needless to say, this was scrapped becaz—sure, the idea was overall wonderful—but the way i did the blue moon weed flower and the lighting was just NOT it for me at all. nuh uh (i essentially went through a major sob story era after this BUT i convinced myself it was just a phase—and guess what? IT WAS!! showed myself i own me n i do me 🗣️ WHOS THE ALPHA⁉️😈)

In the JTTW research site i keep seeing the macaque king and wind,like:

Based off of the fact i had literally nothing better to do, and the wind thing i named her "Lin Xifeng" (literally it just means Forest,Gentle wind(?) Im not chinese so i cant say for sure-) and gave her areokinesis (PIF and her finna be best friends fr)

Now,ik the macaque/monkey brother being a female is a mistranslation...... but i really dont care, if six eared macaque can replace the king,and there isnt a dragon/orangutan brother in the brotherhood i can have this/silly

honestly i would say yeah any fandom art that interprets the characters differently tends do not do as good, unless its like, yassifying them ykwim. otherwise when people dont branch out ime ive noticed it tends to go fandom art > original art > fandom oc art, and ive always wondered if thats bc when it comes to fandom ocs (especially in things with chooseable protagonists) people get territorial about their own/dont want to see the characters shipped with other fandom ocs lol. at least thats what ive observed of a lot of biowareheads

Can we just stop this doubling misconception? Idonno bout yall but the whole "This isn't how Rping should work" and "You can't care about two threads at once" is bullshit?

For one, Some of yall have like 4+ threads and get confused about doubling? That's literally what doubling is. Its having two threads but with the same person. Just because this is something that they require or would rather do, doesn't mean they don't care or are less interested in your side of things. Just because you can't give the same energy for both sides doesn't mean everyone else is also incapable.

If you only want to write your Ocs, thats literally okay. People who do double get frustrated because we just see things differently. For me personally, I like doubling because i get to help someone get the pairing they want too. I know how hard it is in some fandoms. Its a win/win for both parties.

For some people it's a business deal of sorts. And if thats how they run things and the second party is okay with that....okay. That works for them.

I say all this to say that, Doubling isn't souless or the wrong way about it. Its a different way. And thats how RP should be. Different for everybody who does it. Unique to that person. And Fun. If you see no fun in it, Okay. You don't have too. If you do see fun in it, okay. Have fun. Some of us need to accept when you aint compatible with someone else and just suck it up.

Its my city now ive been thinking about oc dynamics for the other brothers. I decided toto recycle some old fandom ocs from my preteen years bc its both funny and thematically appropriate.

The only new ones are like wendy and suzi. Suzi is sorta not new but so completely revamped and wasn’t ever really developed anyways.

I have to figure out like actual names for two bc they’ve only gone by nicknames. I also thought it would be fun to have more cartoonish/surreal characters instead of just regular people.

Kitti (nickname)- when i made her, she originally was a Boy Scout and kinda based off of spongebob. Now ive changed her to like a big sister like character except she really ISN’T. She’s the younger sister of twins, neither the brain or muscle behind their duo. She’s sweet, dense, and a stickler for order. She’s a mycologist and likes to hang out in the woods. She is dating oso im still working on their dynamic but theyre definitely childhood friends who find each other again in adulthood oso confuses her for her twin sister and is like: whoa, so you decided to become a girl!! Thats so cool can i see ur boobs since we’re old friends?? She meets oso thru totty who shes friends with bc theyre both girls.

Wendy - basically a small, loud little henchman or hypeman. She’s so so small in height and so round. She looks like a shark, has very pointy teeth, beady lil teeth, and is very scary except her voice is really adorable. She is karamatsu’s biggest fucking fan, and hyped him up as much as he does to the point where sometimes he’s embarrassed. I think she’s weird and funny bc she has a rich inner world completely detached from him that she never tells him about except for concerning bits and pieces. So far theyre my favorite bc i drew her telling kara when hes not there she goes to nurtitionland and hangs out with talking carrots. Kara absolutely adores her and tries to explain her appeal constantly but everyone side eyes him.

Sindri - I haven’t really figured it out yet bc Sindri was an oc i used to really adore. I remember having like a really lavish and dramatic backstory for him that was super serious but i kinda don’t wanna do all of that anymore but dont wanna erase all of it either. Slowly rebuilding him. I ship him w choro tho

Esaias- another recycled but kinda loved oc. He was like one of my least favorites but I had developed him a loooot. Almost all of his original characterization and background are the same, so he grew up in a paramilitary Christian cult ran by his step father and mother that only consisted of his immediate family. His childhood sucked but you wouldn’t know it bc he was the blacksheep, and thoroughly ignored but a lot of the family politics bc hes considered the illegitimate eldest. He’s actually really normal and nice and in Japan for grad school and to train under Fighting Yowai. He makes Ichi really nervous bc he’s like a normie or something but he also is really strange. They have a really funny dynamic to me but eventually hes kinda like a security blanket ichi carries and he is there basically like “damn bitch you live like this? Thats so cool can you teach me?”

Suzi - she didn’t have a very thick background, I made her when I was like literally 12 and didn’t like her very much to the point where her entire narrative was that i killed off her sister. Which is funny bc i love her now and so I killed her off too. She’s a ghost! Like a sadako/okiku type of ghost. Looks very scary and only jyushi can see her and at first he’s terrified of her but it’s really actually lighthearted and silly. His brothers are all weirded out by jyushi’s new imaginary friend but they are a loveydovey couple even tho shes dead and he aint.

I ship her with nyaa. She’s a tsundere who is obsessed with looking cool, she’s the older twin sister of kitti and she is the biggest softie ever. Literally the brain and the brawn, she’s in love w nyaa and is a crybaby. She’s really moody too, friends with ichi and kara. She wants to be goth and alt so bad but shes just shein. The tallest of my ocs. She can only handle the responsibility of taking care of Kitti, so she cant cook or clean (kitti must) but she does everything else. She’s a drop out fashion student, and a cringefail girl. The only one who can make kitti, who comes across as a big sister character be a whiny baby. I ship her with nyaa bc i think itd be funny

okay. i need to talk about this otherwise it will drive me insane. that gif set i tagged you in. in like almost all of the gifs, oc's injured hand doesn't move. which makes sense if it's hurt and all. but then when he says he'll fight for the international title, he moves his injured hand. idk if he's just trying to fight through the pain or his body is just reacting automatically to the idea of fighting while injured. with the belt corruption, it's pretty obvious it's pushing him past his previously assumed breaking point, so could it be the belt, trying to push oc more and more past limits he thought he had, even through physical injuries? idk idk. i just found that so fascinating and it probably won't mean anything on TV, but in our AU... that could mean so many fucking things

i just. love the body language in this whole thing so much honestly. you can see he really doesnt use the hand this entire time while talking, but he talks most with his face and hes clearly moving the rest of his body to get the point across

but when it comes to this, everything else in him tenses up while he moves that hand, clearly signaling pain. like look at that face. he looks so stoic like hes trying to hide the pain, only slightly blinking (which also. thats the one part he blinks in this. just. you know)

like cassidy is already stoic as fuck character, but this is like. man doesnt even show pain normally. hes clearly pushing through it tho, the hints are so small and subtle, but they are there. but also this aint normal for even him. especially if you consider the lengths he went to literally SCREAM during the match about his pain like. i understand hiding your pain and broken bones cause this is still a competitive sport and with someone constantly on the hunt for their victims weaknesses as house of black is, yeah, it makes sense

but him keeping up with character up until the point he is forced out of his zone? THATS INTERESTING

this is such a short clip but its a perfect build up to everything. im just intrigued now knowing that best friends are in action on friday, cassidy will most likely be there, aussie open has plenty of potential backup to show up to show off to him... how is that still clearly fucked up hand gonna play into all of that, and against who? how much more of this are we going to get?
