The Nature of Fragile Things
What is the nature of fragile things?
How do we seperate flowers and glasses and bombs?
I originally asked this mockingly, detracting from the very concept with my lightheartedness
“What are you because clearly I am a glass”
An cruel ode to my grotesque mental instability.
I cannot be a flower? Heavens no, that would require beauty.
I lost beauty once I was born, my mind was separated from my truth and I have been adrift since.
I cannot be a bomb? Heavens no, that would require resolve and bite.
I lost bite alongside beauty. I cannot live with myself knowing I lash out, it makes me feel so close to the thing I am not which I appear to be, a traitor to my gender.
So I am glass. I am clear and brittle and perfect.
Glass is fragile for those who are afraid to pick up its pieces.
It would burden beauty to count me among its ranks.
I am glass. I am able to shatter at the weakest pressure, edge, or threat.
And those forced to pick up the pieces have not deserved such a cruel fate.
So I am glass. I am a burden most unnecessary and cumbersome.
What were they? That much I could guess.
My graceful friend, so beautiful, kind, and caring and empathetic, with that understanding smile, unflinching forgiveness, and unrestrained positivity that flowed from them like a memory flows from the cracks of schoolyard concrete.
This person was a bomb.
Not a symbol of violence chaos and loss.
Bombs are only fragile to those afraid to trip an unknown wire.
A bomb is harmony.
This person who harbours such a deeply laid curse exceeds discipline, exceeds meditation, exceeds knowledge of their threat, the bomb fosters harmony.
The bomb understands the nature of fragile things,
There can be no shattering without substance
There can be no life without death.
And there can be no harmony without chaos
They are a bomb. Not by the length of their fuse but the strength of their resolve.
What is a flower?
There are many flowers, a thousand bombs and glasses may be thought for flowers but make no mistake, a flower is not merely what draws the eye.
Flowers are perhaps the most tragic of all.
Only a lucky flower may bloom and brighten the world of all to see.
They are the epitome of fragile things
So much of what a flower is can be seen from what they are not
Flowers are not free.
Flowers are not easygoing.
Flowers are not sculpted.
What is a flower?
A flower is the chance to create something wonderful.
A flower you can see is a beautiful sight not just because they shine, but because they survive.
A thousand flowers dream of change, to bring life to the world,
but they are choked in dry soil, choked in dark places, choked in wasted potential.
So what is the nature of fragile things?
How do we seperate flowers and glasses and bombs
The nature of fragile things is balance.
To fly is to fall
To breathe is to drown
To live is to die

Wait, so you doing cat memes?
Okay
As you can see this calico is my cat Mary, she has…..a face.
She often does her hissing SPECIFICALLY at my uncles from my mom side, idk why. She even hissed at the one she NEVER MET BEFORE. I am starting to think she has beef with them or smth.
One time, because my mother is scared for my life and didn’t want me alone at night, she allowed one of my uncles to come and sleep in the room next to me, pretty sweet guy, literally the owner of Mary’s mother.
By god, Mary was looking at him and ready to murder, he woke up with her hissing and growling at him.
Later she blamed ME for letting him stay and held a grudge against me for two days.
Maybe I’ll do a comic making it more explanatory of this problem with her and my mother’s side of the family, All tho your guess as to WHY is as good as mine.
But I should’ve known this would be her attitude if with only 5 week old she TRIED TO CHALLENGE HER OWN FATHER TO A FIGHT, LITERALLY THREW HERSELF AT HIM.
On the second to last photo I had to hold her because Sofi, my other cat, came from the Vet and Mary doesn’t like the smell of Vets.
Mary noooo 😭 they are definitely rivals in an other universe
Bottom 4th photo on the right is down right sneaky:

GOLDEN QUALITY INTERVIEW
If you have any hesitation about spending the time to watch this interview, do not delay! It's so good!
Commence rambling praise...now:
This is exactly the kind of content we could be getting if people would focus less on puff and cringe. I have no idea who this man is but he did an excellent job! The interview was well-planned, well-shot, well-edited. It was just so great. It's so rare for us to get such a long genuine conversation with JK. Usually he let's himself get spoken over by the other members or distracts us with some of his amazing singing but this is 34 minutes of pure delicious dialogue.
This interview is easily one of the best pieces of promotional content that I've seen ALL year from any of the members. Seriously, where's that guy that does communication reactions, there's so much to dig into with this. It's also a masterclass in how to conduct cross-language interviews! Really, I CANNOT speak enough about this.
Watch it...why are you still here??
