It all started when you came. A new cute girl that got Lee know,the popular basket ball player attention. From then on he kept pestering you. When you were painting,when you were spending free time doing something. He sees you? He pesters you. For attention. It was never mean. Just annoying because you liked to be alone when painting. But he broke that. Not that you hated it neither did you like it. It was annoying and thats it.

And now here you were painting for the important art competition coming up. One single stroke wrong,you can end up ruining the whole painting. So you were extra careful with it. Extra. But here he was annoying the heck out of you. You ignored it. At least tried.

''You have a good talent for painting. I wonder how your talent is for finding someone.'' He says with that stupid smirk on his face. You wanted to punch it off. But you certainly know better to not to. Yet you ignore the remark. ''What happened to the feisty kitten Y/n huh?'' He says. That smirk still decorating his face.

''Can you shut up-''

Before you can finish the sentence,the painting is ruined. By a single wrong stroke. There your anxiety once again kicks in.

''Fuck Fuck Fuck Fuck''. You swear at your self. Breathing getting irregular. ''Fuck? Who? Me. Pftt you wish.'' He says cockily. Not realising your situation. By the time he looked towards you,your leg was bouncing,your heart was pounding in your chest. Sweat forming on your forehead. 'Is my painting ruined? What can I do now? Fuck I shouldnt have paid attention to him.' Are the only thoughts running in your mind. Making you so immersed that you didnt notice Lee know stopped his teasing. ''Hey hey its okay. Take deep breaths. In and out.'' He says taking your hand in his and rubbing his Thumb on it. ''It can be fixed. Dont worry about it.'' He says reassuring. It cant be fixed. He knew. But he wanted to make you comforted.

He would do anything. For you. Anything. Your anxiety got to the peak as your chest was raising up and down in fear. Fear that you will lose Your passion. So you followed his instructions. Took deep breaths to calm down. It..worked. It worked. But now,what do you do to fix the painting? ''Good girl. Are you calm now?'' He says gently as if hes talking to a child. ''Yeah.. Thank you.'' You blurt out. You were grateful for this.

You hated him. He liked you. What a weird relationship right?

But now,your figuring out that you did like him after all. One day he got sick so he couldnt be here. You misses his teasing. His smirks. His remarks. Him. You missed his presence.

All those days when you would sigh in relief as you see him enter the first period. Relief that he was indeed healthy.

''Its okay. It can be fixed. It can. Try painting it into something creative. Not from a reference but from your mind. I know you can do it.'' He says still rubbing your hand. Calming you down.

'I know you can do it.' Something you wanted to listen. Everyday. He is the first one to say it.

''Thanks for..believing in me. Thanks Lee know.'' You say looking into his eyes.

Maybe this is the beginning of something after all.

i was never super into black butler but grell always confused me bcuz what she was like in the manga and what fandom said about her was so different (and also fandom was like? violent??? about her and i couldnt understand it) but now that youve been rereading it and ive just had grell casually on my dash but talked about w respect im like relieved. thank fuck people consider her as a character and not a caricature or a boogeyman

You're incredibly welcome anon and if it helps for the most part the fandom has gotten much better with how they treat and perceive her and sure you're still gonna get people who treat her as a cisman or as if she's just horny 24/7 when really she's just naturally quite flirtatious [and very much bisexual if you examine how she is with Madam Red] but those people are much fewer and far between than how it used to be...on tumblr at least

Her AO3 tag is...look just don't go on AO3 for this series in general unless you're reading works by an author you actually know because chances are most of it's gonna be Like That™️ and the less we talk about anime twitter the better which is always a fucking mess regardless

But anyway my re-read was very fun, I enjoyed reliving the things I didn't remember as well and getting to gush about a series with somewhat heavier themes than what I usually post about, and while I have finished said re-read now [I probably could've included more of Lau's moments especially during his and Bard's duo adventure but I was trying to avoid posting too many spoilers for later arcs] I am itching to possibly write my own Grell-centric and UnderGrell fics because they're my honeys ~~~~

The important thing to remember about Grell though is that while she is quite violent and flirtatious not to mention prone to rather comical angry outbursts [usually because she's impatient or someone has slighted her] she's also quite serious about her work, dislikes being given overtime, and also refuses to be scolded or put down by anyone she doesn't actually like and from what we've seen of the reapers thus far, the only one who really doesn't "get along" with her so to speak is William but he's a stick in the mud to everyone, every other reaper we've seen her interact with has been cordial to her if not outright incredibly friendly [Ronald and Othello] so we can assume she's actually pretty well liked among the dispatch and William is just an outlier

Sorry I know you didn't ask for my 3PM Grell Thoughts but I was waiting for an excuse to clarify those points about her character so thank you for being my sounding board hehe

Inside out 2: literally cried my eyes out. Loved the always pretty animation and how the movie explained phsycological concepts so damn good in an easy way to undestand it

Kaikyuu!! The dumpster battle(spoilers): I couldnt go to the cinema but I really couldnt wait so I watched it on tik tok and it had my heart on EDGE all the movie, I loved it and loved to see Kuroo's and Kenma' childhood. ALSO it was so cute of Kenma to finally enjoy playing!

hi! I've seen you getting super into the Re-Animator movies and one of my favourite things is listening to people talk about their favourite things for nine hours straight, so I wanted to ask: should I watch Re-Animator? why?

hello!! firstly, this was the nicest message to receive EVER. I was genuinely floored that you would want to hear me talk about it !! you are such a sweetheart, and i would love to chat more about your currently hyperfixations too <3

in terms of whether you should watch re-animator the short answer is yes, the long answer is the pro's outweigh the cons for me personally but be cautious

i fucking love an unethical scientist. nothing fills my heart more than seeing a man do whatever he has to do to push the boundaries of human understanding no matter the cost, so this movie down to the barest concept is already so perfectly up my alley. herbert west's aesthetic also fits exactly with characters i've hyperfixated on in the past sporting the white button up, skinny black tie, brunette hair and glasses (see newt geizler, edward nygma, arguably gary the gadget guy but i can't get into that right now). and we haven't even touched on the homoerotic subtext

my favourite relationship dynamic is narrative foils, especially a guarded and emotionally-closed off character being warmed by the presence and affection of another. herbert and dan definitely fall into this category. also they grab and touch each other. all the time. its clear they would do almost anything for each other, especially in the first film but also in the second despite their constant bickering.

the cast is also incredible. if you have the patience after you've finished the first two movies, the actors commentary on youtube is seriously one of the funniest things i've ever heard. you can tell these actors are good friends and loved working with each other, and had a great time working on the movie together (this is also apparent in the bts pics which are also phenomenal). its interesting to hear them talk about what they were trying to portray with their characters and anecdotes about the process of filming. definitely one of the draws to these movies for me was jeffery combs, i follow him on twitter now and he's a little unhinged but in the best way, i love his feed so much.

whether or not this movie is objectively good (if thats something you need in a movie) im not sure i could say either way. i liked the plot, but the real draw for me is the characters and their dynamics. also, its really funny???? its kinda goofy, but it feels really natural and almost accidental??? in my heart it is oscar worthy, but whether or not it is a Good Movie i couldnt say. i love it tho

also another thing i should mention, re-animator does have a pretty brutal SA scene. its the definition of using s*xual violence for horror and shock value, and is definitely the most disturbing part of the movie. listening to the commentary, i was relieved to hear the actress in the scene, barbara crampton, talk about how professionally the filming of that scene was handled and how much agency she had discussing with the director. but yeah, its pretty brutal. i skip it now when i rewatch the movie

TLDR; you should watch re-animator. lil meow meow science man has unparalleled hubris, green goop glowing ominously, and a homoerotically charged partnership with his assistant, but its not the pinnacle of feminist cinema.

How’s the second part of the Oliver coming along? Don’t push yourself into writing more than you can handle alright? Short and sweet is great too. Extending it to 7 parts sounds like a great idea. favorite time of year: i always say spring is my favorite season because i don't like when its hot and its nice when it stops being cold and i like flowers but if "christmas" is a time of year that's my favorite. i like everything about christmas especially the lights :) and i like snow even though it doesnt snow where i live now and i'm so sad

comfort food: hm i like a lot of food.. when i'm sad i like to drink a coffee or dandelion root tea (coffee substitute) and put milk and sugar in it (i dont usually put milk in it when i'm not sad). and i like birthday cake flavor. oh and pizza my favorite order is pineapple + chicken + ham with barbeque sauce

favorite fic: bro i dont know im not really a fanfiction reader all i can think of is this sonic fanfiction i never finished where like scourge was in it and zonic the zone cop too and like the kid versions of sonic and tails came to the future and had to stay in grown up sonic and tails's house and i think scourge ate a toaster waffle. from what i remember it was like really well written and i might follow the author on tumblr to this day i cant remember

this one i made for jin’s bday! his houndstooth beluti jacket was the ABSOLUTE BANE OF MY EXISTENCE my LORD. unlike most of the things i draw i only had like...3 nonpotato reference photos of jin in it so i tracked down the jacket and figure out what the stupid pattern was. his eyes also made me want to punch my laptop and chuck it out the window bc i couldnt get his hamster face to read “jin” after like 320849032 iterations and erasing one pixel here and adding another pixel of a slightly different color there. i finished the entire thing within minutes of needing to post it in time for his bday even though i started more than a month earlier aojgiroeajgiior

by jove this most recent one of bangtan dancing from their chilsung ads. i started this back in september/november thinking it would take like 2 weeks at most HA! i barely finished it in time to harken the new year 🤣🤣 animating it was especially challenging because i had to draw and animate the first half going forward, and then last half going backwards so it would loop right and THEN i replayed and rechecked all 60 some frames to make sure there weren't any glaring colour or continuity issues the fortnight before posting it bc things weren't lining up. for a first attempt, i think it looks good......if you dont like....look at it too closely

this one of their pj party bts run one also took me 2 months to finish afjgioraejgio i didnt think i was able to finish it tbh im glad it turned out well. it was my first attempt in animating complex motion and perspective and i think it turned out well. you can barely hear past me phantom screaming about it.

ahhhh i think tumblr ate it but i was just saying how i noticed deceit was released and i'll use as motivation when i finish some big tests this week (i will literally start reading it the second i hand in my last test on friday)

cb shows for me are usually either at like 4/5am (depending on daylight savings) or 8/9am which is when i need to be in school at so </3 there's enough clips going around for me to know the main parts tho so im not too worried abt missing them haha 😅 DURING THE SUMMER THO i make sure to watch it (since i only dont sleep at normal hours then anyways ahsjjf) i watched tbz's cb show for thrill ride and maverick ✨️ thought they were on naver live so the video was like vertical and i didnt like that 👎

well besides the tests i have this week im doing pretty well! i also recently joined my school's prom committee so we're planning for that and its very exciting since it'll be the first in person even we can host since the pandemic 😭! (i also need to find a prom dress and i dont want to break the bank yet in case there's a world tour or smth)

i also just saw the multiple cases of plagiarism and it genuinely upsets me so much how people cant respect other's intellectual property (it also freaking happens like every week in here or smth like what 😭😭) but that last one was rly fishy bc they found it so fast;;; it rly sometimes does feel like people just do it on purpose for fun with a new blog and make people feel like shit and just deactivate and thats so 👺👺 its just a low move like have people rly not. have anything better to do 😭

uhhhhhh so i guess we start with picking a character u really Vibe with tm? I KNOW THIS SOUNDS LIKE COMMON SENSE BUT LIKE ive been considering making a genshin ask blog for a while now but i never really got to it cos i couldnt really decide on a character (plus the fact that their outfits are. so intricate. is also a hmm since i try to follow details to a t) (at first i wanted to do zhongli, but i feel like to be able to muse him well u need to know the lore super super well, which i dont n im too lazy to research on that aha. n u know how much i respect characterizations, especially for such a complex character like him. i also considered xiangling for a period of time mostly for guoba but also like i have 2+1 blogs here n having one more might not be a very good idea aha) (as for aesop he was my Hyperfixation Character tm also cos i looked at his kit n went Yep i could work with this. probably)

so assuming ur not a dumbass like me n u kinda know who u wanna pick, id actually say to snoop around here for other ask blogs n kinda get a feel of the... scene? is that the word? or like u know, other blogs that u can potentially vibe with. ive run a couple of ask blogs before this current one (both that have died for different reasons) n from my experience interacting with other blogs (if theyre okay with it, i think most should be) is pretty fun. it also kinda helps get ur blog around to other ppl on other blogs so they can go Oh whats this cool shit n check u out, n its also a reason why we kinda reblog promo posts for other blogs (also cos we’re always excited when someone new comes on, its really the more the merrier. we see all :eyes:). interacting with other blogs is also an option when ur inbox is looking real roomy too

another reason why i havent exactly done a genshin blog is that idk i cant actually seem to find genshin ask blogs around (i have seen rp blogs, or those that answer asks with mostly text instead of art, but thats. not my thing since i hate my own writing aha) (i did find one aether blog some time ago, but for some reason i hardly see them around anymore??? idk man i might be wrong). its not like im trying super hard to find them ask blogs, so im sure they exist out there (hopefully?? im not sure but im being optimistic). i mean theres nothing wrong with just starting an ask blog without others around, but for me i do find a difference when i interact with other ask blogs n when i dont, n i prefer when theres others to have fun with (unfortunately i couldnt find any ask blogs to interact with in my previous fandom. i tried, but the blogs i approached seemed to go inactive shortly afterwards...) plus u get to meet friends that way too :D (i made a lot of friends via idv askblogs n its really been a joy vibing with others)

as for the idv scene. gestures around me. unfortunately there are a lot of ask blogs that arent that active anymore, but theres still some of us who are alive n kicking empty inboxes, n im sure everyone would love to see a new face around. winks at u. also there seems to be a lot more blogs popping up lately, which is really heartening to see.

then u kinda just. make ur blog? n a starting introduction post so ppl can reblog it n spread the word XD n yay u have a blog i guess??? XD

i gotta say tho. dont expect ur blog to take off immediately (especially for smaller fandoms like idv, tvbh i didnt think my blog would even get half this far when i started cos of how non existent idv tumblr seemed to be) n ur inbox will probably be looking pretty empty a lot of the time (or at least filled with some that u havent quite thought of how to reply to yet aha) (but also like empty inboxes happen pretty often, im sure most of us here have experienced this problem)

in the case of the first ask blog i ever started, it never really took off at all. ngl it was kind of demoralizing n depressing but to be fair i had picked one of the more obscure characters in the series, so obscure that many ppl in the fandom would have never heard of this character before. if u wanted to know, i took a character that only appeared in the 2nd musical of the series, who also made a very brief cameo in the manga to acknowledge his existence within that universe. thats how obscure my character was, but i went with him purely because he was my favourite character. i will say though i did enjoy it while it lasted n i learnt a lot from the experience, n i think thats whats important really.

i guess this kinda leads on (not really but let me digress) to the whole uhhhh thing where if u choose a more popular character, u get more attention. which is fine i guess? if u really vibe with the character, i mean theyre popular for a reason. n choosing a more popular fandom (like genshin) would objectively also get u more viewers n numbers. but like honestly i believe that ask blogs are meant for u to have fun with, n like trying to get popular gets tiring pretty fast (this shouldnt be like a main goal, but u know sometimes u subconsciously also want that gucci follower count n bomb ass notes or something. i used to be guilty of this until i realized it isnt worth it) especially if ur not enjoying yourself in the process. (case in point: my previous fandom was considerably larger n my blog got about 700 followers within a year or so, but it got very tiring n stressful to maintain after my interest in it died, n no one was really interacting with the blog even though i tried which kinda made it even more depressing despite the so called success n popularity of the blog)

anyway on a less serious note, theres a lot of fun stuff u can do with the ask blog, like some ask blogs have really fancy tags that i really like n try to do but also like not really HAHAHAHA. i kinda just channel what i want to see in an ask blog into my own ask blogs (good art is one, i try very hard for it to be good :,DD another is characterization, n others is just extra miscellaneous arts n stuffs like au ideas or memes. these are also somethings u could work on during ask box downtimes perhaps)

uhhh another side thing is like a posting schedule i guess? like ppl would be more likely to interact (i think) if ur blog is relatively active, n this is usually determined by the last post u made (i think XD). but like generally for blog maintenence id say try to kinda find a frequency that ur comfortable with?? cos i know my once a day posting is kinda insane if i wasnt so hyperfixated on all of this n fight the urge to dump all ur replies when u finish them XD (though ive seen some blogs do that n they do it pretty frequently so its pretty nice to know once u see their post u can spend some time going through the latest batch of posts XD) the queue function is pretty useful here even though i truthfully have never really used it, i kinda just post from my drafts really but it also helps to space out ur content to seem somewhat active especially when u dont have the time to be working on replies sometimes. i hope u know what im trying to say here aha

ANYWAY that was like my 1.5 cents cos i dont even think its worth 2 cents HAHAHAHAH these are just my thoughts from running all my blogs up till now, some that are still running n the others that have just died a natural death. i wouldnt actually delete them (theyre still around actually XD) cos theyre kinda like archives n i can look back at what i did last time. cos ngl i made some high quality stuff back then, n i dont even know how i managed to do that aldhflhdsgk. also ppl do look at archive blogs every now n then for the content thats there yknow

BUT YES anyway if u do decide to join the idv ask blogs hmu, ill be sure to give u a lil shoutout here. winks
