played dragon age 2...just simple scribbles

#dragon age tag #i doubt that will see much use again..but who knows. vvv rambling below #weird game..the characters dialogue stuff and ending were good tho :')#i've played some of the first game but it kept crashing. i knew already despite knowing nothing that this guy was going to be my type #it doesnt feel right making video game art any more bc games like this end up feeling really personal - an experience that happened to me #if i design the main character a bit and fall in love then..that happened to me..i can't make Fan Art of that..only ive been through that..#like i cant make fanart of my dear companions in bg3 despite it having been a huge part of my heart in the last year #almost 1000 hours of playtime in something i can barely talk about bc it means too much.... lol #tons of ideas and conversations and extra thoughts and scenes and emotions about all the incredible times i've been through in bg3 #and the maelstrom just rotates around intensely in my own heart forever...but that's ok too...that is so precious to me #but fortunately i already knew people that have played this game and talked/drew abt it recently so it was saved from that for me #sharing scribbly fanart on my Blog is a way to capture the feeling just after experiencing something so it has good points #witch hat atelier escapes that by not being a GAME. games are so immersive. but my wha art & feelings are incredibly immersive too #which makes it difficult sometimes now. i live a complicated and emotional life <3 i am not suited to fandom <3 #my character ended up looking so much like oru without me realising that's what i was doing. man i love that character. you know, the deeply paranoid author who made a pact with a dark entity that ultimately ended with him stranded in another dimension separated from his loved ones for years at a time? takes place in the pacific northwest? has twin imagery associated with him and a reoccurring specific piece of symbology related to the unfortunate situation they're in? doesn't ever explain the reasoning behind his actions and instead just kinda goes "bro trust me"? yeah he also wears an outer layer of clothing with elbow pads on it, that one.

I need to find someone who worded this better but. This is your friendly reminder that a woman can be as masculine as she wants. A man can be as feminine as he wants. A nonbinary person can be feminine and masculine and androgynous and whatever they want: everyone can! Your expression and appearance and hobbies etc do not have to conform within a box to be allowed to exist, do not have to match those rigid lines of societys expectation of gender roles in any way at all for you to Be the Gender you Are. You are the gender you feel you are. Your expression can be and is whatever you want, and does not have to match up to expectations.

There has been talk that Daniel left Renault to go to McLaren because of internal politics and a messy management dynamic in the team but no. The real reason Daniel left was because he understood that a driver-team principal dynamic filled to the brim with salacious, beautiful nosed, sad honey-amber eyed, olive skinned, authentic Mediterranean sexual tension that he shared with Cyril would simply have broken the space time continuum. Him sticking around with Cyril who obviously deeply loved him would have been too much. Which is why he had to uproot himself and sign up to be in that shitbox papaya with that ugly fraud Mak Frown. Daniel did that so the scales of the universe don't tip due to all that collective beauty being in one place.

Baby Alexandra was amongst the first of the CU fan art I did after I first saw the movie, so its fitting I’d make more doodles involving her around the eve of the 6th anniversary.

For the cosplay pic, I thought it’d be funny to have all the Krupps cosplay as something their creators liked.... but I opted for an unexpected meet up since it was funnier (And I think the other fans would rather pick their own cosplays.)
