If your Tav drinks alcohol, what would be their beverage of choice? Are they a tavern drinker or a grand ball attendee kind of person?

🌻 Grand balls are kind of their bread and butter. When they were younger, they preferred to be a wallflower, but as they had to mingle considering their line of work, they've grown accustomed to brushing shoulders with the other nobility. At the fancy gala's she's a red wine girly, something dry and rich and easy to sip slowly so she doesn't get too drunk. Now all that being said, this does change a little bit after the adventure, before the adventure and getting stuck in her home for so long she was too young to go to taverns so she hadn't really experienced one until she was with the companions. And you know these people have got to be fun to drink with, so now she's got a bit of a taste for it too. In her best ending she's probably not frequenting taverns all the time, but she would go out with some of her friends to drink there maybe once a month. At a tavern she prefers a nice mead or on occasion ale. This is also a great place to touch on the mixology hobby that I think I've mentioned in other blurbs before. If not, yeah, mixology is one of the things that Sunflower is actually pretty good at. This once again comes from my real life experience since I love developing new cocktails. Also mine and her background we both had a good bar and a family with a healthy respect and appreciation for alcohol. I was allowed to taste alcohol growing up and as such never really developed the interest in it due to it being a taboo like some other teenagers would have. And my family had a really nicely stocked bar in our house. Once I actually started to like the flavor of alcohol I started experimenting pretty quick. One of the big reasons I miss living with my family is that it was really fun to mix new drinks and have my family try them. I'd say 70 to 80% of the time. I got something really good. I also got pretty good at making like the more staple cocktails, gin and tonic Is a favorite of my mother IRL and I got really good at mixing that one. So I'm going to give that same reasoning to Sunflower as she wanted to be able to make them for her mother. And that led to experimentation eventually. After like maybe a week or so on the road and they picked up some odd ingredients and different alcohols from rummaging through barrels and such. I'd imagine she 'd pop off with some cocktails in camp and surprise everyone. Maybe a signature one for everybody if she's got enough ingredients 😆 Quick shout out to your bastard child Briar. Be foolish to answer this when you asked it and not bring up the fact that Sunflower is one of the weirdos that actually enjoys their strange brewing concoctions. She might still take a hit of damage every so often from them. But hey, she heals easily¯⁠\⁠_(⁠✿⁠^⁠‿⁠^⁠)_/⁠¯ I think this partially comes from my interest in things like kombucha and stinky cheese, but also it kind of makes sense for her and character since she came from a background that would have a lot of exposure to weird fermented foods cuz rich people food be like that sometimes. Girlie's palette is vast, and she loves supporting her friend 💛

🩸 This one I think would have a nice 50/50 mix of both. They've body snatched from all kinds of folks of all different backgrounds so there's probably not a drinking establishment or party in Baldur's Gate that they haven't been to at least once. As for preferred drinks, I think that would actually change each time they hop bodies. Taste buds are very personalized and the way people interpret that I think involves a lot of weird brain stuff so it'd be neat if their senses get changed up hard each time they end up in a new meat suit. The current body prefers whiskey, I can see them taking it on the rocks. Maybe port wine as well. Although on the road they aren't exactly picky about what they drink.

🌻 so once again, we're going to pull from real life examples. Since she's myself insert. She has kind of a horrible sense of direction and a bit of a tendency to wander places. This is my in-universe explanation for the completing of all the side quests as well. If you give her a map she can usually get where she's going but if you tell her to go somewhere new like in the city on just vocal directions, she's going to take like a week to figure out how to get there. It's probably a good thing. The companions are all there with her. I feel like navigating the trail back to Baldur's Gate is a mix of Lae'zel and Wyll before helping The Grove and then it's Halsin leading the tadpole squad exposition.

🩸hmmmm, we're going to do a bit of head cannoning for a moment because I think they would have a good sense of direction. It would be twofold in their current body. I think it would be neat if dragonborns just naturally have a good internal compass and so that's part of the reason. But also being part of Bhaal's flesh BB naturally ends up gravitating towards the city and back towards the temple.

🌻 calls people by endearing names because they cannot remember their actual name. Quite often by titles or madam/sir. If they're younger they might call them dear or sweetheart, you can imagine how well some of the tiefling orphans enjoyed that, since she's also not fully and noblewoman mode while on the road, she might go for buddy or friend with just rando's or merchants.

🩸 cannot remember many names, does not pretend to remember any names, does not care if you are offended by them not remembering your name. Can use the memory loss as an excuse if they really wanted to, but they honestly just don't respect most people enough to actually remember their name.

I really hope I covered everything since I had to go out at one session I might have just skipped some details I was thinking about earlier and I don't have a good way to go back to it again, sorry!

God fucking damn it Tumblr! So this ask is not actually done yet. I was trying to edit and save as I go and it changed it to the post button for some reason. Expect changes on this in the next hour or so. I will put an edit when it is done.

Asks for my new babies 🥹

How do these two (I was trying to put the tags in before being interrupted at work and I fully forgot to put in that it was meant for the three of them (⁠-⁠_⁠-⁠;⁠) three interact with each other in public versus in private?

I know I'm going to yap a lot so putting it under a cut

So we're going to get actually five different options here. The dynamic changes slightly when they are hanging out, just the three of them, with the main like Sonic cast, in public within the Sonic cast world, in public at school, and in their own world in public.

In public in their own world

So I've decided to make them fully celebrities in their own world. That means they definitely have to put a public face when they go out and about. I would imagine their demeanor is very similar to like famous singers when it comes to interviews and things like that. Maybe less controlled, but they definitely worry about their image and being good role models.

I was actually thinking about it on the ride home and I think they fall somewhere in between idols and heroes back home considering they have magic and the whole performance thing. I'll probably write up some more information on their dimensions dynamic later now that I'm starting to crystallize the idea in my head.

The dynamic in public is a little performative unless their incognito mode with like sunglasses, baseball cap, mask that really classic superstar under cover look lol

I could see Diamond planning out like what they should have as topics as an option when they're out and about to make sure nothing goes wrong. They keep conversations light-hearted in case things get overheard and of course they go on interviews and have to act the perfect part. Not sure exactly what kind of threats they be fighting in public in their own world, but the public really likes them since they're pretty fun and are trying to protect everyone. Everything's pretty hunky-dory on that side of their life.

In public at their school

It's when they're the most rigid and when anxiety between the three of them can get the highest. They have to both perform as public figures and as students in this setting. So each of them is under a lot of stress. They also tend to keep each other in check when they are as a group and out and about so on the classes that they have individually they tend to isolate themselves a lot more. It just became a defense mechanism to keep them from doing something stupid. They all also try and keep up really good grades for a multitude of reasons so it's not like they aren't busy. The best version of their dynamic is when they can study as a group at school. They'll still be personable, but everyone at school also knows that there's work to be done so they don't get bothered too much. Spade keeps steady sessions on and keeping everyone focused, Diamond finds exactly what needs to be studied and analyzing their own weaknesses within classes, Clover is great at bringing some levity to the study sessions. Clover also brings snacks if they're allowed, and sometimes even if they're not which Spade scolds her for, and is great at randomly finding really good information for a research projects just because her wandering the shelves when she gets bored, but still kind of actively looking for things that are on topic with their subject.

In public in the Sonic cast world

Once they realize they're in another dimension and are able to reunite with each other they realize they have a bit of a refreshing change of pace in this setting. They don't have to be constantly looking over their shoulder for somebody with a camera or worried about what might be overheard so they can act more like just a group of gals out on the town. Heading out to cafes to indulge in all kinds of food, talking about whatever they feel like, admiring cute folks that walk by, they can embrace careless attitude that they perform back in public in their own world, but they never actually are able to relax into. It makes the full of conversation a lot more easily skewed towards the deep which is good for their friendship overall. Late night chat sessions are great, but sometimes you end up just going into the weirdest topic and uncovering truths about yourself when sipping a latte. Some quality bonding time 🤌🏽

In private with the main Sonic cast (so their friends)

These girls are all about the hype and that does not stop when it's the cast hanging out with them in a more relaxed setting. I'm picturing game night with like some of the more mainstay characters and they're either fiercely competing or they are cheering on for the other players. Even it's at something as low energy as like chess.

Each of the girls has something that they get competitive about. Clover is all about speed as hedgehogs tend to be in the series so she'd be all in for racing. I could see Diamond getting super invested in a game of cards or like Scrabble. And Spade is super good at video games, just so many different types of video games. I don't think this is Canon but I could see tails being super into video games when he's not inventing. Just love the idea of them playing together and getting super into it. Adorable 🥰

Each of them would definitely have their own set of Canon characters that they get along more with. I'll definitely be writing out relationship Dynamics later on, but given you've got one that's super outgoing one that's more down to earth and another that's super quiet. You could probably start to picture who's going to hang out with who if you're familiar with the characters. If not, like I said I am going to do a relationship breakdown with some of them Canon folks another time. It is just getting late and I want to make sure this is done, especially since Tumblr decided to fight me on this.

On the same vein of them hanging out with other characters. The girls love hanging out with each other, but sometimes finding folks that match your energy kind of exactly is a great change of pace. In like group party settings, they tend to ebb and flow with how often you can find them as a trio or separated. Often. They'll begin social gatherings for like the first hour or so as a bundle. Split off and go hang with like their people for an hour or two and then rebound back to being a trio for like 30 minutes usually and a bit more of a private but still public area. They need the 30 minutes to recharge before taking another round out and about with everyone else. This social pace tends to stay consistent until the party is over it just repeats in a cycle.

In private just the three of them

Ideal roommates. Clover adores cooking and is basically in charge of the whole kitchen. The others sometimes need to remind her to clean up, but once he point her in the right direction, she's on it. Spade manages technology and bills within the house/ apartment (not sure where exactly I want them to live yet) she's also in charge of division of labor when it comes to anything else. As far as cleaning and taking care of their domicile. She tends to keep it well balanced and other than Clover having dominion over the kitchen, no one gets stuck with one of the lamer chores like cleaning the bathroom constantly. Diamond is on top of bigger repairs and whatever greenery they might have. She's also the self-care queen and make sure that the other two are unwinding. Spade from managing everything and Clover from just her general slightly manic airhead energy. If it's just the three of them, diamond is definitely the most level-headed of the group. If there's any kind of arguing between Spade and Clover, you can be sure that she's there to manage it and make sure that everything comes to a satisfactory conclusion. The vibe in their space most of the time is like perpetual sleepover. Once all of their outside world responsibilities are finished 80% of the time it's them hanging out like it's summer vacation. Video games, movie marathons, doing online quizzes, face masks and just being silly together. 20% of the time you might lose one of them to needing some solitude. They each have their own room that they can retreat to and unless the other two think something is actually wrong, they won't question too hard if somebody needs some time to themselves.

As duos, Spade and Clover tend to hang out in the kitchen because Clover would be maybe making something and Spade. Is there sitting at the table chatting away about like whatever latest movie or gossip topic might be on their mind. Diamond and Spade might start watching a movie, but it'll dissolve into them being their own version of like mystery theater, 3000 or whatever that show was called with them absolutely tearing it to shreds. They both love so bad it's good movies so it works out. Clover and Diamond are more likely to end up in a either philosophic conversation or just quietly reading together. Diamond's the best at settling down Clover's energy. Spade brings out the more side in Diamond. And Clover gets spayed away from worrying about school or life or any of that stuff that they have to deal with when they head outside.

Okay, I feel like this is getting long and I think that answers most of it. Like I said, I'm going to do a relationship breakdown with some of the Canon characters and da girlz another time so look forward to that but yeah I hope this answers everything 💖

🌹 (rose) - What does your oc find attractive in other people? Are these traits found in their friends and/or romantic partners? Are they found in themselves?

🌻 All right, you blue screened me for a while on this one. Sunflower, as I've stated before, many times is based off me and I'm not sure what I find fully attractive in others. So we're going to go for some general vibes and see what comes out. She likes people who are overall happy, complaining is great, but unless you're doing something about it or have something that you absolutely need to rant about, she does prefer to be around folks that are on the positive side. Being funny or having a good sense of humor is definitely a draw. Musical talent is quite attractive, although not a deal-breaker if you don't have it. And definitely being kind like just nice in life and considerate when it comes to others. I'd say she probably embodies a good chunk of those traits. The musical talent was a little on and off considering she wasn't allowed to learn an instrument when she was younger. She's a little overbearing but she does try and be kind with that overbearing attitude so maybe it all evens out 😂

🩸 being unique! Doesn't really care much about physical attributes but does care if you can give them an interesting time. Anyone that can produce a unique date/relationship has a definite chance. This does mean that as time goes on the dating pool becomes less and less interesting, but considering the variety of sentient beings in their world. I don't think they're going to run out of options anytime soon. As for whether or not they embody it, I'd say dating a sentient blob of god flesh would be pretty dang unique so yeah👍🏽

🎈 (balloon) - What does your character do at parties? Are they a wallflower or a party animal? Do they go with friends or alone?

🌻 wallflower! At least if it's up to her she'll be a wallflower. This is leftover from her being the baby of the family at outings when her family used to go out together. She preferred to stick with one of her parents. Due to her position as a noble however, she does know how to mingle properly, but it's a bit color by numbers at most fancier functions. Smaller gatherings like the tiefling party. She's more than happy to float around and chat with small groups of people. If you get enough alcohol in her, you might even get her to sing (spoiler alert she sings at the tiefling party and regrets it the next day) because of her mother's restrictions, she never learned any instruments, so the only more traditional musical bard ability that she has is a slightly above average voice. One of those voices where it's like. Yeah, there's a little bit of raw talent but it definitely hasn't been trained. At personal parties like the epilogue, she's completely in her element, chatting away with her old friends and she'd even be willing to host a smaller party and would be quite comfortable if she knows everyone coming.

🩸 PARTY ANIMAL! Especially if alcohol is involved, they are all about interacting with everyone and everything that they can. They actually won't drink a lot themselves because they want to remain lucid, but they are fascinated by the uninhibited revelations of people who she thought she understood.

💚🧡💜Da Gurls!!

Behind the scenes on the making of and some lore for them under the cut 👍🏽 I hope I remembered everything this time, Tumblr might have messed me up.

If you saw a post like this earlier and then it suddenly disappeared. It's because Tumblr bungled itself and I was trying to edit a draft and then save and it posted for some reason and deleted the like five paragraphs I had added. So now I've got to remember where those were go back and add them again and then get back to finishing this 🤬😡

The shine on some of the metallic bits went hard on that first picture so I took a couple angled shots. And there's also like the progress here. Getting the proportions right for this was insanity inducing 😵‍💫

So yeah, here's more confirmed looks at Clover, Spade, and Diamond. There might still be a few things that get tweaked in the future, but overall I'm pretty happy with this. Colors are a little limited because of markers, but one day I'll do a digital version with a bit more control. It overall gets the color scheme across though and I had a lot of fun with the metallic paint pens.

So collectively they are known as team charm. As a group they function very much as like early 2000s girlz™ vibes with like being absolute besties and each other's biggest hype man. They also very much become the biggest cheerleaders they can for anyone they deem as their friends. So some of the other teams in the main series eventually will get the same treatment. I'm thinking it would be cool if they could cast buffs on folks to help in like fighting scenarios even if they aren't being main character fighters at that time. I just think it would be a neat way for there to be diegetic music when folks be fighting.

As I said in there the first rough sketch post they come from a different dimension from the main Sonic the Hedgehog folk. I've been watching timeline videos to try and get a wrap around Canon lore and where they would fit best. I think the rough outline for their story would be that they ended up lost and now they're trying to get back to their own dimension. Timing wise I think Clover could pop up somewhere during adventure 1 as a new character and she mentions she's looking for her friends. At the end of that game I'm seeing a cutscene if you like a rank, everything or something like that, I'm not actually super familiar with the games, but there'd be in an ending scene where she's reuniting with the two of them. Next game they'd be working as a team trying to figure out how they accidentally ended up there and how to go home.

Vague backstory wise their dimension has a lot of people who use magic. Very fantasy heavy and they go to school together to try and harness their own forms of magic. Clovers is vocal, Spade is kinesthetic (dancing), and Diamond works with instrumental. Magic system is very soft on rules and overall the magic is connected to both creativity and emotion/ willpower. On the weekend, which is why they're in their casual outfits not school uniform, there was an incident with an experiment and the pendant that Clover is wearing. It's hard to tell in the first picture. I'll try and do a close-up another time, but it's a heart-shaped pendant that belonged to her mom. Students of magic get charms to help them restrict and refine magic until it can be properly controlled by the user. Clover has a hand-me-down charm since they can be a little expensive to be made and her mother's not around anymore. Spades charm is on her hat and Diamonds is the belt buckle (It might change to be the tie clip instead one day. I'm not sure which one I like more) and of course, each of the charms glow when the girls are activating their magic. I also think it would be fun to pull some magical girl inspiration into this so they can change their outfits to match the genre of music that they're vibing with when casting magic. The outfits here are their default because it's their favorite genres. But eventually I'll draw like everyone in things for classical music or everyone in things for hip hop and then so on and so forth. I also think it could be neat if like there was a bit of an element system and it changed along with their genre or maybe it just depends on the song or the mood of the person doing the performance. Which for reference performance would be like the umbrella term for all three of their types of magic. It's also why they're magic is so compatible with each other.

But yeah something went funky with Clover's charm. Maybe they were trying to change it so it matches color since the red clashes majorly with the outfit. Perhaps it was a different spell. Detail of why the accident happened is unimportant. What is important is that they ended up on the same planet as Sonic and friends (I think it's Earth but when I was watching lore videos was rather unclear) at first they were separated so first people would see Clover she'd be very much focused on trying to find her friends.

After reuniting I have vague ideas for them being connected somehow to the Black Doom stuff and that's why they ended up being called to another dimension. Not sure if I love that as a plot point, but it does make it easy for them to head back to their own dimension afterwards. I figure magic in this system just kind of has a will of its own and lets them go home after that. After that they pop in and out of stories as I see fit. Once I've got a better handle on the timeline I might do a list of where any of them might appear in any of the games/other media properties. I also if I ever write this, might do just completely original story and have it set in the magic universe and the Sonic characters end up there somehow. And then I could tie in flashbacks for like how these folks met and all that. I think it could be kind of fun. Just good silly fanfic fodder.

But let's give some information on the girls individually shall we. I'm also going to slip in some reasons why I made certain decisions and background on how these guys kind of developed in my brain. Just cuz it's a few things are funny to me about the whole process.

Clover the Hedgehog

The first of this group of OCS that I thought of and I've had her rattling around in my brain for a while, but this is a more finalized version, which is why I'm now sharing it with the world. Clover is about as happy go lucky as she looks. She's very much supposed to come off as in early 2000s girly girl character which is kind of a departure for my original thought.

Originally I thought I'd be kind of neat to make a tomboy girl Hedgehog in contrast to Amy Rose from like main series. There is a lack of female hedgehogs obviously and I thought that would be a very characteristic of like when Sonic was coming out to make a tomboy girl. But over time she became more of a pop idol vibe in my head and it just brings me much more joy this way. She's very casually flirtatious in interactions as opposed to like Amy being single-minded with Sonic for a good chunk of her screen time. I thought a lot on how to contrast and compliment Amy, when I was developing Clover at first some things are remnants from that. However, unlike Amy, Clover is rarely serious about her flirtations.

I just realized that Clover from totally spies also has the whole flirtation personality trait and I didn't do that on purpose lol

Clover came from small town where her mother and father had a little family band kind of thing. They used to be a singing in like guitar Duo before Clover came along and they started to bring her into the mix too. Clover adore performing! Clover's mother ended up out of the picture. Not sure if I want to write her as fully dead or just disappeared and maybe there's a mystery. But yeah either way she gone (for now) and we had single dad raising Clover for a while. Once Clover started to show signs of magic, I'm thinking in my world maybe this starts to happen around double-digits usually so Clover was old enough to remember her mother but her mother didn't see her magic search to develop. The family was originally saving up to get Clover a charm made for her before sending her off to school but Clover asked if she could keep her mother's instead.

Clover at school was very much a social butterfly but didn't have a lot of close friends until she met Spade and Diamond. The trio ended up being instant besties and started performing together. These small performances at college would end up growing into them being musical stars in their dimension before they mysteriously disappeared to the dimension with canon characters.

Clovers the speedy character in the trio because of course the hedgehog gotta go fast. She's pretty fast on just her feet, but with the rollerblades she goes even better and she enjoys just being able to glide along instead of running. As much of an extrovert as she is, her hobbies are walking in parks and she has a particular love for reading outdoors.

Clover can act on her own is quite airheaded and easily distracted, so she's not the best leader. That role in the trio actually goes to Spade.

Characters with similar vibes in other media would be; Serena from Sailor Moon, Pinkie Pie from My Little Pony: FiM, or Bee from Bee and Puppycat

Spade the Mole

So originally when I started drawing for Sonic OC stuff I just had Clover. I knew I wanted Clover to be part of a trio but I didn't have like specific animals or anything other than like the names, cuz I liked the idea of using card suits to go along with Clover, picked out yet. So credit to @beecreeper who suggested Spade be a mole because you dig with a spade. My brain latched onto that idea so quickly! I immediately pictured her with the big old glasses which are supposed to be tinted to protect her from bright lights. Not sure if that came fully across in the picture but yet. After that I thought about it and she came to me in a vision with like a street wear hip hop aesthetic as a contrast to Clover's pop idle vibes. So yeah, this might have been one of my fastest developed OC's. Not that it's a bad thing. It's just very funny that she spontaneously formed almost fully developed immediately into my brain. And then once developed they demanded to be drawn. So here we are with a trio being pumped out instead of just Clover.

This does mean I don't have as much backstory wise nor characterization for Spade. She's definitely the most reliable of the trio and is the most charismatic. That's why she gets to lead a lot of the decisions. She's very grounded (ha) and at the risk of another pun is great at digging into the real root of an issue. She's the one who keeps the other two on track to figuring out how to go home. Clover is more interested in just having a good time and Diamond really wants to know how and why they ended up in another dimension, but Spades got her eye on the prize. Once she sets out to do something there's very little that can be done to stop her, this does lead to a stubborn streak which can cause some problems for the group but with Diamonds, analytical skills and Clovers go with the flow nature, they can usually find a way around any problem.

As for abilities, she's a power character, she's able to dig very quickly and hit very hard from below. Not to mention magical abilities. Still working on exactly what the magic system is but I think since hers is dance based it could be interesting to have it. Maybe spawn duplicates and then they can rush at enemies or do whatever else needs to be done. I don't know that one's still developing. Other than dancing she can also sing well and play drums and piano.

As mentioned with the magical girl vibes way back, quite a few paragraphs. The girls are proficient at many different genres of music, meaning Spade is proficient at many types of dances as well. Hip hop is just her favorite. I unfortunately can't go into heavy detail when it comes to dance and how to apply it because I am not a dancer! Despite my best efforts with lessons. When I was a teenager I have two left feet. I'm probably going to do more research into the whole thing and she'll develop more from there though. That's the nice thing about researching real life topics it can lead to some interesting things for your OCs later.

Diamond the Dragonfly

In a similar vibe of research, turning into stuff for OCs I think dragonflies are my favorite bug. I actually started learning about them for information on their wings for a different OC which I'll probably get to another day and I started to fall in love with all the interesting little factoids about them. Did you know that per catch dragonflies are per catch probably the most effective hunter in the natural world with a 95% catch rate on prey. Wild!

Diamond wasn't the fastest in all this but she did develop quite quickly. Once I had drawn up Clover who was midsized and Spade who I decided to make smaller and rounder, I decided I wanted a longer character. And since I was looking at like team building and had a speedy character and power character already, I needed somebody for flying. With the name Diamond. I already had the vague idea that I wanted either a bug or a reptile. I was also debating on if I wanted to go for Heart or Diamond for the name since I was pulling from card suits. Diamond ended up winning out because I thought it would be a cooler name for some form of insect character, Heart or some form of the word will end up being Clover's mother's name, and diamond dragonfly just had such good alliteration. Plus they are kind of gem looking so year.

I forget exactly when I decided on the classical/ conductor vibe. It might just be cuz I'm starting to get into wearing vests in real life. But yeah that is the mood with Diamond. Although they can talk but they don't do it often. They're actually super socially anxious and prefer to talk only when they're around the other two girls. Given the put together look that Diamond has she's also sometimes mistaken as the leader of the group, but she will just stare if somebody starts to address her. As such. It's actually quite intimidating which she finds very funny. Once you get to know her though, you can get the vibe of what she's thinking. Even without her saying anything. Her facial expressions can be quite revealing. Her actually talking around folks that aren't super close to her is either a sign that shit just got real or she had a really good one-liner. There is no in between with her.

Like most characters that don't talk, she has a particular pension for a noticing important details that others might miss. She's highly analytical and is the best at strategizing among the girls.

I also think she came from a more well-off family than most back in their dimension. She had access to a lot of different musical instruments and is somewhat known as a prodigy. Like Clover, she didn't have a lot of close friends until the other two came into her life. It's not that people didn't try and befriend her. It's that her social anxiety combined with her super busy schedule, learning many different instruments and magic to go along with it made it hard for her to socialize. The fact that the girls went to school and were able to harmonize easily with her made it so they could speed run becoming buddies.

With the conductors baton, she's also got the most traditional magic wielder vibe in some ways since she uses it like a wand. I'm thinking projectiles might be interesting. Like music shaped notes ones that can go after folks. Other skills would include The flight of course, and she's very precise with her flight. Fun fact, dragonflies can fly backwards, upside,and hover in mid-air, they're just so freaking cool! Along with being able to conduct an orchestra, she also does pretty well as a DJ and can play most instruments, although her favorites are cello, flute, and theremin.

Characters with similar vibes in other media would be; Ferb from Phineas and Ferb, Gromit from Wallace and Gromit, or Snoopy from Peanuts (I didn't mean for hers to mean mostly animal based but the silent but sassy animal companion is such a common trope I'm realizing)
