oh i think soft head kisses are a staple in the gallavich household! just thinking of how early on they settled into showing each other this type of soft and quiet affection, i think it would be hard not to think they don't go too long without a lil head smooch!

the little kisses are a constant. i mean, those two are constant smoochers regardless! but the head kisses are just a little way of showing each other how much they care and pay attention. they're in tune with one another. little magnets coming together for a brief second just to show that they see and understand and love.

You know something that I find really interesting is Steve's relationship with his anger. His anger at his body pre serum for not being strong enough to fight, to join the army. He must have had so many body image issues, especially when you take into account the expectations of the time. But for all that, when he has a big strong body he chooses not to use it aggressively even though he could.

Also I'm sure he feels a ton of anger when he finds out about Bucky post TWS. Anger towards himself for not going back to look for him, anger at hydra. But one thing I don't see mentioned a lot is that he would feel a lot of anger towards Peggy and Howard as well. Especially when he finds out about Operation Paperclip. Like the narrative tells us that Peggy continues to be a source of inspiration for Steve, but by CW he knows about all this so I wouldn't be surprised if there was a lot of anger there that he hasn't expressed because he doesn't think it's right to unload all that on an elderly woman with alzheimer's. And Howard was killed so Steve doesn't feel right taking out his anger at Tony either.

I can sort of see Steve holding it in, burying it until Bucky is home safe and then one day it all just comes pouring out and all Bucky can do is let Steve rage and cry and rip a few pillows until he's all cried out and then he pulls him into a hug and holds him tight and makes Steve count heartbeats with him so that he knows that Bucky is there....safe and alive after everything 💙

Oh yes, I am fascinated by this, too. I think Steve has definitely spent a significant part of his life being angry, and it's one of his main motivators, aside from wanting to do the right thing and to help people in need and to make a difference in the world. He's a good man, but he's also an angry man. But his anger is not born from aggression or a hunger for power or validation or any other inherently selfish desires, as is the case for a lot of angry people (mostly men), but more from something like frustration, because people can do better, and things should be better (of course, sadness and loss and grief and helplessness play a huge part, too).

There is of course lots of excellent meta out there about this, so I won't try and provide a whole analysis because I'm tired and I'm not going to be able to do it justice right now and others have done it better anyway. But it is definitely fascinating. I'm not knowledgeable enough about operation paperclip to comment on it in detail, but I know enough to say that I think you're most likely right about that too.

And oh GOD, yes, I could devour a thousand fics in which Steve finally gets to rage and seethe and let it all out and have a big old breakdown, knowing Bucky is there, and Bucky gets it, because he gets Steve like no one else does, and he'll alway, always catch Steve and soothe him and hold him while he cries and Steve finally doesn't have to do it alone anymore 😭 It's the most incredible, cathartic thing and I adore it so much. Any recs anyone has for fics like this, please do send them my way! 💙

Murphy twins headcanons!!! Zoe will sometimes read through Connor's diary, which he doesn't know...

The twins will pull pranks on each other a lot (their parents are already used to this)

One time, Connor put fake spiders in Zoe's bed while she was sleeping. That next morning wasn't very pleasant

Connor and Zoe will ALSO constantly steal from each other's closets; Lucky for them, they're very close in size

They love going to the mall together and being goofballs

On family road trips, the twins will always argue over who gets to control the music

Though they won't admit it to anyone or each other, everyone around them can tell they get along very well and love each other <3

Oh yeah... I don't remember if I've said this one before, but they also argue a lot over who was born first (they're both convinced it was themselves), but their parents have never told them because that'd just be fueling the fire more lol

Now for Evan and Zoe... They give each other music recommendations

Zoe will recommend music from Feeltwood Mac or TV Girl, and Evan will recommend Radiohead songs

Zoe treats Evan as if he was her own brother (where Zoe is the older sibling, obviously 🙄 (Evan is literally older))

Zoe will never grasp the concept of Evan and Connor being together. How can such a nice and polite guy like Evan be with such a mean old ogre like.. her BROTHER?? 😞

Since Evan is close with Alana, Zoe’s gayass will ask certain questions,, such as, “What’s Alana’s favorite candy?”

Jared and Evan hcs: Jared honestly considers himself to be part of Evan's family. They have a cousin type of relationship, and Jared honestly looks up to him (He’d never admit that)

They play video games at Jared’s house, and one of their favorite games to play is Cuphead (you know who is who. Evan's also VERY bad at that game, but he still enjoys playing)

There will be moments where they both geek out over something they both enjoy, like a new comic book series releasing or something

Evan will always be the first person Jared goes to for advice

From when they were younger, Jared had stolen multiple of Evan’s toys and to this day is YET to return them (they both forgot, obviously)

Sasuke isn't big on nicknames, and when I say this what I mean is that he's not really one to use them. That doesn't mean he isn't fond of the ones I use for him!! Which are babe, sweetheart, and love (unless Naruto should overhear and decide to mimic me, then he isn't so fond). As for me, Sasuke usually just prefers to call me by name. But when we're alone or out of earshot of other people, and he feels like flustering me? Then I'm his lil' tomato.... 😳🍅

skittles – what color(s) remind you of the other(s)?

I was hoping to get this one!! Sasuke is deep navy and dark blues for me. Kind of like the night sky? Because that's when I feel the safest and most at peace, and he gives me the same feeling. Also because blues symbolize trust and loyalty. And though I associate myself with yellow, I think white makes Sasuke think of me more. White is a fresh start. It's pure and true (like my love for him), it's in the onigiri I make for him, it's a blank page or canvas (and I'm an artist). It's also like I'm another light in his life? Very... if he's the night sky, I'm the stars sort of thing kdjbvhjvfbdjd 👉👈

twix – in what ways do you complement each other?

This is the hardest one to answer so far. >.< But I think that Chrollo and I are both quite reflective thinkers, who really crave to understand the things that interest us deeply? Even if those interests are entirely different, I think we have a lot of respect for how the other's mind works, and so conflict is minimal. I'm also a very good, attentive listener, and I think Chrollo appreciates that I remember details of the endless things he tells me. And I feel the need to mention that I am a Taurus and he is a Scorpio... and I think that speaks for itself.

snickers – what’s the dumbest/silliest thing that makes all of you laugh?

Hmm, in the au where I am also a nen user, and frequently commissioned by Chrollo to assist the troupe with heists... we like to people watch while we're playing our parts at whatever grand event he has his sights set on upending. We'll see who can get a better read on the other guests, or otherwise come up with ridiculous fake lives/backstories for everyone who passes by. In the au where I'm a civilian/have no idea who he really is, we do this in parks and cafes. 🤭

Buggy's hair is blue. Not light blue like the water that surrounds the reefs that line islands shores with all their colors and shapes. Not gray blue, like the waves that ripple in the wind of a foreboding storm. Not dark blue, like the ocean at night, more black than anything else, reflecting the pale light of the moon above it. No, Buggy's hair is blue, just blue. Like the middle of the ocean on a clear day, where everything seems far away and yet so near at the same time. It is currently turning dark, as blood seeps into the long strands sprawled on the floor. He's not crying anymore. He just lies on the damn floor and stares at the ceiling, his lips pale. It almost looks like he is already dead. But then his eyes start to drift shut and Shanks has to yell at him from where he is chained to the wall, to "Stay awake! Please, you can't fall asleep!" Until he opens them again and resumes his wordless staring. Shanks' wrists are sore, rubbed bloody from the way he strains against the shackles. By the time he gets out, they will be stained red by his blood. But that is okay. Red had always been his color. He'd gladly be covered in it, if only he doesn't have to see it seep out of the bullet wound in his friend's shoulder. Buggy is not shackled or bound in any way. The marines don't think that he will make it out of this cell. And they don't care. Why don't they care? They are pirates, sure, but they are still people! Don't these marines feel any remorse to let a kid bleed out on their dirty cell floor?

But Shanks knows that this is not about them. This is about the fact that they are sailing under Gol D. Roger. They are punishing their captain, and they don't care who gets hurt in the process. Shanks cares! Because it is Buggy. Because the bullet was meant for Shanks. Because Buggy pushed him aside. Because they wouldn't have been there if Shanks hadn't dared Buggy to steal away from the Oro Jackson for just one night. Because because because because. Shanks wants to scream, he wants to cry. But he can't, not yet. Not as long as they are not safe. First, he needs to make sure that Buggy is alright. He needs his hair to be blue again, not dark blue, just blue.

Buggy's eyes drift shut again and Shanks continues his pleads for him to open them. But he doesn't. Air gets stuck in Shanks' lung. He can't breathe, he can't think. He needs to get to Buggy. But he can't. Even when he strains against the shackles, even when the metal, warmed by his own blood, rubs against his sore wrists, even when one of his shoulders pops and strains against its socket. He can't reach Buggy. Pain dances around his eyes, it tinges the edges of his vision black. Before he passes out, a scream rips from his throat and a thought dances around his mind. It is not fair. Buggy is right there! He is so near and yet so far. Like shapes in blue water, not gray blue, just blue.

Years later, there is an ocean of flowers that spans the little hilltop, where Shanks buried his best friend. There are balloon flowers, and edging lobelias, and geraniums, and cornflowers, and they are all blue. Not light blue, just blue.

Okay so like hear me out…

Reader is someone who’s from the original timeline and has been following Shin and Sanzu and is absolutely devastated by what happened to Mikey. Reader blames the two of them, but the one to shoulder most of the burden of your anger and frustrated love was Sanzu.

Time leap after time leap, the results were always the same. Your love of Sanzu would diminish until there was nothing left, a black hole in your heart from the senseless death and violence all because Shinichiro didn’t want Mikey to die; not like you wanted him to die either! The time when Mikey scarred Sanzu you had told him he deserved it. And years later in that time line when he came to you for forgiveness in honor of saving Mikey, you slapped him and said “you’re dead to me.”

Even when everything was fixed and the wedding of the century arrived, you were still unmoved. Reliving and redoing everything over and over and over and over with the bloodshed and lives lost, what good was left? With his palm outstretched and a hopeful smile on his face, Sanzu was eager to set this best timeline with a cherry on top with you finally by his side.

Your eyes held no light and no love as you blankly stare at him.

“You really think after all the times you left me behind, let me die, killed “for” me, all for the sake of Mikey who wasn’t even your lover? I was always second best to him…” your voice raises over the music. “I remember everything. My body remembers everything.” Though your stare is void of any emotion tears still manage to filter through. You gently smack his hand away as he struggles to find his footing. Sharp pink eyes lock onto yours as he straightens his lips, accepting his fate.

The air around you is thick and heavy with years and lifetimes worth of unspoken and misconstrued words. You had to understand, all of it was for Mikey’s sake. He thought you would understand. He calculated you would and that you would stand by him. He didn’t prepare for you to emotionally cut him off.

The worst part of it is that he smiles to himself as you walk away, knowing that in another lifetime, perhaps later in this one, the two of you are perfect for each other
