How are Deret and Cala if handed a baby to hold?

hiya...... i love them both very much sorry for any design inaccuracies i was drawing them from memory....... on that note, do you maybe have any design refs for ur characters? i wanted to draw them fullbudy but the comic is so dynamic and intricate that they always have some shading going on and some parts of their clothes are covered up, so i'm struggling with figuring out the base colors and all the outfit details. thanks again for the awesome comic :-D off to read the new upload!! 💐♥️🦭

Oh my god!! I didn't check tumblr for a couple of days and then come back and find this! I love sketches and pencil/ink drawings so much and they're so super cute how you drew them here!! Thank you so very much, I wish I could hang every drawing people send me on my wall. And look, no worries about design inaccuracies. I leave stuff off all the time, too, and they look perfect to me here. Design sheets!! i've been meaning to upload their full body refs and keep forgetting sfjkafj. These are sadly out of date as they were done before Chapter 0 was even finished, but I hope they suffice for now!

height side by side and a very very out of date literal-first-doodle of the back of the coat. Here's Audric's, which hasn't really changed at all since this initial design. He's just one of those rare characters that didn't have to go through a refinement phase. His reaper partner's design sheet is mostly done but I'd prefer to release hers when she actually comes into the comic properly.

Lyra and Audun, tho these are only sketches, both are final designs. Audun will get a clearer ref like Lyra's simple one later, I was designing his outfit in this one since that rank of officer coat hadn't been seen yet And here's a much more up-to-date sketch of Maia that will serve as a new model for her when I get to color it. Elias has a new one started, too, but will have to wait to be shown (... it's that messy lmao)

And Maia's cloak/coat assets (plus her vault key) that I use for production fitted together, these are up to date! Basically, the color base for their uniform is a dark warm-grey in most scenes (but since the actual uniform coat/cloak is black, this is just done for visibility and often I tint it to reflect whatever light is in the scene or to contrast it. So "it's black, but I usually choose a warm grey base to keep it visible." ... Silver and bronze accents are shown separated here. I put up a patreon pack a while back that has my actual assets and brushes I made for their uniform emblems, but for now, it's visible here)

How’s Fields of Mistria? You mentioning it was the second time I heard of it, the first time being in passing, so I’m not too knowledgeable about the game.

Fields of Mistria is SUPER fun, since there's not much to do in it after you've completed the first year right now, I've dedicated myself to breeding and collecting all the seasonal variants of horses so I can name them after the four Horsemen of the Apocalypse!

I also named all my barns after metamorphised lovers in greek myth because I have exactly one thought running through my head at any given point in time (Currently there's Crocus Coop where I keep my (gorgeous wonderful lovely adorable ouugh I LOVE THEMMM!!) blue chickens

Cypress Barn where I keep my wonderful cows (who have been with me the longest and whom I cherish immensely! I'm not sure if Autumn cows are possible but I'm definitely aiming for a barn of all red and autumnal cows for obvious reasons)

Minthe Barn where I keep all of my other large animals like sheep, alpacas and my very first beloved Chiron (black and white) and Iris (brown with spots) (the foal is Rigel) 🥺

And Hyacinthus Barn where I have a collection of small animals like rabbits, capybaras and my PRIZED DUCKS LEDA (the pretty blue and green duckie) AND CYCNUS (the pure white duck meant to mimic a swan!!) Even though it's technically a coop, I mistakenly labelled it a barn when I was inputting the name and I never changed it LOL

My farm is also named after THE metamorphosized lover, Daphne herself, so it's called Laurel Farm

And I'm planning for my Seasonal Horse barn to be named after the poplar since I quite like Leuke's story and I think she's fitting of housing the horses that will be the steeds of War, Pestilence, Conquest and Famine :)

Bonus: My house is still small and eclectically decorated, but keeping in theme with my farm, I do hope to go for a flower/garden theme

!!!! Such a good question!!!

If you ask Sirius, every way was the best bc he's a bit of a sap like that. If you ask Remus, it was terribly done approximately every time, bc he's a bit of an anxious perfectionist like that.

First all, I see all of their pregnancies being a surprise because they were never actually trying! It just happened! It keeps happening! They don't know how! (Well, they know how, but, you know)

The first time Remus was in shock; the second he kind of blurted it out after receiving the news himself; the third he tried to do something cute but Sirius caught on before Remus could tell him; (the fourth was not a pregnancy, Remus just came back home with a baby werewolf one day); so if he has to choose, Remus would chose the (currently) last one!

They had a nice, lazy morning, then an afternoon out with the kids, who were then dropped off at their favorite uncles and aunts' houses for the night. They had a dinner date night at home, and Remus had a whole speech planned and even a cute little gift (a onesie with "baby n°5" on it)!! But in the end he just took Sirius' hand and put it on his stomach and waited for Sirius to realize (which was actually really quick!!).

And then they had a very good night that would have left Remus pregnant if he hadn't already been 😌❤️

AHHHHH OH MY GOD THE RESPONSE ON THE FIRST DAY WAS SO POSITIVE IT BLEW ME AWAY!!! this is like the first time anyone has interacted with stuff ive made so im not sure if its within tumblr ettiquet to respond to every repost ive gotten but just in case its not: THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH its what spurred me on to actually finish yesterdays drawing today and hopefully finish todays drawing aswell!! I think this one ended up a bit better than day 1's but its still evident that im primairly a portrait artist KDASDK love them dancing though<3 again: Thank you all so much!! means loads to me.

tea!!!! definitely tea! and she cant pick a specific favorite don't ask her lmao. she loves barley tea when she wants to drink something comforting. she loves to drink chamomile in the evening. she loves to make her own blends from the plants in her gardens. she loves a strong black tea with rose petals in it when she wants to wake up! she just loves! tea! this is in part because tea has been something that has been a big part of my life since i was born essentially and something i associate heavily with my persian family and since all of my ocs are persian in some way they get a tea obsession lol but ALSO i have figured out nasrin's backstory and after her family is killed in a monster attack, she is taken in and raised by a wandering druid (which plays into her knowledge of plants and interest in being a herbalist when she grows older) and i feel like being a tea drinker also really fits into that. druids just seem like tea drinkers to me :)

25. What's something your OC does to wind down after a long day?

oh fun to think about !!!! long days for nasrin either look like a long day at home where shes been tending to her garden all day or on rare occasions when shes making deliveries to customers in surrounding areas/towns and its been a long day of travel. when at home, i think she would wind down by sewing, mending or doing embroidery!! as i mentioned, she was raised by a wandering druid after she became an orphan and he (name still pending lol) was a very pratical frugal person due to the nature of his ideals and lifestyle. so there wasn't much in the way of varied clothing for nasrin when she was growing up and before they went their separate ways. so as an adult when she has money to spare, she buys beautiful fabrics and thread to make her own clothes and make them as beautiful as she can <3 she mends her old clothes and covers them in beautiful embroidery to make them last as long as possible and repurposes everything as much as she can but she loves spending time drawing sewing patterns and ideas for new clothes and planning out fabrics she wants to buy :)

when she travels, i think she winds down from the day by cuddling with her best boy Bane, her guard dog and best friend ! (after she takes care of myrtle her grumpy and sometimes stubborn older horse)

28. Your OC has the sniffles. How do they handle it?

like a champ. if she doesn't already have a tonic ready to go, she'll whip one up. she'll drink some herbal tea blends that boost her immunity and she'll try to do household chores that don't take as much energy !

ofc the cast recording ones—terrence mann is one of my favorite javerts (he’s on the obc) philip quast is iconic (in the 10th anniversary concert, he pulls a strand of his hair out it’s SO. OUGH.) and norm lewis (in the 25th anniversary concert) has such a powerful, rich voice.

okay but stewart clarke’s might be inching towards the fav. the way he delivers the opening line!!!!! makes me FERAL. THE DESPERATION??? THE VOICE CRACKS. AND THE WAY THE ORCHESTRA GOES ALL EERIE IN THE LAST VERSE?? GNAWING AT THE BARS OF MY ENCLOSURE.

So funny thing happened the other day, I was reading some of your Wip Wednesday snippets and then coincidentally I got a discord message about a completely separate topic that said, “His lack of sanity is… inspiring and infectious.” It made me giggle with how well that describes your Silvergifting dynamic.

he IS insane in inspiring and infectious ways and I just wrote several hundred words of donating blood so you can have some <3 and Annatar gave me the perfect opportunity today to actually make it shippy rather than pure mad science!!

When Tyelpe looks up again, Annatar gestures aggressively towards the cold thing and demands, “Why?”

Tyelpe shrugs. “I wanted to see if you could melt it!” 

Then he makes that bright-eyed face he does when he’s really been caught by a project, hungry enough to know that his principles loosen. It looks unfairly good on him, even when Annatar is the project in question.

…Possibly especially when Annatar is the project in question. Also especially when he follows it up with, “Did it hurt?” Unfortunately. The questions come rapidfire like they always do - “I’ve never seen you do that - was the hair thing an autonomic reaction? Are you actually injured, or was it just an unpleasant sensation?”
