Towa is a little bit confused because plushies aren't a huge part of his life and he never really played much with any.

But receiving anything from you makes him very happy because you're one of his favorite people, so he loves it regardless!!

He loved getting a little chubby bee because bees like flowers and he likes flowers so!! They're basically the same!

Towa likes his new little friend so much that he keeps it on him 24/7, even when he's frolicking in the Jabberwock meadows.

Yes. Yes, he does love plushies. And he is absolutely in love with your gift.

Rich boy who I don’t think would directly get merchandise of you, but he would totally buy things that have your signature color or remind him of you. Very subtle things. I could see him buying one expensive figure of you, but otherwise it’s just subtle things he will proudly wear in public. 

Doesn’t have much time for gaming, so I don’t think he would be playing the mobile gacha games but he will admire the artwork and units of you. 

This is actually a partial truth, he had them at one point but was sinking so much money into your units that Koala had to step in and get him to stop this addiction. 

He’s been doing his best okay… but your alt unit is so tempting he wants to GET IT HE NEEDS TO GET IT LET HIM ROLL ONE MORE ONE MORE ONE MORE- 

Sabo’s phone is now under parental controls and he needs Koala or Dragon’s permission to download or buy any in-app purchases. 

But he’s like, so normal about this, okay? He doesn’t have a problem.

Likes to eat your favorite snacks or food on your birthday as a sort of ‘celebration’ of you. Again, pretty subtle things like buying a dessert you like from that one bakery, or ordering a meal that you ate one time on the show. 

On second thought I could see him having special editions of the manga, but that remains in his office never to be borrowed by anyone. 

Law

Acts like he’s above watching cringe animes when he’s got better taste in his consumption of media like House MD or Scrubs or something. 

But you know, he’s always getting dragged into silly shit with his friends so everyone is forcing him to watch this popular anime with over 1000+ episodes. 

Law feels like performing surgery on himself with no anesthesia at the sheer number of episodes. 

It isn’t until like 400 episodes in when you’re introduced and everyone swears they can see the light in his eyes return and he’s entranced. 

Suddenly this is his favorite show, although he refuses to entertain that. 

He totally has a few figures of you, but when asked, he just yells that they’re Bepo’s and he’s keeping them safe. 

The others know he’s not going to buy merch so they just buy him silly trinkets of you and he tries to keep lowkey and hidden so no one knows about his love for you. 

He’s not the same man he was 400 episodes ago. He still can’t decide if that’s a good thing or a bad one. 

But you’ve invaded and latched yourself into his mind and damn it, he’ll keep you there. 

Shanks 

Cringe but free. 

Buggy got him into this show (Buggy made a slip up once and has tried to deny that he’s liked this series since) and Shanks casually watches a few episodes when he’s free. 

Has a couple of figures that a kid Uta always wants to play with (hell no, put that shit back!!!) 

Lies to Uta whenever she asks who this figure is of and he dramatically will hold the figure of you and tell her this is, in fact, who her other parent is. 

Great job, Shanks, you weirdo. Of course, Uta knows when she’s older that he’s lying out of his ass, but when she was younger she was deadset on meeting you. 

So Shanks was forced to include her in his watches so she can see her ‘other parent’. Shanks makes wild stories when Uta asks why you’re in the TV and says you’re so so cool they just had to make a tv show about you. 

He’s the kind of guy who forgets Uta is a kid and whenever something super violent or adult happens, he goes ‘oops’ after a few seconds and shoddily covers her eyes, to the point she can pretty much still see everything. 

So both of them kinda get in a feedback loop where when he gets something, she wants it, and when she wants to do something, he’ll do it when it comes to you. 

You are a staple in that household. Shanks isn’t the best at maintaining your figures but he does remember to dust you off once in a while (mostly after Uta screams at him to keep it in good condition). 

He’s tried to get into the card game (Uta insisted), but he finds the rules too hard and difficult, so him and Uta made an easier version (which he often lies about to be able to win). 

His luck is crappy too when it comes to the blind packs, so when Uta got the rare card of you he was practically gonna wrestle it out of her. 

He’s also weird and rich enough to get any crazy or out there merchandise of you if he felt like it.

I would like to address a pretty concerning trend I have seen in Ensemble Stars!! fandom for the last couple of days. I will do my best to stay calm, collected and professional for this post, but I am not sure how long will I last, given the severity of the situation.

So let's talk.

As many of you know, Scout! Sweetling Seekers had started on Global server of Ensemble Stars!! just two days ago, and already I was forced to encounter some truly appalling behavior from a lot of fans. Lacking any true appreciation, admiration, understanding and connection with Niki Shiina, they nonetheless pull on the scout banner, as if they are anything but ungrateful, clueless philistines, who do not deserve [Illusory Sweetling] Niki Shiina! They treat him like an extra addition to their overstuffed card collection, like just another cute illustration, some don't even particularly want to get Niki Shiina and try their luck at gacha because they have nothing better to scout for! I see all of your self-masturbatory smug post, the "OMG got him from my first 10-pull" and the "Only spent 7k dias teehee".

Do you even think about how would that affect us, true fans of Niki Shiina? Us, who have spent countless hours grinding, who have poured our hard-earned money into this game, just to see our hopes crushed by the ruthless unpredictability of RNG. Being lucky doesn't make you better. Being lucky doesn't mean you care about him more. Being lucky doesn't mean you deserved to be.

Did the fleeting thrill of seeing your screen light up in rainbow colors make you happy? Accomplished? Or will you just move on to the next shiny thing the second the new scout drops? With the way some of you treat Niki Shiina, I don't think I need to hear an answer to this question.

Niki Shiina is, perhaps, one of the most critically underrated and misunderstood characters in Ensemble Stars!!. People reduce his complex, nuanced personality and backstory to a couple of surface-level jokes, warp him until he's unrecognizable so he can better serve as supporting cast for their faves, flat out ignore most of the canon material about him. Again, you do not care about Niki Shiina, you do not understand him and you definitely do not deserve him.

For me, Niki Shiina is more than just a silly guy from an idol game. He is my favorite character, he is my idol and my inspiration in life, he brings me comfort and helps me love myself for the traits we share. Me and Niki Shiina are kindred souls, and most of you could never understand the connection we share. If there truly is any justice in this world, Niki Shiina will come home on my next pull, while the rest of you posers would get nothing but 3-star trash for the rest of your miserable gaming lives. Hopefully that would teach you an important lesson in staying in your lane.

No joke when I first saw this design in a video with Natlan lore, I legitimately thought the video creator was using some random game to represent Natlan.

To say I’m surprised would be a lie considering how I saw this coming even before Sumeru came out; the moment I read in the wiki that Natlan was inspired from precolonial Latin American and some tribes in Africa, I stopped playing Genshin for around a year.

Often, the moment authors start meshing together countries and regions together, it starts to become… murky and harder to execute with proper acknowledgment to the sources of inspiration. Especially since the thing is… these are two continents oceans apart which did not have significant/apparent enough interaction between each other prior to colonialism.

As a mestizo (mixed) Latino, I cannot speak entirely for the various indigenous populations/groups represented within this one region, but the lack of care for skin tone and respect for the cultures it is based off—it’s sad. It’s depressing for me.

This company and many others are using less represented cultures as exotic and fun cosplay.

A fantasy costume party for their pale-skinned, idealized white characters—parading around names which erases real life deities from people’s immediate knowledge and now are replaced with some gacha-ass looking dude with barely a drop of melanin. Now when I search up Ororon, all I get is that dude, which is not fucking good since the name is of a Yoruba deity.

I want people to actually commit to not playing Genshin and other Hoyo games if they really care to boycott. I’ve been discovering the extent of how the other games are just as disgusting as Genshin; it’s not enough to just boycott one game, if you want to get your message across to a company, do it to all their products.

I’ve seen people say to do it, yet go on and still play.

Do it.

Fucking do it if you actually are enraged by the blatant racism in this game and in this fandom.

Those who are bystanders are just as culpable as the ones who perpetuate it.

NEVER PUT THEM TOGETHER IN A CAR

Thank you for asking, time to ramble (It's so sad I have no mischievous emoji)

To be fair, I joined Reverse 1999 around 1.4, so I'm not from the start of the game. And it's also my very first Gacha game ever so, I hold it dearly.

Reverse 1999 has such a story that, despite being complicated, it drives you in and never stops getting better and better. The element of drama always leaves you wanting more (THAT CLIFFHANGER IN CHAPTER 5 WAS SO UNFAIR) and the characters are so well fleshed out that even the NPCs are lovable. You can see why some characters do what they do, why they do it and also see them maturing as the story goes on.

Vertin is also why this game is my favorite, she's a strong main character who is strong on her own, but is stronger with company. She's exactly what I imagine a strong MC to be, I've seen enough stories and some MCs are not as memorable as others, but the story wouldn't be the same without Vertin. And she's funny! Her dumb silly jokes are such a contrast to her calm and collected demeanor, you can see how she's so silly while being serious.

And the events work to expand the world, to explain more corners of this place you're seeing from other people's perspective, that could be 1.1, the life before the story, 1.8 and how the storm is a real menace and not something you can dismiss. It explores so many characters in such a way that, you might not like them, but they're made in such a way that you have to admit they're unique.

And talking about the storm, it's such a complicated thing that even you, the player, can't seem to figure it out. Every time you know more about the storm, more questions pop up. You're just like the characters, unable to know how to stop the storm. It's something that makes you enjoy the experience because you're not omnipresent or stronger, you're just someone seeing the story through Vertin's eyes, and Vertin is just a little guy, not some goddess or the key to everything (though she might be very helpful to stop the storm)

And they really know how to make a good relationship with the characters. The characters that are obviously shipped together have majestic chemistry (Vila and Windsong are my favorite example, they're not doomed but in the beginning you can tell they're going to get together at some point). And somehow, they manage to make them so unique it's like "Yo what the hell???", You get a Centaur and a 80's horror movie girl, a siren and some pathetic badass girl, this huge nerd and her childhood friend, and so on! They're so fun to describe together.

I think Reverse 1999 is a depressive game superficially but once you drive deeper, it has so many things to say and touches so many subjects in a way that is so easy to digest but also to understand. They put so much love and effort into the game and you can feel it, their characters and the story, the extra content and so much more.

I'm always on the lookout for a good game and I've found it! It's not a perfect game, that's for sure, but it's so easy to love and, at least to me, it will never get boring.

I might have said too much nothing 😓, I get excited when someone asks me about this game that I end up missing the point of the question jeje. Thank you for asking!

Anyways inspired by that 4th Curtis sibling au and Johnny has a sister aus, may I raise you: triplet Curtis brothers. Darry, Sodapop, and Ponyboy are all the same age though a good majority of their interests stay the same.

Darry still doesn’t connect with Ponyboy but it’s mostly because he has the most stress on his shoulders (first born, first to be put into sports, basically everything about him but he learnt it earlier in his life). Sodapop still feels like the middle man, he constantly makes little brother and height jokes at Ponyboy and is more prone to goofing off and being childish. Ponyboy’s the youngest still and he’s just an absolute nerd; constantly reading books and always at the library.

They’re all not sure who they want to be. As young kids, they were only as much as the other. They always had matching outfits, matching hairstyles, matching everything. Three peas put in the same pot. And when they gained individual interests they weren’t sure if they wanted to pursue them because they constantly get jokes about how that’ll make them nothing like the other, or they’re too similar and need to do original things. They love each other, obviously, but being twins is hard, let alone being triplets. They don’t know who they are, and they’re unsure if they ever really want to.

Of course, for this au to work we’d need to age up or age down characters (quick side note: maybe the gang’s ages change depending on the Curtis’s, I dunno). I’d say they would be around 15-17. But with that, a big part of the lore is difficult: their parents death, since a 15-17 year old cannot own a house. So maybe they’re being fostered by people who still live in the area, meaning they still become and stay friends with the gang. Or maybe the Curtis parents don’t die. Who knows! I just needed to get this out and wasn’t sure if I wanted it on my account cause it feels… cringy to me?

I'll like to apologize to people for my disappearance. I've been working on myself, due to some things that appeared in my life, I needed to take time 'offline' from any form of social media but not my gacha games cuz I have a horrible addition and needed to recollect myself.

I've also been working on myself recently. Taking baby steps when needed as I still need to improve myself more. I have a lot of issue but slow and steady wins the race. Kinda. I've been working on my agoraphobia and I think I'm making progress. Maybe. Who knows. Still can't leave the house unless I'm with my family though.

But despite everything; I'm still alive. So, hey. I've missed interacting with you all.

Ima rant about the Minecraft movie cuz I’m bored

First off, I never liked the idea in the first place. I saw it was going to happen and knew immediately it wouldn’t be great. You can’t please the whole fandom. Everyone wants different things, especially with a “story less” game. (MC story mode Ik and the whole ender dragon I know but whatever besides the point)

Then the trailer comes out.

THAT PIECE OF SHIT-

I laughed through it. And not in “haha funny joke” no in “holy shit this is bad” the fucking borderlands trailer was better then this. That movie flopped so hard too.

First off, why is it live action? Animate it.

And if you INSIST on doing live action, at least fucking try. Worst green screen ever. Looked like a green screen kid on YouTube that filmed in his room wiht his brightness up at 11 pm.

Secondly, the outfits are sooo bad. I know Minecraft skins are supposed to be like a free representation or something but WHAT THE FUCK? That just looked horrible. I don’t even have a comparison. Besides didn’t they do the whole “wake up in a video game”? Who the hell wears that in real life, BE HONEST. I’m not one for outfit shaming or anything but seriously.

Adding to that, you ddint even make Steve recognizable. You had to make him SAY HES STEVE. I like Jack Black and all, but wrong choice.

Third. The plot.

They really went for the whole “wake up in a video game” trope. It’s literally jumangi. Again. I don’t even have to say more. There’s no coherent plot at all anyway! What’s the goal! What’s happening that makes this difficult?? WHATS THE HOOK? I could write a better Gacha story than that.

Fourth. The hell was that scenery. Didn’t look like Minecraft. At least try, okay?

And we aren’t discussing the sheep. That was.. bad.

Overall it just looked so unprofessional, like some teens all decided to make a Minecraft movie but worse than that.

And the obligatory apology to Minecraft story mode… I’m sorry for calling you dry and unpredictable, and your better then this. still don’t like the game tho-

ok this is the most complicated series here in a way since its so incredibly mixed.

overall fgo is alright but some parts of it is straight up incredible HOWEVER all of it is seriously held back by being a gacha mobile game and has to work around that limitation

WITCH ON THE HOLY NIGHT

now this is peak. the most gorgeous tm work by far i have to say its simply an incredible read all around. even tsukire did not look or work or sound as good as mahoyo did even tho it came out almost ten(?) years after

on the story front i loved it too with a special shoutout to soujuuro being one of my favorite characters in TM (i say this often not my fault type moon keeps releasing bangers)

however mahoyo has two issues for me:

the story is clearly incomplete: i dont mean its just nonsense or whatever but when nasu said its the first of a trilogy you can just feel that in the story with alot of things being left in the air. this wouldnt be an issue really if mahoyo 2 wasnt basically dead....

i didnt vibe with the slice of life scenes as much as i usually do in nasu works: this isnt a flaw in the story more so i just didnt like em idk how else to word that

mahoyo is a great read however and i highly highly recommend you read it or else

all of the characters are simply chefs kiss. while the visual novel is incredibly dated and the art is even worse you have to understand this is nasu and takeuchis first ever visual novel made on a barely existing budget.

boy do they make up for that.

the vn is split into two with a near side and far side.

while the near side is really good with arcueid and ciels route (ignore how ciel was actually really fucked over even in her own route its laughable and my girl deserved better) the far side is so much more better and really is where the soul of tsukihime and shiki the main character lies

i cba to review it properly besides saying PLEASE READ IT RN or ill cry and you dont wanna see that do you....

what is there to be said about such a masterpiece? what else could be written about fsn that hasnt been written before? i am but an ant in the shadow of the giant that is FSN only seeking some crumbs to feed and live off of. idk what that means but it sounds cool.

FSN is simply tms best work all around. while i prefer tsuki over it and find the tsuki side of TM more interesting FSN overall is much stronger on most fronts but especially its main characters

Shirou emiya is simply the goat nothing else to be said tbh

im not a fan of remaking classics on the level of tsuki. with all its flaws i still find the original to be good enough to not need a remake...

UNTIL I READ THE REMAKE

this is how you do it folks. the story was elevated on nearly every level and if it was the complete story id say its the best ever in existence ever forever fr. its just that good.

there are three things i really want to point out:

while maybe goin overboard i really liked the buffs all the characters received and in general the whole worldbuilding is so much better now with idea bloods and principles and vampire hierarchies and arcueid inflation scenes (heh) its just epic

ciel got a so much better route that actually feels like a ciel route and not just arcueid route 2 electric bugaloo (and getting fucking cucked)

noel is peak

this is peak type moon and when red garden comes out it will be even BETTER especially with satsuki route because satsuki deserves it

there are some other short stories i havent mentioned like garden of avalon, notes, MAGNITUNING (look it up you wont regret it) its all great and worth the time of reading

eventually i wanna play CCC and read some other stuff like maybe prillya DDD, fgo jp like lb7 traum and whatnot

i'm sorry i just wanted to say this but i love yours series but in opposites it's just that i like Rick i really do but then again i feel like Rick kinda didn't really deserve Opal much because for some reason he just tells her to steal someones food and now i know this one was a Gacha life thing from awhile go made by you and i don't know if it's canon or not but if it is the fact he literally didn't know that she didn't know how to swim (and his best friend even knew that she didn't know how to swim) and almost caused her to die and like i don't mind him teasing her but he sometimes overdoes it and know i'm just saying i love your work don't get me wrong but it does have some problem but i do like Opal x Rick it's just that they have some problems and I wanted to let you know how i feel by giving you a bit of criticism with your character

PRELUDE

Seven boys. I am going to love seven boys in this lifetime.

I went to a Chinese temple once when I was 10 because my mother was a hardcore fortune junkie and believed in these superstitions. She made (forced more like it) me come with her to see if I was going to grow up rich or something and while I myself didn’t believe in it, I let her do what she wanted because really at that point in life I never saw myself as anything or anyone once I reached my twenties. 

Not sure if they still have this now, but I inserted a coin in what looked like a gacha machine and pulled out a piece of paper (I vividly remember that I pulled a number 15) which supposedly contained my future and how life would be like for me in terms of health, wealth, love, and everything else. 

It said that I would meet and love exactly six men in my life before I meet the one for me. Back then I never obsessed on boys or the idea of dating in general, but as a young girl, it sparked my interest because the concept of love was something new. I kept that single piece of paper until I graduated college.

ONE. THE FIRST.

Everyone remembers their first. First crush, first date, first hug, the first hand they’ve ever felt, and the first pair of lips they’ve ever touched with their own. 

His name was Park Jongseong. We called him Jay. 

Jay was the perfect first love. He was handsome, kind, lit up the room whenever he entered, valued his friendships, and was the ultimate momma’s boy. I met Jay when I was 13. He was 14, an only child of a business man, learned how to drive at 16, and was the boy of my dreams. 

He was tall, slender, had jet black hair that was often pushed back to show his sharp, manly features. He had a small scar at the top of his nose in between his eyes, and often had a cut in the middle of his lower lip. At first it made him look like a bad boy, someone your mother wouldn’t dream of you ever end up dating. But deep inside, he was kind, caring, and really embodied my love language (which is of course, acts of service). I dedicated literally every Taylor Swift song to him and thought that I was going to love him forever. 

I vaguely remember the day we met, but I do remember the first time I went out with him. I was so impressed by how much he spent on me considering we were just kids and didn’t really get much for a weekly allowance (at least that was the case for me). He was every boy a girl could ever hope their first love would be. He treated me to lunch, held my hand in the movie theater, and I even got my first kiss when he dropped me home that one day. 

“I’ve never done this before.” Because I really hadn’t yet. The closest form of intimacy I’ve ever had were hugs and hand-holding, and most of these didn’t even come from certain “significant others.”

“Just close your eyes.” He seemed experienced. 

Was I supposed to feel embarrassed for not knowing where to put my hands? When should I open my eyes? Should I say thank you afterwards?

See, these are the things I wished they taught us at school. 

And then, in the midst of all this overthinking, our lips touched. 

My first kiss was memorable because we laughed it off immediately after. He asked me how it was and I replied with, “Felt like a rough wilderness, but I guess it’ll feel better later on.” He never let that go because it was the object of literally every inside joke we have among our friends. 

Jay took care of me a lot. He made sure that I ate during lunch and that I received gifts every “monthly anniversary.” He took me to the movies, drove me around, even taking the long ways to places just so we can spend more time sightseeing. He would hold the door for me, carry my heavy bags full of high school necessities, and wipe the sweat off my forehead after cheerleading practice.

We had a lot of fun dating throughout those years, but when I turned 16, I got more and more exposed to school activities, boys in general, and learned more about myself and what I loved doing. Jay was extremely supportive in the things I did, and even if I didn’t get along that much with his mom, he continued to love me as though I was the only woman in his life. 

One fateful morning, I woke up after a busy day at school (we stayed up until midnight for a runway where I had to represent my class and model for the students who helped design clothes based on a theme) and I’m not sure if it was due to exhaustion or the gradual turn of events between Jay and I, but this was something I will always remember even up to this day. 

It was the day I realized that I was no longer in love. 

Going back to that very day, I was so angry, frustrated, and even disgusted with myself for even thinking about dumping my dear boyfriend. My dear, sweet, caring, Jay who treated me like I was glass. But the hardest part of it was accepting the fact that I no longer felt the same. I no longer felt the heat of the sun in my body whenever we touched. I no longer felt the sweetness in the laughs that we shared. I no longer felt the butterflies in my stomach when in fact it used to feel like there was an entire amazon in there. Everything just felt so empty. Was that how it was supposed to feel like? 

I forgot when and at what point I stopped loving Jay, but I knew that he did not deserve me the very moment I even started to doubt my feelings. The night before I finally admitted to myself that I no longer loved him was actually NORMAL. He picked me up from school, we laughed, shared stories, held hands, and even kissed before I hopped off the car when I reached home. Yet, I knew I couldn’t keep these feelings away from him. I couldn’t hide them in the depths of my young heart. I was just too small, and the feeling only grew more as I made every little thing that he did for me a big deal. 

“Did I do something wrong?” He choked. I felt the shock from his voice. He sounded like he felt every kind of negative emotion all at once. 

I took a deep breath and said, “I just don’t think I feel the same anymore.” 

“All of a sudden? Have you been feeling like this for a while?”

“I don’t know.” I really didn’t know. I just knew that even if I was still so young at the time, I spent three years of my young age with Jay. It was my first time ever sharing a huge chunk of my life to someone else. Back then, it felt like a mini-forever. 

It was a 23-minute phone call. 

We broke up that night, and I cried myself to sleep for the first time. 

It was my first heartbreak, and it wasn’t even for a guy who hurt me. He didn’t even try to hurt me. 

Jay lingered for a while. I understood why he held such as a special place in my life and I knew that he was someone my young heart had to experience to know what it was really like to reciprocate a feeling. He was my first leap of faith, my dip in the pool before I dove in, the sweet sensation at the tip of my tongue before I took a bite. I still so clearly remember how he held me the first time we hugged, and the scar he had on his lip when we first kissed. 

I was his first love, and he mine.
