Thank you so much ! I want to continue the animatic yes ! But work has me exhausted lately so I went with something that is easier to finish first (the comics) since animatics take so much time to make.

But I really like the plot of the hazbin animatic, It was one of the first ideas that I had after watching the season finale and I think it's funny so I waaaannt to find the time to work on it !!

Ring brainrot! Why, don't mind if I do! Let's see what I've got knocking around in the old noggin today. None of this will be categorized or anything like that. I'm just diving in and throwing what I find to the wall and sticking it there lmao

First of all, I want to talk about how pretty his eyes are.

I'll get into other stuff later but for now! Look at how pretty his peepers are!

And! And the fact that they can look so sharp and focused and alert one minute and then soft and endearing and innocent the next?? Be still my little heart!

I will pay Cybird a frankly stupid amount of my hard-earned money to see this man-- all of Vogel really but especially Ring, in a suit. He would look so good in one! Since Vogel's color is mainly white, I bet any suit they stick him in would also be white but I bet he could pull it off. If I get to see this man in a suit I will die a very happy beyotch. Gimme a suit CG, Cybird please I beg!

Speaking of happy, his smile legitimately makes me happy. I mean, how could it not, right? Like,

Look at him he looks so soft! Oh, I just want to give him all the kisses!

I'm hoping that one of his route CGs will feature a full, genuinely happy smile like with teeth and it reaching his eyes and the whole shebang. Given Ikevil's aversion to teeth, will it happen? I dunno, beats me, probably not but I can dream, yeah?

I would also like to put him in a leather jacket. And a tank top and that's just to see the arms.

I headcanon that he and Nica are fairly tall compared to Dari and most of Crown. I don't think they're as tall as Ellis and Roger but I just picture the twins being on the vertically gifted side.

I imagine that being Vogel's guard dog and given his and Nica's implied upbringing, he has at least a few scars on his body. He would have to, right? With the kind of focus and determination he shows to following Dari's orders, I would think it would've led to a few injuries and wounds in the past. And that's not even touching on the crumbs of crumbs we've gotten of his backstory so far.

On to our next stop in this little adventure!

His main hobbies are training, and taking naps in the afternoon and eating. But he also loves animals and flowers and seems to know a lot about them and flower language. It's been stated that animals will follow/flock to him a lot of the time, and he never seems to feel full no matter how much he eats.

I'm going to look into each of these just a bit for this part here.

I believe that Ring not only trains as much as he does because he found a way to genuinely enjoy it, but because he and Nica were at one point in time very helpless and he wanted to make sure that if he could help it, neither of them would ever feel helpless again. I feel like Nica looked out for him a lot before Dari found them (not wanting to go into too much detail for those who don't know a lot of the JP lore) and so he wanted to return the favor. His big brother kept him safe so now he wants to keep Nica and Dari safe now that he's older and stronger.

I also believe that his and Nica's previous...situation is why he likes taking naps in the afternoon. I feel like perhaps they were in a place where they didn't have a lot of sunlight for a long while and no real way to see it a lot if ever, so now as an adult, it's something that brings him enough comfort to fall asleep.

(I legitimately can't wait to bawl my eyes out at his and Nica's routes when they're released. Ready for the PAIN)

The food bit is probably easily explained by saying they didn't have access to a lot of food as kids but I also feel like he just really really likes food. Definite foodie. He'd be the type to try almost anything at least once just to see if he likes it. I feel like he'd be particularly intrigued with spicy food, since Germany doesn't really have a lot of spicy dishes from my brief google searching.

Flower language was really popular in Victorian England but I'm not sure how popular it was in Germany at the time. Whatever the case, I love the fact that he loves flowers and knows so much about them. I think he'd be the type to painstakingly put together a bouquet for someone he has a thing for in an attempt to show his feelings since he gets so easily flustered saying them aloud.

As for the animal thing, I'm a sucker for a guy who loves animals and I could definitely see multiple instances of Dari having to exasperatedly tell Ring that no, he could not keep the pigeon that followed him home, or the dog he saved from being run over by a carriage, or the cat that innocently curled up in his lap while he was taking a nap under a tree...

Aaaaand on to the next stop of the brainrot train! The train of rot, if you will. This is even more random thought splattering don't mind me.

I took German in all four years of high school and was decent at it but promptly dropped it the second I graduated. This man? This man right here? Is single-handedly making me want to re-learn what I learned and go further with it and actually learn as much as I can just because I want to be able to speak his native language.

I feel like he'd be the type to give really long hugs. I imagine he and Nica are really really touch-starved so the second he starts getting regular affection, he'll drink up every drop he can. Neck nuzzles, long contented sighs, and like, you'd be able to feel him relax the longer you held him and I think that'd be really really sweet.

That would also go for sex. The wanting to have it as much as possible once he does actually have it, anyway. Like pringles. Once you pop you can't stop and I think he'd be like that for a hot minute...or forever.

I could go on and on for a while but I'll spare everyone paragraphs of my Ring Schwartz word vomit. I love Ring a lot. I can't remember the last time I got so attached to a fictional character and he's probably the closest to an f/o I've ever gotten. He hasn't been in the game for long but he already means a lot to me and I can't wait to find out more about him and his story and the rest of Vogel as well.

To be honest anon, I have absolutely no idea, BUT I do have a few ideas on who COULD be Clarence though!

Mrs. Driscoll, Bob, and Mr. Clarke. Those are my ideas and they all have reasons as to why they also cant be him

Mrs. Driscoll could be a good client at the building and loan, Bob could be George’s dad instead of Hopper (Lonnie and Joyce like in canon are divorced and it happens before the events of the au but sometime after Will is born), And Mr. Clarke could be the Principle that talks to George and the gang at the dance

Even with these three potential candidates for Clarence, I still don’t know and I can’t think of any other character who would fit that role. Those three are the only ones who would work

oh god, this is torture... (but I love being tortured - lol).

Paul is the most talented one I think, if I would rewind to 1957 when John met him and he had to teach John chords, Paul also has had more time to polish his craft in the world of living, and create more art and music.

Still I would prefer a Beatles album over a solo album. It is just more rounded and feels more complete to me. All of the elements, George being the best guitarrist, John lyrically surreal but also coming up with very original melodies, Paul straight forward with his punchy songs he can pull out of nowhere. All of them have created melodies, written lyrics that have touched me. Musically they are better together.

Re carlos and ferrari

I might have got things muddled but didn’t Zak say that he wanted Daniel a couple of years before he actually signed and that he’d been talking to him before carlos signed for ferrari? Maybe Carlos knew that 3 into 2 wouldn’t work and lando was likely to be favoured. I think ferrari legit wanted carlos and was much deserved given what he’d already accomplished. But agree with previous anon that the ferrari offer came at a very opportune moment, most likely encouraged by Zak because he knew it would make his 3 driver problem a lot easier.

It’s easy to get things muddled McLaren, haha! Daniel was considered for one of Fernando or Stoffel’s open seats but they went with Carlos, I’d say with team chemistry it was the best choice. Ferrari approached Carlos, he accepted and Zak had to find someone to take his seat. That’s what he meant when he said he liked Danny! McLaren were willing to resign Carlos first but Seb’s situation with Ferrari complicated that idea.

Ooohh, this question lived in my head for a few days. Context for this is Brisala is a Telvanni Master who specializes in fungal necromancy. The necromancy part is a not well-kept secret but the fungomancy is where Brisala's true passion lies.

An endless web of mycelium in the very earth and home so long she's in Vvardenfell. Mushroom Towers that she could very well manipulate with her fingertips? She's probably not the first or last fungomancer, what with Telvanni Masters priding themselves on their mushroom towers. But Brisala is interested more in the sharing ability of fungi.

How they bond with forests and share nutrition. How they communicate between webs when attacked by parasites. How they are an endless source across the land.

What would happen if one could tap into this and become part of it?

Brisala has the ability to project her mind into mycelium and gather information out of it.

She can also draw the very magic of the land into her fingertips through them.

It is good then that Brisala is more interested in beneficial research than conquest. Imagine if all of the floral and fungi of Vvardenfell bowed to her call?

Well a sequel to Stolen Treasure would probably have Erik and Logan successfully smuggling Charles out of New York and the three of them (plus baby!) to California where they can all start a new life. The 'plan' was to go their separate ways once they safely got away from the Markos and the baby was born, but of course FEELINGS happen and Charles decides he doesn't actually want to go off on his own - he wants to be their omega properly (yes Cherigan!). Logan goes along with it immediately, because he's more pragmatic and he has become very protective of Charles and the baby. Erik is harder to convince, not because he's not head over heels like Logan but because something something he doesn't want Charles to be 'forced' to stay with them for safety and because he feels like he owes them a debt. Then Charles slaps him until he stops being stupid and they all live happily ever after :D

Well I read of lot of Bagginshield in addition to X-Men fics so the last fic I read happens to be Most Ardently by crxmsonscarrletx, a Pride and Prejudice au. Highly recommend!!!

The last fic I read in the X-Men fandom was actually a re-read of this brilliant Pacific Rim AU We'll Show Them All by kaydeefalls. I love everything about it, but especially how fiercely Raven and Charles love each other and the fact that they were the drift compatible pair to start. A++++ highly recommend.

I'm sorry if I have asked this before but geniunely, what software(s) do you use for storyoarding/animatics? your work is amazing and I'm in desperate need of a guide

I use Toon Boom storyboard pro for my animatics because it's the software I was taught on, and I believe it became industry standard where I live. I also find the interface fairly easy to understand and maneuver (got taught the basics of it in under 3 hours).

It's however quite an expensive software given it's mostly for the industry, but I'm not gonna pretend I don't know students or small independent artists who got it "for free".

Your ask got me curious about other board software though, because Stopro is all I know :,) I found a software called "Storyboarder" by Wonder Unit ? It seems to be free and by the look of the interface only, quite easy to use !

And then without being specifically "for storyboard" I'm assuming a lot of softwares with animation features could be used for board and animatics ? So photoshop, clip studio paint, Tvpaint, that new procreate one etc !

hbomberguy’s latest video on plagiarism has made me completely rethink literature and writing. I have never once so much as considered intentionally plagiarizing anyone or anything, but I think there’s something more that has come out of this: the names of the people who created the works Somerton (and others) ripped off.

Plagiarism isn’t only bad because it is lazy and disrespectful, it’s bad because it buries the truth. If you can’t find a source, the conversation is over. Somerton’s sources are fairly easy to find by simply searching his plagiarized lines, but that isn’t true in most cases. Most of the time, the line from statement to source is a lot less clear.

Today, I was writing a report on English Ivy, which is an invasive species here in the US. I wanted to know when it was introduced and I at last found a source claiming it was introduced to the Americas “as early as 1727” on a .net website that seems quite reputable (it has multiple major universities credited in its home page), but there is no citation for where this date came from. I dug deeper and found a pamphlet created by a city government in Virginia that made the same claim, only to discover the first source linked in their bibliography. Another website (a botanical garden’s page) gave the same date with the same source hyperlinked. Of course, I have classes to attend and things to do and probably not enough time to follow the lines back to where this 1727 date came from, but if I had not just watched this video, I wouldn’t have given that date a second thought.

Of course, it doesn’t matter in the long run exactly what year hedera helix was introduced to the Americas, but it makes you wonder how many facts have been so vaguely attributed that it becomes completely impossible to figure out where they originated (and further, whether or not they’re true at all).
