First things first: The world of Nimona is a marvellous piece of worldbuilding. That being said...
The local cuisine quite clearly is skewed towards Tex-Mex dishes.
And can we please talk about that lovely little startle of the waiter. Such a great animation! I finally fell in love when they showed him for one additional, sweet split second. With the now obsolete nachos. Poor guy. Excellent movie.

So, we get Netflix free with our phone plan...and just got notified that the Netflix version we have access to will be downgraded... to Netflix with ads. Netflix... has ads now? This defeats the whole purpose of why @netflix was invented in the first place?!?? Who the hell would pay for that, when you can just watch TV with ads... on TV? Or pirate those same shows for free, with no ads.
Netflix... you were the chosen one! It was said that you would destroy cable TV, not join them! You were to bring balance to television and streaming, not leave it in darkness!
Pictured below - actual picture of my disgust, and below that an image of Netflix's self-destructive habits finally catching up with them.
#netflix#streaming#fuck netflix#sincerely just go pirate anything halfway decent Netflix has to offer#they treat their show writers like dog shit anyways so why support them at this rate#cancelling shows bc they weren't binge-watched in the first week...that was scummy enough#streaming services have become the thing we all hated to begin with#the whole point of a streaming service is so you DON'T have commercials#various ad-block extensions I love you so much thank you for making me feel like Youtube is an ad-less safe haven

i think for me, the watcher situation comes down to this:
it's absolutely respectable that the watcher team wants to grow and produce better quality content. it's respectable that they don't want to stagnate and end up pushing the same content out over and over again. that's not satisfying for them creatively, i get that.
however, if higher quality, more heavily produced content is not what your fans are asking for, then you can't ask them to fund it.
this all-or-nothing method they've gone for is frankly bizarre. it feels like they leap-frogged all other alternatives to improving their finances and ended up here, alienating and frustrating the majority of their fanbase (the fanbase they thanked for getting them to where they are).
i think this could have gone a lot better if they:
Hadn't hyped up this video for a week.
Hadn't announced the worth it successor just beforehand.
Hadn't put out a wishy-washy, "boo hoo we're so sad about this", over-produced video.
Hadn't made it $6/month (more in a lot of countries given exchange rates).
Had considered that this means fans in specific countries literally cannot pay for the subscription due to geo/region-locking.
my ideas for improving their funds, aka things they could have tried before blowing their brand up: create their own website with two options - a free version with ads and a paid version without ads, OR make better use of their patreon/make their website extra content, not all their content, for example:
Put the ghost file debriefs on there.
Put shows like survival mode on there (or even shift that show from pre-recorded video to live-stream - live stream access to patrons and VOD access to everyone, maybe).
Put episode commentaries there.
Do reaction videos to their old buzzfeed content, talk about memories and BTS, and put that there.
Put one/two episodes of each show, per season on there (and ONLY there).
Put the episodes up there a few days early.
Make specific, website only content (that's not your main and most popular series aka ghost files and puppet history).
Record the live, in-person shows and put those VODs up there.
EDIT (thought of something else lmao): put extended or even uncut versions of ghost files on there. Paranormal Detour on Detune's twitch channel has shown that people will willingly sit through 6+ hours of a ghost investigation.
EDIT: idk, do livestreams once a week where you watch scary movies with fans on discord or twitch.
(side note: the fact that they're not taking down their patreon and instead shifting all of their podcast content on there, something the patreons who have been loyally giving them money for years didn't ask for, is ridiculous and greedy. add to this the fact that they don't even get a free sub to the new website, instead get 40% off - a measly 10% more than anyone else who subs before the official launch).
the thing for me is that they're claiming they want to make "television" and "television-grade content". that's completely fine. what's not completely fine is acting like your four episodes a month is equal to netflix's entire catalogue.
this really felt like it should have been something they told us they were progressing towards, not something they revealed to be on the imminent horizon. idk, it just feels out of nowhere. no, they don't owe us all of the info about their company. but something had to be better than this.
final thought - it's okay and valid to be upset at the team for this. for a lot of people, it's a complete betrayal (especially the comment that $6 a month is something "anyone and everyone can afford", i mean yikes). i do think some people's anger got the best of them, and some of the comments i've seen across youtube, twitter, and tumblr are plain bullying, racism, and harassment. until we have the whole story, we can't decide that one founder (aka steven in a lot of people's minds) is solely responsible. i know a lot of these awful things are only coming from a small minority of the fandom, but they still get seen.
at the end of the day, all three of them got up in front of a camera and made this video, together. that can only lead us to the conclusion that they made this decision together. acting like these men in their 30s couldn't stand up against it if they truly wanted to, is so strange and parasocial lmao.
tl;dr there were much better ways of going about this announcement, if it even needed to be made at all. however, that doesn't excuse the hateful shit being spewed at the team. for now, all we know is the three founders decided they were done with youtube, and done with their loyal youtube audience.
(i have so many more thoughts on this but i need to stop lmao. however i do wonder how different things could have been if 1. they had hired someone with actual business experience as their CEO from the jump, and 2. this video was more of a "hey we're broke! this is a last-ditch effort to save our company!". guess those questions will remain ... well ... you know ...).

Another YouTuber has talked about the Dead Boy Detectives cancellation and asked if they should do a full series where they explore each episode!
You know what to do!!!! Subscribe to Amanda, like, and comment! Thank her and tell her you subscribed and would love to see more Dead Boy Detectives content from her!

Stay positive, stay focused, keep fighting. We will save Dead Boy Detectives! I know it's easy to get bogged down, but if you start feeling pessimistic do not let that feeling consume you. Just step away for a second and breathe, do something that refreshes you, and come back when you're ready.
You're not in this alone. Netflix is banking on waiting this out until we are all fatigued and our numbers have dwindled. DO NOT give them that satisfaction. Be loud, keep streaming. We're doing great!

I’m seriously considering going back to tangible media (CDs, DVDs, etc. I never made the jump to e-books, thank god.)
In some ways it would be easy to just buy it all back on eBay or something. Secondhand CDs and DVDs are so cheap now. Lots of charity shops won’t even take them as donations anymore.
But it makes me sad to think that much of the television I’ve enjoyed in the past few years (say post 2015) is only available as streaming content. You can’t own a copy. They don’t even bother with a DVD box set release anymore, much less one with all the fun extras those things used to have. Director and cast commentaries, blooper reels, mini ‘making of’ documentaries, deleted scenes. I would love to own some new ones of those and put them on a shelf in my home. But, alas, they simply do not exist.
I watch the ‘Criterion closet’ clips on YouTube and feel wistful for the days when I would browse shelves in physical spaces for hours hunting for treasures. Scrolling through the Netflix menu is nowhere near as interesting or inspiring. I miss the sights and sounds and smells. I miss flicking through hundreds of alphabetized titles on endless shelves with my greedy fingers. Click click click ooh I haven’t seen this one! And it’s the directors cut! *adds it to maybe stack and keeps joyfully browsing*
🙁
I second everything you said. Of course, the convenience of streaming services and digital libraries isn’t lost on me, but I can’t help feeling that the difficulty of acquiring movies, TV series, or music used to make them more precious. Here in Armenia, I remember the wait — the anticipation of new VHS tapes or DVDs arriving. You’d hear rumours about new releases coming to stores, and when they finally did, it felt like a victory.
And what wonderful birthday gifts they made; receiving a movie (sometimes multiple) you knew nothing about, discovering entire worlds hidden inside those discs or tapes. And the movie rental shops! There was one near my school, and my brother and I would save up our lunch money just to rent DVDs. That sheer thrill of picking something at random, hoping it would be good, then rushing home to watch it — absolute bliss!.
Music, too. I dearly miss magnetophones. And computer games! Lending your discs to friends and borrowing some of theirs...
I miss the way physical media asked something of us; I can't help but feel like it made us engage more, pay closer attention. But isn’t it a privilege to have these memories to look back on? To have touched the things we loved instead?

It's MaxFunDrive! If you're already a MaxFun Member, all of this year's Bonus Content should be in your feed already - this year's TAZ BoCo is a one shot of Plato's Rave, with all three boys GMing while Clint is the only PC, and it is ART. The MBMBaM BoCo is a recording of the boys trying to figure out how to run that game, and it's so, so fun - honestly you could listen to either one first and I think it would work well, but imo listening to them plot how they think things will go first is a very fun way to go about it.
Sawbones has another Kid's Q&A this year, with Charlie guest-hosting along Syd and answering questions from young listeners, Shmanners has an episode and video all about emojis, and Wonderful! has a one-off return to Rose Buddies! If you're not a member yet and you wanna listen to all this great stuff, head on over to MaximumFun.org/Join and sign up at $5 or more a month! You'll get access to not just this year's Bonus Content, but all of the Bonus Content from every show, from every year we've done the Drive. There's a TAZ episode DM'ed by Matt Mercer, the Charlieverse episodes, the Prankee Doodle Dandy episode of MBMBaM, truly an abundance of s-tier goofs await!
Also we have so much other stuff planned for the Drive! We're gonna be streaming more or less daily on YouTube, starting with Griffin doing a Fuser DJ stream today at 10am ET, and then Justin and Sydnee streaming watching a buckwild Netflix movie, I Believe in Santa, around 1pm ET.
On top of all of that, we've set our own bonus goals for the Drive, starting with this: At 3,000 new & upgrading members, Fungalore will hear your wishes LIVE. What does that mean? That's such a good question. Only one way to find out! If you wanna see the rest of our goals, you can check 'em out here. If you want to stay up to date on everything we have going on this week, turn on notifications for our Instagram story, that's where we'll be posting all the time-sensitive stuff.
Last but not least, thank you. Truly, from the bottom of all of our hearts. Whether you can afford to join or not, y'all's support is the reason we all get to do this for a living, and it genuinely is a joy to get to spend our days making these goofy things in hopes of bringing a little levity to someone's day. Means the absolute fuckin' world to us. We hope you have an absolute blast during this Drive, you deserve it.

Hello, I hope you are doing well!
I saw your recent post about Thunderbolt Fantasy and was surprised to see you were there at ACen as well to see the movie! It really was awesome and such a joy to experience. I also saw that it seems you know a lot about Pili, since you said the show brought you back into it?
I'll be frank, I want to get into Pili productions because honestly? I fell in love with the show and this opened up a whole new world for me. But I only understand English sadly and I know they have media going all the way back to the 80s which is the start of it all.
My question, if you don't mind answering or at least guiding in the right direction, is how can I get into it as well? Are there translated archives somewhere? Do I have to start all the way in the beginning? I would greatly appreciate any help you can give, I wanna experience and understand way more Pili, it's gonna become a new obsession easily and I have the willpower to put in the hours!!!
Thank you so much for your time!
Hi there, thanks for your question! I did go to ACen this year to see Pili and the Thunderbolt Fantasy movie, it was a lot of fun!
I've sort of answered this before, but I'm happy to do it again. I should note that there are thousands of episodes of Pili and only a few hundred are actually translated. However Pili episodes run an hour or more so it's still a lot of content even when only a fraction of it has been translated.
I will provide links to every translated season in the order you should watch them in.
Pili Fantasy: War of Dragons

This is a remake of a very early season of Pili and is a good introduction to three of the main characters, Su Huan Jen, Ye Xiao Chai and Yi Ye Shu, as well as a couple other characters who will show up in the next seasons I list. There are sequels to this season (Doom of Dragons 1 & 2 and Broken World) but none are translated so skip them for now.
It was on netflix but now you can only watch the subbed version here
2. Legend of the Sacred Stone
Old Pili movie that will help you familiarize yourself with more characters.
15-year-old-Ini tried so hard to get hold of this movie back then, and here it is now free on the internet archive :') yaaaay
3. Pili Totem
Studio886 on youtube was given the rights to translate early Pili seasons into English and other languages. Even though they are older seasons I was actually blown away by how good they are. They kind of drop you in the middle of an on-going plot so give it a couple episodes to understand what's happening.
Basically someone is going around killing the Seven Stars and Su Huan-Jen and the others are trying to figure out who and they fall into a conspiracy trap along the way.
4. Pili Anomalous: The Dragon Domination
The next few seasons are continuations of the previous season
In Dragon Domination allegiances are divided as Su Huan Jen and Yi Ye Shu are incapacitated, and the Seven Star Lord Tiance Zhenlong fights Devildom for the control over the Central Plains.
5. Pili Sealed Spirits Island
Tiance Zhenlong is finally defeated and the prisoners of Sealed Spirits Island are released. Su Huan Jen returns?! Not a huge fan of the Demon Buddha plot tbh but still a good watch!
6. Pili Military Conflagration
The girlsdemons are fightinggg. MASSIVE DRAMA in this season, I love it. It wraps up some conflicts and starts some more.
Please note that the AI subtitles get a little sus in this season, but if you have been paying attention to the plot and characters it shouldn't be too hard to figure out.
7. Pili Nine Kings
I have not watched this season yet because for some reason Studio886 skipped two seasons after Military Conflagration.
8. Pili : The Blood Mark of She City (?)
Not sure about that title's translation... but I have not watched this yet either. I really want to though because there are vampires 👀 This season is currently being uploaded to YouTube.
9. Demigod: The Legend Begins

The last piece of translated Pili media is a movie about Su Huan Jen released just a few years ago. If you buy the dvd it has english subs on it. You can find it Nyaa and the subs in the comments, but I'm going to choose not to link it.
If you love Pili please support them by buying their dvds and merch! You can buy from books.tw they ship internationally!
I know this was a long post (sorry!) but thanks again for asking and happy watching!

Hasbro PR rep confirms TYT ending
In an email to the Twitter user My Little Pony Facts (@MLPonyFacts) on September 17, a Hasbro PR representative confirmed that My Little Pony: Tell Your Tale is ending, and the final episode will be released on October 17.
We have independently verified that this email is real; see below for details.
This means that the only two remaining episodes should be season 2 episodes 22 and 23, to be released on October 3 and October 17 respectively. This matches the most pessimistic estimate that we could previously make.
Following two seasons of exciting, slice of life content, My Little Pony: Tell Your Tale is drawing to a close. My Little Pony: Tell Your Tale has entertained fans around the world with magical adventures, while delivering positive messages about the value of diversity, inclusion, and friendship. As the series wraps up, our fans can continue to enjoy My Little Pony through innovative toys, games, and licensed consumer products that create joy and community for fans of all ages. This isn’t the end of the journey for My Little Pony – stay tuned for more magical adventures to come. The series will remain available for audiences worldwide, with both seasons available on the My Little Pony: Tell Your Tale YouTube channel and series 1 currently streaming on Netflix. New episodes of My Little Pony: Tell Your Tale will air bi-weekly until October 17, 2024.
Separately, Hasbro has confirmed that a "total brand evolution" will come in 2026, and that MLP licensing through 2025 will be focused on retro/nostalgia.
Currently, we don't know of any G5 content that will be released after My Little Pony: The Storm of Zephyr Heights issue 3, which will be published on November 20, 2024. However, IDW freelance artist Natalie Haines has said that there are still more G5 comics in the works.
Verification of the email
While My Little Pony Facts posted screenshots of the email on Twitter on September 18, we decided to wait until we could verify the information ourselves before making this post. Thanks to their cooperation, we have been able to do that.
Most modern emails contain a DKIM cryptographic signature; only the email domain's server can generate the signature, but the recipient can verify it using the server's public key.
Since My Little Pony Facts sent us the original email file that they received, we were able to independently verify the DKIM signature. This means that the email was sent to them from a hasbro.com user, and that the contents were not tampered with. We used the Python package dkimpy to check this.
We also separately emailed Hasbro about this topic on September 19. This post will be updated if we receive a response from Hasbro.

Hey, I was wondering if you knew where I could watch the next prince? I’ve never watched any thai bl or gl shows and idk where to go to get started thanks!
Welcome to the club! I'm glad you've decided to get started and I hope you try a few other shows as well and stick around for awhile!
Since you're new here, allow me to give you more information than you ever asked for 😄
Most people watch Thai (and Japanese, Korean, Taiwanese, etc) bl and gl series using a combination of the big 4:
Youtube
Gagaoolala
IQIYI
WETV (called Tencent Video in the U.S.)
The last three options are subscription based video platforms (think Hulu or netflix). Although some shows are streamed free on Youtube by production companies like GMMTV, for the majority of series, you're going to need to subscribe to at least one of these sites or pirate the series.
Each of these platforms costs about $8-12 a month for a VIP subscription which allows you to watch the series the same day they air in their respective country, with quality subs in your language of choice and with no ads. The websites have English hosted sites, are easy to navigate, and you can subscribe using Apple wallet or whatever else you are comfortable using.
Each of the them also has an app version.
Now to get more specific to your question:
The Next Prince is streaming on IQIYI. I believe the basic subscription there is $8 a month, and you will need the subscription to watch it.
If you can afford it, I would consider it worth it because, in my personal opinion, IQIYI has the biggest selection and hosts the majority of the new releases anyways.
If you can't afford it or don't want to pay, its honestly quite easy to find the shows online, although quality of the video and the subs may differ. Typically, you can find the episode you want on dailymotion simply by typing in the show name and episode you're looking for.
I think those are the basics you'll need to get started but if you ever have any questions or comments, or want a series rec, please ask or message me!

Hey, kid. Yeah. You. You want free movies and TV shows?
Well, first of all, Internet Archive. Yes, the Wayback Machine people. They have a lot of movies and shows 'n shit you're gonna have a hard time finding elsewhere. (Also, the Alien movies?????) So if you're looking for something weird or niche or old, you might wanna start your search there.
Second of all: In order to get free goodies ✨elsewhere✨, you need three (3) things.
A VPN (virtual private network)
qBittorrent (or some other torrent client, but this is really the go-to these days.)
Places to go, y'know, get stuff.
First: the VPN
This unfortunately is probably going to cost you money. Free VPNs typically collect data, are extremely slow, and/or don't even allow peer to peer downloading in the first place. Beyond that, they're more likely to turn tail and rat you out to your internet service provider (ISP) and get you in trouble. You then get a nice little DMCA letter in the mail threatening you. Get enough of those, and your ISP will kick you out of your plan with them. That's why you need the VPN in the first place--to avoid that.
Be careful to choose a VPN that won't sell your data, allows peer to peer downloading, and won't rat you out to your ISP. There are plenty of discussions about that, and recommendations you can find. Just don't blindly go for the ones you see advertised everywhere (NordVPN, for instance) as those are more likely to sell your data, which is like... antithetical to why you would be using a VPN anyway. Just read the ToS. Personally, I use Mozilla VPN, and I'm very happy with it.
Mozilla VPN, if you buy a full year, is $4.99/mo, billed annually for $59.88. As far as I can tell, this is pretty average as far as cost goes for VPNs. As opposed to spending two or three times that a month for one (1) streaming service... you're gonna save some money.
(Also, as a bonus, if you live in a state where porn websites have started requiring age verification or have completely stopped functioning, you can use this to get around that by making the website think you're in another state! Region locked youtube video? Not anymore! Nervous about being on a public network at the airport or in a coffee shop? Worry not my friend! There are many benefits to having a VPN. Just be aware that some websites and applications do not like VPNs and will flag as suspicious activity (i.e. your bank, paypal, Netflix...) and you're going to be filling out a LOT of captchas and Cloudflare might not like you. But it is what it is.)
You can also host your own VPN, but that's pretty technical, even for me, so... idk, do what you will with that information.
Second: qBittorrent
Idk man, it's qBittorrent. Just download it.
(for real tho, it's free, it's open source software (yay!) and it's not stealing your data or shoving ads down your throat. It's THE torrent client at this point.)
Third: Places to, y'know, get stuff
I gift unto you the r/Piracy megathread. Enjoy.
Frankly, most information you need, recommendations, etc. is gonna be on r/Piracy. They're a godsend. I also recommend this website for a more detailed guide on all the stuff I just put forward. I would tag the user here I got it from but it looks like they deactivated.
Also for the love of god just switch to Firefox and install ublock origin already. Trust me. Just do it. You'll be so much happier. I promise.
Okay thanks bye! Enjoy your free stuff!

bae haseul, known monomonously as haseul (korean: 하슬; born august 5, 2000) is a south korean singer, songwriter, and actress. born and raised in busan, south korea, she debuted under pinkhause company in 2019 as a member of the duo, pinkish, alongside labelmate jung “baebi” yoonah. in 2021, she would make her acting debut as yoon jiwoo in the drama, my name and her solo debut with the single, haseul.
as of 2025, she's the global ambassador for prada and gentle monster.

released june 10, 2019, sweet&salty is the debut of album of pinkhause company's female duo, pinkish. consisting of five tracks, hot pink was selected by fans to be the title track after a weeklong vote one month before the album's release. sweet and salty was a bigger success than expected. a contender for album of the year, nicknamed the album of the summer, and first day streams nearing the milions — it was truly baffling to most that it'd be be the first and only time the duo released an album together. with haseul's debut in 2021, fans were convinced the album had only been used to test the public's reception of haseul and aid in her solo's success.
promotions for the album included stage performances, behind the scenes dance practices, and the youtube series sweet time featuring yoonah and haseul competing in baking competitions alongside other idols.
in 2023, the tracks easy and lachata would gain special videos—no doubt to distract fans from the fact that they were nawt getting a pinkish comeback.

haseul made her solo debut on march 5, 2021 after two years of silence following the release of sweet&salty. the single, named haseul, was co-written with yoonah leading to rumors that the single had been scrapped from pinkish. however, several "pink sessions" were uploaded to youtube showcasing many jam sessions between the two with the final pink session ending in the creation of the single, haseul. thanks to these sessions, it had been revealed that haseul was supposed to be a much longer album complete with five extra songs. haseul admitted the songs just "weren't good enough" at the stage they were at with a promise to complete them for her comeback.
the single did well earning haseul her first solo win one week into promotions. at that years mama, she would perform the song alongside yoonah leading to rumors a pinkish comeback was right around the corner. ( spoiler: it wasn't ).

haseul would formally open her own instagram account during her solo promotions, no longer relying on pinkish's social media to interact with fans.
photos with / of yoonah, behind the scenes at award shows, pink session snippets, and photos with ateez's yunho make up the bulk of her account.

─── haseul, airing 20XX on Netflix.
born the only daughter of a schoolteacher turned housewife and a chicken shop owner, the last thing bae haseul ever wants for her life is to end up boring or, worse, mediocre. when the opportunity to change her life presents itself in the form of pinkhause company she jumps at the shot, nailing her auditions and formally debuting as haseul of pinkish. as her insecurities grow her company's faith in her starpower lessens. add a growing crush on her labelmate, yoonah, born from a playfull kiss at their debut afterparty and haseul's path to fame is looking more like a path to disaster. maybe her normal life really was the better option.
find baebi over @baebiii !!

dead boy detectives but i've never watched it (read: 0% plot 100% gay summary)
[HI MAGGOTS IT'S 11:16 PM ON 6TH MAY HERE AND I'M ONLY NINETEEN FOR A LITTLE WHILE LONGER AND I'M GONNA DO MY BEST TO SAVE THIS AMAZING SHOW BECAUSE SO MANY OF YOU LOVE IT. BECAUSE OF THE HORRORS™ IN MY BRAIN (aka depresso) I HAVEN'T WATCHED IT AS SOON AS IT CAME OUT, BUT THAT MEANS I CAN MAKE THIS POST]
BUT ANYWAY, THANKS @anthropomorphique FOR THE IDEA, HERE'S WHAT I'VE FIGURED OUT, ABOUT DEAD BOY DETECTIVES:
There is dead gay repressed Edwardian twink named Edwin.
He has that autism rizz.
A cat king god (a cat who is a god? a god who is sometimes a cat? a god of cats? a god of kings? a king of cats? the cat of a king? the king of cat gods? the god of cat kings? WHAT IS HE IDK BUT HE'S A GAY LIL SLUT) wants to do the ol' hanky panky with him.
A lot of people want to do the ol' hanky panky with him. He be pullin' bitches.
Except for the bitch he's in love with, his best friend and soul partner, Charles.
Charles is full of Charm and Whimsy and Making Friends.
He has trauma.
(The previous point was obvious to me after learning point 6 but then I realised maybe I should be clear)
There's a... some kind of creature named Niko and she reads a lot of explicit gay manga.
She tries to use it to help Edwin out of his repression I think. I don't know if it works. Edwardian bitches do be repressed like that.
She has... a deadly parasite? That's a lesbian relationship?
Are lesbians deadly parasites? I do not know. I am too much in awe of lesbians to ask them.
The Cat King gives Edwin white lilies. Like I said, Edwin got that 'tism rizzm.
Niko and Edwin are weird besties.
CAITLIN REILLY IS IN THIS IDK WHO SHE PLAYS BUT SHE IS SUCH A GOOD ACTRESS I'VE BEEN A FAN OF HER FOR YEARS FROM YOUTUBE CAITLIN REILLY IS IN THIS *SCREAMS*
THIS IS PART OF THE SANDMAN UNIVERSE!! So @neil-gaiman is not the show's creator, but it is his universe and a bunch of his characters and he wrote a few scenes I think?? IDK SANDMAN FANS COME HELP ME.
Edwin goes to hell and Charles saves him? I think?
Death is very lovely.
OH THEY SOLVE MYSTERIES OF GHOSTS SO THEY CAN BE DEAD I FORGOT TO MENTION THE PREMISE OF THE SHOW HELP I'M SORRY I WAS SO FOCUSED ON THE GAY
EDWIN AND CHARLES LOVE EACH OTHER VERY MUCH
AND THEY HAVE... THE REST OF FOREVER TO FIGURE IT OUT?
UM THERE'S A PLOT I SWEAR I JUST DON'T KNOW WHAT IT IS I'VE JUST SEEN MAGGOTS SCREAMING ABOUT THE GAY
...GAY.
Okay so so so this show needs a second season but apparently Netflix's thinking of cancelling it because not enough people are streaming it (IT'S BARELY BEEN OUT A WEEK OR SOMETHING WTF??) so PLEASE GO WATCH IT EVERYONE WHO'S SEEN IT LOVES IT AND I CAN'T WAIT TO WATCH IT RAGH ANYWAY I LOVE YOU EITHER WAY HAVE THE LOVELIEST OF DAYS <3

So Glitch announced their new deal with Amazon Prime distributing their shows on their platform starting with Murder Drones, and that’s fantastic news because Glitch will get farther reach with their shows while retaining full rights and creative control.
However…a lot of people are reporting that their MD-related videos (reaction videos, fan projects, etc) on YouTube are being copyright struck by Amazon, and are getting demonetized or taken down entirely. If I’m understanding correctly even Glitch’s own MD videos are being demonetized, which is concerning as I’m sure YT will still remain Glitch’s main source of revenue since it’s the most accessible. I can only assume this is a bot-related error because I know Glitch would never agree to such conditions as a very community-based studio that encourages fan engagement and creativity.
I can only hope that Glitch will act quickly and resolve the issue because it’s going to be detrimental to the entire Glitch fan community and not just MD as the deal specified it would include future Glitch shows (which I assume would include The Gaslight District, Knights of Guinevere, and possibly TADC even though it’s also streaming on Netflix). The reason these series have flourished as much as they have is in large part due to their thriving fan communities producing art, animations, etc and discussing the and reacting to each episode. To take away any aspect of that community—especially thanks to what essentially boils down to corporate greed on Amazon’s part—would do major damage.
(Note that I am not at all blaming Glitch or accusing them of selling out—on the contrary, they’ve made amazing strides for the indie animation industry and it’s incredible to see their shows appearing on major streaming services, but this seems like an entirely unprecedented issue that will hopefully be corrected)
#murder drones#glitch productions#posting this here because I have more glitch fans following me in general than on my main#jester tea
