transgender men are so fucking cool to me because in a world full of horrible toxic masculinity and the "mindless-hunk-of-meat" culture where being a man is just an endless stressful backbreaking lonesome hell of being a glorified expendable tool, they manage to make masculinity fun. they manage to make it enjoyable. they manage to make being a man something worth wanting to be. it's wonderful and it makes me tear up and smile to see men enjoy being men without the horrible shackles of toxic masculinity sucking the fun out of it.

i think i've nearing a 1 year and 3 or 4 months, and i still feel like doin it sometimes. hell i think ta only reason i haven't broken my record is i don' have anythin i feel comfy usin and my pain tolerance is too low ta just use my nails (that really fuckin hurt neva again god) plus also now i got dysphoria over my blood not bein gold?

i'm ramblin-

point is that it's perfectly okay, it's not some moral failing or some shit if ya do decide to sh. none of us are gonna think any less of ya or anything like that, especially since it seems a lot of us are havin the same or a similar struggle.

But thank you. I’m mainly just worried about what’ll happen if I do relapse. I was threatened to be sent to a mental institution back in middle school by my parents if they ever caught me doin it again. I’m scared what they’ll do if the found out I relapsed since then, and if I did so now. I’m also scared of what might become of myself. If I relapse I fear I’ll just spiral even further into the self loathing for not being able to reach my goal.

But once again thank you. And I’m so proud of you for lastin as long as ya have.

But one thing I’ll say for you, myself, and everyone else: talk to people. Always, if any of us feel like doing the sh, talk to someone. Whether it’s not even about the sh, talk about something to at least keep ya mind off it. Acknowledge that it’s there, but don’t let it win. Say ‘I’m not going to let you control my actions’ and think about something else, basically telling those thoughts to fuck themselves.

i’ve been thinking about innocuous photos like the one on the left. because it is my job to neglect the sprouts of imperialism and racism that accompanied my upbringing, i've been attempting to find solidarity even in the innocuous. and how easily it comes: marah and i, both schoolgirls who like cute things, both compelled by the desire to photograph our supplies after arranging them to be just-so. the photo on the right is an old one of mine.

i think the answer would be “everything.” maybe you’re united by the love you have for your pets, being fans of the same goth rock band, or the fact that, were something of severity to happen to your family, you’d also be online, asking for help in a way your elders might find it hard to wrap their heads around, and making sure people knew they could trust your campaign.

and if this were a message you were sending, i hope that your hope would remain in tact, because people like us, on the other end, would be doing everything they could to help you.
