content: boyfriends who would flash their headlights before leaving through the driveway, as their way of saying they love you.
note: i really love the concept & idea of a bf so i wrote this.
ps. i still can’t believe that men aren’t real :c
Tumblr media
It’d become your ritual by now, this endless loop of ‘I love you more’—something you both say especially when you know you’ll miss each other, even if it’s just for a few hours.
And today, was no different.
You leaned against the doorway, still wrapped in the warmth of his last hug, and watched him shoot you that mischievous grin that always made your heart flutter as he walked backwards away from you.
“I’m gonna miss you,” he said, his voice softer than his grin suggested as he took another few steps back.
Laughing, you said his name fondly. “We’re literally seeing each other again soon in like… five hours.”
“Yeah, but that's like…” he gently shook his head like you didn’t understand. “…forever.” he added, a small feigned frown forming on his face after.
You rolled your eyes playfully, but with a soft smile, you reminded him, “What matters is that at the end of the day, you’ll be back in my arms.”
And just like that, his expression softened, eyes warm as he took in those words.
“Fine… I love you.” he said as he was taking another step back, and by now, it’s instinctive — so with a sly smile, you fired it right back at him, no hesitation. “Mmm, I love you more.”
He let out a breathy laugh, shaking his head once more as he started toward his car, already knowing where this was headed. “Okay, you know I’m not gonna let you win this one, right?”
“Oh, you just keep telling yourself that babe,” you teased lightly, a warm laugh slipping out.
"Only ‘cause it’s true,” his grin widened as he opened the car door. But before getting in, he lifted his hand to draw a quick heart over his chest, then pointed back at you as his way of saying—it’s all yours. And just to make sure you knew, he added, “That means I love you more."
He got you there, you couldn’t lie. Shaking your head, you decided to let him think he had the last word by nodding and even giving him a little wave as he climbed into the car. Once he settled in, you made a quick and small ‘buckle up’ gesture to remind him to, and he caught it right away. Through the windshield, you could see him mouth a ‘oh oops—yes, ma'am’ before that. And you noticed he never took his eyes off you as he clicked it in place, giving you a double thumbs-up with a boyish grin after.
Still smiling, you lifted your hand, making a little phone gesture by your ear—another silent reminder for him as you also mouthed a, ‘Call me when you get there, okay?’
He laughed, nodding exaggeratedly, as if he had no intention of forgetting as he started the engine. Already, you could feel that warm tug in your chest, the one that happens when you start missing him.
As he starts backing out onto the road, you couldn’t help it — you thought it softly, adding his name with those three words.
And then, as if he somehow heard you, his headlights flashed one—two—three—four times at you with a smile and a wave, just before he fully backed out from the driveway to the road. A quick, unmistakable, quiet message of:
‘I love you too.’
As you stood there waving back to him, your heart grew full when you processed it, a peaceful, quiet joy filling you as you watched him go.
The moment was so tender, because he was pretty much saying, ‘I’ll always find a way to say it back.’
And honestly, you wouldn’t have had it any other way.
After his car had disappeared down the road, you headed back inside the house, settling onto the couch—that same small panging feeling of missing him coming back again. When suddenly, an impulse struck, and with a smirk, you whipped out your phone to quickly type out:
⊹ don’t think i’m letting you off that easily tho babe 🤑 i still love you the most 👩‍❤️‍💋‍👨
Seeing your text at the next stoplight, he smiled to himself like a fool.

AND I JUST REALIZED THIS IS MY FIRST LINO FIC OMG THIS IS A MOMENT IN HISTORY
❥❥❥❥❥❥❥❥❥❥❥❥❥❥❥❥❥❥❥❥❥❥❥❥
All day, the silence in the house seemed to echo with Minho's absence, each tick of the clock stretching the worry tighter across your mind. The morning had started off on the wrong foot, with Minho oversleeping- a rare occurrence which in turn threw off his whole routine. The rushed breakfast, the hasty goodbye—everything felt off-kilter. It was unlike him to be late, especially for his job at the veterinary clinic, a place he often described as his second home, where he could merge his passion for animals with his skills in care and healing. The hurried departure left a cold space in the wake of his frantic energy.
The argument from the night before added layers to your concern. It was one of those disagreements that seemed trivial in the light of day, yet in the shadow of the night, it had grown into a monumental barrier between you two. It wasn't just the words exchanged or the silence that followed, but the unresolved tension that lingered, making the air heavy with unsaid apologies and unexpressed affections. The fact that Minho had been irritable even before the argument didn't help, it only amplified the discomfort, casting a shadow over his usual bright demeanor.
As the day dragged on, you found yourself glancing at the clock, counting the hours until Minho's return. The thought of him dealing with the stress of work on top of everything else weighed heavily on you as guilt settled in. It wasn't just the worry for his mental state, but also the longing for reconciliation. You knew the importance of mending the rift, of clearing the air with conversations that bridged the gap between hurt and healing. The thought of him walking through the door, the opportunity to start anew, to offer a smile as a peace offering, became a beacon of hope in the slow march of the day. But as you continue to relive the argument you can’t help the pang of sorrow that strikes your heart like lighting, complimenting the storm of emotions whirling about your being.
The dispute sparked when you casually asked him about his day. To you, it was a simple question, but Minho perceived it as intrusive, deeming you "too clingy" and expressing his exhaustion with what he viewed as your constant nagging.Since then you’ve been running yourself into the ground trying to get as much stuff around the house as you can. If Minho comes home to a clean house, you think, then there’ll be one less reason for him to be irritated with you.
The sound of keys jingling faintly outside the door interrupts your thoughts. You had just finished cooking dinner and were plating it just in time as Minho to strolls in.
“Mm,“ he hums in approval as he wraps his long arms around your waist, gently tugging your back to his front. He rests his chin on your shoulder as he speaks, “Smells good, baby. Thank you.” You hum and nod, not sure what to do. He was just complaining about you being clingy but here he is, swaying you side-to-side. Minho clearly sensed your apprehension and pulled back with a sigh. “Why am I getting the silent treatment?”
You aren’t sure how to respond to that. You weren’t purposefully trying to ignore him, you’re just confused and you don’t know how to voice that. “I’m not giving you the silent treatment,” you turn around towards him and lean back against the kitchen island, using your hands to brace yourself.
Minho hums and folds his arms over his chest. He raises a brow, wanting you to continue. You huff and tip your head back for a moment before looking directly at him. “I’m sorry, I just don’t want to come off too clingy.” Your tone came off a little harsher than you’d planned and you watch as his expression shifts into something more serious, guilty even.
“Shit, baby I- I didn’t mean it, you know that. I shouldn’t have said it and-” You shake your head, effectively cutting him off.
“It’s fine, I’m fine. It’s just-”
His eyes begin to soften as he inches back into your space. “Hey. Hey,” Minho murmurs as his hands find purchase on your shoulders in an attempt to provide at least some semblance of comfort. He’s always been the type to have some sort of contact when talking to you like this. It makes it feel more personal, more sincere, especially when he ends up apologizing. “Don’t do that, you know I hate it. I’m the one who should be sorry, okay? I’m sorry, I was just stressed and I know that isn’t an excuse.”
“I shouldn’t have pushed you, I made you upset.”
Minho shakes his head. “I want you to ask about my day, I want you to show that you care. It makes me feel important. You make me feel important.” You pull your lip in between your teeth, a nervous habit you picked up as a child.
"Are you sure? Because I will-" Minho clicks his tongue and leans his forehead against yours, his brown eyes sparkling.
"I never want you to feel insecure about anything I say, regardless of what it is. I understand I can be hot-headed, and I'm working to fix that, but I want you- I need you- to tell me when I’m doing something that’s upsetting you. I love you and I promise you I didn’t mean any of it.” He presses a soft, chaste kiss on the tip of your nose with a smile. The action makes your stomach erupt with butterflies and you know everything will be okay. You’ll always bounce back and find your way back to each other.
Minho looks down and locks his pinkys around yours before looking back up at you. “You okay now?” You nod and lean against him further with a content sigh.
“I love you too, Min.” Minho begins to open his mouth to say something but you beat him to it.
“Even if you’re a dick sometimes.” You say with amusement laced in your tone and a grin.
“I guess I’m lucky you put up with me then.”
“Now you’re getting it,”

happy 69 guys!! this was originally gonna be a dom! Widow w predator/prey vibes but i honestly couldn’t finish writing it lmao. i like this one a lot better tho and what could be better than the blackwatch sandwich? hope you guys enjoy <3
Tumblr media
“Oh, c’mon,” you take a sip of your drink, the alcohol burning your throat. “You guys really think you have more game than me?”
Genji shakes his head and laughs, leaning across the bar table that the three of you are sitting at. The bar isn’t busy, but that’s to be expected of a Sunday night. Aside from a few older men and some rowdy college kids, you, Cass and Genji are the only ones in there.
Cassidy stretches his arms across the top of the booth, his hand falling just above your shoulder. “Hey, I got game!”
“You grew up with Reyes in an Overwatch facility—you’re practically a shut in.”
The cowboy rolls his eyes, feigning offence at your comment. He adjusts his arms, fingertips brushing your arms. You shiver under his touch, electricity coursing through you.
“And me?” Genji asks, dark eyes meeting yours. There’s a glint of mischief behind them that makes your heart beat faster.
“You…” You narrow your eyes at him as if deep in thought, “I could see you having game back in the day.”
“But not now?”
You take another sip of your drink. “Nope.”
Cassidy laughs, “well you ain’t got much game either, y/n. I can’t remember the last time you brought someone home with you.”
You glare at the cowboy, only turning your gaze away when Genji says: “he has a point.”
“If I wanted to take someone home with me, I would.”
“I’m sensing a but,” Genji says.
“I don’t think you sense any butts.”
Cassidy howls in laughter, slapping his hands on the table. Genji rolls his eyes at you and takes a sip of his sake.
“I have my eyes on someone,” you shrug.
More like someones. The truth is, you haven’t had any time to date, much less have sex. And when you were given the time, there were a few coworkers who you couldn’t stop thinking about. Specifically the ones in front of you. Still, you’d never admit it. If Cassidy found out you had never had sex, you would never hear the end of it.
Cass leans closer, whiskey on his breath. He wraps an arm around your shoulders. “Oh yeah? And who might that be?”
“None of your business,” you shrug him off.
A waitress comes by and asks if you want another round of drinks. You order your usual, tapping your fingers on the table to the beat of an old rock song playing over the bar speakers.
You can’t help but notice the way Cassidy’s eyes fix on the sway of her hips as she walks away. There’s a pang in your chest at the sight.
The words tumble from your lips before you can stop them. “I bet you couldn’t get a girl in bed tonight if you tried.”
“I’ll have you know, I’ve gotten plenty of women in my bed.”
Genji laughs, “yeah? Have you kept track?”
“Nine.”
You fake gag at the cowboy’s words. Typical men keeping track of their scores. Your eyes meet Genji’s and a burning question forms in your mind. “What about you?”
“When I was younger? Too many,” he admits.
You try not to let the bitter taste of disappointment seep into your mouth. Of course they’ve both had sex with other people, you’re the weird one for being an adult virgin.
“Not so snarky now, are we?” Cass teases, “are you counting them in your head right now?”
You’re no longer in a joking mood, standing up and slipping on your jacket. “I’m tired, I’m gonna head back to the hotel. I’ll talk to you guys in the morning, ‘kay?”
You don’t let them speak before grabbing your purse and heading out of the bar door. It’s cold outside, but the alcohol in your veins makes it seem much warmer. There’s a slight drizzle, the cold rain running down your cheeks and nose.
Luckily, the hotel you’re all staying at is right across the street. It was almost tradition for the three of you to stick around one extra night after a Blackwatch mission, getting drinks and sightseeing before you have to go back to work. It’s kept you sane all these years, but it’s only fueled the feelings you’ve harboured to the other agents.
You step into your hotel room and immediately drop your purse to the floor and slam your keycard onto the dresser. Your feet ache when you take them out of your shoes, and you’re all too happy to lay in your bed and watch television.
You browse for something to watch, anything to take your mind off of the aching in your chest and the bitterness on your tongue. You decide on an old movie about fighter pilots, something Reyes probably would have made you watch.
You change out of your day clothes, pulling your phone out of your pocket and setting it on your night stand. You exchange your tight pants for pyjama ones and your shirt for a baggy Overwatch shirt that got mixed up in your laundry ages ago.
You settle into bed, watching the movie and ignoring your phone lighting up every few minutes.
Genji sighs when he calls you for the fifth time, slamming his phone down on the table. “Still no answer.”
“I must’ve really struck a nerve,” Cass says bitterly. “I don't even know why.”
“We’re thinking about this all wrong. Y/n got upset when we brought up past partners so…she’s either ashamed of hers or—“
Cassidy finishes his thought with wide eyes, “or she’s never had any.”
Suddenly everything clicks into place. The overcompensating, the snark to your tone as soon as the subject was brought up. You’d never introduced a partner to them, you’ve never even brought someone to the Overwatch holiday party.
Genji feels stupid for never realising it before.
But with their realisation of your lack of partners came another one.  The way you subtly glanced at Genji when you said you had your eyes on someone. Was he the reason?
“I-I need to go talk to her,” Genji is on his feet before he’s finished speaking, pulling his hoodie over his shoulders.
“Woah, slow down there. Don’t you mean we need to go talk to her?”
“I think,” he takes a deep breath, “I think she was talking about me when she said she has her eyes on someone.”
Cassidy laughs. “That saké of yours must have really gone to your head. She clearly meant me when she said it.”
It’s the ninja’s turn to stare in disbelief. Classic Cassidy, he thinks, to assume every woman in the world loves him. Still, he can’t help but wonder if he’s imagining it all. If the alcohol really has gone to his head and amplified the feelings he harbours for you, turning it into something it’s not.
“Okay,” Genji keeps his tone even. “We’ll both go.”
“Okay.”
Despite their words agreeing, their views don’t, and everyone in the bar can feel the tension between them. Even while they walk across the street, frustration radiates around them.
Cassidy is the one who knocks on your door, gently shoving Genji out of the way so that he’s centred in the doorframe. Genji sighs at his colleague’s antics, nudging him ever so slightly so that he’s standing by his side.
You open the door in your pyjamas, raising an eyebrow at the pair. “Can I help you?”
“Y/n—,” Genji’s voice is gentle.
“We know you’re a virgin.”
Genji steps on the cowboys steel toes, punishing him for his brazenness. Your eyes widen at his words and you find yourself taking a step back from them.
“It’s nothing to be ashamed of, y/n,” Genji steps into your hotel room, shoving past Cassidy.
“I-I’m not ashamed,” your face is burning.
Cassidy steps in next to Genji, letting the door close behind him. “Then why’s your face so red, hm?”
“It’s just—really hot here and I’m tired and you guys should go!”
Genji places a hand on your waist. “Y/n, it’s just us, you don’t have to be afraid.”
“That’s exactly why I’m afraid.”
They speak at the same time, “because you like me?”
You’re practically on fire now. Your head is spinning so fast you can’t tell what way is up, and you’re sure your knees will buckle at any moment. You blink a few times, shrinking under their gazes. Your heart speeds up and suddenly you’re pitching forwards.
“Woah, cowgirl!”
Genji, quick as always, moves his arm around your waist and catches you before you can even fall. He snakes his other arm under your legs and carries you to the bed, sitting you at the edge.
You put your head in your hands. “I never wanted you guys to find out.”
“It’s okay to feel this way,” Genji pulls a hand from your face.
Cassidy copies the cyborg but his touch is far less gentle. “We’re not gonna judge you.”
“It’s not!” You take a deep breath, almost choking on your words, “it’s not right for me to want both of you.”
Silence falls over the room. You sit there and wallow in your shame, too scared to breathe too deeply or move your hands out of theirs. You just want them to forget you’re there for a while.
Genji glances at Cassidy over your head. The cowboy cocks an eyebrow and smirks slightly, and the cyborg blushes at what he knows he’s thinking.
Cassidy’s metal hand moves from your hand to your jaw, tilting your head so that you’re forced to look at him.
“What are you—,”
You’re cut off when his warm lips smash against yours. His touch immediately rekindles the fire inside of you, butterflies erupting in your stomach. He pulls away with a smirk, leaving you breathless.
You don’t have time to properly process the kiss before Genji’s hand is on the back of your neck, turning your head to him and guiding your face towards his. He leans in, pressing his soft lips to yours. You melt into his touch, burning up beneath his fingers.
You’re left wide eyed and gasping for air when he pulls away. “I don’t…I don’t understand…”
“Sh,” Cassidy places a hand on your thigh, rubbing up and down, “let us take care of you, okay?”
“But—,”
Genji shuts you up by pressing his lips to yours again, slipping his tongue into yours this time. You don’t fight back, desperate to have him. You can taste the alcohol on his breath but it only makes you want more. His hand reaches up to tangle in your hair, pushing you closer to him.
Cassidy moves his hand farther up your thigh, brushing his knuckles against your throbbing core. You clench your legs around his hand, desperate for any sort of friction.
“So needy,” he teases, moving his hand beneath the hem of your shirt. “Be patient, darling.”
You whine against Genji’s mouth, making the cyborg pull away. He gives you a lopsided grin, his cheeks just as pink as yours surely are.
Cassidy tugs your shirt over your head, grinning when he sees you’re not in a bra. You expect him to make a comment, but he’s too busy staring at your bare chest. You glance at Genji only to realize he’s doing the same. Their eyes on you makes you self conscious and you find yourself moving to cover up.
Cassidy catches your wrists in his hands. “Not so fast,” he tuts, and moves in to kiss you.
You relax against him but only for a second before you feel Genji’s lips on your neck. His touch is gentle but with just enough pressure to make you whine and sent electricity down to your core. His teeth graze your collarbone and you moan into Cassidy’s mouth.
The cyborg smiles against your skin, dead set on making you moan again. He kisses down your chest, kissing around your nipple before finally attaching his lips to it.
You squirm, arching your back and moaning against Cassidy’s mouth. “G-genji,” a trail of saliva leaks from the side of your mouth as Cass pulls away.
“So pretty,” he mumbles into your tit, teeth grazing your nipple as he speaks.
You whimper, grinding your hips against the bed. Cassidy knows just what you need, and slips his knee between your legs before moving his lips to your other tit.
You cry out at his added touch, grinding your wet pussy against Cassidy’s thigh.
“Fuck,” he groans. “She’s so wet I can feel it through my jeans.”
Genji looks up at you, letting your nipple fall from his mouth. “You like this, baby?”
You can only nod, both boys chuckling at your dishevelled state. They can’t help but admire how cute you look with your rosy cheeks and messy hair and the drool around your mouth.
Genji moves up to kiss you again while Cass slips down your pants. He’s pleased when he sees how soaked your panties are and quickly tugs them off of your legs. Your bare, glistening pussy greets him and he moans at the sight.
So tight, it’s not hard to remember that no one’s ever touched you before. He rubs one of his fingers up your slit, poking your clit ever so slightly. You immediately react to his touch, whining and thrusting your hips forwards. More juices gush from you.
“God, she’s so wet Gen,” he moans. “You gotta take a look at this.”
The ninja pulls back, staring at your perfect little pussy with his jaw dropped. His jeans suddenly feel too tight and all he wants is to bury his length inside of you.
Cassidy rubs his thumb across your clit. “Does that feel good, darling?”
You bite your lip and throw your head back, nodding furiously. Genji lays next to you, wrapping an arm around your thigh to pull it apart from your other one and open them up for the cowboy. His lips connect with your neck once more.
Cassidy dips a finger into your dripping pussy, sinking right in. He groans at how well you take him, and slowly moves it in and out of you. He moves his other hand to play with your clit, pinching and twisting it in tune with your whines.
He slips another finger in, stretching you out around him. He pushes them all the way up to the hilt, curling them inside of you. You whine, arching your back and trying to close your legs around his hand to get more, but Genji’s grip is too tight.
“Patience,” he mumbles into your neck.
You can feel his hard cock rubbing against your hip, the cyborg desperate for more friction. You rub your hand up his thigh and over the bulge, shuddering at how hard it feels.
Genji shivers under your touch, opening his mouth to ask what you’re doing and closing it as soon as you unzip his pants. He helps you tug them down until they pool around his ankles.
Your mouth practically waters at the outline of his cock through his boxers and you reach up to trace your fingers across it. Genji whines, propping himself up on his knees to give you better access.
You slip your hand into his waistband and grip his length, slowly dragging your hand up and down his dick. He thrusts against your hand, desperate for more. You tug his boxers all of the way down, letting his cock spring free. It looks a lot bigger than it did in his pants, and the sight makes you clench your thighs.
You spit into your hand and rub your saliva up his shaft, getting him nice and wet so you can rub your hand up and down it. Genji is mesmerised by you jerking him off, and he wants more.
You wet your lips, getting ready to take him into your mouth. Before you can, you feel Cass start to suck on your clit while he adds an extra finger. You moan loudly, Genji taking this as an opportunity to push his cock into your mouth.
His salty taste overwhelms you and you find yourself pushing your head down to take more. He wraps his fingers in your hair and holds it back, using it to guide you up and down.
Cass continues his assault on your pussy, lapping the juices that gush from your hole with every thrust of his fingers. Your poor, swollen clit being sucked and licked at with no end in sight.
You moan around Genji’s length, forcing yourself to take more of him. The cyborg can’t help but thrust into your mouth, forcing even more of his cock into your throat. You gag around it and the sounds make him moan even more.
There’s a knot building in your stomach and you know you won’t last much longer. You grind your pussy against Cassidy’s face, desperate for more. The cowboy gladly gives it to you—fucking his fingers into you even faster than before.
Your whines grow more and more desperate, drool leaking out at the space between Genji’s cock and your mouth. The cyborg watches as it drips down your chin and onto the peaks of your tits and wishes it was his cum coating you instead.
Cassidy curls his fingers inside of you and you come undone. Your body tenses, your eyes roll back. Genji let’s his cock fall from your mouth, watching you with loving eyes as you cum on Cassidy’s face.
Cassidy takes every drop of cum that you give him, lapping up your juices as they coat his chin and lips. He pulls back with a smirk, moving in to kiss you. You whine at the taste of yourself on his lips.
“Now that you’re nice and stretched out,” he says, “why don’t you let Genji fuck that sweet pussy?”
You nod vigorously, your pussy already drenched at the thought. Genji shifts so he’s kneeling between your thighs, the head of his cock rubbing against your clit. His length is already glistening with your spit, but he collects your juices on his cock just in case.
Genji locks eyes with you. “Are you sure?”
“Y-yeah.”
You don’t have to tell him twice. He sinks the head of his cock inside of you, and the stretch makes you whine. It’s slightly painful but the fullness it brings is the best thing you’ve ever felt.
You tug Cassidy in for another kiss, using his lips to distract yourself from the sting of Genji’s cock bottoming out inside of you. He stays still once he’s all the way inside of you, letting you adjust to his size.
You pull away from Cass to whimper a quick, “move, please.”
Genji can do nothing but oblige. He slowly pulls out before pushing back into you slowly, trying to keep his pace gentle and even while you get used to it. You can feel the throbbing of his cock inside of you and it only makes you whine and thrust your hips against him.
You’re so distracted with Genji that you don’t even notice that Cass has discarded his pants and has his hard cock in your face.
He rubs his cock head across your lips, “how’s about putting that pretty little mouth of yours to good use?”
His cock is thicker than Genji’s, and you’re worried that you won’t be able to take it all. You open your mouth and stick your tongue out, letting him slowly push his cock into your mouth. He has more of a taste than Genji and you find yourself savouring it.
Genji picks up the pace as if to remind you that he’s still there, smashing his hips against yours with every thrust. You suck harder on Cassidy’s cock, your moans catching in your throat and vibrating against his length. You can tell he’s holding back, but you don’t know why.
Genji flicks his thumb across your clit, and your orgasm washes over you. Your pussy clenches around his cock and he’s sent over the edge with you, your tight pussy milking his cock for all its worth. You can’t help but whine at the feeling of his hot cum inside of you, filling you up all the way.
He pulls out at the same time as Cassidy, forcing a gasp from your lips. Cum pools between your legs, dripping down your thighs and Genji’s cock.
“How was that?” Genji asks.
“S-so good.”
You can barely speak, the overstimulation washing over you in waves and practically drowning you. Genji laughs at the fucked out expression on your face, laying down next to you and pulling you so your back is on his chest.
You don’t realize what’s happening until Cassidy is between your legs. “Think you can do one more?”
You nod, the idea of being fucked full of both of their cum too good to pass up.
Genji kisses your cheek, “that’s our girl.”
Cassidy pushes inside of you slowly, your saliva and Genji’s cum acting as a lubricant. The stretch stings slightly, but it goes away quickly. Cassidy bottoms out inside of you quickly, making you cry out when the tip of his cock brushes against your cervix.
“C-Cass!”
He pulls out and slams back inside of you, making you squeal at the friction. Genji plants kisses up your neck and shoulders to calm you down, his fingers working at your nipples.
Cassidy leans against you, pushing your thighs up against your tummy in a mating press. He’s desperate, fucking into you so fast and so hard you can barely keep track. Your head is dizzy from your orgasms and everything is so hot and so sensitive.
With the way the cowboy is fucking you like you’re his last and the way Genji is toying with your nipples, you know you won’t last much longer. Based on the way Cassidy’s cock is twitching instead of you, you know he won’t either.
Genji pinches your nipples and Cassidy slams his hips against yours again and you come undone. Tears leak from your eyes as your pussy gushes out around his cock, your whole body spasming. Genji holds you tightly through your orgasm, rubbing your shoulders and whispering reassurance in your ear.
Cassidy cums right after you do, thrusting into you one last time to get his cock as deep as possible. Hot cum floods inside of you, mixing with Genji’s and filling you up completely. He continues fucking into you through your orgasm, waiting to pull out until all of his cum has been fucked into you.
When he pulls out, their cum gushes out of you, dripping down your thighs. He gathers it on his finger and pushing it back inside of you, laughing at the way you squirm from his touch.
He pulls his finger out and slips it into your mouth, letting you suck off the mixture of your cum, his cum and Genji’s cum. The taste barely registers, your senses dull in your fucked out state.
Cassidy plants a kiss to your forehead, smoothing your sweaty hair back. “Such a good girl.”
“Our good girl,” Genji adds.

Peaceful property is a bl even if it's not. It's also about so many other things although not really delivering on a consistent message.
I thought about adding my thoughts to this thread but it was getting long and I started to get sidetracked so I decided to just make my own post about it and share my thoughts on it. @lurkingshan @bengiyo and @twig-tea all made good point about why this show is faltering with its own themes, and @respectthepetty made a compelling argument that the show knows what its doing.
I think no one is wrong and I land somewhere in the middle with it. As in, depending on what I choose to care about. Much like @respectthepetty, I am bias about this show. For different reasons tho. I like Tay and New a lot so I lead with that instead of my critical thinking. just as a personal aside, I tend to do this when my brain and heart don't align. I ignore when my brain tells me that the show is doing something wrong so that I can enjoy the rest. This works particularly well with QL for some reason. I am after all a person who liked Dangerous Romance even when my brain kept trying to damper my enjoyment with logic. And also sometimes I'm a hypocrite and there's no reason for why I like a show and not another. Ok, there's usually a reason but it's most often not a good one, or a rational one at least. That's just how it is.
Anyway. Because of all the excellent points made by that post I decided to fully engage my brain and I've been thinking about what this show is trying to say and I agree that unfinished business is the main thing in the ghost stories but I would have to shut off my brain completely to not see how class factors into all of it as well.
The ghosts up until now, except the chef, were all lower class and one can argue that it played a part in how they died or what happened after. I'm not including episode 7 for reasons that I will explain in a bit. Even if Ride's unfinished business was about love, the fact that he was the only rider doing deliveries in the rain, at least to me, read as he was driven by the need to make money in the first place. Even in the chef's case, the customer that Peach basically poisoned was rich and it was a part of the headlines about it and the reason for the restaurant getting shut down. Also most of the individual stories didn't get deep into these issues, case of the week usual issues, but it was always an underlying theme. Also as @twig-tea said all the parallels work even better because this disparity also exists between Home and Peach.
All this gets me to how I started this post. This is a bl even if it isn't. The choice to include the tragic bl storyline in the middle of this, in my own brain, can only be explained if I believe this is a bl. (The tragic bit was thematically consistent with this show.) Specifically a gmmtv bl. Cause ultimately they have a tendency to forsake narrative consistency if it stops serving the main romance. It's also the only way I can explain having a bl pair mirroring the other bl pair on screen. So in that way it's consistent with gmmtv. Just brush aside anything that can get in the way of the couple not having a happy ending. This is also how I explain my biggest issue with it. Pangpang. She's the shipper. She's been the shipper from basically the start.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Home basically killed her brother, why would she be the driving force in getting him forgiven? Because of my previously admitted bias, I forgave Home almost immediately. It's New and he didn't mean it, it was an accident and he wanted to call for help and do the right thing but his family interfered and.... I could come up with a lot of reasons because I want to forgive him. So everything else can be ignored. But all this obviously doesn't apply to Pang. So it can only be the bl in the not a bl show.
Now, on full brainy mode, this last episode makes no sense with everything else this show has been saying until now. They used a branded pair to ignore any class disparity between our mains, since the last ghost story didn't really parallel that, and over the forgiveness part, and jump straight into Peach has forgiven Home and will probably now become his saviour. Don't even get me started on the fact that Peach is still broke but saving the rich dude that turned his life to crap will be the most important thing right now. I wonder if gmmtv has ever ignored class disparity between a main couple and instead focused on the richer dude's drama while ignoring the struggle of the other one, all in favour of the main romance and lovey dovey moments 🤔. But I guess I'll reserve full judgement on that until the next episode.
yeah, so basically this is where I am at with this show. My two sides are fighting but come next wednesday my brain will take the back seat for 45 minutes so I can enjoy Tay and New and after that maybe I'll think about it some more.

What we use to be..
Tumblr media
Pairing: Jasper x Implied Nonbinary/Male reader (Not really specified but like its a major plot point here that the reader isn't a woman)
Rating: None
Type: Angst to fluff
Tumblr media
"Get away from me. I never wanna see you again" The words. His tone. The hatred in his eyes. It still haunts you to your core, even tho it was centuries ago. You'll never forget the way he made you feel that night. You pleaded with him, asked him to give you a reason to his sudden coldness; but he didn't answer. All he did was slam the door in your face and cast you aside, like some poor rabbit you drained the blood of. Now centuries later, you move to a new area. Pretending to be a high school student. You just needed to leave your last home, throwing away everything that you kept to remember him by; all but one thing. A locket he gifted you with a picture of him in it. The picture is old and faded now, yellowed and on the verge of withering away but you keep it dearly, can't bring yourself to part with it. It clings to your neck like a lifeline, you sometimes fidget with it out of habit.
You sit in your classroom alone, the bell hasn't even rang yet but you stare out the window; watching as rain drops race each other to the window sill. Students start pouring into the class, taking their seats. You look over to see a girl with long brown hair sits next to you. She smiles at you and waves awkwardly.
"I'm bella" She says, laying her notebooks down on the desk. You smile at her and raise your hand to her. She takes it.
"Im (Y/N), I just moved here" You state. She chuckles a little and gives you a jokingly weird look.
"out of all places to move, you pick forks? this place is like the last place I'd wanna move" She says, tucking her hair behind her ear. You look away from her and sigh.
"I needed a fresh start, and I quite like the doom and gloom of this place" You half joke, turning to her and smiling wide. You don't know what it is about this girl, but you like her. The bell rings just as the teacher steps in the room, ending yours and Bella's playful chatter.
By the time Lunch rolls around, you're hanging by Bella and her friends. They seem to take a liking to you immediately. You like them also, they bring a nice aura around that you need. That is until, you feel eyes on you. You look around to see gold eyes staring at you. Bella looks over with you.
"Don't mind him, that's my boyfriend Edward" She explains, slowly waving at him. He waves back. but you're not really paying attention him. If you had a heart, it would've stopped again. There sitting next to Edward, was Jasper. He has a pretty brunette attached to his arm, he looks happy. You feel a pang in your chest at the thought, he's over there happy and you can't get over him. You grab a hold of the locket on your chest, rubbing the metal on it to calm yourself. You look away from him, missing the way that Edward gets his attention.
"Do you know them?" Edward asks him, pointing to you. Jasper looks over and thinks. You lift your head a bit to look at Jessica as she compliments your locket. Jasper's eyes snap to it, it looks so familiar to him; yet he can't place it. Then he sees it, the big J carved into it messily. His mouth falls open slightly and he stands up. His chair scrapes the floor slightly and it catches the attention of your whole table. You and Jasper make eye contact, he has no doubt that it's you. You still look the same as the day he lost you, to his own thoughts and insecurities. He walks over to you and grabs your arm, lifting you up and dragging you to an empty room. You try to break free, yelling at him to let go. He pins you to a desk and just stares at you. You push at his chest, God you're lucky you can't cry or you'd be sobbing right now. He grabs your chin and makes you look at him.
"What are you doing here?" He whispers to you. You blink at him and don't answer. He looks so pretty in this light, even when he's practically holding you hostage. He shakes you slightly "ANSWER ME" You flinch and look him in the eyes.
"Why'd you leave me?" You mutter. He breaks eye contact with you and lets go of your wrists. He paces the space in front of you.
"it was 1861, people weren't exactly open to what we were back then" He mutters, but you catch it. Of course you do.
"We could've worked it out! Clearly were both here now! We could've lasted Jasper!" You yell at him. He looks over at you, slamming you into the desk again.
"Did you suspect we'd both be here now? 142 years later?!" He shouts in your face. You look down.
"No, I never thought i'd see you again. I thought you'd only live on as a memory or a photo I kept" You whisper. He looks down at the locket, he grips it and opens it. There it is, a picture of a 17 year old him. He stares at it and then looks at you. He grabs your face, kissing you. You freeze and stare at him. Slowly your eyes close and wrap your arms around him, pulling him closer. That is until you remember the girl that was attached to him, you push him away; wiping your mouth.
"What about the girl that was hanging onto your arm?!" You say, staring him down. He looks at you, thinking and then he starts laughing at you.
"That girl is one of my sisters, I swear nothing like that is going on. I haven't been able to stop thinking of you. ever since that day I lost you, due to my own selfishness" He says, grabbing you and just embracing you. You lean into him and hug him back.
"We'll be okay?" You ask. He looks at you.
"We'll be okay"

Sal Fisher With an Autistic Male S/O
A/N: Yayyy writing for Sally Face I love this game sm, I'm considering replaying it (I need to but it on my switch tho). I just love this game and all of the characters, it holds my heart, so exited to write for it, Sorry it got a lil angsty at the end, but I guess we all know how the game ends :(
Male Reader, Autistic Reader
Tumblr media
The two of you probably met through school
You were the 'weird" quiet kid, didn't talk a lot, needed some help in class, and all around didn't have many friends
It was the average school day, the average torture of high school, when Sal showed up
A new kid from New Jersey is what you overheard from all the other kids, but you figured with your luck a new student wouldn't take any type of interest in you
That was until you saw him
A shorter boy with blue hair and a prosthetic mask
He was in your geometry class, and since the rest of the desks and tables were filled up, except for yours because you wanted to sit by yourself and nobody else wanted to sit with you, he sat right next to you
Normally the popular groups of kids would beg the new student to sit with them, find some way to open up a seat, but not this time
But not with Sal, his prosthetic mask and rather cold and blunt demeanor putting everybody else off
Not you though, you knew what it was like to be different
You didn't mind his mask, or his personality, in fact you could relate to him, not that you started talking to him at first, you were still too scared
As the year went on, the two of you did start talking a little bit, chats about the lessons, how much you despised the teacher, and even giving each other the homework answers when you forgot to do it
You saw him in the hallways and on the way to lunch, hanging out with his friends like Larry and Ash, but you never joined them
You would probably sit with them at lunch, that is if you went to lunch
The cafeteria was way to loud, so you were able to sit in the counselors office for lunch instead
It was after Sal defended you from Travis that you actually started to become closer
The two of you talked more often, found you both have similar interests, and bonded on what made the both of you different from everybody else
You even started to get closer with his friend group and finally felt like you belonged there
It was in your junior year when the two of you got together, although you kept it under the radar for obvious reasons (Travis)
You'd spend days going over to the apartment, meeting his dad, listening to him play the guitar, petting Gizmo, playing video games, and doing the usual spooky apartment activities
You never really got into their shenanigans, sometimes Sal would tell you all about them and sometimes he would be more hesitant
But the whole bologna incident was hard to hide, good thing you never ate those sandwiches
It took a while before he took his mask off in front of you, but when he did he was a bit worried you'd leave him completely
It took a lot of reassuring and comforting that day, but he was more assured and felt a lot better, more comfortable around you
After high school you didn't live together, but you were still close
You'd come over to the boy's place as often as you could, to the point they joked that you lived there
Larry and Todd would poke fun of you and Sal about your relationship, but you would do the same to Todd and Neil
When Ash showed back up, you couldn't help but feel a pang of jealousy with the time they were spending together, although you trust the both of them and would probably never admit it
Of course, with Sal doing his best to keep you out of the paranormal activity, you didn't know when things started to go down hill
When it came out about the murders, you were terrified
You testified up and down that Sal would never do such a thing, but the evidence was all there
Before he was gone, he told you that he had to do it, although you couldn't really understand what he was trying to say
And just like that, you were alone again, people constantly bugging you, trying to get information for whatever true crime podcast they were running, even though you tried to ignore it
Once again you were alone, constantly pointed and poked at, and now Sal wasn't here to comfort you
Tumblr media
Uggh I hurt my own feelings at the end. I heard there's supposed to be a second game at some point, which I'm super exited for, ty for reading and have a nice day

0.1 — drunkfession ; james potter
sum: alcohol has both you and James thinking about what could’ve been
warnings: drunk teens
notes: wrote this months ago but its literal shit needed to clear my notes tho!
James stumbled in his steps as he climbed up the corridor stairs. His head was heavy, his eyes bleary, but even in his drunken state he was still able to make out the person stood before him.
Judging by your puffy lips and reddened cheeks, he was able to either guess you were drunk or had been crying. Your hair fell in its silky locks, tangled by the ends. James just wished he could comb through them, make them look perfectly straight just how he liked it. His heart ached a bit when your eyesight avoided him immediately.
He knew he’d hurt you, he knew how you and him didn’t talk much more these days, didn’t joke around even when you’d been promised a friendship still. But none of those compared to you avoiding eye contact with him.
The breakup didn’t go well. He had convinced you that both of you weren’t good for each other. And maybe you weren’t. Things were messy for you, and he was in a complicated situation as well. You’d gone through a list of hookups after. But James, James had gotten into a semi serious relationship with Lily Evans. At first he tried to hide it, then things got more complicated and James couldn’t keep things away any longer. The news came a few months after your breakup, but the fact hurt, and maybe mixed with a bit of alcohol in your senses— you had broke down to the pictures of them together.
James didn’t knew what was going on in his head then, maybe he enjoyed Lily’s company, maybe he did like her. But if he did, then why was he so completely over her in just a week, or why— even worse, was his heart panging in his chest and his heartbeat ringing through his ears when he sees you like this.
And why, when the air gets colder and the leaves turn browner does he have you feeling like his girl again?
“Hi.” He starts simply.
You wave your hand, “You can cross, Potter.”
He wants to speak, but the words don’t come out right, “I— I don’t—“
“You know, you can speak to me properly. Know you’re drunk ‘n all, but it’s really not that hard, Potter.”
“What d’you mean?” He asks harshly.
You lean away from the wall, “I mean, you’ve been avoiding me all the time. ‘S not like I’ve done anything wrong, have I?”
“Oh, c’mon Y/n. I—“
“Why’re you even here?” You slurred, “Shouldn’t you be busy with Lily?”
He rolled his eyes, clearly irritated by the question. “I have an actual life other than her, thank you very much. And besides— ‘s not like we were anything.”
You knew. Of course you knew. You were friends with Sirius and Marlene, Merlin, one of those were bound to say something. “Really?” You asked, not to sound too interested or anything.
He hmm-ed, answering simply.
“Then why’d you break up with me?”
One. Two. The seconds passed by just as direct as your words. Unsurprisingly aiming for his heart.
“You know I cant answer that, Y/n.”
You scoffed, “Why not? Haven’t had actual closure all this time. Might as well, right? We’re both drunk, probably wouldn’t remember any of this in the morning.”
Truthfully, even if you were drunk off your arse, you knew you wouldn’t forget about anything about this night. Even starting from this moment, it had all been captured and stored in your memory. Just like all the other ones with James in it, it was tucked in the safe space of the small slot in your heart.
“Yes. No— lie. I remember everything with you in it.” Just like your minds were the same, he admitted just a bit more bravely than you.
“I just want to understand, Jamie.”
There it was. Jamie. He knew the nickname was coming, and yet he still expected a small heart attack to occur when you pronounced the name so gently, just like you used to.
“I know you do.” He sighed, running a hand through his mess of curls. “But I don’t know either. My head was a mess, just like you were. And I guess— I guess I never apologized to you and never helped you through it. But you should know, Y/n, I really am sorry for all of it.”
Your eyes shot up to the ceiling, avoiding the mess of tears threatening to spill down your cheeks. “I didn’t ask for your apology. I asked why.”
More tugging on his hair, “I don’t— don’t know, Y/n. I guess, things were really messy and I did the first thing that came to mind instead of thinking it through.”
“You should’ve spoke to me. Asked me for help. Or something. I was there for you, Jamie. You had me, just like I thought I had you.”
The words cut. He knew, and you knew too.
“You were there for me?”
You rolled your eyes again at him, a small laugh escaping and your voice going down. “You know you’ll always have me, right Jamie? No need to be so choosy with my words.”
His beautiful hazel eyes light up, “I know.”
“You avoided me. You acted like I didn’t exist.” You frowned. Even with his poor eyesight, James could see your eyes turn glassy.
“Honey—“ James stopped himself, “Sorry, Y/n. I— I didn’t know you felt that way. You said you didn’t want to talk to me.”
“What?” You suppressed the want to smack his head, “When did I ever say that, you idiot?”
“I dunno! I just got the vibe!”
“You’re so stupid, Potter! This is why I hate you!”
“You don’t hate me.”
“Yes, I do.”
James scoffs, “You could never hate me.”
“Right, because you’ve treated me so perfectly.” You mumbled.
The staircase didn’t have much air as the window was far on the top end. You felt yourself getting hotter, particularly the heat reaching up to your cheeks when James clicked his tongue and pursed his lips.
“Let me treat you perfectly then.” He offered, you weren’t sure if he meant it or if it were just one of his mindless, drunk flirting. Probably the latter.
You scoffed, “Not a chance, Potter.”
“I mean it.” He took a step forward. His fingers twitched, itching to grab ahold of yours. He knew just then what it’d feel it, yours were cold and his was warm. He knew it was like whatever this was between you two, just something teetering on the edge, if he had a chance to grab ahold of you he knew he could warm you right up. But James hadn’t yet trusted himself if he was able to earn your heart and not break it again.
“I have experience in not believing what you mean.”
“I wanted it to be you, Y/n. So badly.” He confessed in a whisper.
“Then why not?” You only dared to ask as the tears finally drop gently across your cheeks.
Why not? Well, it was quite clear then why not. Because his robes were decorated with red and gold and meanwhile yours were lined with astute silver and green.
You. Always you. How could he ever forget … about you? Even if it’s been months since your breakup, and months since you’ve spoken so intimately with each other, everything about this felt natural.
“You know why not.”
You rolled your eyes, pretty sure your cheeks have been rained with black mascara by now. “It sucked to see you trailing after Lily for weeks. It sucked because I knew how it felt having you on mine.”
“I’m sorry.”
You scoffed, trying to lighten the mood with your insistent remarks the whole conversation. “You’ve said that before.”
“Honey.” James smirked ever so slighty. He moved his face closer to you until you could feel his breath fanning over your nose. “I’m so, so sorry.” Your cold choulder was suddenly touched by a warm presence, his fingers creeping up to twiddle with the thin strap of your dress.
“Jamie..” your voice wavered, serving as a warning to James.
“I could have you forgiving me so easily, you know that?”
You decided then, if James wanted to play this game then you could compete as well. “How about, you spend more time trying to get a sincere apology to me ready by next morning. Maybe then I’ll see if I’m ready to forgive you.”
“God, I had you tearing up a minute ago and now you’re back to this?” James panted.
Your hand pushed at his chest, “See you in the morning, Potter.”
James smiled politely, the smile you hated. Then his head dipped lower and pressed a singular light kiss on your clavicle. “Goodnight, then.” He whispered against your skin.
“Ugh. Goodnight, Potter.” You replied swiftly before quickly leaving.

Pairing: Boyfriend!Heeseung × girlfriend!fem!reader
Synopsis: Another heated argument with you and your boyfriend Heeseung, making it your last straw. You thought it was the end for a while after leaving, until one day..
Genre/warnings: angst to fluff, toxic relationship, a lot of back and forth, idk ok.. | wc: 2k
𝙈𝙖𝙧’𝙨 𝙣𝙤𝙩𝙚: This has been in my drafts for a while so I had to let it out. I’ve been writing SOOO MUCH HEESEUNG FICS ITS CRAZY omg. I promise diff are coming I’m js so brain dead on what to write and I don’t get requests..😁 Jake ff coming out Friday nov15 for his birthday tho!! anyway go enjoy :>
Tumblr media
The argument started innocently enough. You were waiting for Heeseung at a party you’d been planning to attend together, but he never showed. You called, texted, and waited for hours, but he never responded. When you finally got home and found him there, acting as if nothing had happened, something inside you snapped.
“What’s wrong with you?” you demanded, slamming the door behind you. “I waited for you all night, Hee! Do you know how embarrassing it was, standing there by myself while everyone kept asking where you were?”
He looked up from his phone, barely acknowledging your presence. “I told you I wasn’t sure if I could make it.”
“You told me you wanted to be there,” you shot back, anger rising in your chest. “But you didn’t even call, Heeseung! You just left me there, like I didn’t matter at all.”
Heeseung rolled his eyes, an exasperated sigh escaping his lips. “Why are you making this such a big deal? It was just one night.”
“Because this isn’t the first time!” Your voice shook as you threw your bag onto the couch, barely able to contain your frustration. “You keep doing this—promising me you’ll show up, then bailing like it’s nothing. Do you even care about this relationship anymore?”
“Here we go again,” he muttered under his breath, but loud enough for you to hear. “You’re always turning everything into a personal attack.”
You clenched your fists, trying to hold back tears of frustration. “Maybe if you actually made an effort, I wouldn’t feel like I have to ‘attack’ you. I’m so tired of being the only one fighting to keep us together.”
Heeseung scoffed, throwing his phone down on the table. “Oh, please. Don’t act like you’re some saint here. You’re always complaining, always finding something wrong with what I do or don’t do. It’s exhausting.”
“Exhausting?” The word stung, and you felt a pang of anger so sharp it made you shake. “So you’re saying I’m exhausting?”
“Yeah, maybe you are,” he snapped, meeting your gaze with a hard look you’d never seen from him before. “Maybe this whole thing is just… too much. You’re always so needy, always wanting more. Maybe I can’t give you what you want.”
Your heart pounded in your chest, the words hitting harder than he knew. “Needy?” you repeated, voice trembling. “I don’t think it’s needy to want the person I love to actually show up for me. But maybe you’re right—maybe I’m asking too much from someone who clearly doesn’t care.”
“Oh, don’t twist this around like I don’t care,” he shot back. “I have my own life, my own problems. Everything doesn’t revolve around you.”
“That’s not fair, and you know it,” you said, trying to keep your voice steady. “You’re the one who’s been pulling away, Heeseung. You’re the one who’s been acting like I’m some burden you have to carry. I’m just asking you to meet me halfway, but you can’t even do that, can you?”
Heeseung’s expression hardened, and for a moment, you saw something cold flicker in his eyes. “Maybe I don’t want to meet you halfway,” he said, each word cutting deeper than the last. “Maybe I’m tired of pretending like this is something it’s not.”
Your breath caught in your throat, your heart sinking as his words settled over you. “So… what, then? You’re tired of me?”
“Maybe I am,” he said, his tone bitter. “Maybe I’m tired of constantly being made to feel like I’m not enough, like no matter what I do, it’s never good enough for you.”
You felt your chest tighten, a tear slipping down your cheek despite your efforts to hold it back. “I just wanted you to try, Heeseung. To actually care enough to make an effort.”
“And I just wanted you to stop making me feel like a failure,” he shot back, his voice raising. “Do you have any idea what it’s like to constantly feel like you’re not measuring up? You keep pushing and pushing, and it’s like nothing I do will ever be enough for you.”
“Then why didn’t you say that?” you yelled, feeling your anger and heartbreak twisting together into something raw and painful. “Why did you let me keep believing that you wanted this, that you wanted us?”
“Because I thought I did,” he said, voice cracking as he looked away. “But lately… I don’t know. Maybe we’ve both just been holding on to something that isn’t there anymore.”
His words shattered something deep inside you, a pain so intense it felt almost physical. You took a shaky breath, struggling to find the right words. “So that’s it?” you whispered. “You’re just… giving up?”
Heeseung’s gaze softened, but he didn’t move toward you. “I’m just… tired of hurting you,” he said quietly. “And tired of feeling like I’m the problem. I can’t keep doing this.”
You looked away, unable to bear the sight of him standing there, so calm, as if he hadn’t just destroyed everything you’d built together. “Fine,” you whispered, barely able to get the words out. “If that’s how you feel… then maybe we shouldn’t keep doing this.”
For a moment, you thought he might say something, that he might reach out, try to fix the damage that had been done. But he didn’t move, didn’t say a word, just watched as you picked up your things and turned toward the door.
“Goodbye, Heeseung,” you said, your voice barely audible as you walked away, each step feeling heavier than the last.
As you closed the door behind you, you realized that you had been holding on to a version of him that no longer existed, a love that had withered in the space between unmet expectations and unspoken resentments. And the realization hurt more than anything he could have said, because now you knew that sometimes love simply isn’t enough.
Tumblr media
Weeks had passed since that night, but the pain still sat heavy in your chest, a constant reminder of the words you both threw like daggers. You had told yourself it would get easier—that eventually, you’d stop replaying the fight over and over, picking apart every sentence, wondering if you could have said or done something differently.
But every time you closed your eyes, you could still see him standing there, looking at you with that mixture of anger and something else—something you couldn’t name.
Tonight, you found yourself sitting in a quiet café, stirring a mug of coffee you hadn’t touched. You’d come here hoping the change of scenery would help, but all it did was bring memories crashing back, drowning you in thoughts you had been trying so hard to escape. And then, as if fate had a cruel sense of humor, the doorbell chimed, and there he was.
Heeseung.
He hadn’t seen you yet, and you almost turned away, almost gathered your things to leave before he noticed. But some part of you—maybe it was the part that hadn’t stopped missing him, the part that still ached for him despite everything—stayed rooted in place.
As if sensing your presence, Heeseung looked up, his eyes widening slightly when they met yours. For a moment, neither of you moved, both frozen in the shared silence. Finally, he took a breath and walked over, his steps hesitant, as if he, too, was unsure of how this would go.
“Hey,” he said, his voice softer than you remembered, almost as if he were afraid of breaking something fragile.
“Hi,” you replied, your own voice barely above a whisper.
He sat down across from you, and for a moment, the two of you just sat in silence, both unsure of where to start. The tension was thick, memories of the fight still hanging heavily between you.
“I… I didn’t expect to see you here,” he said, awkwardly rubbing the back of his neck.
“I didn’t expect to see you, either,” you replied, your tone guarded.
Heeseung looked down at the table, then back up at you, his eyes searching yours. “I’ve been thinking about… that night. About the things we both said.”
A lump formed in your throat, and you swallowed hard, nodding slightly. “Me too,” you admitted, voice trembling.
“I didn’t mean to hurt you,” he said, his gaze never leaving yours. “I know that’s probably hard to believe after everything, but… I never wanted things to end up like that.”
“Then why did you let it get to that point?” you whispered, the hurt and confusion you’d been carrying pouring out before you could stop it. “Why didn’t you just talk to me, Heeseung? Why did you make me feel like I was the problem?”
He sighed, looking down at his hands. “Because… because I didn’t know how to tell you that I was struggling. I thought I was supposed to handle everything on my own, and I didn’t want to burden you with my issues. But in trying to protect you, I pushed you away, and that’s on me.”
His admission cracked something open inside you, and you felt a surge of conflicting emotions—relief, sadness, anger. “I would’ve been there for you, Heeseung. All I wanted was to be there for you.”
“I know,” he said, his voice barely more than a whisper. “I realize that now. I just… I guess I was scared. Scared of being vulnerable. Scared of letting you see the parts of me that I’ve always tried to hide.”
You felt a tear slip down your cheek, but you didn’t bother to wipe it away. “You didn’t have to be perfect for me, Heeseung. I never wanted that. I just wanted you.”
He reached out hesitantly, his hand hovering over yours, and for a moment, you thought he might pull back. But then, slowly, he took your hand, his fingers intertwining with yours, warm and familiar.
“I don’t know if I can fix what I broke,” he said quietly, his eyes full of regret. “But… if there’s still a part of you that wants to try, I’d do anything to make it right.”
You looked down at his hand, the memories of all the times you’d held each other, all the promises you’d once shared. Part of you wanted to say yes, to let yourself fall back into the warmth of him, to believe that maybe, just maybe, things could be different this time.
But another part of you remembered the pain—the nights spent wondering if you were enough, the feeling of constantly fighting to hold onto someone who kept slipping away.
“I don’t know if I can trust you again, Heeseung,” you said, voice breaking. “You hurt me so much. I don’t know if I can go through that again.”
His grip on your hand tightened slightly, desperation flashing in his eyes. “I know I messed up, and I know it might take a long time to earn back your trust. But if there’s even the smallest part of you that thinks we could make this work… I promise I’ll do whatever it takes.”
Silence settled between you, thick with emotion, as you weighed his words. You knew that forgiveness wouldn’t come easily, that the scars from that night would always be there, etched into your heart. But looking at him now, at the vulnerability in his eyes, you saw a glimpse of the Heeseung you’d fallen in love with—the one who had once made you feel like you were his whole world.
Taking a shaky breath, you met his gaze. “If we do this… it can’t be like before. We both have to be honest with each other, even when it’s hard. No more hiding, no more pretending.”
He nodded, a look of relief washing over his face. “I promise,” he said, his voice full of conviction. “No more hiding.”
Slowly, cautiously, you let yourself smile, a small glimmer of hope flickering in your chest. It would be a long road, full of challenges and doubts, but for the first time in a long time, you felt like maybe, just maybe, you could find your way back to each other.
And this time, you’d fight for each other—together.

YOU WOKE UP TO A COLD, EMPTY BED. As the morning sun peeked lazily through the thin curtains, they cast a wam glow across the hardwood floor. Your hair was a tousled mess atop your pillow, legs still sore from the night you had shared with Wakasa – though the activities had trailed well into this morning. You opened your eyes, disoriented for a brief moment as you blinked a few times. You shifted to the right, and then realized that you were alone.
The realization brought a pang of sadness that fluttered in your chest. You reached out to feel the empty space beside you, sweaty fingers trailing over the cool sheets – sheets that had been twisted between your fingers only a few hours earlier.
There was a sharp pain in your back as you sat up, though it didn’t compare to the overwhelming sense of loneliness that came with waking up alone. The memories of the previous night flooded your mind and filled you with a sense of longing you couldn’t deny. You recalled the way Wakasa’s eyes bore into yours, lips dripping with passionate praise as he claimed your body. Then you recalled the sound of his laughter, the hushed conversations, the gentle, intimate touches – in the quiet stillness of the morning, you were alone.
You should have known that he would leave in the morning. Thats how hook-ups usually worked. He’d had his fun with you and he vanished like thin air. Under normal circumstances, you would have thought nothing of it. Just fun. That’s all it was supposed to be.
But still, you couldn’t help but yearn for him; for the feeling of his hair between your fingers, for the feeling of his strong arms wrapped around your body. He made you melt. Was it all a lie?
Wakasa cupped your face, his touch sending a jolt of electricity through your veins. “I wish I could run away with ‘ya, doll, but we gotta be realistic,” he said, voice filled with longing. “There can’t be a happy ending for us. You know that, don’t ‘ya?”
He was right about that much. There couldn’t be a happy ending for the two of you.
You swung your legs over the edge of the bed and let your bare feet make contact with the cool floor. The shiver you felt could have been from the sudden chill that hit your body as the sheets fell from your shoulders or the emptiness that enveloped you. You cast your gaze to the floor, feeling the heaviness in your chest again.
Just fun, you had to remind yourself. No feelings.
You slid your slippers onto your cold feet. The morning routine which once brought you a sense of comfort now felt mechanical and devoid of meaning. Going through the motions of getting out of bed, you allowed your mind to wander – and wander it did… wander right back to him.
You found yourself missing him. You couldn’t help but replay the moments of intimacy in your mind. The feeling of his lips brushing against yours, the way he let your fingers trace patterns over his tatted skin, the way he held you through the night. He was so warm – it had all felt so real and perfect. But now, with the morning light casting a harsh reality upon your heavy heart, you couldn’t help the sense of emptiness you felt at the prospect of going back to the way things had been before yesterday.
Was that really all it was to him? You asked yourself. Were you a placeholder? A quick cum-and-go situation?
Instead of dwelling too hard on it, you made your way to the kitchen. You felt around on the countertop for the coffee machine. Popping one of the instant coffee capsules into the top of the machine, you watched it whir to life. The familiar aroma of fresh coffee brought little solace. You stood in front of the coffee machine half asleep, heart aching with longing you knew you shouldn’t have felt. The analog clock on the stove read 12:41 PM.
Weary eyes scanning the room, you let yourself wake up little by little. Your gaze settled on the pile of blankets on the couch, which… you didn’t remember putting out there. It looked to be one big blanket draped over a pile.
Figuring you might as well clean it up while you were still looking at it, you pushed yourself away from the counter, walking – or perhaps limping – to the couch. You had been expecting a mess beneath the blanket. What you hadn’t been expecting when you peeled back the first blanket, however, was a head of golden hair to peek out at you.
You froze with surprise at the sight that greeted you. There, on your couch, was the White Leopard himself, the man of the evening. You hadn’t expected him to stay, so you weren’t quite sure how to process the situation. Still, your heart warmed at the sight of him, knowing he’d cared enough to stay with you – and even more to let you have the entire bed while he slept on the couch. The gesture was… well, surprisingly kind.
You couldn’t deny that you had been preparing to be left in the dust. That’s all you had ever known. Given the passionate haze of a night that lingered in your memory, however, you had found yourself wishing it would last a little longer. Seeing him asleep on your couch, you felt a mix of surprise, curiosity, and uncertainty.
Continuing to watch the man sleep, you allowed your eyes to trace the curves and contours of his feminine face. His long, golden hair peeking out from beneath a layer of deep, purple dye. The smaller strands framed his delicate features. His lips were parted just slightly, blonde lashes casting soft shadows over his cheeks.
You were stuck by how beautiful he was in such a vulnerable state. Was this really the same criminal you had bedded last night? The alluring, passionate man who exuded such an intense air of confidence…?
You couldn’t help but feel a sense of curiosity about Wakasa as you stared down at his serene, sleeping form. Who was he beneath the surface? Who was he outside of his relationship with you, outside of his ties to the criminal world? What were his dreams, his fears, his hopes? What was his story?
It was then that you realized how little you really knew about your forbidden lover. You approached the couch slowly, drawn to him like a moth to a flame. Being careful not to wake him, you knelt beside him. The man stirred in his sleep, scrunching his nose, but he didn’t wake up. The movement made you smile softly, feeling a sense of warmth and contentment you hadn’t expected.
He was breathtaking, a symphony of beauty – the way his brows arched just so, the way his lazy, downturned eyes were just barely shut. You found yourself lost in the details, the intricacies of his face.
As you continued to watch him sleep, you felt something shift inside of you. You wanted to know more about the man in front of you. You wanted to see his ups and downs, hear more about his past with Shinichiro and Takeomi. You wanted to know about all of his dreams and aspirations, what made him tick and what made him laugh. You wanted to unravel the alluring mystery that was Imaushi Wakasa.
Your heart swelled with a newfound tenderness. You gazed softly at Wakasa, who was lost in a peaceful slumber. This was so much more than just sex to you. You wished – above anything else – that circumstances could have been different.
You picked a stray away from his face, tucking it behind his ear. Wakasa stirred, lashes fluttering as he began to wake up. You quickly pulled your hand away, heart skipping a beat.
Wakasa blinked sleepily, droopy eyes searching the room until they focused on you. A soft, lazy grin made its way onto his lips as his gaze lingered on your face. “Mornin’,” he said hoarsely.
Feeling your face warm a little bit at the sound of his morning voice, you returned the gesture. “Good morning,” You replied softly, unable to tear your eyes away from him even though you knew it would be dangerous to keep looking at him. “Well, good afternoon.”
He rolled over on the couch, tugging the blanket down so he could stretch his arms out above his head with a loud yawn. His muscles tensed, toned arms flexing above him. Your eyes wandered from his tattoos down to his chest.
Gazing at you with a mixture of admiration and curiosity, he licked his lips. “What time’s’it?” He asked, running a a hand through his hair. It looked so silky, even now after the two of you had spent the entire night rolling around.
“12:42,” You answered him, avoiding his tired gaze. “What are you doing out here?”
Wakasa shrugged. “Thought it would be best for the both of us if I slept on the couch. Figured I’d give you some space,” he explained. You understood the implications of his words, and you knew he had made the right choice. Lord knew that waking up next to him would make you fall in love. “Were you watchin’ me?”
Embarrassed, you pursed your lips.
His grin only widened, and he reached out to gently cup your cheek, turning your flustered face towards him. “You’re sweet,” he said, thumb caressing your hot skin. “You sleep well?”
You knew you shouldn’t, but you couldn’t help but lean into his touch, feeling the warmth spread from your face to the rest of your body. You knew it was foolish of you to continue indulging in his attention like this when you were walking a fine line already, but when you looked into his eyes and saw him look back at you with desire, you found yourself unable to resist him.
“We didn’t sleep until, like…” You trailed off, racking your memory while memories from last night flicked through your mind like you were rewinding a VHS tape. “Five. In the morning.”
Wakasa chuckled, sending sparks up and down your body. The two of you glanced down at his stomach when it grumbled. He laughed, “Dunno why ‘m still hungry. I ate real good last night.”
You bit your lip, letting your face burn at his words. You glanced to the kitchen, and then back at him. “You like eggs and toast?” You asked. “I haven’t gotten the chance to go grocery shopping or do much cleaning around here, sorry. I just wasn’t expecting–”
Wakasa pulled you in, locking your lips together to shut you up. The two of you parted slowly, savoring the moment, before Wakasa said, “Eggs and toast sound great.”
You licked your lips with a smile, putting some distance between the two of you for the sake of your mental health. He was dangerous, him and his lips. Wordlessly, you made your way over to the kitchen.
“How do you take your coffee?” You called, grabbing the cup of coffee that had just finished brewing and then popping another capsule into the machine.
Wakasa answered, “Two sugars, baby.”
You followed his command, popping the sugar canister open and scooping one big spoonful into the mug you had originally brewed for yourself. You let it dissolve a bit before stirring the cup in a clockwise motion.
“Here you go,” You said, setting the mug on the table. There was a clean pan on the stove already. You turned on the flame, and then reached into the cupboard above you in search of a bowl. Fetching three eggs from the fridge, you set your station for the meal you were about to make.
As you cracked the eggs into the bowl, you felt a pair of strong arms wrap around your waist from behind, and a familiar warmth pressed up against your back. Biting back a gasp, you leaned into his touch. There was something else pressing into your back too, but you were trying your best not to think too hard about it.
Something was an early bird, even if Wakasa wasn’t.
“I had a great time last night, doll,” He whispered against the back of your neck, breath tickling the shell of your ear. “You always this pretty in the mornin’?”
Fighting a smile, you tried to focus on the task at hand. You added a pinch of salt to the eggs, but your attention was stolen away by the feeling of his slender fingers slipping beneath the fabric of your tee. He gripped your stomach pudge, leaning down to plant soft kisses along the valley of your neck.
Casual, you had to remind yourself. Keep it casual.
“What happened to keepin’ it casual?” You replied, though your voice was dripping with amusement. You took the fork into your hand, sticking it into the yellow goop and attempting to whisk it. But, alas, Waka’s proximity was making it a little difficult to keep on track.
His hands roamed over your waist – warm, secure, safe. When he peppered more kisses along your jawline, you squirmed a bit, grinning hard enough to feel it in your cheeks. You dumped the egg mixture into the now heated pan, listening to the way it sizzled.
“You ain’t exactly makin’ it easy, c’mon,” he teased, nuzzling his face into your neck, and you couldn’t help but blush at his words. “I won’t tell your man.”
You turned to face Waka, bracing your arms on the kitchen counter. He was grinning at you with that affectionate twinkle in his eyes, and you found it suddenly difficult to keep your feelings to yourself. As if he had read your mind, he leaned in, and you melted into his touch.
Your lips met in the middle, dancing against each other lazily. He brought his hands down over your thighs as you tangled a hand in his hair to deepen the kiss. They slid up to your hips, and then gripped the meat of your ass. With a hungry groan, Wakasa lifted you onto the counter.
“You don’t get tired, do you?” You panted through a mouthful of his tongue.
Wakasa chuckled – the sound was low and sultry. “Of you?” he said. “Neva’.”
Then his lips were back on yours, hot and soft. His hands found their way back to your clothes, sliding up your bare thighs and ghosting over the hem of your panties. Suddenly, you had forgotten all about the eggs on the stove.
That is, until you smelled something burning. You pulled away from him, shoving him back while you rushed to the stove. “Shit!” You exclaimed.
You turned the heat down. Using the spatula you had laid out earlier, you scraped the burnt egg bits off the side of the pan, trying your best to salvage the meal. Eggs were expensive these days.
Wakasa laughed a little as he stepped back. You couldn’t help but laugh with him as you grabbed a dish towel to wave away the smoke. Even though you were a little disappointed that your makeout session had been interrupted, you felt yourself smile as you surveyed the damage.
“Well done is good too,” He hummed.
It took a remarkable amount of strength to keep your feelings out of the mix. You waved him off with a smile, gesturing toward the table. “Make yourself useful and go set the table.”
Takeomi sat back in his chair, swishing the brown liquid in his glass around with an air of mild interest about him. His hair was down today, black tufts speckled with grey like pepper, falling over his scarred face. The dining table was remarkably quiet. Though, admittedly, him bringing liquor for the two of you to share was nice. Usually he downed the whole thing himself – not like he hadn’t come home shitfaced already.
“You had fun today with Shin and Benkei?” You asked him, trying to strike up a conversation. You decided you wouldn’t acknowledge the fact that he had drunk himself stupid last night already as he took another hefty swig. You were in no place to talk. Not after the night you had spent with his coworker.
“You’ll be back soon, right?” You asked.
Wakasa stretched his arms out, straddling the seat of his motorbike. He slipped the key into the ignition. “Course I will.”
Coming up behind him, you threw your arms around his waist, pressing your head to his chest. He looked so cute like this, wearing a hoodie that was a few sizes too big for his small frame. It was your boyfriend’s hoodie, of course, but that wasn’t important.
“Stay with me,” you whispered, voice still a little husky from your… post-breakfast activities.
“You know I would if I could, doll,” the man replied. He reached behind himself to tie his loose, golden locks into a ponytail. He picked out his two signature strands to hang around his face. Turning to face you, he pressed your foreheads together.
You felt your heart fluter in your chest. You didn’t want him to leave.
“Wanna kiss you,” he chuckled, shaking his head, although he didn’t pull away from you. “But that’ll only make it harder to leave.”
“We shouldn’t,” you agreed, peering up into his soft, lazy eyes and pleading with him to stay with you. “Someone might see us.”
The distance between the two of you – or, rather, the lack thereof – remained the same, neither of you daring to break the trance.
He leaned down a bit more. His lips ghosted over hers, warm breath fanning over her hot skin. “Yeah. Wouldn’t want that happenin’.”
Before you could object, he pressed his lips to yours in a deep, passionate kiss. You melted against him, wrapping your arms around his neck and losing yourself in the feeling. The way your lips slotted together like they were made to fit each other had you reeling for more. When the two of you finally parted, you could see the desire in his eyes, and you knew that even if he couldn’t say it, he felt the same.
“Get home safe,” You told him.
“Will do, princess,” he promised before turning the key. His bike revved to life.
Takeomi’s tired eyes observed you as you uncapped the bottle of whiskey and poured yourself another glass. “It was alright,” he deadpanned, then he paused before adding, “Look, I’m sorry about yesterday. I should’ve taken you home myself.”
You froze, only for a moment, before returning your gaze to him. It took a great amount of effort to cool the burn that threatened to crawl its way over your face at the prospect of him knowing what happened between you and Wakasa last night. “You’re fine,” you shook your head. “I wound up going to bed early anyway.”
“Fuck,” Wakasa breathed. “Y’look good with my dick in your mouth, baby.”
He doesn’t know, you had to remind yourself. There was no way he could have known.
“Waka get you home safe?” He asked.
You rubbed the sweat off your palms onto your pants, nervously avoiding eye contact. “Yeah. We took the highway back.”
“I would’ve sent you home with, like, literally anyone else if the guys weren’t so drunk. I can’t stand him,” Your boyfriend sighed, leaning back in his chair like he knew what you had done. “Little shit thinks hes so much better than everyone else. Him and that… Brut.”
The way his hair fell into his face as he snuggled his head into the pillow was almost hypnotic. “I could treat you better. So much better, ‘know I could. I’ve never felt that for anyone before.”
“He ain’t put his hands on ‘ya, did he?” Takeomi hummed, eyes darkening suddenly with the weight of his words.
“I won’t tell your man.”
With a weak smile and a humorless chuckle, you answered, “No, baby. He knows I have a boyfriend.”
Briefly, you wondered if he could sense his presence on you. You wondered if, even though you had bathed yourself in perfume before coming here, Takeomi could smell his scent on your body, the faint essence of his expensive cologne lingering on your clothes. While the two of you had been careful not to leave marks on one another, you felt self conscious in front of him, like Wakasa’s lips had left blistering scars and love bites all over your skin.
Takeomi only nodded at you. He reached for the bottle of whiskey and topped off his glass, taking another sip. Then, just as it had been before, the table was quiet for a few minutes.
He doesn’t know, you had to remind yourself. As your phone buzzed against your thigh, you reminded yourself that your boyfriend didn’t know who it was, even if you had only assumed it was him. A thought crossed your mind – perhaps it would serve you well to change your passcode one of these days.
Flipping the phone screen-side-up in your lap, you swiped on the notification. The warmth returned to your cheeks with remarkable speed.

You clicked on the photo. When it blew up on your screen, you fiddled with the brightness settings. It was a picture of two eggs done sunny side up. The yolks resembled a set of tits. You could see Wakasa’s hand in the corner of the photo, holding the plate up to the camera, tatted skin reflecting light from somewhere behind the screen.

Waka

Fighting the urge to laugh at his shenanigans, you typed up your brief response quickly before turning the phone off.
You
|   no comment lol
You muted all notifications for Wakasa for the time being, setting your phone on the table as you pushed yourself up and away from the chair.
“I’m gonna take a quick shower. I hope that’s okay,” You said.
Too wasted to comment verbally on your request, he waved you off. You dusted the hem of your shirt, stumbling drunkenly for a moment before leaving the table without so much as another word.
The steamy shower provided a brief – yet much needed – moment of solace for your conflicted spirit. The hot water felt like acid against your even hotter skin, melting your troubles away and easing the pain away from your shoulders. Yet, still, it did little to ease the guilt and confusion that seemed to overwhelm you.
You had cheated on your boyfriend. You were past that part. What shocked you now was the fact that you were catching feelings for the guy you did it with. The emotions were almost too strong to bear. You felt like a monster – it all felt so wrong.
But, shit, not to be cliche… but if that were the case then you weren’t too sure you wanted to be right.
The man thrilled you, filled you with desires you had never felt before. In a mere month alone, he had managed to completely sweep you off of your feet. He had taken what was once a plain, boring reality and painted his name all over it.
Having already had washed your hair earlier today, you focused on working up a lather over your skin with Takeomi’s body wash – anything to help cleanse the filth from your soul.
Your mind was racing with thoughts and emotions, wondering how you had let things get to this point.
If I could go back in time, would I do it again? You furrowed your brows. Letting your hands glide over your body on their own, you mindlessly scrubbed away at your skin. You knew you had betrayed your boyfriend by that point, having cheated on him with – of all of his coworkers – the man he appeared to despise the most. He would undoubtedly try to kill one of you if word got out that you were seeing each other behind his back. All things considered, Takeomi was a decent man, least that’s what you told yourself. You’d be doing a disservice to yourself to leave him and all of this stability behind for the pursuit of temporary happiness.
And then what? Would Wakasa eventually grow tired of you and leave you for another? You didn’t want to be blacklisted from Tokyo’s criminal world, as crazy as that may have sounded.
Then again, it would be even more of a disservice to yourself to give what you had with Wakasa up so soon. His lips dripped with venom; His half-lidded eyes contained promises of a future you weren’t sure was even possible.
In those eyes, you saw a reflection of your own desires – the future you desperately wanted the two of you to share. You saw a man who was both powerful and vulnerable; a man who had earned the title of one of Japan’s most feared men, a man who had swept the hair out of your face and wiped your tears away. In those eyes, you could see the weight of the responsibility he carried, knowing you only added to that burden. He led like it was second nature to him, having been well-known around these parts for the many generous sacrifices he’d made to those in his circle – your boyfriend being one of them.
You wondered if he had ever truly allowed himself to be happy.
But, shit, you’d be lying if you said you didn’t see the way his whole face lit up when you entered the room. It couldn’t have been a lie, not all of it, at least.
Most of all, behind those eyes, you saw a kindred spirit, someone who seemed to understand you in a way that no one else ever has before. You could see this unspoken connection that defied both logic and reason – a shared emotion that was both forbidden and undeniable.
As you stood there in the shower, you realized that you would have to face the consequences of your actions at some point. You couldn’t run from it forever – what you had done was undeniably wrong in a moral sense; no amount of reassurance from Waka or yourself would change that fact. Some day, Takeomi would find out about the two of you, and you weren’t sure if you were ready for things to come to an end so soon.
You sighed. “I don’t want him goin’ after us.”
Wakasa’s hand found its way over to yours. “I’ll keep ‘ya safe. Promise,” he said.
You didn’t care if it was an illusion. He looked so ethereal beneath you, hair splayed out on the pillow around his face like a halo. He was so vulnerable, so perfect. Wakasa’s eyes were filled with a mixture of longing and determination. “And if ‘ya change ‘yer mind about being with him,” he said huskily, his hand reaching up to caress your cheek one more time. “I’m a call away.”
You felt your resolve crumble as you crashed your lips down on his, mouths melding together for what must have been the hundredth time that night. You moaned softly, moving your hands from his waist to the pillow beneath his head as you felt him brace his hands on your hips.
I’m not ready yet, you decided. You didn’t care if it was wrong. You didn’t care if there would be dire and extreme consequences if and when word about the two of you got out. You wanted to stay in this illusion with him a little while longer.
Warm, salty tears mixed with the water running down your face and over your quivering lips as you tried to wrap your head around it all. The thought of being hurt by Takeomi again made you feel sick to your stomach – You had seen the damage he was capable of doing to his opponents, you didn’t even want to know what he would do to you if he found out about Wakasa. Still, you had betrayed him. You knew repercussions would come eventually.
As you stepped out of the shower and dried yourself off with a towel, you swallowed your guilt. You had a clean set of clothes folded neatly atop the sink. The shirt slipped loosely over your head, though the pants took some effort to squeeze into. You gazed at your tired face in the mirror. You looked about as lost as you felt. Deciding eventually that worrying about it now wouldn’t change the eventual outcome, you sighed, reaching for the door.
“Might as well ride the train until it crashes,” you murmurred beneath your breath.
Who knows? That confrontation might be years away.
Looping around the hallway, you approached the staircase. There was that faint, distinct aroma of booze that lingered in the air – that and the familiar stench of Takeomi’s cigars. A smile adorned your lips at the thought of being able to share a smoke with him. You rarely got the chance to smoke a Cuban these days. Slowly, you made your descent down the stairs.
You could hear the TV playing something – Takeomi had moved to the living room. You guessed he was done drinking for the night. Lord knew you were too drunk to continue on yourself.
Anticipation bubbled within you as you approached the living room. Takeomi was seated on the loveseat with a cigar pinched between his thumb and index finger. His hair was a bit greasy from his day out, just faintly illuminated by the yellow light cast onto his face from the lamp in the corner.
As your gaze met his, your anticipation was met with an unexpected sight. Takeomi’s brows were furrowed, lips pressed into a thin line. The tension that radiated from his rigid posture seemed to cast a shadow over the room. There was a storm brewing behind his eyes.
Your heart skipped a beat, then two, your smile dropping from your face. Concern etched itself across your expression. The soft pitter-patter of your bare, damp feet on the hardwood floor seemed to echo louder in the charged atmosphere.
“Is something the matter?” You asked, doing your best to keep your tone gentle despite the hint of unease that lingered behind your words.
“Yeah,” he answered. The end of his cigar crackled as he took a long, hefty hit.
Confusion washed over you. A flicker of worry cast a cloud over your sunny disposition. You approached him slowly, steps tentative. “What’s up?” You asked him.
Takeomi’s gaze met yours, anger flashing behind his dark eyes. His voice, once a drunken, slurred murmur, now carried the weight of his emotion. Wordlessly, reached into his lap and produced your phone, holding it out toward you.
It took a moment for your eyes to adjust to the screen, widening when they did. The warmth in the room dissipated, replaced by a chilling silence that hung heavily in the air.
“You’re fucking my coworker?” He spoke, voice tinged with a mixture of hurt and anger.
And in a moment’s width, your world had flipped upside down.

“Hey there, little lady.”
Chloe flinched violently and spun around to face the voice, chin held high, eyes blazing. Anyone who dared approach a girl– WOMAN, she reminded herself– as young as her and talk to them like this late at night in a place like… well, here, a half-abandoned side street– couldn’t be up to any good.
Unfortunately, her fears turned out to be founded as soon as she took in the profile of the voice. An adult man. Quite a bit taller than her, not exactly stacked but not a lanky little man either, with the sharp of a nasty looking knife pointed directly at her face.
His eyes glinted as she clenched her fists at him and tried to calm the stuttering in her chest, tried to come out of the shaking spiral and the tunnel vision and deep breathing she'd been doing right before he announced himself.
…Okay, so she may not have been paying attention to her surroundings. At all. In a bad part of town. At night. But Marcus was pissing her off saying it wasn't her fault that she couldn't have saved Stan earlier, so… she ran. And he called after her, but she slammed him back with her power, and she kept running.
And he didn't catch her.
So this was all his fault, really…
Nevertheless, she glared at her assailant. And his knife. “I wouldn't, if I were you,” she hissed, lowering her voice as intimidating as she possibly could, ignoring the way her heart skipped a beat and the pang of fear weaving it's way through her stomach. She tried to discreetly wipe away the wetness running down her cheeks.
The man just laughed.
“Oh, don't worry your pretty little head about it, I don't want to do any of uh…” he glanced up and down the entirety of Chloe's body. “That. Lucky you. Just hand over your wallet. Or any other valuables, really, pretty girl like you looks like she’s got loads of daddy’s money. Sure you could spare a couple hundred.”
She could lay this clown out on the pavement right here and now, if she wanted to. But never ever use your powers on someone unless it is life or death. Never let anyone know you have a power, never put yourself in a situation where you'd need to even use your powers, unless you want to end up like Mom and Dad. And me.
Yeah, Stan. She knew. And he didn't listen to his own advice, and now he was captured again too…
Chloe pursed her lips with a huff at the thought, and tried to shove past the robber, but he moved in front of her, blocking her way. She tried again, blocked again, pushed back, attempted sidestep turned stumble back as she tried to keep away from the man and the glinting knife in a horrid dance of rising adrenaline and growing nerves. Before she knew it, he had flanked her, cornering her with her back to a dark alley.
She bared her teeth at him. “Fuck you! Get out of my way!”
“Woah, now,” his easy smile disappeared, head tilting at her with narrowed eyes. “Didn’t they teach you that sharing is caring when you were at kindergarten today?”
“I'm not– Get away from me or you’ll regret it,” Chloe spat back. Her muscles shook with the tension, and for a moment she could swear she saw red. You could crush this idiot without thought.
But don't.
“Just give me the money and I will. I know your brain’s not fully developed, but it really is that simple. Plus I really don’t want to hurt a preschooler if I don’t have to.”
“I’M NOT A PRESCHOOLER!” she shouted, throwing clenched fists out behind her, throwing her full body into yelling at the man, making herself look bigger, trying to make him leave her alone.
The man clenched his jaw at the ferocity of her words, amusement giving way to slight anger before his gaze settled on her angry fists and transformed his demeanor entirely into one of shock and disbelief.
“You–...” he panted, eyes flicking up and down her form again. “You're glowing.”
NO.
Chloe's face went white as she tore her gaze downward and only now noticed the powerful blue glow. It extinguished immediately and she stumbled backward, back hitting the wall of the alleyway with a slight oomph and nearly making her scream.
“No, I’m not!”
 But it was too late.
You need to learn to control your powers. Yes, Stan, she knew! So why did he get captured before he could teach her everything?!
Tears pricked at her eyes.
Why did he have to get captured? She wouldn't be here if he weren't captured, she just wanted her big brother–
“You have powers." The man's extraordinary observation skills ripped her back to the present. "Holy shit, man, that’s…”
Then his gaze settled to her elbow. Where a hero brand would be, if she had one. Oh no. She grabbed at clutched at the exposed skin of her elbow and held it behind her, taking a defensive position, teeth bared. “Yeah, I have powers. Now let me go before I decide to use them on you.”
“Use them on me?” He scoffed. “How old are you again?”
“None of your beeswax!”
“Because if you're too young to have the brand…” a hunger glinted in his eyes. “Oh, this changes things.”
“What–?”
“Do you know how much money a little super without a marking could be worth?! We could wait a bit, turn you in for evading, or– God, I know some people who would go crazy–”
Life or death.
Run.
She sprinted, screaming as loud as she could, straight past him, ran, she needed help, she needed Marcus, she needed Stan she needed help someone to help her anyone she didn't want to be kidnapped–
The back of her shirt caught and yanked her fully back–
“NO STAN HELP–!”
– choking her briefly before slamming her right back into the alleyway wall. The air knocked out of her lungs, and yet she still struggled against the fist curled and pinning the fabric of her shirt against the wall. That is, until she felt the sharp tip of the knife pressing into her stomach. And she froze, staring up into her assailant's eyes.
Life or death.
Life or death??
“LET ME GO!!” she screeched in a blind panic, squirming and kicking and screaming until the man let go of her shirt to slap his hand over her mouth instead, and even then she didn't stop.
“Quiet down, now, unless you want a new hole in your goddamn stomach,” he hissed, pressing the knife even harder against her, the deadly edge painfully close to breaking fabric and flesh. The world around her blurred, a sort of blue lightning crackling up inside of her, overtaking her entire body. “I’m not gonna be outsmarted by some kid. I know if your power were actually useful, you’d’ve used it by now. Which means It’s all the better for a show. So you’re not getting away because you're a tiny as shit preteen who will do whatever I say because I can and will do whatever the fuck I want to you–”
LIFE OR DEATH!!
A flash of bright blue light filled the dingy alley. As Chloe's powers concentrated in her hands, then threw out and created a force strong enough to slam the head of the man attacking her to the side.
THUNK!!
The man shuddered and lurched backward. The knife dropped away from her stomach, leaving a small hole in the shirt where it had almost bore into her. And the hand finally fell away, but suddenly she didn't feel the need to scream.
On the contrary. She stared frozen at his zombie-esque form as he staggered and fell to his knees, muttering incoherently, looking at her with angry, unseeing eyes and shaking body.
Then pause.
Then he collapsed the the ground in a shuddering heap, muttering nonsense.
She stared.
She did that.
Her power did that.
She did that.
Oh crap, she did that…
Adrenaline dumped into her system, and she sprinted off into the night.

[𝟏𝟎:𝟓𝟕𝐏𝐌] — lee hyunjae x gn!reader

a/n: requests now closed! also, i think the last time i purposely wrote something under 1k for tbz was ,,, a jacob thing?? wow that was so long ago 😭
Tumblr media
"You're coming to the debut show, right?"
The question cracked the silence between you and Lee Hyunjae. There was a gentle breeze where the two of you sat on the stairs outside the mall doors, overlooking the Han River. Your breaths came out in visible puffs in front of your faces—the smoke of dragons, he liked to joke. The two of you were out here in the depth of autumn, bordering on winter. You were lucky it was too early for snow.
He scooted closer to you. "Yn?" He asked, voice quieter.
Your eyelids fluttered. "Hm? Yeah, of course. Why wouldn't I be?" The two of you were classmates at South Korea's well-known Hanlim Arts High School, clinging to each other through years of schooling and training. But while Hyunjae was on the cusp of debuting into the glamorous world of the Korean music industry, you were about to embark on your own audition journey.
"I just wanted to make sure," he replied quietly. He tentatively looped his arm with yours, and when he tucked his head into your shoulder, you shifted slightly to accommodate him. Together, you could both generate a little more body heat. "Couldn't have done this without you."
Your heart palpitated in your chest. You patted his arm gently, turning your head downward to feel the fluff of his hair. "Not you being sentimental now, Jaehyun," you teased. "You could've totally done this, even without me. Give yourself some credit."
The two of you were quiet again. It was late, but this moment had been a rare sliver of time the two of you could be around each other. All of his preparations for debut soaked up his time, not to mention the jobs he was working, and your own occupations. You had dropped everything when he asked to meet you at your "spot" by the river.
Your eyes focused on a glowing orb of light on the opposite shore of the Han. "Are you scared?"
Hyunjae didn't reply for a moment. "What if we don't make it?"
There was a loud pang in your chest—you felt for him. Even though you were still undergoing your own audition process, you feared the unfathomable intimidation of failure. "You will make it," you assured him, cheek pressed against the top of his head. "I believe in you, like I always have. And your mom believes in you, and Jieun believes in you…"
"Thanks," he murmured. A small smile curled onto his face and he squeezed your arm a little.
"You're not gonna forget me, are you?" You laughed quietly. "After you become famous and successful?"
"Are you kidding?" You met his grin as he pulled his head out from your shoulder. His smile reached his eyes and turned them into beautiful, upturned crescents. Eyebags hung beneath them, but no one could weigh that happiness down. You memorized the curves and edges of this expression, even if you could already draw him with your eyes closed. "You're—you're my best friend, man. How could I forget you?"
You punched his shoulder. "I'm just making sure." You didn't want to confront your insecurity out loud, but he could see it in your eyes.
His smile softened, eyes melting like molten chocolate. He poked your cheek. "Hey… you feel like home to me. I'll always wanna come home, at the end of the day."
His words made your lip wobble and you knew he could see the lights across the river reflect in your eyes. "Don't cry; you're gonna make me cry," he chuckled, grabbing your shoulder and hauling you to him.
You buried yourself in the cold surface of his winter jacket. "I've never seen you cry."
"There's always a first for everything," he sang. He gave your back a little pat. His touch and embrace were fond; he'd always been so fond of you. "We're gonna be okay."
You found yourself nodding. "Yeah," you smiled, closing your eyes to bask in this moment. Who knew when the next time the two of you could hang out like this was? "We're gonna be okay."

best friends to lovers.
i'm sick and tired of seeing all these fluffy ass best friends to lovers fics because real best friends to lovers isn't that simple.
sure it has the longing pining stretched over multiple years or decades even but it's not JUST "oh im in love with this guy/girl, i don't think they like me back tho so i won't confess" NO.
sometimes it's that but there's always this underlying feeling of "if i fuck this up, i've ruined the most important relationship in my life." so who fucking cares if i love this person so much that my heart feels like ripping into shreds, if it means that it'll be guaranteed that i'll always have them in my life, so be it.
along the way you'd think that you've moved on from each other, maybe there's the subtle (or not so subtle) flirting, pda, etc, but "that's just how we act, we're just friends. nothing more." and with that mindset, you begin to see other people, you begin to see them with other people yet something just doesn't sit right with you. the most perfect person could be sat across from you at the bar yet, it's just not them.
and when you hear that they'd gone on a date with someone else or they'd messed around with a stranger the night before, it sits uncomfortably with you, maybe it even pangs the heartstrings just a little too much than it should.
but that's weird. cause you're just friends, right?
and it begins to cloud your thoughts for the next few weeks, "did they end up seeing them again?" "did they find them more attractive than you were?" but wait, why am i so BOTHERED about this?
do i... like them? or who am i kidding, did i ever even stop liking them in the first place?
there you fall down the rabbit hole of despair, going back and forth on the thought of having a crush on your best friend, whether they still reciprocated your feelings, whether it was worth ruining your friendship.
but you'll have an epiphany. the one that asks, "would you rather leave with the regret of never trying it out and losing them to another person or see the potential?"
once you figure out that you couldn't bear living with the what if, you'd confess. whether it be the most awkward conversation ever or you end up breaking down in tears talking about your past together and apologising for being so hesitant before, it goes well.
now you lie beside your best friend, the soft morning sunlight seeping through the crack between their curtains, legs intertwining each other and the tangled sheets, their arms wrapping around your torso, and shy giggles sounding from the top of your head.
"i'm really glad you said something that day," they may whisper as their warm lips meet yours.
whether you choose to reply or just hum in response, there's a warm sensation in your chest, reminding you that life couldn't get better than this.

"You… had me."
Tumblr media
Josephine's lip quivered as she spoke, "I don’t have anything, Lucie. I have a husband."
Tumblr media
"My family doesn’t even respond to my letters... The only connection I get is through Silas, who helps my father keep tabs on me."
"I was sent away for years and then immediately handed over like livestock to your family."
Tumblr media
Lucile gently reached out, her hand lightly touching Josephine's arm. Josephine continued, her eyes brimming with unshed tears.
"You need time to think of the right words? Maybe I would need time to figure out how to live without my best friend!"
Tumblr media
Lucile’s heart sank. In her mourning, she had been unknowingly selfish. These past months had been difficult for Josephine too: the wedding, the farming, caring for her parents, living with Silas, complying with his demands, and still finding time to check on her...
"Josie... I’ve been so selfish."
Tumblr media
"I had no idea," Lucile whispered, "I wish you had told me. I could have been there for you."
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Lucile stepped forward, looking down, caressing her hands while Josephine stifled her sniffles to reply. "Perhaps I’m at fault as well. I didn’t want to put any more pressure on you… You were already so wracked with worry."
Tumblr media
Josephine lovingly stroked Lucile's fingers. "If we ever see each other again… I hope we can talk more."
The word "if" struck Lucile painfully, a sharp pang in her heart. If was right; this might be the last time she ever saw or heard Josephine. An overwhelming fear gripped her. Should she risk ruining the moment further?
Tumblr media
Without hesitation, Lucile reached up, brushing wet strands of hair from Josephine's face.
Tumblr media
"Josephine, you are the last person I wanted to leave behind. I dreaded this every day since Mama and Papa's passing."
Tumblr media
"You’ve been my first thought every morning. You’ve filled my mind at the most inopportune times, to the point where I could hardly think or work properly."
Tumblr media
Her fingers tightened around Josephine’s. "You have been the shining sun in my life, the only thing that’s kept me going."
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Josephine caught her breath, her hand suddenly pulling back.
Tumblr media
"You make me feel akin to a sunflower," Lucile continued, her eyes softening. "If I were to lose sight of you for too long, my heart would cease to beat, and I would wither away."
Tumblr media Tumblr media
"Please forgive me. "
" I was scared of disappointing someone I love so dearly."
Tumblr media
Josephine stepped away, her gaze downcast at the soaked grass. A long moment of silence followed, filled only with the sound of the rain and the soft huff from Lady as she shook her head and stomped her hoof.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Thinking any hope of reconciliation was surely gone, Lucile turned to leave, feeling the sting of rejection, Josephine suddenly grabbed her wrist.
"Lucile, wait!"
"In the kitchen’s left cabinet, that’s where we keep the good silver. It’ll fetch a good price."
Tumblr media
" I couldn’t- " "Silas would only take his anger out on you for not stopping me."
Tumblr media
" Nonsense. "
Tumblr media
" We’ll be long gone before he even realizes we’ve left."
Tumblr media Tumblr media
LETS GOOOO GODDD Do you have an idea how long I've been itching to have these sims have their first kiss. literally months. The slow burn game play was so worth it tho, I'm excited for what comes next. It's funny how this ended up being able to post in pride month! HAPPY PRIDE :D

☆♡☆♡☆♡Dream boy♡☆♡☆♡☆♡
Hobie x gn reader
Just a lil blurb thing not a whole story technically
Hobie calls you starlet or little star. I just loved the nickname starlet or anything star related when writing this.
Not edited I wrote this in between customers at work so sorry for any errors I'll edit later!
Tumblr media
Random spider person: So what are you two?
You: Nothing! I don't even know him!?
Hobie at the same time: I'm the man of their dreams *winks as his arm comes around your shoulder*
You: NO you're not get off me! *huffing as you throw his arm off and he laughs* I keep telling you just beacuse I'm dreaming and you keep showing up doesn't mean you're the "man of my dreams" *rolling your eyes as he looks at you with that sexy ass smirk and that cute, playful glint in his eyes*
Hobie: Mhm I'll believe it...when you stop popping up in front of me during your so called "dreams" *his goofy boy next door smile definitely doesn't have you grining back as you shove at him*
You: I don't! For some reason, every time I dream up this spider people filled clubhouse, you come yelling my name and following me around trying to sweet talk me. *your eyes narrow at him but your smile doesn't fall 'man does your brain know how to pick em'*
Hobie: *smile faltering as a portal the color of purple sunsets opens up behind you* Time to go.... *his hands pull you to him by your waist before coming to rest on your cheeks, making you look at him. longing and sadness in his eyes as he gives you a sad smile* try to remember me this time, yeah?
You: of course how could i forget "the man of my dreams" *your eyes search his not sure why the mood of your dream had turned somber like this. Your hands on his hips as he refuses to let go of you*
Hobie: *gives a sad chuckle* Whatever you say, doll. I'll make you love me all over again next time, regardless. Goodbye, starlet *He kisses your forehead as your eyes close the portal pulling you in*
You: *wakes up to the sound of your alarm going off. Head pounding, chest rising and falling heavily with your uneven breaths, and heart hurting. You squeeze your eyes closed and focus on your breathing. All you remember were gentle hands and.... 'goodbye, starlet' another pang to the head as the affectionate words and glitchy images came rolling through. You groan rolling over to grab your water bottle and dream journal hopeful that writing what little of the dream you remembered down would ease the ache*
You: Starlet, huh... *you whispered into the empty room touching your face expecting to feel hands holding your cheeks...not sure why..before shaking your head and getting ready for the day.* These dreams are getting out of hand.
Tumblr media
This is based off a story I was working on but haven't finished (it was gonna be long ;^; and it was just for me so i slacked). Basically I came up with the whole idea of being a different worlds "M.J." (the characters name starts with a J and in the story everyone calls her M.J. aka Ms.jay as she's a nurse at her old high-school). She's best friends/roomates with her worlds Peter Parker (doesn't know he's spider man but jokingly calls him spidey cause hes always acting all heroic and getting himself hurt even tho he's a clumsy nerd *nudge nudge* ). He recently saved her from doc ock but something went wrong during the rescue and she's been mutiverse jumping in her sleep but doesn't know it and always ends up in the spider society beacuse that's where her Peter, the person she feels safest with (for now) aka her anchor is. There's no love between Peter and M.j beacuse they're basically family and he has Gwen that they're both also best friends with.
