My favorite video game series of all time is actually The Legend of Zelda. (Did you all think it was CoD?) I've played almost all of them. The only ones I'm missing are Skyward Sword, Spirit Tracks and A Link Between Worlds. My favorite game of all time is The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening.

I have Ordinal linguistic personification and grapheme–color synesthesia. It was a lot stronger when I was a kid, but I associate personalities and colors with certain letters and numbers. I actually used to dislike the letter E because she was very assertive almost. a bully. (E is green)

I really love pineapple on pizza. My go-to pizza order is pineapple and black olives (sweet & salty). I didn't realize it was also Deadpool's pizza order (not burnt though) until the movie came out. Though I don't care to enter the debate, I'm from Chicago, I've heard it all already.

Omg babes, it was SO cold and wet but totally worth it! I’d do it ten times over 🫡

The team dynamic/vibes on the sideline were great! That’s one thing I definitely noticed - winning obvi helps with that but the team was definitely in good spirits. Towards the beginning of the game, everyone was more focused and locked in but as things progressed, the players started to joke around and interact with the fans more. At one point, Derwin came running over to our section after a big defensive play, Bozeman was also waving and smiling to the crowd, Daiyan was playing some version of air ‘rock paper scissors’ with some fans too lol

ALSO having JK back was everything! You could tell he was so excited to be out there again. He was very animated on the sideline and it was so great to see!!

I think the cutest moment was when Justin noticed some young fans in the crowd mid-game and he waved at them and said “after”. And obviously, the Chargers posted him running to those same young fans after the game and signing some things for them. It was really sweet of him to keep his promise and really cool to see that unfold in real time.

As for Justin, he was really involved on the sideline. After every offensive drive, regardless if they scored or not, he would walk down the sideline and give everyone high-fives or a little pep talk. He was also smiling and seemingly cracking jokes with a lot of different guys throughout the game as well.

There were points where I found myself watching Justin more than the game 😬 but likeeeee can you blame me? It was also really cool to see both sides of Justin, Football Justin would come out when it was his time to take the field or go over a play with Coach Day but baby boy/‘football is fun’ Justin would come out when he was chilling on the sidelines (with his beanie 🥹)

The more shit he talks the more fun it will be for Baki to absolutely beat his sorry ass to a pulp in front of EVERYBODY. And guess what? When Ali Jr. is beat half to death, blubbering in unimaginable pain, it's going to be Baki that gets to go home with you and enjoy your company. And he intends to fully enjoy his time with you, being pampered and doted on for being your strong champion. <3

As for Yujiro... It's a mixed bag. Muhammad's father is one of the few people Yujiro truly respects, and as such, he doesn't treat Ali Jr with the disrespect and contempt he treats most people. I think he would be pretty amused with Ali's flirting, maybe even commend him on his good taste. But the moment he takes it a step too far and either asks you on serious date or (god forbid) tries to put his hands on you in some way, that boy will be knocked out so hard his ass won't know what hit him. Since he would want to at least try and avoid killing him, Yujiro will instead make sure to put him a coma so that he's out of the picture for a very long time. :)

You always hear the saying that goes something along the lines of “There’s nothing more special than a boy and his dog.” and that’s the kind of relationship Adler had with his childhood dog.

He had a childhood dog that he really saw as his best friend when he was really, really young (I’d say from age 6 to about maybe age 12) like that!!! that was his buddy!!!

The breed was something pretty typical for a well to do American family at the time — like a Golden Retriever or Labrador Retriever but definitely a medium to large breed for sure.

When that dog passed he was pretty devastated and his parents decided not to get another for various reasons, but that dog left an impression on him for the rest of his life.

For the very brief period of time that he considered having a family, he always imagined a dog of a similar breed/type in the picture. It was a VERY important part of the family dynamic for him.

He and his ex-wife did end up getting a Labrador puppy, probably in a desperate bid to make her happy when things were getting rocky, but it just wasn’t the same.

He was rarely home, and barely saw either of them. It ended up becoming a sad reminder of the state of their marriage. The dog ended up providing more comfort and companionship to her than he ever did.

When they divorced, she took the dog with her and he hasn’t seen it since, but Adler still thinks of him time and hopes he had a good life with his ex.

He recognizes after his divorce that having a pet was unrealistic. He was never home, and their would be no one to take care of it. It would be unfair to subject any animal to that.

As Adler grows older though he very much comes to enjoy the company of cats, probably equal to or even more so than dogs. He appreciates their independence and the quiet company they provide.

Will definitely stop and pet stray animals if he’s not actively on a mission, but lowkey does it in secret because he doesn’t want people he’s a softie.

He’s a bit more wary of dogs though due to the fact that they get used for guard/attack work a lot, but cats? Adler will for sure stop and pet them, especially if they ask for pets!

Did I mention he becomes more of a cat guy once he gets older? Because at a certain point as much as he loves dogs he only really sees himself having a cat in his home.

There’s a lovely stray tomcat that wanders on to his property in Langley that he begrudgingly becomes pals with but he refuses to take in.

Makes a pact with the old lady next door to make sure it gets fed and taken care of when he’s not around. Even gets it neutered and vaccinated so the cat stops getting into fights with other tomcats and so he won’t catch any diseases.

Refuses to acknowledge it as his cat though (He secretly names it “Bud” or something along those lines) but also doesn’t say anything when the old lady next door calls it his cat.

Greets ‘Bud’ every time he comes home from a deployment.

Anything apart from a dog or a cat he doesn’t see himself owning. Things like birds or reptiles he honestly doesn’t entirely understand and are very high maintenance, but if he had a partner that owned either I think he’d learn to love them in his own way.

A bit weirded out by the concept of owning something like a snake or a spider, but would keep a respectful distance and diligently take care of them if asked by his partner (he values anything his partner does as if it were his own)

Is also the typical ‘I didn’t want this pet but I will become best friends with it’ guy.

I could literally talk about Adler and animals all day this is literally pandora’s box

WIP Wednesday/Last Line Tag

His gaze darts to John’s right eye, the large bruise covering it no longer as dark as it had been a week ago but rather a greenish color surrounding a melted brown. His gut churns. 

He misses the white of the jacket making the red of breathless laughter on John’s cheeks stand out.

The army-issued jacket does not provide as much of a protection against the cold as John’s white sheepskin did, with its thick fur John never bothered to wash the dirt off. 

“It could have kept you warm. Winter’s going to be a cold one.” Those were the wrong words to say, Gale knows it immediately. He sounds like a housewife worrying about her husband going to the pub without his scarf, and his bitten nails sink in the tender skin of his palm in a silent admonition. The words are patronizing in a way that John could have laughed at were they in Texas or Idaho, but in this barren land has him raising his hackles like a dog, shoulders tensing and mouth twisting in a sneer. It twists John’s features into something dark and mean, only heightened by the purplish bags under his eyes, and Gale feels ice form in his gut, contrasting greatly with the warmth burning through his uniform where their shoulders and knees bump together.

“Y’think we’ll still be here come winter?” Bitterness makes John’s words sharp and daring, like setting a trap for Gale to fall into and greet him with bitter accusations of defeatism. It’s only been a few weeks, but Gale knows how it goes and how to feather the twinge of anger in his chest. He won’t rise to the bait. He’s a better man than his father. 

Away from them, in the clearing where the cabins are sparser and the dirt field wide and bare, the rocks are still painted with the blood of that unknown soldier. He’s too tired to play this game of tugging with John. Biting his tongue to keep stinging words back, Gale sighs, and drops his chin to his chest like he has some patience and heartfelt  reassurance left to dig from. He is nothing like his father. “I don’t think it’s a bad idea to plan in case we are,” he says carefully, letting each word weigh on his tongue before breathing life into them. Still, they sound clumsy, more of an avoidance to fight than an actual solution and Gale fears John will press deeper in the wound until even Gale snaps. Lately, things have been setting him on edge more easily. Or more things have been setting him on edge lately, Gale can’t tell the difference.

Based on the pattern of canon, reader does unwittingly know the person behind the mask, although he won't be revealed in this fic. It's possible character cameos could make you speculate about his identity. I agree it's hot to think about him absolutely railing you (or vis-versa 🤭) and then, unbeknownst to you, casually interacting in daily life 🥵🥵🥵

I associate your oc yume with the pokemon munna and it's evolution musharna!! largely for the dreams aspect, as munna/musharna are known to consume dreams and are able to formulate certain images out of dream mist. they're able to make illusions and cause a bit of unreality confusion, which I think fits yume pretty well! there's also the fact that they produce dark mist when consuming nightmares, which reminds me of yume's dark hair.

I actually have a musharna on pokemon shield which I named after yume! ^^

13. What are their spending habits?

Mila's pretty frugal, but not cheap. She didn't grow up with much so she struggles to spend money on herself. It's unlikely that she would just go shopping "for fun." Instead, only goes to stores when she needs something and only buys the thing she came for. She will though, try to buy the best quality she can afford so it will last a long time.

When it comes to buying for others though, Mila will be more generous, even if it means she'll go without.

20. Do they have a fast reaction time, or slow?

Before Adler got a hold of her, definitely fast. Now, she's still much quicker to react than the average person, but it's hard when after her head has been messed with.

First I'd like to thank these two idiots, for being so down bad for each other it's a pleasure to write them in every imaginable scenario, and for being the best OTP a writer could ask for. Angst, fluff, sexy times, comedy, they excel at everything. Nothing would be possible without them.

Then the show writers, for botching some of their storyline and not giving them the screen time they deserved, leaving so much off screen that you could write a thousand missing moments with those two and still not cover all of their storylines on the show.

The fic writers and artists, for being incredibly talented and resilient, fighting against all odds, to inspire and entertain the fandom.

You haven't thought about experimenting on a Dark!Peeta AU.

Hey @aly-moon-11!!

My gut reaction was - I am too soft to write (or even think up) a Dark!Peeta fic. I struggle with villains and conflicts in my writing as is…

But the more I thought about it, I came up with this idea and in the spirit of the 5 facts in an AU ask game:

Katniss wakes in the hospital with a concussion and memory loss- she’s been in a car crash with her husband, Ryen, and his identical twin brother, Peeta. Rye is by her side when she wakes having only suffered minor injuries- he breaks the news - Peeta died in the crash.

They head home - the funerals’s a blur - between the concussion the medication her brain is foggy. She broke her heel in the crash and spends a lot of time in bed. Rye spends as much time as possible with her, carrying her from room to room. Despite everything she’s content something that feels out of the ordinary in her previous life.

She notices Rye doesn’t add sugar in his tea - Ryen teasing his brother that ‘tea without sugar’s just soup’ pops into her mind. When she asks him, he shrugs it off ‘tastes change’

Paperwork come from the insurance it says Peeta was driving… that doesn’t make sense, Rye needed the control of being in the driver seat.

Something’s not right but she can’t focus long enough to keep track of all the discrepancies. She stops taking her medications and memories begin to return. She hadn’t been happy in the marriage before the crash: abuse, infidelity, suspicion… the only bright spot had been her friendship with Peeta

Katniss confronts Rye with her memories. He doesn’t deny it but tells her, since the crash, it’s like he’s a new man. He wants them to start again. He’d never do those things now. He tells her he fell in love with her when he heard her sing the Valley song on the first day of Kindergarten. Can they start again?

They make love

But something still doesn’t feel right… She sneaks out of bed after Rye’s falls asleep and searches the attic until she finds an old yearbook confirming what she already suspected - she shared a kindergarten class with Peeta not Rye.

Lightning flashes and she looks up to find Rye, or rather Peeta. Standing over her and she can tell that he knows she’s figured it out. “Why couldn’t you just let us be happy?”

Fade to black.

~2 months later she wakes in the hospital yet again - her mind a fog of of nightmarish visions and she can’t sort what’s real or not real.

The nurse arrives and explains that lightning had struck and their house had caught fire. Her husband had pulled her out of the flames and now they’re both here being treated for smoke inhalation and burns.

She’s lucky to have survived.

Even luckier that so had the baby…

For growing up in Harrenhal, both of them seem fairly normal from what we saw of them in the show. It is possible though that both of them could have spent less time at Harrenhal than Larys. We’re told in Fire & Blood that Lyonel studied at the Citedel for a significant amount of time before he became Lord of Harrenhal and later on he came to court to be Viserys’s master of laws and then eventually Hand.

As far as Harwin goes, I can see him potentially having been sent to ward elsewhere. Not that there’s any evidence to point to that, but it’s possible. In general at the very least, Larys’s disability would have kept him inside more than his brother who would have been preoccupied with training and outdoor activities expected of a lord’s son.

It could also be a situation like a traditional haunted house where someone with trauma and/or a more fragile mindset is more susceptible to being latched onto by Alys/whatever forces are at work in Harrenhal. Larys likely would have faced ableism since birth, which could easily lead to negative self-image and a personality more easily exploitable by Harrenhal’s darkness. For example, at least so far, Daemon’s visions in Harrenhal revolve around his own guilt and fractured relationships. If both Lyonel and Harwin had decent lives with strong relationships and no significant trauma, they might have been able to live in Harrenhal relatively unscathed.

But of course, that’s all complete speculation on my part! It’s just as likely Larys simply is Like That with no supernatural involvement from Alys/Harrenhal. I do think him mentioning it indicates he’s had some experience with the strangeness of Harrenhal, but who knows to what extent unless it’s expanded upon in later episodes.
