Will not lose her composure but will raise her voice so everyone in the room can hear her clearly. She will brag this hoe, with class.

Valeria: She would not even have a chance to throw hands because her family is always present at local town parties and her brothers would have stepped in already if they saw someone bother their little sister's man/woman when they already turned them down (Lord help them if her brothers saw mutual flirting).

Aurelio: Cool as a cucumber as he's confidante there exists literally nobody who can compete with him but won't let anybody harass someone at one of his parties, much less his own love. Will warn them once to stop and if it continues will have them escorted out.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc - (6/10)

Not sure how much milk the cash cow has left, but you can be sure the good farmers at Ufotable are going to keep squeezing that teet. I find it incredibly ironic that one of the complaints about DS when the manga was still ongoing is that the story progressed way too fast and now people are complaining the anime is too slow. At the very least, the switch to movie format should help the pacing issues...I hope.

Kaiju No. 8 - (8/10 (kek))

Konosuba! 3 - (8/10)

Don't really have much to write tbh. It's still funny. Sucks the character designs are not as expressive as they were in the first two seasons, but we're here for the cast and they are still as good as ever.

Mushoku Tensei: Jobless Reincarnation Season 2 Part 2 -(6/10)

Didn't I say I was going to drop this series? Must've forgot. Anyway, watching this for Norn, would shot up to being the best character in this show, was worth it. Still don't care for much of everything else. Rudeus still sucks.

GO! GO! Loser Ranger! - (6/10)

The Boys- I mean. Loser Ranger is a show with a good concept and plot and some of the best direction I've seen in an action show. Unfortunately, it's boggled down by the fact that most, if not all. the characters in this show are not endearing or just flat out suck. I don't know if I'll bother with S2 but this was fun despite my lack of investment.

Jellyfish Can’t Swim in the Night - (7.5/10)

I don't think this was as good as everyone was praising throughout it's run, but it's a very strong story nonetheless. The themes that it tackled hit a little too close to home and the drama felt very genuine. Kiui was my favorite.

Laid-Back Camp Season 3 - (7/10)

Peak comfy is back!! This time with a new studio and much more RL backgrounds. Both of which I did not like lol. Granted, eight-bit at the moment is very stretched thin giving how many shows their are working on. Maybe in the future more staff can jump on future installments of Yuru Camp and make it better than what we got. Please add Aya to the main cast

Sound! Euphonium 3 - (9/10)

Kyoani is back and stronger than ever as they bring Kumiko's high school journey to a close. The drama this season was some of the best Eupho has produced and the new characters were fantastic additions to the cast. I am sad we didn't get as many performances but the one we got in the finale more than made up for that, and even made me cry a bit. This series is so important to me and I'm glad it got to reach it's conclusion at the level. Well done Kitauji!

Game, Set, Match (August, 62.4k, M) - Tennis AU. I think I reblogged this when I read it but this was such a refresh for me in the Piarles game! The action writing here is so strong for the tennis portions it actually inspired me to watch the tennis version of DTS on Netflix to watch some of it play out visually because it was so enticing to read. And the characterizations of both of them but Charles in particular, were so interesting and tapped into a side of his personality that i think should be explored more. Bonus Sewis written so well in the background too! If you want a completed Piarles longfic you can read in one long sitting, this should be your first stop. And a second follow up in this series was just released the other week so perfect timing and i get to say both count as recent! my rules!

an indentation in the shape of you (September, 16k, T) - A 5+1 Footballer/Musician AU. I just read this and loved it. It's such a gorgeous story about loving the people who have been there through your life, and what it means to nurture that love through distance. It's rooted in some of the fundamental hardships of early career days -that balancing act of how people you care about intertwine with the journey who you are and who you want to be. Piarles often feels inevitable in some ways, but this explores one of my favourite things about their relationship: the intentionality of sustained closeness.

call it what you want to (September, 138K, E) - Longfic CEO AU. This one I actually read as a WIP, which i dont do very often, but I am so happy to have done that because there was so much here! I think what was done so well in this work is that the beats of the tropes on the tin (enemies to lovers, slowburn, the corporate au of it all, etc) are hit quite cleanly, but because they're done across such a length of story, they feel quite natural when you look back at it holistically. Its like eating the perfect thanksgiving plate, all the key flavours are exactly what you wanted when you bite into it, and when you're done the meal you think wow, that all just works together somehow? The second half of the fic hits SUCH a stride with the themes of grief in particular. It's a story I've already re read, and something you can pick back up sections of to really delve into whichever trope or storyline you found most compelling when you're done.

I wanna touch your body, so fucking electric (August, 4.7K, E) - PWP. I wasn't sure what type of recs you were looking for, so I thought I would try and find you a PWP to cover all bases. I admittedly have not been reading a lot of those these days, so apologies for cheating and going back to August. This one honestly is a combo of incredibly hot, and really interesting character choices that fit piarles soooo well. It's the perfect culmination of the tension between two roommates who are obviously down bad for each other and have been dealing with that issue in different ways.

you haven’t seen osamu miya since you graduated from cooking school together ten years ago. if it wasn’t for the raging mutual crush you had on each other, you would’ve been the fiercest of rivals– with him somehow always coming out on top (😏). he was handsome and ambitious and absolutely brilliant then, and it broke your heart when he moved back home after graduation to open an onigiri restaurant in his hometown. 

you come to find out that osamu’s supposed to be on rest, well actually his right wrist is, for that matter, because he’s been overworking himself in the kitchen trying to keep his business operating at the highest possible standard.. while refusing to hire more help than he already has (which isn’t very much). and in typical osamu fashion, instead of actually resting for a while, he chose to take a little road trip in his pickup truck to pay a visit to the person he used to call his muse, the inspiration for his vibrant, innovative flavors–you. 

and how do you find this out? osamu shows up at your high-end, city-style restaurant during the dinner rush and asks to speak to the chef so that he can give them his thanks and praise. he orders something that isn’t on the menu– something you used to make him when the summers tasted more like marmalade and less like a hard day’s work, something you used to make him when things were much more simple and when you didn’t take yourself so seriously. 

but before you can be reminded of summers past, you have to talk to the customer who ordered something that isn’t on the menu during the dinner rush first. and call him a bastard while he’s on the other side of the kitchen door.
