Choices fandom appreciation shoutouts

This event is so so so lovely and I really want to join in hehe. I'm not great at expressing my thoughts/feelings and stuff but I really wanna try because I'm really thankful for all of u guys!! :)

When I first posted on this account last summer I honestly expected I'd probably post a few things and dip again because I usually don't get much attention on social media platforms. And also wasn't sure if anyone would really vibe with my approach to characters and stories hahaha 🙈.

But instead people were so nice and I felt so welcomed and like 'oh wow people seem to actually enjoy what I do??' And I had so much fun reading the tags left on reblogs of my art and stuff. And alongside that it has been soooo fun to see everyone elses posts and characters and leaving my thoughts on those as well (and slowly getting less shy about it too 💪). And I even started reading fanfic for the first time in my life hahaha.

I feel like I'm rambling but I just really want to say all this haha, it's been so fun being on here! I love drawing everyone's characters and other requests and will keep doing that (like pleeaase dont be shy, I love drawing everyone's characters) because it's fun and it's also kinda how I say 'thank you' for all being so nice to me!! So yeah thank you all for making me feel so welcome the past months! :)

Especially as someone who usually has trouble making friends and putting myself out there due to shyness it means a lot!

Under the cut I'll also put some messages directed at separate people, I'm fighting the lil voice in my head that's shy about this but you guys all deserve to hear it hehe, even if I'm kinda ass at expressing myself like this

But even if not mentioned/tagged I appreciate everyone who supports me/my work so much and I love seeing you guys in my notes!!

@lovealexhunt In the short time I've been here I've noticed you do so much for people and this fandom! I've loved all the fics you wrote that I read so far and love how you write Mal and Daenarya together (and the vampire au OOOO). She's so fun and I loved drawing her interacting with Ripley and will definitely do it again sometime!! And I'm also still so obsessed with the geometric Ripley art and I thought it was so sweet of you to draw that for me aaaa

@lilyoffandoms I always love seeing your art on my tumblr feed and your designs for your mc's!! And I'm still sooo in love with the Ripley drawing you did and that really made my day back then because it was a total surprise too!! In general all the art you've done of my characters has just been awesome and made my day every time!!

@choicesmc I love what you do with all your mc's, when you make picrews for them, the artworks I've seen you do for them and all the info you share about them, you're so so creative!! I love all your writing a lotttt, especially the shorter ones you've been posting lately!! I rly enjoy talking to you in dm's a lot, if it ever seems like I don't it's just me being shy haha 😭. @sapphoschoices Thank you for so often sharing my posts!! And in general always supporting people and sharing their work! I love all the edits I've seen you do and hope you'll keep sharing more hehe. I also read a fic by you for the first time last week and really enjoyed it! Made me wanna replay Desire & Decorum..

@rosesnink Thank you for letting me borrow your mc's a few times when I wanted to draw interactions! I had so so much fun writing back and forth about Rex and Brienne after I posted the art of them together hehe, I always love to see other people with orc mc's in general. I also really like the gif edits you make and your fics I've read so far!

@aria-ashryver You were one of the first people in the fandom who started sharing and commenting on my art and thanks to that I ended up not just posting a few things and dipping forever like I expected hahah. I always really enjoy reading through the tags you leave on the art I post!! I finally caught up to SICSIG a while ago and it was sooo fun seeing what you did with Immortal Desires and all the extra lore and stuff and I can so clearly tell so much love went into it. And your sprite edits are also always so amazing aaaa.

@fuzzydreamin thanks for the lol. ive been a little busy with life so sorry for the late response.

Favorite Color:

Green. Like Blindingly Neon almost yellow bile/acid toxic hazmat pukey green. Also black. I'm also a fan of earthy tones, warm greys and browns, rusty orangey reds, and i also unironically love that "some smoker lived here for 5+ years but i swear the walls are white" sepia color.

Last song:

Either Childish Flamingo or 1x1. I've been hopping in between really screamy and just goofy shit atm because i cant focus with anything else. 🤷 But (I also jsut got a new BMTH hoodie) BMTH's post human album has been feeding me. It's a really good (visual? no.) example of that like just angry and over it nihilist feeling and I just *MUNCH CRUNCH AAAA* like i feel like it could be just the tiniest bit angrier and louder but i think that's my headphones.

as for childish flamingo, its like that miseryxcpr thing imo. It's goofy and funny and it slaps. and it's so catchy. it's like right on the edge of aha funny and fuck you street and i love it. i hope any of that makes sense im sorry lol.

Last movie:

the Demon Slayer movie. I skipped all the way to the end to see the fight between Akaza and Rengoku because they're two of my favs ( in order from that show: Uzui (my mom calls yuzu (my cat) Uzui and its adorable) Akaza and Rengoku. I Found out the english dub is out (im way behind) and just needed to hear their english voice acting. all of it is amazing and Akaza's lil gigles during the fight make me incredibly happy. Guys who laugh/giggle mid combat? Ugh >\\x//<

Currently Watching:

Demon Slayer, Chainsaw man, Tokyo ghoul (im rewatching a bunch of animes) Steven universe. (i love all of these and full recommend them. I literally just yesterday(or the day before idk time is a blur) got a new funko pop, it's the half-kakuja kaneki and i love it.)

Other stuff i've watched this year:

Spy x Family, the Junji ito Collection, Yamishibai (if you like picture style art and horror this is great, its somewhat junji ito like, but shorter stories and ngl the zanbai ep scared me a bit) psychpass (some reccomended this to me cause im (obviously) a fan of darker more gruesome shows, and it is very dystopian, love the art work, but i just dont get it.) Given (if you havent watched this show please watch it its amazing) Yuri on ice, Banana Fish (also another fave)

(I work from home, and pretty much exist at my computer, and need to keep on music or tv to keep the bad thoughts out, so i have a lot of time and opportunity to watch stuff ok)

Shows I dropped this week:

Psycho pass. again, i just couldnt get into it. I know a lot of people seem to really like and it full seems like a show that would be up my alley. that first ep was kind of a lot though. I'm not ashamed to admit i love shows that are unafraid to show nudity and violence but the two together (ifykyk) make me uncomfortable. If this case had been a little further in the show i think it would have been fine, but it's litterally the first like ten minutes of the show. I also tried watching this a few week ago while at wasteland but we were pretty much just out the door.

Devil May Cry. I still love the games and the characters, and i remember loving the anime as a kid but its just... so different from the games lmao.

Currently Reading:

random internet stuff, fics and shit. I feel bad because i used to go to the library all the time but at the same time, i dont really have the room to store a whole bunch of books and despite being super dyslexic, i read insanely fast, so renting/buying books isnt worth it to me. (i've read entire full length series in the span of a day or two, while doing other stuff. I need longer, more conveniently packaged novels and that typically comes in the form of fanfiction. )

people who genuinely and unironically consider friends the tv show as a cinematic masterpiece because nOAH FENCE how do they manage to get entertained by laugh tracks and the same skit over and over again

ok maybe your slander towards it increased because hoseok (the guy you have a sorta crush on) likes it and he leaves you on read and sometimes doesn’t even open your message and thEN you’d see his instagram stories and they’re all just???? friends???? what was the reason

and second, jimin!

jimin’s your best friend and that just makes you awed even more because you don’t even know how the two of you got close

the bit of reaching your toes then doing a downward dog and the upward-facing dog right after to hear that satisfying grunt of your joints is a LITTLE awkward because jungkook’s looking at you

you can smell him on it and you make sure to pat your face extra dry because you wouldn’t want to get your face sweaty now would you :D his perfume’s just a bonus, right :D

shouldn’t trainers be the cold and straight to the point ones and immediately leave right after you’re all done????

you’re okay with big bikes and regular motorcycles!!! in fact you find them less threatening than jimin’s motorcycle

the class had finished testing early, so the teacher decided to put on a movie.

(basically it’s just an incredibly depressing dog movie. like, if you’ve never seen it then just imagine the saddest movie you’ve ever seen 10x)

anyways, you ended up crying. very loudly.

sugawara was incredibly concerned for you, since you seemed to be genuinely distraught, but he didn’t say anything

eventually, the teacher caught on to your disarray and excused you from the room so you could go calm yourself down.

after some time, the teacher tells suga to go check up on you to make sure ur not dead or whatever lol (you were taking a while).

he was hesitant to do this since he knew you weren’t too fond of him, but suga decides to do it anyways since he didn’t want to be a disobedient student.

he finds you sitting on a bench with tears streaming down your face

all at once, suga gets this overwhelming urge to make you feel better. but like, as in, he-never-wants-to-see-you-in-this-kind-of-state again-otherwise-he-might-breakdown kind of urse.

despite not being super close to you, he had gotten so used to your large smiles and extroverted demeanor, that watching you cry felt foreign to him.

he missed your smile.

he soon realizes that seeing you upset hurts him because he genuinely cares about your well-being.

so he decides to make it his personal mission to make you smile again.

suga takes the spot next to you voicelesslyand tries his best to talk you through your dismay.

I would love to tell you about my OCs I’m like Charlie It’salwayssunny over here I’ve got boxes full of OC stuff I’m just dying to talk about. I’ll put everything under a read more so anyone that’s not interested can just skip past here cause I’m about to get RAMBLY okay let me tell you about my beloveds

Okay so by far my favorite creative project right now is my novel that I’ve been planning on & off since January of 2019, the working title is Villainous, it’s like the most refined and likely to actually go somewhere of all my story ideas and I swear this thing holds my entire soul

The actual story is a play on the classic Career Woman RomCom setup except her name is ~Magnate~ and her big city career that never gives her time for love is ~Supervillain~

unfortunately I don’t have any art of her or any of the other characters yet because good super designs are difficult to nail down, but I’m working on it!

Anyway Magnate is amazing and a bit of an ass and I like her so much <3 She’s a big time supervillain that uses the high tech gadgets she creates for your standard robberies heists kidnapping the mayor the usual. Her parents were shitty white collar criminals that on top of being totally uninvolved in their daughter’s life embezzled from their numerous charity organizations, leading her to be suspicious of anyone that calls themselves a hero + giving her a whopping case of trust issues and a loose grasp on ethics, cuz hey, morality may be a ruse but the power and prestige sure aren’t. She's worked hard and climbed the ladder and made a name for herself as a kickass supervillain, and she plays cool and dramatic but underneath all the bravado she’s just an endearingly awkward nerd who wants a friend, which is where the next character comes in~

So for plot reasons Magnate joins up with another even more infamous supervillain to get a spot as his right hand woman in his plan for world domination, and she’s fine and everything’s business as usual until she’s told that she has to work with another person he’s recruited for her part of the plan to do biochemistry stuff synthesizing the compounds they need while she engineers the tech components, and so enters best boy Dr. Bodhi Bright who crashes into her carefully curated life and ruins everything in the nicest way :)

listen, I LOVE this guy he’s weird he’s a weirdo, just a chill funky lil dude with the most incomprehensible moral compass on Earth. Because of their job he and Magnate have to spend a lot of time together forcing Magnate to actually socialize for once beyond hurling quips at her nemesis, and right of the bat Bodhi completely throws her off her game vis a vis her supervillain image with just his whole deal. He’s this sweet polite guy who’ll talk about a death ray in the same casual tone as the minutiae of city parking, he’s new to the villainy thing and he just thinks Magnate is cool. Bodhi thinks he’s just good at reading people but he actually has minor latent empathic abilities which let him pick up on Magnate’s bravado and so he’s just...not intimidated by her at all. He completely circumvents the whole ‘big evil supervillain’ thing and just talks to her like they’re normal coworkers. And it’s not like they can just find somebody else to replace him so Magnate’s forced to respond and build an actual relationship and rapport with someone for the first time in ever. So they get closer and become actual friends, Bodhi starts calling her ‘Meg’ because Magnate kind of sounds like Margaret, and she lets him. Meg shows him the ropes of villainy, and just sort of learns to be a person again through working & developing this friendship with him, remembering what it’s like to be genuinely happy and excited about her everyday life and care about more than just her job, to open herself up to care about other people at all, and this is a romantic comedy so of course as the story progresses they fall in love and just—GAH I love their relationship so much they're so good for each other I could talk about them forever and I’m literally writing a book about it so like yeah they’re great. my darlings <3.

Here I’ve got some memes to give a better impression of their dynamic

I've only really got one other important character left to talk about aside from Meg & Bodhi's boss (he's literally the worst & the major antagonist for the book that's all that needs going into for now otherwise this thing is just going to reach unwieldingly more rambly and specific heights) and she's the secondary antagonist, superhero extraordinaire and Meg's nemesis AmaZing (get it? like amazing? except it sounds like amazon? cuz she's a lady superhero—) in a shocking turn of events this woman is the best person out of any of the people here and also the most well adjusted, she is also a very interesting character to me and I could probably pull a whole other book out of her character if I wanted to. AmaZing’s real name is Zoe Amison, before she was a hero she was a professional ballerina with a kickboxing hobby that she used to keep in shape, her first night out I think she was just straight up dressed in her costume for Firebird or something. She has superhuman strength and agility, her powers manifest with these bursts of golden sparks and arcs of electricity which she can direct as a close range weapon, basically she’s very good at the big punchy aesthetics. She’s known as one of the best superheroes in terms of like who they are as people, she tries to help rehabilitate the supervillains she fights, including Magnate, even though most of them have none of it, any money she gets from her hero work she donates back to the community so she can contribute more than just punching muggers, and she does a lot of activism and charity events on the side. She makes most of the money she needs to eat and whatnot in the cornerstore she inherited that her family’s owned for generations, and she lives in the apartment above the store with her girlfriend because YES she’s a lesbian YES her girlfriend is trans YES they are disgustingly in love and YES they own a cat named Petal together. (Her girlfriend’s name is Callie (short for Calliope) she’s a nurse and patches Zoe up when she gets hurt on the job)

And there is so much more I could say about this thing but that’s about all I can muster right now in terms of like a basic overview of these characters. Thank you so much for this ask dude this was so fun to do!!

Member: Jongho Genre: Fluff Requested: Yes @barsformars Word Count: a lot??? Content: Hang out with Jongho. Note: Kind of just wanted to write something a lil random as per the prompts and this came into mind. aaaa mild creative blocks are sucky. y/n and jongho are friends (but are feelings there? hmmmm big think)

The cycle of sleep, train, sing, dance, eat, shower, repeat gradually wore him out that it was Seonghwa’s suggestion to have you bring him out and about for the day. “Just stroll around the city or a park... Jongho needs a change of scenery and possibly a different face and voice.” He joked lightly to you over the phone.

So now, here you are doing your best to persuade him to walk with you around the city. “C’mon! Accompany me to my errands.” You plead, hands clasp together, as your bottom lip juts out for added effect. It’s a white lie. You actually had a different plan in your head and you just needed him to give in.

“Don’t give me that look.” Jongho says softly as he leaned against the wall. When his members pull the same look, it did nothing. With you, it’s a little tricky to keep a straight face. He wants to break into a smile, amused and endeared by your antics to get him to do your wishes. For now, he wants to see just how much you wanted him to go out with you.

With his words, you huff, cheeks puffed out in mild annoyance at his unwillingness to break. Other ideas breeze through your mind, wondering which one will make him cave. You catch his eyes widen a little and it’s already obvius that he knows what’s running in your mind. “Jongho~ Please come with me~” Your voice taking on a sickly sweet tone, smiling so brightly at the male. His resolve shakes a little but not enough for him to move. You sigh and for once Jongho’s a little alarmed. Was he too hard on you?

“I’ll buy you coffee.”

“Iced americano?” Now you’re talking his language.

“Yes.”

“Deal.” So he hops off his bed and as he gets his valuables, you look at Mingi in exasperation. This guy really had the guts. Once he’s ready, the two of you are now out, dragging his ass around the city.

The first stop being his usual coffee. He was lucky you also liked coffee, though not as strong as his. For someone who likes branded fashion, he was a sucker for free food. More so if it was your money. “How do you even handle Iced Americano?! That’s just water, ice and espresso shots.” You complain to him as you watch the staff make your orders.

“I could say the same for you. How do you like yours so sweet?” There’s a teasing tone in his words and it makes you shoot him a look.

“Excuse me! Just because it has vanilla sweet cream doesn’t mean it’s that sweet!” You whine. Your defense makes him laugh lightheartedly. He’s thankful though. Besides him, you were the only one who likes their coffee strong and not as sweet as the frappucinos his hyungs usually get. Once your orders have been served, as tradition holds, the two of you exchange drinks to take a sip. Both of you make a face at each other’s order.

“Anyways, where to next?” He asks, pulling the door open for you. Oh right, you said you had errands that you wanted him to accompany you. So you think fast again as you gnaw on your coffee lid before taking a sip. Eyes dart around, looking for a passable excuse.

You gesture to the shop across the street. You forgot that they had a jacket you’ve been eyeing lately but never got yourself to check out. That is, until today. He hums, acknowledging the store and lets you lead the way. You go through the items on the racks, looking for that one jacket. Once successful, you raise it near your frame. “Hey Jongho, what do you think?” You ask, as you eye yourself on the mirror. A thoughtful pout on your features as you bounce between buying it or not.

“You’re cute, but you’re not that cute” He say softly, once he takes a good look at how the jacket looks against you. It was a good jacket, he had to admit that. Maybe not something he’d see in his closet but it was definitely a piece he could see in yours.

You look at him through the mirror, unsure if you heard what you heard. “What?”

He doesn’t seem to hear your question though. With his free hand, he looks through the other colors on display. “Try this one.” He hands you another version, taking the one from your hand as he lets you look at yourself with his choice. Your eyes never leave his content features, as you try to find a way to ask him again. But you’ll have to ask him that later, for now you need to see what he sees when it comes to your fashion taste.

In his mind, he finds this jacket a lot cuter on you now.

It’s times like this that remind you why you often go to him for fashion advice. This color actually looks better on you as compared to the initial one. “Jongho, your mind. I like it.” You praise him as you fold the jacket over your arm as you make your way to the cashier.

“I can pay for it.” He offers as he follows you. His free hand already reaching for his wallet.

You give him a look that dares him to go against you. It seemed to work as he instead pouts at you before taking another sip of his coffee. After paying for your new jacket, you flash him a toothy grin, resulting into him chuckling at your delight. He’d like to think he’s part of the reason for that happiness. “So where to next?”

Right. You were never good with lies anyways so you decide just come clean with it. “I kind of just wanted to get you out of your dorm and studio for a day.” You start, guilt clear in your voice. “I know you like what you’re doing, you just looked so burned out the past few days...” you trail off, eyes anywhere but on the male next to you. “Even your members were already concerned for you.” You’re not sure of how to end your statement, much less where to take it so instead of saying anything else, you just taking a long sip of your coffee.

Your words do make him think for a moment. He thinks back to the past few days, weeks even; the burden of catching up with everything he had to put on pause, the full speed of their promotion preparations, everything. He could see why you and his members were starting to worry. Could he get mad at that? Not really. He’s actually grateful that all of you look after him even if he wants to be viewed as dependable. His hand reaches up to ruffle your hair, not something you like but you understand it as his way to express affection.

“Well, persuading me with coffee was a good move. Still, where do you want to go next?” The male asks and your eyes snap to his direction. To be honest, you were expecting him to be disappointed at the very least but he seems alright with it.

“You’re not mad? or even disappointed?”

“I can understand why you guys did what you had to do so no, I’m not.”

A few seconds of silence pass over the two of you. “Can we go to the stream nearby? It’s pretty at night.” He notes the color of the sky: vivid purples and deep hues of red. It won’t be too long until he sees what you meant by how pretty it would be at night, so he lets you lead the way again.

On your way to the stream, you raise the question of what he had said earlier. “What did you say to me earlier while looking at the other jacket?” You press, wanting to know if what you heard was right.

Jongho seems adamant in giving into your insistent question. “What? I didn’t say anything.” He says with ease, though the tip of his tongue darting out to wet his bottom lip says otherwise.

“Yes you did! You said something earlier while I was trying on the jacket.”

“What do you think I said then?” He asks, finding entertainment in your insistence. You pout at his question, unsure of how to word it.

“Something about being cute.” You give in, you’re starting to doubt if your ears were right.

He pokes your puffed cheek. “Mhm, the jacket you chose earlier didn’t look that cute on you but the one you have in the bag will look cuter on you.” It was your turn to be speechless, a few steps behind the male who didn’t seem to find any big deal in his words.

You weren’t wrong when you said it would be pretty at night. It’s beyond pretty for his standards, it’s something he thinks that’s only possible with editing. Yet, even with that kind of editing, it can’t fully encompass the beauty. Lights lit up underneath the small waterfall, making the water look as if it were shining brightly against the night sky. The water that passed under a small bridge was lit in various colorful lightings: it looks as if it was straight out of a Korean drama, especially with the various greenery on both sides. Though couples were sprinkled everywhere on both sides, none of you seem to mind it. Instead, the two of you caught up on life, all while eating street food being sold nearby. The two of you take photos of each other against the lightings and scenery, giggling to each other when someone takes a blurry, candid photo of the other.

“At least I have a new photo to use for my social media.”

“Please don’t forget to pay for my services.” He jokes. “It’s around 500,000 won.”

“Hey!” He laughs at your complaint, raising his arms in defense before you land a flurry of whacks on him. You notice the way his body seems lighter, away from all the stressors and you couldn’t help but smile a little to yourself.

“On a serious note, I had fun today, even if it wasn’t much, I liked it.” He says, watching a couple take a selfie, their features lit by the multicolored lightings.

You, on the other hand, look at the water that passes by near your feet. “Always welcome, Haribo. I’m always just a message away if you need to get away from stress.”

The nickname makes him laugh again, his shoulders raising in the process. “Still Haribo in your eyes huh?” Jongho has told you recently that people have been calling him jelly bear lately but it seems to you that it’s always going to be Haribo. A quick glance at the time results in a soft sigh. Good things do have to come to an end sometimes. “We should head back soon.”

You look at your phone. “Ah, you have a full schedule tomorrow.” You mumble, a small part of you wishes that you could prolong this moment but it rarely works in your favor. You knew what his job entailed and while you understand, you couldn’t help but think that it sucks sometimes. His hand appears in your line of sight and you look up at him, smiling down at you. With a playful roll of your eyes, you take his hand, pretending to tug him into the stream. You pull yourself up with his help after seeing the flash of surprise in his eyes.

“Got you there. Also since each shot you took is 500,000... each shot I took of you is 750,000.

“Why are you so expensive?”

“Someone has to match your standards and taste, right?”

Okay, I have been a bad reader and not giving you enough feedback as I should a now I feel bad. So now buckle up bc I’m going to write this long ass text for you. 💗Let’s start with “take my whole life too”, I fucking loved it so much like you don’t have an idea, I really loved how the arranged marriage trope was used but with a twist, since it’s always the guy being a dick to the sweet oc but this time jk was the sweet one (can I even call him that when he wanted his dick wet 24/7) (1/?)

and I just don’t know, really loved how you made so natural the development of oc feelings for him, they are one of my favorite couple tbh. Now let’s go with “2prettybestfrens”, this fic was just wow, it feel like a friend was just narrating how they met the love of their life. Really liked how they had this whole dynamic of the love square (is there such a thing) and jk just appeared and started simping for oc, something that I also really liked (2/?)

was how we kinda got closure with all the characters. The next one “exclusives only”, this one didn’t appeared in the tags but I discovered when I entered your profile and I’m so glad I did bc I really liked it, it was soooo good. Like how her relationship with koo was just so different to how she presented herself to the rest of her friends which I think it was the cause of a lot miscommunication and well resulted in koo fucking up and kinda running oc reputation :(( (3/?)

but I’m glad that even if he fucked up he was still there for her and show her how real he was about his feelings. And now to the big boy “show me yours & I’ll show you mine”, a fic where seokjin it’s the main character and there is kinda a big age gap? Sign me up!!! I really love this series and how oc dynamic with Jin is bc they are just acting as if the most normal thing to do sexual thing with each other in the same roof as Tae, (4/?)

like that is having some balls lol but the cliffhanger of this last chapter damn I just want to know how their friendship it’s going to be affected by this :((( I’m so excited for a new chapter Okay, this is the end of my long ass rant, sorry for not giving you feedback before, all your fics are amazing, even your drabbles are. aaaa mar please don’t feel bad!! or don’t ever feel like you “should” give feedback (though i’m immensely happy to receive it <3). it’s hard to explain ( i can’t speak for other writers, only myself) but i write for me first and having you and my other readers say you enjoy my writing just as much is a wonderful surprise but it’s completely understandable if you don’t because reading, writing and giving feedback is supposed to be something we do out of our free will. and doing something because you feel bad means it’s not out of free will ): i’m sorry if my posts/words made you feel guilty. i’m probably not making sense but there’s this thing therapist tiktok taught me: you’re not responsible for what others feel and if you feel bad / like you need to fix/make someone feel better, then that means you do feel responsible.

i’ve had a few instances where i do things because i felt like i’m responsible for what others feel too so i’m sorry if i’m reading too much into this. but yeah, moving forward, i hope you and my all my readers, as well as myself, are able to do things freely and not have to do it because of guilt. and this goes for not just giving feedback but other things in life as well.

MORE UPDATES ON THINGS WHAT HAPPEN

The half week milestone of the hospital house thingie time! I think the term they use for it is "a residential stay"? Cos like its not a hospital its a shared housing block thats just full of doctors. I get to sleep in a real bed and there's a nice community room and board game nights and stuff. But its still really scary how intense the supervision can be! Like they have a window to look into your room once per hour every hour constantly. And they have to go through your undies and catalog them as part of the possessions check. I was not warned about that and it was mega embarassing trying to explain a binder to a bunch of old lady doctors! Oh and i had yo do a urine test today which was possibly the most fuckin embarassing thing in the actual universe. And you're not even allowed to take your own pills! They keep them locked in a big ominous wall of lockers and you have to come into the office and swallow the pill while theyre watching. I guess maybe because some people might be faking their illness and selling their pills on the black market or whatever? But that literally doesnt happen with antidepressants, they have no 'high' or even any effect at all on non-sick people. So it just makes no sense to me and its real embarassing cos like i said i suck at taking pills with plain water and without a straw. The ones i take are real damn chunky things the size of my thumbnail! I think i'l get better at not (literally) choking under pressure over time, tho. Hopefully.

Anyway that's all the bad out of the way! Now the good and the neutral and the just miscellaneous!

Its still nervewracking having to shower in a shared house but they have a cool walk-in shower and ive never tried one of those so it was vaguely interesting. And im allowed to take my showers early at 6am to minimize the chance of anyone else trying to use the door, lol. My biggest fear is having some staff member walk in on me when im naked like back in that homeless hostel. Oh or that time in the homeless hostel where the teenage boys filled the entire bathroom with inflated condoms wall to wall. Like wow so much damn effort to prank the stupid nervous bunni who probably would have been embarassed by literally anything else. Man this place is bringing so many memories of that homeless hostel but at least this time its a place specifically for sick people and they know i'm anxious doing shared cooking and board games and whatever so they dont make fun of me for it. But in a lot of ways that hostel had more freedoms too.. *shrug*

Anyway! A good! I get to have cooking lesson!! I know literally nothing about cooking and now i get to know several thing!! This nice doctor called Josie taught me how to make an omelette and i tasted ham for the first time! That is just how limited my life experiences are, lol. Oh and they want me to say that she's a 'mental health worker' not a doctor, but its all real confusing?? Like they have the staff that look after you and then the only ones we're supposed to call doctors are the ones who actually have the authority to prescribe pills and diagnosies. But like if youre in a hospital you'd call them all doctors, not just the actual surgeon? Or i guess theyre kinda like nursing home staff?? But they cant be support workers cos support workers are specific government assigned inspector type guys like Richard who only meet with you once a week.and i have to remember to not call him a social worker either cos social workers only work with family and custody related stuff. I dunno?? Basically the medical industry has a lot of names that dont really describe what the actual thing is, lol. Anyway the ham omelette was great and now im gonna try and remember so i can try and make it myself next time! HAM ACCOMPLISHED

Also i played bingo with a few other patients and it was fun but funny that i lost 6 times in a row when there were only 3 of us. I got a consolation prize of a pack of neon highlighter pens so hell yeah!!

I'm getting booked in to try some additional classes starting next week on monday and tuesday morning. The computer programming one was sadly unavailable, but i managed tp snag a place in "confidence building group therapy" and "basic how to use power tools". I wasnt really all that interested in that one but i thought it would be a useful skill even if its less fun. And maybe you get to actyally make something to take home at the end? A lil shelf to help organize this awkward lil room better, maybe?

And an unexpected bonus of being semi-hospitalized is that i get a free bus pass! And cos im here cos of my social anxiety theyre gonna help me get outside more and actually use this thing to the fullest! The first thing we did was the trip to actually get the bus pass itself. It was like "bus, take my money to take me to the place where i can never give you money again!" XD Ive been really stupidly nervous about going on tne bus in my old neighbourhood cos MAN it was really isolated there and everything just amplified my mental illness. An almost two hour bus ride to get to ANY SHOPS AT ALL, with only one bus for the whole town so it was always crowded and full of screaming kids and gossipy everyones. Social anxiety: maximum level proud mode!

So yeah i feel BIG ACCONPLISHED! I was able to take this bus for the first time with a doctor coming with me. Power Grandpa The Strong. His actual name is Paul and he has awesome sleeve tattoos of like anchors and dragons and sports teams and stuff! And he likes thrift stores and wearing silly hats too! Its like he's powerful enough to wrestle away everyone's anxieties! I was able to be a bit reckless too and i went out wearing my fave shirt thats like trans pride coloured plaid. A POWERFUL SHIRT IS REQUIRED FOR THIS QUEST! so we went to the office to register this bus pass and i panicked a bit cos apparantky we brought the wrong form and i wrote my name in the wrong box and then my passport photo looked terrible and aaa! But it all worked out and i was kinda freaking out for nothing. And he took me for a lil tour of the place and showed me this cool shop that does spray paint tye dye t shirts with spiderman on them?? Why does this incredibly specific shop exist and how have i never heard of it before?? There was also a new harry potter shop next to the disney shop, and the old used book store i used to visit as a kid was still there, complete with rickety spiral staircase and ominous basement trap door. I'm still not brave enough to go down there, but apparantly its just the history books section so meh. Then we actually went to a fancy coffee shop and i had this brain freeze mango ice frappucchino thing! Im trying all the new foods!!

And i was TOO HIGH ON DECADENCE and made a RECKLESS CHOICE! i blame power gramp's amazing tattoos, they were totally whispering to me that i shoukd screw the rules and ride off into the sunset on a metaphorical harley davidsen of mental health

So i was like Hey Paul I Am Totally Fine Getting Home On My Own, and it was like i was floating off in the distance somewhere begging my body to not speaketh these words. But it ended up working out okay! The excitement of it all and the sense of accomplishmebt from getting there all okay allowed me to mostly not freak out as i spent the day in town and looked at some shops and stuff. Basic Living Skills: Completed! I chilled out in the library (tho i dont have a card yet, alas!) and visited like five comic and anime stores, and got lost but found a Pizza Hut and that was SO NOSTALGIC FOR MY CHILDHOOD and it didnt taste quite as good as i remembered but the waiter guy was super nice and had a similar shirt and it was All Good! Oh and i gave all my money to a homeless person and that's why i'm broke now. And i bought a plastic slug! I just saw it from across the room and was like OH NO I AM BEING MAGNETISED TOWARDS IT OH NO IT HAS ALREADY BEEN BOUGHT. I need to think of a name for this new friend!!

So yeh i got home okay and i felt really acconplished and that was the furthest trip away that i've taken in ages! Man my mental illness makes me feel pathetic, but it also brings ridiculously big joys from the smallest of silly acconplishys!

Oh and thank you so much to the people who sent me emails! It really helped so much to keep me from giving up during the first few days before i made a bit of progress and felt like i could really do this, yknow? Especially big thanks tp the friend who sent me that mysterious super happy song that they found on a mystery disc in a german market?? Im still not sure whether its in greek or hasidic jewish but it sounds AMAZING and i hope someday i can figure out the band so i can hear their other singles!

I would actually point more towards Kaminari being the most probable one to react on screen, since he’s always got something to say in scenes like this one - and in general towards Kami, Baku and Sero being the ones to... confront? Kirishima specifically about this mission, not because I don’t want Mina to be there too! But generally as far as past arcs go Mina seems to be more part of the girls group than anything, and since Tsuyu and Uraraka were there too she might be between the ones reacting to Tsu and Ura more specifically (like she was the one to fawn over the two of them after their first day of internship) while Sero, Baku and Kami were the ones to react on screen to Unbreakable AND the ones Kiri spoke to about his insecurities to begin with... then again, given the flashback I do hope Mina will be proud of him on screen......... aaaahhhhhhhh I guess we won’t know until Horikoshi will finally show us, will we? ;u;

Can I ask you to not, like, dismiss the fact that I have, in fact, been drawing haikyuu? If you’re talking about my art, then yeah, sorta! Thank you for liking it! Tho I have to admit I’ve kind of always drawn it like that, I don’t understand in a practical way how with his parting that far on the side his fringe doesn’t fall in front of his eye and that sort of subconsciously ends up showing in the way I draw him haha

If you’re talking about emojis and not kaomojis then I’m with you on that lmao mostly cause I feel like Bakugou would be a really lazy texter but would at the same time be the type to dislike writing without capitals or proper punctuation and so on, so to avoid having to put actual effort into texting he just answers (when he answers) using one single emoji and thats it. It’s up to his interlocutor to understand what he meant with it. Up until now the only people who get it 100% of the times are Kirishima, Sero and surprisingly Todoroki.

Then again, I do think you meant kaomojis lmao
