands on the principal’s desk.

“It’s not favoritism, it’s about securing our school’s reputation! Besides, Mr. Ishikawa isn’t a criminal for refusing to wear the proper garb.” the principal nonchalantly waved his hand.

“We will become one if you don’t punish him accordingly!”

“Do not insult the Ishikawa name like you, you bumbling gorilla.” Goemon spat, keeping a cold expression on his face.

“What did you say!?”

“ENOUGH!”

The room went deathly quiet. The principal, who was suddenly standing tall with an enraged expression on his face. He glared at the four students with a newfound fire in his dark eyes. 

“Mr. Zenigata, this is not up for discussion. If you have a problem, take it up with someone else!”

Zenigata looked like he was going to blow up due to how red his face was. Lupin was frightened, but he kept a small grin on his face. The other two were suddenly extremely interested in the wall.

“Now, all of you, out of my office. I have important work to do.”

Zenigata took several deep breaths before replying. “Alright, sir. I shall take these troublemakers to the front desk to make sure they don’t try to run away.”

“That won’t be necessary, Mr-”

It was too late as Zenigata swiftly herded the group outside of the office, slamming the door behind him. 

The trio shuffled down the hall with only Zenigata walking with a powerful stride. The halls were silent with only the muffled chatter of teacher’s going over their lessons breaking that silence. Posters advertising out of school and in school were taped on walls or pinned to one of the many corkboards that lined the walls. Freshly cleaned windows allowed light to enter in. Jigen grunted as a line of sunlight pierced through his thick locks and entered his eyes. Lupin leaned over Zenigata’s shoulder and smiled.

“The head really chewed you out, huh?”

“Quiet, you scum!” Zenigata snarled, glaring back at the shorter man.

“Wooooooow, is that how all upperclassmen speak to their juniors? I thought we were starting to become friends.”

Zenigata scoffed. “You are not one of my equals, neither as a student or a member of society.”

“Really?” Lupin said with fake surprise dripping from his words.

The senior stopped, leading the rest of the group to follow suit. “I know who you are, Lupin, and I know what your family is.”

“You do?” Lupin glanced over at his companions, who kept measured expressions on their faces, then back at the older student. “What is my family, Koichi Zenigata?”

“A bunch of liars and thieves,” Zenigata said with an icy chill.

The stillness held nothing but tension. Jigen and Goemon silently moved to Lupin’s side. One a slight glimmer of Jigen’s eyes could be seen through the curtain known as his hair; meanwhile, Goemon’s eyes were studying the situation, ready to strike if necessary. Zenigata stood tall with his dark blue and white suit barely hiding the muscles bulging through the cloth. Time ticked away until Lupin broke out into laughter.

“Never knew you hated me that much, Pops!” Lupin patted his shoulder, causing Zenigata to flinch. “C’mon, let’s not fight. Especially since it won’t be a fair fight since your little buddy isn’t here and your reputation would be hurt more than mine.”

“Little… Buddy?” Zenigata looked confused, both due to Lupin’s actions and at the nickname he gave to this unknown person.

“What was his name… Goro! Goro Yatagarasu! That poor boy follows you are like a puppy.” Lupin said.

“Do not insult him like that! Yata is a good student and a better person than you’ll ever be.”

“You’re starting to sound like his boyfriend, Pops,” Jigen spoke up, enunciating the word ‘Pops’.

“Wha- Yata is a freshman and a minor!” 

“That hasn’t stopped seniors before,” Jigen muttered.

Goemon stepped between them with his hands raised. “You wanna get in more trouble?”

Jigen grunted and turned his head away. Zenigata just glared at the trio before starting back on his quest to the front desk. Lupin just pretended to wipe the dust off his crisp white dress shirt and followed the upperclassman with his friends following close behind.

The rest of the walk was uneventful since Lupin stopped trying to press his senior’s buttons. Jigen was more interested in his old sneakers than a conversation with Goemon adopting a similar attitude. Once they reached the open front lobby, Zenigata turned his gaze to the lady who sat behind the circular front desk. Her hair was tied up in a lazy bun with her glasses hanging close to the end of her nose. She looked as interested in her computer work as the principal had looked. She lifted her gaze when Zenigata cleared his throat.

“Can I help you?” her tone was low and bored.

“Yes, these three have broken school rules by deciding to not wear their uniform! I assume the principal has alerted you about the situation?”

“He has.” the receptionist said.

“Then I believe you need to-”

“I’ve already contacted their parents, Mr. Zenigata.” the lady cut off Zenigata with a pointed stare.

“Um, uh, yes,” Zenigata cleared his throat, more awkwardly this time. “W-Well I assume you have the situation handled then?”

“I do.”

“Great! I need to return to class! Please make sure they don’t try anything suspicious.”

“I will, Mr. Zenigata.”

Zenigata bowed before turning to look back at the trio. Lupin stuck out his tongue with a goofy smile plastered on his face. The senior frowned deeply then took off towards an adjacent hallway. The group looked at the front desk lady who already went back to typing away at her computer.

“Wait by the benches over there.” she pointed at the set of benches that were poised by the front doors made entirely of glass. 

“Thank you, ma’am!” Lupin replied in a cheery tone with a wink. The woman just made a noncommittal hum of acknowledgment. Lupin, Jigen, and Goemon all sauntered over to the benches and sat with Lupin in the middle and Jigen and Goemon sitting at the far left and right respectfully. Goemon closed his eyes and lowered his head in mediation with Jigen scratched at his kangaroo pocket. Lupin noticed his not-so-subtle scratching.

“You need to smoke already?” the sophomore whispered.

“Nah,” Jigen replied in a matching soft voice. “Just need to know they’re there. Get anxious if they’re not.”

“That’s a sign of addiction, my scruffy friend.”

Jigen scowled. “Like you’re any better.”

“I can handle being away from cigarettes for a few days, you cannot,” Lupin pointed out. “I’ve even seen you smoke bent ones!”

“A smoke is a smoke.” the junior shrugged.

“Both of you have bad habits.” Goemon chipped in at the same time side-eyeing the pair.

“Like you’re any better. You even said that cigarette you had felt nice!” Lupin countered.

Goemon looked down. He enjoyed the feeling that one cigarette gave him but he’d never admit it, especially since it would most likely lead to his athletic career being cut short. 

Lupin turned his attention back to the older of the three. “Is your mom or dad gonna drop off your outfit.”

“Doubt it,” Jigen snorted. “Ma started taking double shifts to make up for all the new books I had to buy.”

The leader of the group stared at Jigen for a few moments before pulling out his cellphone. He tapped away before raising the phone to his ear.

“Hey, dad? Yeah, it’s me, did you leave already? No? Good!” Lupin said. “Listen, along with my uniform, can you get the bigger one that’s in the drawer next to all my other ones? Thank you!”

“No using any electronic distractions during class periods.” the front desk lady said, still not looking up from her computer. 

“Got it, ma’am!” Lupin replied, saying a quick goodbye to his father before preceding to smile at Jigen. Jigen knew something was up.

“What did you do?”

“Called my old man, of course,” Lupin said.

“No duh, but I know what your family… Does. I need to know if you didn’t just secretly hire a hit or something.” 

“Do you really think that lowly of me, Jigen?” Lupin pretended to look hurt.

“I think you can do some nasty shit if you felt like it,”

“He’s got you there, Lupin,” Goemon added.

“You both are so cruel!” Lupin dramatically placed a hand on his chest. “All I did was ask my father to bring a junior uniform and you’re accusing me of murder!”

“Junior uniform, why would you-” realization hit Jigen. “You bought one… For me?”

“You’re my best friend, you wheezy chimney,” Lupin let out his signature grin. “Someone’s gotta pick you up when you’re down.”

Jigen stared deeply at Lupin before making a tsk sound and whipping his head towards the window. Lupin just chuckled and leaned backward.

Suddenly, the bell rang throughout the school. Students immediately started to flood both the hallway and the front of the school. Couples were walking with their arms linked while others congregated in large groups, laughing about the latest episodes of their favorite shows or lamenting failing a test. Lupin watched them walk by as if he were looking for-

“Hey, Fujicakes!”

Jigen and Goemon both groaned as a long-haired brunette with highlights sashayed over towards them. She wore the standard dark blue, gray, and white uniform but it was clearly altered in some minor but still noticeable ways. The shirt was smaller than it needed to be and the skirt was shorter. Black tights completed the outfit. The freshman carried books and a binder in one hand and a phone with a fake diamond keychain in the other. She stopped only a foot away from the trio before glancing up and down.

“Was dressing like clowns really necessary?”

Jigen and Goemon’s preexisting frown deepened but Lupin gave her a hurt puppy-dog look. “That hurt Fujiko. The real clown outfits are those gaudy uniforms they make us wear. Not you, though. You look fantastic in anything you wear.”

Fujiko giggled, causing Jigen and Goemon to roll their eyes. Fujiko stopped with a sigh. “In any case, I’m guessing you three are in detention.”

“I actually got-”

“And I’m hoping you’ll be there with me,” Lupin said, interrupting Goemon.

“Are you kidding me?” Fujiko said with a snort. “I have cheer practice. I don’t have time to waste with someone like you.”

“Fujicakes,” Lupin said with false hurt.

“I gotta go, Lupin, maybe I’ll see you later when you’re done making a fool of yourself.”

Fujiko walked away with a purposeful stride, leaving Lupin wanting more of her and the other two wanting less. As the crowd began to grow smaller, Jigen glared at his friend.

“How can you stand that girl?”

“Perhaps Fujiko is right about one thing,” Goemon looked down at the still swooning Lupin, “you are a fool.”

“She may be made of ice, but like all ice, it can be melted.” Lupin poetically answered.

“Oh, please,” Jigen grumbled.

Just as all the people left for their class, two men entered the building. One was a wealthy-looking businessman with well-kept hair and a faint beard. He wore a freshly ironed suit that almost gleamed as much as his well-polished shoes. The other was an equally well-dressed man but this time in more traditional Japanese garbs and sandals. His hair was much longer and had a clean-shaven face. Goemon stood up and made his way to the more traditionally dressed man, bowing once he reached him.

“Father.”

“Goemon,” he replied, thrusting the pile of neatly folded clothes he had been carrying into his son’s arms. “Do not repeat this act.”

“I won’t, Father.”

While that exchange went down, the first man eagerly went over and hugged Lupin. He held a smile that was eerily similar to the boy’s. 

“Arsène! You causing micheaf again?”

“Of course, dad, why else would be here?” his son wheezed, trying to escape his bear hug.

He laughed and clasped Lupin on the back. “Aw, I don’t know, maybe you missed me that much you had the principal call me down.”

“Dad!”

“I’m kidding, I’m kidding!” Lupin’s dad chuckled. He looked at the front desk lady, who was watching the whole scene and shrugged. “Kids these days, am I right?”

The lady blinked slowly. “You need to give them their uniforms, sir.”

“Right, right, right,” the man reached into his suit and handed two bags to Lupin and Jigen. “I believe these are for you.”

“Thanks, Dad.”

“Thanks, Mr. Lupin.”

“Now, I need to leave. Business never gives you a break, I swear.” Lupin’s dad winked at the receptionist before following Goemon’s dad out of the building. Lupin let out a long sigh once he left the building.

“Your dad is certainly a character, Lupin,” Goemon commented.

“Not a word, Goemon,”

“You three go change in the bathroom. I write you a pass to your next class.” the woman at the front desk called over to them. 

Lupin gave the group a smirk. “There’s still a full day ahead of us, gentlemen. Let’s not waste it.”

🎁🎄❄️What the Lupin Gang would do for Christmas!❄️🎄🎁

Helloooooooo Lupin fans! You may or may not remember me as that one chick who made that Halloween headcanon post a few months back, as well as the Jigen’s bangs post. I’m back with a Christmas post!!!

Please note: Personally, I really only celebrate Christmas in a non-Jesus-y way. (Which is how I’m also writing this post, because let’s be honest, do you really think Lupin is going to confession and shit? Absolutely not.) It’s purely out of habit because I was raised Catholic, but I practice witchcraft now. My family doesn’t know that though. Because of this, I considered also making posts for other winter holidays, so I could include Lupin fans that don’t celebrate Christmas. But I didn’t want to accidentally mess it up, or write something inaccurate about a holiday that I don’t celebrate. It felt disingenuous to make a Hanukkah post because I’m not Jewish and it doesn’t seem like my place, and I didn’t want to do a Yule one either, because no two people celebrate it the same way. So, I strongly encourage others to add their respective winter festivities to this post if they want to! We’re all about inclusivity here.

Without further ado:

🎁LUPIN:

I don’t feel like it needs saying, but this man goes bonkers for Christmas.

He flip-flops his choice of red or green jacket by the year. But it always comes with an equally garish Christmas-themed tie, just to make explicitly clear that this is The Christmas Jacket for the year, as opposed to the standard red/green jacket.

The hideout(s) are always decorated to the GILLS inside. It’s an odd mix of older classy decorations he’s inherited from his family, and absolutely horrendously tacky ones he’s bought himself. 

Picture real branch garlands, wrapped tastefully around gilded candelabras that have been passed down through several generations. And then one of those singing, dancing stuffed animals from Walmart that plays “Jingle Bell Rock” when you squeeze its paw, right next to it.

Christmas-themed heists? You know it, baby. But he won’t steal anything on Christmas Eve or Christmas. It just isn’t in the spirit of the season, in his opinion. But he’ll leave a little something-something with his calling cards during the rest of December. A candy cane, a sprig of mistletoe, a bough of holly, etc.

Lupin despises eggnog. He loves any other Christmas drink, just not eggnog. He’s too grossed out by the idea of drinking eggs with alcohol- some things just shouldn’t be mixed.

Will not allow anyone to mention the truth about Santa Claus in his presence. Yeah, he knows, but that’s not the point. It just feels like bad luck to say it out loud. The harder Jigen tries to debate with him that Santa isn’t real, the harder he digs in his heels that “of course he is you absolute Scrooge, how dare you! If you don’t believe, you don’t receive.”

Christmas Gifts: The king of gag gifts, but he also gives surprisingly thoughtful presents too. He’s the kind of guy that would get a person something they mentioned once offhandedly that they really liked, and he’d go back and get it for them.

🎅JIGEN:

Lupin always wants to decorate the hideout(s) the second Halloween ends, but it never happens. With Jigen being the only American in the gang, he always puts a stop to it in order to preserve the quickly-disappearing border between Thanksgiving and Christmas.

What can I say, dude loves his Thanksgiving excuse to eat like shit and do nothing for a day. Even if it is a fucked-up holiday, historically speaking.

But once the Thanksgiving meal is over, he gives Lupin the okay to go crazy. He’s pretty stoked about Christmas too, but too full of turkey to contribute, so he just watches Lupin hang up Christmas lights everywhere while he lays on the couch and digests.

Jigen likes Christmas a lot, but like, in a normal person kind of way. Nowhere near Lupin’s insane level. He’s surprisingly open about his enthusiasm too. The average person would think he doesn’t really care about Christmas much (or anything else really), but to the gang, Christmastime is the most openly excited they’ve ever seen him.

One year’s Christmas-themed heist involved Jigen dressing up as a mall Santa as a part of the plan. The gang powdered his beard, gave him a pillow for his stomach, and sent him on his way. Everything went surprisingly smoothly, and he actually did pretty well with the kids. At first they were a little intimidated, and Jigen was kind of nervous- but he gave them all candy canes and they changed their minds pretty quickly.

Jigen enjoyed it a lot, actually... to the point that he may have potentially started volunteering to be the local mall Santa. Every year during December, he leaves for a day or two on “business.” Nobody in the gang can prove it though, and trust me, they’ve tried.

☃️GOEMON:

Goemon wasn’t originally a huge fan of Christmas. Shocking, I know.

He now enjoys some aspects of it, and tolerates others. He likes the idea of giving heartfelt gifts and spending time with loved ones as a tradition, but dislikes the cheesy commercial aspect of Christmas.

He already enjoys the snow and walking through the forest, so the gang usually commissions him to pick a tree for them and cut it down with Zantetsuken. (If they’re somewhere where that’s an option.)

Unbeknownst to the rest of the gang, he will always replant the tree he cut down, and he will wrap something cozy around the bottom of the sapling to keep it safe. Yes, this was directly inspired by A Charlie Brown Christmas. No, he will not admit to this.

⛸FUJIKO:

Fujiko decorates the tree. Period. Lupin cannot be trusted to do this on his own. Goemon picks the tree, Lupin and Jigen put it in the stand, and from there, it’s all Fujiko. The ornaments, lights, and tree skirt are all perfectly color/theme coordinated, and arranged like a pristine store display. 

She also has a few ornaments that she bought for each specific member of the gang. Lupin’s is a monkey (he was not pleased, but he’s whipped for her, so he let her keep it). Jigen’s is a carved wooden pistol. Goemon’s is porcelain, with hand-painted sakura blossoms on it. She bought one for Zenigata too as a joke one year- a tiny bowl of ramen noodles.

Her ornament? The star on top of the tree, because she’s the star of the show, baby. It’s actually a snowflake, made of the finest crystal she could steal.

🎄ZENIGATA:

Zenigata is the second biggest Christmas enthusiast, just behind Lupin.

He doesn’t get to settle down and decorate anything really, since he’s always running after the gang, but he does lots of other little things to celebrate instead. Like getting hot chocolate instead of coffee, tuning the squad car radio to the Christmas station, getting an air freshener that smells like gingerbread, and wearing a festive scarf and gloves with his trench coat to keep out the cold.

In years past, Zenigata still had to work on Christmas Eve/Christmas, even if Lupin wasn’t out stealing anything. Lupin found out and thought that was a little harsh of ICPO, so he came up with a plan. 

Each year he sends a calling card to the station with the conditions that only Zenigata can come to investigate. Zenigata does some research, shows up to the location on Christmas Eve, and every year, nothing’s there except for a neatly wrapped present from Lupin. 

Zenigata keeps the present as “evidence,” goes back to the station, and they give him Christmas off to go investigate on his own, in case Lupin tries anything else. Lupin never does, but the station doesn’t know that. Bada bing, bada boom, Lupin just got Zenigata a vacation.

Zenigata never catches on, bless his heart.

Fire Force EP#01 - Shinra Kusakabe Enlists: Shinra Kusakabe, a youth dubbed "Devil's Footprints" due to his power to ignite his feet at will, joins Special Fire Force Company 8, a specialized fire brigade of pyrokinetics which destroys Infernals, sympathetically described as putting their human souls to rest. Shinra is quickly dispatched on his first mission to save the wife of a factory owner that has become an Infernal. In the midst of the emergency, he recalls accidentally burning down his house and killing his family with his powers as a child, causing him to be feared and neglected, as well as leaving him with the desire to become a hero and save people. Shinra successfully destroys the Infernal and the factory owner thanks Shinra profusely for laying his wife to rest.

Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin EP#04 - Goodbye, Artesia.

Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma EP#04 - Sacred Mother of Kyokusei: Soma is sent to Polar Star Dormitory, a dormitory for students whose home is further away from the school. He is greeted by Fumio Daimidō, the caretaker, and is required to cook a dish that satisfies her in order to become a resident. Not knowing that he was supposed to bring his own ingredients, Soma nevertheless creates a mackerel burger meal using leftover ingredients in the kitchen, which impresses Fumio greatly. Now a Polar Star Dormitory resident, Soma meets the other residents: first-year Yūki Yoshino who specialises in wild game, her best friend and fellow first-year Ryōko Sakaki who specializes in fermentation and alcoholic beverages, quiet first-year Shun Ibusaki who specialises in smoked food, first-year nerd Zenji Marui who specialises in in-depth food research, bickering freshmen Daigo Aoki and Shōji Satō, neither of whom specialise in any one area of cooking but nonetheless are skilled enough to remain at the academy, enthusiastic second-year Satoshi Isshiki who specialises in traditional Japanese cuisine, as well as Megumi, who specialises in vegetable and seafood dishes. During a welcoming party, Soma is further introduced to the academy's inner workings, such as the Elite Ten, the highest decision-making body in the school other than the school director himself. This group consists of ten exceptionally talented students, with the 10th seat being Erina, and the 7th seat being Satoshi. Satoshi decides to challenge Soma to a cookoff. When he presents his peppered mackerel dish, Soma is shocked by the high quality of his cooking.

Lupin the 3rd Part 5 EP#07 - His Name is Albert: Lupin is hired by his old friend Gaston to steal a certain painting from the vault of Mr. B, a compulsive art collector. The painting is a Picasso forgery ostensibly painted by Gaston's grandchild. Lupin succeeds in his heist, but he and Jigen end up being chased by the DGES. Lupin discovers that the painting is the hiding-place for a notebook containing information about sensitive crimes hushed up by the French police, evidence which would topple a number of high-level persons if its contents went public. Lupin then finds that the Gaston who hired him was an impostor, as the real one died a month ago. A clue reveals the involvement of Albert d'Andrésy, an individual from Lupin's past that he never wanted to see again.

Attack on Titan Season 3 EP#22 Finale - Beyond the Walls: At the meeting of the Paradis government, Historia decides the people within the walls must be told the truth about the Titans which had been kept secret for 100 years and that the breaching of the wall by Titans was the beginning of a planned invasion by the state of Marley. This information is met with mixed reactions among the population. When Hitch approaches the survivors at a ceremony to honor their fallen comrades, Floch tells her what a hero Marlo was. He also raises the difficult question of why Armin was given the serum instead or Erwin, a controversial decision even among the survivors. As Historia presents the nine survivors with their medals, Eren touches her hand, and immediately he is flooded by memories of the Fritz royal family, indicating a connection through Titan blood. Within a year after the attack on Trost District, the Titans inside Wall Maria have been killed and the inhabitants return to their hometowns to begin rebuilding and farming. Six years after the fall of Wall Maria, the Survey Corps including the survivors again begin expeditions outside the wall. One day they find a Titan unable to move because of its small arms and legs and realize that they must be close to the perimeter wall where Eldians are turned into Titans by Marley. Riding further on, they finally arrive at the wall where Grisha became a Titan, and for the first time they see the shimmering ocean. They joyfully play in the water, though Eren realizes that they only found enemies across the sea instead of the freedom he has been seeking.

My Hero Academia: Provisional Hero License Exam Arc EP#60 - A Talk About Your Quirk: The staff reveals who all received their Provisional Licenses. Nearly all of Class 1-A received it with the exception of Todoroki and Bakugo, due to Todoroki's feud with Inasa (who also failed the test) and Bakugo's rudeness towards the victims. However, the ones who failed can make it up by taking a 3 month course to obtain their Provisional Licenses. Midoriya tries to find Camie to talk to her, but her classmates tell him she wasn't feeling well and left early. It is revealed that Camie was actually Himiko in disguise, as her quirk allows her to transform into those whose blood she consumes. She returns to the League of Villains with Midoriya's blood. All Might interrogates All For One in prison, with the latter gloating about what he has accomplished despite being beaten to near-death and imprisoned. All Might vows to his enemy that Shigaraki will not kill him or Midoriya. At night, Bakugo has Midoriya meet him in the place where they had their mock match. He reveals that he's figured out the secrets behind Midoriya's quirk as witnessing All For One allowed him to understand that Quirks can be transferred and deduced Midoriya's connection to All Might. Frustrated with Midoriya's progress and his acknowledgement from All Might, Bakugo challenges him to a fight.

Black Clover: Royal Knights Selection Exam EP#80 - Special Little Brother vs. Failed Big Brother: Langris recalls how his parents doted on him and arranged for him to marry a noble lady named Finnes Calmreich, whereas Finral was neglected. Langris was enraged to find Finnes preferred the weaker Finral instead of him. Langris attacks Finral's crystal, expecting to defeat Finral easily but is shocked when Finral cancels his attack. Finral explains that when two different spatial spells collide the mana currents cancel each other out. Leopold and Hamon attack the enemy crystal and duel with Flagil. Finral teleports Sekke away to the Black Bulls base where he is punished by Yami for disturbing him on the toilet. Enraged that Finral dare stand up to him Langris prepares his most powerful attack spell. Finral, who always regretted not being closer to Langris, begs him to stop. Further enraged at Finral's attempt to act like an older brother Langris attacks and though Finral tries to fight back his crystal is destroyed and parts of his body are violently teleported away. Langris' team are declared the winners. Langris recalls that while his parents loved him for being powerful everyone else loved Finral for being kind. Unable to handle his rage Langris prepares to attack and murder the unconscious Finral, but is stopped when Asta and the Bulls furiously storm onto the battlefield to defend Finral.

KASHIN KOJI

stoic, straightforward and enigmatic, koji at first seemed very loyal to kara, willing to assassinate a fellow member on orders from his leader. the clone of jiraiya created by amado with the sole purpose of killing isshiki otsutsuki. a former inner of kara, he appears to have an interest in boruto uzumaki's abilities.  [bisexual/demiromantic]

KOHINATA HARUKA「original character」

MATSURI

MOMOCHI ZABUZA

MORINO IBIKI

ibiki is a tokubetsu jonin of konoha and the head of the torture and interrogation force. tall and very strict, he's been described by kakashi as a sadist, however he's shown that he is a quite reasonable man with a more relaxed side that few get to see. as of now he is the leader of team 40. canon div! his family is loosely related to the senjus, patched things up with his brother idate.  [he will say it’s redacted but it’s actually bisexual/biromantic]

NAMIKAZE SAMUI

leader of team samui, samui is a kunoichi from kumogakure that has a calm, mature and generally silent disposition to her, bordering on aloof at times. as most jonin from kumo, she is skilled with kenjutsu, other than that she is also very knowledgeable & has a high level of self control. canon div! both she and her brother are from the namikaze clan, their father moved from konoha to kumo after his marriage to their mother. NARA SHIKAMARU

though naturally lazy, shikamaru's intellect is one of a kind and consistently allows him to prevail in combat. a former member of team asuma, alongside ino and chouji he is part of the famed inoshikacho trio. after his sensei's death shikamaru goes through a rapid maturation. he is currently the 7th hokage’s advisor and trusted friend. YAMANAKA INO

METACRISIS DOCTOR

the meta-crisis doctor, also known as corin, john smith, or simply the doctor, was a human-time lord hybrid created from the tenth doctor and donna noble. he had only one heart, aged like a human, and lacked regeneration abilities. despite being a separate person with his own body, he shared donna's dna. after destroying the daleks, he was "banished" to pete's world to live out his life. the metacrisis-doctor inherited donna's mannerisms and claimed to have the same memories and feelings as the original doctor. however, the original doctor pointed out that the duplicate was born in battle and motivated by anger and revenge. this led the metacrisis-doctor to attempt genocide against the daleks, which the original doctor condemned. despite their differences, he initially insisted on being called the doctor, but eventually grew out of it and matured, picking a name for himself after wilfred mott, donna's grandfather. he now goes as wilfred smith, or as his friends at UNITY call him freddy. he often uses the word "wizard" to describe something abnormal. NINTH DOCTOR

after emerging from the last great time war, the ninth doctor believed himself to be the only survivor. he grieved over the immense suffering and destruction caused by his actions, feeling profound guilt and struggling with the idea of being the last of the time lords. cut off from his race, he was alone and emotionally haunted by the war. this led him into a darker period marked by resentment, brooding, and rudeness towards those who bothered him. he also harbored a particular rage towards the daleks, thinking they were all destroyed. despite this, he remained friendly and jovial towards those he liked.. NOT-DOCTOR

the not-thing that copied the 14th doctor. nicknamed as not-doc by the not-donna. the not-things became aware of the universe and turned malicious. they boarded a spaceship at the edge of the universe and to stop them the captain started a slow self-destruct process but committed suicide. donna noble and the fourteenth doctor ended up on the ship, the two not-things disguised as each other and tried to deceive the doctor and donna however the duo realised the not-things true identities. initially the not-things wanted to participate in chaos and war. the not-things could replicate humans with high accuracy but they had difficulties shaping human arms and jaws. they also lacked understanding of size, shape, and object permanence at first and they could move fast in a quadrupedal form. via assimilation of thoughts and memories they became more and more curious about the nature of the not-not-things - or as they call them, some-things (aka doctor and donna, and the rest of humankind). despite having the memories of the ones they copy in their mind, the not-things are each of them their own "person", an entity deeply bonded and that has an extreme curiosity and hunger for knowledge.
