💥GUNNER JIGEN 💥
Ew, tacky's putting words on their art post-
So @dukeswonderousmenagerie has this really fun lupin zombie au that happens to be videogame-based, which is pretty neat. Here's the profile they made for Jigen:
Snuffy takes asks about it (say hi, chat about the au and their other stuff too!), so I sent a couple, and it turns out that they're also pretty neat. We ended up chatting, hashing out some more stuff about the au over discord, and I just had to draw him :D
IDK who I'm gonna sketch up next *cough* probably Lupin *cough*, but there'll definitely be more of this AU over here in tacky territory eventually.
BOO SURPRISE NO HAT JIGEN BELOW THE CUT, THIS POST IS SUPPOSED TO BE OVER WHY WOULD TACKY DO THAT, THEY'RE UNHINGED-

Date and Time: XX/XX/XXXX Subject: Introductory Class Video Recording and Written Transcript
Transcript:
(Video Start)
00:00: Static view of what appears to be a dilapidated parking garage comes into view after moments of camera static. Against one of the support beams a man stands, dressed in dark attire. He wears a large broad brim hat which obscures his face no matter how much the camera zooms in to attempt get a glimpse. The smoke from his lit cigarette is making small loops around his face.
(camera flickers and cuts at this moment only picking up audio, after a series of sudden bangs, the camera’s film comes back into view, and the man is talking, he seems annoyed)
Mysterious man: What do you want.
(A muffled voice can be heard off camera. The man suddenly lifts his head and while you can’t see his face, you can tell he’s looking at the small group standing around him and suddenly the man looks extremely concerned but in an annoyed way)
Mysterious Man: (turns his head off camera) What the hell Warren. You’ve got to be kidding me. This is them! Are they serious, is he honest to god serious!? (A voice speaks. Another male) What’s the problem?! Their babies for god sakes, this one barely looks seventeen (the man points to someone off screen) how am I suppose too-
(the man gets cut off by the voice on the outside of the screens field of view. after a few moments of debate, the man suddenly grumbles, and pushes his hat down farther on his head. He doesn’t say another word on the matter, but his demeanor seems to have changed)
Mysterious Man: Alright, well congratulations kids welcome too-
(he stops)
Mysterious Man: Hey, you with the— Is that camera? Why in the hell are you holding a camera? (He turns his head) You never told me we were recording this shit?!
(The voice from before speaks)
Mysterious Man: He wants this shit taped?! (The man runs a hand across his face and sighs)
Mysterious Man: Alright you know what to hell with this, screw the introductions, I’ll make this brief, this is already a circus anyways. Here’s how shits gonna work. You show up. You listen to me. And you try not to get yourselves killed. Some of you shouldn’t even be here but that’s besides the point right now. Point of the matter is your here and as much as I don’t like it, I don’t have much of a say in it, but if you cooperate with me you might actually live to see. . .whatever it is you guys want to see by the next tomorrow.
Mysterious Man: Now all of you should have gotten the pamphlets that were handed out by the recruiters. So you already should know what this class is about. If you don’t then listen up I’m not gonna repeat myself twice. The point of this class is simple.
(the man raises his hand and points out the garage entrance, toward the dark treeline far from view)
Mysterious Man: Out there beyond the safety of the perimeter, every living thing that crawls, flies, runs or screams loud enough to bust your eardrums wants to kill you. It is my job to keep you alive. I will not succeed -- (he pauses for affect, and he turns his head to look at someone, and his face seems to drop just a little) -- not with all of you. If you wish to survive, you need a strong mental attitude, you need to follow procedure and you need to listen to me. You also need to respect the fact that of every second of every day, the moment you step OUT of the gate, you may never return. Which is why, despite my previous statement of not having much of a say, I’m giving you a choice on whether or not this is truly what you want.
(The familiar voice suddenly speaks)
Mysterious Man: Ease up Warren, this doesn’t concern you. If he wants them under my care, then he’s got to deal with how I do things, if he doesn’t like it then he can take it up with me, but you know he’d rather not..So I’m giving them a choice.
(the mysterious man looks out at the group)
Mysterious Man: The choice is simple. If you wish not to continue with this class you are not obligated to return after this introduction. Those of you who do wish to return, classes start at 0600 sharp tomorrow morning. I will give you all instructions on where to meet me. . .you can make your choice by then.
(he sighs)
Mysterious Man: You're all dismissed for now, try not to get yourselves maimed on your first week. I don't want to see any of you in the medical bay.
(The camera is jostled around and handed to someone off screen as the class disperses. However before the camera is officially turned off, the film is first turned off, but the voice recording remains on. While the introduction is majorly cut after production, the original ending for the audio is salvaged)
Official recording ends at 35:25:60

A common enemy across New York and beyond, Starved Hounds, also known as Feral hounds or Writher Hounds, are relentless, rabid beasts fueled by an insatiable blood-lust. Known to avidly chase their own shadow in the pursuit of a kill, despite their thinly-graven figures and the myriad of wounds that cover them, these creatures can often be found lurking or just dimly shadowing the oblique lands of post-apocalyptic New York, willing too shred any unwary presence to pieces until he or she is no more.

Lupin III Chapter 40 Review
hi tumblr it's me day 2 let's see how long i can go for once again never take any of this seriously this is just for fun ok thanks
this chapter starts out with a sussy looking man trying to escape out of prison!!! who the fuck is he????
from the left bottom panel over there we can see that he's been caught by the police, who then escorts him in a car with two other people who seem to know him
look at their faces thats very sus
then we switch to kid lupin in his mansion listening into the convo happening in the police's car it seems to be connected to the police's walkie talkie but suddenly! he is in shock and bolts out the house what did he hear in the walkie talkie?? and where is he going???
well well well the walkie talkie speaks of the various prison escapees... and one of them, the man whom we saw escaping earlier WAS NONE OTHER THAN LUPIN II, HIS FATHER!!!!!!!!!!!
i hate him so much anyways ahem ahem Lupin iii on the other hand runs out to a cemetery, which houses the gravestone of his father?? he is equally just as shocked to hear this chapter plot twist, his father whom he thought was dead was alive all along!?
apparently it was arsene lupin that told him that his father was dead, we never get told why he did it, but i wonder maybe because a lupin who fails at his job is no longer a lupin in his eyes, so since lupin ii was captured and thrown in jail, he is nothing but dead to him it can also possibly explain why lupin iii got put in so much rigorous training at such a young age and become conditioned to pass on arsene's legacy because his son couldnt but enough with overanalyzing the plot, let's move on
ANOTHER lady (i dont think its been the same one since this entire kid lupin series???) appears and says that she's known the truth for years now and i guess they just go back to the mansion ah yes ive learned that my father is actually alive lets not do anything about it nah jk hes probably trying to process everything poor kid
going back to lupin ii's side, the police turns out to be one of his allies and gets them out of prison along with handing them guns n shit then one of his friends just shoots the police??? and lupin ii is reasonably pissed like wtf you killed the dude that worked with us then the guy reasons that the guy is still a cop and they still shouldnt trust ok whatever fine lets go with that then
i cant bro is so angry apparently in this panel he says "HE WAS MY BEST CONTACT!" and im just wondering what he meant by that maybe its just tokyopop translation spouting bs again but it may just be something from the og manga im thinking maybe he was trying to monitor lupin iii? currently the plot isn't at the point where i can explain my idea though
now his next plan is to find lupin iii, whoom he claims is posing as a fake and his son was supposed to be dead???? shits getting wild
theres so much shit to absorb in just these panels
the cityscape looks so fucking cool???? i want to draw like that…
LUPIN III IS JUST LYING ON HIS COUCH HOLDING A TV UP TO HIS FACE??? HES JUST USING IT AS AN IPAD HELP IF THAT ISNT THE FUNNIEST WAY TO WATCH TV EVER IDK WHAT IS
LUPIN II JUST FUCKING POPS OUT OF NOWHERE??? IS BRO FLOATING PYCAL STYLE????
anyways lupin iii gets attacked by them prison men! lupin iii sees his dad and hes like you're not my dad prove it to me then lupin ii is like you're not my son!
then they like fight or something
lupin ii holds the woman earlier hostage and is about to rape her, then lupin iii says that they're surrounded by the police and hes about to get arrested anyway (this is so stupid) then lupin iii leaves thinking hell get arrested, and it turns out that the woman and lupin ii were just faking it and this was just a test for lupin iii
Panel 1: "You can put your clothes on." "Oh, are we done now?" Panel 2: "He's not ready to take over the family business." "Well, at least tell him the truth, you owe him that much." Panel 3: "Not yet." "Not until he proves his worth."
the lupin family is just like a traditional asian family you better start burning at least 90 houses until you're allowed to eat dinner again then lupin ii retreats and dresses up as a police officer, he tricks the detective guy (from the earlier chapter) into thinking that he has escaped into the mountains
then he hops on a motorcycle to escape, and oh? it seems like lupin iii already found out his plan and was camping in the sidecar to wait for him but unfortunately… his father rams him onto a tree.
great job lupin ii great treatment of your son you havent seen in years  but this is the end of the kid lupin chapters! we will be resuming back to the monkey man tomorrow. (nevermind i have something else planned for tomorrow no chapter 41 til thursday) lupin ii will never been seen in the lupin manga for a long long time…
also i like how this chapter singlehandedly explains why motorcycles with sidecars are no longer a thing anymore today.
#lupin the 3rd#lupin iii#lupin the third#lupin ii#local lupin manga fan screams about the manga as per usual

𝘾𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙥 𝙛𝙖𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙣 𝙡𝙤𝙫𝙚 (𝘗𝘢𝘳𝘵 𝘵𝘸𝘰)
Jigen Daisuke
[ If you haven't read the first one you can find it here ]
Summary || Jigen never expected to see you a second time but here we are.
CW || Mentions of jumping.
You stared down at the water below, the lights from the city dancing in the waves. The smell of rain was strong. You could hear the thunder rumbling in the distance behind the sound of the cars passing by behind you.
"Hey, you're not planning on jumping are you," Jigen's gruff voice turned your head. He leaned against the railing beside you taking the cigarette from his lips and tossing it into the water. You looked back out over the water, "No," Jigen actually never expected to see you again, what a coincidence that he just happened to be walking through the area for a smoke.
"Nice to see you again." You said and turned, facing him. He let out a breathy laugh. "Sure, you too." He looked towards the dark clouds, "So if death's not the plan what are you doing out here before a bad storm?" He asked. "I could say the same thing for you."
Jigen placed his hands in his pockets. "Nah, just taking a smoke and enjoying the smell of rain."
You hummed. "Yeah, rain has always been a fan favorite of mine." You stated. He looked back at you, "Really?" You nodded. "Yeah, I lived in a place where it used to rain a lot, it's the same thing with cigarette smoke. My parents were smokers so it reminds me of home."
Jigen nodded. Another boom of thunder rumbled the ground reminding you that you might want to head home. You honestly didn't wanna leave but it seemed Jigen had the same thought.
"Well I should get going back to the room, see ya." He gave you a wave as he walked away. "Hey wait!" You chased after him, slowing to a walk when you reached his side. "My house is pretty far from here, you wouldn't mind me waiting the storm out with you would you?" You asked. Jigen knew that you ment no harm by it at all, you seemed like you had no idea who Lupin and him actually were anyways. It would make him uncomfortable but it was just a short shower.
"Sure,"
You smiled. You took interest in Jigen and who he was, he's such a mysterious character that you couldn't help but be captivated by him. He had trust issues, you could see that much.
"Jigen! There you are! I thought you weren't gonna make it back before the storm came." Lupin announced. He looked over to you, a smile growing on his face. "Y/n! I never thought I'd see you again." He bounced over to you, wrapping an arm around your shoulder and walking into into the room. You conversed with Lupin for a bit before he found interest in something else.
Goemon found interest in meditation while Jigen glanced up at you every once in a while. You looked up at the dark sky from the window, from the way you were sitting you had a perfect view of Jigen. In his hands was his gun unloaded. That was one of the things you wondered since you last had a run in, who were these guys and why were they so up tight?
"Hey Jigen?" You stood and sat next to him. He leaned forward laying his gun on the table and leaning back. "What?"
"I'm curious to know, what do y'all do for a living?" Jigen bIt his lip. He never expected you to ask him anything about that and he honestly didn't want to scare you off but the truth couldn't hurt. "Thieves, Lupin is the lead of the group and Goemon over there is a swordsman." He explained. You didn't know why the thought didn't cross your mind earlier but that ment this was Lupin III's gang. You were surprised but you didn't plan on running.
"What about you?" You asked. "Sharp shooter, I can pull out a gun in 0.3 seconds and almost never miss." He said. Your jaw dropped, "Really?" He nodded. "If you don't go ratting us out or being like Fujiko I'll show you." Jigen offered.
You smiled. This was the most exciting thing to ever happen to you in your boring little life, all you ever did was sit at home and listen to the radio. Your family never visited so you were always alone. Lupin proved to be enough entertainment as you heard about him a lot on the radio, the thought of joining his crew crossed your mind occasionally but never as a split second yes or no question. You always ended up questioning if being on the run and wanted all the time was what you really wanted, you never could actually answer it though, you wanted to experience it first hand before saying yes.
"You wouldn't mind me joining just for one heist would ya?" You asked.
Jigen looked down at you surprised. He didn't expect that from someone who was just a normal civilian. The job was dangerous and for someone with little to no experience to be thrown into the mix it would only weigh the team down.
"That's up to Lupin." He answered and crossed his arms. You nodded. "Lupin." Leaned back in his chair with his feet propped up on the table and hands behind his head he hummed. "Would you mind me joining you on a heist?" Lupin sat up looking at you then Jigen. He pointed at you, Jigen nodded. Lupin was honestly surprised that Jigen told you anything.
"Well, we could always use more people." He said.
"I don't plan on staying, yet. I'm just seeing what it's like." You explained.
Lupin shrugged "We could still use another hand," Lupin went back to leaning back in his chair. You looked back up at Jigen, he looked back at you. "Guess you're staying with us until then." He said.
-----
The storm carried on into the next day contrary to what Jigen had thought the day before, it was a much lighter drizzle now than it was before but that didn't speak for what might happen later. He was the first one awake other than Goemon who was nowhere to be seen. With a sigh Jigen brought a cigarette to his lips lighting it and tossing the lighter down.
They were gonna be moving floors later to get a better look of everything down below and stay out of civilian's peeking vision.
Blowing the smoke from his lips he looked around the room at his sleeping companions. Lupin lay in the bed, sheets uneven and jumbled together. You lay on the couch curled up in a ball with a small lap blanket covering you. Jigen was actually the one who covered you last night. You eventually fell asleep much later into the night falling against his shoulder. You both stayed like that for a while until Jigen had to get up and grab his cigarettes. Before you fell asleep though you ended up chatting up a storm with him. You were a very curious person asking him different questions about him and what he does, of course his answers were never straight forward.
The day went about as slowly as you could have guessed it would. Around the time that everything was successfully moved to the 13th floor it had stopped raining, you hoped it would pick back up but it never did.
You found yourself sticking close to Jigen throughout the day. He had a calming aura and he never talked much unless we was insulting Lupin or throwing in his opinion on something. You stayed quiet too not wanting to disrupt the flow of things, they had all known each other longer than they had known you, which was only a few days but the same rules applied in terms of speak when spoken too. Lupin explained that tomorrow would be the day of planning and the day after would be putting the plan into action. Lupin usually didn't take his time like this, most of his plans were followed through within the day or night of making it. But of course it was of Jigen's caution, wanting to give you time to mentally prepare.
The room they moved too was nice with a balcony to the outside, where you went as soon as the sun fell below the horizon. Jigen miraculously popped up out there with you, though he had done it on purpose. He figured it was a good idea to let you know what the heist was gonna be.
"So," he leaned against the railing beside you "Did you hear what the heist is?" He asked you. Pulling out a cigarette and putting it between his lips. "No," he lit it and exhaled. "Figured, you looked kinda zoned out when Lupin was telling us." You looked at him. "There's going to be an auction in two days, Lupin has his eyes set on a 1973 Porsche 911 Carrera RS," Jigen explained.
"How much?"
Jigen shook his head "13 million Yen," your jaw dropped. "What?!" You exclaimed. Jigen grinned at your surprise, "Yup," he had to admit, it was amusing watching you react to all of this. "Wow," you whispered and looked back out over the rail. Jigen leaned against the wall, a breeze brushing past as he sighed.
"We're back!" Lupin announced as he stepped through the door with a helmet in hand and Fujiko behind him. You and Jigen stepped into the room, "Get anything?" Jigen asked. Fujiko set a stack of photos on the table. "Yeah, the whole floorplan." She said. You leaned down taking the floor plan into your hands, Jigen and Goemon peeked over your shoulders, Jigen started speaking but you weren't listening. The breath going down your neck was distracting you, making your heart beat at speeds you didn't think it could.
Jigen grabbed it from your hands setting it back down on the table, "So they're already setting up?" He asked.
"Yup!" Lupin answered matter of factly.
"Tomorrow Jigen will you show them how to fire a gun while the rest of us plan, we'll fill you in when you get back?" Jigen nodded. "Great!"

First off, thanks so much for all your awesome work! It is next to impossible to find anybody that writes for the Lupin series, and your stuff is super enjoyable! If you'd be willing, how about the Lupin boys (including Pops) with a s/o that takes a bullet for them (but survives because I'm a hoe for that good hurt/comfort schmaltz).
I’m so sorry if these are slow I’m working on an animation at the moment so...that’s fun, sadly for Pops I really couldn’t think of anything for him I’m so so sorry
I am an angst whore so i had to do this! Never apologize for asking for angst though its so much fun! I love to hurt myself with this kind of stuff!
you had to help them with a hist and things turn south.
Lupin iii
-It all happened so fast, the both of you were running down a hallway Lupins hand in yours as bullets fly past the both of you. Thanks to his lucky stars Lupin was able to get to a window in time and with you in arms jumps out.
-Once the both of you hit the ground it’s more running. That’s when you noticed someone had a shot aimed right to his head only you could see.
-“LUPIN”
-You would yell as you lift up your arm. . . The way your blood splatters across his face as he saw where the bullet landed.
-right in your arm, If you haven’t moved in the way he would have been a goner, but now he had to worry about you since...your arm was shot and is bleeding
-The thief’s eyes widen as he takes your not wounded hand and make the great escape.
-Once y’all were all back to there base of operation lupin is stressed. His hands run over your body as he watched you, your body should have never been wounded like this.
-he would make sure your knocked out when the bullet is taken out. Hearing your scream of pain when the bullet entered was already to much for him, hearing it again would destroy him.
-After an hour you would wake up to lupin next to you. The way you pat his head would wake him up immediately and just kiss you and hold you.
-he would be a lot more cautious with you by now, fearing he may lose you if he ever did he would never forgive himself. But after that night he would have nightmares of what would happen if you moved and were in his place and he didn’t see the shooter, or if you had lost your life. It terrifies him.
-“I’m so sorry my Gem, I never meant to put you in danger”
Fujiko Mine
-Her heels tapped on the hard floor as you both ran, both of you were fucked over and being hunted down. This wasn’t an idea situation in the slightest. Especially when someone has a gun aimed at them.
-you saw it in the Knick of time as when you pushed fujiko away the bullet lodged itself in your shoulder.
-the scream you made shook fujiko to her core as she watched you hold your now bleeding arm.
-“Y/N!”
-She would yell looking at you. In a last ditch effort she pulls out her hand gun and starts firing at everyone. She could still see that her S/O was up.
-once y’all were able to get out of there she drives you back to her base of operations and gets a doctor to pull out the bullet.
-she could feel the stress in her as you rested. Then you woke up, the smile on her face was so wide as she just hugs you.
-“F-Fujiko! I’m sore I’m sore!”
-you would Yelp as she let’s go a small bit. She knew the shot wouldn’t kill you but still she was terrified of the thought that you would do something for her.
-“never do that again!”
-she would snap as she hugs you again. She is just so glad you okay.
-after that she would make sure you never do that again and promise you won’t throw your life away just for her. But you can’t do that reminding her that she would do the same if she could.
Ishikawa Goemon
-Y’all were running threw a forest men were chasing after you both as you had just stolen a rather priceless golden mask. From the start of the hist Goemon didn’t think it would end well.
-as you both ran gunshots were heard and then a gasp. Goemon felt his body get pushed then a scream of pain. When he looked behind him he looked down to see you on the floor holding your leg.
-in a panic he rushed over slashing at any incoming bullets as he watched your form.
-“Goemon, we need to run!”
-you would yell as you pull out your gun and fire at some of the men. The only means of escape would be to run but as your a little wounded he had to pick you up. So Goemon dose just that and grabs you and carried you away running as fast as he could.
-he was more worried about blood loss or infection by now
-When the bullet was finally out it felt like an eternity had passed before you had woken up. He spent most of the time trying to mediate or just calm himself. Though he feels a deep guilt in himself since you had taken a bullet and not him.
-“Y/N… I’m so sorry”
-he would say to what he assumed to be your sleeping body but when you place your hand on top of his with a smile.
-“Guess you can say I fell for you”
-you would joke...the sigh of relief he gave was very much welcomed.
Jigen Daisuke
-It was just a simple task get in, get the cash and get out. Yet for some reason everything went wrong and Jigen was running with you threw a rather rocky forest.
-as you both ran Jigen trips and falls getting his foot caught in a hole. You gasped as you ran to him to try and help him out. Just then you heard a gun cock and looked behind you to see a man aiming at Jigens head.
-out of impulse you throw yourself in front of the gunman. He was shocked when he saw a bullet zoom threw your shoulder leaving a large wound. His gaze showed pure shock as he then realized what you did.
-without thinking he pulls out his gun and fires at the man shooting him in the chest. Then he had you to deal with. He gets his foot out and the both of you continue to run. Though he had to help you for a wile after since...blood loss.
-once y’all finally get to the base of operation he was thankful there would be no digging for bullets… but still it’s a rather large wound and he has to stress.
-this man takes apart and cleans his gun so many times.
-is away when you wake up though. You haft to find this man and you do surprise him quite a bit when you jump behind him.
-“what’s wrong? Did you really think I would die so easily?”
-you asked with a raised brow.

Meet The Staff: Aya

Edited On December 2, 2018
Aya (short for “Ayase”) is one of the staff writers for The Other Side of Tomorrow. She has a history of writing that extends all the way back into her high school career and opened her first website on Yahoo!’s now-defunct GeoCities service, alongside her first LiveJournal account (seriously, who didn’t try any of this stuff if they were around back then?) in 2004, which--of course--are long gone. Her writing and other activity has made the rounds in various small, grass-roots efforts, including a handful of old, now-defunct projects such as Gaming Unleashed and The Tails Realm. She has also maintained a number of personal blogs and projects over the years (almost all of which are now gone); her current blog, “Ayase Leilani’s Blog,” remains active. Alongside Cammie, she is now beginning her next endeavour: The Other Side of Tomorrow.

WHY DOES SHE WRITE: In Grade Eight, I could barely string together a sentence. I had an English teacher who constantly pushed me to write more and more and more for his class. I adored this teacher, who had served in the American Military during World War II and had amazing stories to tell; I would spend much of my free time talking with him. At the end of my Grade Eight year, I turned in my final project and found out that I had barely improved at all with my writing all year. I broke down in sobs and told him I’d never be able to write at this rate. He calmly handed me a box of tissues and waited for me to calm down. And then he said the words I would remember the rest of my life: “Never stop writing. Because one day you will be able to write very well and then you will be able to tell the world your story.” This has stuck with me my entire life and is now why I am able to write the way that I do.

idr if youve mentioned him yet but what happens to zenigata in the zombie apocalypse
Oh Zeni. . .
Poor Zeni: his story depends on a lot of determining factors and ideas and as a result is still greatly unwritten and still in the concept stages.
Originally, the idea for him was as such.
He and Yata were to be in New York at the time of the outbreak, after hearing intel that Lupin and the Gang were headed there. They happen to arrive just as the situation started escalating to the point of near turmoil.
In the ensuing chaos, Zenigata was suppose to loose Yata at the beginning of the outbreak, the latter being killed by a unknown type of zombie that escapes and is never seen again. The stress of loosing his partner, his career and his purpose in “chasing Lupin to the ends of the earth” (hehe how ironic) because of this unprecedented event, leads to Zenigata becoming despondent as well as depressed.
Spending all his life dedicated to chasing after Lupin, starts too take its toll on Zenigata as the weeks go by. He is unable to cope with drastic sudden changes.
That is until he gets the idea to start chasing something else.
Months into the initial outbreak, the amounting stress, paranoia, anger and disturbing lust for revenge, results in Zenigata becoming a “Captain Ahab” like character, who spends most of his days, attempting to track down the hulking brute that had killed Yata.
Whether or not he actually finds it is up for debate.
Whether he gets his revenge or dies trying is never determined.
This idea was the first concept I had for Zenigata, I never knew what I wanted to do with it, or if I actually wanted to keep it.
If you think I should, lemme know!

Daisuke Jigen
mors certa, hora incerta (death is certain, its hour is uncertain)
(Character Entry x Lupin III: Run n Gun Character Entry) Master thief Arsène Lupin III's closest friend, right-hand man and skilled sharpshooter, Jigen can perform a 0.3-second quick-draw, providing pinpoint accuracy that borders on near superhuman abilities. The more pragmatic member of the group, he has a cynical streak a mile long and a temper to match if you provoke him enough.
Trivia
He is Bisexual with a heavy but privately kept leaning towards men.
Jigen is the tallest member of the group, but is also the oldest member of it as well, though not by much, being only a few months older then Lupin.
Because of his knack for professionalism, Jigen is often designated as the "big brother" of sorts for the group, and often serves as the voice of reason for much of his partner’s impulsive actions, especially Lupin’s. Despite this however, he is often willing to be laid back enough to go along with most of his partner's schemes.
He and Lupin’s favorite pastime is playing chess or cards with one another.
Much like most of his background, Jigen’s racial origins are often a mystery to many who know him or have heard of him. Because of this, several rumor’s in regards to his past have popped up over the years since his days in the mafia, including some about his racial origins, with the most popular being he is of Japanese descent or at least partially. This however is false, and only Lupin knows his true background.
Jigen’s actual origins despite all the fancy rumors is actually extremely simple. Despite what many may think they know, Jigen is actually an Italian-American descendant who was born in the Bronx and had originally moved to Japan whilst on the lam. It was there he adopted a Japanese identity and name. In a surprising turn of events, this information happened to actually confirm one rumor in particular that his name “Daisuke Jigen” was not his original name at all and was instead a pseudonym instead, as the word "Jigen" is often the conventional Japanese word for "dimension", and not an actual name or a word that is commonly used for one. Despite this, no one knows what his actual name once was or if he still even uses it from time to time, and he doesn’t seem to be willing to spill that information freely. In fact he seems just as content to take it to the grave with him.
His honorific El Lobo was actually coined to him by a Spanish crime family syndicate sometime after officially joining the mob full time. Originally, it was mostly given for his unparalleled hyper-lethality which made him all too famous in the underground crime world as well as his habitual habit of “looming” around in the shadows. The title has since stuck.
Jigen defer’s to Lupin a lot. If someone approaches the two of them for... well, anything really, his response will normally be, “ask Lupin, he’s the boss.” This is often because he just doesn’t like dealing with people even though he probably already knows the response Lupin would make by heart.
While he can be rather dramatic and get it in his mindset that he's not meant to 'settle down' and enjoy life, Jigen, if given the chance, can be the most easy going as well as romantic POS in the vicinity if given the chance to do so.
He was often said to have been an “extremely” awkward kid growing up. While he was not in school for long in the Bronx, during the times he was he was noted for being too silent and too tall for his age and was often regarded as being socially inept. This didn’t change much when he transferred schools and went to Japan.
He actually really despises being a leader. With certain scenarios, Jigen has no problems with just taking temporary leadership over the gang or any other group for that matter if he ultimately has too. But all in all, he’s more of a follower than a leader who refuses to rule over something for a long period of time. Despite being a follower however, he’s not afraid to speak his mind when he feels situations are getting out of hand and will outrightly question certain decisions, not out of stark disobedience, but simply out of concern.
He is the only one out of everyone lupin knows, who knows the truth about The First, and has kept the secret of his whereabouts and identity a secret for Lupin’s sake, even from the others.
While he wasn’t much of a “big time reader” growing up, his favorite book set was actually the “Arsène Lupin” books by Maurice Leblanc. This eventually lead to him being a big Arséne the first fan during his youth. Imagine his surprise when he met the Firsts actual Grandson
While he does not shy from starting loud firefights in public places, he will actively try to ignore civilians or politely tell them to flee in order to minimize innocent casualties and focus more on the target(s).
Does not handle stress well at all. Often disregarding or pushing away his feelings, he has come to develop a plethora of unhealthy coping mechanisms over the years, mainly of the alcoholic variety. Out of all of them, his most normal and healthy is when he goes down to the shooting range/open field away from civilization for hours and where he can unload magazine after magazine until his hands are numb and his ears are ringing.
He knows how to play guitar and he’s surprisingly really good at it. So good in fact that it use to be said he could probably make a career out of it. . .sadly that fell flat.
He suffers from persistent back pain/sciatica due to the same train accident that blinded and scarred his partner. However similar to Lupin, he has learned to deal with the pain in his own ways, which, while not the most conventional, actually help him a great deal.
He has/had 2 extra siblings. He has a sister, as well as had a slightly older brother just a few years older then him who had been tragically killed sometime after Jigen officially started his “work”
He’s actually the one who introduced his sister to her first husband. He regrets having done that. Though he doesn’t regret the niece and nephew he got out of it.
He is a (barely) functioning alcoholic. But thankfully he tends to be a happy drunk when he’s in a good mood, but also a brooding sad drunk when he’s not.
Is actually a school drop out. He never went back to school when middle school ended (Lupin Zero) slowly fiddling out of the school system after the train accident and Lupin’s “death” until he just gave up and started working full time, much to the sad disappointment of Isei.
Goes by many nicknames. Few include Scarecrow, Chief (LIIIRNG), jiji, Mon étoile (Lupin), Wolfie, Tallboy, Stilts.
Jigen is Far-sighted, can still hit his targets with no problem, but if you hand him something to look at you know he's gotta hold it out a bit.
He’s not that much into makeup, but he does have a thing for black nail polish. He won’t wear it during a job though, so he has little opportunity to wear it.
He and his sister are the last of their family line. While they had a lot of family friends growing up, they didn’t have much family. This is also said to be the main cause of the rift between him and his sister due to the years of separation between the two of them, with their last interaction being the situation that happened between Jigen his sister and her ex-husband while their parents were still around. His sisters kids are considered a blessing, meaning that the idea of them having a normal family is still possible.
He has often regarded the years separated from Lupin and the first during his younger adult years as “the worst years of his life”. He regrets having left in the first place, knowing that his life would have been easier had he had just stayed with the old man, seeing as Isei had offered him a job if he wanted it when he got older and had asked him AGAIN shortly after Lupin’s “death” before Jigen had left.
Jigen and Lupin only call each other Daisuke or Arsène interchangeably when situations are dire, the pair have on a “first name” basis with each other shortly after they started working together, and if there’s ever a reason for them to use a name outside of that, it’s a clear indicator that something is terribly terribly wrong and they need to get the point across. As a result of this que, Jigen has become so intuned with things truly going sideways IF and only IF Lupin uses his name “Daisuke”. Even in the times of faking his death, Lupin only ever called him “Jigen”, but the moment he calls him “Daisuke” is when Jigen knows shit is real and that Lupin isn’t kidding around about things cause he’s being formal.
Jigen and Lupin share a matching blood-type while Goemon doesn’t. It has came in handy. Knowing how dangerous and how prone accidents are to happen during jobs, Jigen and Lupin share enough blood between one another that Goemon has taken to calling them “blood-bonded” which isn’t that far off the bat considering how close the two are actually and have been getting over the years. As a side note as Lupin is usually the one taking the brunt end of all the shit that goes on (either by his own fault or someone else’s) it's usually Jigen who ends up on the giving end.
Jigen is incredibly head shy- he doesn't like people touching his head/face unless it's absolutely necessary. But it's not just because of the hat, he just uses that as an excuse. It’s mainly because due to him being a gunman he’s extremely protective about his eye’s. Even the permanent loss of one eye can drastically screw with his depth perception and when your entire life is based around looking down the scope of a gun it’s no laughing matter. So far only lupin has been allowed to touch his head intimately or otherwise because he has the most trust in lupin. Because of this large bond of trust, forehead presses or face touching tend to be drastic indicators of how close the pair are to one another, since it seems only Lupin can get away with doing it. If it's not Lupin, expect Jigen to be tending to his own head-wounds by himself.

Guy with the mad scientist-Fujiko ideas here
I guess my conception of her is a little bit more selfish and ruthless, but i agree that she does secretly care about people, especially her friends (and lovers).
Im kinda into the idea of Fujiko allying herself with the wrong people, and normally she has excellent judgement and knows when someones gonna go too far in their schemes and when they’ll turn on her
But in this scenario, she’s far more desperate and scared than usual, because she has to make sure Lupin and the others survive.
So she just focuses on getting the work done, at any cost, and she’s completely blindsided when the betrayal does happen. She wasnt even aware of how little in control she had until its too late
Ok I wasn’t gonna answer this until I posted up one of the Character Bio thingies I was doing, but now I am actually curious.
How exactly do YOU believe she would react to the betrayal. Besides being blindsided, how do you think she would take the realization that all she has been doing has been in vain, that the person who had been “helping” her was not doing it to benefit her or anything else for that matter, but her own selfish gain. I for one think it would be so ironic considering she does that to the gang on a daily basis.
her realization she had little to no control in this entire situation is such a delicious concept especially when you take into account that the rest of the gang probably isn’t gonna believe her when she says she had no idea that this was gonna happen. She’s used that excuse before in much less dire situations, but imagine her trying to explain to Jigen that she had nothing to do with the betrayal and Jigen just not believing her cause she’s done this before. She’s just gotten lucky no one severely has gotten hurt up until now. Imagine how PISSED Jigen just be with her, cause he just doesn’t believe her. She’s given him no reason TO believe her and now this entire situation is just icing on the cake.
He has half a mind to shoot her, he has every reason too he believes. But he won’t. . .cause Lupin won’t forgive him if he does. He knows how Lupin is with her, it has nothing to do with how he’s sweet on her. It has more to do with Lupin constantly trying to convince him that she’s not that bad. And god he wants to believe that. . ..god does he want to believe that.
Except now he can’t.
Cause he’s got his partner bleeding out in his hands and people shooting at them and of course their people who Fujiko is dealing with. But he won’t kill her. . .he can’t do that. . .he can’t do that to lupin
But if Lupin dies. . . If Lupin doesn’t make it
Well. . .there’s no telling what he’ll do.

what would happen if lupin died in the zombie au
Oh! Hi random anon, thanks for sending this! im assuming your asking what would jigen do when lupin dies or in general so I’ll just discuss what Jigen would do. . .since lupins basically his second half and loosing him would be a killer. Basically the way I look at it is he would try to hold on.
For his sake. . .for lupins he would try.
But when Lupin dies he’s numb, but not numb enough to not sunk to the ground, clutching the body of the only one of a few that meant anything to him. But there’s no weeping when he dies, no grand professions, no nothing.
Because he’s numb. And he’s numb for a while and being numb actually helps a little, because it masks the pain for a little bit.
He doesn’t moved on, but he has learned to cope with tragedies like this before and that would have to do. And it does for a while; he copes, he continues for a while, routine becomes a friend, it helps, keeps his mind off of
(~~joining him~~)
Except the day finally comes, where he decides coping doesn’t work anymore. He would simply fade into obscurity, he decides. He’s good at leaving without a trace, no one would know where he’d go.
The QZ was in good hands and the rest of the City. . .well it would just have to deal.
He knows his nephew will resent him. . .
He knows his sister will hate him. . .
but he’s failed her enough to the point he believes it’s worth it anyways. . .he’s done nothing but fail. . .
Goemon would probably move on, he already distances himself from the group, and Fujiko. . .well. . .he doesn’t know about her. Too much bad blood tells him that she would rejoice over his death, probably dance on his grave if she could. . .and maybe if he had one.
But no one realizes at first that he slips away, that he packed up the best he could, bringing with him rations and ammo and no personal effects, he debates on even taking his hat with him, and his magnum hangs coldly against his back to the point it feels. . .almost unrecognizable.
No one finds him, no one knows where he went. No one knows what truly happens to him, whether or not he drifted into the winds and moved on under a new name like he’s done so many many times before. Or if he does die out there under the sun, either by his own hand or going down fighting cause they know his fight is stronger then his flight.
All anyone hopes for, is that no matter where he is, he’s happy. . .
god they just hope he’s happy

So as i understand it, Lupin and Jigen are on opposite sides, Runner vs Gunner, but theyre running that smuggling operation in secret together
How are they making that work? Does Jigen pretend to shoot at Lupin once in a while? How’s he dealing with people who really are out to kill Lupin?
To say the pair are caught in the middle of a bad situation is an understatement. With Gunners running the place and runners being basically shot on sight no better then what they do to the zombies outside the wall, it’s not a pretty predicament to be in, especially if you’re friends with either side. But if your like Jigen and Lupin, who time and time again have been pitted together more the once in the hopes that their loyalty for each other would falter and one would ultimately finish the other, it’s basically a Tuesday. However while the game of “Spot the similarities” between the two situations is one of the easiest games you can play, in this case, it’s more high stakes.
Because to put it plain and simple, if Jigen didn’t have to work for the gunners he absolutely wouldn’t have. After all, why would you work for the same group of people, who branch from the original section of military that killed your niece? However as we know in todays society, higher ups get benefits, in this case, extra rations, protection, things of that sort. And while he certainly doesn’t want too, he knows he has to for his remaining family. His sister knows the strain of living inside the Q-Zone, much less the strain of working under the boot-heel of a guard who’s duty it is to keep you “safe” but who would rather much go on a power trip. But she doesn’t want to leave. She cant leave. She still has one kid left that she has to watch out for, and even though he’s getting older and despite the fact that people can be scary, the idea of living with a kid of any age outside of relative safety sounds even more paranoia inducing.
Now let’s add Lupin to the mix.
Lupin COULD have gotten a job within the QZ, lord knows he has the skills to do whatever he wants. But he didn’t WANT too. He found the QZ too constricting, too suffocating, too authoritarian for his tastes, especially after the section of the city was subjected to martial law. And knowing Lupin he doesn’t like to do things at half measure. So when the runners were formed shortly after the QZ was founded, Lupin “jumped” (hehe) at the chance to be apart of it, the ability to get out and about, to have fun once again “stealing”. However as time went on and the military started cracking down on what they suspected was “black marketing” it just became all the more fun for him.
“just like back in the old days!”
However this caused a small rift between Jigen and Lupin. Because while Lupin knows why Jigen never leaves the QZ Zone and Jigen knows why Lupin ALWAYS leaves the QZ Zone, they both didn’t really come to an agreement about each others choices with it. Lupin has tried in the past to convince Jigen to leave the QZ with him; to take his family with them and that they can find someplace with a bit more freedom, however Jigen didn’t want to take the chance. He didn’t want to risk putting his remaining family in any more danger.
In the same breath Jigen had tried multiple times to convince Lupin that leaving the QZ zone was too dangerous and that he should stay within the walls. But he also knows that to do that to Lupin would be the equivalency of clipping a birds wings. Lupin needs to move he can’t be stagnant for long periods of time. So he ultimately allowed Lupin his freedom and a place to stay if he needed it (his sister being a nurse helped alot) as long as Lupin tried not to drag him in on his schemes. This quest for “the cure” is the first time in a long while that Lupin and Jigen have been on a “real” adventure together. Up until that point, most of their interactions were sparse, to save each other from the impending consequences should anyone find out about the two of them.
The smuggling operation is really hush hush and no one truly knows how it works due to the secrecy that comes with it. And the secrecy is for good reason. It’s to protect everyone involved. As for how Jigen deals with people actually and actively trying to kill Lupin. Needless to say he hates it, of course he hates it, he despises having to meet his bestest and most closest friend in secret, he hates having to tip-toe around everything, he hates having to pretend he doesn’t know Lupin, or worse pretend to take shots at him while also simultaneously trying to keep his charge from actually killing him.
He himself can never truly and intentionally harm Lupin, but the moment people start to get suspicious is when he knows times up and he has to choose.

Who in the gang is most likely to get turned
Who in the gang is most likely to get turned
Bet you expected me to say Lupin first huh? XD
You would think it would be Lupin, with all his cockiness and bravado and his innate ability for putting himself in danger and getting himself into trouble maybe just as much if not more as Fujiko. And while you WOULD be right which is why I’m placing him high on the list of which member of this little gang would be more likely to get turned, I would actually say Jigen would be more likely to get bit.
And the reason I say Jigen is because in the show we already know he doesn’t think his life is worth it. He’d sooner die then fight for his own life
However, we’ve also seen that when he’s given a reason to fight, he’s more than willing to pick himself up and keep going as best he can until he has nothing left to give. But given the fact, that, at least to me, he also tends to be super self-sacrificial with a tendency to be all too willing to give up his life for his friends/anyone he considers to be a friend, it’s this mentality that always makes me figure that Jigen would be the first to turn, especially in a situation where he would be willing to give up his life for his friends
Sadly it would also be the one moment he ran out of the last bullet to end himself before he turns, leaving him at the mercy of being turned into the one thing he was suppose to save his friends from.

Alright, I'll bite- I wanna know the zombie types :D
Also some pre-emptive questions:
How're they made? If ur bit by a specific type, is that the one you become or are there different environmental conditions that lead to certain types? Or does if have something to do with the person themselves before they were infected?
Thanks for the question!
Environmental conditions can have an effect on the type of zombie produced via a virus. However it mostly pertains on certain denominator’s on what type you will become. Either infected by virus or by parasite, the main factors that usually coincide with the type of zombie you become mostly pertains in what the virus/parasite likes about your DNA, or the environment in which it is in.
For example!
TW for Gore and the Description of Acid Bodily Harm
A Dripper, (Zombifis Vomo), is probably one of the more nastiest and repulsive of the creatures you will encounter on your travels, leaking copious amounts of bodily fluids and quiet frankly looking like someone mistook a vat of acid for a bottle of shampoo and conditioner.
Head and shoulders anyone?
This is a creature who is in some desperate need of some pepto bismol, their digestive acids drastically altering their appearance, melting and merging their flesh into one soupy stretchy water-balloon esq form perfect for producing and storing massive amounts of acid which it can use to spit at targets at a long range distance.
This is also the type of the zombie, who is theorized too exist because of a persons genetics.
Throughout the world many people suffer from a condition known as GERD: Gastroesophageal reflux disease, or as we love to call it Acid Reflux. GERD is a condition in which the person suffers from the overproduction of stomach acids, with some being so bad that the acid actually “melts” or simply wears and erodes the tissues of the esophagus and stomach, causing lesions, ulcers and in some cases even cancer to form in the affected area’s.
In the case of a Dripper, who name comes from the gratuitous amounts of acid that literally drip out of various area’s of this creatures body, the virus will actually use the gene’s responsible for the condition to its own advantage.
Upon infection, the virus will utilize the gene’s responsible for GERD or other such similar conditions, and move them to other area’s of the body more suitable for its means, mostly the lungs, which without the protection of the ribcage, can expand too a pretty massive size with the maximum amount of air an average adult male's lungs can hold being about six liters (that's the same as about three large soda bottles). On average the empty stomach is only about the size of your fist, but can stretch to hold as much as 4 liters of food and fluid, or more than 75 times its empty volume, and then return to its resting size when empty.
With the cells now in a more spacious area, the virus can then morph the gene’s into its own sick and twisted form, allowing for them to start the process of producing acid.
As a result, you get the twisted form of a Dripper; a creature who’s overabundance of acid has literally eaten away much of the facial tissue and connective cartilage, allowing for the creation of Acid-eaten cavities along the throat and frontal torso, as well as the destruction of the ribcage to better allow for the mass production of acid.

i wanna know what ways lupin will suffer in the zombie apocalypse tELL ME NOW
oh hi pav!
ok! I’ll tag @weirdweirm since they asked a question similar to this one as well so I’ll answer at the same time!
Ok the main idea I had I kinda stole from the Last of Us
And no it’s not Jigen getting *hole in one’d* like I joked with my friend xD
Ok so basically one of the main plot lines in LIIIRnG is the “player” is tasked in finding out the whereabouts of a local figure gone rogue who has a file that could be vital data on the virus, which could potentially lead to a cure. Along the way you run into your typical enemies, mutants, crazed cultists, humans, you know the whole nine yard stick.
However as the “game” progresses and you get closer to finding the cure, or at least the basis of one, you begin to realize that not many actually wish for the world to go back to the way it was before the outbreak, with many in reality preferring the “New World Order” so to speak, both good and bad people included.
Because of this, as the story progresses you encounter many enemies on your travels in the run down city and it’s surround territories who wish to put a stop in your attempts at finding a cure. Despite this, you find the data USB containing all the information on the disease that is both known and unknown, as well as the person who originally had it, who is now since dead, having been murdered for his attempt of releasing the information to the public in an effort to stop the infection.
Tasked now with getting the USB back to the local researcher who initially tasked you with retrieving this information in the first place, one such faction group, however, ends up getting the drop on the player (who just so happens to be Lupin and his partner Jigen) just as they get close to home base.
In the resulting scuffle, Lupin is surprised by one attacker and is tackled off a ledge right above a washed out quarry, left over from the years previous construction site. In an attempt to save himself, Lupin deploys the grapple within his watch in order to latch it onto the building in order to stop his fall.
However in a shocking twist, the rope actually snaps, the result sending Lupin careening down into the quarry
. . .right onto a piece or two of exposed rebar, which as a result, impale him through the stomach, leaving him mortally wounded down below in the ditch.
Despite the odds staked against them, Lupin and Jigen manage to make it back to the safe house.
Where, a gut feeling evolves in Jigen’s stomach, that seems to be trying to tell him. . .
that maybe grapple snapping wasn’t an accident after all
