After the Doug-less turmoil the fandom was spun into yesterday I am choosing to see this as A Sign, or a Good Omen if you like.

✨We did it guys! After two long grueling years, we FINALLY reached 200 followers! ✨

So seeing that DTIYS are usually a tradition when celebrating a milestone, I decided to host my own DTIYS, there is no deadline, anyone can participate, and it’s not a competition. One of the best moments in Cabin Pressure has got to be the bird strike in St Petersburg. Because for all the other times when Martin gets panicky or Douglas gives him a hard time, when they were put in an actual dangerous situation, Martin could handle it and Douglas trusted him to handle it.

They really went from a very sarcastic "...you have control..." in Douz

to a simple, trusting "ok" said with so much fatherly love

The fact that they gave Dusty one (1) scene with dialogue this season and then went “sooo with Ca$h, yeah?" really. fucking. tickles me.

Everyone's 'how i got into orv story' is either just 'uh i read the webtoon and then i wanted to read the novel' or 'there was this one guy who happened to knock into this other guy on the sidewalk who got really angry and poured water all over the head of the next person they saw (me) causing me to accidentally mistype and pop onto a random web novel website which I promptly clicked off of and forgot about for 8 months until a friend of a friend of a friend mentioned it in passing at my mother's cousin's husband's sister's engagement party and told me to check it out in which I still refused to. Then once I finally got into the world of fandom and saw someone mention this other fandom I got onto the web novel website and read a web novel (not ORV) which I then learned had a webtoon which I read and along the way I got sidetracked by a pop up which got my computer hacked and when I went on the webtoon website to file a lawsuit I saw their orv webtoon being promoted. Then I decided to read it because my entire life and career were stolen from me and I had nothing left to lose and from there after I got attached and couldn't wait once per week I read the novel.'

however both of these are nothing like my 'how i got into orv story' which is definitely somewhere in the middle

but those who know of it, would find both of these oddly and somehow hauntingly akin to mine

This could be a long one, but I was scrolling and I think I saw at least 3 posts of people saying that the Xmas episode of ghosts was too repetitive, using plotines done before and was an overall let down. Sure, we've seen mike’s parents being too involved before, and we've seen the ghosts being absolute pains before but I think that was the charm of the episode. The episode had all of the highlights of the series and l think that it was the perfect way to say goodbye- just a regular episode for the most of it, while still letting us say bye to the characters that we love so much. I'm glad that no one was sucked off but also glad that it wasn't completely a normal episode. I'm glad that they left all of the ghosts to live in button House forever because it leaves us to make up the bits in between, almost like the series isn't really over, because so much more could have happened in the years in between. We can write our own ghost stories for as long as we still love the series, and that was the beauty of the episode. I cried when Alison said they were leaving, because it finally hit me. The series that helped me through a lot of tough times when my grandad died, the series that taught me how to laugh again was really over. And it felt unreal but also achingly real at the same time. Ghosts was a phenomenon, a jewel of pure comedy that will always hold a special place in my heart. I hate that its over but I know that the show couldn't go on.i can't wait to see what will come next. I do, however, wish that the episode had been written by Ben Willbond because that would have torn our hearts out. So, year, l just wanted to share my thoughts on the episode and say how much ghosts really meant to me. I'm sad to see it go, but it had to happen eventually.

Are there also gangs based on the railway companies that own the classes, such as the LNER gang (Gordon, Toby, Alfred, Emily, Molly, Spencer, Whiff)?

Yeah though not by much but it’s also more of it’s like friends groups and subgroups you just mingle together due to similar personalities like with the Farquhar branchline (and that includes the Anopha quarry engines like Mavis and Sonny) an little family plus with the Little Great Western Gang ( this includes Donald and Douglas whenever they visit) or even little railway groups like TL&K coffee pots.

(in all reality, skrank seems like a messy guy in the way teenage boys tend to be. no shade to him, but i will squeeze him so hard his eyes pop out about it)
