Sure, they both have their own issues and maybe their energies mixed together might be a tad bit catastrophic, but also they’re both really well versed in their own feelings and emotions. Kyle is stubborn and values his morals and social status. Whereas Tweek is cautious/paranoid, feisty and doesn’t want to be in the spotlight. They kind of balance each other out? In a way?

I might be getting things wrong, but Kyle’s stubbornness can lead him to stick with Tweek through his tough times and emotions (sure, Kyle gave up on Stan because of his emotions but that’s a completely different set of emotions, if you feel me?), and Tweek can make Kyle rethink his approaches and give him a new viewpoint. Tweek can lead Kyle into thinking that what others think of him isn’t all it’s cracked up to be.

They’re both also not afraid to fight. Sure, that can be a bad thing, but that just means that they’ll happily stand up for the other and keep each other in line if things were to get dicey.

Like I’ve probably mentioned before, I want to draw these two again at some point. But today is not the day; instead, today is the day you get your headcanons, Anon!

Alrighty, so Neige/Vil…

Neige has a crush on Vil, and this crush has been with him ever since their first meeting. But he isn’t really sure about the nature of these feelings. He is very open about them with his dwarf friends though: sometimes he comes back from work happy and singing because he met Vil after his photoshoot and had a chat with him. So they all know that he is either in love or just really really really wants to be Vil’s friend. Neige isn’t sure which one it is either.

Neige remembers how cool and professional Vil looked when they first met, how he shook his hand and stuff. It wasn’t Vil’s first time on set, even though it was his first role, so he really made Neige feel comfortable by just being so confident and relaxed and excited. Neige really treasures this memory, but Vil doesn’t seem to remember much of it.

But what Vil does remember is that he thought they were going to become friends back then. Maybe it was because Neige asked him to be his friend, maybe it was because they had a lot of fun that day, but unfortunately it was one of many potential friendships that got ruined by the adults comparing these two to each other. It was pretty early on when Vil decided that he’d never be Neige’s friend. Neige is kind of oblivious to this whole thing though, he thinks that Vil is his friend, and the main reason he’s so distant is that he is just way too cool and professional and busy to hang out with him.

Vil has influenced Neige’s style a lot. He has no idea just how much time Neige spends looking at his magicam and taking notes and trying very hard to find clothes that would look as if Vil has picked them for him. If you talked to him about it, he would chuckle and say that he is too shy to ask Vil directly.

Which isn’t a complete truth though: he isn’t really shy around Vil. He gets so excited that he forgets about his shyness entirely and starts talking and clinging to Vil and trying to make him pay attention to him. He is completely enamored and he stares a lot at him in general. He really wishes they’d spend more time together…

A lot of times Vil just rolls eyes at Neige (always sneakily though, he knows better than to show a fellow actor his distaste for him), but he does admire his professionalism. And yes, there are moments when he thinks that Neige isn’t just overly cute and sweet, but actually quite a good-looking guy. Not entirely his type, but still handsome nonetheless…. Why is he thinking about it, again?

Vil is, like I mentioned, oblivious about Neige’s feelings. If anything, he believes that Neige is simply being a nice innocent boy and is friendly with everyone, so there isn’t anything special about the way he treats Vil. But jokes on you, Vil, because every single selfie with you that Neige takes instantly become Neige’s phone lock screen for weeks, until his management asks him to change it into something else.

Neige doesn’t have a lot of selfies with Vil though, because Vil always comes up with an excuse to avoid it. He is either in a hurry, or doesn’t feel good, or has a bad hair day, there’s always something that prevents Neige from taking a selfie with Vil. So it’s kind of a personal mission for Neige at this point lol Their fanbases also crave for this selfie… The day NeigeVil finally drop a picture of them together, the internet is going to explode.

A couple of spicy ones; if these two were to find themselves in any kind of intimate situation (even if it’s just a pretend thing for a role or something), Neige would comment about how much more experienced Vil is, and how he’ll work hard to be on his level. This comment sounds horrible to Vil in any context: the idea of Neige working hard to be a perfect lover to him is too cursed to consider. But it’ll still make him blush.

And jokes on Vil once again, because Neige is such a fast learner, that one moment he is a very sloppy kisser, and then suddenly he kisses and touches his body in all the right places because “he just felt like it’d make Vi-kun feel nice there”. Vil is going to both get overwhelmed by how good it feels, and be in agony because fuck you Neige stop being a prodigy at everything.

1. Who makes up your family?  How close are you to them?

My immediate family is my parents, my three sisters: Shawna, Lisa, and Camille (but we all call her Cami), and me, but my Nana (my grandma) has always lived with us so I'd include her too. I think I'm pretty close to them.

My older sisters, Shawna and Lisa, are always going to see me as their dorky little brother, I think, but they've always looked out for me. Nana says used to treat me like their doll when I was little and would dress me up in silly clothes and loved pushing me around the in stroller like they were playing house, but I don't remember that beyond her stories and some pictures. I do remember playing together with my sisters as kid though. They both have much stronger personalities than me, so I think they liked that I would just go along with whatever they said and whatever games they wanted to play. Shawna can be really bossy sometimes, and Lisa's really into a lot of girly stuff I don't know that much about, but we always had fun together. They tease me for being hopeless with girls (instead of, you know, actually giving me useful advice), but I know we've got each other's backs.

Cami is my little sister, and she's 7. Shawna and Lisa were 15 and 17 when she was born, but I was only 12 so I think we've always been a little bit closer, especially when our older sisters went away to college and we were the only kids still living at home. Our parents work a lot so we spent a lot of time together just the two us and Nana. We like to watch cartoons together, and Cami loves stories, especially comic books (and I have a pretty big collection of those). She was really sad when I left for college, and I really miss her, but we talk on the phone a lot.

5. What is your favorite thing to do in your free time?

I love spending time outdoors. Hiking is probably my favorite thing to do, but I love pretty much all outdoor activities, except fishing. It's too boring.

I like spending time with my friends too, so the best is when they tag along on my hiking trips. There's a lot of parks in the city including a nature preserve with a lot of hiking trails close to our college, and we'll all go out there sometimes when the weather is nice. Hero and Lorraine pack picnics for us. It's always a lot of fun!

6. What's the hardest thing you’ve ever had to do?

It was hard to move around a lot and keep leaving my friends when I was a kid. I missed them so much and it has hard to keep in touch from so far away, but now I have pen pals all over the world so that's pretty cool! 🥰

I guess getting over some painful breakups was hard too. Heartbreak can be hard to recover from, but I don't think any of my failed relationships left me shattered and swearing off love forever like poor Hero (or at least I think that's what happened to him...? I don't know all the details, but I can tell his heart is broken and he doesn't think he'll ever be happy again. I worry about him sometimes... 🩷).

Compared to that and everything that happened to Kyle's knee, I don't think anything I've been through has been all that bad. Even my sister has had a rougher time than me, I think. I've had some normal tough times like everybody does, but nothing too lifechanging.

7. Who do you look up to?

My mom! She's so nice and so beautiful, and she has this way of making everybody happy, even when they're having a bad day. When I still lived at home and would invite my friends over, they would say she was like another mom to them because she always makes them feel so welcome and like part of our family. She's amazing at baking, crafts, and especially at gardening, and it's almost like she has this superpower where she can just look at person and know what's bothering them and what will make them feel better. I've always wanted to be just like her! ����

8. What do you think had the biggest impact on you growing up?

I think being encouraged to practice my music and follow my dreams had a really big impact on me. My parents wanted me to do well in school, of course, but they knew how much I loved playing piano so they always made sure I had lessons and time for practice too and would drive me all over the country for recitals, concerts, and competitions. My parents never made me feel like my music was a waste of time.

When I went away to college, I ended up choosing a double major in music and education because I love teaching too, and they were always really supportive of me. I think I might have given up on my dreams if it hadn't been for them.

I also have to mention Andre! He's been my best friend for as long as I can remember, and we've always been really supportive of each other and our dreams (even when they led us to universities thousands of miles away from each other). Getting to meet him and grow up together (and eventually to fall in love 💕) also had a really big impact on me! 💜

15. Do you play any instruments?  Which ones?  How long have you been playing?

Yes! I can actually play a lot of instruments at least a little bit 😅--mostly keyboard instruments like the piano, organ, synthesizer, keytar, melodica, and the harpsicord. Some of my friends from band in high school tried to teach me how to play some of their instruments, and I got pretty good at the clarinet, I think, which made it easier to play the melodica. At college, I've been trying to branch out into strings. My university has a program where its music majors teach private lessons to kids and other people in the community. I teach piano, but a friend of mine teaches viola and another teaches cello, and after our lessons wrap up for the day, we've all been staying late so teach each other our instruments a little bit. It's been fun, but I wouldn't say I'm very good at either of those yet.

My favorite instrument and the one I'm best at is definitely the piano. I've been playing since I was 4, and I love it! It's amazing to get to play piano at college too--though I'll admit I'm getting a little sick of playing Chopin. The chair of the music department's favorite composer is Chopin so I keep getting assigned his pieces for my student showcases, and I'd really like to play something else every now and again (Maybe some Debussy or some Rachmaninoff 🤞).

At my other part time job, I play popular music on piano at a restaurant, and that's always fun! I love transcription projects and getting to play people's (my friends') favorite songs on piano for them. 🥰

Good question!

I know for me personally, I like to have a balance in my life. I made a conscious effort at the start of this year to try to stop procrastinating so much in my life, and tbh I feel like I'm doing pretty well! 😁👍🏾 I'm getting more done, and I'm a LOT less stressed because I'm not procrastinating as much.

I've done MUCH better than I was doing last year. I honestly didn't feel all that good being online and on social media that much. It was starting to consume my life and I didn't like the feeling. 😩 Plus, I wasn't getting some of the things done that I needed to get done in my personal life. 😔

That's when I knew that I needed to make a change.

The easiest way to get rid of a habit is to just STOP cold turkey. It's a lot easier said than done, and the first couple of weeks are really TOUGH, but once you get on a roll, you find that it's really easy to continue with it, and you actually stop craving whatever it was that you were addicted to.

Now days, I just give myself breaks from tumblr or social media every now and then. It's REALLY refreshing. 😊

I also actually have a very active life lol, so I can't be consumed with Tomdaya 24/7. 😂 Honestly, ever since July 2nd happened, I've been SO CHILL about their relationship.....I don't worry about them at all, because they look sooo happy, and there's nothing to worry about, nothing to prove anymore, and nothing to have to think about. Lol 😆

Tomdaya 2.0 is waaaay more FUN (imo), chill and relaxed than Tomdaya 1.0 ever was lol 😆 🤣 And I'm talking about the shipping side as well! Now days I just wait for whatever tea comes out, and even if I'm late with seeing it, I'm not worried at all. I just smile and love to see my two favorite people happy together while they're out and about spotted together ❤

Maybe you can put a timer on your phone for certain apps and only allow yourself an alloted time per day to be on it?

Try to find a hobby outside of Tomdaya/the internet/social media Anon. 🥰 I'm fortunate that I have a lot of really good friends and do a lot with them. This past weekend I went to a play with friends, went out to dinner with another friend, and this weekend I'm going to a graduation party and also the movies, etc.

Find some things to do outside of being online, on social media, or Tomdaya. You will feel MUCH happier, I promise you lol.

Like, don't get me wrong, it's fun to discuss Tomdaya and all, but Tomdaya isn't my LIFE. I don't suggest any celebrity being anybody's life. It's not healthy imo. 😔 They're out there enjoying each other and their lives, and you should do the same! 😊👍🏾

Just start limiting how much you go online/searching Tomdaya stuff. Start TODAY!! 😃Maybe tell yourself you're only going to devote an hour to them a day or smthg. You can start and stop your timer on your phone throughout the day.

That helped me a lot when I was finding that I was spending way too much time on the internet when I should have been doing other more important things. 😄

The words in the background of each character seemingly represents a key factor of their character ( Derek is well...wealthy, Jack's a cop, and Komodo and Dragon are into cult shit ) and then there's Machete who's words are "Mercy"....LIKE... THAT'S SO INTERESTING RIGHT???? WHAT DOES THAT MEAN???? GAHHAHAHA IT MAKES ME EXCITED TO CONSIDER WHAT COOL STORY SHIT CAN COME OF IT LOL!!!!!

His mask is also obviously clearly different from the rest of them and Gato has mentioned that she is proud of the masks because they all have meanings! So that's note worthy too I think!!

There's also his necklace which looks like it has significance in some way? (But mabye that's a bit too speculative) I wouldn't be surprised if his necklace did have meaning though!!

In a post where Gato gave a brief description of the hunters this was the description of Machete "Machete: A man of very few words. His preference for action sometimes upsets the others." It's kinda hard to infer anything from this but it's an interesting way to describe his character from Gato's part!

If I were to get super super speculative on what I think he could be like in the game I'd probably guess that there is a distinct motive for him killing ( Mabye he has a really emotional based motive or smth. Basically I think he does have some moral code ) but I do think he's not just doing it for the sake of doing it like Derek or Jack. I think that he's particularly un-diplomatic but I think that he can be convinced to not hurt the captives/players?? the whole trip was so fun to write because i wanted them to get time away from everyone else where it’s just THEM being together and not having to worry about anything 🥹 and yes the sex 🤭 perhaps i planned that entire trip for them around that scene 🤭

i really love to incorporate a scene in all of my fics where it shows how connected beard and ted are without having to directly have to say “hey this is bothering me, can you talk me through it?” the show has made it so beautifully clear that beard and ted understand one another on a molecular level and i love getting to show that when ted is overthinking something, beard can immediately clock it and ask him what the deal is 🥹

and yeah “hi love/hi baby” clearly my favorite pet names for them fnsjdjsjsjs

It’s super important to me that Ted’s family meets Rebecca and is welcoming of her because they can see how much she loves him and how much he loves her and i absolutely love writing Ted’s mom which is why i use the same character in all of my fics LMAO judy lasso supremacy! 🫡

I’m also actually really happy that the reveal had been so well received in the comments this chapter has gotten because i know a lot of people don’t like baby fics but it was always clear from the beginning of this story that it was going to happen once they got together dnskdksksks i kept dropping hints everywhere

Ramble Anon, kind of here again? It’s been a few days, at least!

I have been mostly channeling my excitement for the new episode into writing an exploratory fic of sorts - not based on the episode itself, but an exploration of the LadyNoir fallout and how the same scenario can look wildly different to two separate perceptions within that scenario (and then it kind of, kept growing from there). But I noticed there has been a few different discussions on fanfics recently and I was wondering if it was okay to ramble/get advice about branching into the writing of fanfiction?

I adore all of the works that you have written - especially your Three’s a Crowd series with Alya as the main perspective (the little section where she talks about how full everyone’s head is while acknowledging her own inquisitive nature is probably one of my favourite parts of any fic featuring Alya as a main voice), and I was actually kind of curious if there was anything to look out for as a fic writer? If you wouldn’t mind sharing of course! I know writing is a cultivated skill and Tumblr is a cultivated platform, and the only way to really get a feel or a foothold for either is to simply dig in and try it out to see what works and what does not. (And I am, kind of doing neither by slinking around on Anon). But for just, using AO3? Or updating fics in general? Are there any tags that there should be a need for clarification on, or to try and avoid to steer clear of the salt side of fanfics or anything like that? Or is one simply going to have to brace for the inevitable instance of unhappy circumstance when it comes to submitting any part of oneself into the world for all and sundry to see?

Although, if I do create an AO3 account, that means I can finally go through and comment on all the fics I love (and hopefully restrict myself from spamming anyone who has a lot of fic…)

for writing advice, i do have to admit upfront that i haven’t really cultivated the skill in a very systematic way? don‘t get me wrong, i work really hard on my stories, but a lot of what i’ve learned is through reading lots of things and talking with other writers. i would definitely recommend that if you have some writer friends to chat with them about their stories and your stories. learn about their process! get their feedback on yours! even just talking through ideas with other readers can help too.

some people have written guides for tagging on ao3, but personally i just look through tags on similar fics. for avoiding salters, aside from the obvious tags, stay away from “marinette dupain cheng deserves better” (or, at this point, “adrien agreste deserves better” given the marinette salt level now) as well as tags like “alya cesaire redemption“ because alya and other characters shouldn’t need it in the first place. i also avoid a lot of chloe tags like “chloe bourgeois being chloe bourgeois“ unless i already know the author. i’m sure there are others i’m not thinking of but these come to mind first. but sometimes salty commenters show up either way. they get easier to tolerate over time but they’re never fun.

lastly i would recommend getting a beta if you can! they can help with tagging and stuff too and even give you a feel for how fandom might react. even if they aren’t a writer you can share the story privately and ask for their reactions as a reader before posting. good luck!

This is such a difficult question to answer, I can’t pick 😭 Pretty much every title that we watch or read or play has a bunch of characters that I adore drawing, but I guess I gravitate towards characters with long hair and unusual hairstyles or outfits?? I also feel the urge to try to draw a character when they are out of my comfort zone, which doesn’t mean that I always do it or good at it, but I always have fun drawing stuff in a different art style (like the guys from Scott Pilgrim),with complicated outfits (like Barok van Zieks) or with mechanic parts (like Ortho!)… but the last one is pretty recent, I just noticed that I kind of enjoy drawing it. I guess I love a challenge? In a way? It’s just more fun that way.

By my comfort type of character and a default option would be a gloomy boy/girl in a hoody, my heart is always smiling whenever I draw this type.

Examples of some of my faves throughout the years (without twst): Levi (SnK), Ainosuke (sk8), Killua (HxH), Shiroba (DMMD), Apollo Justice (AA), Geto (JJK)… this is just a few of them.

I also still think that Prussia from Hetalia is our ultimate boy because I’ve been drawing him for about 15 years now lol

I still giggle every time I think about how we ended up with poor Riddle being surrounded by busty girls, I swear it wasn’t intentional. But the more I think about it, the funnier and more Freudian it gets… what an aggressive way to heal mommy issues and an acute deficiency of tight hugs.

To answer your question, I think Riddle was kind of surprised when she saw Trey after being separated because she didn’t think boobs could get that big. Logically yes, it makes sense, but seeing it in person is different. Riddle always does her best to be proper and act like a lady, but I can imagine her eyes sliding down all the time during their first conversation. Trey would absolutely notice…

Riddle is indeed very curious, and it’s pretty obvious, but she would never talk about it or even ask to touch Trey’s boobs, but maybe one day… you know, for science… or Trey is just going to offer it herself lol save that girl, Trey.
