1. What’s something new that you tried in a fic this year? How did it turn out and would you do it again?

hmmm... this year was actually the very first time i wrote song fic!! and i really enjoyed it. im picking songs that don't have Direct stories and more just have imagery and stuff that i can fuck around with and use as i want and so ill def do it again i think its a blast

17. What were your go-to writing snacks?

i dont usually snack while writing (my brain can TRULY only handle one thing at a time LKNDFNLKNFLK) BUT i am a huge animal cracker fiend. i think i went through a box over the course of iwks.

18. What was the hardest fic to title?

i almost ALWAYS let yall title my fics so luckily non-issue for me <3<3<3 BUT i will say that even coming up with Options for i could be the reason (you don't sleep at night) was tough. i was like 'what does one name a bed-sharing fic' and then never came up with an answer so. taylorswiftification it is!

27. Did you do anything special to celebrate finishing a fic?

sunflower - did some clown makeup

dancing on my own - went to my birthday dinner

if we keep score - got smash drunk and ate chicken nuggets covered in nacho cheese (i am being so fr rn)

LNFLKFFNLNF this was mostly all because these were published on special occasions, though (halloween / my birthday / nye). normally when i finish a fic my celebration is either finally allowing myself to sleep OR watching a silly lil youtube video. im a simple guy !

pairing: dilf!jungkook x reader

summary: jungkook has a habit of snoring, and nabi had enough of it.

Nabi is a very clingy baby.

Very cuddly, too.

So most nights, she somehow finds her way into your and Jungkook’s bedroom.

It's almost like she has a sixth sense for when you're about to settle into bed, starting to cry and whine to get your attention.

And almost always, Jungkook comes back with Nabi cradled in his arms, her fake tears still glistening in her eyes as he carries her into bed.

You remind him that it's not good to let her get used to this habit, and he always defends it by saying he can't resist letting her sleep with you both. "Her big tired eyes melt me into letting her sleep with us."

Jungkook finally gets to experience firsthand what it means to turn putty at the sight of round, sparkly doe eyes.

And just as Nabi has a habit of wanting to sleep between her parents, Jungkook has a habit of snoring. Every night. Though he claims he doesn't snore as loudly when you complain and you always give him an incredulous look, snarling back, "how would you know?"

All three of you are cuddled up in bed, Jungkook’s snores richocheting off the walls as you're deep in sleep—except for Nabi.

She's squirming in bed, the covers getting pulled and tugged with the movements of her little body, which causes you wake up. Your eyes flutter open.

You just catch the moment when Nabi raises her tiny hand and smacks it against Jungkook’s cheek just enough to create a soft echo of the slap.

Jungkook's snoring comes to an abrupt halt.

He grumbles, shifting to adjust his position and escape whatever just hurt him, all while keeping his eyes closed.

You stifle a giggle as you watch him groggily scratch his cheek. Nabi's big, curious eyes drift to your smiling face, and she wriggles her way back to you.

"Good job, Nabi," you whisper, pulling her close. She snuggles into your side, her little fingers curling around your chest as she nestles in.

"Did she just hit me?" Jungkook mumbles, still half-asleep, his voice thick with confusion.

You laugh softly, brushing a hand through Nabi's silky hair.

"Your snores annoyed her," you say, giggling. "See, you are very loud."

"Nabi's ruthless," he huffs.

Jungkook cracks one eye open, glancing at the two of you cuddled up together.

"Traitor," he mumbles, pouting in mock betrayal. But he quickly switches back, leaning in to drop a gentle kiss on her forehead. "Sorry, baby. Dad didn't mean to be so loud. I'll let you sleep now, yeah?"

Nabi lets out a little yawn, her tiny mouth stretching wide as she snuggles deeper into your side. The sight of her small, sleepy face and the way her eyelashes flutter as she fights to keep her eyes open melts both you and Jungkook.

Jungkook shifts to make more room, his arms wrapping around you and Nabi in a protective, cosy embrace.

You rest your head against Jungkook’s shoulder, the three of you nestled together in a perfect cuddle pile. As Jungkook’s breathing gradually synchronizes with Nabi’s, he kisses your forehead, his touch tender and loving.

"Love you, and I'm sorry."

"Love you, and it's okay," you whisper back.

Small(or not) what if scene 👀 What if Mushroom Boy didn't have the ability to hypnotize people, but just read their minds???

Like an AU where his powers are different? I'll indulge since the scenario does seem interesting! 🍄

If Mychael didn't have hypnosis but instead read minds under cut:

Mychael's hypnosis is pretty much his main go-to for survival. As a pacifist (or at least he tries to be) the fastest way to de-escalate a hostile situation is throwing a hypnosis blanket over the threat and make them docile/non-aggressive. If it has a mind he can manipulate why go about it any other way? And keep in mind it's a one-way street. He can feed thoughts into your head but the only way he knows it's working is you reacting externally like with your words and actions.

But suppose he can't manipulate minds but only read them? I think it would shift his entire personality. Knowing people's true intent and what they think of him would change his survival behavior. Instead of placating the threat directly and just force people to accept his presence (albeit under mind control), he'd have to adapt on the spot more often.

He'd have to say and act in whatever way that would earn others' trust enough so they won't hurt him, or just turn and run if he feels like they're out for his blood. He'd be more manipulative, less open and honest, and wear several more masks than he already does now. He'd never give away that he knows what you're thinking at any time, since that's basically his only tool to survive so he wouldn't give up that information easily.

And I imagine after hearing "WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT" over and over and over every single time he meets someone new, he'd just accept nobody wants him at all. So would he even begin to yearn for company? Absolutely not.

This was a really fun scenario so I made a quick doodle just highlighting their main mindsets:

hmmm i don’t think so! there’s definitely some people that i could’ve pictured a real future with but they .. didn’t? so that was disappointing but i wouldn’t say they’re the one that got away per se

oh idk what this would even entail tbh lol but i do love me a good daydream picturing myself in some other life somewhere shrkfldjgl

Hi bestie!!!! Thank you for asking this, I feel people seem to forget about THH (probably because I seem to be a v3 blog lmao)

I put a ? over the ship thing because I don’t really see a lot of ship content but I do think people tend to strip away parts of their character and baby them?? And I know people do that when shipping characters so that would be two-fold.

And the opinions one is for the fact that I comfort hc them as transmasc because that lines up to what I felt in the past. I don’t mind other headcanons but I feel other people…aren’t like that.

your art of oscar and bella together has claimed a vice grip upon my psyche oh my goodness-

i adore bella saltzman so so much and don’t even get me started on how much i adore oscar. those two together, interacting, delightful 🤌✨✨

im so tempted to write something about those two.

the idea of oscar knowing bella long before he knew/met arthur, talking with bella and listening to her tell him about thjs new man she’s been talking to/spending time with.

just like,, the idea of oscar knowing *of* arthur and then years later actually meeting him, is so wild/pos

i just imagine blindfaith, further along, oscar talking to arthur and arthur opening up to oscar about bella. the slow realization for oscar that this is THE man bella was telling him about, all those years ago. realizing that arthur and him were walking on similar paths years before they even knew each other-
