And They Were Zoom-mates… silly modern AU that got completely out of control. 225k series for some reason. One chapter left when my brain applies itself to editing.

Purgatory - early canon divergence. Back from mini-hiatus. Currently at chapter 39. Hoping to finish by chapter 50… bit I’m side eyeing that projection.

Tio-verse multi-chapter - unpublished WIP. Projecting ~10 chapters and approximately 50% complete.

Dark Alternative - Dark magic AU. Rayllum childhood friends to lovers. ~20+ chapters (projected, likely more) Currently 50k WIP doc

Out Of Time sequel - God… like… I wanna but I don’t. They were finally happy in that ‘verse. And yet… Six uber sad chapters. Currently 10k written. I can tell it wouldn’t take much to finish but the guilts get me.

Snake Boi Callum fic - failing to adhere to a 500 word limit to the prompts so ~4K at present. Aiming to publish for that event.

Bloodythirsty follow up - no idea why, but liked this AU and wanted more. Probably half done. Have in my head to post for Halloween. Maybe an M/E rated additional chapter because vampire are hot.

I have a lot of other half baked ideas (Finnegrin’s Wake from both Rayla and Callum’s POV, one-sided Sorayla fic, super random regency fic) that get picked up every now and then, but the ones above are the ones most likely to see competition/AO3 at all.

For 20. I learned a lot this year! I learned how to cook with cardamom. I learned how to make breakfast foods I didn't hate. I learned a lot about how to get help from friends/work/doctors. I learned how to do reduction prints and gelli plate prints. I learned I hate gelli plates.

Hello fellow miwi shipper genuinely curious, why is Vecna associated with 4?

Thanks for asking. (Your the first one to ask me stuff so this is kind of exiting)

Well,

I associate him with 4 because of his curses S4. Everything about his curse is connected to that number.

Most obvious -> 4 chimes, 4 kills, 4 gates

Less obvious (I'm gonna make an analysis about this one more specifically in a while) -> his victims die on their 5th day of being cursed, after 4 (I don't count the 5th day because they having vision) days of having symptoms and 4 nights of having nightmares.

Totally hidden but when you squint your eyes and tilt you head enough (Also part of my analysis) -> His victims are supposed to have 4 visions. As I said this will be part of my analysis but I just gonna say this:

Max's and Patrick's first vision (which we can be sure about being the first at least with Max, but because Patrick has the same vision we can assume that's the same with him) was the grandfather clock without anything to make it more creepy.

Max's second and Chrissy's and Fred's 1st vision is a deception of the real world where a person they (think they) interact with is turning to Vecna.

Chrissy's and Fred's 2nd vision is the grandfather clock with a creepy addition (Spiders for Chrissy and the people calling him murderer for Fred).

Chrissy's and Fred's 3rd vision is their death. It's the same with Max only that she can escape from it.

Max 4th vision is her death.

So this all seems like is doesn't got a clear structure until you notice that Patrick is throwing the timeline off schedule and Fred and Chrissy had visions before we see them (it's implied by Ms. Kelly having notes about them seeing things). And the picture we should see is this:

1st vision: Grandfather Clock

2nd vision: Someone morphing into Vecna

3rd vision: Grandfather Clock + creepy addition

4th vision: Confrontation with Vecna and Trauma -> Death

Deathloop, a game about an assasin stuck in a timeloop, in the same day repeating again and again.. My friend played it and said it was cool, so I wanna check it out.

The The Upturned, horror comedy. Recommended by a friend again.

Then Ori and the Will of the Wisps, sequel to my beloved game Ori and the Blind Forest. Already got it, although I keep postponing the day I play it for some reason xD

Ah, and of course, Silksong, sequel to Hollow Knight. Or prequel, whatever. Just another game about bugs.

Closed, I can't imagine leaving it open, it fills me with unease.

Also our cat could just walk in and sleep in my bed.

Hmm... I got a few

It's been a while, but me and my brother were home alone, and we were up past our bed time. We were on our way, but we just kept talking and talking.. Then we heard a clap. As if someone clapped their hands. That startled us for a while, but then we kept going, and talked more. When we've heard a loud "SHHHHH", we decided to go to sleep.

Sometimes when we were home alone again, we'd hear cutting noises come from the kitchen and then there would be bread crumbles, even tho our parents always clean it before leaving.

From the newer ones, I was once really upset, scrolling mindlessly on Tumblr, when a cold-ish air surrounded my hand. Kinda like a breeze, but static. And out of nowhere I could smell roses, despite it being winter and everything being frozen.

Oh and last time I was going down the street and stopped suddenly to look at something. Not the best idea cause someone could walk into me. Which almost happened- I heard the sound of boots scratching the pavement as someone right behind me had to stop just as suddenly as me. I turned around, kinda startled- and no one was there.

4. what kind of reputation do you think you have?

I always felt like my classmates thought I'm arrogant. I'm an outcast in my class. But it's getting better I think. I tried talking to them more so I could show them who I really am.

On here, on Tumblr.. just sum artist. I don't think I really have a reputation here at all. But I got a few people who care about me, and that fills me with happiness and determination.

5. what's your ideal job?

Heh, if only I knew. I need my freedom- I'm not much for structure, I find fulfillment in my own things I'm passionate about. I'm one hell of a procrastinator, I'm messy with socialising (I wanna but it drains me out, I need it but I can't, and then I need my alone time too), if I lose my passion my vision fades and it's hard for me to keep going. Sometimes I have a block and can't do The Thing and it sucks.

Busywork kills me. Standards kill me. I wanna do my own thing without outside pressure to meet some quota or goal I don't believe in.

Plus, school kills me too, and nowadays you can't do almost anything without a degree.

So, you tell me. I'm only built for dancing, drawing, and robots xD

6. what made you start your blog?

At first I just wanted to see where all the memes on Pinterest came from, but then I decided to do what I tried on Instagram long time ago and it failed- share my work. I just wanted others to see what I do, to spread the joy, so I tried it once more..

And without an algorithm killing it, it worked.

7. What do you wish people would stop asking you?

Uhhhhh "Can you draw me?" I suppose xD There's definitely some question that gets on my nerves, but I can't really think of one rn. I'm more tired of the "You're an adult, you should be independent and responsible and be able to do (x)"

8. If I could only know one thing about you, what would be the most important thing?

Uhhh idk? That I'm an artist?

9. What was the last concept that inspired you?

Hmm.. Asexual succubus was an interesting concept.

I felt more inspired by your drawing of us two though. Motivation bomb.

10. Your last obsession? And why?

Glados, I suppose, although it's not really an obssession, or at least not That Much. Tho she had me replay both Portal games, and replaying is not a thing I really do, especially if the story doesn't change. I dunno, she's just snarky and sarcastic and funny and I'm addicted to her voice. Idk.

Actually what am I saying. That was some time ago. Now it's Helluva Boss and Hazbin Hotel. Idk. Demons funny.

11 Do you ever want to get married?

No. Well, maybe. Like, I'm open up to the concept, but it's not my lifelong wish, if you get me. Depends. Rn more opposed to the idea though. Maybe to prove a point you don't need to get married to lead a meaningful and happy life, idk..

Wren, probably, because I think she has a more solid foundation for practical math considering all her training and the basic education she got through the military (considering also: she was homeless since age 10 and didn't have basic education as a child, thus I'm saying she got it via her Alliance training, probably through Anderson going a little above and beyond for her). But when it comes to interest in math, that's definitely me. She cares only to the point of what is useful to her. I'm very into more theoretical/abstract mathematics and plan to actually learn it on a university level :D But my knowledge right this minute vs hers, she would be better. Ask me again in a decade or two. tldr Wren, but I like math more than she does.

I am Habib from Gaza. I am married and have four children: Menna, 12 years old, Adam, 10 years old (suffering from quadriplegia), Maria, 6 years old, and Ezz, one year old. Although they are young, they have survived previous wars, but this current war is the most difficult of all. This is a war of genocide, and the difficulty of the war lies in the inability to meet the needs of my son Adam, who needs special care.

Over the past ten months, we have been caught in the crossfire of the ongoing conflict in Gaza. Our once peaceful home in Khan Yunis has been reduced to rubble, and now we find ourselves displaced in Deir al-Balah, living in squalid conditions in a makeshift tent on the streets. The devastation not only deprived us of our physical shelter, but also destroyed my livelihood - the once thriving business that supported our family's well-being, is now in ruins. The daily struggle for survival is exacerbated by the scarcity of basic necessities such as clean water, adequate sanitation and basic medical supplies

Our home was the place where we found hope and safety, and where we made precious memories. Losing him was like losing years of our lives.

Not only that, they destroyed my source of livelihood, burned it, and demolished it with bulldozers, and today I am without a home and without a job. I was working in a store I owned that met the needs and expenses of my family

Living in tents is miserable. There is a lack of drinking water, hot sun rays, and strange insects that have terrified my children. What hurts me most is my young son Ezz, who I see growing up in an unclean environment and with no healthy food for him. I believe he has not received his right to life.

At this stage, my husband and I decided to go to you and create an account on the Go Fund Me website and ask you to help us in these difficult times until we get out of Gaza, from the land of war to the land of peace. We will also use it for the rest of the travel and safe transportation expenses to provide for all family members.

hbomberguy’s latest video on plagiarism has made me completely rethink literature and writing. I have never once so much as considered intentionally plagiarizing anyone or anything, but I think there’s something more that has come out of this: the names of the people who created the works Somerton (and others) ripped off.

Plagiarism isn’t only bad because it is lazy and disrespectful, it’s bad because it buries the truth. If you can’t find a source, the conversation is over. Somerton’s sources are fairly easy to find by simply searching his plagiarized lines, but that isn’t true in most cases. Most of the time, the line from statement to source is a lot less clear.

Today, I was writing a report on English Ivy, which is an invasive species here in the US. I wanted to know when it was introduced and I at last found a source claiming it was introduced to the Americas “as early as 1727” on a .net website that seems quite reputable (it has multiple major universities credited in its home page), but there is no citation for where this date came from. I dug deeper and found a pamphlet created by a city government in Virginia that made the same claim, only to discover the first source linked in their bibliography. Another website (a botanical garden’s page) gave the same date with the same source hyperlinked. Of course, I have classes to attend and things to do and probably not enough time to follow the lines back to where this 1727 date came from, but if I had not just watched this video, I wouldn’t have given that date a second thought.

Of course, it doesn’t matter in the long run exactly what year hedera helix was introduced to the Americas, but it makes you wonder how many facts have been so vaguely attributed that it becomes completely impossible to figure out where they originated (and further, whether or not they’re true at all).
