" He responded to her with a shrug.

David was always happy to see her come around his place. He very much enjoyed getting to spend time with her. He knew there were some tensions between her and her brother especially after he had a baby. He didn't know why and it hardly made any sense to him. But he tried not to focus on it much as he would much rather focus on her and enjoy their time together. It wasn't anything new for them to be on the couch with her legs on his lap. It happened almost every time she came there. He didn't see much of it than simply spending time with a friend. Regardless of how beautiful she was and how his eyes had dropped even for a few seconds towards her breasts which were barely being held back by her corset.

ariadne83 Ooh this is really interesting. Are they in costume when Jason calls him Tim? If so, I wouldn't call that respectful; he's potentially blowing Robin's secret identity because he refuses to use the code name

Looking at my raw data, it looks like every time Jason calls Tim 'Tim', he IS in costume, but they're also in private.

The three issues are the fight at Titans Tower, where Jason has already knocked everyone else out, and two issues of Battle For the Cowl, where I THINK they're fighting alone in a subway tunnel. In Battle for the Cowl, his other option is to call Tim 'Batman', so I don't blame him for using 'Tim'!

Thank you for the question. Jason DOES seem to avoid using codenames for Tim, and it was interesting to look briefly at his strategies:

For other characters, he uses codenames between 24% and 44% of the time. With Tim it's 8%. (Both 'Robin's to Tim are ALSO at Titans Tower, though he refers to Tim as 'Robin' while pretending to be Hush and talking to Bruce.)

For Bruce, Tim, and Dick, he uses civilian names between 40% and 48.5%. Babs is 33%, but I have very little data. And Damian is only 18%.

With both Tim and Damian, he makes up for these gaps with insults. He's insulting Tim 21% of the time, and Damian 27%. The others are 0% to 7% of the time. Of course, he's also performing for an audience a good portion of that time, but yeah.

I think that, rather than endangering Tim or Damian by using their first names in public, or upsetting himself by calling Tim 'Robin', preboot Jason usually calls them insults, or neutral things like 'Kid', when people are listening.

He could understand a Dom walking away, leaving the sub alone on a part like that. It was what that party was for. But if Alexander was his, he would have made that perfectly clear before anything else happened.

"In this case, Alex, why don't you come with me? We don't do anything you don't want to, but we do find your Dom. I'd like a word with him before we, well, engage."
