this past while, i've been working on getting a new commission batch open as i've nearly reached the end of the queue for the big orders as well, but i'm afraid i won't be able to work on much until the Oct. date– i'd very much rather avoid opening new slots only to make folks who already paid for their orders wait for a whole month on any and all updates. that said, even if i can't get new slots open now, i certainly shall have them up once i'm back on November 19th, and ready to go!! :"3c there shall be announcements prior to my going away too (option updates!! and a new option for the bigger orders too!! :'D), so i'm mentioning now but i'll talk about it at length soon!! for now tho, i hope you like these here doodles c: and i shall continue working on doodle orders until Oct. 14th!! adding onto anon's ask, what social media/platform is the best place to post your comics? Do you find Tumblr to be the best?

hmmm I'm not the most social media savvy person tbh so I dunno where has the most exposure, if that's what you're going for 😅

For me I would try to post where the format goes the best with your layout so it's the most convenient for readers. For instance if you look at a lot of shencomix stuff, he's got a lot of square paneling that works well for Instagram. I abandoned insta cuz I don't do square comics most of the time and it will cut off my pages.

I personally like to scroll and read, so I post my page-by-page comics one after the other so you don't have to click on it to zoom in and read. Even though sometimes that looks a lil weird too, since they're best left to right.

Scrolling-style comics are best on smth like webtoons which his built for that. There's no "seam" and it doesn't show a lower quality preview like tumblr does if your file is huge.

I chose tumblr cuz it's kind of my compromise between wanting to do a lot of different layouts. Also I grew up on this site in my fandom/rp days haha

It still makes me sad when I try to do 3 panels in a row and they end up looking tiny 😔

About your last shared post and the tag, what if being horny isn’t in someone’s biology? Im starting to think i might be asexual and your tag kinda triggered me xd its not your fault tho, you are always so nice and i guess im always searching for strangers opinions about it xd (just hoping not feeling like a freak for not liking sex or feel horny xd)

Well, I am not that well versed with biology so don't take me by word but I do think that being horny is a very natural thing to feel and necessary for us in order to reproduce and why sex or anything that serves for our survival is pleasurable. That doesn't mean it's bad or something is wrong with you if you don't, every person has a different sex drive c:

Some people have a higher sex drive while some others have a low one. So you're not a freak at all! Everything is perfectly fine for you.

You mention asexuality in the context of sex drive and I think it's important to add that afaik, asexuality describes a lack of sexual attraction, not your sex drive. That means you don't find people or their bodies arousing. There are asexuals who have a low sex drive and can be sex repulsed while there are other asexuals with a higher sex drive and be open to sex or want to have it!

Asexuality also comes in a spectrum! Demisexual, graysexual, others that I probably dont know about JWVDJJSV inform yourself about them and dont be scared of using a label for you that feels right. You can always choose another label later when you feel like that one fits better (I like the simile of labels being like magnets on your fridge ;))

My tag was directed towards people who feel shame about their arousal and a reminder that there is nothing to be ashamed about. Of course, the same applies to a lack of arousal. You should never feel ashamed of your feelings, especially because it's not something in your control. You just feel or don't feel, whatever it is, its okay ♥️

H - "Höre ich da eine gewisse Eifersucht in deinem Ton?", neckte Victor ihn. Genoss den Anblick, wie eine ganz sachte Röte Justus' Wangen hinauf kroch. Jetzt war er in der Defensive. "Ich habe dir damals angeboten, an meiner Seite zu arbeiten, aber du wolltest davon ja nichts hören." (Justus/Victor(ish) aus Victors Sicht, weil ich das unbedingt mal ausprobieren wollte)

O - Orkanartig wirbelte der Rausch durch seinen Körper, sein Grollen ging irgendwo gegen Henrys Nacken verloren. Nur einen winzigen Augenblick später sackte Henry in sich zusammen, suchte Halt an der Werkbank. (genau genommen ist das geschummelt, weils kein WIP mehr ist. Aber pscht. Das ist aus der versprochenen Henry/Bill fic - Titel: "Sturmwind" - die ich vermutlich nachher noch hochlade)

S - Seine Gedanken jagten sich im Kreis, ohne irgendeinen Erfolg, außer, dass er Kopfschmerzen bekam und unleidlich wurde. (eine Cotta/Goodween Pining Sache, die noch in den allerfrühesten Anfängen ist)

T - "Tja", machte er, weil ihm nichts besseres einfiel. Und dann: "Das letzte, was ich über Sie gehört habe, ist, dass Sie von den Toten auferstanden sind." (Cotta/Victor, ursprünglich inspriert von ASPs "Demon Love", inzwischen mit deutlichen Einflüssen von Bessons "Venice Beach")

So far my second-favourite Paul Verhoeven movie out of the three I've seen. I've really liked all of them so far but sometimes I just think he doesn't address the impact of things that happened in the film enough yknow. idk they're all good I just love thinking about potential all the time lol
