- He/They

- Also sorta It/Its, but that's more of a holdover from being treated as a lab experiment for their first few months of existence. More so that he doesn't really protest if you do refer to them as it/its + he's used to it.

- Transmasc/Genderfluid. Flipflopping between em . AFAB varies on being Ambivalent to Liking dresses, though doesn’t w/ uniform.

- Doesn't really label their sexuality (don’t mind labels, but isn’t going outta their way to), although presents/reads as demi cause of. trauma/trust issues, and. all that.

- Madelis & Geara introduced him to the general concept of LGBTQ+ and Nastasia gave him a list of pronouns, genders, sexualities, and other terms/etc., later

- kinda considers Geara & Madelis his first friends, although he’s aware these aren’t very… typical friendships. Or all that healthy. Or would actually be considered friendships by almost anyone else.

- person they’re closest to is Geara

- Xen execs have the kill switch like grunts do -> It essentially got injected into him while they were being made. It’s. It’s in one of his bones or smth.

- Does have psychic powers* but the scientists/researchers taking "care" of him unintentionally trained it out of him because they at first they confused it with possible Archetype powers and they were super harsh/annoyed about it w/ him. So he just. internalized that psychic powers Weren't Allowed.

Yeah Xen Mages exist but that seems to be a different type of magic, also Zetta reasoned that. He Isn't a Xen Mage. So. He's not Allowed to. Xen Mages are Allowed. He is Not.

* = Mainly telepathy & telekinesis, though he is/would be able to divine/tell the future if he trained up his psychic powers.

Either (flip flopping between them) the other execs find out and explain that it's fine (and very encouraged, actually. A psychic Xen Exec would be useful), so they'll casually use telekinesis or, presumably when Melia gets him and there's like. down time or smth. Melia/The Team sorta tell him it's. fine. As long as he doesn't try anything. w/ Team Xen I feel like Nastasia and/or Geara would help him the most with his powers, cause. yk. psychic/deoyxs specialist & someone generally experienced with supernatural shit.

- Has (mainly) needle scars from being experimented on. Also some light surgery scars.

- They has long hair. He braids it up.

- Tbh if they ever had to go undercover/disguise themself in public he'd literally just need to keep his hair down and change his clothes lol.

- likes moon-stargazing. - saw the sky/sun/generally the outside world about 2 months after being created. Saw the actual outside world that isn't the Badlands about 3 months after creation; stopped dead in his tracks before being pushed to continue the mission, though when he had the downtime he essentially spent all of it just exploring/looking around. - Photography hobby if he was Allowed/able/was plausible in Xen in way possible. (cough cough melia similarity)

- Genuinely doesn't understand the idea of a day off/vacation that isn't for rest (ex. Madelis taking a day off to go shopping or smth)

- Gave themself the last name Silvallia from Silvally. (He loves his dog‼️)

- The Type:Null/Silvally was originally from Geara (from Wispy Tower) and turned them over/had them taken care of by the Research/Science wing of Team Xen; Geara technically had main ownership but didn't really care for them. Zetta met the Type:Null as he was coming in & out of the testing/being experimented on and became fast friends, so Geara gave them to Zetta and let him name them. - Zepto was Zetta's first pokemon.

- He got his Typhlosion/Cyndaquil indirectly from Jenner.

- He, his Weavlie/Sneasel & his Meowth/Purrserker all take care/help with each other's hair(or feathers, in Weavile's case) whenever they have the time.

- Let's his Absol leave and come back as she wants to find disasters. Main stipulation is that she has to not be followed back to HQ.

- Found Minior while stargazing (Noticed falling minior & found the Moon Field).

- Found Dratini/Dragonair after getting out of the pocket dimension on Terajuma

- Understands Pokemon

- play fights with them when he’s by themself

- Doesn't know his birthday (duh). Eventually made it the day he chose his name as Zetta - old "name" was M^21, "M" or "21"

- Math nerd

- "Zetta" is more just the translation of his old code name. It's still technically just a number. I flip flop between him considering the name "Zetta" as a code name (and therefore doesn't have an actual name) or Zetta being his actual name (and therefore doesn't have any seperation of agency/identity from Xen). - (I really do like the word "zetta" itself + him being a math nerd and therefore naming themself Zetta).

- considers his coat like a safety blanket. Essentially feels too vulnerable/exposed w/o it.

- internally considers Melia as his big sister.

- Identity/Autonomy issues

- complicated feeling abt Jenner… (Jenner doesn’t particularly know that Zetta is a clone off Melia. He knows Zetta’s a lab experiment. This is entirely from that relationship chart where Zetta’s like “worst step dad ever” and Jenner’s like “I’M WHAT”)

- Coordination problems during their first month of existing (still has some, every once in a while).

- Their skin feels weird/has an odd texture (It's the solosis/reuniclus membrane being translated into human form).

- They are particular about textures.

- Autism (pokemon autism????)

- Understands things in a very... uh. Clinical way? Like they're sorta particular about defining/organizing things like a file cabinet or smth. This is part from being raised in a research center. So. yeah. If. That makes sense.

- Is also particular about things being equal/balanced (if he is Allowed), if that makes sense.

- He's lighter or heavier on his feet (usually lighter) than the average person. Heavier when he remembers that he's walking (in the same way one remembers they're breathing), and then lighter than most cause the Solosis line floats and he unintentionally sorta/slightly does.

- Going off on that too, Weight-wise, he also reads as a bit lighter than he actually is, if that makes sense.

- melts in (verrrrrrrrrry) high stress

- Isn't affected by weather/climate (Overcoat ability). ("It's fucking hot as hell here how the fuck are you still wearing a wool turtleneck???" "[idk noise 🤷]") - Also looks oddly dry in rain/skin looks hydrophobic in rain.

- Likes Sweets (Naive nature) (aghfaouughhh smth smth naive nature zetta being born in team fucking xen of all place😭)

- He's still. Sorta naive. Like he takes things at face value. Depending on what it was or smth he maybe figure it out a bit later. Just. Yeah. asifshouughhhh

- Don't always consider it but naive -> serious nature (he loses his sweet tooth...😭)

- (Ok this isn't really a hc set in stone it's more speculation mixed with a Schrodinger's headcanon). Look. Look. If the solosis in the Nightmare Casino Zetta fights us with could be presumed to actually represent irl Zetta. Either Team Xen literally hatched a Solosis and experimented on them, or Crescent reverse candied the fuck outta him. And. I don't know which one is worse

- Going off on that he could totally just. Casually munch on EXP Candy. ("...What the fuck are you eating." "Some candy." "That's EXP Candy." "....yeah?" [Exasperated & Incredulous sigh]) Or he adds the small ones into his coffee or smth like you would sugar packets.

On a side note. I percieve EXP Candy as sort of. Condensed (healthy) stress? Going off the logic in this, the logic behind simply leveling up is a Pokemon gaining (healthy) stress in battle, aka. Well. Experience. So. To a human that might as well be a condensed heart attack/adrenaline shot. So the other Executives have the general idea that Zetta is. Probably not a normal human.

Additionally they (subtly) alluded to the fact that they're a lab experiment/generally born-created unusually (but not that they're a pokemon), and the other Xen Execs sorta figured out he's literally ever only known Team Xen.

- Can take at least a hit from a [strong] pokemon move like it's nothing/a minor inconvience. (Source: *gets hit w/ a Charge Beam that knocked out other people in one hit* "...ouch?"🤷) - On a side note the fainting right after and getting back up after a minute was like. Half a hint to him being a pokemon, yeah?

- Not so much a headcanon but. Yk. there's this line, from (I think) Madelis, that said they had talked about their motives for joining team Xen, and Neved & Nastasia didn't tell. I'm wondering what the hell Zetta could've said. His motive is not dying. His motive is the circumstance of literally knowing nothing else.

Colonist Gracie is a bit of a crybaby, and wants "Ancient Junk" around the colony, which I can't help with. We're doing what we can for her smokeleaf need, but it's not enough.

Luckily Debby kicked the crap out of her and left her bedridden for several hours, which should make her think twice before going on any more insulting sprees.

With seven hours left on the ship reactor startup cycle, another siege came upon Eureka. It was Yttakin again, and surprisingly there were no distant relations in this group.

Sadist Hazrov was allowed to take a crack at it with our singular mortar, and managed to blow off three whole legs in a single shot (two from one guy, one from the dude standing beside him)!!

They attacked us after that, but a combination of turrets, an army of well-trained attack animals, and lots of cool colonists with good combat skills was enough to send them fleeing pretty quickly.

WOW I FINALLY FINISHED THIS SET. There were a lot of things I wanted to get right for them so I took some extra time but hopefully it was worth it! The guild for this set is Cobalt Heart- a guild with focus on maritime missions, lead by (of course) guildmaster Neptune. There was no other planet I could've picked for his namesake lol. They're the guild I jokingly call the most jockish, but some moreso than others. I really do hope I did all the characters justice, but if you wanna know more about the individual members, it's under the cut as usual!

Name Origin: The planet named for the god of the ocean

Pronouns: He/him

Ethos (Power): Ocean wave (Control over water- stronger with sea water)

Flaw power is based on: Originally based on his overly relaxed go-with-the-flow nature, but since becoming a father and guildmaster he's matured, and his power grew from simple wave control to more powerful control over the ocean's water. Waves aren't always peaceful, but he's become someone who understands their power and the responsibility needed for it.

Notes: If it's unclear, the marks on his chest are meant to be top surgery tattoos, but in cool wave shapes!

Name Origin: Neptune's moon, aptly named for his son

Pronouns: He/they

Age: 24

Summary of Art 2024 before NY's?! Crazy!! Happy Holidays~

For the last 4 years (more mindfully and successfully the last two), instead of yearly goals/ resolutions I've been setting "mindsets". Making art is a process of expressing my soul burning bright, with whatever fuels it at the time, so taking care of my body and mind has been essential in keeping the relationship healthy, happy and on the dance floor. I am pretty sure I've noted somewhere what I wanted to do this year project wise (or it was so intense it got printed on my brain), which was finish at least one project and find my answers on what it means to me to "want" and "have to". The latter is still a wip, but more on that on the DW entry under the cut, hehe~

::Quick Summary

January, February, March: Mostly messing around doodling and half-jokingly working on skull-anatomy because I was busy out of my mind studying & working on a long project || April: Project working, moved to my village to focus, played The Sims2 after over a decade, paperwork hell, streaming nights~ || May: Major win!! project finish, Convention Time! || June: Moved out & patiently building energy lvls again.. 🐚 || July: Picked up the pencil & drew a bunch of Sephiroths in my sketchbook, read books, physio </3 || August: Going on a skull-spree!! (also still a wip but I'll learn to draw faces no matter what!!) || September: Chaniartoon Fest, sketches, paintings, wips, making buttons for the first time and as if all weren't enough-- baked banana bread(s) and went off to get the Open Water cert. after so many years (／ˍ・、) || October: drawing for my friends gives me life and is the best thing I've done this month ♥ || November: con prep, back to class while simultaneously working, zine work, dog-sitting!! || December: work, zine, homework, loads loads LOADS of music?! �� (((*°▽°*)八(*°▽°*)))

Fun facts:

Started reading literature this year. Had a blast (and got blasted, in multiple ways).

In one of my dives (scuba) I threw up in the sea in front of a tourist boat, those that have glass bottoms. No one will forget that at the centre. I got the reputation now.

(I apologize in advance for the long answers, I just love answering stuff like that and I have a lot to say :] )

7. Your favourite tropes to read/write/draw

(I love them all the same, but it is slightly different for each, so I'm making a destinction)

Read: Honestly, kidnapping. I love characters getting kidnapped, and their loved ones worrying/rescuing them. This also includes more-or-less any type of 'going missing'-plot (incl. Char A just running away themselves). Just the feeling of "I have no idea where or how they are, and if they're even still alive", and then the relief when they meet again. Hmmm

Write: 'The world has been cruel and hard to you - therefore I won't be. I want to show you the beauty it has to offer, too <3' This is the best way I can describe it. Characters who've just had a rough time/life being unconditionally cared for and supported. Getting everything their heart has desired for so long. Short: Hurt/Comfort

Draw: While I have yet to draw this myself, actually (because humanoids are hard), any drawing of one character being hurt or scared, while another stands over them caringly and protectively - obviously willing to kick some ass if needed - has me go wild.

8. You hope more people will come to appreciate ___ (a ship, a trope, an episode, etc)

I understand that some people find the market oversaturated by now - that's valid - but still: Redemption

I love redemption so much. I want the story to gently cup a character's face and say "You are broken, but not beyond repair. You can get better, and be happy, and be surrounded by people you love and that love you back." They don't even necessarily need trauma or have gone down a super dark path, I also enjoy: "Character is a massive jerk, and we follow them down the road of being less of a jerk". These are honestly the main reasons both the 'Good Uncle Sly' and 'Apple Cousins' AUs exist.

There are few exceptions I can think of, of villains I'm personally obsessed with, and have not made a version of, where they are redeemed. I look at Reginald Bushroot, and Camille Chameleon, and the Dark Curse - and while for some more than others - there will usually be something at the back of my mind asking: "What if you didn't have to? What if you found love? What if you got to live a quiet, gentle life? What if one day you realized you live in a reality you would never have imagined come true? In a good way? What if everyone could be okay?"

11. If you're a writer or artist, what fic or piece of art are you proud of making?

Fic: Family Discount

I was honestly surprised how many people liked that fic. Between 11 fics in total, this one definitely has some of my favourite comments (and it also has a surprsing amount of comments, I didn't expect that tbh). I was a little worried about posting a fanfic chapter-by-chapter, because the last time I tried that I basically (though not officially yet) stopped after one, because I can't write slice of life, it seems.

But so many people got emotionally invested in my writing, and I honestly didn't expect that? But even though I'm forced to take a semi-long break (for exam reasons), it is extremely motivating, and makes me feel that (as vague as it sounds), my stories do do something. How much joy the stuff you make can bring other people, is honestly so cool. Even if it's just a little fanart, or an ask, or a slightly-self-indulgent fanfic :)

I'm proud of having actually got this far, and also having written something me and other people love to read

I'm actually a little embarassed of this drawing, which I know sounds counter-intuitive to the prompt, but I swear, there is a reason it's here!

This is my first, and currently only drawing of the Flim-Flam-Brothers

I had basically no idea what I was going to do with their designs, and I also only had 60min, with limited tools (because Colormari)

But the thing about this drawing, was that our prompt was basically just "New Years Resolutions". And mine was that I wanted to create more art, without getting bossed around by my inner sense of cringe. Because, while I have absolutely no problem with ranting and rambling and talking about my favourite characters all over the place; as soon as I want to put them into any form of art, my organs feel like they'll turn me inside out. It's the reason this blog has dozens of rambles about how much I love Darkwing Duck, and yet zero art of any of its characters (made by me).

But I made this - and kept it around - even though I knew the characters wouldn't look the best.

So this is the drawing I'm most proud of, because it actually exists :)

Advice from experience: Be VERY careful on spending money on games, especially if what you're spending money on is like, limited events and shit.

Once you're in, you're IN and it's very, very hard to get out of mostly because of guilt and not wanting to put down stuff you've spent hours grinding for.

Hey guys. Some of you guys would have heard by now that the philippines will face four typhoons consecutively. I'm currently in the middle of preparing, with the funds my partner gathered for me last month; only I've come across a couple of problems; firstly. That our fridge broke. We live in a wooden house, and when it rains, our walls are very damp due to my country's general humidity. I suppose it caused some short circuiting in some of the wires. I've had the fridge repaired, but it also spoiled 2-4 days worth of food. Secondly. My mom's wallet got stolen. It had around 150 usd in it, that was supposed to go to our groceries for the last leg of November. I've been unable to find work on twitter, as a dying platform. And I am somewhat late in fulfilling my October commissions.. I have not been able to make art as a hobby.. in almost 2 months. None of my social media is growing because I work 10 hours every day, and I'm too exhausted to draw afterward. I have around 3 jobs, and with dollar dramatically falling, while food prices continue to skyrocket.. I am drowning. I am the only person in our house who works. All my three family members are disabled. I pay for my sisters tuition fees, I'm pretty much her parents in all respects. Elon Musk destroyed one of the platforms where most of my clients come from. And my other work will only pay me once I deliver 200 pages of work. Humbly, again, asking for help, prayers. Anything.

hi simblr, it's my birthday today! virgo supremacy! I decided to share one of my favorite recolors i've ever made (finally!!!). I sticker-ed up the City Living keyboard and added some other fun swatches. There is a functional version for use with the City Living EP, and a non functional deco version for both the floor and the wall! More info + download below the cut!

DETAILS:

This is a recolor of the keyboard that came with City Living, and the deco mesh separated by @pixlmonster. Unfortunately this means CL is required, I'm sorry! I was hoping the deco versions would work without CL but they do not. Mesh by pixlmonster is included.

There are 19 swatches. The first 6 are the more unique sticker-ed swatches, and some of my personal favorites. Swatches 7-11 are more patterned recolors, and the last 8 swatches are from @pictureamoebae's fluoro-pop collection. Sometimes you just need a neon pink keyboard, y'know?

I'll be super honest: It's been a year since I first initially started this project and I didn't do a great job recording where I got all of the stickers used. I apologize. Some of them were in game assets already, found via petaluhsims' sticker sheets. Some were found via google/freepik and some came from other places that I'm sure I'm forgetting. I made the parental advisory + seattle grunge stickers on the first swatch myself. Simlish fonts were found via franzillasims' font masterpost. Thanks so much to all of the original sticker/pattern creators, all credit goes to them. I just compiled a bunch of stuff together.
