Love you Lost Prince AU and I felt inspired to draw fabart but I would like to know, how does Cub, Scar and Ma'akhi look like? I'm not familiar with Ancient Egyptian wear and I want to protray them as respectable as possible. (Or if drawing them is right out, then I will respect that request too!) Thank you in advance

I'm gonna start with Ma'akhi bc there's less to explain lol, but bear with me, Imma infodump for you anon. :D

Also I will preface this by saying, while I'll share a lot of historical stuff here for reference, this ancient Egypt is an AU with a different timeline, so feel free to take these as a reference and make them your own. Also feel free to use the AU tag when posting so I can see it. :D

For Ma'akhi, his heritage is Roman-Egyptian, and he's mid-30s. His parents were merchants and traders, and they made many trips to Djesdjes while he was a child. He served regularly in the temple when they were staying at the oasis, but only joined permanently once his parents died. This was before the invasion. He did have a Roman name when he was born, but his Egyptian name is what he goes by now. In full, his name is Djehutyma'akheru, 'Djehuty is true of voice'. Ma'akhi is the nickname.

This is the only image I have rn of Ma'akhi. It's a doll maker image i made of him years ago when I was working on this world as original fiction, and while it's not entirely accurate in terms of 'this is what he looks like/this is what he wears' with perhaps the exception of the face, it's at least 'these are the vibes' lol. I'd love to see some actual art of him because that doll is all I have rn!

The outfit he's in here is probably what he'd wear outside of temple spaces when he's not dressed as a priest. I don't see him as the type to wear a wig like other Egyptians would, but he would if the occasion called for it. His dress blends both Roman and Egyptian items, esp jewellery. I suspect he'd have a bunch of non-Egyptian stuff he'd acquired while travelling with his parents.

As a priest, he would wear a long white linen kilt, a white sash over his right shoulder across his body (a mark of Djehuty priests in this AU), papyrus sandals, and as high priest, he would wear the leopard skin cloak. He would also have shaved his whole body. No wool or leather was to be worn in the temple.

^ Priestly attire. But this AU would have longer skirts, usually ankle length, with pleats (and feel free to get Very Fancy with the pleats if you want to). Ma'akhi would be the guy on the far left. Cub and Scar would be closer to the middle two, but with Scar not wearing a sash, and both with longer kilts. Cub, Scar, and Ma'akhi may also wear white linen cloaks for night rituals or outside processions to protect from the heat.

For regular wear, they might just wear shorter kilts, pleated kilts, or tunics. Both Cub and Scar prefer to have their heads shaved, and would definitely wear wigs. I feel like Scar's would be more decorated than Cub's. Cub and Scar are also light-skinned Egyptians, but I'd take their skin tone less White and more tanned/brown to fit their ethnicity.

The pendant Cub wears looks something like this:

Except emerald rather than stone. It'd be about 1.5in/4cm long. It would sit around the middle of the chest near the heart area.

Sans cat, this is the style of carnelian ring Cub wears, with a slightly thicker band:

Scar wears no specific jewellery pieces, but I imagine he wears a bunch of stuff based on what he's been able to steal/trade/haggle off others. So beaded collars, single strings of beaded necklaces, arm bands or bracelets, a variety of rings, pectoral amulets, idk, google some Egyptian jewllery and pick things you think look nice. He's dedicated to Bast ofc so any Bast amulets would be a must, or anything with cats on it. He also carries a satchel/bag with potions, writing tools, and spellbooks in it.

In soldier mode, Cub carries a sword, small pouches for small spells and amulets on his belts, and a shield. Scar fights with bow and arrow if he has to, but he leaves the fighting to Cub. He prefers to talk his way out of danger.

For the Egyptians, the Libyan people (the rebu) were sometimes depicted as light-skinned people.

For my AU, I imagine them wearing more of a loincloth or short kilt and some kind of leather straps around their waist (an influence from contact with Roman armies or serving with them as mercenaries). More of a short tunic when travelling for comfort and sun protection. Leather sandals. They would have grown their hair and beards out too.

Pix, as the Copper King, isn't Libyan, but more like the Berber or Bedouin tribes, but more based on Pixandrian culture than those ones specifically. The mines are a diverse mix of people who've found a home there.

Pearl as the governor of Djesdjes is both a warrior and an official. She would dress as a soldier if defence of the oasis is called for, but when out of that role, she's more in sheath dresses and sandals, with long wigs and gold jewellery. Darker skin than Cub and Scar bc she's got a different ethnic mix, and she's spent a lot of time outside fighting with her soldiers.

Sure!!!!! Sorry it took me a while to get to this ask, but here's some actor au stuffs :]!! It may not be specifically edgejeanist I got a little carried away but eheh

In short, this actor au is just your generic actor au, all the characters are actors that play the roles of the characters in mha!

Though! In my actor au, all my OTHER aus are canonical movies/series/etc that they have all filmed, in addition to the main mha universe! Which causes actor au to kinda go hand in hand with any other, as it is very fun to imagine behind-the-scenes types of scenarios with all my various aus.

Of course, its mostly just my usual set of favourite characters here, but there are more in the au! All characters are in this au, naturally.

I also use my own headcanon names for Ecto, Snipe + Uwabami here, since we just. dont. have names for them ;-;

Kamihara Shinya (Edgeshot):

Age: 34

Often does action + fantasy roles

Generally a really versatile actor but does good serious roles the best

Loves goofing around with his co-workers

His favourite roles/films (aus) are: Pirate, Fantasy, Neon Souls

He breaks character quite often. He simply gets The Giggles easily

^ in relation to this point, it took them a Lot of takes to get the Kamino Pizza scene right

Recently announced his engagement to Tsunagu!

He was asked to play Edgeshot because it was a small role that would fit into his schedule at the time but he really loved playing the character so was incredibly happy when he was asked to come back a couple of seasons later

There are so many compilations and edits of his characters since they’re usually the “stoic and mysterious types” and he finds them very amusing

He has won quite a few awards for his performances

Gets very excited to play roles that let him flirt and romance his own partner. Incredibly so.

When he acts out scenes where he has to yell or be angry, it has often scared the shit out of the others - which is rather effective!

Hakamata Tsunagu (Best Jeanist):

Age: 36

Often does Sci-fi + Historical Romance

Plays a real good charming lead or mysterious side character

Is very silly + has such a contrasting personality to the majority of his roles

His favourite roles: Fallen Deities, Neon Souls, Circus of Death

He is awfully clumsy and trips or breaks props all the time

He does Not like denim all because of being stuck in Best Jeanist's outfit for so long - being clad in denim from head to toe was not all that comfortable

Engaged to Shinya. They announced it on social media during the promotion of one of their movies, and it trended for so long and boosted the anticipation for the movie (not their intention, but hey they'll take it)

He models a lot for different fashion shows

When playing as Best Jeanist, he grew very close with Bakugou and ended up taking him under his wing in real life, becoming like an uncle figure to him and often showing up to his acting gigs to cheer him on

Despite how it may seem, he gets incredibly flustered very easily and intimate scenes or romance scenes in any of his roles make him turn red. They end up having to take breaks in filming because his ears turn red uncontrollably

He is very popular and a large portion of his fans send him handmade crafts and things for him to wear on screen in interviews or q&a sessions

Very emotive eyes. Just a look with his eyes in some scenes is enough to show a lot, he is very skilled as an actor :]

Maijima Higari (Power Loader):

Age: 41

Often does Sci-fi + Fantasy

Does real good 'secretive characters'

Is a nightmare for the hair department

(^ gets shit stuck in his hair constantly and will often get stuck on props on set. It's worse if he wears wigs, those just get stuck and fall off)

Favourites: Space Rangers, Pirate, Radioactive

Forgets his lines an awful lot, despite having a great memory for everything trivial

He memorises his co-stars' favourite drinks and yet not his own lines

Married to Ecto's actor!

Hatsume is their adopted daughter, and was Incredibly Excited to work on set for her role in the main mha series

They have a couple of other kids who show up and get to act in some of their movies with them!

Is actually a rather well-known and very skilled actor, who was cast as Powerloader because the director thought it would be fun to give him a small role cameo. The fans really liked it, and he really enjoys being in the background for small roles anyway.

He has this Very Specific and Unexpected skill of being able to absolutely NAIL screams. Despite being quite a reserved guy + playing pretty generally calm or quiet characters, if you need a scream recorded or a screaming scene, he's the guy.

Like. Angry screaming, grief-stricken wailing, comedic terror, etc. He's just Really Good at it.

Maijima Akira (Ectoplasm) [<- hc name for him bc we don't have a canon one]:

Age: 42

Often does Drama + Supernatural Fantasy

Does real good serious or theatrical roles

Lost his legs in a car accident and continued to act afterwards after a while of rest

He gets to keep the cool custom prosthetics that he wears in all the roles he does

Favourites: Masquerade, Broken Dollhouse, Regal

He is almost always snoozing on set

(^ very much dad-sitting-in-front-of-the-tv style)

He and Higari are married!

Much like Higari, he is a well-known and talented actor who got cast as a background character as Ectoplasm as a fun cameo, however he did not expect to have as much time on screen as he did.

For some reason, most of the roles he plays in require him to wear interesting facial prosthetics and makeup, cgi and motion-capture

He gets asked to play villainous or villainous-looking characters very often. He just gives off that vibe.

Still insists on doing as many stunts as he can himself, as long as he can, and used to do all of his stunts himself before his accident

He trained in a couple martial arts and also used to dance!

Yamada Hizashi (Present Mic):

Age: 31

Often plays good fun-lighthearted roles

Really hits the strong tragic and serious roles too

Speaks so many languages

Favourites: Fairground, Fantasy, Masquerade

Turns everything into a musical number when he is off set

When waiting for the cameras to start rolling, he will often drag the others into dancing or singing their lines for fun

He is married to Aizawa :)

Much like his character, he likes doing things in the media such as showing up on radio shows and podcasts and making cameos on random shows on tv

He can do VERY impressive and accurate impressions and often uses this to goof around with his co-stars characters on set.

Similarly, much like Higari, he can absolutely NAIL vocal acts like screaming, yelling and wailing or anything of the sorts.

He plays a lot of comedic characters, but some of his favourites are the ones that are actually very serious or dark characters, requiring a lot of emotion and genuine feeling.

But he does love playing Present Mic. A lot. Since he is the most like him irl lol

Eri's actor happens to be their daughter irl and she was very excited to play Eri

Has his own record label that he publishes music under

Aizawa Shouta (Eraserhead):

Age: 31

Often plays stoic + mysterious roles

Is an absolute sweetheart

(^ loves to give advice to the kids and younger actors and cheers them up to calm their nerves)

Is allergic to cats, despite loving them so much

Favourites: Trapped, Roleswap, Corrupt Horrors

Is always running about 5 minutes late

Theres no explanation for this, but some people suspect that his watch or clock is set wrong

Married to Yamada :]

He has absolutely awful eyesight but doesn't like wearing glasses so he wears contacts most of the time

After shooting for mha, he would normally buy food and drinks for all the kids acting the kids in class 1-A and they nicknamed him dadzawa irl

Shinsou is his biological son and the other cast members would always joke about how similar they look

Hated how scruffy he had to look as Eraserhead, as he takes a lot of pride in maintaining his hair and beard

Still won't show Eri the scene where he cuts his own leg off

Sam Ueno (Snipe) [Another with a hc name + age( + face hc) too]:

Age: 40

Plays really good parental roles (is a single dad)

He brings his kid to set very often and the others love to see her, she likes watching the behind the scenes

Used to be a theatre actor

Is really good with accents + does Voice Acting for quite a few shows

Favourites: Winged Warriors, Pirate, Broken Dollhouse

Constantly sneaking snacks on set and can be seen eating different snacks Every Single Time Somehow

He went to the same acting school as Ecto, and they even did their first acting gig together!

He loves cowboys and was overjoyed when he got asked to play as Snipe. Could regularly be seen just sitting in his little coat just watching the others and cheering them on in their scenes

Has directed films before too and won an award for a film that he directed for

Is very good at close-up magic? Just pulls out tricks at random intervals on set

Tatsuma Ryuko (Ryukyu):

Age: 26

Often plays in Action + Thriller

Is a real sucker for a good romance role and will watch romcoms in her spare time

Really likes to sneak in Easter Eggs to her roles for her fans to find

There are blogs and social media pages dedicated to finding and listing them all

Favourites: Space Rangers, Forest Keepers, Regal

She takes an absurd amount of coffee breaks

She is dating Uwabami's actor + Rumi

Absolutely LOVES the fact that she gets to play a whole ass dragon. She LOVES it.

The sharp teeth prosthetics that she got for playing Ryukyu made it so that it was very hard for her to take snack breaks during filming, so often they would try to shoot her scenes all together so she can take them out and eat

Her and Shinya act a lot like those annoying siblings that go around pranking their co-stars constantly

She will often be seen napping around set also

Usagiyama Rumi (Miruko):

Age: 27

Often plays in Action + Drama

Is actually very squeamish and doesn't like horror movies all that much

Has won quite a few awards for her previous roles

Favourites: Radioactive, Fallen Deities, Fantasy

She loves to do her own stunts and is a trained martial artist!

She is dating Ryuko + Uwabami's actor

She enjoys attending the fashion shows that Yumie models for and can often be seen with Ryuko in the audience cheering her on

She finds the edits of her characters very very fun, and actually asks her fans to tag her in fanart they make of her characters

She is allergic to carrots and so in the photoshoots of her as Miruko (referring to a couple of hori sketches) she uses prop plastic carrots

Is a very good singer and has played in a few musicals with her singing as characters

Shimizu Yumie (Uwabami) [yet another hc name + age]:

Age: 30

Often does Supernatural Fantasy + Historical Drama

Loves comedy a lot + makes her way into blooper reels a Lot.

Has a lot of animals and often brings her pets to set for the others to play with

They love this.

Favourites: Supernatural Beings, Pirate, Masquerade

She forgets her lines quite a bit

She is dating Ryuko + Rumi

Previously dated Midnight's actor, but the two of them ended things on good terms and often act on the same sets together

Models a lot and has a rather lengthy list of popular looks from red-carpet events

She absolutely LOVES whenever she gets to wear prosthetic fangs, she runs around set and shows them off

Uwabami was a very small cameo role that she played while filming for something else

Her and Tsunagu have a very fun besties/sibling-like relationship that makes shooting scenes together quite difficult since they just chat or make each other laugh very easily

I'd love to do some more for other characters and some fun scenes at some point, but for now this is all I could conjure up lol

Having this au be a very involved au that interacts with every other au I have, including most importantly the canon universe, is a very fun thing.

To say that Tang Zhan's twin brother was a bit of a recluse would be an understatement.

Despite being named after one of the most renowned members of the Tang Family, Tang Gunak's son took after the known worst traits of their great ancestor.

Tang Bo was as cold and uncaring as the earlier recounts of his namesake. But unlike their ancestor, his son wasn't interested in improving his martial arts. Rather, he seemed to content himself with staying indoors and building that strange shrine of his that appeared to be dedicated to the Plum Blossom Sword Saint.

Tang Gunak sighs tiredly. He could never get a straight answer from his son whenever he asked about his odd obsession with Mount Hua's hero. Through the years, he's learned to brush it off as another eccentricity of his son.

The one time he ordered Tang Pae and Tang Zhan to remove their brother's shrine, they both ended up needing immediate medical assistance because of how viciously Tang Bo had attacked them for 'desecrating' his altar.

He thinks it's such a shame that Tang Bo refuses to partake in his siblings' training, but despite his adamant refusal, his son's core is still one of the strongest among his siblings.

And one of the purest too, it suddenly comes to Tang Gunak's mind as he watches Chung Myung cheerfully chug down another bottle of alcohol.

It feels almost wrong how easy it was to compare Chung Myung's core with his son's despite them being on vastly different spectrums while having equally well-known namesakes from their respective family and sect.

On one end in the dark, there was Tang Bo who quietly cultivated his core as he whispered quiet mutterings to his altar and refused interactions with people unnecessarily. And on the other was Chung Myung, who was at the forefront of Mount Hua's rise.

It was admirable, truly.

Tang Gunak would say so as much if it weren't for the sudden killing intent he could feel directed at him.

Standing outside right in front of the window with no subtlety whatsoever was his son, Tang Bo. His face was pressed against the window panes and Tang Gunak only realized then how threatening of an aura his son could produce.

Chung Myung wiped the drips of alcohol away from his lips and cast Tang Bo an amused look, "Aren't you going to finally let him in?"

Tang Gunak would have if he didn't know that his son would begin to antagonize him the moment he's let into the room by monopolizing Chung Myung's attention and looking smug about it. It happened during their first meeting in the dining hall so Tang Gunak wouldn't be surprised if it happened all over again.

He would lean overly into Chung Myung's space and call him 'hyung' with an exaggerated tone despite being the older of the two. And much to everyone else's bafflement and discomfort, Chung Myung wordlessly let him.

While Tang Gunak was glad that his son finally deemed it alright to leave the confines of his room, he isn't sure if the change in obsession from the Plum Blossom Sword Saint to Mont Hua's Divine Dragon was a fair exchange.

Tang Gunak watches as Chung Myung makes his way to the window and leans against Tang Bo from the other side.

Tang Bo's face noticeably softens as his gaze shifts toward the younger man and it twists a strange part of Tang Gunak's stomach to watch the same thing happen to Chung Myung's face.

Said man taps against the glass pane, "Stop being so intense. You're freaking your dad out."

His son grumbles while tossing him another stink-eye—Tang Gunak has gotten his fair share of those this past week ever since these two struck up a sudden close friendship. His gaze turns petulant as he returns his attention to Chung Myung.

"What is it about me making friends that you hate so much," Chung Myung rolls his eyes in exasperation.

"My father doesn't want you to be 'just friends'."

Tang Gunak would be more offended by the vitriol in the way Tang Bo called him his father if he weren't distracted by the weird tone his son spoke the last phrase.

Tang Bo takes a look at the mutual confusion on Chung Myung and Tang Gunak's faces and isn't sure if he's thankful or annoyed that he's surrounded by painfully emotionally oblivious people.

Less competition but, at the same time, it's sometimes too embarrassing to watch the way Tang Gunak unconsciously acted around Chung Myung in private.

Tang Bo narrows his eyes. It's been more than a lifetime, surely his feelings will reach Chung Myung faster than his father's does. Right??

the little moans and groans he would make... oh my godddddd. he knows exactly what he's doing, but he wants to ease into it, take it slow at first. he'd gradually become more insistent and needy, for lack of a better word, when he realizes that you're as into it and enthusiastic as he is (he's very enthusiastic about everything regarding you). also, i just know he loves kissing your neck, his breath hot against your skin with his hands firmly on your waist as he leaves sloppy, wet kisses on your skin, his teeth occasionally grazing against you. if he leaves any marks, they're low and easy enough to hide. he's skilled with his mouth, and he knows it.

he'd also for sure mumble compliments and praises against your lips and your neck because this mf loves to talk. shutting up is simply not an option, no matter the scenario.

Now that Enver and Elodie are married and knowing the lengths Enver will go to for Bane, would he be willing to "sacrifice" his own wife for his God? Not literally, but putting her in danger under Bane's command. We know he refused to go through the entire initiation protocol during his wedding to Elodie (her dress cough cough). Is his obsession with her greater than his obsession with Bane right now?

Short answer? Yes - he would be willing to sacrifice Elodie if Bane asked him to.

Long answer? It's a bit more complicated than that and involves a bit of lore 👇🏻

Enver’s reluctance to fully undress Elodie in order to burn her wedding dress stemmed not from compassion, but from possessiveness. To him, Elodie is his - his possession, his prize - and he refuses to expose her body, even partially, to anyone else (aside from Bane). Even the act of undressing her, no matter how symbolic, is something he jealously guards. That same possessiveness surfaces in chapter three when Astarion touches her shoulder, and even earlier when Enver learns she's rejected other men before him.

According to Faiths and Avatars, "Bane was to be feared by his faithful and even more feared by the unfaithful."

Enver may not have immediately stripped Elodie of her Lathanderian wedding dress, but he accurately pointed out that she had already given Bane what he demands most: submission and fear. By that point, the dress became secondary. Burning it served only as a symbolic assertion of dominance - a power play meant to reinforce superiority. And as Bane's Chosen, Gortash always gets the final word. Reasserting his own authority (particularly in front of the clergy), his divine right, is entirely in line with the tenets of the Church of Bane.

As for whether he would ever sacrifice her - be it through harm or even death - if Bane demanded it, the answer remains yes, as stated above, but it would bring him no satisfaction. Enver wants Elodie to obey because he has no desire to hurt her; in his mind, pain should be unnecessary if devotion is given freely. Still, that conflict between what he wants and what his god commands comes to a head in chapter five, when the conversation turns (spoiler alert) to the question of children, yet the underlying tension stays the same: Enver is devout, and when forced to choose, he will always obey.

Faiths & Pantheons (published in 2002 and partially serving as a canonical foundation for fire & ice) makes this uncompromising doctrine clear: "He [Bane] has no tolerance of failure and seldom thinks twice about submitting even a loyal servant to rigorous tortures to ensure complete obedience to his demanding, regimented doctrine."

If even Bane’s most faithful are not spared, Enver would never presume that he - let alone Elodie - would be the exception.

Does Gortash love Elodie? For now, I leave that question to the readers, though you will get an answer in time. His obsession with her is fuelled by a belief that she is his equal in wit and his match in will - something rare enough to fascinate him. Bane's demands only intensified his fixation and gave him divine license to pursue her. He told her plainly on their wedding night that while he may not want to hurt her, he has no qualms doing so if it becomes necessary. The only reason he shows any leniency at all is because he views her as his equal - but, as with him, she will always be subordinate to Bane. Enver will always serve his Lord first.

Enver may want her loyalty out of desire, but if forced to choose between her and his god, there is no choice at all.

niku’s gojo in general is one of my favorites ever ever ever but i’m specifically adding a link to bten because . bten lives in my brain <3 and i adore both bten!reader & bten!gojo more than anything….. ANYWAY . niku’s gojo is my favorite for many reasons but above all else he just…. feels so real to me . sometimes i have to remind myself that i’m reading a fic and not canon content bc her gojo just FEELS like gojo . it’s a little scary. i read bten and heard kaiji tang’s voice in my ear 😭 i think it’s sooo difficult to capture the balance that canon!gojo has, but niku does it so effortlessly!!! he’s so charming and guarded and annoying and kind beneath it all and i’m just….. in love with him . that’s all. i do want to strangle him just a tiny bit but mostly i want to kiss him.

sel’s col!gojo…. my baby my husband the loml. i adoreeeee sel’s take on gojo and the way he views/approaches love ….. and just like niku her gojo feels so real and so grounded!!!! sel has a way of rounding out her characters and making them feel so human, which i. adore. and it works so well with gojo. col!gojo is canon to me idc. he’s so relatable to me and following his story with col!reader was just so touching 🥹🥹 i . cried . every time he blushed or got flustered i fell to my knees . flustered gojo is really hard to get right i think??? bc it’s just….. such a rare mood from him. but it feels so perfect in her fics. col!gojo reminds me of a plant in the softest, most loving way and i just want him to grow and embrace the sun !!!!!!!! i want him to be happy….

another general pick; alexis’s gojo!!!!!! (link goes straight to my personal fav which is a very bold statement to make but i think abt this fic constantly)…. this is another gojo that just feels. so canon to me somehow???? every time i read her gojo fics i’m just like yeah…. that’s gojo satoru. that’s the gojo satoru that i love and adore. it always reminds me of WHY i love him sm and it’s just….. such a wonderful feeling yk??? alexis rlly captures what i perceive as the core of his character!!!!! i can’t tell you what it is exactly but i feel that so strongly!!!!! he’s my baby and i love him so so bad. he makes me so happy and he feels so human:((((( i just love him…. him and his self-destructive little habits….. also special shoutout to idol!gojo bc he’s just soo. yeah.

then we have io’s flower shop!satoru <333 the fic isn’t out as of rn, but i added a link to a snippet that i’m still swooning over….. i ADORE this concept and it’s so perfect for io’s gorgeous and flowery writing!!!! he was made for her fr…… i just really love the idea of a soft, gentle, smitten satoru 🥺 and him being a flower boy rlly scratches an itch in my brain because of his canon ties to flowers!!! the fact that he kind of views other people as flowers. or at least compared them to flowers in ch. 236….. i just feel like this concept is . genius. nature loves satoru and he loves it back . he’s a nurturing soul at his core imo and that’s not something i see people explore super often, but this au captures it perfectly <33

lily’s poseidon!suguru stole my heart very recently and i have ….. not stopped thinking of him since. i love any take on suguru as a god and lily’s version is just so genius . suguru being a god of the sea????? it’s perfect….. and the fact that he’s so gentle and coaxing and sweet 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫 just the way he speaks in this drabble had me captivated he is truly the god of all time….. and his DESIGN . the concept in itself. i know for a fact that he’s the most stunning man you’ll ever see. he’s so almighty and powerful and he speaks so softly and gently but you hear every word crystal clear because he just has this Presence…… i rlly can’t stop thinking about him.

"You're really getting a tattoo on your neck?" Gina asks sitting beside Lewis who's watching as Yn scribbles something on the paper the tattoo artist gave her. They were yet unaware that the tattoo would be in Mick's and Yn's handwriting, both just knew the couple was getting matching tattoos. Well, new matching tattoos because they already had done it the last month. Yn sporting the number 47 just behind her ear, and Mick sporting a small shoe in the same location.

Mick nods to Gina, "Yeah, it'll look good," he grins at Yn who playfully rolls her eyes, trying to keep the anticipation of kissing her own handwriting on his neck.

"Your is gonna be in your neck as well?" Lewis asks his sister, but Yn shakes her head.

"Mine will be on my wrist," she turns it up, pointing to the exact place with the pen in her hands.

Mick grabs a pen, writing "Schatzi" in it a couple times, before showing Yn, "Is this a good size?"

Gina and Lewis shared a look finally understanding what their baby siblings were doing. Gina has a grin bigger than her face, and Lewis just chuckles watching the whole scene unfold. He's happy for Yn, though he'll definitely talk with Mick again, just for a measure, because now the German has two marks on his baby sister, two tattoos when he only has one with her.

The artist starts to explain the whole procedure even though they were there just a few weeks back. Mick and Yn are sitting side by side and nod along. They're holding hands, keeping them laced while Mick gets his tattoo. He makes some faces at Yn and holds back the laughter when she winces for him in a particular spot. It doesn't take long. It's a fairly small tattoo, "mouse" in cursive letters. Her nickname for him. The silly little name she's been calling him even before they got together. When it's her turn, things are almost the same. Gina and Lewis from the back filming and joking, and Mick and Yn holding hands.

Mick bends to capture her lips in a quick kiss when she whines about how the first S is hurting. It's in capital letters, and it's his handwriting. He feels a surge of pride watching the drawing getting form. Yn is distracted enough by his kisses and whispers to whine again. And when it's finished they're both smiling at the other.

"This looks so cool," Yn gazes at Mick's neck, his new tattoo covered by a thin layer of protector foil.

"Well, we are done with tattoos for a long while now, yeah?" Lewis quirks his brows, clearly joking with the couple. Yn shows him her tongue, and Mick just shrugs, both silently hiding the fact that they're are already having new ideas.

Yn's body was his temple, and Mick was a feverish devotee. She was his queen, and he was her proud subject. Of course, he would have her eternalized on his skin in a way that everyone could see.

it's actually insane to me that That circle of people is 1. trying to say that an indigenous character is a 'maga conservative mouthpiece' for the devs, all bc he does, admittedly, have certain problematic stances and viewpoints- but so do multiple other dragon age characters and they're never treated this way by people, and those characters never attempt to move past those prejudices- while solas in DAI actively does. and they also say this to defend their headcanons of his race and culture. because his lived experience contradicts their headcanons, he's racist and blinded by his trauma. What? The fuck? 2. trying to accuse you of being maga and conservative for the viewpoint that 'hey, saying that your perspective and interpretation from your culture is the ONLY correct/non-racist perspective on a fictional culture that was derived from MANY marginalized cultures is bad, actually.' as well as 'hey, using your ethnicity to shield yourself from criticism is really fucking garbage when you ignore and block and belittle other people of that ethnicity that try to disagree'. like apparently they think 'hey using your perspective to silence other ethnicities is okay!' because that is essentially when the person arguing with you kept circling back to. 3. trying to say you're defending the dev's racism when what you were doing was trying to call out a fellow roleplayer's SILENCING of other marginalized identities, and then they claimed- what? that anyone else who sees their culture in the dalish is identifying WITH the racism of the devs??? becauses that is how that read to me. Like... no one disagreed that the devs using the vallaslin the way they did was a poor choice. while it's true there have been cultures in history that did use facial tattoos for slaves or for human sacrifice or whatever, it's still an insensitive decision! and NO ONE disagreed with that!

but from what I saw, you and roughly 4-5 other indigenous people, as well as several other writers, some white, some white and Otherwise marginalized, and some poc of other sorts were saying: 'hey. we get what you're trying to say here, but saying that your culture's perspective is the only correct/non-racist one is not good and not okay. it silences people of other cultures who see their cultures in these characters. yes the devs were racist and careless but that doesn't mean that erasing the other cultures that contributed is ok, and doesn't mean that you get to tell people of those cultures that their interpretations are inherently Less than yours'. Because that is how that original post read, and it's what the person arguing with you essentially defended. Saying that other cultural influences and interpretations are inherently wrong or less. when as far is i know, every culture that went into the making of dragon age elves was one that was a victim of colonization and white supremacy.

and you were fully right. they're making an echo room of their own, all while trying to say that white fans of the game are making echo rooms. and yet all i've seen was people who have been white stepping back to let the indigenous people say their pieces, and then listen to those pieces.

anyways i respect you for fighting as hard as you did. anyone with a brain can tell you're neither maga nor conservative, and neither is solas. i'm really sorry these people are making your fandom so hostile. i'm sorry they're saying such weird things and resorting to insults when they can't wrap their brain about what you're saying and cannot bear to understand they're wrong and in the wrong.
