Hi!! Thanks for reaching out about this, and I'm so happy you like my work. I'll answer this publicly if you don't mind, because a few other people have asked as well!

I don't currently have an online store set up, but I can make and have made individual prints for people on demand before! Anything 8.5x11 inches or smaller. I usually print these myself on card stock; there are other customizable options since I only do these one at a time, like adding holographic film to the print or making stickers. Right now I can't really do clothing or tapestries, but anything you can run through a printer is theoretically possible?

If you'd like a print of a specific piece (like the one I did of Hayley recently), I'm pretty sure I can figure it out for you! Just DM me for more details and I'll see what we can work out :)

Art is not my job so I'm still figuring out a work flow... if this all sounds too complicated don't worry about it! I'm grateful you would even ask!

Was thinking... The first time Cal brought Merrin to meet everyone, and the first time Ezra brought Sabine, how did things go down?

Cause I'm kinda imagining Ezra being intimidated by Merrin (I mean, he's never really had a good interaction with her kind to my knowledge) and Cal being super chill about her, and the other way around, with Cal being intimidated by Sabine and Ezra just like, "No, she's cool" 🤣

MERRIN HOWEVER probably has Ahsoka a little hesitant given the whole "ancient enemy" thing but she gets over it very quick. Luke is too busy pretending to know what a Nightsister is (he's soooo knowledgable in the force) to be scared. Ezra actively assumes Merrin is going to steal his blood, which is not helped by the fact Merrin can smell fear and enjoys pranking people (see: her jfo greez interactions and all her interactions w bode). he is shitting himself

Okay firstly that's ridiculously sweet, I'm gonna need about 3 to forty business days to process the first part of the ask.

I think Dick has the biggest, most incurable case of Eldest Daughter Syndrome. The origins of his superhero identity were meant to do good things to honour the wishes of his parents, his second name honours Clark as a member of his found family. I hate Ric Grayson, but even a new identity and being shot in the head couldn't prevent this guy from being heroic. He's the number one late-night emergency contact for his siblings, the teams he's on, some of the people in his building, et cetera. Dick's got this ridiculous sense of responsibility and obligation in everything he does and holds himself to insane standards. He's not perfect and does snap at people, but that's usually out of character or when he's finally hit a limit, but he's always the leader, always the protector, and definitely doesn't let anyone else navigate for him using Google maps.

I started vnc way back when there was only one volume, stopped, and only restarted it last week 🙈 since then, I have reread it twice and will again, once I'm done with exams, as it has turned me insane. And since no one I know reads it, I just wanted to ask what your thoughts are on my theory that the reason not 'didn't reach out to vanitas' thus leading to his death is because of Ruthven compulsion on him? Cuzco after the 'ill never set you free'thing, I just can't see noel not reaching out tonight purpose. Your blog is a joy to read through, and I love your meta!

My thoughts on Vanitas's eventual death are. complicated. If we keep going down the path we're on now, I honestly suspect Vanitas's death is going to be more assisted suicide than murder. IE, Vanitas asks for Noé to kill him because it's preferable to the alternative.

Per Ruthven's compulsion, I definitely think it's going to come up, and I do like the idea of Ruthven trying to force Noé to hurt or kill Vanitas, but I don't think it's going to be how Vanitas dies. In a way, I think that would feel somewhat cheap.

Noé killing Vanitas because of his oath to Ruthven would make sense on a plot level. It's a nice, logical explanation for why Noé would kill someone he so clearly adores. I can see why it's a lot of people's theory! However, that explanation wouldn't really deliver on an emotional level. It's just not interesting for Noé's characterization.

For one thing, making Noé kill Vanitas when he's not in control of himself would strip away all of Noé's agency. With VnC's opening chapter, Mochijun sets us up so that the entire time we're reading, we're asking ourselves "but why will Noé kill him?" It's a big source of intrigue and suspense. And to me, finally resolving that suspense with "It's not his fault! He was artificially forced to!" feels like a major letdown. It adds nothing to Noé's character. It's answering that all-important "why" with "There is no reason why. He didn't actually want to." I think that would be a cop-out.

Through that denial of agency, I think this ending would also risk losing out on a lot of potential character development for Noé. The core of Noé and Louis's tragedy is that Noé desperately wanted to save Louis, but the only kind of salvation Louis wanted from him was death, and Noé couldn't give him that.

Now Noé has another person close to him that is also seeking salvation through death. If Noé kills Vanitas, but he's not in control of himself when he does, that misses out on a big opportunity. Has Noé come to understand salvation through death? Has his worldview changed since Louis made that request of him? Does he have it in him to kill a loved one if that's what they ask? If Vanitas's death is forced by Ruthven, then we're much less likely to get answers to those questions.

Personally, my favorite hope/theory for how Ruthven's order will play out is the idea that Ruthven will order Noé to hurt/stop/kill Vanitas, but Vanitas will manage to snap Noé out of it in the same way Noé broke Vanitas's self-hypnosis in the amusement park. There's nothing I love more than a gay little parallel.

I can see a scenario where Ruthven's oath is what pushes Vanitas close to death? Maybe Noé will be ordered to try to kill Vanitas, and that will set off whatever horrible chain of events pushes Vanitas to ask for death that final time. But even if Ruthven does order Noé to hurt Vanitas (which is a big if), I don't think it will be what causes the killing blow.

Please explain your Nailmaster Oro and Lost Kin headcanon, I would like to hear it very very much.

so, assuming the vessels all have the same base experience when they escape the abyss and head into hallownest, Lost Kin in theory starts off with the same base abilities that you have at the start of a playthrough. no nail arts, charms, etc.

i bring up nail arts specifically, because one of the attacks that LK does in the boss fights: the dash attack

which. to me, personally, looks like the dash slash !! which is the nail art that you can only learn from Nailmaster Oro (in-universe, maybe you could also learn it from Sly, or one of the other Nailmasters despite it not being their speciality? but this is just going off what i think would be most likely rather than all the possibilities ever)

it has the same moment of charging up, and then the overall appearance of the attack just looks like the dash slash. it has further range, but LK is bigger than Ghost, so that could be one explanation for that

also, relatively to the rest of hallownest, the two of them aren't actually that far from one another ! and the path isnt too complicated. Oro is definitely the easiest nailmaster to get to from LK's room, so i dont think it'd be a stretch to say that they could've made the distance while not infected

the final 'evidence' point (and the weakest) is that LK does the same bow the nailmasters do, when they are beaten in the dream realm

i say that this point is a bit weak, because other characters also do a bow, like grimm and the mantis lords, so it may be more widely known in Hallownest's society to bow after a fight/duel/whatever. however, LK's room's closest (least complicated to get to might be more accurate?) character that canonically bows in respect after a fight is... oro ! so i choose to believe this is where they got it from

AND NOW... THE SPECULATION

this part comes second to the previous stuff i provided and is more just things i think about now that im committed to the hc

Oro is very reluctant to take Ghost on as a pupil, and remains very distant emotionally, especially when compared to his brother Mato. this could, technically, be explained by the feud between him and Mato leading to his isolation, and some other stuff going on in his past. which i do believe contributes to it !

but another thing that may also contribute to specifically having an aversion to accepting students and getting close to them... well... what if he previously had a student that left, or he got separated with for whatever reason ? and that student never came back ? the only company anywhere near his isolated hut, and theyre gone and he doesn't know where they went or what happened to them

final and strongest propaganda point: reluctant mentor figure that eventually has to admit that he does enjoy the company of his mentee, and mischievous mentee that incessantly bothers the mentor trope dynamic. that is all

👻- Charlotte Headcanon

This one might be kind of basic, but Charlotte is obviously remembered by the Thorntons as totally saintific, the best of all of them, and generally too good for this world. I think this is a combination of just remembering the good after someone is gone and Charlotte intentionally putting her best self forward every. minute. of every. day. She was a good person, of course, a great person. But still a person, someone who was flawed in her own way and thrown into a very high-stress position at a young age. Toward the end of her life especially, I imagine she struggled with paranoia as well as feeling alone and generally shallow, despite everyone else thinking the opposite of her.
