its ya girl , brianna bora bang !! aka bree !! daughter of hephaestus and one of the smiths who works in the forge .

growing up, bree’s childhood was relatively calm and uneventful. she was raised by her single-mother, who worked as a mechanic and though they didn’t have much , her mom still managed to get by , supporting them both the best she could. :’))

tbh, bree didn’t think a lot about her family’s financial situation when she was little. though, with that said, she was a bit of a pain.

not because she asked for, or constantly wanted material things, but rather, from a young age she had a knack for taking stuff apart and trying to put them back together again. fascinated by figuring out how certain devices worked.

that habit eventually turned into bree taking things around the house, and makings ‘ improvements’ or crafting something completely new with the different parts she’d collected from items lying about.

her mother living pay check to paycheck , was certainly in awe of brianna’s talents, but the young girl’s creative outlet definitely caused some strESS !!

as one can imagine, she got in a lot of trouble as a kid. having a bit of a mischievous streak coupled along with her curious and imaginative tendencies. her mom wasn’t too happy when she came home to find the vacuum deconstructed , with brianna claiming there was a certain component she needed for the jet pack she was planning on creating

throughout her life, bree was always gathering attention, whether is was due to her odd personality, or the things she was creating. however she was especially attracting people’s attention when it came to the science fairs she enjoyed participating in while she’d been in elementary and middle school --- bringing something completely unexpected to ANNIHILATE ( as she would say ) the competition.

but, brianna created so much buzz, it wasn’t uncommon for her to end up in local news papers as a young ‘genuis’.

one time, even recruits from MIT came to check out to see what all the talk had been about.

when expressing their interest in her, her mother politely declined their offers. thinking bree may have been too young to consider making decisions like that at the time.

[ yet, because of the news circulating bree, nl had been another group to approach her mom, along with hephaestus in hopes to provide brianna a safe haven from the potential threat of monsters (etc.), though her mother also refused that offer at the time ]

SO basically, bree just vibed through her early years creating a bit of mischief and making cool stuff with her handy dandy tool box ( or more like her mom’s tool box lmfao)

she went about every day life as a regular kid, completely unaware of her relation to hephaestus until she neared the age of sixteen.

as she got a bit older, her mother fell in love with a pretty well-off guy who worked as an developmental engineer for the united states milt.. they got married and brianna then had a new step father in her life. despite him being much more strict with her. more than what her mom had ever been , they all got along pretty well. more than anything , bree was jus happy for her mom.

and, it was a plus that they weren’t struggling as much as they originally had been thanks to his financial help.

however, due to an unfortunate turn of events , and a christmas tree having caught fire; their house burnt down. her mom and her stepfather were rescued by the fire department. unfortunately the same couldn’t be said for bree. watching the house engulfed in flames, they worried frantically about their daughter who’d still been trapped inside. but when bree had escaped through the fire by herself , uninjured and not suffering any burns whats so ever. her step-father , along with the fire fighters that had come to help , were hELLA FREAKED OUT.

her step-dad was straight up like, i don’t fuk w demons.

and it was after the incident that her mother finally revealed the truth to bree about her biological father, and eventually gave her the option of going to nemean lion. which was information brianna’s mom had for quite some time, but had chosen to keep it to herself , simply cause she wasn’t 100% comfortable with bree leaving her so young.

THANK GOODNESS THEY NEVER EXPERIENCED A MONSTER ATTACK.

though with what had happened, and her step father’s reaction, bree and her mother came to the agreement that it was probably best if she left for nl.

she eventually moved in after a couple months of trying to make things work at home ( a compromise she made with her mom ). it didn’t work out sadly, and as soon as she turned sixteen, brianna became an official resident at the hotel. having stayed at nemean until now !!

when she first got to nl she pretty much just embraced the change. throwing herself into training and what not, trying to figure out where her place was , all that teenage stuff. ‘tryina find urself uwu’ .

AND she did go on missions quite a bit before the change happened !! having enjoyed tagging along to make some extra money, but her obvious calling was always at the forge.

brianna now and before, has always had a reputation for walking around nl trying to convince people to give her latest weapons or gadgets a go !!

before the change happened at nl, bree was sorta all over the place. ( A MESS !! ) but her goals have become more focused thanks to entering the technology track. so once again, she embraced change with open arms.

she’s totally digging the improvement that nemean lion has made.

after graduating from her track relatively fast; working on stuff is what she mainly does nowadays.

she’s most often found at the forge. cause when she gets an idea, she’s gotta get it done. she has no chill.

yeah, brianna is smart. but on the highkey, she’s only really knowledgeable in her field of expertise.

SO, SHE DOES HAVE THAT CHAOTIC STUPID ENERGY COURSING THROUGH HER VEINS. if you ask her to do something dumb, she more then likely is gonna be down / say yes. skdjlfsjd

though bree isn’t necessarily materialistic, she is kinda obsessed with money, and making money. $$$$🤑🤑 part of it has to do with not having had much growing up, and she wants that security YA KNO. but also , she doesn’t feel totally comfortable asking her mom/step-dad for money. so she out here making her own!!

money is a big motivator for her.

overall, brianna is a brash, outgoing, oddball who is incredibly determined and hardworking.

cause she’s always tryina get that promo, she can come off a bit opportunistic, selfish, and conceited when it comes to her inventions. typically she means well, she’s just a bit on the crazy side.

she has those mad scientist vibes.

the son of athena, and a graduate from the hero track !!

honestly, leo’s life before nl was pretty boring.

he grew up in a super small town and was raised by his grandparents after his dad pretty much bailed .

leo was an incredibly bright kid. he learned to read as well as write at a crazy young age, but because he was brought up by his grandparents his taste pretty much reflected his upbringing. he likes super old music, movies. etc. and he’ prefers considerably less exciting pass times such as reading books or playing games like chess. he always goes for a walk super early in the morning too which is something he picked up from his grandpa.

leo’s grandparents took care him when he was very little, but as leo grew older he found himself returning the favor and instead helping his grandparents as they themselves aged over the years.

no one in his household was aware of leo’s ties to his biological mother athena. mainly cause his father never explained anything before he left the family to be on their own.

leo’s life dramatically changed after he experienced a monster attack when he’d been fifteen years old.

basically some demigods from nemean lion saved the day and thankfully nothing terrible happened. but leo’s identity as a demigod was finally exposed to himself and to his family.

he had a really hard time saying goodbye, as he worried how his grandma and grandpa were gonna do without him. however, he feared putting them in danger above all else.

he was then taken to nl, where he spent his time up until now.

after he was rescued, leo couldn’t help but look up to the others who regularly went on missions and hunted monsters. naturally, he worked hard with the aspiration to be like them.

a lot of that also had to do with why he picked the hero track when the change had come about at nl.

if it wasn’t for moving, leo would have never realized his supernatural abilities. and it was through persistence and intense training that he was able to develop his powers over time, as well as pretty fast.

he has always been incredibly dedicated and disciplined.

tbh he kinda has those old man vibes, even when he first arrived at fifteen.

he takes missions and everything a little too seriously.

he doesn’t really know how to have fun either. so when he is on hero duty, he is super STUBBORN about doing everything by the book. trying not to get too crazy and always wanting to make sure extra precaution is taken.

he’s not about them risk. he really wants to ensure that there’s little to no damage that will be done if he can help it.

comes off grumpy most of the time, but it’s like 95% bc he kinda just sucks when it comes to people.

social interaction is not his thing which is why he could have NEVER gone into the ambassador track lmfao.

LEO IS A RULE FOLLOWER, NOT A BREAKER.

though he’s diligent, responsible and honest, he can also be EXTREMELY gullible, too straightforward, and at times, come off as nagging or bossy.

overall, he just wants justice, and to ensure things are done right. but he’s not the best communicator, so instead of being diplomatic about it, a lot of the time he’s just like, ‘i’m right, you’re wrong’dkjsldjf

11. If they could make a mark on history, what would they like it to be?

I actually just wrote a passage kind of about this! Matthias doesn't expect that he'll do anything to be remembered by, he really doesn't see himself as the hero of his own story, but he's sure that Dmitri (his boyfriend) is going to be great, and he would be happy to just be a footnote in Dmitri's story. He just wants it to be remembered someday that he loved him, and he was there, that's enough for him and he expects and really wants nothing more

30. When frightened, do they resort to "fight" or "flight?"

Flight. Matthias knows he can't win a fight, it's almost a trauma response really that that will not be his instinct

39. What does their happily ever after look like?

Picture this: he lives on a small island on the Baltic sea. His family is there and so is Dmitri's family, and they get along just fine and none of them are weird about his relationship, they've all come to peaceful terms. Him and Dmitri wear matching rings and go sailing together sometimes, and the water is always perfect. There are no more Nazis, that problem solved itself, and nothing bad happens ever again

But he knows that will never happen so right now all he's asking is that the Nazis go away and everyone leaves him and Dmitri alone

50. How would you describe their style of clothing? How would they describe their style of clothing?

Matthias dresses like he doesn't think about it, and he really should. He wears all the same clothes he's been wearing for years, and some of them are really starting to show it. Like his pants, he's quite tall and most of them are a little too short now, and have been too short for a long time. He also wears lots of sweaters and sweater vests that were normally knitted by his mother or his grandmother, and they're all lovely work, but he wears them so much through so much activity that many of them are starting to unravel at the ends but he doesn't really care. Also sometimes he borrows Dmitri's clothes because he never thinks ahead and brings enough when he visits

If he were to describe his own style I don't even know what he would say, he would probably just admit he wears whatever his mother gave him and leave it at that

57. How do they feel about sex? Are they a virgin?

Matthias is not a virgin, and he likes sex, but he's had a hard time with it in the past. His first time was with his childhood friend when he was fifteen, and it was very weird because neither of them knew that much what they were doing, though Peter seemed to know a bit more than maybe he should have, and it was under this strange pretense of like "ok but no homo. We're just trying it, right? It doesn't make us queer" cause they were both fucking terrified. And then that one had consequences not long after, when Peter's older brother beat Matthias up and broke his nose

He didn't sleep with anyone at all for a good while after that, but eventually he did again when he was in Sweden with some guy he met, and that was physically a better experience, but damnit Matthias is emotional. He's a romantic. This wasn't really enough

And then he met Dmitri. And the first time they slept together he was glad about it, and it was good, especially since Dmitri so easily took the lead cause Matthias needs that, but he was also so so worried that that would be it, that this was all Dmitri wanted from him and he would never see him again. But it wasn't, and he still feels so lucky because he really loves Dmitri

For a long time he also had a guilt about sex, which was that good ol' internalized homophobia, where normally right after he'd have to sit there and be like "I'm a horrible, awful, disgusting person. What would my mother say? What would my grandparents say? I wasn't made for this, it's sinful, what's wrong with me??" And though some of that is still there in the back of his mind, because it's very hard to get rid of, it's eased a lot in the time he's been with Dmitri, because he loves him, he's completely in love, and how could that be wrong? And also because his religious views are starting to change because of the things Dmitri says to him; "what could be more sacred?"

75. If given a blank piece of paper, a pencil, and nothing to do, what would happen?

He would probably just write a letter. Letters to Dmitri when they're not together almost take the role of a diary for him; he'd just start writing one of those about whatever was happening right then. If nothing was happening, hell, "dear Dmitri, I found this paper and I love you."

Or maybe he'd put it in his pocket to hold onto in case he needed it later. He does worry about being unprepared for things

HEWWO EVERYBODY IT’S END OF YEAR RECAP TIME WITH ME: UR PAL ARDO

First of all if ur reading this, merry christmas if u celebrate it and happy holidays if u don’t!!! Y’all are amazing people and I hope this time of year is a good one for you, and if it’s not I hope you find the time to do smth nice for urself!!

Dam this year has been crazy tho. I mean if ur dash is anything like mine you’ve prob seen all those posts talking about how long this year has felt re: the sheer amount of stuff happening. But on a more individual level there’s some stuff I wanna say I guess so in no particular order here is my Thoughts™ coz there’s been some good, some bad, and some weird this year.

So, this year has been a kind of wild one for me in terms of things changing. The big one being that I started university and kinda lost contact with most of my pals from high school. All goods tho, coz I met some amazing new people thru tabletop gaming who idk if I’m at the friends point with yet, but I defo wanna try and get there coz they’re cool as heck. It’s true what people say that starting university is a big change coz DAM things have been wild and hopefully are gonna keep being wild next year espc coz one of my online friends is moving down to start at my university and I’m super excited to meet her in person!! Speaking of meeting people in person I finally got to hang out with @chipmunkwithwings at her place and that was one of the highlights of my year for sure! She’s a super cool person and that week was just utterly brilliant.

Anyways while we’re on the topic of friends this year sure has been exciting for that as well. I’ve made some amazing new ones, gotten closer with some older ones, had some drift apart and thru it all I’ve learnt something important. Namely that, there’s nothing wrong with the friends I had before, but I’ve felt so much better and it’s just been so much healthier for me now I’ve also started pursuing and focusing on friendships with people around my age. It sounds weird to say, but despite having a good collection of close friends there was a part of me that was lonely, and that part has kinda stopped being so much now not all my friends are 10ish years older than me.

That’s one thing I’ve discovered, but this year has been a big one for discovery for me. I tried a bunch of different papers and found out that I hate international relations and love philosophy. I’ve started learning Swedish!! And probably the biggest and most important discovery: thanks to my friends telling me “dude you really need to do this” I’ve gotten on anti-depressants!!! Which have really been helping me so much. That’s probably.... my biggest regret is that I didn’t get on them a few years ago. Still, I’m on them now and my head is just working so much better. Also, and I’ve talked about this in an earlier post so if you wanna kno deets you can go read it, I properly I guess remembered? stopped repressing? how a friend abused me a few years ago and started working thru the issues I have because of that.

At this point I’m gonna put things under a cut coz this is where shit is gonna get long.

Some letters, to the people I’ve known this year. I know a LOT of people so I’m prob gonna not mention anyone so if I don’t mention you: I love y’all. Ur so so fucking brilliant all of u and I’m honored to know you and to have had this chance to be in contact with y’all. I’m deeply sorry for any way I might have wronged you over this year, and if any of you wronged ME I forgive you entirely. If any of you haven’t really talked to me, but want to; or if we’ve drifted outta contact and you wanna pick things back up or ANYTHING at all feel free to msg me anytime. I know I’m not always active in our server, but trust me that it’s nothing on you. I’ve enjoyed every moment hanging out with you guys. Or well, most of them at least :P. We have the wildest conversations and trust me, I wouldn’t have it any other way. I know some of you guys have had a hard time this year and I’m so sorry that you guys are going thru that shit coz y’all deserve so much better. It’s my deepest hope that next year is a good one for all of you and if there’s every anything I can do you guys know where to find me. I love you so so so so so much and I hope these last few days of 2018 are as good for you as they can possibly be.

To the people of Eff’s servers. You guys are super duper cool. Being salty with y’all is so much fun and also so deeply annoying that people keep pulling this shit that we gotta be salty about. I love the fact that we can go from shitty meme posting (usually my fault) to having in depth n thoughtful conversations about just about anything (hopefully usually not my fault). Y’all are amazing people and it feels like you’ve all found urselves a bit more this year, which I’m so happy for you about.

To Sakshi. That’s right, u get an individual one. Ur like, my hero. Srsly dude the fact that ur so fucking patient with the utter dumbasses msging you and that u started this whole deep conversation that ur not backing down from? I’m so proud of you, I admire you so much, and you have my utmost support. Hmu if you ever need me to drag someone for you. Also i’m sorry to out you as a gamer to the fine people of tumblr dot com (actually I’m not that sorry) but it’s been so much fun playing swtor with you. And salt watching things with you. I love how fun our friendship is and also how we can have proper deep conversations like 10/10 A+ content.

To Teri. Wow. I never thought I’d be saying ur name again. Well typing, but w/e. That first year we were friends was so fucking good and I’m glad we had that, coz you were a pretty cool person. I dunno why you decided to change all that and start hurting me and I’m probably never gonna understand but you know what? That’s ok. I don’t need to. You hurt me, I got out. I’m not sure, but I think you were being hurt by people as well and I hope you got out like I did. No matter how badly you treated me you still don’t deserve to be abused urself. Nobody deserves that. I don’t know if I forgive you, and I don’t know if I ever will, but I hope things are better for you now. I’m sorry for the times I wronged you while we were friends. This isn’t me saying I deserved to be abused by you, because I sure as hell didn’t, but well. Two wrongs don’t make a right and ur abuse doesn’t magically erase the times I wasn’t the greatest friend. Theory : What if Aizawa was the current number 2 hero ?

First things first : thank you for existing, your blog is awesome ! Your fics bring me life, they’re amazing !! :)

Second thing, i would like to suggest you a theory, if you don’t mind. Feel free to add stuff or criticize too, I would love your opinion ! ((Also, sorry if it already has been done… but I think (read hope) not.)) –Also this is not a meme :/ –

Oh boy… here we go :

What if Aizawa was the current number 2 hero ?

So, this might seem a bit out the blue, but please, hear me out.

Let’s take things chronologically. We meet our fave sleepless man pretty early on, first as class 1-A’s main teacher. We then learn that he’s a hero going by the name of EraserHead. A few points are highlight about his “alter-ego” : his quirk momently erase one’s quirk, his identity is mostly kept a secret, he’s an underground hero, and he uses his anonymity as a strategy linked to his quirk and his fight style.

From those few informations, we can already assume a few things.

One, his quirk is really, really powerful. At that point of the series, we only saw villains use their quirk, and no guns, no weapons. They fully rely on their quirk, which means that without it, they’re pretty much defenseless, and that gives us an idea of how powerful Aizawa really is. Second, his anonymity is essential. If villains know about him, they’ll begin to take measures and arm themselves, which is obviously bad. That last point is confirmed in the USJ arc, where we learn a bit more about his quirk. It obviously has a limit. Where Aizawa is able to kick everyone’s asses in the middle of the USJ, he’s powerless. And that might lead us to think that he’s not that strong, but ! Nomu is a weapon that falls in the small category Aizawa cannot do anything against, and it’s able to face the n°1 hero so obviously, that doesn’t make it fair.

With that, I think I made it clear our tired hero can very well be in the ranking. But the best clues come from after the camping arc, at Bakugo’s rescue. What bugged me about that moment was the fact that we literally see all the top 5 heros (aka All Might, Endeavor, Best Jeanist and Edgeshot the ninja dude) besides the n°3. To explain it, we have two options : one, his quirk/fight style requires him to stay unknown, as the fact he never was mentioned would make us believe ; or two, he can’t be there. And well, Aizawa is -one- an underground hero and -two- he owes parents/journalists/people an explanation for the camping attack and must attend the conference ! That would explain the weird blank in the top 5, without it being “well, they have to keep heros to protect the rest of the city !” because that doesn’t make any sense, especially since the n°4 and n°5 heroes have already been asked to come.

Another thing I would add to the clue-list is Aizawa’s presence in Eri’s rescue mission. There’s already a lot of reasons for him to come : his erasure quirk, his dadzawa attitude… But I would like to add one. Personally, I found odd the fact that no hero from the top 5 came. I get that there already were two high ranked heroes, and that it was a stealth mission (so alleluia, no Endeavor) but I mean… Eri is basically a child with the power to ERASE YOUR QUIRK FOREVER if she’s in wrong hands ! So next to Bakugo, who is a kid with strong powers but who won’t ever join the villains, I know where I would have sent the most powerful heroes… So in my opinion, it would make a lot of sense if Aizawa was sent to this mission not only as Dadzawa or Eraserhead but also as the now number 2 hero.

I think I made the best case I could, but if you still don’t believe me, here’s one last thing :

Aizawa could have kicked All For One’s ass all by himself.

From his fight with All Might, we can tell AFO has some pretty hardcore quirks. But we can also see that all those quirks work by activation ; plus, even if he had some mutation quirk, it wouldn’t always be active since we don’t see him affect by any of those, and so, it would be working just like an activation quirk. And with that, we can assume they could all be erased by one glance of our hero, leaving AFO as quirkless as Deku was in the beginning of the serie. The only issue Aizawa could have faced would be the nomus, but any high ranked hero with the good ability could have taken care of them, while All Might would be not-dying, as well as Best Jeanist.

That’s why you should always carry your n°3 hero Eraserhead with you.

But more honestly, I think it would be a great surprise for the story, and that our little Aizawa would highly deserve it.

Hey ur English was just good bro! Personally I think it’d be really neat if Aizawa was the no.3 hero (currently) but I don’t think that’s very likely.

1. I think the rankings of heroes is also based on their general popularity with everyone else, and if he WAS no. 3, more people would have heard of him, bc u kno SOMEONE woulda doxxed the hell out of that. being included in rankings at all messes with him being an underground hero and its p unconventional for him

2. there were already high-ranked heroes on that mission, and they needed him to erase the quirks of the people. if I’m remembering correctly they didn’t know eri’s quirk at the time, and if they did, it’s not like they were expecting to FIGHT eri. they just wanted to rescue her. also lbr I’m. p sure aizawa was only in that arc so he could keep deku from. dying

3. I don’t think Aizawa could have kicked AFO’s ass. I’m not sure he would be able to erase every quirk AFO has ever harnessed. If he erased AFO’s quirk, one of several things could happen:

a.) it could erase ALL of the quirks he has

b.) it would only erase the quirk he was CURRENTLY utilizing

c.) it would erase his original quirk, but he still has all the others

or d.) it would erase his original quirk THUS rendering all the other quirks useless

it’s a hit and miss situation w/ AFO tbh!

all in all this was a really interesting theory!!! thank u!!!!

mx in sg: the experience

FHJGDGHSHGFGGHD as usual starting off with the keyboard smash anyway! ill be talking about my experience seeing mx live yesterday (3/3) second part is abt when mx were on stage but its quite dry bc i dont remember much

ill be going in chronological order so [jooheon voice] lets get it

i was gonna meet my friend (karissa) at 3:30 because we were going to meet the person selling us our tickets at 4pm but that got delayed until like 5pm which was fine though

anyway i met her and we started queueing because although official queuing was supposed to start at 6pm they pushed it forward to 3pm (which was unfortunate for those who were busy and couldnt come until much later - the organizer never released an official statement saying the queuing started earlier)

so as soon as karissa and i arrived at like. the place (near the venue) we got lost for about a whole 5 minutes lmao so i texted james asking him where the hell . they were and we made it and joined the queue immediately (we were the last few people of the second batch)

we just sat there and. collected freebies and our banners (for the fan events) while we waited for the seller to come give us our tickets

when they came i was like . fucking screaming because one of the seller was someone i knew from primary school (4 years ago) and i was likeudghdgghdhsh??????? that was the highlight of the daydhfhs

after we bought the tickets and shit we were slightly concerned they wouldnt work lmao but they did god bless

while we waited for the doors to open and stuff a group of people did dance covers of mx songs and later other groups too everyone was cheering for them which was nice fgfghdgh

the hype died down and we just waited quietly until it hit 6pm and i started listening to the day6 stream LMAO but after 4 songs i had to stop because suddenly everyone was standing up??

for nothing though because we sat down like 30 minutes later at around 7? 7:30? everyone stood up again and this time people were given wrist tag things u kno.. ya there were three (?) kinds i think gold for those who held a superfan ticket, pink for general admission and some other colour for those who got tickets for free and could sit on chairs dhdghs

it was a free standing event in an outdoor space so superfan ticket holders got to stand closer to the stage? and those with general admission had to stand behind us and it was separated by a barricade

we entered at like 8pm because we were the second batch (there was a third batch behind us) and it was already filled?? not exactly but from where we were standing we couldn’t really see the stage

in the end we were in the middle which wasnt exactly the best but its definitely better than those standing all the way at the back rip

i think at like 7:45 they started playing the music videos and everyone was shouting the lyrics it was cute i loved it but my throat told me to die after i yelled for like all of their mvsjhdgdghd

also when all in played u bet my ass i jumped up and downdhg

also water wasnt allowed inside which i think is normal so i chugged mine down as fast as i could before entering (i had a little left and the lady let me in with it thanks queen) (i drank it all before they even came on stage)

the hype was real though and it was great

when it hit 8:30pm the introduction video started and suddenly i was getting pushed forward and wow . dont go if ur not a fan of people invading your personal bubble. i wish fans had more sense to Not push around and stuff but what can we do rip

other than that when they came out oh gOD when they came out i was likebfhgddgs??!?!??!?! i had to stand on my tip toes to see them

they started with beautiful and i was liek. dissociating i jsut sang along and shit it was amazing??????

the first person i saw was kihyun and then minhyuk?? i dont remember who else i saw but iw ss losing my fucking mind over how good everyone looked

anyway after that was um.............. fuck. .... i dont know..........

also during white love they made us do that one part u know the one and it was awesome!!!!! during white sugar they threw m&m’s and i got to get a good look at their faces without having to look at the screen!!

also when they flashed the first win part they started throwing hands @ each other usual mx shit dhjgsgd

we chanted monsta x and they chanted monbebe back at us :-( i love them

i think changkyun said he doesnt wnat to do another season of mxray LMAODHFGHHGS fucking loser

some examples: “hair” Gghdhg and some fans (including me) screamed cucumberhjfghgs let this man live

minhyuk also tried to make fun of jooheons drawing but it failed bc none of us understood his joke

so they made us vote by screaming and they each stood up while holding their sketchbooks and we’d scream

winner was changkyun (i yelled my heart out and jumped bitch)

they did oppaya and i think there are fancams somewhere

then they made wonho do it hhdggs best 1 minute of my life

after that was uhh??????? brain machine broke i dont know im not even going in order anymore

if so the fan videos were of fans talking about how much they love/appreciate mx and it was sweet after that we raised our banners for the fan vid

and then the CAKE came for wonho and we sang happy birthday to wonho (kihyun asked us to sing once too at the start hjdghgsg we did that in english this time it was in korean)

also funny hfgdhgs thing... they talked in korean and a lot of people replied in korean so they got shockedhfgh FUCJ DAY6 ok safe im listening now

DON'T DWELL ON THE PAST // ( i'm not even sure if i'm sticking to this [ looks @ admins nervously ] so things might change up if it doesn't fall w/ the right timeline. ) ( forgive the length the muse is real )

born on october 31st, 1995 ( happy halloween ) in deadtree, rocky was an entirely healthy baby received with much love by his mother and with some hesitance by his father. all he knew was how to shit and cry and life was a paradise, until eventually the months started rolling by that became three years and his mother was in a freak car accident that left her paralyzed from the waist down and with a bad case of major head trauma.

rocky still firmly believes that she woke up from her coma by god's will even if her basic executive function skills and self-regulations were gone. she had to be taken care of just like him, and the doctor's promised she'd learn to eat on her own again and her speech problems would regulate. this... did not happen. maybe it would've, if she had lived longer, but rocky never got to see the day when he didn't have to help his mom bathe or brush her hair.

his dad was the only source of income in the household besides his mom's monthly pension that the man would take and then disappear for days. he was bitter about having to raise rocky all on his own and even more bitter about the hefty hospital bills they were going to be paying off for the next several years. all the man wanted to do was laze about with a beer in his hand and a blunt in the other.

from early on he was prone to anger and it often manifested itself physically, so rocky would always have a bruise or two somewhere on his body. it was fine as long as the man wasn't hurting his mom, and he couldn't do anything else but accept the rough treatment.

he and his mom were becoming more and more neglected by his father, who only provided the bare minimum to eat and took his wife's pills for himself. rocky was already in school and he was that kid who always got off the bus running to get home. no one knew that he always ran to make sure his mom was okay while he was gone.

he was nine years old when his dad handed him a bottle of morphine and explained to him that the whole bottle would help his mom get a good night's sleep for once. rocky, knowing how much his mom struggled to rest, took the bottle and put each and every pill in his moms hand and watched her drink them until the last one. she did go to sleep, of course. rocky thought he'd done good until she didn't wake up the next morning.

he grew incredibly distant from his dad after this. he was already used to taking care of himself and his mom was the only reason he really bothered to make it home early, so after her death he got into every after-school activity he could manage, and when it wasn't enough, he ran around the streets with the older kids and pretended to be *cool*.

he started dabbling with the drug scene really early on in middle school, when he realized that his dad would never strive to be anything else but a piece of shit, so he decided to steal his pills and weed just like the man had stolen his mothers medication. he would sell them to his upperclassmen and never took any for himself because he saw what they could do, though eventually he did weed in high school and besides the occasional dose of ecstasy he doesn't do more than that.

one day, at age seventeen, he went home and his dad was gone. he waited for three weeks before he sold everything and fixed up a small abandoned house that became his new abode. with the cash he'd gotten from the car and the furniture he began growing his own hella dank nug, and eventually there was word on the streets about it. his dad had always been his unaware provider, but soon enough rocky joined a group as a dealer while selling his own stuff on the side.

he didn't want to follow under someone else so he got to the roots and offered the group's providers a better deal and eventually the business was going to him alone. people saw more opportunity with him and they flocked to his side one by one until he ran the original leader to the ground. honestly this kid was hella good in school and just as good in the streets.

of course it didn't happen without a fight tho so talk about several near-death experiences !! the streets are dangerous children stay in school.

fast forward, he had what he intensely regrets with elaine-- honestly had a good time dating a rich ‘good’ girl until he got real bad vibes from her and it wasn't chill anymore. felt real personally attacked that she was ashamed of him and broke it tf off. fuck a fake bitch !!

( me: plays hero by enrique iglesias for this section ) and then shiloh came ! his lord and savior. his fkcing BAE. would do ANYTHING for this boy is2g makes me so emo i'm shAKING just thinking about it. rocky truly believes this boy is his soul mate. he loves him so much oh my godfjsdh.

at this point his drug ring wasn't at all what it is now. it was relatively small and the profits weren't all that good but he was doing what he could. he had steady members who had been with him since the start and shiloh became an addition along with his best girl giselle and (eventually) barbara. honestly the dream squad nothing could stop them they were invisible. unfortunately there was a snake in their ranks and goddamn he's glad she showed herself honestly good fucking riddance barbie. he felt real betrayed after she left but if anything he thinks it made his crew tighter and stronger. still hates tht bitch tho afTER EVERYTGIH HE DID FOR HER.

( to be 10/10 honest tho rocky is a manipulative bastard and he thinks he's real slick but barbie caught on and he feels extremely attackt )

anyways so knowing that shiloh and giselle are his tru ride or die pals ( 👀 @ giselle ) the business continues and they're still the dream squad. sure they're doing shady af things and they've always been doing them but u kno what they say there ain't no rest for the wicked !!

he didn't at all like the fact tht shiloh pursued an internship w/ the mulani family but he tried to keep it chill because he loves and supports his bae but honestly could not do it. he doesn't personally pay too many visits to sycamore city precisely bc he goddamn loathes the mulani and moon families after all they've done to his people ( esp the moon’s ) and to think shiloh was getting involved w/ them really tested him as a person. he fcking failed because of how much shiloh wanted a pass into the city and rocky held him back but he's so goddamn proud of their love like damn. he knows he doesn't offer everything shiloh wants but he's out here tryin' his best to get his bae the life he deserves even if he's the worst street rat and everybody knows it.

just so the squad and ex-squad can get a feel of how rocky runs the ring i'm includin' this here

so rocky makes it a point to be an approachable leader whom you can go to with your problems and he'll have your back 100%. honestly everyone's dad there's no one left out. he keeps his status as the leader not by cruel acts to show what happens to rats but by making sure he's understood by each individual member. he's not the violent type at all unless someone really tests him but this guy preaches that people understand by words and acts of kindness not by violence and torture. he needs loyalty above all else so he offers a safe sanctuary to anyone who needs it. it comes with a price ofc but all he asks is that u do ur job and he'll keep u off the streets. basically in his group everyone has each other's backs and he's involved with everyone, not only because it helps him keep close tabs on everything but because that blanket of safety for his members is very important to him.

when it comes to his dealers he basically lets them do things their own way as long as they're not out there hurting innocent people. he pays by commission so it's really up to the dealers how much they wanna sell and who they wanna sell it to. he doesn't force his own morals onto his peeps so if they wanna sell to junkies who are gonna overdose on their next hit then that's really up to them. he just tries to guide them by telling em' the right things to do even in a shady business like their own.

w/ that being said shiloh is also a huge part of it, being his right hand man and all. rocky isn't all too meticulous or anything fancy like that, so he leaves a lot of decisions up to shiloh and honestly they're both huge dads just running a drug ring fjsiudhfgi

RO YOU’RE A HERO FOR TYPING THAT ENTIRE TITLE OUT!! i still cant believe i made that the title. i sure did do that. i sure, sure did.

so!! i actually had to reread that fic to get a grasp for what i was thinking for this scene. it’s been a while, hasn’t it?? time sure does fly!! my first thought on this is that i now find the change btw nico thumbing her nose @ eli n eli following thru w/ exactly what nico wants to be a little abrupt. if i were to edit this again, id add a little bit more dialogue or some fluff to soften the shift. i do think i accomplished what i set out to do in the end, though!! in my opinion, nicoeli has a very different charge from nozonico or nozoeli. i wanted to convey that difference as clearly as i could. i made sure to write them to be a little more playful with each other and a lot more overtly flirtatious than i would b if i were writing for the other two 3rd year mono ships. this particular exchange draws from the subunit SIF episode quite a bit!! i always thought their interactions in that medium to b so enthralling; the only word to describe eli when she’s w nico in the game is adorable. they play off each other in a way you wouldn’t expect if u only look @ the persona they project. but when they’re together, eli lets herself b silly and playful and almost childish, and nico is Validated^(TM) for who she is because eli showers her in compliments. they’re comfortable enough to b silly with each other, but also sincere!! that’s what i had in mind when i wrote this scene. by this point in the NicoEli Timeline, they’re settled enough to b romantic in front of each others’ families, to tease n make fun of each other, and also to b awkward n flustered w/o it dampening the warmth between them. i wanted to show off that particular NicoEli flair (they’re so gross n flirty. listen i kno nozoeli often fills that role for most LL fans but nicoeli would make those two look Tame. this is the couple that makes u wanna cover ur ears n gag bc of the sheer level of PDA), n also make the point that of all the other muse members, eli is one of The Most likely to take nico @ her word when she’s being Nico n praise her for it. i still remember that eli-elicchi thing!! i havent forgotten!! the setting of this was also deliberate; this domestic setting is The Least charged situation that i could think of, but nicoeli are still so into each other regardless. that contrast rlly helped make my point n gave nicoeli a backdrop that i didn’t have to elaborate too much on, bc they’re both already so comfortable in it. it highlights just how close they are, dont u think?i used way too many words to say “eli’s being kashikoi” n “nico’s a little lovey dovey gremlin” HAHAHA but i hoped it was entertaining!! thanks for sending in an ask ^^/

Pairing: AJ Styles x Shane McMahon

Summary: Shane's thankful to be back home and safe after his crash-landing in the helicopter, but someone's still worried about him...

Notes: Shane/AJ are my FAVES, and I've wanted to write current-day versions for a while - mainly inspired by anons with @llowkeys (QUEEN), and the frickin' fantastic Shane/AJ fic writers of the world.

(P.S. stylescoalition has already written a wonderful 'copter crash fic on aO3, and it's awesome, and anyone who hasn't read it should read it right now. Because it's SO GOOD)

P.S. I’m sleepy so this might be full of typos, tbh.

Warnings: Adultery, and language, and Daniel Bryan being a bit of a prick (I’m sticking with calling him Daniel Bryan). Also, maybe typos.

‘jus had to get in a helicopter didn’t u’

Shane got the text at around 11, while snuggled up behind his wife in front of the TV, safe. After his ‘adventure’ in the helicopter today, she’d been terrified, angry, but – finally – relieved that he came home in one piece to her and the boys. He’d spent the last few hours alternately hugging and being hugged by his family, before getting the boys to calm down and sleep. She’d wanted to be close to him ever since then, tucked under his arm with her head on his chest, listening to his heartbeat. He’d squeezed her tight and silently thanked God it hadn’t been more serious. He felt so, so stupid.

And talking of stupid, seems like AJ had heard about the helicopter’s crash-landing now too, and had decided to stick on ‘angry’.

But then, AJ was always angry now.

Shane can’t stop himself from thumbing in, ‘Who is this? I don’t recognise the number’.

That was pissy, but AJ makes him pissy. Stupid, hard-headed idiot man, getting in touch now just to piss him off. Shane’s not allowed to talk to him, even look at him, and AJ texts him tonight?

“Honey, you’re tensing up – you okay? Thinking about it? You’re not okay, are you?”

“I’m fine, I’m fine – don’t worry. Just, messages from work.”

“Now?! They can’t leave you alone for one night – after what happened today? I’m calling your stupid stubborn father–”

“No! Just, calm down – I need... I need some calm tonight. I don’t want to think. Please.”

She sighs and searches his face for the truth of that, and finds it. It settles her again. She doesn’t pick up on the kind of thinking he actually wants to avoid. Such as, thinking about the stupid man who’s blowing up his phone.

‘u kno full well who this is, don’t be a prick shane.’

Aha. Shane’s the prick. Right.

‘Ah – AJ, right? The last time we talked without a script you told me to put you out of my head – I did. Now, go away and leave me alone with my wife. That’s what you wanted, isn’t it? Me with my wife, playing happy families? I am. So, go back to being sullen and silent – you’re good at that. Leave me alone, like I’ve left you alone.’

He’s tensing up again, and she can feel it. So he strokes her hair, tucked under his chin. Always pretending, always hiding how he feels...

When the phone vibrates again, so fast, he knows AJ’s pissed.

‘oh, ur wife and family huh – family man now. Maybe u shld have thought abt them and the people u’d be leaving behind when u got into that crappy helicopter’

‘And what is that to you, how I travel, or my safety? Shouldn’t you be spending time with YOUR family, Allen? Instead of worrying about me?’

‘don’t call me allen’

‘Fuck you, Allen.’

‘fuck u shane u selfish ass’

“Do you want to go to bed, sweetheart? Maybe you should get some sleep, turn off the phone?”

It starts ringing, “P1” flashing on the screen. He rejects the call and turns the phone off.

“Sounds like a good idea, let’s go up.”

He can’t avoid this forever. But maybe he can try for a month or so. That’s about how long AJ’s been avoiding him.

Two and a half months ago, on a Tuesday after taping...

"I mean, it's funny, but it's getting kinda weird."

"Yeah... yeah, I guess it is kinda weird…" Shane trails off.

He’s debriefing with Daniel backstage in his office for the night – the corner of a vending machine room, just because it had a desk in it – and they're talking about AJ Styles. Or, more accurately, Shane and AJ Styles, and the way they’ve been interacting since Wrestlemania. He didn't think anyone had picked up on it. Shit.

Shane holds his breath.

“…I think he's taking it too far, like… is he flirting with you? It's weird," Daniel widens his eyes in mock concern.

AJ flirting? Flirting with him? Shane lets his breath out and feels his cheeks heat up in relief that he's not the one being accused of flirting. Then he feels guilty. Then he goes back to feeling relieved again. Okay, back to a little bit of guilty. He needs to throw Daniel completely off the scent that he might pick up any second, even though there isn’t a scent to pick up. No way, nothing. Not from him.

"Well, Daniel, it's just ribbing; we all do it. And you may have noticed this – we’re both married. To women. I think you're trying to stir something because you're bored."

"But, Shane–"

"You know how you get, Daniel,” Shane says wearily. Daniel’s got that impish look he gets when he’s looking to wind things up in the locker room. He’s a nice guy, but not the kind you let see your weak spots.

Luckily, it seems he hasn’t noticed Shane’s weak spot. Yet. Shit, shit, shit.

“Look, don't go around the locker room saying this crap – you're already on the ‘flat-earther’ stuff too much and he's getting crabby about it. Plus, you know he’s… religious."

“Don’t you mean: ‘kind-of a bigot’?”

Shane sighs.

“Did I say that, Daniel?”

“He’s got a reputation.”

“So have you.”

“For what?”

“Being annoying – can you wrap this up; can you do me that kindness?” Shane pinches the skin between his eyes with irritation. But not panic. Shit.

“I need to look over these scripts again. Off you go. Go away, Dan.”

“Hmm, well,” Daniel gets up to leave, with that same ‘I’m going to have to bring this up again, you know’ faux-worry thing he does.

“Stop it, Daniel. Have a good night. Or don’t.”

“Sure thang, sugar-britches,” Daniel gruffs out with a shitty Southern accent.

“You’re very funny,” Shane nods as Daniel finally walks away with a laugh.

“…Jesus.”

Shane allows himself to bang his head down on the desk.

It’s happening. Just what he’s been sweating about and losing sleep over.

Daniel will pick up on how defensive he’s being. Then he’ll notice how Shane has started watching AJ walk away whenever they pass in the hall. Then he’ll realise AJ’s just joking during their stilted interactions on camera (and backstage) when it gets ‘weird’, and that when Shane gives him the heart-eyes in response, he’s not joking.

Oh my God, how did this happen?

“Hey Shane.”

“JESUS.”

“Nah, Shane – just AJ.”

“Oh, right… of course. Yes?”

“Well, I just saw you collapsed on the desk. So, are you okay? You want some water, some ice? You know I’m good for that,” he says with a grin.

“There’s no Producer telling you to bring me ice now, AJ.”

“Uh, well, a Producer didn’t tell me to bring you ice earlier, either.”

AJ blushes and looks down at his feet. Uh-oh: danger. More weirdness imminent – is he making AJ feel uncomfortable? His poor straight co-worker AJ? Is Shane staring up at him too long? Oh God, he is.

“I- I’m fine, AJ – great! Just tired. Thank you, though. I appreciate that. Yes.” AJ finally looks back up and swallows, seems to roll his eyes at himself. Keep talking, Shane – keep talking.

“So, uh, AJ – you’re off to the hotel tonight, or driving through?”

“Hotel. Yeah. But driving through tomorrow… You?”

“Huh?”

“You drivin’ or stayin’?”

“Driving, back to Stanford.”

“Oh! Right,” he nods and looks at Shane for a while. Then realises Shane isn’t talking.

“Well, I guess I’m keepin’ ya...” he frowns.

Shane’s chest gets tight – what has Shane said, what’s wrong, what’s he done? Did AJ want him to stay behind longer, so he could tell him to cut out the mooning over him, all the hero-worship?

It is hero-worship he’s feeling towards AJ… right?

“Will we see ya next week, Shane?”

“I think so – should be around for rehearsal.”

“Okay. Cool. I’ll, uh, leave you to it.”

He knocks his knuckles against the wood of the desk twice, then turns to walk away. Finally. Shane lets out another breath he didn’t realise he was holding and tries to pull himself together. Maybe he needs therapy – would six weeks of intense psychoanalysis work with his schedule?

“Oh, Shane?”

Fuck.

“Yes, AJ?”

He’s stopped in the doorway, and he’s smirking.

“I got you that ice because you were looking overheated. Talkin’ to me on that show gets you all heated up and nervous, don’t it?’

Shane’s mouth goes dry. AJ’s eyes are sparkling with that playful look he’s been giving him since they started working together on the Wrestlemania angle. He can’t talk – does AJ know?

“It’s tough keeping up with The Phenomenal One, ain’t it?” Then he does the ‘AJ Styles pose’ with his arms out as he walks out of the door, laughing to himself, just like he had in the ring the taping after their match on April 2nd.

Shane swallows and starts to cough, undoing another button on his shirt. He’s sweating again, heart thudding fast in his chest.

It’s not hero-worship. Shane wants him.

“Oh, shit.”

Shane can’t sleep. She’s sleeping, but since they got into bed, he’s been staring at the ceiling and regretting not taking the call from P1. AJ. Allen.

AJ might not want him anymore, but Shane still wants him. So badly. He only had AJ underneath him in a bed twice, but he wants him again. All of him. Even if he’s always angry.

The phone goes off when Shane turns it back on, quietly praying the noise won’t wake her.

Sero isn’t bothered when Kayama-sensei assigns Bakugou as his partner for a project. Actually, he’s kind of glad. Bakugou is one of his friends, and it doesn’t hurt that in terms of academics, Bakugou is third in their class - definitely the kind of person he wants on his team.

Bakugou doesn’t seem the feel the same. In fact, Sero’s pretty sure he hates group projects. The way he furiously muttered, “I hate group projects,” when Kayama-sensei announced the project kind of gave it away.

They had met at the library after school to talk about the project. Sero already had ideas for topics - the project was a five minute presentation on the societal changes between the second and third quirk generations - but Bakugou shut him down before he could offer a suggestion.

“I’ll have this done by the deadline,” Bakugou says. “So you can leave now.”

Sero pauses from pulling his notebook out of his backpack. “Wait. What?”

Bakugou rolls his eyes. “What the fuck do you think? I’m going to do it myself, obviously.”

Sero is suddenly having second thoughts about having Bakugou as a partner. He knows Bakugou doesn't work well with others, but this seems excessive. “Dude. Hero work is all about collaboration.”

“This isn’t fucking hero work, is it? I can do this better all myself,” Bakugou says. “I’ll put together the presentation. And present it. You can stand there and...change the slides or something.”

Sero isn’t one to get in the way. When the top students like Bakugou or Todoroki or Midoriya went head on in a fight, Sero was more than happy to let them take the lead. He couldn't do anything when villains attacked during the school trip. He hadn't done anything to help Bakugou when he was captured. Even at the sports festival, Sero had let Bakugou make all their decisions, only chipping in when he was needed to pull Bakugou back onto their shoulders.

But in the end, everything had worked itself out, without Sero's active participation. He wasn't needed.

Hero work was one thing - unpredictable, dangerous, and best left to the strongest players. But this was classwork. And Sero felt guilty putting this whole project on Bakugou.

“I can’t just do nothing, man, I want to contribute something,” he says.

Bakugou slams his hands on the table. “I told you, I’ll do it.”

Sero doesn’t even flinch. He’s not intimidated by Bakugou’s aggressive tendencies. “I feel kind of useless, though,” he complains.

“I don’t give a shit,” Bakugou says. “I will do this and I will get us a perfect score, can’t you be satisfied with that?”

Sero bets this was how group projects were for Bakugou in middle school. He would be the super bossy one who took control of the project, and the everyone else would just be happy they could slack off. And hey, Sero was man enough to admit he was sometimes that guy. But that was before - now he’s at U.A. He has to get serious and earn his own grades. “Not if I don’t deserve it,” Sero tells him.

Bakugou groans, reaching into his backpack. “If I give you something to do, will you shut up?”

Sero smirks. “For 8000 dollars, I will stop.”

“The shit does that mean?”

“Just...give me something to do.”

He waits patiently while Bakugou pulls a paper out and shoves it at him. It’s the list of sample topics Kayama gave them. “Pick one.”

Sero glances at the list. Most of the topics seemed pretty boring, and Sero doesn’t even know what most of them are. But he notices that some of them are circled - maybe the ones Bakugou was considering? He picks the most interesting one of those. “How about Quirk Marriages?”

“Fine.” Bakugou snatches the paper back, and starts packing it into his bag. “There. You contributed.”

Just like that, his satisfaction disappears. Poof. Like Thirteen sucked it up and it disappeared into nothing. “Wait - that’s it?”

“Duh, that’s it,” Bakugou says, throwing on his backpack. “I can handle the rest, Soy Sauce Face.”

Sero rolls his eyes at the nickname. “Look, I know you think I’m stupid - and hey, I might be, in comparison to you - but that doesn’t mean I can’t be useful.” Even as the words leave Sero's mouth, he doesn't quite believe them. Was he useful during the end of term exam? Was he useful during the USJ attack?

“How many times do I have to say it to get it through your thick fucking skull?” Bakugou says at a near shout. “I. Don’t. Need. Your. Help!”

By the time the librarian comes to quiet them down with her voice silencing quirk, Bakugou’s long gone, leaving Sero alone, no closer to being useful than before.

Sero is used to taking the sidelines, but this time will be different. Energized by the support from his friends, Sero vows to prove to Bakugou - and himself - that he’s useful.

He tries to do a bit of research for the project on his own. There’s an article on some online magazine that gives a general history of quirk marriages, from the first quirk marriage to the protests against them. Proud of his find, and much more informed than before, Sero pulls out his phone.

That wasn’t entirely true, though. Ever since he told his friends how he was feeling on the group chat, he’d been thinking about his place at U.A. Mostly, how he wasn’t persistent about pursuing a spot in the spotlight next to U.A.’s strongest. He had shrugged off his loss at the sports festival. He was the only one who failed the end of term test whose team had beat their hero opponent. He was content to sit back while his friends stormed on ahead of him, blaming his poor results on his less-powerful quirk rather than his relaxed attitude.

That wasn’t any different than sitting back and letting Bakugou do all this work on their project. Ashido called him stubborn, but a truly stubborn person wouldn’t be content with second place. Sure, he felt useless, but he wasn’t doing anything about it. If he really wanted to do better for himself, he’d have to make a bigger effort. Bakugou doesn’t reply. Sero hears stomping. Suddenly his door slams open.

Bakugou is absolutely fuming. Smoke is literally coming from his palms. Sero silently counts this as another victory.

He storms into Sero’s room, slamming the door behind him and dropping his stuff on the ground. “I hope you’re fucking happy,” he growls.

“I’m positively joyous.”

Sero looks over the back of his chair, watching Bakugou work.

“So. How’s it coming?” Sero asks. “Were the sources I found useful?”

Without looking up, Bakugou lists off his evaluation. “The first source wasn’t credible. You can’t just cite some rando’s blog.” Sero’s heart plummets. “The second one would have been good - but it was the wrong time period. The third was beyond biased.” He pauses before continuing on. “The last one was...suitable.”

Sero gulps. Next to his past few victories, this is definitely a loss. He’s only proven Bakugou right by giving him these shitty sources.

This is why he usually let the others take the spotlight - they knew what they were doing. They were smart, they were reliable. Maybe Bakugou was right. Maybe he could do this better alone. Maybe Sero really was useless.

“Why the fuck do you want to help so bad anyway?” Bakugou speaks so quietly, Sero almost doesn’t hear him. He’s not even sure if he was supposed to hear him.

Sero decides to answer his question anyway.

“I don’t want to mooch off your work. I want to earn my own grade - it’s not fair to either of us if I don’t do any work,” he explains. “It’s like when you’re fighting, and someone doesn’t even try to fight against you. Even if you win, it doesn’t feel like a win, you know?”

Bakugou looks back at him with a near unreadable expression on his face. Sero isn’t sure whether he’s hit a nerve or struck a chord in him. Maybe both.

Suddenly Bakugou gets up and shoves his papers into his bag. Sero leans back in his chair and holds back a sigh. Fuck. I went to far. Now he’d be back at square one.

“I’m going to send you a list of sources.”

Sero looks up. Bakugou’s still standing by the open door.

“Take notes on them, then give them to me,” he demands.

Sero lights up. “Yeah, sure!”

Bakugou leaves, but Sero’s feeling more confident than before. He just needs to be stubborn like Bakugou. He’ll kept trying until he gets this right.

They meet in the library next week.

Bakugou is, to put it lightly, frustrated.

Sero thought the project was going well. Bakugou actually read over his notes and constructed a summary from it. They had the slides planned out and everything - but Bakugou still wasn’t satisfied.

“This isn’t good enough!” Bakugou says, throwing down his notes. “This is just generic, dumb facts. If we want to beat everyone else we need to do more.”

“I don’t think this is about beating the others.” Sero didn’t miss how he said “we” this time, instead of “I.” Another victory.

Bakugou ignores him. “We need to make a claim. Show how quirk marriage had a lasting effect.”

“It’s not like quirk marriage is dead,” Sero comments. Bakugou looks at him weird, so he tries to explain himself. “You say it like it’s a thing of the past, but people still do it, even if it’s not super common. My neighbor is the result of a quirk marriage. And she’s not even like, thirty.”

Bakugou’s eyes go wide, and his lips twitch. “That’s perfect,” Bakugou says, nearly jumping out of his seat. “Get an interview with her. We can put a video on the slides.”

Sero grins. “I can ask, sure!”

Bakugou leans back in his chair, kicking his legs up on the desk. “Top that, Ponytail girl.”

The Boy Who Cussed THE FUCK IS THAT SUPPOESD TO MEAN FUCKFACE??!!!

A few days later, they sit in front of Bakugou’s laptop, looking at the draft of their final presentation.

At the moment, the slides have a black backdrop with bright orange text in some hardcore font that’s incredibly hard to read. Sero notes that the colors match his costume. Each slide looks the same - blocks of information in bullet points, too hard to read.

“Hey, Bakugou do you take constructive criticism?” Sero asks.

"No."

"It fucking sucks."

Bakugou swivels around in his seat, snarling. “The fuck do mean? It looks fucking cool.”

Considering Bakugou’s parents worked in the fashion industry, Sero would have thought Bakugou would have an eye for design. These slides proved that assumption wrong. “Yeah, maybe, but like...could we make it readable?”

Bakugou narrows his eyes. “You don’t think it’s readable?” he asks accusingly.

Sero throws up his arms. “I’m just calling it as I see it, dude.” Knowing that this is an area where Bakugou falls short, Sero makes this an opportunity for himself. He’s not an artist by any means, but he’s sure he can do better than this. “How about you can write the presentation, and I’ll design the slides.”

Bakugou glares at him for a moment, no doubt questioning whether he can trust Sero with this task.

“Relax. It’ll be fine,” Sero reassures him. “I promise I’ll put a lot of effort into it - and you can look over it when I’m done, so you can make sure it’s up to your standards.”

“Fucking fine,” Bakugou relents.

Sero is more than satisfied with the end result. One - because it was a bombass presentation, two - because Bakugou couldn’t have done this without Sero’s help, and three - because they got full marks from Kayama-sensei. She even complimented them on the sleek design of their presentation.

“Put it here, Bakugou!” Sero holds up his hand.

With a grin closer to a smirk, Bakugou slams his palm against Sero’s. His high five is just as explosive as his...well, explosions. That’s going to leave a mark.

Shaking out his wrist, Sero says, “That wasn’t so bad, was it?”

Bakugou rolls his eyes. But Sero's silently proud of Bakugou for giving up some of his agency. He knows Bakugou likes to do things himself, and he bets Bakugou had just as hard a time sharing group work as Sero had trying to feel useful.

“You should have shown what you’re capable of earlier, Soy Sauce Face,” Bakugou says. “What the fuck have you been holding back for?”

Sero can hear Kirishima’s voice in his head saying So manly!

Bakugou’s words hit Sero like a punch. In middle school, Sero was described as plain. Plain face, plain clothes, plain personality. He thought going to U.A. would change all of that, and it did, at first. But Sero saw himself quickly falling behind ever since the sports festival. Against Bakugou and Kaminari’s flashy quirks or Ashido’s magnetic personality or Kirishima’s sheer resilience, Sero was once again the plain person in the pack. The useless one.

Sero is beginning to realize that this is his own fault. He can see how hard his classmates work - he just needs to up his game.

Bakugou’s right - what is he holding back for? He’s capable of so much more if he doesn’t play follower to the leaders of the pack. Sero can keep up with them - this project proved it.

“I’m not holding back,” Sero tells him. “I’m just warming up!”

Bakugou smirks. “Better catch up quick.”

“Trust me, I’m just getting started.”

38: Who was your biggest childhood nemesis and why?

oh GOD at first i didn’t think i’d be able to answer thiS but ok so when i was little; like 6-8, i did ballet. There was this girl in my ballet class, Semele (realllllly cool name, didn’t deserve it), and we became fast friends. I’d go over to her house and she’d come to mine and it was really sweet because i liked her a LOT and she was the first friend of mine that we’d both been to each other’s house and we had this level of closeness and we had fun and shared ballet in common so it was great. Except once in ballet class when the teacher asked us our individual ages i said i was 7, well, 7 and a half!!! and she tried to shut me down and accused me of lying about my age, said that i was 6, that i was a baby, that i was being dishonest. ANd like - i’m a large crybaby anyway, but at that age being OLD really matters right? Like, it super mattered to me, and to other kids my age back then that you were perceived as the actual age you are and NOT younger, so her saying i’m 6 was a big blow. And so i started crying, because no one likes being called a liar, and i wasn’t a liar!! at that point at least LMAOooooooo baby genie got evil but that’s another story. ANyway i didn’t hold a grudge, even though from what i remember she did other awful things to me just to make me upset, but yea i had these two lion toys that were gifts from my father. One was a big male lion and the other was a tinier girl lion so i always thought of them as like dad and daughter and at that point in time my father was my biggest hero. So Semele comes over often, we lay all my toys out so we can choose what we want to play with that day (an activity that i engaged in because i wanted my friend to be happy, but which brought me a huge deal of stress and i’d rather not do), and she would often choose a toy to borrow and bring back at a later time, and i’d always say yea!!! except if it was those lions. But that day she really insisted, and i felt awful about telling her no, so i let her take the baby lion. And she never fucking brought it back. We even went to her house with my dad and confronted her and her parents (who were nice people but horrific parents, they let her get away with EVERYTHING), and i was so hurt because she was washing the lion and baby me was like “no!!! u r hurting her!! that’s not how u do it u barbarian!!!!” and then i saw she had an eXACT SAME LION in a different colour and i was like??? “WHY DO U WANT MINE U HAVE UR OWN” and she said “oh that’s not mine, it’s another friend’s” and i said “oh so you steal from all your friends?”

then we left and i never talked to her again RIPi should’ve stolen the baby lion back when i had the chAnce
