she hadn’t seen you since tuesday, it was friday now. but you never failed to send her a little text to ask about her day.

natasha went to your favorite bakery, getting your favorite pastries, starbucks for your favorite coffee/ tea, the makeup shop right beside that to get that blush you had run out of, and got herself some jelly for her pb&js that you loved. you were always there for her, now it was her turn to show up.

natasha had already shooed away your kind roommate, wanda, setting her up with her friend who wanda happened to have a crush on, vision.

natasha used the key you gave her to your dorm and started setting up. it was nearing 6pm when she heard your keys jingle.

you shut the door and looked up to see natasha fixing the night light on your bedside table.

“nattie” you sighed, dropping your bag on the floor and jumping on her, giving her a bone crushing hug.

“i miss you too, darling” natasha laughed “waittt i’ll be back i just need to shower, im really sweaty” you kissed her cheek “i already have that fluffy towel you like set up” natasha spoke as you walked towards the bathroom “you’re an angel”

natasha had also refilled your shampoo which was her shampoo as well. when you got out in your pajamas natasha was awaiting you on your bed.

a tray of all your favorites was reheated and sat on the floor, where you sat. “you didn’t have to do all this nattie” you pouted and she flipped on her stomach, just watching you “you deserve it” “oh oh oh! it’s this croissant i love! i haven’t eaten since 10am” you mumbled “dekta you need to take care of yourself, alright”

“mhm.. you too. how was class?” you leaned against your beside table while eating” “the usual, i missed you this week” “i missed you too. but y’know its much harder when we have events to plan for school council” “are you guys in charge of planning the graduation next next month?” “yeah we’re involved in that thing… hows practice for next weeks game?”

“i almost got dropped by the new member when we were forming a pyramid” natasha giggled “are you alright?” you sat up and she just nodded, holding you back “have you eaten?” you asked and natasha thought about it “nattieeee! you need to eat as well” you held up half of the croissant and you moved beside her on the bed, embracing her with legs and arms intertwined.

natasha switched on the tv to your guys’ comfort show, friends. “i love you, thanks for being here with me” you weren’t sure if natasha was up but you said it anyways before falling to sleep

of course the day would come where you and natasha would graduate. thankfully, the college natasha wanted was not too far from your choice of college.

it was the night before your graduation when worries overtook natasha “you’ll be there for me even from a far, right?” natasha whispered “every step of the way.” “i promise we’ll make the… sorta.. long distance thing work, ‘kay?” “i need to work, i need you to function as a human being” you giggled “good” she mumbled, falling asleep

the next morning, you were going over your speech like a crazy woman. “dekta you need to relax” natasha slipped her hand into yours and rubbed circles. “i’m going to make a fool of myself… and i have to shake like 190 people” you chuckled nervously “including meeee!” “my favorite person” you teased

natasha was the loudest in the crowd when you gave your speech, of course mentioning how she helped you through your journey.

it was almost natasha’s turn to walk up and she had something crazy in mind. natasha smiled as she saw you in beside the dean.

“Natalia Alianova Romanov” they announced and Natasha walked up confidently up the stage and shook the dean, receiving her diploma. she shook your hand as well and whispered “can i kiss you” your eyes widened and nodded as natasha took your face in her hand and one on your back. the crowed cheered and you giggled, turning red as natasha smirked walking down.

you straightened your posture as you glanced at the dean who laughed at natasha’s antics.

either way, it ended up with you and natasha together and you wouldn’t have it any other way.

Harvey Specter x Reader

You awoke early on a peaceful Saturday morning with your husband, who was groaning as he rolled over onto you. The second his face hit the bare skin of your shoulder, you felt his body heat.

"Harvey, you feel really warm. Are you feeling okay?" You asked, it felt like he had a fever.

"M'fine." He grumbled, but you heard the congestion in his voice.

"Baby... You're so sick" You said, knowing he wouldn't admit to it anyway. He didn't respond, he only squeezed you tighter. You tried to move from his grasp, but he wasn't having any of that.

"Nooo, stay with me." He whined.

"Yeah, now I really know you're sick. Since when does Harvey Specter whine?" You asked, rubbing his back lightly. "Come on, let me up so I can get you some medicine."

He sighed before relenting, rolling back onto his side of the bed, freeing you to stand. You reached a hand down, placing it on his forehead. You frowned, feeling the fever he obviously had. His eyes were still closed, but he knew you were still standing there.

"I'm not sick, I'm fine." he said, but he wasn't fooling you, and he knew it.

"Baby, even Superman gets sick sometimes. You stay here, and let your wife take care of you for once. You're always taking care of me, let me help you feel better."

He sighed again, opening his eyes and sleepily smiling.

"Fine, fine, you win. What did I do to deserve you?"

"I'm really not sure, but I think it had something to do with never taking no for an answer" you replied with a grin, walking to the bathroom to get his medicine.

You loved these little moments when he let you take care of him. They were rare, he lived and breathed to take care of you, but when you got the chance you always took it.

"Here baby, take these and go back to sleep. If you're hungry when you wake up again, I'll make you some breakfast."

He smiled softly and took them from your hand, gulping them down with some water.

"Thank you, Y/N. I love you"

"I love you too, Superman"

this is embarrassing but i DID have to stare at the quote for several minutes before i figured out EYE wrote it.... this is sweet thank youuuu <3... um i also do wanna talk about that excellent post from @frogsonabike as well bc it makes me crazyyyy.... bear with me.

so yeah! marc's docuseries is one of those interesting little exercises in self-mythologizing that is well. maybe is not the most objective way to frame his sporting story but is CERTAINLY revealing concerning what matters to MARC. like he the one producing this, he's the subject of the documentary, and a big part of the structure of the show is literally marc sitting down and giving feedback about the edit straight to camera (CONTROL FREAK.) truly. there are scenes in this show of marc straight up saying hmmm i like this but i want to make sure we include x y and zeee so people can see how normal and happy i am :) because thats something normal people do. and so the whole project is very much in his hands and shaped by how he wants himself to be perceived... like the narrative arc of the whole thing is SUPPOSSED to be focused on him getting surgery and coming back from injury -- its a straightforward sports story that lets us get to know marc a little more and sets up his (hopeful) return to health/competition. a normal if somewhat micromanaged sports documentary.

BUT marc is crazy. crucially we must never forget that marc is crazy. crucially. so instead theres this HUGE diversion in the middle of our three act play just to talk about valentino for a full fucking episode. because of course there is. and marc's all like. i know we have to talk about valentino frowny face. but my man you literally do not under any circumstances have to derail your hagiographic feel-good comeback story to talk about your ex of seven years. he is retired lol. like truly i think it all ties into how traumatizing the breakup was, ESPECIALLY the way his personal narrative got kind of removed from his control during the whole deal... like forgive me if im wrong here but dani and jorge dont make any other appearances in this thing. marc had to make that call specifically for this lol. it wasnt just i GUESS i'll talk about valentino its wait a minute lemme call the other aliens they need to be here to back me up. actually dani being there is so funny but i digress. like i think marc desperately wanted to tip a lil of the balance of the scales here and saw his chance.... which is so interesting to meeee like he can say as time passes i love him less and less but it clearly still matters to him!!!!! otherwise he wouldnt have said SHIT. and then he dropped it on their birthday lol. crazy ex-girlfriend behavior.

THIS TROPE IS TOO GOOD FOR MEEEE anyway the group Tony is the Final Girl of includes his brother Greg, Tiberius, Sunset, Justin Hammer, and a few others who weren't on-screen long enough to deserve names.

Anyway Tony definitely falls for a serial killer but who is surprised. Dubious consent and all that entails babes. Also "Rei this isn't sexy!" well IT IS TO ME and I DON'T WANNA UNPACK THAT RIGHT NOW.

"Wait," Tony gasped, brandishing the metal pipe in front of him as he was finally backed into a corner. "Wait!"

He supposed he could take satisfaction in the fact that he'd at least injured the Winter Soldier. His booby traps to try and survive the night, so he could escape in the morning, had left the Winter Soldier's right arm bleeding sluggishly; there was still a piece of barbed wire tangled in the Winter Soldier's pants. It was a cold comfort, though--the Winter Soldier was still upright, not even winded, and his steps were as steady as they had been the entire night, thudding heavily against the wood floor.

"You weren't supposed to be here," the Winter Soldier said.

Tony pressed closer into the wall behind him, breath shaking as he sucked in air. "I wasn't, I wasn't, please, I won't tell anyone what I saw--"

"You will," the Winter Soldier said, simple, matter-of-fact.

Tony swung the pipe as hard as he could, aiming for the Winter Soldier's head as a last-ditch effort. If he couldn't kill him, maybe he could at least knock him out, get himself time to run.

The Winter Soldier caught it easily, yanking it from Tony's sweat-slick hands. He tossed it over his shoulder without pause, crowding Tony into the corner. Tony tried to punch him, to shove, but found his wrists gathered into one of the Soldier's hands and pressed above his head. He shuddered, trying not to think of the ways he'd found his housemates' bodies and wondering which way would be how he'd die. Then he saw the Winter Soldier lift his hand to take off his face mask, and he squeezed his eyes shut. He would be safer if he couldn't identify him, part of him remembered from previous bodyguards, even though he doubted he'd survive this.

"Good boy," the Winter Soldier whispered, breath ghosting hot over his ear. There was approval in his voice.

Tony was ashamed of the shiver it sent through him. "Please..."

"You weren't supposed to be here," the Winter Soldier repeated firmly. "Not once did you say the words 'hail Hydra.' It was in their phones. Their emails. They'd say it to each other when you weren't here. Don't you understand? You weren't supposed to be here."

Tony's breath hitched. Hydra? He didn't think Greg would--but then, that would explain some of the jokes he'd been making lately. The knowing smirks they'd give each other that Tony didn't understand. How Greg had wheedled him into coming despite usually trying to avoid him, and Tony had been so desperate for approval he'd jumped at the chance to bond.

"You were protecting me," Tony whispered, the realization hollowing him out.

"Stay here ten minutes," the Winter Soldier ordered. "Keep your eyes closed. Then call SHIELD."

"Okay," Tony answered, voice shaking.

The Winter Soldier's free hand cupped his cheek, cool against his flushed skin. His thumb rubbed back and forth over his cheekbone. "You were very clever, little mouse. No one has ever been capable of fighting back before, and you hit me three times. Like I said... good boy."

Tony shivered again, squeezing his eyes shut tighter, and drew his hands down to his chest as the Winter Soldier finally released his wrists. "I... thank you," he finally managed. "For... for saving me."

"I don't go out of my way to kill innocents," the Winter Soldier said. There was a flatness to his tone, like he was remembering something that upset him.

"Wait," Tony said, reaching out before the Winter Soldier could step away. His fingers hooked into the Winter Soldier's tac vest, and the larger man allowed himself to be eased back in. Tony tipped his head back, keeping his eyes squeezed shut so tightly that he was sure his nose was scrunched unattractively. He went up on his toes, leaning in blindly.

"Умница," the Winter Soldier sighed against his mouth, and closed the gap between them.

The Winter Soldier pulled away as quickly as he'd come, and Tony stood there, carefully counting to six hundred before his eyes finally, hesitantly fluttered open.

He was covered in blood that wasn't his, he realized, dazed, as he searched the house for a cellphone. And he didn't even care.

A Dance Across the Stream [BBC Merlin]

A slave!Arthur fic where I really pump up the angst. Arthur has been a slave for so long that people are starting to lose hope that he's even alive. His slavers decide to auction him since his past status, health and general looks will get them a pretty penny. He's collared by magic that hurts him if he doesn't listen to his masters' orders. As he stares down blankly at the faces and hands rising eagerly to buy a slaved prince, he hears a voice-

"Twelve hundred and thirty gold pieces!"

For the first time in months, Arthur dares to raise his head. Because he knows that voice. Has heard it incessantly rabbiting on, talking his ear off several times a day before his capture.

But it can't be him. It can't be Merlin. Because the bid for him was only open to sorcerers. And Merlin can't be a sorcerer.

2. Let Me Die, Let Me Drown, Lay My Bones In the Ground [BBC Merlin]

(I'm cheating a little bit cuz this is actually written but) My first fic where I really unleash my angst weapons. I wanted to test my limits. And I did.

The storm that had passed through Albion didn't only bring devestation, it brought a party belonging to the king, queen and princess of a distant land on the edge of Albion's maps. As per propriety and courtesy, Camelot was required to hold a feast and provide accommodation for them. The feast started off smoothly, the royals of Camelot getting along quite well with the royals from Harden.

But a single questioned changed everything. Including the destiny of Arthur and Merlin.

"What are your stances on magic?" Uther asked.

3. Doesn't have a name yet, but the wip doc is named 'My Limits Tested Through Merlin' [BBC Merlin]

While writing LMDLMD (the above fic), I discovered that the angst I put in there was not actually my full limit. I could push further. I could write worse. So I started this multichap wip. And it's going splendidly. Honestly, this fic is such a good jar to add my inner demons to. And I decided to work in some foreshadowing, juxtaposition, symbolism and all that lovely fun literary devices stuff because I found that I actually enjoy that process. So this might just be my best mutlichap fic yet!

Summary: That the kingdom they traveled to was peaceful was a lie. That the king was a good and fair man was also a lie. That Merlin, Arthur, and the Knights of the Round Table would be safe was the biggest lie of all. 

As Merlin scrubs the floor beneath the king's feet, despite the pains and bruises on his body, he wonders if escape will also be a lie. 

4. Empire For Two [BBC Merlin]

Part two of a two-part series. I've finished writing the outline and currently it's standing at 50 chapters, but as it gets written it might increase. Since it's MASSIVE and too much for me to take on alone, my lovely fwens Joan (@tireddruid) and Tristi are helping me with it! Joan's alpha and beta-ing while Tristi's gonna be a co-writer. For once, I'm not gonna start posting after it's written, but post as we write each chapter.

A Golden Age AU where I fix the fucking show.

5. Tim gets de-ages to a toddler fic [DC]

I've finished the outline for this too and it's currently standing at 21 chapters and I've already written 2. @mispeltnostalgia is beta-ing it ^^ And it's angsty. And fluffy! Majority of it is fluffy! But the angst at the end and major character death tag kind of overshadows the 19 chapters of fluff 😅 I also do a character study of Jason here. It's very enlightening.

Inspired by the very first fanfic I ever read (by choice) and Tim gets de-aged to a toddler because of a mistake Jason made. Jason's bonds with the family is already fragile and this mistake might just drive a further wedge between him and them. So he keeps the mistake a secret.

But the fact Tim is a toddler isn't. The batfam try their hardest to look after Tim while trying to find a way to age him back. Tim's an adorable kid but... there are warning signs. Too many warning signs. It makes everyone question just how well they had known Tim and his personal life.

For some reason, the toddler seems attached to Jason. And surprisingly, Jason seems to go actually well when dealing with him.

But after an explosive fight between Jason and the rest of the family, when Alfred opens the doors to the bedrooms, he finds both the toddler and the crime lord gone.

6. I Quit (not the actual fic name, just a wip name) [DC]

It started with a crack-genre scene where Tim accidentally resigns being Robin over the phone.

It quickly escalated to Tim running from the Bats, trying to cure Jason of his Pit Madness, and raising a 10-year-old assassin Damian when Talia mistakenly dumped the kid on him. Fully outlined, 19 chapters, I'm probably gonna start writing this soon.

7. Found Him [DC]

Not a multichap fic but a series with oneshots and twoshots and threeshots! Why? Because I was lazy and didn't bother with filling chapters. Why? Cuz I wanted to get to the action bits. Why?

Because this, my friends, is an evil!Tim Drake AU >:)

Tim wakes up in Titans Tower before Bruce and Dick can show up. He wakes up and all he sees is blood.

His blood.

He is in excruciating pain, but for some cruel reason, he can still think and feel clearly. His mind is not a haze, he has all his memories and he is very well aware of the carnage that has been made out of his body. Very well aware of the person who created the carnage out of his body.

In a Red Robin #4-esque style, Tim crawls out and sloppily secures the wounds that bleed the most, then grabs a bike and collapses in the middle of the road. The emergency services think he's a normal civilian boy since Tim had torn his Robin uniform and had ridden out in the blacks underneath. They manage to save his life but the damage was done.

Tim had snapped. He thought he was alone. And nothing was going to convince him otherwise.

8. All 'Board Mind Games [DC]

Inspired by Zugzwang written by sardonic-sprite. Ra's keeps kidnapping Tim and forcing him to play different board games from different cultures (cuz I like representation) and each member of the batfam is kidnapped along with him and with every time Tim loses, he gets to choose between forms of torture or being Ra's heir. Ra's gets what he wants either way because he wants Tim as his heir, but he also wants to see Tim suffer because he blew up his League's operations.

This fic I am so so so incredibly excited for because I am adding brain factors in it. Here is a plan for one of my chapters:

Damian — Barjees — Fear gas — "Be the person you needed when you were younger" (or Ideasthesia)

9. Talons (not the actual title) [DC]

What if Bruce didn't arrive in time to adopt his sons? What if the Talons did?

And what if, years later, Batman comes across four child assassins in Gotham whose eyes are screaming help?

10. Danny meets Tim (not the actual title, obvi) [DC x Danny Phantom]

Not very outlined, but the idea has been written down. During Tim's Red Robin arc where he's traversing the whole globe to find Bruce, one of the places he stops at is Amity Park. He heard about how ghosts are a regular here so maybe he can find something? Proof whether or not Bruce is alive?

Who he finds instead changes the whole trajectory of Tim's life.

And those are some of my wips! I am 100% planning on writing and posting all of them. They've all been outlined (except the last one) and are very much ready to be written or posted. I keep getting ideas after ideas for fics though so don't know when I'll be writing them 😂 Rest assured, I'm too excited to delay some of these wips.

I always have new thoughts about these two hnggggh. I have a bunch of 💀⚡ mini comic ideas (I can show you in dms if you're interested jsgshshd), but I really struggle with storyboarding... Also I hate sketching and doing lineart, then add my perfectionist tendency, those ideas basically are doomed to be buried in my basement forever LOL. Pssst I do have one applepom 💀⚡ comic wip, it's a single page with 3 panels, lineart's already been done by my friend DDT (usual art collab partner) months ago. The lines is sooo detailed and already looks fucking gorgeous by itself, so I have to compensate with complex coloring LOL. This thing's super high effort hsgdjsgs. I'll be honest I'm kinda procrastinating on it since my brain's been allocating all of its art juices on a bunch of fandom events lately (and now I'm also adding a bunch of trades HAHA), but I hope this comic would be done by winter at the very least orz

On the Water

 The dock is wet beneath them, but Kate knows they'll live. The boys love getting messy, after all, and she's in something that will come clean easily – and the world won't end if it doesn't.

 No, she's just glad the rain has finally let up long enough for the sun to try to peek through the clouds and for her energetic children to make it outside. They love the cabin and spending time with their grandfather, but if they'd had to stay inside for too much longer, there might have been a mutiny. Or someone might have lost their mind – probably her.

 "This is nice, huh?" she asks, leaning to the right and nudging Jake with her shoulder. She waits for his nod before moving to her left and bumping Reece as well. "Better than being inside for a while?"

 Both her sons nod enthusiastically. "Uh huh!"

 Jake looks over his shoulder before ducking his head. "I didn't' wanna play dress up with Lily again today."

 "Meeee either," Reece agrees, nodding resolutely.

 Kate chuckles, reaching over to tweak their cheeks. "She was just trying to include you. But it's okay that it's not your favorite thing. I'm proud of you for giving it a try, though."

 They nod.

 "Thanks, Momma," Reece says, looking back at the water. "I like it out here."

 Kate smiles, turning back to study the lake. The reflection of the clouds on the water, the ripples of the wind. It's a little less pretty in color thanks to the rain churning up the bottom, but it's still peaceful. "I do, too."

I think it's a very interesting different pacing. Also the way I promise it's the last time was meant to end the record with a spoken outro by DARYL PALUMBO where the character kills himself? we need the revenge out takes someday.

before getting into ur initial question, i would really really really (pretty please?) love revenge demos for its 20th birthday. and bury me studio or live release... im living in fantasy world considering what reprise did for bullets20 🤦‍♀️

anyhow, this is an interesting thing to think about. i dont really care for the 1000 evil men story. im also really bad at imagining alternatives to finished products. but i love the thematic narrative of three cheers. talked about the significance of helena as opener here. to the end as opener is actually really fun in setting up a gothic setting for the album -- the first line setting place ("he calls the mansion-") rather than time ("long ago-"). the 1-2-3 punch of helena -> fashion -> not okay is very good. esp if not okay was at some point more macabre. but you miss on the circulatory of never told you with both demo lovers and helena! "im trying" into "i tried" -- and "we'll meet again when both our car collide" into "can i meet you alone".

but actually ive been thinking about the motif of photographs in not okay, never told you, and to the end. "photographs your boyfriend took", "the photograph that i gave you" and "she keeps a picture of the body she lends" -- so there's a narrative link here... that i dont know the significance of lol.... something about fame and body image and trust. big theme in three cheers. kind of like "we'll meet again", though it isnt very macabre, gothic, or begrieved.

tbh maybe reprise shouldve stepped in to throw out morris in hang em high too. he distracts meeee... idk if spoken word fits into an album so quick and killer. wouldve had to be really good. cant find a source of the spoken work being a suicide, but i know that gerard only came up with the "suicide ending" after the album was released
