Yes it is happening. I don't know what GO did to lodge itself into my brainstem but it's like an integral part of my life now. My husband read it years ago and liked it, so I read it based on his recommendation in 2020 and then I found out therE wAs A ShOW ADAPTATION??? So yeah, it's been taking up all my free time for like 3 years now.

So point number one is I love Good Omens so much. It's just like good wholesome content. Like friendship and love stop a war in a cute lighthearted way. It's fucking incredible. Fuck all other media for not being Good Omens.

Second, I love Aziraphale. I identify with him so hard, he is beautiful and perfect and I want to squish his dumb face and lock him in his bookshop with several cases of the finest wine and lots of tea and cocoa and Crowley. Only the best for our precious little bitch. I'm so excited to see more of him in S2. I feel like his character in the show was definitely built around his journey with separating from heaven, whereas in the book he was kind of already over that hump. He still kind of tried, performatively, to get through to heaven, but he was so much more on board with Crowley's ideas so much earlier, and so much more chill about whatever the fuck their relationship is. And he was also way more petty and not nearly as nice. And it was because he was more comfortable and confident. And I'm really really excited to see him more comfortable being himself. So I hope that happens more in s2.

Just wanted to say I saw and loved your tags on my fortnight mv post!!!! When I first watched the video I actually thought the scene on the street was a flashback where Post was playing Joe rather than Matty, but I think the idea that it's a fantasy makes more sense with them being literally inside her head and the story we get on the rest of the record with Guilty As Sin, Fresh Out the Slammer, etc. But I still think Post's character playing multiple roles/combining multiple muses is a really cool interpretation of the video!!

I just feel like there's so many parts of the album where they're almost interchangable and his lack of tattoos in that flashback made me wonder if it was trying to signal a different man. Also, the blue on the typewriter feels like SUCH a Joe signal, she knows we know what blue means and it comes back so often in this album!

But your post helped me understand so many other little details, like the tattoos on her face signifying her being "under the influence" of the drug from the beginning and the significance of the flaming papers.

My chosen name is Robby, but my full name for writing purposes is *drumroll* Robert Michael Auden.
