It was warm today, bright sun on his feathers, he was particularly frivolous today, he had preened himself and washed himself in the bowl, there were some very pretty crows flitting around the garden, it was breeding season after all, and in his long life, unnaturally long, though he didn't fully realise it, it always went like this, he settled down, made a nest, made a family, and again, and again, he noticed somewhat that his breeding partner always lived longer than the other crows, but she always ended up dying.

He didn't die. It wasn't fair.

He wouldn't think about that right now, right now it was time to start anew, yes. Yes it was, he called out. This would be the last time. Yes it would be.

If feelings could kill, Arthur would murder with sheer apathy, but he always got a little better in spring and summer, normally he couldn't care less about most things, and she knew this, but it was sort of nice to see some light return to his eyes.

He loved his crows dearly, he loved her dearly, he loved her brothers dearly, he loved his cat dearly.

Those were possibly the only things keeping him sane, she didn't know, couldn't be sure with him. But she did love her birds, so it wasn't too much of a far stretch to think that the little feathered creature that had been his for over a millennia would be close to his heart, regardless of what material it was made of at the moment, he was watching them, Christopher was he called?

It would make more sense to call a robin that, Christopher robin, but that crow had been around when she was a child, it was an oddly affectionate bird, all things considered, and he used to love sitting on the headboard of any chair or sofa she was sitting on, especially in the library during winter, watching over her, it was a little ominous yes, but he never did anything to her, it was like he was reading over her shoulder. She swore he understood everything they said.

Arthur spoke up, his voice was oddly hoarse, according to Rhys he had just been on a bender a week or so ago, and it showed, his hair had still a vague tinge of green, he looked a little more worse for wear than usual in general "How long do crows normally live Eleanor?"

That was an odd question, and something she was sure Arthur already knew the answer to, he was staring out the window, he seemed a little absent at the moment, nursing a now warm cup of tea, he was odd today, but she said nothing of it.

"Round 10 or so years in the wild, nearly 60 in captivity. Why?"

Flat, "Nothing, just wanted to know."

There was something off about him but she couldn't place what.

She asked slowly, like one would do to a frightened cat, oddly enough those similarities had always been there, even as he supposedly calmed down, still a little feral, especially when in such moods "How long have you had Christopher anyways?"

He looked at her, rather looked through her for a moment before bringing himself to look at her face, he looked tired, she usually didn't feel worried for him, that would be a waste unless he was physically hurling his guts up so much he couldn't stand, but he had just been off for a while now.

"Hmm, it's been a while, a thousand years at least, why do you ask?"

She looked out at him preening and looking pretty, a thousand years or more was a long time, she couldn't really fathom such a timescale, and crows were smart animals, they experienced grief just like humans, how many mates had he run through over the centuries, crows lived a long time naturally if give the right conditions, and under the influence of another immortal creature, they lived longer still. But they still did die.

Crows were social animals, generations often visited their parents, how would Christopher feel, how would he know really, that he would always outlive his children.

Yet he kept at it, flirting with many an inquisitive female, Arthur seemed to be thinking along the same lines, they were both quite similar in a lot of respects, foul temper, snarky, blunt, acidic, many had pointed it out, a love for birds somehow wheeled its way through too, but she was much younger, far, far younger; she couldn't read his face like he could read hers, he shut everything down sometimes, like Matthew did.

“Are you sure you want to go alone? I can come with you, meet you there tomorrow.”

“I appreciate the offer, but I’m sure we’ll be fine,” Henrique replied as he tried to focus on changing lanes mid-sentence. Once he was safely over, he resumed his conversation with Arthur over the phone, and said, "Besides, I don't think he'd be thrilled to see you at the door, of all people. No offence."

"None taken," Arthur assured him. "I wouldn't be there for him, though. Remember that. If you need me at any point, just tell me. I’ll be right over.”

Henrique didn’t want to tell him how silly he sounded over the phone. It was a kind gesture, though entirely unnecessary. He would be fine. All he was doing was visiting Antonio for a week and… doing whatever he could to make him feel better.

‘I don’t know what to do. You said to call you if I ever felt— Well, lost, right? And I’m lost, Henrique. I-I’m so lost right now…’

The words heard only that morning crept up on him, came to hang around his shoulders like a heavy scarf. He’d woken up to a voicemail left for him in the middle of the night. And as soon as he’d heard it, he’d called Antonio back and had arranged to spend a week with him—even if Antonio had protested and insisted he was fine, that he’d been drinking, that he didn’t need the company…

…Frankly, that had only made Henrique pack his bags quicker.

“Let me know once you get there, won’t you?”

Henrique refocused on the road (he was glad it was quiet) and said to Arthur, “I will. Maybe not right away, but… I’ll text you.”

“As long as. That’s all I can ask for,” Arthur replied. 

There was a moment, then, in which Henrique thought Arthur would say more. The pause was not quite a pause—not quite a finale. But, if he did want to say more, he didn’t. Instead, he told Henrique to drive safely, and promised to speak to him soon.

Henrique did not force further conversation. Perhaps, for the sake of himself and other road users, it was for the best.

With an hour left of his journey, the only company Henrique allowed himself was the radio. Some of the songs he knew, and others, he was less familiar with. At least they helped pass the time, singing words that were seldom appropriate for how he felt, but that seemed to do their best to uplift him.

In turn, with time passed signs—so many signs pointing him towards all the wrong cities, the wrong towns, the wrong places. He needed a sign that took him directly to Antonio, the fastest route available. He had a route mapped in his mind but even as he followed it, the thought lingered: what if there's a faster way?

Henrique was worried.

He had adored Mrs. Vieira with all his heart, wouldn’t have survived without her and her strict former schoolteacher precision throughout the years, but it was nice to see the front desk finally clear of all her grandchildren’s photos and porcelain cats. Kirkland was looking curiously at him when he finally looked up. He was handsome in his own way, with faded freckles scattered over the bridge of his nose and old teenage acne scars. Antonio’s voice came back to haunt him in his mind and Gabriel stepped back from his desk, glancing down at his wristwatch.

That "Helia's body type/build" you swiped off of Instagram and couldn't bother finding a credit to is Gabriella Fortune on Instagram. A quick Google image search would have told you that. Please do better when trying to credit models, especially when they didn't give you permission to use their likeness for your rp in the first place

Umm...I woke up to this so I'm just going to bullet point my thoughts because I'm too tired to form proper paragraphs yet.

Thank you for providing a name! I don't have Instagram but I'll look for her and link her page if I can find it.

I didn't get this off of Instagram, I got it off of Pinterest. A site notorious for not having links to original posts. I mentioned this in the tags on that post.

I do struggle with using the Internet still as I have not always had a large amount of access to it and when I did it was always heavily monitored until my adult years. I will do my best to remember that images can be searched as well going forward.

What do you mean 'didn't give permission to use likeness'? I'm not using her as a faceclaim. I'm not using the images for profit or claiming them as my own. I used two images to give myself and followers a visual reference on a Tumblr roleplay blog. You're acting like this is a professional publishing company or some sort of brand endorsement when it's just Tumblr rp.

The way you worded that makes it seem like if I have any irl reference claim I'm expected to ask their permission first and that's crazy. I doubt that anyone else on this site has asked Hozier or Dove Cameron or Regé-Jean Page or Nicola Coughlan or Charithra Chandran their permission to use them as their faceclaim or voiceclaim.

Lastly, if you are going to be mean/rude about offered help then I don't want it or you as a follower. This is my space where I escape from my shit life to partake in my favorite hobby. Please have a good morning regardless and once again thank you for the name of the woman in the photos.

Some quick Mother's Day thoughts involving my next gen ocs...

Lolopechka with Maris, Neave, and Petrus

Maris spends the most time with Lolopechka as she's the future queen of Heart. Lots of their time is spent with lessons on magic and ruling.

On Mother's Day, Maris and Lolo simply sit down and picnic together. No talk of queenly duties or magic.

Neave gushes about her friends abroad and Lolopechka remarks on them with her memories of befriending Noelle, Mimosa, and Nero.

Petrus and Lolopechka actually have a garden together since Earth and Water Magic work well for growing plants.

Mother's Day is when they pick a bunch of flowers and put together bouquets for the citizens. Petrus always keeps some extra to make fill a vase for Lolopechka.

Dorothy with Winifred

Winifred is Dorothy's adopted daughter. Dorothy never really cared to figure out where Winifred came from and just loves her kid.

On Mother's Day, Dorothy and Winifred play a fun game of tag while using their magic.

Dorothy is the undefeated Magic Tag champion.

Winifred puts on a one-woman play using her Illusion Magic, retelling stories she's heard from Dorothy, but with the worst accuracy possible.

Dorothy has a magic tool to record the performances and she's shared some with her friends.

Dorothy's favorite performance is Winifred's retelling of Nozel and Helia's wedding. It's so inaccurate (in the sense that Winifred depicts it going much more smoothly) that Nozel is frankly offended.

Mereoleona with Leoray

Mereo and Ray go on a hunting trip together!

Ray still can't kill as many beasts as Mereo can but she doesn't get discouraged because Mereo's encouragement is always in her ear.

"You've got more fire than that!" "Knock another one down! You have it in you!" "You've got this! You've got it right!"

Mereo's favorite hunting trip was the year Ray tried to eat raw meat the way Mereo did. And Mereo had to perform the Heimlich since Mereo could use her magic to cook the meat as she swallowed but Ray had no such ability.

Mother's Day is the only day Leoray gets a chance to brush her mom's hair. Mereo is usually fine as it is, but she admits that the hair brushing is a nice way to bond. Even if it doesn't take that long with Mereo's short cut.

Holly (oc) with Eirlys and Ferro

Eirlys and Holly read a book of poems dedicated to motherhood together.

Eirlys's favorite poem from the book describes motherhood like an embrace, warm and inviting and so comfortable. But something that will have to let go eventually.

Holly's favorite poem is a mother's perspective seeing her daughter become different from the mother herself.

Ferro gives Holly ice figurines each year. They become more refined and detailed with each year. Holly keeps all the figures in a magic cabinet so they don't melt.

After many years, Ferro recreates the cake topper used at Holly and Solid's wedding and it becomes Holly's favorite. Solid would see it and wonder where Ferro learned of the cake topper.

Holly thinks Ferro would make for a lovely sculptor if he wasn't so dead set on becoming a Magic Knight like Solid.

Nebra with Skylar and Elana

Once they're old enough, Skylar and Elana research and scout cities throughout the kingdom to take their mom out for a day out on Mother's Day.

They book an appointment with a masseuse. Reserve a spot for lunch or dinner. Find a local play or music performance.

The twins will dote on their momma as thanks for her efforts to raise them as a singe mother (with resources she got as a royal... regardless).

Skylar also presents Nebra with a series of fake suitor profiles. He remembered Nebra trying to date back in the day before deciding to focus on herself and her twins. The fake suitors give Nebra a laugh.

Elana tells Nebra about the crazy Magic Knight missions she hears from working in the Magic Investigation Bureau. Nebra forever claims that Elana still hasn't found a story more interesting than what she's experienced.

Kathline (oc) with Daniel and Jill

Simply put, Daniel and Jill help Kathline chop down trees and cut wood in preparation for Kathline to turn it all into furniture.

Their attributes are well suited to that job after all.

Daniel shows some of his creative flair by using his Steel Magic to make wood carvings (which aren't as good as his metal sculptures).

Jill shows off how many trees she can cut through at once.

"Still not as impressive as your dad carving a new canyon into the landmass," Kathline teases.

Jill goes to bite her mom's head off but is put in her place very quickly.

Ichika with Kai'ichi, Shigehiro, and Hatoko

Ichika doesn't expect the kids to do much on Mother's Day. It was a recent cultural trend borrowed from Clover Kingdom.

And usually, the kids don't treat it like anything special. Until the year when Shigehiro is fifteen. The kids come together and present Ichika with a box.

Inside in a beautiful kimono ensemble. Hair accessory, matching fan and parasol, the works.

Apparently, the kids found the photo that Ichika had hidden away which showed her wearing a similar ensemble alongside her husband. Her wedding photo.

The kids wanted her to have something that would make her feel as beautiful as she did when she got married. And remind her of the happiness she felt with her husband.

Ichika didn't shed tears. Not in front of the kids. She hugged them real tight before sending them on their way. And she cried over the kimono on her lonesome.

Finesse with Caelum and Raphael

Because Cal and Raph don't live with Finesse, Mother's Day is basically sacred time with their bio mom.

Caelum will bring his mom a gift basket of all sort of trinkets and goodies that she'd enjoy.

Leaves from far off lands that he's visited. Recipe cards to give to Finesse's kitchen staff. New bookmarks and books to use them with.

I'm gonna say Raphael plays an instrument. Perhaps a harp. And he plays Finesse whatever song he's learned recently.

The boys argue over who gets to brush their mom's hair before the three of them take a stroll through town.

Finesse would tell them that one can brush her hair while the other picks out the hair accessory she wears.

Vanessa with Cynthia

Vanessa wasn't comfortable with Mother's Day at first, given her own maternal relationship.

But she came around to it after all her friends reassured her that it was okay to celebrate her motherhood because she was a good parent.

Cynthia is an artist. She tries every kind of art and craft. So Vanessa has a collection of different crafted items from many Mother's Days (and other occasions).

Vanessa loves each and every gift she's been given. She knows it's not the point, but she feels like she's deservedly earned the things Cynth gives her.

One year, Cynthia held Vanessa's face between her hands, locked eyes with her, and said "you're the best mom I could've ever hoped for. I love the mom that you are for me."

It made Vanessa happy cry for well over an hour.

Charlotte with Saki, Ann, and Kenzou

Saki would of course gift Charlotte a bouquet made from the flowers she grows in her garden/at her flower shop.

She avoids including roses since Charlotte grows the most beautiful roses in the kingdom, according to Saki.

Ann isn't good with physical gifts. She collects memorabilia from her adventures (later missions when she's a MK) and then brings them to Char to tell the stories behind each trinket.

When Ann gets her grimoire, she asks to battle Char each Mother's day so she can improve her magic in hopes that her Briar Magic becomes just as strong as her mom's

Kenzou (once he's grown enough to do so) takes Charlotte on a little mother-son outing.

They go to a cafe and catch up on life events. They go social dancing and Charlotte has to lead Kenzou along since he has two left feet.

Grey with Silver and Clara

Silver and Clara become Grey's happy little helpers on Mother's Day.

Clara asks if there's any nooks and crannies that she can clean for Grey.

Silver carries the bags on a grocery/general shopping run.

He'll help push furniture if Grey wants to rearrange a room. He reaches high shelves for her (even when Grey points out she could transform into someone taller to reach).

When they were younger, they were pretty clumsy and something always broke!

As they grow older, they get better and learn to do more to help. Cleaning the bathroom. Washing dishes. Making breakfast and bringing it to Grey in bed.

Silver isn't as tall or strong as his dad but he'd also carry Grey if she's feeling particularly exhausted.

Noelle with Aimee, Naru, and Filomina

Beach day with Mama Noelle!

Naru is showing off how well he can swim! He's a born natural and the girls joke that Naru isn't just a Water Mage but water itself!

Naru and Noelle like to have swimming races. Naru says that he always lets Mama win because it's Mother's Day. But really, he just can't compete with Noelle's grown up speed.

Aimee and Filomina can swim too, but they like what they can do on the shore a little more.

Aimee builds (very lumpy) sandcastles and Noelle helps with the moat and getting water in there.

She also tries to draw Noelle's portrait in the sand and as ugly as Aimee draws every time, Noelle adores it and says she's never been drawn so beautifully.

Filomina is a beach comber. She finds shells and sea glass and crabs and coins. She brings her spoils to her family and Noelle gets first pick of treasure.

Filomina once tried digging for buries treasure and stumbled upon a sea turtle nest instead. Noelle found it very cute but also helped Filomina hide the nest again to protect the unhatched eggs.

Helia (oc) with Aecor, Fleuriana, Chalivas, and Soleil

While Fleur and Soleil are the main performers of the family, all four kids participate in putting on a special Mother's Day show.

Soleil plans everything out, given he's always been fascinated by showmanship. Their older siblings follow his lead.

Fleur likes to improvise, to her siblings' frustration and Helia's delight.

Chalivas tends to steal the show, using his Mercury Magic to make mercury puppets to convey a story more easily.

The siblings' attributes synergize well and as much as they argue at times, they always put on a successful performance on Mother's Day.

Helia runs up to her babies and kisses them all over their faces. She's so proud and every year exclaims that the current year's show was the best.

Josele (oc) with Sterling, Dawn, Dusk, Sirius, Merel, and Vivian

Sterling does a divination session for Josele as a Mother's Day gift. Thanks to Josele's life becoming more stable later in life, Sterling's divinations mostly reaffirm the happy and peaceful life Josele has achieved.

Sterling has also used her Remnant Magic to help Josele recover some memories that she lost or became faded over time.

Dawn and Dusk put their musical skills together to perform a song for Josele.

One year, Dawn wanted to perform the love song that Nacht tends to sing to Josele only for Dusk to scold her and say that stays between their parents.

Sirius, once he has his grimoire and is better trained in his magic, brings Josele into his Dreamscape spell and lets her spend a bit of time with a Dream Magic recreation of Morgen.

Sirius disappears into the edges of his spell and lets his mother have a moment. He feels conflicted about it but still does it because Josele looks so renewed when it happens.

Merel and Josele tend to go on nature hikes, picking wild flowers and foraging for wild fruits and greens.

Vivian returns home from her far off journeys for Mother's Day and recounts her adventures to Josele. Vivian also shows Josele her new spells, the emotions and elements that have become connected to her.

The day concludes with Josele and the children all working together to make a grand feast.

Josele with Albert, Varg, Iris, Valerian, Friedrich, Sable, Blanche, and Isolde (AU)

Similar to Silver and Grey, the Morgsele kids are extra helpful on Mother's Day. Josele deserves to take it easy one day after spending the majority of her days raising eight children.

Albert leads the team and is the one to assign each sibling their tasks of the day.

Albert tends to give himself the task of bringing Josele breakfast in bed. He is the best cook of the siblings and he wants mom's day to start well. This means he also oversees lunch and dinner.

Once Varg tried to lock Josele in her room so she couldn't even try to do something other than relax. I say "try" because Josele kicked down the door to get out.

Varg is usually stuck with dusting down the house because his attitude makes it hard for his siblings to trust him with other tasks.

Iris has the best taste in gifts and so he is the one to procure a physical gift. His gifts have ranged from a personally compiled book of poems and short stories about mothers to a magnificent painted portrait depicting Josele in a heroic pose.

Valerian goes to get Josele's weapons tuned up at her preferred shop. And he's the one to do the grocery run for lunch and dinner.

Friedrich has an eye for aesthetics so he refreshes decorations around the house. New flowers are put in vases. Curtains and tablecloths and curtains are changed out. He even moves around any statuettes or paintings to keep the interior looking a little fresh.

Sable polishes every possible surface in the household. From the windows to stone surfaces to varnished wood. She brings everything to a shine.

Blanche is the team's time manager while also doing the more undesirable cleaning, like the bathroom, and trash collecting. Heaven forbid she actually touch anything though. She uses appendages made of magic to handle most of it.

Isolde, as the baby of the family, doesn't get to do much at first. At first, she has to tag along with someone else and help them. But when she picks up sewing, she takes up the task of mending clothes in addition to doing laundry.

Josele gets to sit down with each kid at some point throughout the day to chat with them about what's going on in their lives. She wants to hear all about what her kids are up to after all, and give any advice that they might need.

Decided to make a welcome to my blog post

What up? I'm Sunflower and this is where a lot of my artistic energy ends up nowadays. You can expect to find OC stuff, occasional digital and traditional art, poetry sometimes, blurbs about my life, and (eventually) fanfiction, and whatever else I decide to put on here.

In general, but especially for OCs asks are always welcome (as long as the inbox is open) and you can go to previous lists I have posted no matter how long ago to pull from. Use the ask list tag to look at ones that I've previously reblogged. Please make sure you say what post and what character you are referring to. Or copy paste the question into the ask itself.

Thank you cake and @helianskies for the tag! Much like Helia I think I have to give a shout out to certain longfics, and then throw in a few maiva highlights: Gatito - EngSpa wordbeast. Probably my legacy. It was meant to be 14 chapters long and finish 5 years ago. Here we are 70+ chapters later and counting.

Zoute Drop - NedPort set in the Dam/shop au with wfsn delights, generational trauma and more. Another fic which has run wild for a few years with no intention of stopping.

Le Rêve et L'amour - Romantic comedy/typical maiva NedPort business with smatterings of other ships in here too. Rabbit father Ned goes speed dating and eventually finds his match.

Poltergeist - EngSpa aka FCK Paranormal Investigations receive a new job and have some fun along the way.

Retrouvailles - Nationverse NedPort. Two silly men bond in Paris after a meeting. Home to some of the best dialogue I've ever given Ned.

Mostly DC right now, but I dabbled in Voltron and TMNT in the past, and I'll write in any fandom that's interesting to me 💖

4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?

wrong number On a hot July evening while home alone, eight-year-old Tim gets a fever. He means to ask Mrs. Mac for help — but ends up accidentally calling Alfred Pennyworth. Somehow, even in sickness, he wins all the hearts of the Wayne family in one fell swoop.

So when the Red Hood breaks into his room with the intent to kill him, Tim decides it's a good idea to ask him for help on his English homework. It works. And then it doesn't. 6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?

I wrote a TMNT fic a few years back, called What Is Holding Is Also Being Held that I personally thought had a very hopeful ending, but actually gave cliffhanger vibes. I didn't mean for that to happen! 😂 But I was also in the last semester of my senior year in college and running on fumes so that's probably why it's angstier than my usual fics.

7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?

A lot of my fics end happily so it's hard to pick! For something short and sweet, maybe wrong number or stuck on you like a sea star or kosmo's mission 😊💖 but of crime lords and literature is a longer fic with a well-deserved happy ending!! ✨

8. Do you get hate on fics?

I don't think so, no.

9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?

It's not completely off the table, but really really far away... like I can't reach it... nor do I feel like reaching at this moment 🙈

10. Do you write crossovers?

No, hasn't compelled me yet!

11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not that I know of.

12. Have you ever had a fic translated?

Yes! They asked for permission first and linked back to my fic 💖

13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

No, but sounds fun!

14. What's your all-time favorite ship?

Platonic ships (friendships, family relationships) take up most of my heart, but some romantic faves: huntress and question (dc), flora and helia (winx club), buck and eddie (9-1-1), jaren and kiva (the prison healer trilogy)

15. What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you will?

My writing folder in Scrivener is DENSE AHHHH with so many ideas and prompts, but as for fics that I post to AO3, I always finish them.

16. What are your writing strengths?

I think it changes every time I write something new! ✨🙈✨ But maybe it's editing, because I read aloud my story like an audiobook to hear any mistakes or awkward parts... it's embarrassing to be caught doing this, tho😳

17: What are your writing weaknesses?

TOO MUCH EXPOSITION 😭 I love exposition and niche details! But sometimes I take too long to get to the point. "enter late, leave early" has been some of my favorite writing advice lately.

18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?

It's always fun, and it's cool when it's done in a really seamless way!

Three Ships:

Flora/Helia (Winx Club): What can I say? I love watching these two be in love. I've always loved how pure yet intense their relationship was., like they were made for each other.

Roy/Riza (Fullmetal Alchemist): This is truly an S tier ship. It's actually kind of crazy because there is NO (canon) CONFIRMATION that they're even in a relationship, yet the way they interact with each other it's like they were seriously made for the other. The loyalty, the trust...some people would kill for a partner like this.

Korra/Asami (The Legend of Korra): I was younger when the finale for LOK came out and Korrasami was officially canon, and I was a little surprised, but looking back at the episodes I'm shocked I didn't see it sooner! Thier mutual respect and support of each other is so lovely to see, and also I love to see some LGBT representation!

First Ship:

Chihiro/Haku (Spirited Away): I was OBSESSED with this ship and this movie as a kid.Oh my gosh, I spent hours not doing my homework and just reading fanfiction on these two. I don't really ship them anymore because looking back (even though they're anime characters), it's hard for me to ship two child characters, especially in a movie that promotes the innocence of childhood and the strength of girlhood in such a profound way. So now in my head they're best friends.

Last Song:

Vampire by Olivia Rodrigo! I don't usually listen to her music but this song in particular slaps.

Last Movie:

Spiderman: Across the Spiderverse! I might say this is one of the best animated films ever. Like I LOVE IT

Currently Reading:

The Hunger Games Trilogy (re-read). There's been such a Hunger Games Renaissance with The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes movie coming out that I've been inspired to read it again!

Currently Watching:

Insecure. I didn't really like the 1st couple of seasons but now that I'm almost at the end and I'm looking back, I can say that I LOVE the show. All of the characters are flawed in such realistic ways. The drama, the comedy, the conversations...it's all top-tier.

Currently Drinking:

Currently drinking water but I highkey want a soda.

Currently Craving:

Coldstone Ice Cream. It's been such a long time since I've had it and for some reason a couple days ago I've been really craving it! (I usually get a chocolate devotion if anyone is curious (no it's not good for my acne)).

Three Ships:

Flora/Helia (Winx Club): …I love them

Hiccup/Astrid (How to train your dragon): I don’t just mean the movie but the series is actually so good and they had one of the best relationship developments I’ve ever seen. I highly recommend the series to anyone who’s watched Httyd. (Also a fun fact, the voice actor for Dagur, David Faustino, also voiced Helia in the Nick dub)

Draco/Hermione (Harry Potter fanon, I don’t support JKR): I was actually against this ship up until a few years ago but even then I only like it in very specific circumstances. I don’t like it when they ignore that fact that Draco was a bully and prejudiced asshole or they make Hermione hate all of her friends just to be with Draco. I hate Ron bashing too. I like it when there are hcs and fics that talk about Draco’s cowardice and Hermione’s nerdy side. It’s honestly the angst and the forbidden vibes that just appeal to me.

First Ship:

Derek/Genevieve (Barbie & the 12 Dancing Princesses): I’m pretty sure that was my first ship. I had two lovebirds when i was really young and I named them Derek and Genevieve. Derek flew away during a feeding and since lovebirds apparently aren’t supposed to be alone we got another one. Derek #2 also flew away. I don’t know what happened to Genevieve but now that I think about it she probably died alone.

Last Song:

I wish it was something cool and indie but it’s Heather by Conan Grey.

Last Movie:

Howl’s Moving Castle (rewatch!)

Currently Reading:

Pride & Prejudice by Jane Austen because I’m trying to get into Classics this year after the terror that Booktok has become.

Currently Craving:

Lasagna. I tried my first one ages ago in a Starbucks (unfortunately) and I have yet to eat another Lasagna as good as that one even in a proper restaurant. I keep watching Lasagna TikTok’s and even the Lasagna soup looks interesting to me. Planning on trying to cook it myself even though I’m a disaster in the kitchen (I make decent scrambled eggs and that’s it).
