He was embraced when he stumbled on his former professor drinking someone’s blood in an alley. The professor thought he was interesting and gave him the option to be embraced or have his memory wiped, and he chose the former. About a week later, his Sire disappeared under mysterious circumstances :D (and all of this is subject to change if i think of a better origin story because it has nothing to do with the plot lol. I wanted a different embrace from the canonical one in vtmb because Niko doesn’t usually do one night stands)

Other facts: he’s a masochist but in denial about it (he’s in denial about a lot of things)
