*barges in* Your Hollow Head Siblings hc's, hand 'em over!!!! 🔫
(But fr, gotta love your thoughs, they're neat and scratch my brain juuuust right!!!)
YOU HAVE OPENED THE FLOOD GATES MY ANONYMOUS FRIEND
Keep in mind I am very tired rn so this will likely be very unpolished okay here we go–
The order of age goes Victim Chosen Dark Orange, we all know this, but I think for a long time Dark thought he and Chosen were a lot closer in age than they actually were. Chosen had to warm up to telling Dark about all the horrible things he went through, and that included the fact that he was alone for four years. (it's four years right? it might be five. I can't be bothered to look it up rn, its fine)
In between the Showdown and Wanted Orange is starting to think of Chosen as an older brother. He connected the dots to figure out that Chosen was also made by Alan and he saved them! He's so cool! This idea was only a little bit shattered when this older brother figure barged into the PC and kidnapped him and promptly got them both captured. But honestly what are older siblings for.
In canon Chosen does not let himself feel emotions enough for him to see Orange as a little brother, but the connection is there. He'll come around :)
SPEAKING OF CONNECTIONS– I recently had this idea that the Hollowheads had some sort of empathy-telepathy with each other. For example, one normal day out in the Outernet Chosen feels the exact moment Orange was created. He doesn't know what that feeling meant, and he never felt it again. Orange felt drawn to this new stick figure who saved their lives, and immediately follows him through the portal. Chosen felt something snap in his chest the moment Dark died. Orange and Victim lock eyes for a moment in the Box and feel something click. None of them talk about it, but it's there.
(that last one might qualify as an AU, who knows maybe I'll do something with it)
This one is more of a wish than a headcanon– Chosen takes Orange under his wing at some point, teaching him how to use his powers as best he can. However, since Orange's powers are rather different from Chosen's, it just results in a chaotic sparring session and setting a field on fire. The CG are not amused by the amount of bruises Orange gets, but Orange is having an absolute blast.
Orange is Chosen's "Second Coming"– surely that comes with consequences. I saw a hc where they shared portions of code and I liked that; something like Orange and Chosen have similar tastes in foods. Their eyes shine the same way when they smile. Sometimes they accidentally speak in unison because they each had the exact same thought. When stuff gets serious, they both narrow their eyes and make an expression that promises pain on their enemies.
Dark would be the best big brother and let me tell you why. Orange is often left with the Braincell of the CG. Have you seen how stressed this boy gets. He gets premonitions of his friends getting hurt. Dark allows him to mess around a bit more, in a "We might get in trouble, isn't that fun!!" kind of way. Orange has always had a chaotic streak, it just takes certain circumstances for him to tap into it. They would be able to get Red back for his pranking.
Orange would teach Chosen and Dark all about modern video games. They know video games, sure, they destroyed Angry Birds. But I think playing Minecraft would solve both of their problems. At least a lot of them.
I don't have many headcanons for Victim, I just haven't seen enough of him to get a solid enough foundation to make headcanons, but as an oldest child I can relate to him on a spiritual level. He may be gray now but with those three as younger siblings he's gonna get a whole lot grayer.
Gosh I love them so much, a house with all four Hollowheads would be the most chaotic house ever. Victim– the eldest with an actual job, no nonsense, the less-than-respected Holder of the Braincell. Since he is out of the house a lot because of Job, the responsibility falls to Chosen– older middle child, delinquent, failure of a cook and the only one Dark will listen to. Speaking of Dark– younger middle child, Chaos Incarnate, fellow delinquent and Escape Artist Extraordinaire, he is a terrible influence on the youngest– Orange. Orange is the black sheep of the family in that he is actually rather emotionally stable. He's in school, has friends, hobbies– his brothers just a bit jealous but supportive anyway. He also helps Dark prank the others; he's got great aim with water balloon catapults.
I cannot impress upon you enough how much they love each other. Their lives have been filled with isolation, suffering, rejection– but now they've found family in likewise people. None of them are alone anymore. Sure, Orange wasn't really alone to begin with, but surely he noticed how different he was from RYGB. He's not replacing them, not for a million dollars, but it is nice to have brothers who are similar to you.
#WOOO this was long!#I love these dorks so so much#this was fun#I really should write some more for them they have so much potential#if there are typos in this I will get to them in the morning#*tosses this at anon and falls back into bed*#alan becker#animator vs animation#rage's ramblings about sticks#thanks for the ask btw#it was a lot of fun <3#stick figure headcanons

omfg the OC with the hat and shadows over their eyes, are they single? 😳👉👈
damn i haven't drawn this guy in a year. OC neglect goes crazy.
Atm he's single, but part of his deal is that he's kinda the crazy obsessive Aishite, Aishite, Aishite type [tho i have The Wolf as his little character song] so.
it's probably for the best he stays that way.

Favorite flavor of k2? By which I mean your favorite au for them as a couple, or maybe a favorite scenario?
Hi Nonnie!!!
There are so many different flavors to chose from! And oh my god everyone writes them so ridiculously well! They genuinely work so well with each other and I adore the opposite sides of the spectrum they’re on where one is blatantly reckless even when his well being is at risk and the other is a perfectionist.
I personally LOVE hurt/comfort fics with them. Like Kyle inviting Kenny to stay over for the night if it’s getting rough at his own house, or when author slap Kyle with an ED (bro it’s literally one of my favorite ways I’ve seen this bitch written, I have a problem) and Kenny comes over to eat with him and encourage and support his recovery.
Also my dear mutual @everythingwasnormalhere has written some KILLER k2 in their fic Oops I beat some Colorado kids with a stick sorry not sorry. I think the two k2 oneshots in there are Friendship and The Smell of Wildflowers and they altered my brain chemistry. I have plenty more recs and will no doubt make a list of its wanted.
#south park#kenny mccormick#kyle broflovski#sp k2#THEYRE JUST SO CUTE#i love them#criminally insane little maniacs#thanks for the ask btw#im super busy now that schools started up and want to stock pile asks#so I can keep my interaction up#plus I love k2 more than a healthy amount

Do you think bowyer would bite someone?
I thought about this way too long and hard & it’s probably not the answer you were expecting 😂
My version of Bowyer specifically, I don’t think would be inclined to bite someone in a fight. I don’t he would bite someone smaller than him because it would make him unable to use any other method of attack (can’t reach well with arms and bowstring is definitely out of the question), possibly block his line of sight, and leave him exposed to attacks from other enemies. And almost everyone is smaller than him. Basically it would put him at a disadvantage. I think he would be more likely to claw and shock others with electricity as close range attacks.
But I think he would bite THINGS, e.g. bite a can to open it, or bite something to show off his cool metal teeth. He could bite Yaridovich and probably has. Though this would only be a mild inconvenience.
Mack/Claymorton on the other hand I think would clamp his mouth around something & because he’s fiery inside it would hurt a lot.

‘scuse the self-indulgence, i’m in the throes of two hyperfixations; needed to tell you that i think ed would really love specifically the live/SMS version of swamp by talking heads. probably also all of speaking in tongues. maybe just their whole discography. idk. thoughts?
oh no worries, this whole blog is just me indulging myself lol. i can totally see ed being into talking heads! and swamp specifically since it's the one i'm listening to right now. i haven't heard a ton of their discography (i'm more of a tom tom club fan myself), but i do like their playful sound and very... for lack of a better word, quirky style. ed's an artsy guy so i think it works well haha. i always see ed as mostly a rocker/metalhead and a really big primus fan, and swamp kinda has a primus vibe in a really weird, reachy way. at least this live version anyway. i'm into it!
#i know david byrne has some solo stuff that's pretty interesting and varied in terms of genre#any of the eds might like his solo work but i'd say it fits most with what i think edd would enjoy#ed might like that one song “horses” since it's pretty spooky#sorry don't mind me i'm just talking to myself in the tags as usual#thanks for the ask btw#i love talking about about my favorite things which are music and eds :)

An evil team…that sounds fascinating! However, it may be best to refrain from joining at the moment. I would need more information first, though I greatly appreciate the offer.

You asked for spam?? Anon spam perhaps?? But anyway what's ur least fav ship tell me I'm nosey
First who are u second what fandom third WHO ARE YOU
Huuuuuuhh.. the fandoms im into are dhmis and Slendytubbies so, my last fav im dhmis is may brieffcase x Warren? I mean, im multishipper and i dont hate that ship in specific, but ig i dont see really a good dynamic, Warren's unemployed basically and Brieff sure would see him like his brother in derogative way.
And in Slendytubbies im also very multishiper, but i think any ship between the main four/the quarter cuz i see 'em like siblings, but i dont care if someone ships it, just not my cup of tea.
Who are . U

Does Okidogi know he's the favorite? Is Momo subtle about it at least. Do the other two resent him for it?
Okidogi is kind of oblivious towards the fact that Momo see´s him as his fave. He is the typical loyal dog that thinks the world of their master so to speak. Of course the other two are not as dense as him and recognize their Masters favorism towards the large dog.
That said, all three are quite close in terms of friendship, so Fezandipity and Munkidori don´t resent Okidogi for it.
Oh and Momo shows it clearly that Dogi is his fave, though in general Momo is like an open book when it comes to these things, so yeah.

putrefaction : do you believe in soulmates? what about reincarnation? if so, do you believe your beloved has always been your beloved?
Ok, so this is a bit hard to answer.... Because i want to believe it, so much...so often... But i can't shake the idea that even if it existed, i wouldn't be in it?
So lets jot it down as a maybe... But as a fanfic trope it goes so hard and i eat it up every time <3

One other thing Mineru is good for is walking across dangerous ground (lava, gloom, etc.)
Good point. However, there are so many other easier or more fun ways to get over those. Like shield surfing. Or spring shields. Or bomb shields. Or rocket shields. Or just building a flying device.
It's insane how you can replace Mineru with a good shield and it becomes better.
Plus, if Nintendo wanted me to use Mineru to travel, the least they could do is make her travel fast. I'm not even talking about horse speeds. At least make her as fast as Link when he's not sprinting! I don't think that's a lot to ask!
#there are so many problems with mineru#i love her as a character#but she sucks as a sage.#legend of zelda#tears of the kingdom#mineru#thanks for the ask btw#i dont get a lot of those

What are your top 5 fav books (fiction) ever? Why love them?
Oooh this is an incredibly hard question and I'm probably going to make sound a bit pretentious about my choices, lmao
In no particular order (because that's too much pressure!)
1.) War of the Worlds by H.G. Wells
I actually remember my dad putting of Jeff Wayne's musical version of War of the Worlds during long car rides - I used to fall asleep to the sounds of an alien invasion!
And it's probably that version that I do truly love, however huge chunks of the narration are lifted straight from the book, so it counts.
It's just them seeing the cannons and the artilleryman saying "bows and arrows against the lightning." It's that fear that no matter how advanced, how prepared, there's just no defence against the Martian invaders. It's the hopeless panic during the exodus from London; that whole scene is so evocative. It's the image of the Martian Tripod above Big Ben that gives me Chills every time. It's the Thunderchild sinking and "taking humanity's last hope of survival. The earth belonged to the Martians." It's the Red Weed and the religious desperation of the preacher; the deluded daydreams of the artilleryman. It's the reporter feeling so, SO alone that he decides to run at the Martians to try and end his life.
(It's the eerie silence, the lack of the Martian's cry, the birds.)
It's the ending scene with his wife in the garden.
It's just all so very human at its core. It's so very Edwardian and timeless.
(I also love The Time Machine)
2. The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton
It's the opening line. It's that the ending line IS the opening line. The loop of that day and the inevitability of what follows.
It's Ponyboy trusting everything he knows so blindly at the beginning of the novel, and being so desperate to be part of his older brother's world. It's the inevitable, brutal coming of age.
It's a love story. But it's not. But it is. (And so many kinds of love!) Ponyboy loves Johnny. He loves Cherry. He loves Dally. He loves his brothers.
It's a little time capsule into the street culture of the 1960s and its beautiful and heartbreaking.
(I also loved Tex, too!)
3.) The Railway Children by E. Nesbit
Similar to War of the Worlds, I think it's more that I have a personal connection with the story, as opposed to loving the book. The November before last, I played Peter in a local theatre production of The Railway Children, and it was an absolute joy. I adored getting to be an Edwardian boy for two and a half hours every night (even a cast member forgot I wasn't actually born male lmao), and the three children got so close that it does feel as though I have two sisters now lmao (And we still meet up regularly!)
It's the simplicity, I think. It's the three children finding themselves in the countryside and how very relatable what they do still is. Right down to the dialogue - I adore: "It's like we're sitting in a besieged castle, with arrows raining down on the battlements!"/"It's more like a great garden squirt."/"YOU'RE a great garden squirt." They talk and act like siblings and it's a joy.
It's the children against the backdrop of their arrested father and the horrors of the outside world that Schepanksy brings.
But I'm mostly very attached to Peter now. He's in an intriguing position of being The Boy and The Man of the House, and yet he's not the eldest, and I think that's very confusing for him. Of course, I'm projecting a little, but I think that's the core of why I'm so attached to the story - it really does capture the time and place so truly.
(Steam trains are also genuinely very exciting! If you ever get the chance to see one in action - you definitely should!)
(The Five Children and It series, though racially insensitive at times, is also very good. And I loved Jerry in the Enchanted Castle.)
4.) My Sister Jodie by Jacqueline Wilson
Decidedly less pretentious, lol
I've read Jacqueline Wilson all through my childhood - even when I was definitely too young for some of them! My Sister Jodie, though, is the one I constantly come back to.
Jodie and Pearl get the chance to go to a boarding school because their parents work there. The boarding school is victorian, with a tower and everything. Most of the book is about the summer them and the few boarders staying the holidays - because even though Pearl thrives in the new environment, Jodie does not.
Honestly, the description of the school and the grounds and the badgers all feels like a daydream. Wilson is kind of like Nesbit in that way; she really captures what it feels like to be a child. It's simple and to be honest, until the end, not a lot really HAPPENS, but it's still enchanting.
It was the first book where I was incredibly angry at the ending because - that's not how books end! (No spoilers though!) And yet, everytime I re-read it now, I see how well foreshadowed it is.
It's really Jacqueline Wilson at her best.
5.) The Magician's Guild by Trudi Canavan
Lord Dannyl has lived rent-free in my mind for over a decade. I find it very funny that the character I grew most attached to was the closeted gay one. (And I didn't even pick up on the subtext when I first read it at 11. It's actually a big plot line - Dannyl's suppression of his sexuality is very powerful.) I adore my little researcher wizard - I adore his librarian boyfriend. (There needs to be more Tayend/Dannyl fics on Ao3! We need to revive this ship!)
He's actually not the main character - the main character is Sonea, and even though she's not a noble, she has magic. The trilogy focuses very much on classism, and the question of what is 'good magic' and what is 'bad magic.' The magic system itself is very thought through and well done - magicians can do some cool things without being world breaking. The three different schools of magic are a fun idea. Akkarin is a really great, complex character.
I also love that we get a thieves plotline! They're all very fun and the city of Kyralia feels tangible through them.
Overall, it's a fantasy trilogy that really stuck with me and shaped a lot of my ideas going forward. (I essentially borrowed Dannyl and Tayend in the novel I wrote for my dissertation!)
I tried to stick to books that I've loved, or feel significant, but I've also recently really enjoyed:
The Gentleman's Guide to Vice and Virtue trilogy, The Last Binding Trilogy, Laura Sebastian's books, I love Christina Henry's retellings, I really loved We Have Always Lived in the Castle, and Stephen King's The Talisman.

AU where Nefarion ends up in the past, say directly after Val and Skul have defeated his counterpart: he doesn't care that Skulduggery might try and kill him, he's just surprised that Valkyrie could look harmless.
I mean she was a child, she could not have looked too threatening. And Nef has only ever seen her as a scary teen or a scary adult, imagine seeing baby sorcerer Val and wondering wth happened?!
This is long, but I thought with your Skulduggery posts you might like it?
This would be hilarious! I imagine he would spend a good minute laughing at how short she is, confusing lil val because didnt they just kill this guy?? Why does he know my taken name??
Skulduggery would definitely try to murder him, even though nef is unlikely to care much.
Nefarian would have too much fun making fun of them and freaking them out by knowing information he shouldn't, just generally being a little shit.
#thanks for the ask btw#i love hearing peoples aus and headcanons#and this situation is too funny#skulduggery pleasant#nefarian serpine#valkyrie cain
